Good morning! It is 7:11 AM and this is Bob Barney with The Plain Truth Today…
I wanted to say that today is the last day of The Feast of Unleavened Bread, part of Passover week…it is the last day that one is supposed to eat bread made without yeast, called Matzo. In fact, in the Bible it is called the name of Matzo…not Unleavened Bread. It is bread made without yeast symbolizing the haste that they had to make bread to escape Egypt…really though, yeast symbolizes sin, so this is about getting sin out of our life and homes. The Passover of course was a foreshadow of Jesus Christ, the God of the Old Testament who came as a person, as a man and died for our sins to cleanse us. So today marks the last day of this feast and it ends tonight, even though the day extends all the way into tomorrow morning. Then tomorrow is another holiday called the Feast of First Fruits.
Last week we touched on this holy day. The Feast of First Fruits is the 8th day of Passover, but it has something more significant about it, it is the first fruits of the harvesting season. In the Bible, Christ is called the First BORN, the First Fruits of the dead. He is our First Fruits. He is the first to ever come to life, immortal life that is…not raised to death to mortal life like Lazarus. Christ was raised from mortal life to death, but then raised into immortal life and was God again…He is the first born of many brothers. So, tomorrow is a Christ centered holiday as it symbolizes the day that He became (in my opinion) God again…as a spiritual immortal being. That is maybe why after the 8 days of Passover when the Apostles are together in the upper room, Christ then allows Himself to be touched, something He would not let the women do after the morning He was resurrected from the dead. This is my idea, doesn’t maybe mean much.
Tomorrow is when you start counting down 50 days up to May 29th which will be Pentecost. That is the birthday of the New Testament church and also the birthday of the Old Testament church because that was when the Law was given on Mt Sinai.
This morning, we get up and think about the total eclipse of the sun that happened over the USA in Passover week. There has to be some symbolism in there somewhere, I mean, everyone is alive, so the doom and gloom going around didn’t come to fruition but there has to be some kind of a symbol going on…we had a the moon Passover the country from Dallas , Texas, Indianapolis, all the way out to Maine…we went outside from our paint plant at 2 o’clock till 3 and watched the sun become hidden behind the moon…it became probably 8/10’s, maybe 85% blocked out for us when we were watching…it never was 100% here in the eastern VA area but it was still a sight to behold. It held our attention for a good while. It was funny because it did get semi dark…as if it were sunset where you still could see well…it was pretty exciting, nevertheless. I am glad and I think everyone else is, that we made it through the eclipse and are here this morning.

Other news that has some importance that I would like to share with you and have spoken to you about in the past, is that bitcoin when back through the roof, back over 70,000 dollars per coin and the price of gold is continually going up to 1,360 dollars was the height of the day, retreating a little bit, but this is just the beginning on the run on gold. I think bitcoin is a fools gamble, not to say you shouldn’t be in it when it was cheap and get rid of it about now, maybe wait a little bit and start moving out of it a bit right now…I think when the market crashes and may even crash before this coming election, you will see Bitcoin going down the tube along with the stock market. Gold will hold its own. Gold will always hold its own. It is a currency that God talks about a lot in the Bible. God kind of likes gold and silver and the precious metals alike. So do I.
Be aware of the price of gold and what is going on with the economy and the debt that is driving a lot the problems that we have going on today.
A story that I do not mean to get into too much detail today but tap on it for a moment…as this is intriguing to me when I heard this the other day for the first time…this may be very important to you to be honest. No media is covering this however there are some local tv stations covering this as I Found this searching on the www. The government in many states, including my own state, but especially TX and many other states are privatizing the prison system. They are putting the prison system in the hands of private companies. Like hospital corporation of America owns like your local hospital, a small-town hospital of the like, owned by huge conglomerate companies…which when it comes to hospitals it might make sense because they can afford the insurance whereas a hospital cannot, but when it comes to prisons, is this a good idea?
The little bit of the research that I have done is quite frightening what I found out. The idea that you are going to put the prison system in the hands of private enterprises, who then takes money that they make from the taxpayer who is paying for that prisoner to be there, and they are lobbying their state legislature bodies with all kinds of money to make sure that they get tough on crime. Doesn’t that sound good? We are going to get tough on crime so we are going to take a crime that used to be a year in prison and make it 3 years in prison…I don’t think you have to be too much of a genius to figure out that this may be revealing some criminality and evil intentions and downright crookedness to private prisons lobbying and paying members of the state legislative bodies money in order to make sure that they have a full prison. I have read in some of the searching yesterday that some states actually promise the prison that they will deliver an X number of new prisoners every month and if they fail to do so, the prison then gets bonus money because the state did not live up to their obligation of filling their prison quota. So, what incentive does that give to the local sheriff’s and the local judges possibly in these states that do this? If they are making sure that people are going to jail when maybe they should NOT be going to jail. There is now a financial incentive to put people in jail when maybe the offense really doesn’t call for jail? Then there are these horror stories that I thought was limited to the movies and long long gone…that then you have these prisons now that they make sure that once you are there and they get paid something like 7 or 8 thousand dollars a month for you to be there…that they make sure that you cannot get out when your time is over. Let’s say you are sentenced to 3 years, and you can get out on good behavior at 2.5 years but these allegedly now these prisons are then setting these inmates up to commit other crimes or have say they have done so, or in some way blame crimes on them happening inside the prison so they get longer sentences. That money then keeps rolling in.
Think back to the Covid days when hospitals were paid by our government to make sure people died of covid even if they died of a motorcycle accident; if they wrote covid was the cause of death on the certificate, they received 30 thousand dollars each person! They went out of their way to make sure that the cause of death was covid to make money.
I remember coming on my 4th year that my mother died, during the covid crisis in 2020, she died of cancer by the way and was 92 years old…that they tried everything in their power, the funeral home included all the way to the people in the government, to get the nurse who was watching over my mom as we paid one to watch over her, to claim that she died of complications of covid. The pressure was tremendous! I give her credit, but the nurse who was quite young by the way, refused to go along with this scam. I saw firsthand how the government and people representing the government wanted to make sure that my mom died of covid when she died of cancer.
Prisons getting paid off of prisoners is basically the same thing! doesn’t it seem like it would make sure that these prisoners never leave? It is mind boggling to me.
I also heard rumors and I could not substantiate this, but I have heard that in many counties that the judges themselves own the prisons. They form a corporation, an LLC, or some other type of corporation and they are really like the silent owners of private prisons. They are sentencing people to longer prison terms than normal because they themselves have a financial gain to do so. Like I said, I looked quite hard for days to try to find a story that says that…I have only heard this from people who claim they know this to be fact, and this can be a big fat lie, but those that claim to be in the know say that private owned for profit, are owned by sheriff’s and judges. Wouldn’t that be something that would wreak if true, of criminality and corruption? Corruption is running amok in this country, and I just think that everybody has to realize right now that something has to give. Something has to be done if we expect to survive another ten or 15 years as a republic form of democracy.
WE are a democratic republic and I think we are at the end of the potential of us being a free people.
We are going to become the serfs of the state unless we stop this widespread corruption everywhere in government, big business, big media, big pharma.
If you get a paper in your small town, did you know that no one in that town owns that paper? It is totally owned by some huge conglomerate from some huge city and the people who control the news you read have an agenda and it does not have anything to do with your small town in America. They hate small town America in fact. They bought up the papers to make profit off the people advertising malls and car dealerships. They are not going to tell you what is really going on in your county or town because you most likely do not have a real living reporter working for that local newspaper. It is just a rag publishing propaganda. This s what is happening today.
When you watch tv news, read the paper, magazines even, most of these are owned by huge corporations…Fox News, the Murdoch group for example. These are big time media businesses that really do not have you and your family’s wellbeing in their care.
I think again, we have to be really careful about what is going on, what our prison systems are doing, our legal system, our court systems…that we are putting people in jail that possibly do not belong in there.
I did do a show that they are putting a lot of people on death row that turned out to be innocent and a lot of people that I know who would normally be for the death penalty but because of their inside knowledge of the court systems they are no longer for it. The biggest liars in a court are not the defendant. It is the prosecuting attorney, the policeman who are testifying and the judges who are presiding over the cases. They are the biggest criminals and liars and really are evil characters in the whole scheme of things. There is a business of putting people in jail and putting people on the chopping block so to speak…we really do need to look into what is going on there.
I will do some more research on this and if anyone knows something and can prove something about the prisons and the court systems, please write me. You are not normally going to listen to or hear the big conglomerates. I will give credit though as I saw a few tv stations in a western part of VA talking about the Lawrenceville states prison of VA which is privately owned and there seems to be corruption there. There is a lot of coverage especially in TX with privately owned prisons that seem to be corrupt.
One last topic for you today on this last day of Passover and Feast of Unleavened Bread. It is really difficult to get news from sources and that is what we are trying to do here at The Plain Truth. To get your real news and not fake news.
Several years back when the new Boeing 737 MAX came on board and there were some crashes, I believe on an Ethiopian airline and another one in Africa. Software and the design of the airplane was blank. it got my attention only because I watch these plane crash shows all the time…I am a nerd regarding airplanes and a frustrated man who always wanted to be a pilot…I saw one show about 7 years ago about an airbus…let me give you some background. Airbus is a European manufactured aircraft in direct competition with Boeing…actually owned by governments in Europe, England France and Germany is involved. Airbus is actually state-owned private enterprise aircraft company…they are selling their aircraft against the world’s largest aircraft company, Boeing which is privately owned. Our government has no financial backing in Boeing with the exception of government contract’s…so this particular airbus, a two engine craft, a jet…the right engine where the pilot sits there are two levers one for each engine, when they were landing, throttling both together evenly, that particular model of airbus had a tendency where when you pulled the throttle back and took your hand off of the two sticks, the right throttle would normally push itself up automatically and the right engine would come back alive. Then when one engine is dead or at an idle and the other ramps up full bore, it will spin to the left because all of the power is coming from the right and if you are not on top of it right away you will lose control. The pilots were blamed because everyone who flew that particular aircraft, that was in their training, it was a glitch of that aircraft, a software glitch where you would be instructed whilst landing that when the right engine would go up you would notice it and pull it back again to stop it from happening. I am thinking to myself that was a known problem and pilots had to be trained to look for it why wouldn’t they fix it. That show was acting like to this day that the pilots have to be aware that the right engine accelerates on his own when your hand is not on it, that is okay, but the real reason it seems like at the time when I was studying the MAX 737 was that it was a very complicated software program that pilots who were not properly trained with that software were the reasons why the planes crashed. So, then you had those 3rd world airlines crashing, no American ones though, they seemed to do okay. So, I started wondering are all of these things about Boeing more about corruption of airbus bribing the news media to cover Boeing problems and overlooking airbus problems that it just got me wondering!
The latest of all of the different problems that seem to happen every week lately with some Boeing aircraft, and most of them are maintenance issues and I don’t blame Boeing. When Alaskan Airlines happened it was poor maintenance, but the thing that I noticed was that it seemed like you are seeing a lot of these stories. Only Boeing. Lots of problems. Wokeness at the airline is being blamed and Boeing people come out and trust me, never trust an employee who comes out to the media, but Boeing said they wouldn’t fly on a Boeing aircraft…they said when they see they will be they change their tickets to an airbus. That smells to high heaven. That may be true. That may be that Boeing has become like every other woke business and worrying about DEI and diversity that they are building lousy planes.
I will ask you this…when was the last time an American airliner crashed? You have to go back pretty far. I was growing up in the day where at least every two to three years there was a major airliner crash. That is why I watch these shows because when they did crash back then, things were learned, and changes put in place by the NTSB to make sure such acts like this didn’t happen again. Most of those crashes were pilot error. Crashes got less and less normal as more and more knowledge of why planes crashed became known.
We have gone quite a long time and I hope I am not going to jinx anybody here and we are going to find out that 2 hours after this aircraft there is the largest death toll from an airplane crashing…but my point is that these stories we are fed by the media that Boeing is so unsafe, we haven’t seen a crash…think about that for a moment.
the other thing to notice is that nobody is reporting that an airbus has a problem! I am in the paint business, so I know there are mistakes happening every day and every big business. If you want to focus on those mistakes, you can drive home a message that the products of this company maybe are making is pure crap. You can always find examples to prove this every single week of the year. If you don’t investigate this and no one knows about it, then no one will know there is a problem. I am starting to wonder if Boeing’s problem is more about Airbus trying to steal their business, then it has to do with Boeing safety and design flaws. I am not an expert, i have no idea. Watching these show I do notice lately no matter what type of news outlet you watch; they all seem to come down against Boeing. When the liberal media and the so-called right side media start agreeing on things, I start to get concerned.
The last topic for today in this hodgepodge of a broadcast, it is a holiday, the last day of the Passover which is a special Sabbath day for those who observe it, and tomorrow is another speical Sabbath day called the Feast of First Fruits, representing Christs resurrection from the dead and His ascension into Heaven and becoming God again, in MY opinion….something i cannot prove in the Bible but to me it makes logical sense…He is our First Fruits and THAT is biblical. The true calendar of God is what we follow.
I bring up subjects that I think if you are listening to me routinely, you haven’t heard about them so you must ask yourself the following questions, why haven’t you heard about them? When you haven’t heard something in the news that should be there, there is always a reason and the reason is never to your benefit, I can guarantee that right now.
I appreciate you every single day of my life and I hope you tell more people about this show and that more people will come over and listen. We are small, we have no real budget, it is my wife and my budget. We will never ask for money, and we will do our best to prove what we can, and it is up to you to challenge it, run with it, or throw it away. When you can find fault, that is fine, I make mistakes. I think though that if you listen to us long enough you are going to find out about things you never knew about and then you have to ask the question, I actually asked myself back in 1975…”why don’t I know this and what is the reason why I don’t know it”. Why did I think we went to heaven when I died but then learned it is not in the Bible. Why did I think that Sunday worship was found in the Bible, and it was not. And Christmas?? I was being lied to and you are being lied to today.
