Friday Wrap-Up with Bob: August 2, 2024 (Transcript)

Good morning. It’s Friday and this is the Plain Truth Today broadcast. I’m Bob Barney.

Welcome to the Friday edition. The first thing I want to talk to you about today is the United States House of Representatives has gone to court in Steve Bannon’s contempt case to try and argue that the conviction that Steve Bannon has is actually should be put aside because their position, and this is from the speaker himself, is that Nancy Pelosi’s committee to investigate the events of January 6th failed to follow the rules of the House, thus making the subpoenas that were issued to Bannon illegitimate. He could not be convicted of contempt for ignoring unfounded demands.

A report from Just the News explains that the legal filing happened about a week ago with very little fanfare, and the report explained in part that the Pelosi committee did not follow House rules and therefore the subpoenas that were issued are invalid and should not have been upheld by any court. It should be noted that this could be very interesting because this is the Speaker of the House behind this petition and so this may make it all the way to the Supreme Court. I hope it does frankly because I think it’s an issue that the Supreme Court does need to get involved with because both Peter Navarro and Steve Bannon and along with other Trump people who invoked executive privilege, should not have been held in contempt of Congress until courts decided if that executive privilege claim should be upheld or not.

I think that it needs to go to the Supreme Court, and I think there needs to be a ruling. I would not be surprised after the fact, and probably both of these fellows, as you may know…Peter Navarro is already out of jail, that both of these people will find themselves being exonerated and their records cleaned because the conviction on contempt of Congress is invalid just because the other committee under Nancy Pelosi did not follow House rules and therefore is an illegal committee.

In other news, a stunning new report by a former federal counterterrorism expert warns that Hamas is a threat to the United States, and even worse, it already is here. It has an extensive network of supporters inside America who are linked to the International Muslim Brotherhood. Of course, the open borders have allowed hundreds, if not thousands of terrorists to enter the country illegally.

Many experts believe that many sleeper cells are right now in America awaiting orders to attack targets that are in America, soft targets as they’re called. The Washington Times is reporting that the former FBI agent and former counterterrorism strategist for the Pentagon, his name is John Guandolo, is making these warnings, which should make most every American a little nervous. He has studied the global Islamic threat now for many years and his new report explains that Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood are jointly involved in possible terror cells in America.

Again, as I pointed out, these terror cells have been put on hold probably by Iran and Hamas and Hezbollah. But at the moment’s notice like if they were to attack Israel which we’re going to get into in a minute, in a moment’s notice, we could see terror cells within America start hitting soft targets in the major cities around the country and major installations of military bases, police forces, congressional, senate, you name it. This is all chickens coming home to roost I’m afraid to say by a very soft administration, the Biden-Harris administration on terrorists. When you pay them ransom money to get hostages back and you put millions of dollars on airplanes like Obama did, you’re going to get this kind of terrorism against this country. We are the target, even more than Israel as I explained earlier. We are the true target of these Hamas butchers.

Hamas, of course, is the terrorist organization that sent the brutal thugs into Israel last October 7th, killing, raping, and capturing some 1,200 Israeli citizens and some American citizens as well. Israel, in response, has promised to use its military might to remove the threat that Hamas poses. Guandolo said that the Islamic organizations both are engaged in an ideological attack on American citizens everywhere within the country, and it’s very, very, very disturbing news of a report.

The report also notes a key to the terror threat is the close alliance between Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, an organization Democrats think is nonviolent, by the way, and they support, and the community groups in which they serve. It’s very, very disturbing, and we have to see what’s going to happen. Like I said, it’s something that we have to keep an eye on because I do believe there are many, many terrorist cells extant in America today. They’ve come over the Mexican border. We know of thousands of them that got away. We have, I believe, two or three hundred known terrorists that entered this country and have not been stopped.

We do not know where they are and they’re making plans to be able to attack America at a drop of a hat.

One good piece of news is that another one bites the dust. Hamas political chief Ismail Haniyeh, I guess is how you say it, a billionaire terrorist was reportedly killed early Wednesday in Tehran, Iran, after the presidential inauguration of the new president of Iran.

Haniyeh was in Tehran for the inauguration of the new president, and it was reported by the supreme leader Ali Khamenei together with the leaders of other terrorist groups that he was murdered and did not know how it happened. And today, by the way, I read this morning that it’s believed that a bomb had been planted in his room months before. I don’t know how that would be but I guess the Israeli intelligence service Mossad really knows what they’re doing when it comes to tracking down these terrorists and making them pay the fiddler when it’s time.

Other multiple sources are citing Iranian television and saying that Haniyeh was killed, and that Hamas confirmed the death themselves, so we pretty much know that it’s true. In response, Khamenei has ordered direct strikes on Israel. I don’t know what that means and if we are we on the brink of a World War III, but I’ve been saying this for a long time now that I fear that with this administration, we have Biden and Harris just as weak if not weaker than Joe Biden on international relations, that we are very close to a possible World War III.

We have troubles in Korea, we have troubles in Taiwan and China, we have troubles in the Ukraine, we have troubles in Eastern Europe, and we have the Middle East crisis, which I have a broadcast and many articles how the Middle East will always be in your future according to God and your Bible and it will always be in your future. So, we are on the brink of something, and we’ve got to keep an eye on it.

Now, our White House claims they have no knowledge of the strike of the Hamas leader, and I believe that because I can’t believe Netanyahu would tell the White House anything after he was treated last week, and of course Biden is still missing in action anyway, he’s not to be seen. I think the idea that the world perceives America as a very weak nation with absolutely no ability to strike out to stand for anything, the world is really waiting…the smart people of the world are really waiting for a Trump administration. But these next six months could be holy terror for the entire world and for America and the American people as well and we’re just going to have to figure out what’s going to happen because I’m afraid we have war coming in the Middle East, we may have war coming with Taiwan, we may have North Korea doing something to South Korea, we have Russia, who knows what they’re going to do with Ukraine, or possibly some other targets in Eastern Europe. And we also had, and I don’t know how many people realize this, Turkey is a member of NATO.

How Turkey became a member of NATO I’ll never figure that one out, because Turkey should not have been allowed in NATO, number one. They are actually an actual enemy of the West…they are not part of the West as people tried to make them out to be. The idea now is what happens if Turkey attacks Israel? Does that mean NATO has to come to Turkey’s defense? Because that’s what the treaty says, the NATO treaty says, an attack on one is an attack on all.

So, if they attack Israel, what’s going to happen here? This is what happens when you make alliances with countries that do not belong to be in the alliance in the first place. Ukraine should have never been allowed in the alliance, and neither should some other countries on the Russian border. We didn’t want Russia, and we don’t want China in Cuba, we don’t want them in American space, so why should Russia be any different, not wanting us on their borders? One of the funny notes that I want to bring out is I’m going to call this part of the series, Kamala and the Indian.

As I said in yesterday’s broadcast, Donald Trump seems to agree with me about Vice President Kamala’s Indian heritage, Kamala Harris, I should say, Indian heritage Thursday by sharing a photo of her family before discovering her so-called blackness and her black roots. Trump showed an old photo of her family that she used to display proudly, and that photo shows her family dressed in all Indian garb, and Trump said sarcastically, thank you Kamala for the nice picture you sent many years ago showing us your Indian family. Trump posted on Truth Social, his network, your warmth, friendship, and love of your Indian heritage, Trump went on to say, are very much appreciated right now.

Again, this goes to show just how phony Democrats are when they want to get elected, and as I pointed out yesterday’s show, that her newfound blackness is a ploy to try to win back black voters. I think it’s going to fail somewhat; I think some of it will succeed, but for the most part, Kamala Harris is not a black politician. She has black DNA in her, but she also has Chinese DNA in her, she also has Indian and that’s India DNA in her and the majority of her DNA is Indian…when you look at her family photo that she posted many years ago on social media, you can see how they were dressed in the traditional Indian garb, and she was very proud of it at the time.

There was even some reports they played in 2019 where even the mainstream media was questioning her when she was then a senator about her Indian roots and why she does not associate herself with her black roots, and at the time, she said she was very proud to be of Indian descent, and of Jamaican descent…so she kind of backed away from the black root theory that she has developed since she’s decided to be vice president and to potentially run for presidency in the past as vice president and now is running for the presidency and all of a sudden, she is 100 percent a black woman. Donald Trump was right to point that out and I’d like to talk a little bit now about the war on women.

Do you remember a few years ago when the Republicans were told that they were making a war on women by Democrats and as I predicted at the time and I believe it was back in 2012 when Mitt Romney was running for presidency, of all people, that at the time, the Democrats made him to be as bad as they’re making Donald Trump to be. It’s kind of funny when you think about it.

They followed the same game plan over and over and over again and now we see who really is waging a war on women. All you had to was watch the news about the Olympics yesterday about the boxer who’s really a man dressed as a woman who tested positive having the DNA of a man…and a high testosterone level on top of that…who defeated a woman boxer from Italy in 45 or 46 seconds. She just gave up. She threw off her helmet and said, this is ridiculous, and it is ridiculous. It’s ridiculous to think that the liberals and especially the Democrat liberals, are putting your teenage girls in harm’s way like this…they’re being forced to shower with people who say they’re women when they’re really men. Many of these girls are finding themselves being raped. High school age, underage girls are being forced to be in locker rooms with men who say they’re women. It’s just obscene. It’s obscene, and it’s just totally not right. If parents speak up against this, their child gets thrown out of school. They get an in-school suspension. They’re ridiculed by their teachers and the staff of the school.

This is the true war on women where we have teenage girls like I said, being forced to showers with males, getting raped. It’s evil, and it’s unconscionable and it’s Satan-inspired…and it should not be allowed to continue any longer. I believe that maybe Americans are waking up finally to this culture that has been like the frog in the pot of water getting hotter and hotter until it finally boils to death.

25 years ago, we were led to be convinced that it was normal to be a homosexual when just 20 years before that even a psychologist and a liberal psychology at that called homosexuality a psychological mental illness. That’s what the books all said in the 1940s, 50s, 60s, and 70s.

I remember going to my brother’s psych classes where it was taught boldly by liberal professors that homosexuality is a mental disorder. When got into the 80s when Ronald Reagan was elected president, and he was very much a moral president and stood for the moral majority and Christian values in America. All of a sudden, we were forced by the mainstream media, by Hollywood, by music, you name it, to accept that it’s a different lifestyle saying, “oh, they’re born that way, and there’s nothing that can be done about it and we need to accept them”. Then, they would go on to say that it has nothing to do with forcing you to do anything. You just have to accept them. That’s all they want to be is accepted.

I used to say to people at the time long before I had this microphone and this site, The Plain Truth, I used to tell people all the time that they don’t want acceptance…they want to be in control. They want to make their lifestyle the normal lifestyle and that the heterosexual lifestyle they really want to make illegal. They want to really condemn it. They want to say that if you’re not one of them then you’re an evil, rotten person who does not have the right to speak against them. Little by little, we have seen the water get hotter and the American public go further and further and further into the trap that homosexuality is just a choice.

It’s very easy to explain by the mainstream media that there’s nothing wrong with it but people don’t even understand that 25% of all health bills, the health care bills, and insurance rates are due to the fact that 2% of the population are homosexual and they account for about 25% of the medical care in this country because of all the diseases that they tend to carry. It’s just something that when you mention this everybody cringes and it’s not politically correct to say it. It’s no longer acceptable to actually state the facts of where your health insurance money goes to, how much dollars in the health industry goes to help homosexuals to fight the diseases that they have. They carry many, many diseases from a deviant lifestyle. The Bible agrees with it. God agrees with me.

As long as God agrees with me, I don’t care if people do not agree with me.

We used to run a website called Racerap.com. It was a racing website, and it was very, very big. I’ve mentioned this once before in this program, but it was a huge website. It was the sixth largest racing website in the world with 100,000 people a week and one or two million a month visiting the site. It was very, very big. I remember there was a controversy even in 2004 accepting the homosexual lifestyle and making homosexuals and the Boy Scouts okay. I wrote things on the Message Board on Racerap about how deviant it would be, and it would lead to pedophilia. I had people who were heterosexuals blast me and say that there is no connection between a homosexual and pedophilia. I said at the time, you are so wrong.

You are going to be so wrong. It’s going to be forced down your throats and eventually it’s going to be mandated to your children and your children are going to be the victims of this culture of war on women and war on children and a war on little boys and a war on just everything that is Christian and normal. I have been proven to be right. I’m sorry, but I have been proven to be right because now we see, the Hollywood movie started around that same time, by the way. There was a Nicole Kidman movie where her husband came back supposedly as a six-year-old boy and she was in the bathtub with him, taking a bath with him, and she was being convinced that it was her husband. Really, it was on the verge of being a pedophilia type relationship between her and her now six-year-old former husband who died and came back as a six-year-old.

That was Hollywood pushing the envelope about you accepting a deviant lifestyle that God condemns. Little by little, Hollywood got bolder and bolder and bolder. There was another movie, and I do not remember it. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it and I can’t remember her name, but she was a 12 or 13 or 14-year-old at the time and a paid assassin fell in love with her. There were all kinds of cry outs from Christian groups at the time because really it was promoting that some 50-year-old guy really had fallen in love with a 12, 13-year-old girl and he was going to make her into his wife of sorts. That movie, again, was pushing the envelope as Hollywood would call it to get Americans to accept now not just homosexuality and now to accept pedophilia. Then we had the Boy Scouts allowing now transgenders and everything else. If you were to send your kids to the Boy Scouts today, I think it’s child abuse. I also think it’s child abuse by making your daughters go in locker rooms with men who say they’re women. It’s just ridiculous. I think everybody listening to this program, I don’t care where you stand. I think if you’re honest with yourself, you’ll have to say it’s ridiculous.

The war on women was never from Republicans. As a matter of fact, if you want to see strong women look at Republican women. They’re much stronger than liberal Democratic-leaning women who are usually quite weak, quite mentally unbalanced, and easily manipulated by men…even liberal men in the Democratic Party. Why do the men, Democratic men especially, really want abortion? Because they want to be able to fool around with whoever they want to fool around with, but they don’t want to pay the consequences of pregnancy and have to pay for a child for the rest of their life because they want to have some fun and then they expect the woman to wash that child away in an abortion. That’s why the men are for it. It’s very selfish. It has nothing to do with women’s rights or the woman’s reproductive rights. It has nothing to do with it at all. It has more to do with men, liberal men especially, being selfish, having what they want, living that 1960s playboy lifestyle, and not having to pay the fiddler.

I had a program before. Do you know what the Bible and what God says happens if a man was to make a girl pregnant? He had to marry her in the Bible. He had to marry her. He had to marry her and never could divorce her for the rest of her life. He could divorce a wife that he chose on his own, but he could never divorce a woman that he had made pregnant. He would have to maintain her and her baby for the rest of their lives, or the rest of his life. If that isn’t a deterrent against fooling around with people, I don’t know what is, because you have a lot of playboys out there, especially the liberals, who are very, very, like I said, liberal bent when it comes to sexual issues, only for their own satisfaction, only for their own well-being. And they don’t give a hoot about the women that they’re sleeping with or they’re impregnating. They don’t care about anything.

They stand against women having real rights of women.

God made man and woman to be separate, but equal, but to be separate and not to be the same. In the Bible, God doesn’t even want a woman dressed like a man and dressed in man’s clothing. He says it’s abominable. Well, we don’t see a problem with that, do we? But maybe we should listen to God and not question God’s authority. Maybe God knows things we don’t know. Maybe God understands things we don’t understand.

I wanted to mention because of this thing going on in the Olympics which is getting just out of hand worldwide, this movement is getting out of hand, that the real war on women was never the Republican Party.

It’s always been the liberal Democratic Party with a few RINO Republicans in there as well who likes to play the field and have the abortions. There’s an old joke one time when Ted Kennedy was a senator and the joke went like this: his secretary came up and she said, Senator, what are you going to do about the abortion bill? Meaning, what’s he going to do about the bill in Congress about abortion? He snaps at her and he says, well, pay the damn thing. That is the essence. It may be humorous but that is the essence of the Democratic mindset. It’s all for the male’s sake. It’s like yesterday or the day before yesterday when I was talking about the billionaires and the charitable foundations that they form. It has nothing to do with helping people. It has nothing to do with anything but to make sure they don’t pay their fair share of taxes on the income that they make. They can put off and defer the taxes forever, for a hundred years even and it’s to screw the government and you hard-paying workers in America for these billionaires to have the lifestyle they want. That’s why they vote Democrat and that’s why they support the Democratic Party. They get rich off inflation.

I had a rich man tell me a long time ago which surprised me when he said he was going to vote for Dukakis as I couldn’t understand why. He said, Bob, you don’t understand…really rich people never vote Republican. We don’t do anything with our hands. We don’t invest in businesses. We invest in inflation. We want to buy things, commodities. We want to buy stocks low and sell high. We want to buy gold low and sell high. I’m in the orange juice business, and he was selling all the orange juice to Publix at the time. He says, I want to buy orange juice at 10 cents a pound and sell it at 55 cents a pound. Under Ronald Reagan, my orange juice started out at 55 cents a pound and it went to 10 cents a pound. He made his money in oil. In the oil, it was called the Bonanza oil strike in Canada. That’s where he made his hundreds of millions of dollars. He said, I was getting $18 a barrel for oil in 1979. Within two years of Ronald Reagan’s presidency, oil was at $2 or $3 a barrel and I lost hundreds of millions of dollars. So, this is why me and other rich people like me hate Republicans. They don’t want to have stagnant increases. They want and they make their money off inflation. It’s like even today, why would the Biden administration do what they’re doing and make sure that your gas bill is high, that inflation is running high? They understand inflation is high and every economist knows how to correct it. Get oil prices down, drill oil in America, oil prices will fall, shipping prices will fall, and so will the cost of food, gasoline, transportation, homeownership, you name it. Everything will fall and inflation will come to an end.

So why wouldn’t the Democrats do that if they cared about the poor people? Because their support comes from rich people who make their money off inflation, and it’s that simple. I’m sorry to say, but that’s what it’s all about.

It’s nothing like you’re being told by the mainstream media and even by people in the conservative media who for years have stood up for big business and big rich people thinking they’re part of the capitalist system, and they are not. They are not capitalists at all. They’re corporatists. They want to use their influence to have government at their beck and command. They don’t care about anybody but themselves and their pocketbooks, and that’s what it’s all about. Well, we’ve come to another week of the Plain Truth Today broadcast, and it’s Friday, and I hope that everyone has a very good and safe weekend.

Tomorrow is the Sabbath day, if you want to believe that or not, but it is the Sabbath day and one of the top 10 commandments is number four…honor the Sabbath day and keep it holy…that’s what we do here at the Plain Truth and tomorrow’s broadcast will be some type of Sabbath day broadcast which will more explain about what God says we should do in order to have a good life.

God has a plan for you to follow.

He has ways for you to follow.

He has set up laws for you to observe including the 10 commandments and many other laws and if you follow them, you will be blessed…yet not with eternal life for that comes from Jesus Christ and believing in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. You can’t buy your way to salvation, but you can have a better, more fruitful, and enjoyable, and happy, long life by following God. Specifically, God’s diet!
