We have no God but CAESAR – Or Uncle Sam (Transcript)

Hi, this is Bob Barney with another edition of The Plain Truth Today Podcast discussing false Christianity and what we should be looking out for in these times. 

The Jewish leaders of that time had already united themselves with the state, the Roman Government. As we can see from the crucifixion of Christ, they not only relied on the state’s power making it their king instead of God, but the Jews were also able to influence the state to do their bidding for them…things that they couldn’t do, they got the state to do. This is much like today. 

Pilate wanted to let Jesus free as he was a little bit in fear of the man because his wife had a dream that obviously came from God. The dream was about Jesus and that is not to be harmed. She in fact had told Pilate, “Do not harm this righteous man”, however the influence of the Jews which was supposed to be God’s chosen people, or like they like to tell everyone sanctimoniously, put upon the state to force Pilate to bring Jesus to his death. 

The sad fact is that the very same is taking place today between churches and the state; the modern world if you will.

 When the pandemic called Covid came along, the false Christian churches of today committed the same sin of the Jews of old. These so-called messengers of Christ basically told us that they too believed that they had no king other than Cesar. The church leaders did this because they united with the government across the western world stating we must close our churches, wear face masks and take the vaccines; to be apart from each other.

Pardon me?

I thought we believed in the true God of the Bible. You know that God that tells us that He is the God of healing? Can a virus survive in the presence of God Almighty? These phony ministers believe that it can!

Here is another example. Churches today have united with the government by obtaining tax exempt statuses. They also receive money from Uncle Sam. Churches receiving aid from the government are much like a welfare person. 

Think about that notion for a moment. 

We are supposed to rely on God for all things and not the state.

In proverbs God says, “Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and don’t lead on your own understanding. In all of your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths”. Again, in Psalms, God says, “it is better to trust in the Lord then put your confidence in a man”. 

Whatever happened with the separation of church and state I do not know. Tax exemption really implies that states accept these churches as state institutions.

 Here is what many may not know. The Bible warns us over and over again to be looking out for and avoid false Christian churches. Paul himself wanted Christians almost 1900 years ago when he said that God never sent these men at all, that they are phonies, and they are trying to fool you into thinking they are Christ’s apostles. I am not surprised. Satan says he can even change himself into an angel of light. Because of this, it is no wonder his servants can do the same and seem like godly ministers. The thing is that in the end, they will get every bit of the punishments that their wicked deeds deserve. That was Paul that long ago. Sadly, churches today have become fallen Babylon. You can read that in Revelations 14:17-18. By rejecting God’s truth, Jesus told us that these false ministers are fornicating with the kings of the earth and deceiving the whole earth with the wine of her fornication. While the church leaders may proclaim with their mouths that Jesus is their king, their actions say something different. They are saying they really have no king but Cesar. And once again, that is just like the Jews of old.

I guess today you would call it that they have no king but the United States Federal government.

Friends, prophecy will be fulfilled.

 It is time as God tells us what to do, to come out of Babylon, my people. He means come out of the false churches that claim they are Christian, but they are not. Come out of the fallen churches he says, or you shall share in her sins.
