Not so long ago, if a president or a political leader or a businessman or any national leader was to ask America to pray to God or even pray and fast to God for something that was important for America’s safety, it would not be considered religious. Today, if a person did it, to some, it would be considered sacrilegious. Hi, this is Bob Barney with The Plain Truth today, and I want to talk about a website.
It really has not that much to do with The Plain Truth today or theplaintruth.com, but it has to do with our cause and our news site cause of trying to save America from itself. And it is a website that was actually created by our editor, and I wanted to bring attention to it today’s broadcast. This will not be that long of a broadcast, maybe 20 minutes or so, but I wanted to go over what we are trying to accomplish with this website.
I’ve had several Plain Truth Today broadcasts about the idea that America has fallen away from God and what God wants us to do. And in fact, I think we’re actually under a curse from God because we’ve thrown God out of America. He’s not allowed in our schools.
He’s not allowed in our courthouses or our town halls. He’s basically not allowed in our churches today. And God’s word is sometimes considered illegal to be read out loud, especially in Canadaand probably some places in America.
And America has lost its way. And we have a God who blessed this country. And I think if you went back 40 years ago, most Americans would agree that God blessed this country.
But today we are in trouble. And I believe that if we do not do something as a nation, and that is to pray and to fast for the safety of this nation and the survival of this nation, I believe after the 2024 election, Americans like you and I are going to be doomed to live in a totalitarian state that you will not have your liberties. You will not have your bill of rights.
You will not have any freedom whatsoever. You will be a slave to a state that actually hates you. They hate everything about you.
If you are the average middle-class, lower-class American today, they don’t want you alive. Frankly, they want to destroy the population of the earth. It’s a plan that’s been around for 45 years to get the earth to a population of about 500 million from 8 billion.
There’s a lot of deaths. And basically everything you stand for, they hate. And like I said, the majority of these people pushing for this communist America hate you.
And they will just as soon see you if you’re not going to follow suit and fall in line and work for the government, then they want to see you dead, or they want to see you in concentration camps. And that’s the case. And so the website, which you’re going to be able to find, if you go to theplaintruth.com or the message board, it’s in both places today, you’re going to see the message board is called jeremiah3227.com. And that comes from the 32nd chapter of Jeremiah, 27th verse, but it’s found in many verses in the Old Testament.
There’s one thing about the God of the Old Testament that seems to dismay him. He just cannot believe that his people, who saw miracle after miracle of Red Sea being parted, of the Egyptians, think of the greatest power on earth destroyed by their God in a moment instant in the Red Sea. This God cannot understand why the people that he calls to be his own, his own nation of Israel, just can’t believe that he is all powerful.
And over and over again, and I mentioned this a lot, God says, is there anything too hard for me, the Lord to do or to me to do? Is there anything too hard for the Lord to do? And he’s bewildered. He’s mystified. He’s hurt, basically, because we do not treat the God who made this country what it is today with any respect, even those who call themselves Christians.
We have allowed the woke mainstream world around us to influence us, to quiet us, to silence us into submission and keeping Christ and God and so-called religion out of our government, out of our being, out of everything about us, which was unheard of just 100 years ago, even 50 years ago. And so this website, jeremiah3227.com, which you can get the direct link right from theplaintruth.com or the message board, or you can just type in http://www.jeremiah3227.com and you’ll get there. Since most people are listening to this on the podcast, it’s easy to go right back to the Plain Truth, and the link’s right there.
You don’t have to remember anything but just to go back and click on it. And what it’s asking you to do is it’s asking you to be counted so God can see that you are among those who cry and weep, mourn and fast and pray for the ills of this country, and that you want to see this country blessed again by God and not cursed. When you open up the page, you’ll read the statement, America is in trouble.
Will you stand up and be counted? Did you know that God has called us to do so against evil and that he even put his mark on his children? You can find that, by the way, in Ezekiel chapter 8. Everyone therefore who acknowledged me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven. But whoever denies me before others, I will also deny before my Father in heaven. That’s in Matthew.
That’s the Lord Jesus Christ talking. Who is, by the way, the God of the Old Testament that spoke to Adam and Eve, to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, David, who came to the prophets? You know, this is something that most, even Christians, do not understand. That most of the time, all the time, because we find out from Jesus’ first person read in the New Testament when he said that no person, no man, has ever seen God the Father at any time nor heard his voice.
Then who did Abraham talk to? Who was Abraham’s best friend? Who was the friend of Abraham that made our nation what it is today because his friendship with Abraham? Who is the God that appeared to Moses? Who’s the God that called David a man after my own heart? Who’s the God that ordered millions, at least thousands, maybe millions of people killed in a great flood? Women, children, all animals, except what was on the ark. Who is the God that told the Israelites as they entered into the promised land of Palestine, Canaan? Who’s the one that told them, I want you to utterly destroy every man, woman, and child, and even their cattle, and sheep, and goats. Do not keep anything.
Destroy it all. Well, people think that’s God, that mean old God the Father. Good gosh, he was a real mean God in the Old Testament, and Christ came along and was the nice God.
He was the younger guy. He was the more hip guy, and he understood human conditions, and he wasn’t like that father God of the Old Testament. Well, I got news for you.
The God of the Old Testament, as Jesus says so himself, is Jesus Christ. The God who ordered the of women, and children, and animals, and goats, was none other than the God who in human form became Jesus Christ, entered into the womb of a virgin, and was born to die, to take away our sins, and to justify us to have eternal life someday if we obey him. And this same God, Jesus of the New Testament, is the God of the Old Testament who says, is there anything too hard for the Lord to do? Is there anything too hard for Jesus to do, is what we would say today, because he is the Lord of the Old Testament.
God says in the Old Testament, my people who are called by my name, that’s us folks. If they come to me in prayer, I will heal their nation and forgive their sins, but we have to come to him. Unfortunately today, most Christians believe that all you have to do is worship Jesus, and believe in Jesus, and you are saved.
Well, that’s an absolute lie. The devil knows Jesus, and he believes in Jesus, but he’s still the devil. What does he do? He doesn’t obey Jesus, or obey the law.
The God of the Old Testament who wrote the Ten Commandments with his own finger is none other than the God who became a person called Jesus Christ. The God who tells us that we are to be righteous and obey the law that he wrote with his own finger is Jesus Christ, and he says in Chronicles 2.14, I’m sorry, 7.14, 2 Chronicles 7.14, if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, pray, and I’ll put in fast, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will heal, hear them from heaven, and I will forgive their sin, and I will heal their land. And I say to you, is there anything too hard for this God to do? No.
God can heal our land. He can change the course of where we’re going, and friends, we are going down a bad road that is going to lead to disaster for you personally, for your children, for your grandchildren, and if you’re old enough, for your great-grandchildren. There has never been a time in American history, maybe even the Civil War, where America was on the verge of total collapse and in respect losing their citizenship as a free people, and then become slaves to the state that all communist nations expect from their useless idiots is to become their slaves of thestate, and that’s what’s before us.
So we need to come together, and the day is going to be June 14th, by the way. This June 14th, and you go to the website, again jeremiah3227.com, you go to the website, and you’ll see that on that day, that site, and I’m asking you personally to pray to God, the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, the two gods make up the Godhead, pray to them, and ask for our salvation, ask for the forgiveness of our country, who in recent years have become a lawless nation, a lawless nation that refuses to follow the will of the Father and the Son in heaven. We do not follow his laws, we do not follow his edicts, we do not follow his Ten Commandments, and the penalty for all of this is a national destruction that’s upon us.
If we do not change our ways and go to God in prayer and humble ourselves, we are going to bedestroyed, we are going to go into captivity, which is foretold in a future date that’s going to happen to this nation, but maybe we can forestall it, because God, read the book of Jonah, God’s mind can be changed when people go to him humbly in prayer and fasting and ask forforgiveness. God forgave the city of Nineveh. Jesus even went back to say that the people ofNineveh would judge this nation, meaning at the time the Jewish nation of Judah, and find it guilty.
The people of Nineveh who turned from their evil ways when the prophet Jonah came to them and told them to repent. Jonah didn’t really want them to repent, he wanted to see them destroyed and was mad at God when God didn’t destroy them, but God said to Jonah, these people are like wild animals, they don’t know right from wrong, but they came to me and I forgave them. This is what your mission was, and I’m happy to be able to be a God of love and turn these people away from their evil ways.
Well, we need to turn our ways from evil to good. There are a lot of good people in America. I do not believe at this date that America has more than 50 percent of its population that want communism, that want God out of our life.
I do not believe that yet. I believe there are 150 million Americans or more who sincerely believe in God and the God of the Bible, and I believe that if just 25 million, 35 million of these people were to collectively pray on June 14th for the salvation of this country away from the communist evil that is going to befall us, then I think God will hear from heaven and heal this nation and forgive us our sins, and we will continue until the majority of this population someday will become evil and lawless, and God will let us go into captivity as he did ancient Israel and ancient Judah. There is a history lesson to be taught here.
It’s not a religious lesson. It’s a history lesson. This is past news.
Israel and Judah were sold into slavery, captured, and taken away because of their lawlessness against God’s laws, and we are following that way today, and if we do not change it, we will end up like they did, and it’s not a pretty sight. It’s not a pretty sight what is our future if we cannot go to God, the God who says there’s nothing too hard for him to do, and in prayer and fasting and humble ourselves, admit our sins, admit the sins of this nation, that we murder unborn children in the and we call it Planned Parenthood when it’s murder, that we rob, steal, commit adultery, break every of the Ten Commandments, and no longer have any shame to do so. It’s terrible, and if you don’t see it being terrible, then you’re part of the problem, but I think there are 35, 25, 50, maybe 100 million Americans who agree with me today that this country is on the verge of collapse, and if you just do something about it, I’m not asking you to go to a January 6th type demonstration.
I’m not asking you to go to the town hall. You’re just going to get carried off and arrested anyway. I’m not asking you to do anything.
I’m not asking you to try to change some politician’s mind. I’m not asking you to do that. I’m not asking you to go out and go door to door and knock and help a candidate get elected.
All of that is fine, I guess, but that’s not going to necessarily work because I don’t believe it will. There’s only one thing that’s going to help America, and that’s God, who can make anything happen because nothing’s too important or impossible for Him to do. God can make anything happen.
So the best thing that you and I can do is not try to do something ourselves this time, but to humble ourselves. Go to God in prayer. We don’t have to meet in great assemblies if we don’t want to, but if we do want to and be together with other people in parks and open areas, that’s fine as well.
But you can stay home. It doesn’t matter that your neighbor knows you’re doing it. It matters that God knows you’re doing it, and God can do the head count.
God will know every single person to the one person. If there’s 58,927,000 people, He’s going to know there’s 58,927,000 people. He’s going to know the exact count, and no reporter, no news agency, no plaintruth.com is going to know the true number, but God the Father and God Jesus Christ will know that number.
So all you need to do, the most powerful weapon you have at your command is, again, nothing that you yourself can do other than pray. And then the most powerful two beings in the universe who make up what we call God will come to our defense, will heal this nation of its wounds, and will put the right people back in charge and put America back where it belongs, blessed by God and the leader of the world, and not the follower of evil. So again, I’m asking everyone, you can find this from the plaintruth.com and from the message board, but I think when this broadcast, we will have the link to it under the broadcast.
I will make sure that happens. And go to the website, call jeremiah3227.com, read what it’s about. Not very much to read there.
It’s asking you to set aside June 14th as a day of fasting and prayer, and to tell 10 other people about it. And if 10 people, tell 10 people and 10 people each, and it’s going to magnify how many people know about it. In a very little time, you could have 100, 150 million people on board with this, just by you telling 10 other people and them telling 10 other people.
You know, when I was a child one time, I was offered, would I rather have a million dollars or a penny a day doubled for a month of March? And of course, being smart like I thought I was, I said, I’d rather have the million dollars. I don’t want a penny a day doubled. Well, I gave you, do something on your calculator.
Take one penny. So March 1st, you do a penny. March 2nd is two pennies.
March 3rd is four pennies. March 4th is eight pennies. March 5th is 16 pennies.
March 6th, 7th, I’m sorry, is 32 pennies. Go to March 31st and see how many pennies you got. And you’re going to find out that million dollars wasn’t that great after all.
Try that on your own. When we get off here, take a penny and do as I say on a calculator, keep doubling it 31 times and see how many dollars you will have. And that’s what I’m saying.
If you tell 10 people and they tell 10 people to go to this website, we could have a hundred million people more than ever will go to the Plain Truth. We can have a hundred million people go to that website and maybe 50 million of them will fast and pray. Now, one thing that’s important, God says, the God of the Old Testament is Jesus Christ.
God says he desires obedience rather than sacrifice. If you’re old and you know, a true fast, let me just make this clear. A true fast is at least 24 hours of having no water and no food whatsoever.
When Jesus fasted for 40 days and 40 nights, believe it or not, miraculously, he had no water and he had no food. And I understand, and God is a forgiving God, and God knows there are people who cannot go without water. They may have health conditions, they may be elderly.
And so if you have to have water during your fast, by all means, have water. If you’re a diabetic and you have to have some kind of a food or some kind of a thing to keep you from going into insulin shock or diabetic coma, of course, eat something. Try to fast, but the prayer is more important than the fast.
The fast is just trying to show God your willingness. If you’re young and you can fast or you’re in good health and you can fast, please add that. But God wants you to be obedient to him more than your sacrifice.
The sacrifice, God doesn’t need your sacrifice. God doesn’t need your fast. He wants to see you like Abraham willing to sacrifice his son on the altar.
God sat back to see if Abraham was going to do it. And when he saw that he would do it to obey God, he stopped him and said, Abraham, do not harm the child. And he provided another lamb to take the place of that child.
And that lamb was Jesus Christ himself. He died for us all. And that should be touching to us that he loves us that much.
