• Hi, Bob Barney with The Plain Truth Today, brought to you by theplaintruth.com. We’re going to get into something that I believe is for our day. 
• It’s my opinion, not being told by God about this, but I want to get into some of the prophecies of what we call, or many people call, the Old Testament, I call part of the Scripture, and it’s as important to the Bible as the New Testament which many people just ignore. But I think many, and I’ve said this for
• 10:31a long time, it’s a part of this show, God is the news. This is a news broadcast. I’m not an evangelist, I’m not a church trying to build an audience. I am basically, in my real life, a paint man who manufactures I am basically in my real life a paint man who manufactures paint, but in my spare time I’m a newsman. I have been a news junkie my whole life, and this show is to show people that I want to listen that there is a God. It is the God of the Bible, and it’s a God who’s given us a
• 11:02message through that Bible for our day. Too many people think, and I think too many people who believe in God think that the Bible was written a long time ago, and it has nothing to do with our day. But I think when I tell people that a lot of the Bible, some people say up to two-thirds of the prophecies of the Bible have not yet occurred, and yet the Bible is as timely for our day as it is for the day it was written. And I’m gonna go to a very minor prophet that probably nobody reads at all, even those who read the Bible a lot. They may have read it a few times
• 11:39but don’t even remember what’s in it. And I’m hoping I pronounce the name right, but it’s called Habakkuk. And you find that in the minor prophets in the Old Testament. In my Bible, or I should say the plain truth Bible in the original order, there’s a different order of the minor prophets than what you find in the standard Bibles that you buy in the store today, because the Bible that you buy in the store today is not in the original order that it’s supposed to be presented in,
• 12:09the same order that Jesus and his disciples read the Bible in. The modern Bibles that you buy, the Old Testament especially, is in not the right order at all. And if you can do any research, you can find out without even buying the plain truth Bible, you can find out the real order of the Old Testament. And it is nothing like we know. And there is not, for example, a first and second Kings. There is the book of Kings. There is the book of Chronicles.
• 12:40There is the book of the Minor Prophets. The 12 books that we have in our Bible is really one book in the Bible that was read by Jesus Christ in the Septuagint, I hope I pronounced that right, the Greek version of the Bible. And it should be noted that there is, to me no Mystery that the modern books of the Bible if you add up the King James version of the Bible the Living Bible all of the Bibles with their books and the separate names of the books you will find there are
• 13:1866 books to the Bible and I find 66 is the number of a man, 666 is the number of an evil man, the Antichrist, but the original order of the Bible has That’s not the, I think, 38 or whatever it’s in the King James Version, that they broke into books. There are 27 books of the Old Testament and there’s 22 books of the New Testament, equaling 49 books completion. Seven times seven is total completion. But I want to get into Habakkuk and I’m going to read some Scripture out of here and tell me if this happened long ago, or could this apply to you and
• 14:07your understanding of the news today? So Habakkuk has a complaint, and that’s what starts off his minor prophecy that is found in the book of the Minor Prophets. How long, O Lord, must I call for help, but you do not listen. Violence is everywhere. Must I forever see the evil deeds? Why must I watch all this misery? Wherever I
• 14:31look, I see destruction and violence. I’m surrounded by people who love to argue and fight. The law has become paralyzed, and there is no justice in the land or in the courts. The wicked far outnumber the righteous and Justice has become perverted. Does that sound pretty accurate? Now God’s answer to this is pretty amazing too and tell me if this does not sound like it’s more modern than ancient Look around the nations look and be, for I am doing something in your
• 15:05own day, something you will never believe, even if someone told you about it. I’m raising up the Babylonians, a cruel and violent people. They will march across the world and conquer other lands. They are notorious for their cruelty and whatever they do, they do whatever they like, and their horses are swifter than cheetahs and
• 25:32They’re as fierce as wolves their chariots charged from far away like Eagles. They swoop to devour their prey
• 15:35Then he goes on To answer this and he goes the Lord said to me write my answer plainly on tablets So that a runner can carry the correct message to others. Shows me, by the way, he’s telling this prophet to write it down because of this reason. It is not for his day, it is for the time of the end, and you’re going to see this in a second here. This vision is for a future time. This is God speaking, this is in red. This is Jesus Christ, by the way, who is the Lord Yahweh of the Old Testament, and he’s speaking here to this prophet, and he’s
• 16:08saying, this vision is for a future time, it describes the end time, and it will be fulfilled. It seems slow in coming, so wait patiently. Does it not seem slow? I think if you’re like me, you see this stuff go on and on and on around us, and we say, when is God going to take action? For it shall surely take place, and it will not be delayed. Look at the proud. They trust in themselves, but their lives are crooked. But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God.
• 16:43Wealth is treacherous, and the arrogant never is at rest. They open their mouths as wide as the grave, and like death they are never satisfied. In their greed they have gathered up many nations and swallowed up many people. But soon their captives will taunt them.” And what he’s saying here is something that I know my brother and I talk about a lot when we discuss things, that the people today, the rich billionaires of today, the American leaders and the leaders of the Western Europe, and many of the people that have all the power
• 17:17today are going to someday, before the time of the end, be the ones that are victims of their own greed, because there are going to come up other people who do not know them, who do not respect them, who are going to slaughter them. Do you think when America is overthrown and taken into captivity, which is going to happen by a foreign leader out of Europe, and Europe is going to dominate the United States before the time of the end. Do you think that they’re going to treat people like
• 17:47Barack Obama or the Bushes or Donald Trump or any Elon Musk, you think you’re going to show them respect or do you think they’re going to do what happened to the kings of the Old Testament? They’re going to gouge out their eyes, they’re going to torture them, they’re going to kill their children in front of their eyes, and it’ll be the last thing they see before their eyes are cut out. This is what God says is going to happen to our leaders, our evil leaders, who actually
• 18:14are going to deserve what they get. And he goes on, and he goes, their captors will taunt them, and they will mock them, saying, what sorrows await you, thieves! Now you will get what you richly deserve. Suddenly your debtors will take action.
• 18:31They will turn on you and take everything away from you that you love, because you have plundered many nations, you have committed murder throughout the countryside, and filled the towns with violence. What sorrow awaits you who build these big houses with money that you’ve gained dishonestly. You believe your wealth will buy security, putting your family’s nest beyond the reach of danger. But the murders that you commit, you have shamed your name and forfeited your lives. The very stones in the walls cry
• 19:04against you, and the beams in the ceiling echo the complaint. What sorrow awaits you who build cities with money gained through murder and corruption?” That’s what’s going on today. Our leaders are evil. You’re seeing this even with the Epstein affair, you’re seeing this with all kinds of things that are happening. Our leaders don’t give a damn about you and I.
• 19:26They don’t care about the American people. They care about lining their own pockets. You have Donald Trump, and I have to tell you this now, and it bothers me because I supported this man through three elections, and I put my hope in this man. But he’s going around the world taking money for the Trump Organization and for his kids’ business, which is really his business.
• 19:46It’s corruption at the highest level. It’s corruption everywhere. It’s not just him. The Democrats did it. Joe Biden did it with his son Hunter Biden. Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton scammed the world out of billions of dollars.
• 10:01So did Bill Clinton before him. This is what has happened to America. Our leaders are totally corrupt and they’re going to get what they deserve according to God when you read his prophecies. He goes on and says, has not the Lord of heaven promised that the wealth of the nations will turn to ashes? They work so hard but it’s all in vain for all the waters fill the sea the nations will turn to ashes. They work so hard, but it’s all in vain, for all the waters fill the sea, the earth will be filled with awareness of
• 10:28the glory of God. So you can gloat over your shameful nakedness, but soon it will be turned against you in disgrace. Drink the cup from the Lord’s judgment. You cut down the forest of Lebanon, now you’re going to be cut down. You destroyed the wild animals, are we not destroying nature? So now their terror will become yours. You’ve committed murder throughout the countryside, you’d filled towns with your violence. What good is the idols that you make? And you think, we don’t have idols today. No.
• 11:05What do you think is what people think of their wealth, the gold that they may have, or the possessions they own, or the big house, or the big estate that they literally worship? Or worse yet, you surround yourself with false Christianity, the false Christianity that worships on a Sunday, the day of the sun, that is a pagan religious holiday, not the Sabbath day that God ordains you to follow. You put up Easter poles, you know, you read in the Old Testament the Ashtoreth pole or the Easter poles.
• 11:41What is that? Well, it’s no different than a modern Christian, so-called Christian, observing Sunday worshipping church honoring Easter Sunday morning as the sun rises. All you got to do is go to Ezekiel, read the seventh chapter of Ezekiel, the eighth chapter of Ezekiel, and you’ll see an Easter celebration of what God really thinks about it. It’s paganism, and this is what he’s telling Habakkuk in this prayer here. Actually, I’m going to
• 12:09take the time out to go from this prophet to Ezekiel. Ezekiel is the prophet for America. It’s the prophet for Israel. Ezekiel, who was a Jew in Babylonian captivity, he was back in Babylon, he wasn’t even in the Holy Land, was given visions of what would happen at the end time to Israel. Now, you have to remember one thing. When Ezekiel was alive, the northern tribes of Israel, which became the Lost Ten Tribes, which Denmark is one, France is one, England is one, and
• 12:46America is the Joseph, is the Ephraim of your Bible, who possesses the name Israel. So when God says to Ezekiel, I’m going to make you a watchman for the house of Israel, well that must have been confusing to Ezekiel because he knew Israel was gone for about over a hundred and fifty years before Ezekiel lived. Israel was taken captive by Assyria, which is modern-day Germany, and taken into Assyria to be pushed out. The Assyrians and the Israelites were pushed out of the area
• 13:22by the Babylonians and they went through the Caucasus Mountains, where you get the name Caucasian white man from. They went through what is modern-day Eastern Russia and into the lands of Germany and Austria and later France and England. But you can tell this also because there is a prophecy in the Bible that says wherever the children of Dan, the son of Jacob, the nation called Dan, today it is Danmark.
• 13:53And if you get a bottle of liquor, which I have some that I have collected over the years, of a product from Denmark, it will not say Denmark, it will say Dan-mark, and sometimes there’s two little dots over the A to pronounce the Dan-mark, because it says in Genesis, wherever the children of Dan went to, they named the area, the town, or the river, or the sea, or whatever whatever after their father Dan. So and you want to follow where did Israel go?
• 14:28Well, you can follow where Dan went by the names. So you get into Hungary in that region you get the Dnieper River, D-N-I-per River. Remember, there’s no vowels in Hebrew. So Dan can be in English pronounced Din, Dan, Den, or Dun. Think about that. And so, the first river you get to, I believe, is the Dniper River, or the River of Dan, then
• 14:59the Danube. Everybody knows about the Danube River. It’s the river named after their father Dan And then you get to places like Danmark the mark of Dan there you are He leaves his mark wherever he goes London Right. What’s London mean? It’s Dan is in the name
• 15:20so you can find the movement of ancient Israel through the prophet Dan and his family naming everything after him. But let’s go to Ezekiel chapter 8. When we follow, I’m sorry, we find an Easter sunrise service and what God thinks about it. So the next time you decide to have your pork ham Easter dinner after you went to your Easter sunrise worship, maybe you should go to this chapter of the Bible and see if you’re really practicing Christianity.
• 15:52Because the God who became Jesus Christ is the one speaking here. This is not the God the Father. People think this constantly and they’re wrong. They think the God of the Old Testament is the Father God and he’s some mean, angry God that Christ comes and he’s this nice, full of love God that changes everything that his Father did. Nothing of the sort. This God of the Old Testament, this God that’s going to be speaking here to Ezekiel, is the God who became Jesus Christ. You go to the first book of John,
• 16:26I’m sorry, John, the Gospel of John, the first chapter, and you can find exactly what I’m saying. Jesus Christ tells you who he is there. He is the Word or the spokesman of God. That’s why when Jesus said, and a lot of people don’t understand this, in the New Testament, Jesus says, no one has ever seen God the Father at any time nor heard his voice. Well, who did Adam and Eve see and hear? Who did Moses talk to? Who did David talk to? Who did these prophets talk to?
• 16:58Well, Christ does give you the answer. It was he in a former life as Yahweh the Lord of the Old Testament the I am Who I am so he goes on here so on the fifth day of the sixth month during the sixth year of King Jehoiakim’s captivity while the leaders of Judah were in my home The Sovereign Lord took hold of me and I saw a figure that appeared to be like a man
• 17:25From what appeared to be his waist down. He looked like flaming fire from the waist up He looked like a gleaming it looked like gleaming amber and he reached out what seemed to be a hand And he took me by the hair and the spirit lifted me up into the sky To the north gate of the inner courtyard of the temple, where there was a large idol that had made the Lord God very jealous. Suddenly, the glory of the God of Israel was there, just as I had seen before the valley in an earlier prophecy, by the way. Then the Lord said to me, Son of man, look toward the north. So I looked up to the north, and beside the entrance to the gate near the altar
• 18:05stood an idol that made the Lord mad. Son of man, he said, do you see what they are doing? Do you see the detestable sins that the people of Israel, not Judah, are committing to drive me from my temple? But come, and I’m going to show you even more detestable sins than these. Then he brought me into the door of the temple, into the courtyard, where I could see a hole in the wall. And he said to me, Now, son of man, dig into the wall.
• 18:32And I dug into the wall, and I found a hidden doorway. Go in, he said, and see the wicked and detestable, meaning unclean to eat animals and creatures. So I saw various idols being worshipped by the people of Israel. Seventy leaders of Israel were standing there, each of them held an incense burner in their hand. Then the Lord said to me, Son of man, have you seen what these leaders of Israel are doing with their idols in the dark rooms? They are saying to themselves, hey, the Lord can’t see us. He has deserted us anyway.
• 19:13Then the Lord added, come and I will show you even a more detestable sin than these. And he brought me into the north gate of the Lord’s temple. And some women there were weeping for the god Tammuz. Now this is going to take a little bit of information on your part, a little bit of research. See who Tammuz is and see who the women weeping for Tammuz means. Well, you’re going to find out that the god Tammuz is intricate to the ancient
• 19:43pagan festival we know of as Easter. Have you seen this? But I will show you a more detestable thing than this. Then he brought me into the inner court of the Lord’s Temple and at the entrance of the sanctuary, between the entry room and the bronze altar, there were about 25 men with their backs to the sanctuary and they were facing the east and bowing low to the sanctuary and they were facing the east and bowing low to the ground worshipping the rising sun. When is the sun in the east? In the morning. It’s a
• 20:14morning sunrise service. Have you seen this son of man? Is it nothing that the people of Judah,” because it’s people of Judah here but he’s talking about Israel, that they commit these detestable sins against me, leading the whole nation into violence, thumbing their noses at me and provoking me to anger. Therefore I will respond with my fury, I will not have pity on them, nor will I spare them. And though they will cry for mercy, I will not listen.” Now, like I said, it takes a little bit of research on your part, and I’m not going to get
• 20:51into it today, but I think you should do the research. Find out who Tammuz is. Find out what Tammuz has to do with an Easter celebration from ancient Babylonia, and you’re going to find an idea that there was an Easter sunrise worshiping pagan ceremony going on almost 2,000 years before Christ walked this earth as a man. And so when you follow Easter and you follow that holiday, you are absolutely inciting Christ against you.
• 21:26You’re not doing God’s bidding by following Easter. You’re following a pagan practice because you have been lied to, lulled into this myth of Christianity that does not exist in your Bible. If you would just start reading the Bible and start practicing what it says to do and believe it, and believe the words as they are written. Now, granted, in English, which most of you people are going to be reading the Bible in, you have to be careful about the translations, because
• 21:59each translation has biases by the people who translated them. But it takes a little bit of work, but a little bit of work pays off for your eternal life, because God will reveal to you through prayer which translation errors are wrong. It’s all there. You can find everything. You can find out what translation errors there are in the King James. You can find out what translation errors there are in the NIV, and there are plenty. You can find out what translation errors there are in the NIV, and there are plenty. You can find out all the assumptions and wrong ideas and translations in the Thought for Thought Bible called the Living Bible,
• 22:34which I think is still a very good Bible to casually read as a story, because you actually get the feeling and the presence of God reading the Living Bible. It has been probably the most important Bible that I’ve ever read, but I understand all the biases by the person who translated the English into the modern English of the Living Bible. I understand all of the problems there, trying to promote things like
• 23:06the Trinity and things like that. Do you know that the word Holy Spirit in the New Testament, the Spirit is called it several times, not him, and the only reason when it says He, meaning the Holy Spirit will come and comfort you, the reason it’s He and people think that’s the third part of the Trinity, it’s because all romance languages, think of Latin, think of French, think of Spanish. La pluma, that means the pen, but la means it’s feminine form of pen. So pen is a feminine, right? And if it’s El- this, it’s the masculine form. So, the idea that the translators saw a feminine form or a masculine form for the Spirit, by the way, in the Old
• 23:57Testament it’s a feminine form, Ruach, in the New Testament, Numa, is a masculine form, and so it becomes He. But in the Old Testament, it’s is a masculine form and so it becomes he, but in the Old Testament, it’s she. When you read about wisdom, for example, in the Proverbs, it’s a she that talked about. Do we think now that there’s four gods? There’s God the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Women’s Spirit, or the Holy Mother Spirit? Well, the Catholics believe that. They believe
• 24:24there’s a Queen of Heaven. It’s called Mary worship and the Queen of Heaven, you can go back to the Prophet Jeremiah and think what God thinks about this idea there’s a Queen of Heaven. It’s all paganism and it’s about time that we understand that the Bible is news. It is not some gobbledygook that you read that some ancient mystic wrote 2,300 years ago and it has absolutely no basis of reality in your life today. And that is what you’ve been led to believe, even by your churches, for the most part,
• 124:59because they so trivialize the Old Testament Scriptures, especially the prophets, because they know that if they were to really focus on these prophets and who the God is of the Old Testament, it would destroy their whole narrative of who Jesus Christ really was and is, because Christ is alive today in heaven and he’s preparing to come back to this earth to save us from ourselves. And if you don’t call that news, that’s not religion, that’s not evangelical, that is news.
• 25:34Someday your 630 evening news is going to talk about, if there’s still broadcasts going on after all that destruction, I think there will be, you’re going to hear some newscaster talking about this big bright light coming from heaven and they don’t know what it is. You’re going to be talking about, they’re going to be talking about a time of war, nuclear war, and about the end of mankind as they know it, and being total fear, and then you’re going to be hearing and seeing the physical form of Christ coming to this earth to save us from
• 26:06ourselves. That is not religion. It is the news of the future. It is going to happen. And that’s the good news. That’s why it’s called the Gospel. The Gospel is called the good news, and it is the best news you’re ever going to learn, and you’re ever going to know about. And the other good news, part of this Gospel, is that you were created in the image of God. You are meant to become God’s children. You are meant to be God. You’re not meant to be some angel whiffing around on a cloud somewhere doing nothing and watching your loved ones down on earth suffer through
• 26:41pain and tragedy. No, you’re gonna be God, you’re gonna be going through the universe, rebuilding this entire universe that was destroyed in the Star Wars that happened between God and his forces and the devil and his forces. That’s why the whole universe looks destroyed, the moon has pop marks all over it, like the worst acne you ever seen on somebody
• 27:17there was a battle in heaven between Michael and Gabriel and the forces of Satan and
• 27:24Satan lost and was cast down to this earth where he’s been able to reign as the God of this earth
• 27:34He is the God in control of the people of this world today. It’s not God the Father. It’s not Jesus Christ
• 27:45when he explains who the earth is controlled by. It’s controlled by Satan the devil. When Satan was tempted in Jesus Christ, remember this one thing, he showed him all the kingdoms of the world and he said, these are all mine. They’ve been given to me and I can give them to whoever I please if you worship, bow down and worship me. Christ didn’t say they’re not yours. He knew they were Satan’s. Satan was put in charge of this earth eons ago. That is the plain truth, my friends, and that’s what’s going to be the news of
• 28:16your future, if you want to believe it or not. You don’t have to, but it doesn’t take you to believe it to make it come true. Just like it doesn’t take the deer to believe that that wolf is coming down to kill it, but it’s gonna do it if that wolf is present. Well, that’s the show for today, and I just wanna keep pointing out the Bible is news.
• 28:37It’s not just some religious book written by some fanatic 2,000 years ago. It is for your day today, it is for our day today. If we listen to what God tells us to do and we obey God, we just don’t believe on Jesus, we have to obey him, then we have salvation coming. That is the good news of our faith in Jesus Christ.
