Hi, Bob Barney, another edition of Friday Night Wrap-Up on The Plain Truth today, brought to you by theplaintruth.com, and I think the big story of the week, of course, is… Finally, adult in the room, Tom Homan takes over ICE, away really from Kristi Noem. They’re not saying it that way. I predict she’ll probably get a big promotion out of DHS.

In my opinion, Tom Homan should probably be the person in charge of DHS. He’s a loyalist to
the cause, and he’s not a person trying to run for president, as Christine Ohm is definitely trying
to run for president or vice president or something. And all the people really around Donald
Trump seem to have other aspirations, and their aspirations are not making Donald Trump look
good.

That’s not number one for them. They say that in these cabinet meetings, and they sit there
and they look like they’re kissing his butt, but all of them are really working for their own cause,
and Tom Homan’s not. There’s a report on Fox 9 in Minneapolis on Tom Homan and just exactly
who he is for those who do not know.

And who Tom Homan is, and Tim, he has a long track record in federal government. You know,
he really does, in fact, working for both Republican and Democratic administrations. Now, Tom
Homan was named by President Obama back in 2013 to serve as the Associate Director of ICE
for Enforcement and Removal Operations.

And when President Trump came to office during his first term in 2017, he named Homan as
the Director of ICE. And then after the 2024 election, then-President-elect Trump named Homan
to become his border czar, to be in charge of all deportations. Now, the president in social
media posts today said Tom is tough, but fair, and will report directly to me.

And at the White House press briefing today, Caroline Leavitt said that Homan is in a unique
position to drop everything and come to Minnesota. Mr. Homan is the point person for
cooperating with state and local authorities and corresponding with them, again, to achieve
this level of cooperation, to subdue the chaos on the streets of Minneapolis. And I would just
point out that Mr. Homan is someone who has been lauded for many, many decades for his
experience working in law enforcement.

In fact, this is a Washington Post headline from nine years ago, 2016. Meet the man the White
House has honored for deporting illegal immigrants. And I would remind everyone in this room
that it was former President Barack Hussein Obama who awarded a medal to Mr. Homan.
So he’s obviously very qualified. He has the full trust and faith of the president. He will continue
to have these meetings in the hopes that ICE and local law enforcement can cooperate and
work together to have successful immigration enforcement as we’ve seen in almost every other
state across the country.

Now, as for Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino, who’s become, of course, the face of the
immigration enforcement here. Today, Mrs. Leavitt said that Tom Homan would now become
the point person of contact on the ground in Minneapolis. And as for Homeland Security
Secretary Kristi Noem, Leavitt said that Noem still has the confidence and trust of the president.
That’s usually the kiss of death. But anyway, Homan is the guy. He is the adult in the room.
I said on a program a few weeks ago, what Donald Trump needs to do is surround himself with
adults in the room that care more about this country than their own personal desires and
aspirations. And that is not the case with many of the people around him. They’re all looking for
a higher cause.

I can only think right now of probably two people in this administration that is actually trying to
do what they think is right and putting their belief system ahead of their own personal gain.
The first, of course, is Robert Kennedy. Kennedy is a believer in what he’s doing, and I know
there’s a lot of controversy about him, but he is a believer in what he’s doing.
And I think many of the things he is trying to install in the CDC and the FDA and everything
under his watch is a better, healthier lifestyle for Americans. The other person, by the way, I
think is Marco Rubio. I think he’s a deep stater, to be exact.
But I also think he’s an adult in the room. He knows what he’s doing. And Trump needs more
people like that.

In the first administration, he did. And Mick Mulvaney, which you watch on News Nation, was
his chief of staff. And he’ll tell you many times he had his head in his lap after telling Donald
Trump something he did not want to hear.
But he said, you know, you take it like a man. You tell him the truth. And many times you don’t
want to hear it.
But then after he thinks a while, many times you end up winning your battles. And when you
don’t, you move on. That is what an adult in the room does.
And by the way, a side note, I am from Western Connecticut. And really, where I was from, my
area I was from was like a suburb, even though we were 80 miles away, was like a suburb of
New York City. In the summertime, our population of our small town doubled around the lake
because all the New York City wealthy people came to our town to have second homes around
the big lake, Lake Candlewood.

And so I know a lot about dealing with New York business people, which Donald Trump is. And
they are very bombastic kind of people. They shout, they yell.
And many times the only way to get their attention back is to shout and yell and use the F word
back to them. Sorry to say that, people, but that is how New Yorkers work. And if they and if you
try to kiss their butts all the time and you agree with them all the time, they don’t see that as
loyalty.

You may think they do and they may say they do. But really, they take that as weakness. And
New York business people just thrive on weak people.
They’re tough business people. There’s an old saying, if you can make it in New York City, you
can make it anywhere. And that is the case.
And that’s the type of advisors Donald Trump had in 1.0 that he needs to find again. Tom
Homan is a fantastic choice. I’m very happy.

I think you’ll still see the deportation of many illegal immigrants. But what you’re going to find
out now, they’re not going to go to the Home Depots and they’re not going to look for people
who are nannies or people working in the construction industry or mowing your lawn. What
they’re going to look for is what we voted for, in my opinion.
This is my opinion. I know what I voted for, and I think a lot of Americans, according to the
polls, agree. We voted to get rid of the terrorists, the thousands of terrorists that came over the
border when Biden had an open border policy and all of the criminal, violent, criminal, illegal
aliens.

And I’m not talking about some violent criminal that supposedly beat up his girlfriend, because
that is just simply not the violent criminals we really want to see out of here. I’m not saying
down the road we don’t want to see them out, too. We can cross that bridge when we get there.
But what we need to do now is get rid of the people who were the rapists, who were the
murderers, who were the robbers at gunpoint. And there’s probably two to three million of
them in this country right now, between your terrorists that came over from the Middle Eastern
countries and other countries around the world. And all of the insane, there’s a lot of probably
mentally insane, violent criminals, like the one that killed Kate Steinle.
Remember we talked about that in the program earlier this week. If you go back and you listen
to my broadcast then, and I talked about the hypocrisy of the left and the right, and right now
the left, and how Kate Steinle was stabbed to death by an illegal alien in front of her father on
the San Francisco wharf, I believe, and he was released from prison. He was acquitted even
though he did it.

This is the problem that you have with the liberal mindset. And I do believe we need to get rid
of those kind of people. The Democrats don’t like that either, because they like turmoil.
Remember I have a saying that I always use on the message board. It’s a heading I use for
Likewise Stories. I bunch together, and it says, Democrats hate you and want to see you dead.
And that’s the case for, if you’re a white middle-class American, white or, I mean, woman or
man, they want to see you dead or in line. And if you’re not going to be in line, they’d rather see
you removed. And like what happened, you know, in the Capitol’s so-called insurrection, when
Ashley Bobbitt was murdered by a DC cop, and the liberals loved it.
They don’t love it when it happened in Minneapolis to somebody doing the same type of stuff,
but they did love it when it was a MAGA supporter being murdered in the streets. So I have to
admit the Democrats, for the most part, are on the left now. The old-fashioned Democrat you
used to know is not there, and they want to see you dead.
I’m afraid there’s a lot of people now in the MAGA movement way over on the fascist right that
also want to see their enemies dead, and not any better. I’m sorry. But I think Homan taking
over is an absolute great thing to have happened, and I hope more to follow.
I hope we start getting really good people surrounding Donald Trump and helping him fight
this economy, fight this inflation, and fight the world, basically, because we made enemies with
the world. And maybe it can still happen. I’ll hold that hope, but I’m probably not that
convinced.

lot to do with the news. I always say, I guess I really irked one of my listeners out there, but God
is, and that was Jesus Christ walking this earth, was the greatest headline producer, newsman
ever in the business.
Now, that doesn’t make Christ down from being deity. He’s also in the pages of your Bible
called the carpenter, which is more like a construction manager or contractor or something like
that in the original, I’ve been told. I’m not sure about that, but in the Bible, He’s called the
carpenter.

Does that demote the idea that He’s God because He’s called the carpenter? Well, I don’t see it
being any more of a demotion to say you’re a newscaster, and you are a predictor of what is
going to happen in the future, unlike any newscaster, including myself, can do without at least
understanding the Bible. So, again, go to theplaintruth.com every day. Well, we’re back for the
Friday wrap-up, and the next story I’m going to get to is another one that just dominated the
week, and it’s probably going to dominate your life for a while, and that is the prices of gold,
silver, copper, platinum, and palladium.
It’s amazing. All of the minerals, all of the precious metals are going up rapidly. We are playing
show after show after show on these podcasts, as well as on the message board, mainly, but on
the Plain Truth main page as well.

We’re showing a lot of programs. We’re having a lot of articles about why the price of gold,
silver, and all these other metals are going up, and the answer is simple, because the economy
around the world, not just America, this is not just a Donald Trump thing, although I think he
has a little bit to do with it with his tariffs, but around the world, economies are collapsing, and
what central banks around the world are doing, unlike in the 1970s and 80s when they used to
sell their gold bullion, now they’re buying it every opportunity they have, and that’s going to
come back also to hurt America, because these countries like Japan, Russia, China, even our
enemies, believe it or not, even our enemies buy U.S. Treasuries, because they’re guaranteed
money rate of return, and we have the most stable currency in the world up until now. But
what’s happening, we had a few programs, and I’m going to have some more next week, we
had some programs explaining just why China, England, Europe, and Japan are not necessarily
dumping Treasury notes right now, they’re sticking by them for the most part, but they’re not
renewing them when they have the opportunity to get a U.S. Treasury or to buy a ton of gold,
they buy the gold now, and gold in Japan, in China, and I believe Russia was the story we had
out, gold now has more of their financial asset portfolio than Treasury.

If you go back 10 years ago, a country like Japan, 25 to 30 percent of all of their country’s
money, I’m talking about the state money, not people’s money, was in U.S. Treasuries, maybe
five or six percent was in gold, and the rest was in really stocks and GDP. Today, according at
least to both Peter Schiff and Ray Dalio, somewhere around 25 to 35 percent of Japan’s portfolio
is in gold bullion, and the Treasuries are still at five to 10 percent, but they’re not what they
used to be, and they’re going to continue to decline as the American dollar weakens. If you had
a choice right now, and gold is going up three percent a day for the last month, and you are
guaranteed over the next 10 years to get two percent from the United States government, what
would you choose? It’s just that simple, and gold has got a base built in it now.
It’s not going to fall below a certain level, and there’s a reason why. Every time gold goes up
drastically, like happened yesterday, yesterday morning, Thursday morning, gold went up like
$350 overnight, and the first thing that happened during the day, and I predicted this to my
wife in a text from work, I said, there’s going to be a big sell-off today of gold because people
are going to take profits who bought it a lot cheaper, and that’s exactly what happened, and
gold fell about two, three, 355, I think at the point, dollars per ounce during the day. What
happened at one, two, three o’clock? All of a sudden, you start watching the news, and gold was
down 355, then gold was down 275, then gold was down 225, then gold was down 180, then
gold was down 120, and I forgot where it ended, but it was still down a small fraction, but why
did it go down by noontime, then radically go up the other way? Well, that’s the basement in
gold prices and silver and the other metals that’s been set by central banks around the world.
They have come to the conclusion that gold is going to be, as Jamie Dimon said, is going to be
$7,500 most likely by the end of this year. That’s a clue to me that that bank is probably buying
gold as well, but it’s mainly not those kind of banks that buy the gold. It’s the central banks
around the world, but America’s Fed is not buying gold.

They should be, but they’re not. Most of Europe at this point is not buying gold. They’re still
selling their gold reserves, not very smart, but Japan, China, Russia, Iran, believe it or not, and
many of our enemies are hoarding as many tons of gold as that they can afford, and that puts a
base, a basement or a floor on the price of gold.
So gold can only really go up, and it can only go down to the point where central banks say it’s a
dip, we’re going to buy the dip, and they bring the gold right back up, and that’s what
happened yesterday afternoon. Now as this morning, gold and silver both retreated a lot, but
that’s a correction. This is the time when the central banks put in the floor, and they will buy up
gold while it’s down two or three, four hundred dollars, same with silver, and we’ll see the
action again.

Gold will be back up. It hit a high of $5,500, silver $121. That is where it will be again in two to
three or four weeks.

I still think it is very possible we could still see, especially with a major crisis, a gold run again
with a February, I still think we could be nearing $6,000 gold, and that is something that it’s
important to put in the bank, so to say. And another thing you just realize is today everyone is
running the gold, including the consumer, and so you’re seeing the consumer keep going in
these dips and buying like the central banks have done in the past, and that will continue to be
a trend, I think, in our foreseeable future. Gold is here to stay because the economy is so weak.
The news stations just do not want to report that. I think a lot of it is because of these business
channels. These people are themselves invested in the stock market, and so they do everything
they can do to talk up the stock market, and that’s at least where I think of their reasoning for
that.

It just simply seems to make sense to me. And one other point I should mention here is if you
notice in the last 15, really the last five years, people have even changed their IRAs and their
401Ks to gold-backed ones, where the gold is actually stored by companies that do your 401K
for you. You’re seeing more and more people get out of the stock market, and it will continue,
in my humble opinion.
It will continue until something changes, if ever, in this economy, worldwide economy, that is,
and I just don’t see that happening. And one last thing. Back in the Great Depression, even
when there was deflation, gold went up 75 percent, while the stock market went down 75
percent.

So just remember that the safe having, according to the God, according to your Bible, is silver
and gold. It still is to this day. We think we’re modern, but we’re not as modern as we think we
are.
Gold and silver is still what the Bible calls riches, not just property. Land is also there as well,
but gold and silver. So anyway, that’s the second story of the week that I wanted to cover, and I
think it’s quite important to watch the prices of silver and gold in the near future.
I always say that the smarter people than us that have become billionaires, every one of them
have a gold portfolio. Just think about that. Say, follow those people who, for years, have made
it rich off of gold.

They know something. Learn from their history. I’ll be right back.

There’s a story we had on the main page, and you can still find it. The title is Breaking FBI Raids
Fulton County Elections Office. And what happened was, last week, the FBI, Federal Bureau of
Investigation, executed a search warrant on the Fulton County Elections Office.
FBI agents under the leadership of Kash Patel, maybe he’s doing something good for a change,
hopefully anyway, and it happened in the town near Atlanta. And the key quote of this is they
were executing a court-authorized law enforcement action. And I think you’re going to find out,
and this is a story that’s not really getting a lot of news coverage.

It’s a bigger story, in my opinion, than the other stories that have been covered in this week.
The only one that I think outdoes this story is the Holman story and the Gold story. But other
than that, in the next few weeks, I believe you’re going to see search warrant after search
warrant issued to many places for the 2020 election.

Remember, I have some trouble with Donald Trump 2.0, but I voted for him in 2016, 2020, and
2024, and I have said on this program over and over and over again, the 2020 election was
stolen by Democrats. The reason Donald Trump won in 2024, he had 500 lawyers and
thousands of volunteers that locked down these election stations, and he didn’t get any more
votes, but he won because the didn’t get a lot of illegal votes, stolen votes, fake votes. And
that’s the real reason why you have Donald Trump president and not Kamala Harris.
The Democrats would have loved to try to do that again. They just didn’t succeed because this
time, unlike in 2020, Donald Trump’s people knew what to look out for. They had four years to
plan for all of this fraud.

I do believe there’s a lot of fraud in the 2020 election. And you know that when people like
MSNOW and CNN absolutely shout and scream, there was nothing there to see. And
unfortunately, places like Fox News wants to agree, but there was something to see.
And I think you’re going to see, and I think this is a hidden story of the week, and it’s the last
one I’m doing here, other than any late breaking thing that might come across, is the thing
you’re going to see in the next month or two is more search warrants being issued. And you’re
going to also see some convictions coming and some really big headlines of the future, not
coming from God, by the way, this is coming from my own belief. I always want to make sure
that I am not a prophet of God here.

I only read, when I tell you what God says, it’s from the Bible. God doesn’t speak with me. I’m a
news person.

I’m really a paint man who does news on the side. I have a side thing like Jesus did, I guess, but
I don’t mean to make everybody mad at me. But anyway, got to have some humor.
If you don’t have humor, you can’t face life. But there are going to be prosecutions and there
are going to be major headlines revealing that it was not small in 2020, that the election
stealing in 2020 was large and real and not fake news. Ankerberg So that’s about it for the
wrap-up, but now we go over what’s going to be this weekend.
We’re living in a lot of the Mid-Atlantic, on the coast anyway, we’re going to have what looks like
a very big nor’easter snowstorm with great accumulation of snow. I’m looking forward to
seeing my yard in some snow for a while before we get back to our place in Florida, hopefully
by February. But anyway, tomorrow is the Sabbath day.

We say this every Friday because God commands us. It’s one of the Ten Commandments. You
know, all these schools and these parents and these conservatives, supposedly, they want to
see the Ten Commandments posted in courtrooms and schools, everywhere they can think of.
They want to force the Ten Commandments to be posted, but they don’t themselves want to
follow them. They don’t want to follow the Sabbath day command. Oh, that’s been done away
with.

Well, if the law’s been done away with, why post the Ten Commandments? Hmm? Any answer
to that? No, because they’re hypocrites. Because the truth is, your theology, your ministers and
your priests, they all know that Saturday is the Sabbath. You can find article after article after
article of people admitting that the Catholic Church changed the Sabbath day into Sunday.
It is nowhere found in the Bible. And so, we do hope that people do come to the Sabbath day,
because that’s what God wants you to do. And if you do that, you will find a blessing.
And so, tomorrow’s programming, we’ll have a Sabbath show at 7-Eleven in the morning, as we
always do. And then we will have a full movie for the entertainment part of the Saturday,
Sabbath day evening at 7-Eleven p.m. We’re going to have the 1956 movie, 1984, because I kind
of think that 1984, George Orwell’s got it pretty damn close that he wrote some, what, 70 years
ago? And it just didn’t happen in 1984. It took 2024 before it fully kicked in, I guess.
But it’s been happening for a while, and it’s a great movie to watch. It’s black and white. I didn’t
put up the color version of the 1980s, and I don’t think that movie is as good as the 1956 movie.
But if anybody’s got anything to do, and they want to stream it to their TV, I’ve learned how to
do that now. So, you can take the broadcast and the video ones, especially, and stream it to
your TV, and you can watch a full-length movie on the TV. So, it’s not as hard to do.
And that is the movie 1984, and that will be tomorrow night at 7-Eleven. Remember, Monday
through Friday, we have three shows a day, 7-Eleven a.m., 7-Eleven p.m., and noontime. There
is no noontime show on Sunday or Saturday.

Saturday, we have a 7-Eleven a.m. and p.m., a religious show in the morning, and, like I said, an
entertainment show at the p.m., because a lot of people don’t even bother listening to what
we’re going to have anyway, although we’ve had more and more people watch some of the
shows I put up. I’m kind of surprised. And Wednesday night, Westerns have actually done
better than I thought.
But, and then Sunday, we have, and I have an hour program. It’s a Mark Halperin program
discussing the entire week of what happened last week, like I did on this Friday wrap-up. He
gets into other things, and his is an hour long, too.
And that will be Sunday morning at 7-Eleven a.m. Remember, you can, they’re always there. So,
once they’re posted at 7-Eleven a.m., you can listen to them all day long, or you can listen to it
the next day or the next week or the next year. They stay there in perpetuity unless something
happens to them.
And so, that’s the weekend’s schedule. I just want to give a personal note, with the snowstorm
and with other weather around the country, I hope everybody stays safe this weekend. I hope
everybody is, can come back here Monday and listen to The Plain Truth.
