For years now, if you have been a listener or a reader to The Plain Truth dot com, you would understand the calendar that we follow. We follow what we believe is the real calendar that God has in the Bible, and you can prove it for yourself. We have had many, many articles about the proof of the real calendar. It has nothing to do with the Jewish calendar by the way or the calendar followed by most Seventh-day churches of today.

Hello, this is Bob Barney with another 7-Eleven short audio on the longest period or month, you could say, in the Bible. It is kind of a strange story, and that’s what I’m going to get to in this broadcast.

This is the last month of the year and is the 12th month of God’s holy year. Believe it or not, according to God’s calendar versus the solar calendar, there are five and a quarter day missing each year because God’s calendar only consists of 12 months that are each 30 days equaling a total of 360 days; this is what is provable in scripture.

As you know, the calendar we go by today has 365 days. I want to share why I believe this is the case and want to make it clear that this is just my opinion based on what I understand biblically and logically.

Before the flood, the earth had exactly a 360-day rotation around the sun and not a 365 and a quarter-year rotation that it has today. I believe all of the water from the firmament that fell on the earth filling up the oceans, weighed the earth down where the day became longer and the months became shorter…the lunar month, that is as it used to be exactly 30 days as well. It seems to make sense that everything slowed down and the earth rotation caused there to be 365 and a quarter day, and you can prove this by a lot of the ancient calendars. There were a lot of calendars that were, I think, extent before the flood. Afterwards, people realized that their calendars were no longer accurate anymore.

The Jewish people, under the Babylonian captivity, adopted the Babylonian lunar calendar that most churches follow today, and it simply is not the calendar that God ordained in the Bible, and like I said, we’ll have articles that prove this. By the way, I am not talking about the Hebrew people…this is not Abraham, this is not Moses, this is not about the Israelites.

This is a short show, and the point of this show is to show you that the 12th month is actually only 30 days in length. Going from the time between the first day of the 12th month and the first day of the first month which is the start of the new year again is what I am referring to. The new year by the way happens on March 20th, which is this spring equinox. Yes, the beginning of spring and the beginning of God’s calendar coincide, which is actually a 35-to-36-day month or period. Why? Because the month is still only consisting of 30 days, and that is because the 12th month really ends about the 15th of March. Notice I said before that the first day of the new year does not start until the 20th day of March. That makes it so there are five and sometimes six days each year that there are to be considered as non-days or no days that are counted towards the calendar to get it back to the spring equinox.

The Spring Equinox is when all of the feasts and festivals of God start as they unveil God’s holy plan for us. Following the first day of equinox, 14 days later is Passover, and then seven days after that is First Fruits, then 50 days after that is Pentecost. In the seventh month on the first day of the month is the Feast of Trumpets, the 10th is the Day of Atonement, the 15th is the Feast of Tabernacles, all stemming from the birth of the new year. It does not follow a 365 day; it just doesn’t work out perfectly as God’s calendar had intended for it be. When you only do a 360-day year and count 5 and 1/4 days as non-days…it is amazing how every holiday in God’s calendar happens on the same exact date of the solar calendar every year, and that’s the way it was supposed to be. Passover will not always fall on the same day of the week, but it will fall on the same date of the week. Passover will always be the night of April 2nd and the day of April 3rd, and that’s just the plain truth about God’s calendar.

This month is a strange month because it starts like every other month after 30 days of the 11th month, and the first day again is the 12th month, and then it ends about March 15th, and in God’s calendar we have to go five, sometimes six days before the new year begins, so this is the longest period that you have between 35 to 36 days. That’s just the way it is, that’s the plain truth of the matter.

So I just thought I would bring that out because this month, coming up in early March, we’re going to have a lot of shows based on the calendar, based on Passover, which is less than a month away now. We have Passover coming, we have the First Fruits coming, we have Pentecost coming in May, and we will have 7:11 and midday shows on all of this. Specifically on God’s calendar and why we know that the Jewish calendar and the calendar followed by most Sabbath-keeping Christians today is pagan Babylonian origin. All you have to do is look at the month’s names of the Jewish calendar. You know, they have a name for every month. The Bible does not. The Bible calls most of it, some names they have, like Abib is the first month, but most of the times the months are numeral. The first day, first month, second month, third month, 12th month, they don’t have Babylonian names. Actually, there is a Babylonian, or I should say a Jewish month named after the Babylonian goddess and the god Tammuz, which is the false Easter, pagan Easter ceremony that the Christians follow. It is also the name of a Jewish month that the Sabbath-keeping Christians think they ought to keep.

Instead, they don’t listen to what the Bible clearly says about when the day begins and when it ends. First of all, Sabbath-keepers try to follow an evening to an evening day. It’s just simply not in the Bible. All you have to do is go to the first chapter of Genesis, and you can read the first day ended that morning, and then there was morning, then there was evening, then there was morning, the first day. If you really want best proof of this, you just go to John chapter 20 verse 19, and we know He was resurrected from the dead on a Saturday, and on Sunday morning, the tomb was empty. But then it says that same day, meaning Sunday evening, being the first day of the week when the doors were shut, Sunday evening was still the first day of the week.

I’m running a little overtime, but I just thought I’d put this little note in before I run my show on the new month that’s coming, and that’s coming probably next week. Thank you for listening. This is Bob Barney for the Short 7:11 broadcast, and we’ll be back later today. Bye-bye.
