Hi, Bob Birney with The Plain Truth today, brought to you by ThePlainTruth.com. It’s Friday, so it’s Friday wrap-up time, and the on-again, off-again Iran-American war is on again. I just don’t know. There’s not much I’m going to say about it.

We’ve been bombing them. They’ve been bombing our bases back. Everything’s the way it was before.

Don’t see any changes. I actually am doing this show Thursday night and not Friday afternoon,like I usually do, because frankly, I do have a real job, which is the paint business I talk about a lot. We had a sale last week for the 4th of July, a major sale.

I have been very, very busy this whole week, and it’s been hard to do the shows that I’ve done. I have some time tonight, so I’m doing it Thursday night. If all hell breaks loose tomorrow, by the time you hear this Friday evening, it’ll be old news, but you never know what’s going to happen there.

All I know is we’ve lost that war, and it’s a shame because there’s not a reason we should have lost that war. It was poor planning from the beginning. I’ve mentioned that all along.

It just continues to be poor planning all along, and I’m afraid that it’s going to continue. There is just no adults in the room, I’ve said this from day one, that is advising Donald Trump of anything different than what he’s doing. It’s a crying shame, to be honest, because we could have planned this war and done a better job.

What we should have done from day one, we should have took out the leaders when that was done. That I have no problem with, and I think that was the right operation. But continuing just to bomb all the infrastructure of Iran without doing something in the Straits first was just piss poor planning.

What should have been done, in my humble opinion, I’m not a military expert, but I do listen to a lot. I do listen to a lot on YouTube and different military people on TV. And the first thing they should have done was, yes, take out those leaders to get rid of them, number one, to try to get a regime change.

Number two, they should have took Kharag Island, they should have taken control of the oil right from get-go, they should have put boots on the ground and taken out all of the missile defenses on that coast of Iran. They would not have sent missiles into their own place there and destroyed their infrastructure and their own oil wells because that would be an end to their kingdom. That would be an end to their fascist government that they really are.

So that was what the plan should have been. We should have taken that Kharag Island over and all of the surrounding south, I guess you would have to say, southeast Iran. We don’t need Tehran.

We don’t need all that infrastructure. We didn’t need all that bombing. What we did do needed was the oil facilities and also all of that southeast corridor of Iran where they launched all of their missiles and their drones from to the harbor and to knock out shipping lanes.

If we had controlled those shipping lanes, Saudi Arabia right now would not be our enemy. And they are, by the way, more so now than they were ever under Biden and they hated Biden. Same with UAE, same as Kuwait, to a lesser degree, same as Iraq.

And all of this was because we did not plan to take over a military target that needed to be under our control, under our soldiers with boots on the ground. And unfortunately, this president was led to believe in his own arrogance, allowed it to happen after the Venezuela affair. This president was led to believe that this would be a two-week operation.

And if you remember right, the night we launched the attack and the night that the Ayatollah and all these other people were killed, the very next day, Trump was on TV in interviews, and you can go back and look at this on YouTube, saying this was going to be less than a two-week war. The country was going to collapse, there would be a major uprising, and there would be a regime change. Now he’s walking that back and said he never said that.

And we have a president now who just lies and lies and lies. And honestly, nobody’s holding him accountable. They’re not.

I mean, you just look at previous statements. How many times have you heard there’s a peacetreaty and it’s going to happen within a few days? That was said on day seven. Day seven of this war, Trump was saying that we have made a peace treaty that they agreed to, and it would be any day that it would be signed.

And we heard that going on three months. And Wall Street listened to every word he said and believed every word he said. And you could see Wall Street being manipulated up and down, up and down.

Same thing with the oil futures. And I’m telling you, I think a lot of money was made by people within the White House. To me, it’s treason, if that’s the case.

If people made money off the backs of American soldiers and off the deaths of 14 of them, and who knows how many is wounded, because that’s been held quite classified. We don’t really know how many were wounded in this war so far, but I think it’s going to be a lot more than what people think. And we’ve had a press in America that simply is not covering the real plain truth here.

I have to go to India, I have to go to England, I have to go to Europe, and I, peace sakes, I have to go to the Moscow Times, which is anti-Putin. It’s not Pravda, just to let you know. If you read the Moscow Times, it’s obviously not printed in Moscow, because they would be shot and killed, because it’s a very anti-Putin news site.

But you have to go overseas to really find out what is going on. That should bother everybody, it really should. And the American press has gone to sleep over this war.

And I think possibly, just possibly, that the reason is because, again, the military-industrial complex is getting rich. People making drones are getting rich, people making bombs are getting rich, people selling F-35s to Turkey. Bad move on Trump’s part.

We’re going to sell F-35 advanced modern jets to Turkey, a so-called NATO ally, who should not even be in NATO, by the way. We’re going to sell them F-35 jets to a nation who actively supports Hamas and Hezbollah. Think about that.

They actually support a nation, or not a nation, a movement, Hamas, for example, and Hezbollah, they are not a nation, that vows the destruction of Israel, our only true ally in the region. And I’m not pro-Israel like people think. I don’t think, I’m a realist, and I realize that Israel has done a lot of bad things and bad things to America.

But that said, Israel is still the best ally we have and the best intelligence, and I’ve said this in a previous Friday wrap-up, the best intelligence we get out of the Middle East comes from Israel’s Mossad. So that’s about all I can say about this war. I just think it’s going to continue.

We’re still going to have oil fluctuating all over the place. Meanwhile, this president is not tackling the problems of the average American citizen out there, which is the price of gas, the price of food, the price of mortgages, the price of insurance, just the cost of living. And just the other day in the news conference from Turkey at the NATO meeting, he actually says that it’s fake news to report that this is not the best economy in American history.

Well, I don’t know how many people are listening to me. I would say most people listening to me are not the billionaires getting rich. I don’t think they bother listening to the plain truth anyway.

But I’ll tell you right now, I think everybody listening to me knows this is not the best economy in the history of America. It’s a lie. And to call that anyone who brings that subject up, that they’re spreading fake news, and this administration is trying to remove the FCC license from ABC because they are promoting fake news about our great economy that they say is bad.

And everybody knows this is a bad economy. It has not been the economy he promised when he was running against Biden at first, and then Harris later, who had a terrible economy. The Democrats destroyed this economy.

His first term, he had a great economy, but the Democrats destroyed this economy. And everybody, including myself, thought that Donald Trump was going to be like the first time around, he was going to laser focus on American businesses, especially American small businesses, the American worker, and the middle class. And that’s been the last thing he’s worried about.

In fact, I mean, you have quotes from him. He says, I’m not worried about inflation. I don’t care about it.

It’s not important. Well, you know what? It’s important to a lot of people out there, including you and me, I guarantee you, when you go to buy gas or you go look at, we went food shopping, my wife and I just the other day, and the prices are just out of this world, out of this world compared to what they were just a year ago under Biden. I’ll be right back.

We have a thing on the message board, a whole string, and it says election 2026. And we put every story. We might have the stories up separately, but by the end of the week, I always put all the 2026 election-type stories on the message board under that string, so you can, from one area, go through all the election news.

And of course, this week, the whole election news was not about the communists running. Well, maybe it is, because this guy Plattner was one. But anyway, the Democrats got to oust their Nazi communist main Senate candidate out of the picture by bringing up, most likely, I really do believethis, a bogus rape charge by an ex-girlfriend.

It’s always convenient, right at an election time, when all of a sudden these women come out of nowhere to accuse. Now, it may be true. I mean, this guy is not an old friend of mine, and he does not have a good history with women.

But the Democrat Party, and that would be who’s behind this, because the Democrats, I mean, I listened to James Carville the other week on TV, and he was saying he wants nothing to do with this guy. The guy is not a Democrat. And if he was to get the nomination, he would support the Democrats to withdraw all financial support and let Susan Collins win.

That was from a leading theologian of the Democratic Party, put Bill Clinton in office. And so I think that when the Democrats want to get dirt on somebody, they make it up. They did it with everybody you can think of.

They did it with Mitt Romney. They did it with Herman Cain. Do you remember that? That was totally bogus.

And they’ve done it just forever. They did it with even the Stormy Daniel things with Donald Trump was made up. It didn’t happen, most likely.

And I’m not giving Trump a pass that he was a coyer boy. I don’t think she was his type. And I think, again, she was a Democrat plant in order just conveniently come up before the election.

And it was used for an impeachment because he paid her off, which all high-profile people usually settle out of court to every charge against them, true or false. It’s just what you do. You make them settle an agreement.

You pay him some money, hush money. I remember a story of a car dealer that I used to sell paint to. And it was a large one in this area, one of the largest in the country, as a matter of fact.

And the service director was telling me one time that there was this lawyer, this black lawyer in Newport News that made a living suing this car dealership for discrimination. He would purposely send in blacks that had no credit whatsoever to apply for a car loan. Of course, they were turned down.

And then he would sue this car dealership for discrimination, knowing that the owner of the dealership, who was a very rich man, would always settle out of court. And so he made a living doing nonsense lawsuits. This stuff should stop.

We should outlaw this from happening. To me, it’s a crime. But anyway, I think it’s what even happened here.

But I’m glad the guy’s gone. Well, I don’t think the Republicans are glad the guy’s gone, only because you have to admit that Susan Collins, I think, would easily have beat him. And maybe somebody they put in now will be a little more of a problem for her to try to defeat.

But one of the things I just wanted to mention, that’s the only reason I brought this up, was until this latest rape charge. And notice Bernie Sanders didn’t say anything for three days. He was hoping this whole deal would go away, should have known better.

They did the same thing to him in a different way. But the Democrats are always willing to accept anybody if they’re going to win in their party. I don’t care if the person is an anti-Semite, if he’s a racist, if he’s a racist even against Blacks.

They don’t care if they think he can win and push through their communist agenda. And that’swhat the Democratic Party is and has become in the last 20 years, especially starting with BarackObama. It’s become a communist party.

You can deny that fact. I know Chris Cuomo on his show tries to deny it, but it’s been what they were. And Bernie Sanders was a little too much of a communist for him in 2016 and 2020.

And they ruined him, the powers that be within the Democratic Party. And they stole the nomination away from him, one time for Hillary, the second time for Biden, because they wanted a more mainstream person and not a avowed communist, because they know that a lot of part of this country, that they depend on that white middle-class union vote. That used to be important to them.

I don’t think it is as much now. They knew they would fly to the Republican Party if they had people like Bernie Sanders or this guy here. So we’ll have to see who replaces it.

But the election 2026 still, in my opinion, is for the Democrats to lose. I think they should win the house handily by many votes. And they have a very good shot of winning the Senate, even by losing, looks like they probably might lose Maine, but maybe getting rid of this guy, they might save Maine if they put a good candidate up in Maine.

However, the only reason the Democrats will not take the house, in my humble opinion, is because they are so far off to the left. They are so far in the communist bootcamp that I think so many Americans who normally would not vote for the Republican party in charge, because the Republicans control everything. They control the house, the Senate, the presidency, and the Supreme Court.

I can’t see a lot of people wanting to vote for I’m sorry, for the Republican. But in this case, I think they’re gonna like they did in 2024 and hold their nose that voted for Donald Trump. Because I know a lot of people that told me at the time they were going to vote for Donald Trump because they could not vote for Kamala Harris.

And they did think that he didn’t have a bad presidency the first time around. But they didn’t like him. They didn’t like his arrogance.

They didn’t like his cattiness like an old woman. And I heard that all time and time again of a lot of people that voted for him held their nose. Well, I think that’s going to happen this November.

If the Democrats don’t get control of their party and get these communist underfoot for a while, they may be a communist party, but they do not want you to know that. And when people like AOC and Bernie Sanders and this Platner person comes out and basically admits they’re communist, that kind of hurts the Democrats lying capability to the American people who will not vote for communists. It’s that simple.

I will say if Donald Trump honestly was a Democrat running or being present day president and he was a Democrat, the Democrats would actually love him. He is more like a leftist Democratic candidate like Obama was than any Republican in my lifetime. He’s certainly nothing like Ronald Reagan.

He’s not like the Bushes, and that might be a compliment. But the idea he wants to control everything, he wants the government to be involved in all these private businesses, that is socialism, downright communism. And like I said, if he was a Democrat, the Democrats wouldn’t care how many women he raped or not, or how many women in affairs he had, because that’s a Democrat thing.

Look at Ted Kennedy. I mean, there’s a guy that, well, I won’t get into that here, but they wouldforgive anything Donald Trump did if he was a Democrat. It’s like Richard Nixon.

Richard Nixon actually would be a president that most Democrats would love if they didn’t know he was a Republican, and they would make all kinds of excuses for him if he wasn’t. He started the EPA. He started OSHA.

He did wage and price controls, big Democrat policy. He was against capitalism. He basically took us off the dollar, off the gold standard.

He did all kinds of things you can imagine that the Democrats normally would love. But two things did him in. Well, actually three things did him in.

I’m probably going to do a show on this next week, and I’ll tell you the three things after this brief word about the plain truth, the three things he did wrong. And we’re back, and what I wanted to say about Richard Nixon, the three fatal things that he did that did him in with the Democratic Party, they could have stomached him with all of his liberal policies he was doing, was number one, he was a rabid anti-communist from the 1940s, and he put Alger Hiss in jail. And that really turned off the Communist Party that became the Democratic Party. And that was the number one thing he did wrong.

The number two thing he did wrong was that he was a Republican. As simple as that. If you’re a Republican, no matter if you do every Democratic Party ideal, if Bernie Sanders changed parties and become a Republican tomorrow, he would be demonized by this press.

The press that loves him dearly would absolutely demonize him if he became a Republican. And that was the second fatal mistake that Richard Nixon had rolled around his neck, was that he was a Republican and not a Democrat. Look what they put up with Lyndon Baines Johnson, for pity sakes.

The man who lost all these people in Vietnam and couldn’t find a way out of it. Richard Nixon promised to get us out of Vietnam, and he did it. People don’t like the way he did it, maybe, but he did it, and he did it.

And no other president did it before him. They all got us deeper and deeper and deeper, and he got us out. And if he wasn’t removed from office, I don’t think Vietnam would have ended up like it is today, in my humble opinion.

But that was his third fatal mistake. Like I said, we’ll get into that next week. The third fatal mistake that ended the Nixon presidency was ending the Vietnam War and ending the military-industrial complex’s billion-dollar scam of the American people to fight this war.

And they got rich off the deaths of 59,000 Americans by selling arms to the teeth for a war we had no intentions of winning. Like I said, I’m going to have a story about that, I hope, next week. I’ve done some research.

But I want to get in now to what’s going to be this weekend’s shows. And I’m going to start with the 7-11 p.m. entertainment show first, because before I get into what’s going to be the Sabbath show, because then we’re going to end up talking about the Sabbath as it is. But the 7-11 p.m. show is a murder radio mystery from 1949.

It’s called Murder at Midnight. That was the name of the series out of New York. And the particular story is the man who died yesterday.

And like I said, it’s an old-time tale of suspense and macabre and also a lot of the supernatural twist to everything, a little bit of the occult and the twist and stuff like that. It’s a good horror-typeshow to listen to. I was going to do my morning prayer before I go to work.

I go to a park. And I started listening to this on the way. It’s about a half-hour show.

And it’s about a 20-minute drive. And I got to where it was so intriguing to listen to. I sat at the park and listened to the last nine minutes of the show.

And I said, this is going to be Saturday’s entertainment show. This was really well done. And like I said, it’s from 1949.

It’s a man who plots to poison and get rid of his wife because she won’t give him a divorce. And then there is a man who starts following him. And he don’t know who that is.

And that begins the whole plot of this story. And it’s very intriguing to say the least. And I hope you listen to that.

It’s nowhere taught in the Bible. It’s nowhere even believed to be taught in the Bible. And in fact, every single church who follows a Sunday day of worship will tell you, their scholars, their theologians will tell you that it is not found anywhere in the Bible.

It was done by the Catholic Church and even the Protestant churches who claim to have removed themselves from the Catholic Church because they were more, they wanted to protest. That’s where you get Protestant from. They wanted to protest the Catholic Church.

They accepted all the Catholic Church pagan doctrines like Christmas, Easter, Halloween, and Sunday worship. Because any one of those theologians, and we have it on the Plain Truth message board, as well as the main page of the Plain Truth, you can research it from theplaintruth.com. And you can see, we had an article up of every major theologian of every single denomination you can think of, all admitting that they’re nowhere in Scripture gives the person a right to obliterate or do away with the Sabbath day. As a matter of fact, every single, including the Catholic Church that made it, they will tell you that the Sabbath day is Saturday, but a pope had the right because he’s Christ on earth, that is their belief, that when a pope becomes pope, Christ lives in him, and every decision he makes therefore is infallible.

Did you know that? I bet you didn’t, unless you’re a Catholic, of course, but if you’re a Protestant, you probably don’t even know that. Well, that’s how we come to Sunday instead of the Sabbath day, which is tomorrow. So tomorrow’s Sabbath show, it’s about an hour long.

It’s a little longer than most, but it’s very fascinating. If you were to sit down by the pool or by the porch, instead of listening to a baseball game, turn this on, you would be, I think, well entertained. It’s called King David Like You Never Heard, and it’s the real story of King David, the hero of the Bible, warts and all, because there’s a lot of warts on King David, but he still was called a man after God’s own heart.

He’s a man who wanted a woman so bad, he made sure her husband was killed in battle. Pretty damn bad when you think about that, right? And then their son, not the first one that was killed because of the adultery, but later their son Solomon becomes the great king that followed David and came from Bathsheba, that famous story. And so you’re going to learn about King David froma young boy who fought lions bravely, who killed Goliath, and who became king of Israel, and whowill become king of Israel again when Jesus Christ returns and sets up his millennial kingdom.

The person who’s going to reign over Israel is going to be King David. The person who reigns over the whole world is going to be Jesus Christ. And so tomorrow, King David Like You Never Heard.

It’s a fascinating lesson. I hope you all listen to it. And I hope that everyone begins to adopt the Sabbath day and realizes it’s the only day, if you’re going to believe the Bible and you’re going to follow what God wants you to do, it’s the only day you’re supposed to follow and worship God.

God did not authorize Sunday, the Lord’s day. That’s Satan’s day. Hate to tell you that, but you go to church on Sunday, you’re honoring the Son of God, Satan, not Jesus Christ, the Son of God,who also is God.
