Good afternoon, it’s Bob Barney with the Friday wrap-up on The Plain Truth Today. Welcome to our program where we go over what has been the news of the week and of course the biggest news of the week are the hurricanes. I will be mentioning from the week before, Hurricane Helene and the recent Hurricane Milton that just decimated Florida. Notwithstanding, we are of course going to have all the talk of global warming which is nonsense.
The truth is that we have had hurricanes like this before.
(0:23) In fact, I think Hurricane Milton was actually…I won’t say overhyped, but I do think a lot of these hurricanes are overhyped. Why? Because TV stations all own weather channels now and they want to really push their owned weather channel, so they make some very sensational statements to the public. They will declare “this is the storm of the century”, “this is the best worst storm in 200 years”, etc. Milton appeared to be a bad storm but if you know Florida, and I used to live in Florida, the west coast tends not to get in on the Florida west coast category five hurricanes. They may be category five in the Gulf, and they may go into Texas and they may go into Louisiana or Alabama, but the shelf of Florida is very shallow and this very fact is where the different can be.
(1:04) When the storm gets close to the coastline of Florida, the storm surge is unbelievably high which we saw up at Cedar Key last week or two weeks ago, but the actual hurricane doesn’t have enough water because it’s not a deep water that can suck up the water to make it stay in a category five and that’s what happened with Milton. It was a category five, it was close to what they would say was going to be a category six and I told my wife, I said by the time it hits is going to be a two or a three because the minute it gets into that shallow water, yes there’s going to be a bad storm surge but the water is not going to be able to feed the storm. I continued that it is going to lose it all quickly and it did do so, just like I thought it would. However, what I was wrong about was there really was not a bad storm surge, there was a storm de-surge.
(2:02) I don’t know the right word for that but instead of the storm surge going up 12-15 feet, it actually went down five-six feet in the Tampa Bay and that is a reverse storm surge which almost tells me that I think God was behind these two hurricanes! Also, it almost tells me frankly that the damage was not as bad as it should have been because God intervened.
(2:24) I think God is giving us a message and I think it would be wrong not to see these last two hurricanes as it’s not global warming, but that we’ve had hurricanes this bad or worse before. Florida gets a lot of hurricanes, the Gulf Coast from Texas to Florida gets a lot of hurricanes, Mexico, the islands in the Caribbean are decimated all the time by hurricanes but I also believe that God is sometimes behind the weather. Sometimes God is not behind the weather but sometimes I think God before this election is giving the American people every single way in the world to see how incompetent this administration is and how incompetent Kamala Harris will be. Also how she has been and will be if she was ever elected president.
(3:15) The truth is and I had a show this morning and I wanted to go over that show, it was only a 7 minute 11 second show, called the 7:11 AM show you can find, here. The whole idea of the show really was the idea that big government has always been disappointing, and it will always be disappointing. It is the plain truth that you know when the government pushed income tax back in the 19-teens they said it would only be levied on the richest of the rich, does that sound familiar? We’re only going to make the rich pay their fair share, it’s not going to affect the middle class. That’s what the Democrats promised in the teens, the 19-teens. The income tax comes along and guess what happens? You got it, everybody’s paying income tax for a long time and then the Democrats and the Republicans both made sure that half the population doesn’t pay income tax, they pay all the other taxes and they secretly pay income taxes because of the little-known thing that happens with big government. What is that exactly? It’s called inflation and I have many shows on this. The Fed wants a 2% a year inflation rate which is insane, that means every 50 years you have 100% inflation. This means that prices double every 50 years so in your lifetime prices are going to more than double and that’s if they make their goal of 2%.
(4:35) In the last 30-40 years they’ve never made their goal of 2% and that has to do with income taxes and the government spending. When you give government all kinds of money they become big government, they become wasteful government and they don’t come through on any promises and so the income tax was a lie, a big government lie. Then when social security came along under FDR, they said again it was never going to allow seniors to live in poverty, it was going to bring seniors out of poverty, it was big brother was going to be able to take care of everybody and the other thing they promised and you need to go back and look at this, the other thing they promised was that your social security number would always be private, it would never be used for identification because many Christian groups back in the 40s said the social security sounds like the mark of the beast, you’ve got to have a social security number like some mark of the beast in order to buy or sell or have anything done and the government said it will never be used for identification.
(4:35) Well what’s on your license most likely, what happens on your insurance form, how do you how do you get insurance, how do you get pharmaceuticals, how do you get a bank account, how do you get anything in the United States if you’re a if you’re a citizen and not an illegal of course, by your social security number which is used for what? Identification. The government promised that would never happen, look at the original social security bill, it was never going to be allowed to be used as personal identification because it was considered the mark of the beast, did you know that? Well look what happened, so again you have to look at what the government promises and what the government delivers and by the way more senior citizens are in poverty today with social security than they were back in the 1930s during the depression. Then the great society, Lyndon Baines Johnson comes along in 1964 and guess what, now he’s going to take social security with the great society, he’s going to increase social security by giving Medicare because senior citizens need to have their health insurance.
(5:51) It was never going to be given to everybody else, everybody else had private insurance or whatever they needed but only senior citizens were going to get Medicare and they were going to tax your pay for a little bit of money but it was going to save you money when you became older and you were more sick and you needed more medicine, it would be the greatest thing that ever happened since life spread and again Medicare today is given to children, it’s given to single mothers, it’s given to illegal aliens, it’s given to everybody and it’s going broke and again there is just as many senior citizens that can’t afford their medicine now than there was ever in 1964. This is all a lie and by the way do you know why LBJ wanted to have cigarettes declared cancer causing and that’s the that’s the plain truth. The 1964 Surgeon General decided that cigarettes caused lung cancer even though the CDC’s own statistics and we’ve had many reports on the plain truth prove this. We have proved that the smoking of cigarettes did not directly cause lung cancer anymore and we see that today when smoking is down by 65 percent in America, but lung cancer rates are not down, not down at all.
(7:54) They don’t want to talk about that. Well the real reason why Johnson wanted to demonize cigarettes in 1964 and put that Surgeon General warning on all the cigarette labels and take commercials eventually off TV about cigarettes was he wanted to have an excuse to tax cigarettes so much money because it was killing Americans and it was raising our medical bills in order to pay for his Medicare because there was no way to pay for it when the Vietnam war raging taking all the money and that’s what the real reason behind the demonization of cigarettes were. They tried to do the same demonization by the way with wine and liquor until too many studies showed that drinking wine was actually good for you as the bible claims it and again by the way I just noticed a couple weeks ago and Fox News is running this story with their medical doctor I can’t remember her name Nicole Sapphire that’s her name and she’s now saying there is no good alcohol any consumption of alcohol is bad for you including in wine you’re better off to eat a few grapes or have some grape juice and that’s nonsense there are tens of millions of studies but I’ll tell you the study that I go by what God says in his word God has made wine for the consumption of his people and if it’s good enough for God and good enough for God’s people then it’s good enough for me and I don’t take hold of false fake science to try to prove something so the government can demonize it to tax it even more than it’s taxed and that’s what’s going on with that it’s just it’s just big government has never come through in anything they promised.
(9:36) The latest thing we see is with FEMA. FEMA is an absolute joke and it’s always going to be a joke. Good governors like Ron DeSantis don’t depend on FEMA…he depends on his own resources and when he can get whatever he can get out of FEMA after the fact he takes that. This is what a good governor does. Lousy governors like the governor of North Carolina are idiots in charge who do not prepare for a storm like this in any way because he’s depending on the federal government. Typical and just like the Democrats did in Louisiana in New Orleans back when Katrina came through and destroyed New Orleans. That whole poverty problem and that whole destruction problem all occurred because of malfeasance by the Democrats in charge of Louisiana at the time. If you go and study that flooding and what happened with the levees and everything you will see 40 years of absolute corruption and malfeasance in the construction and the maintenance of the pumps and the levees was a major cause.
(10:40) By the way the town of New Orleans is 16 feet below sea level which is pretty stupid in its own right I would have never built the city back it was up to me in another story that we ran this week there’s a movie out it’s a terrifying document documentary I’m sorry called Line in the Sand it’s by journalist and film director James O’Keefe we all know James O’Keefe with all his hidden camera interviews of all the liberals and it’s going to premiere on the Tucker Carlson network and it did actually yesterday October 10th it’s a chilling tale of modern day exploitation and the human misery and abuse about a legal immigration system across the United States where millions of children have disappeared I believe the total is about 325,000 and what at where have they gone well most of them probably have ended up in the sex slavery and prostitution both heterosexual and homosexual prostitution why is this form of human slavery and gross abuse not stopped well O’Keefe concludes that all that are involved are getting rich especially the big business people the big billionaires of this country you know the people that went to Epstein Island which Donald Trump is probably going to reveal those names Bill Gates be prepared and also politicians Democrat politicians and RINO Republicans as well take a lot of money from people who profit from the drug trade and from child sex slavery and women sex slavery there’s a lot of women that come over the border or runaway teenage girls that run away from their home and they you know they take a bus somewhere and at the bus stop is all these pimps and these drug dealers and they pick these girls up they get them hooked on drugs and before long what are they doing they’re into the prostitution it’s it’s a terrible nightmare.
(12:33) The most important question is summed up in this way according to this movie the sacrifice in your value system and integrity to feed your family make you a bad person there seemed to be an internal struggle between doing what people perceive to be morally right and pursuing their livelihood the heart-wrenching moral question posed in line of sand echoes World War II and German philosopher Hannah Arndt I believe that’s how you pronounce her last name that says you know is it okay to use the excuse of feeding your family as an excuse to do evil in the world and it’s a question that the movie brings up and this leads me into the next sexual predator type idea or molestation of children idea.
(13:26) Another story we put up this week that’s on the message board is this idea there is a study now showing that 14 000 children have undergone trans procedures 14 000 children have received transgender the transgender industry has exploited from a trickle of young males seeking transition produced thousands upon thousands of minors who have filled the industry’s bank accounts with over more than a hundred million dollars’ worth of profit according to a groundbreaking new report the group do no harm has found nearly 14 000 minors have undergone transgender surgeries puberty blockers or cross sex hormone injections between 2019 and 2023 13 994 children received transgender related treatments 5700 had sex change operations 62 682 prescriptions were filled and at least 119 million really closer to 120 million dollars was made by the hospitals that did these procedures the this the release of this data is a nuclear bomb according to Dr. Miriam Grossman who said that we are led to believe by politicians and many groups that these interventions are very rare and hardly happening in this country at all but it’s simply not true it’s happening all the time unquote the procedures sometimes generate millions of dollars for the facilities doing it Boston children hospital ranked in more than five million dollars doing these surgeries and sex change procedures the group released its list of the dirty dozen hospitals and i believe if you are near these hospitals or whatever you should write them or write about them or tell everybody about how they are making money off the lives and the blood basically of children these are the hospitals that make the dirty dozen according to this report the children’s hospital of Philadelphia Connecticut children’s medical center children’s medical center of Minnesota Seattle’s children’s hospital children’s hospital of Los Angeles Boston children’s hospital Grady children’s hospital children’s national medical center the UCSF children’s hospital in Oakland California children’s hospital of Colorado the UPMC children’s hospital of Pittsburgh and Cincinnati children’s hospital medical center some of these hospitals are actually really nothing but activists really trying to line their pockets with the profits of destroying children’s lives.
(16:21 By the time they become adults their lives we they would just be permanently destroyed their lives are destroyed and this is being done by liberal democrats mainly even more than RINO republicans but there are many republic RINO republicans that secretly defend it and this is nothing but a money making scheme this is no different in a way it’s worse than what Jeffrey Epstein was doing to 16 year old 15 year old girls it’s actually worse if you really think about it think of the numbers involved here and what’s going on and this is the kind of thing that if we do not stop i don’t know what we’re what’s going to happen to this country and if you think god is going to bless a country that mutilates their children sacrifices them on the altar to Molek read the bible about sacrificing your children on the altar to Molek and that is what you are doing by the way when you do a abortions up to the ninth month or after birth abortions which are happening all over the place contrary to what the democrats and liberals are trying to tell you this is what’s happening with these sex change operations this is what’s happened with the sex trafficking of our children that come over the border of our women and young girls that are forced into prostitution after they are converted into drug addicts or across the country by these pimps this is the things that are happening in this country that god is going to have a reckoning there’s just no two ways about it there’s going to be a reckoning that god is not going to continue to bless a nation that destroys its women and its children it’s just not we have to follow the 10 commandments we have to follow what is happening in this country that god is against and is that it’s that simple the other thing that we brought to light this week on the plain truth.

(19:43) bThe last subject probably that I have time to talk about in the Friday wrap-up is a real stunner which I’m not stunned the headline says stunner you know we have this this uh story up but a new report from the epoch times reveals a stunning conclusion from several economists that the united states has been in a recession for the last two years duh i have been telling us and I’ve been telling my readers and our listeners out there that we have been in a depression for at least three years and that the only reason that most people do not feel the bite of this depression is because of all the federal handout of money which is causing a runaway inflation which will end up being worse than the 1929 depression when it finally all comes home to roost as Donald Trump has been warning i have been warning and any good economist has been warning we are heading to off a cliff and Americans are going to suffer like they haven’t suffered in almost 100 years if something doesn’t happen this November according to the bureau of labor statistics.
(21:04) Since 2019 inflation is really up 25 i believe inflation is really up almost 40 or 50 when you take all the different things that is not counted in the in the bls studies they do not count for example for example your mortgage your taxes on your home taxes on your income that has to go up in order to uh be able to live through this inflation or the insurance premium as your car the insurance premium is on your house these are the things that do not count against this inflation number that the bls puts out if you take about what you had to spend in 2019 and what you have to spend today to be the same lifestyle that you had in 2019 whatever your lifestyle was in 2019 i guarantee you it’s almost 50 more money to be spent today than you had to spend in 2019 so the real inflation number is not 25 it’s probably nearly 40 or 50.
Do yourself a favor I’m somebody that tracks all my expenses I’ve done that since we first got married some 45 years ago 44 years ago that we tracked I had an old common door computer and then an Atari and i used to track my every check we ever wrote back then when you wrote nothing but checks my wife wasn’t happy about it at the time when we were so darn poor to know how much we spent on diapers for example but you got if you don’t track your expenses you don’t know how you’re doing and it’s just basics to business and basics to homeowner or to homemaking but um if you look at what you spent in 2019 your total you spent to live the life you did and the total you’re spending today i bet you if you spent let’s say forty thousand dollars you spent now 60 to 70 thousand dollars i guarantee you to do the same thing and your income that you’ve gotten from your pay raises over the last five years have not kept up with that you might have gone from a salary of 50,000 to 60,000 10,000 more dollars in five years and think you did well if you actually are behind 25,000 from where you were in 2019 and you add 10,000 to that 25 you’re down still 15,000 and guess what Donald Trump is telling everybody that the average working family has done 12,900 and i think that’s about accurate i don’t think it’s politics i think that’s accurate i think if you actually look at your own life and your own spending you will see that’s exactly the case.
(23:56) Well I actually have time for one other story I think maybe two because there’s a lot of news on the plain truth this week you know the hurricane coverage uh sucked up all the headlines and the media time and even a lot of time on the plain truth but we also have a lot of other stories here is a situation going on that probably nobody out there really has heard about unless you live in Wyoming. If you live in Colorado or Wyoming or Montana you may know about this story but if you live in the southeast United States you live in New York city you live in Connecticut you live in California you live in Texas or Virginia where I’m from we haven’t heard anything about this there is something in Wyoming right now that is called the Elk fire a natural wildfire that is burning over 75,000 acres and the residents of Wyoming are expressing a lot of anger because there is none zero media coverage a wildfire that began in Wyoming’s big horn national forest last week has rapidly expanded covering 75,000 acres on Tuesday by Tuesday according to the U.S. Forest Service the Elk fire was ignited by lightning they think on September 27th though we have many stories on the plain truth if you go back and you put in the search engine you know wildfires or forest fires and you’re going to come up with where there is a lot of reports that Muslim Islam extremist that are you know in the united states illegally they came across the border are starting many of these forest fires and our government knows it but they’re trying to keep it quiet because they do not want the people to panic and realize that their policies allowing people to go over the border undocumented and then releasing them into the public when these are known terrorists our government is just hiding is that is that a surprise to you that the Biden administration is hiding the truth from you.
(24:41) Well this Elk fire has now about 830 people trying to battle the blaze has grown substantially in just a week becoming the largest wildfire in bighorn national forest’s history at a community meeting forest supervisor Andrew Johnson noted that the previous largest fire in the forest was only 18 000 acres and it took a month for it to become that this took a week residents of Wyoming have expressed frustration at the lack of national media cover of the fire with many pointing to the overwhelming focus on hurricane Milton as it approached Florida and of course Helene what it did in north Carolina and Tennessee and Georgia south Carolina so once again our mainstream media including our even our conservative media has picked winners and losers who gets aid who does not get aid who gets national coverage who does not get national coverage and I got news for you Wyoming is a very republican in a very small republican state at that i think there’s more people probably in Boston than there is in the entire uh state of Wyoming so they get very little national attention the plain truth is trying to give them attention and so uh that’s why we put the story up and it’s very important to realize what is really going on in our country.
(27:19) I put a story up about Davy Crockett about when he was in congress wrote a letter and it was not yours to give and for the last two minutes, I’m quickly give you a synopsis of that letter. He was running for office again and he was campaigning in his home state of Tennessee when he went to a farmer and he asked for his vote and the farmer said i don’t think we have the same politics i don’t believe in giving away people’s money that’s not your own and he said when did i ever do that he said well I read in the newspaper that there was a fire in Georgetown you guys witnessed from the capitol steps and when you saw this great fire you raced over to help people in which you did and i commend you for that then you passed a law the next day a bill that gave those people full restitution of what it cost them to rebuild their apartment houses and townhouses and David crocket said yes what’s wrong with that and the resident said his potential voter who said he would not vote for him said I’ll tell you what’s wrong with that probably the same night across the country five dozen homes or apartments or townhomes burnt to the ground but they didn’t get any money because you guys weren’t on the capitol steps to see it happen and so you pick winners and choosers with capital with people’s money with taxpayers money which is immoral and against the constitution and so I can’t support you Davy Crockett and so Davy crocket learned a hard lesson and he was right in that lesson and later on when it was time for a widow of a war of 1812 veteran to get a pension which is not was not in his contract the congress was going to vote a pension and he stood up and was the sole vote against it he lost but he gave this letter it is not ours to give it is not our money to give away stuff that is not promised just to give away the taxpayers money and that is what big government does to you it’s giving away your money for their own selfish reasons they want to give away money let’s as Davy Crockett pointed out give away your own money don’t give away the people’s
