What Must Happen Before Christ Returns: What HE Said! (Transcript)

In today’s broadcast, Bob Barney explains the signs to look out for that Christ Himself foretold would occur BEFORE His return to earth as King of kings and Lord of lords.

Hi, this is Bob Barney. 

I wanted to get into today, especially with the war in the Middle East right now and that we are possibly in WWII…aren’t you curious is this does imply that we’re in the end times and that Christ is ready to return at any moment? So many people are making these claims.

Many of the misconceptions of the fundamentalism and Pentecostalism type churches have been that they believe and teach that Christ’s return can happen at any moment, even tomorrow. You could be walking to school or driving to work and boom, He is here, or the great rapture happens. Did you know that the “rapture” is another great deception that people teach? That is for another time.

But what I want to go over briefly today is what are the signs that have to happen before He would come according to HIS Word.

When Christ was asked on the Mount of Olives some 2000 years ago, when would He come back and what would the signs be of His coming, He gave a very brief explanation of Matthew 24 which totally corresponds with the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

The white, the red horse, the pale horse and the black horse. Christ said let no one deceive you. That is of course the white horse of false religion. For many will come in my name, will claim that I Jesus is the Christ but will deceive many He said. SO there will be many false Christian preachers and entire churches dedicated to Christianity that Christ warns is a great false gospel Even Paul in his commentaries in letters to various churches warns that already in his day there were scattered abroad, beings, infiltrators to the true church,, a false gospel, another false gospel which is what he called it and it wasn’t the gospel that Jesus Christ brought or what Pual was bringing. 

Getting back to what things must happen can be basically down to a few biblical notions that Christ Himself agreed to, number 1, watch for false prophets, which is all of the Four Horsemen really happened since the time of the Apostles, the end time really started in Revelation at the time of John. But the time of tribulation is about to occur and Christ gave signals to look out for before He returns…

1) There has to be a population that could destroy itself. If the human race cannot destroy itself or could not until the advent of the atomic bomb, the whole world would not be in trouble of destruction. Matt 24:22 describing world conditions prior to His second coming said that if those trials are not cut short, no living thing could survive, but for the elect’s sake, which are the Christians, that time will be cut short. So, you have to look for a time when man could annihilate himself. That didn’t really happen until 1945 and maybe not even then until the 1960s when Russia and the USA, plus several other countries had enough nuclear power to destroy the earth 25 times over. 

2) The second thing to look for is that the Jewish homeland of Judah would be reestablished in the middle east. Now don’t get confused here, in former broadcasts I have pointed out that there are two nations talked about in the Bible, the northern ten tribes being Israel who was taken into captivity which now is a confound of western Europe, the USA, Canada and Great Britain, and the southern kingdom called Judah. All Jews are Israelites but not all Israelites are Jews. We see in the prophets that God promises that Judah will come back before Israel comes back. It really says that in Isaiah. Then it will happen on the day o the Lord will recover the 2nd time His hand and the remnant of His people and will remain from Assyria, Egypt, etc., and from the islands of the seas and He will lift up a standard for the nations and assemble a banished ones of Israel and will gather the dispersed Judah, (notice Judah) from the 4 corners of the earth, Judah returns to the Middle East long before Israel ends up there; Israel doesn’t end up there until the Millenium btw.

Israel as I have said before is the name that Jacob was given by God which means struggle with God and prevail and had 12 sons and each son became a nation. Reuben for example is France of today…Nephtali is Holland, Dan is Denmark…United States is the lesser or younger tribe of Joseph called Ephraim, the thirteenth tribe. Great Britain is Manasseh, the oldest of Josephs sons. 

3) The third sign to look for that Bible predicted in Daniel, even before Jesus, but Daniel was told there would be four kingdoms on earth before Christ returned. He named the four kingdoms, and they are the Roman Empire. The Roman Empire expired around 5-700 AD but that is not the case. Revelations shows us that the Holy Roman Empire would keep reviving itself until the end time and come again as part of the King of the North which is a Hitler type antichrist and would become the most powerful block of nations int he world. Their main opposition would be a Muslim kingdom from the south called The King of the South. They would war back and forth and that started back in the crusades. There has to be a revival of the Roman Empire in order to see when the end time would come; that is happening but is not the case today.

4) In Matthew 24 Jesus points at that we are told we would hear wars and rumors of war, and this has to do with the King of the Norh and the King of the South as they start fighting each other. Once again, that started with the crusades but back then they did not have the ability to erase mankind like now.

5) The final thing is the emergence of an antichrist. There is not just one mentioned in the Bible but as John says there are many. But in the end times there will be a leader who is an antichrist and he with the false prophet which is based in Rome which is all I will share about this at this time, but he will deceive most of Christianity, as it says so.

6) Moving on…the temple has to be rebuilt, many churches say that it is not going to happen, but if there is not a temple then Revelation 11 cannot happen. And at that time there will be the 2 witnesses in Jerusalem, and they will put an end to the beast rule, aka the King of the North who is going to come after them with a great vengeance. This will happen when they are at the temple of the Lord, the temple that is talked about in Ezekiel which is the millennial temple that will be built before Jesus returns and that temple will be what Christ enters and rules from. 

7) You see in Daniel 7:8 he sang to himself, well I have been thinking about the horns before me, there was another horn, a little one that came up among them and three of the first horns were uprooted before it.  This horn had eyes like the eyes of a man and the mouth of a dragon. He spoke boastfully. This 11th horn eventually was another king that comes out of the north of the ten kings motioned that you find in both Daniel and Revelation. Just quickly touching on this to show you all of the things that must happen before Christ returns.

8) After the temple is rebuilt, the Jewish nation and the Jews themselves will find protection from the King of the North, the antichrist. They will be protected by the onslaught of the Muslim alliance which is the King of the South. The Jews according to Christ will look at the antichrist, the leader o Holy Roman Europe, as their messiah.

Jesus said plainly, I come in My own name and Me you do not accept as your Messiah, but another will come in His own name and he you will accept.

But I wanted to get you clear on things as the Middle East is in the news and I encourage you to look at the middle east as it will always be in your future, but we are not yet at the time of Christs returns. Do not be deceived or let anyone fool you that you are going to see return at any moment. It just isn’t going to happen. These things that I have listed from the Bible have to be fulfilled.

God is not a liar. He does not make statements He does not intend to follow. There will be these signs that I have mentioned happening before the major things you need to look for amongst everything else is a temple being rebuilt and a unified Europe that becomes the world’s biggest power which supplants the USA. Nowhere in prophesy does it say that the USA will be around by the tribulation.  The USA is the Ephraim, the Israel of your Bible and we are going to be destroyed and sent back into captivity before the tribulation.

Not only will there be a return to sacrifices by the Jewish people and an end of the sacrifices, but all a time they look upon the antichrist as their messiah. Then there will be heavenly signs and all kinds of stars and meteorites showers and all kinds of celestial happenings and then the war happens. The war will be a nuclear occurrence that will obliterate 2/3 of mankind.  Then more after that because pestilence will take over and that takes a good share of people on top of those dying after form radiation poisoning. There are prophesies that say only 10 percent of the population will survive upon the time o His return.

So the chances that the USA is a nation by the time of the tribulation in my opinion is not accurate but there will be a united Holy Roman European King of the North  and that will be the biggest power o the world and that is what you look for and then you look for the rebuilding of the temple, the starting and ending of sacrifices and then will come the Two Witnesses.

Finally, I want to talk about the Two Witness’, some of this is not from the Bible, this is my opinion.

What is in the Bible: It is said that they will plague the entire world with their prophesies. They are going to be like Moses and Aaron and call every type of calamities to befall this earth because they do not follow the Lord. They will call fire down from Heaven, stop the rain for years at a time, cause droughts and all kinds of hardship. The Bible says that in Revelation 11 that finally the beast overtakes them, overpowers them, as God allows this just before His return and they are killed in the streets of Jerusalem and their bodies lay dead, exposed to the whole world before Christ returns. The whole world will gaze at their bodies. What else does that tell you? That there is a time, that we are in today, of worldwide visibility to see it through. That is television. That is the internet. And their death will be celebrated, and that people will be so happy that these two people have caused so much trouble in the world were killed by the beast who the world believes in God, will give presents to each other. When do people give gifts to each other? At Christmas time; Satan’s holiday. This is not in the Bible, the Christmas part, it is my opinion, but it seems to me they may be killed around Christmas time. The devil will deceive people that the Two Witnesses are the beast convincing them to celebrate their death. 

I can just see Fox News now, that is a Christmas miracle! These two monsters got killed by God for Christmas! Only to see that 3 and a half days later that they come back alive again on TV for all to see, and they hear a voice that says, “COME UP”, and they in physical form fly into the Heavens to meet the returning Christ. If that doesn’t shock a lot of the people left int he world at the time I don’t know what will.

Please don’t listen to what I say or what others say, look it up for yourself. 

These things have to happen before He comes. Don’t let any preacher tell you that he can return tonight, He cannot because he will not, because he follows what he says he is going to do. He is the same God that aid, I change not, therefore you are not destroyed Israel. God doesn’t change, we do. HE keeps HIs word.

These things you look forward to and you will know what is going on.
