Two thousand years ago, a newscaster that we know of as Jesus Christ warned us about false Christianity. He did not warn against the devil, but against false Christianity in that there will be people who come in His name and will deceive many.

That is what this broadcast is about today…about being aware of our church leaders and our political leaders who oftentimes use God to promote an agenda, which is, in my opinion, pure blasphemy.

2:01 We’re all familiar with those politicians that are anti-God. They tend to be Democrats lately, and they tend to hate Christianity in any form there is however, more dangerous than that, my friends, is the opposite scenario. I am talking about those people who are just as crooked and just as dishonest who promote their Christian values…which is nothing but a scam. These are the ones who have that smirky, smiley face, and they clutch their Bible, convincing the world and people who believe in God that they are great people.

Oftentimes, these people are promoting a false gospel, and they’re false themselves as they are deceiving the people. This is who Christ was warning us about…these particular people!

You know, most Christians would be surprised to read some of the actual words of Christ. For example, they would be surprised to hear Christ say in the New Testament Red Letter Bibles, Christ say, in vain do they worship me. 

Many will say, how is that? How can you worship Christ in vain?

Christ gives the answer, in vain do they worship me, for they teach the doctrines of man and not the commandments of God.

 Did you ever hear that in your church?

4:24 I hope you did, but I bet most people have not heard that coming fromt he pulpit in their church.

Did you know that Christ said, do not think I have come to abolish the law or the prophets, but I’ve come to magnify the law, and anyone who does not follow the least little letter of the law will be least in the kingdom of heaven?

You might make it, but you will be the least. Did you know that? Yet we believe that Christ came to do away with the law?

When Jesus says, many will come to me on the day of judgment and say, Lord, did we not cast out demons in Your name? Did we not perform many miracles in Your name and believe on You? And Christ will say, away from me, you who practice lawlessness.

Jesus is not even going to recognize Christians who did miracles in His name. Think about that for a minute. 

Christians today have been groomed to pursue money. They’re looking for signs and wonders, and they will joyfully adopt the Antichrist Christian message when He comes, because the Antichrist is going to come as a replacement for Christ and claim to be Christ. He is going to claim to be God on earth. Because Christians are looking for a particular type of Christianity that they want to believe in and they’re going to be easily deceived.

In Revelations we read, and he does great wonders so that he makes fire come down from heaven on earth in the sight of men.

6:23 Imagine a miracle where fire comes down from heaven and consumes something.

I think most people think that that will have to be God, but the Bible says it is the devil and that it is deception. The Bible also says, with great wonders, he will perform many miracles and convince many to follow him instead of Christ. That is the natural result of our mind…our mind does not focus on heavenly things, but on earthly things. We’re meant to really focus on earthly things like of survival, food, shelter, work, and getting ahead. Oftentimes we don’t think of the heavenly things that Jesus was trying to tell us.

He says, do not be deceived.

People don’t know they’re falling away when they are in fact doing so. When Christ’s disciples, for example asked Him what the signs of his return would be, Jesus mentioned a number of things that would happen. He warned them and said, be careful that nobody deceives you. Sadly, nowadays too many Christians let themselves be just that…deceived. 

All someone has to do is squinch their eyes up, pray in the name of Jesus, make some kind of quirky looking face and hold the Bible in their hand and many people are going to believe everything that person says. They’re not going to think the person’s actually lying and deceiving them for their money or even for many other reasons.

8:21 We have many false Christs with us today. Many who are in the disguise of priests and ministers and political leaders who love to cloak themselves with Christ and cloak themselves with the Christian religion. They make mistakes sometimes in an interview when for example, a congresswoman talks about being kicked out of bed by her boyfriend because she’s late for this interview to go to a church revival meeting and she didn’t even understand what people found wrong with what she had said.

 There are many people in churches today who do not know that they have been deceived by their false prophets, their leaders, their ministers, or their political people, because they have replaced the biblical gospel with a counterfeit gospel. The apostle Paul warned about this counterfeit gospel 2,000 years ago. The message today is basically one of get what you can get by being a Christian. You can get eternal life in heaven. That is an example of do this and you will get that when actually God’s word is GIVE.

Are you aware that Moses, who is one of the most famous biblical characters was willing to give up his eternal life if God would forgive the people’s sin? It’s in the Bible. God was so mad at the Israelites leaving Egypt and sinning constantly after watching miracle after miracle after miracle, still making a golden calf and bowing down and worshiping it even! God finally in His anger, and God gets angry by the way, said to Moses, step aside. I am going to take your children and your descendants and I’m going to make them into the promised people and I’m going to annihilate all of the people of Israel. And Moses said, repent from what you’re doing, Lord. You made a promise to Abraham that his children would be blessed. Take away my eternal life. Forgive these people. And God says…yes, in your Bible, in the King James Version anyway, that God repented for what He was planning to do. He changed His mind because He was reminded by a person who was so humble. The Bible claims that Moses was the humblest person that has ever lived…. who was willing to sacrifice all of eternity if God would forgive the people who sinned against Him. 

11:32 So evidently, according to what is actually truly God’s love of you and me, it is not about what we are going to get from being a Christian. It is about what you’re willing to give up to be a Christian.

Think about that.

It’s a little bit different than I think we understand or even how I have understood what being Christian is about.  

I do a lot of bad things in my life. I do a lot of things that God is not happy about however, I know it and I admit it and I pray to God to always forgive me. Hopefully He does forgive me. I still believe He does.

In the preparation for the coming of the Antichrist, many of his agents, which are not only just demons, but they’re the people wearing collars and people professing Christianity in the pulpits and in Congress and in the halls of justice. They produce a false Christianity, a false gospel. Gospel just means good news, by the way.

I think I told you that in a former broadcast how people fall victim, especially people who themselves are believers, but I am talking about the believers who are based on faith alone. Most people are taught that you only have to have faith alone and you will be saved. That is a scripture however, James, who most scholars believe is the real half-brother of Jesus Christ, who had the same mother, different father, actually tore that notion apart. In the Bible, there is a verse that James writes that faith without works is dead. Faith alone, according to James, does nothing for you but that you prove your faith through your works.

12:57 Moses proved his faithfulness to God by offering up his eternal life, his entire reward that we’re all looking for.

He was willing to give it up.

Point being, that Moses’ works made that faith honest in God’s eyes. God saw that as a form of honesty and sincerity and maybe that’s why the first five books of the Bible are from Moses…because he was such an important person to God.

Next to Abraham, the most important person to God, I believe, would have been Moses.

Just beware of the people who will come in sheep’s clothing and are really ravenous wolves, as Christ calls them.

13:20 Just because some politician who gets elected somewhere who happens to be clutching a Bible and says he’s a Bible-believing Christian…still be cautious.

As Ronald Reagan says, trust but verify, because many of these people are frauds. Many of these people use and abuse religion and as a result there are people who will blindly follow anyone who says they’re religious…and to their own destruction I might add. Also, unfortunately to the destruction of those who follow along. 

Jesus warned us to beware of false Christian prophets, Christian teachers, Christian ministers, Christian leaders. Beware of them.

I have a question for you. In the entire time that Christ preached the gospel, the good news…are you aware of an instance in the Bible where He asked people to give Him money?

14:45 Now there’s a few verses where the women that traveled along with Christ, some of them were quite wealthy having given money to the disciples to live off of. Even still, I do not see Jesus going around and curing people or having an altar call asking people to give them some silent donations. I don’t see Jesus at any time asking for money. I don’t see at any time Jesus Christ acting like any of the most hideous Christians or religious people who are asking for money in the name of God.

We are told to follow Christ’s example.

We are not told to follow some guy’s example whom we think is holy and virtuous. The only One we know to be holy and virtuous is Jesus Christ and we are to follow Him. 

Paul says, follow me as I follow Christ. Paul was smart enough to know to declare, don’t worship me, I’m a fellow man. You follow my example as long as I am teaching Christ, and as I’m following Christ’s example. And if I stop, don’t follow me anymore, because I have turned into a false preacher. He warned against the false gospel in his day.

15:21 This is similar to a previous broadcast that we published, but it’s important nevertheless to see that today it is just not the churches you go to that are full of deception about a false Christianity, but it is also your political leaders. Don’t embrace anyone just because they say they’re a good Christian, and they start a session or a speech with a prayer. They could be a fraud. Hopefully, they’re not as there are many good people out there, too. These people I am pointing out may not believe what I believe in exactly, but God has reached their heart, and I’m sure God is with them. There are many good Christians in this country. There are many leaders who truly follow the example of Christ so please know I am not trying to disparage any of these people or any people that look up to them. Just remember, we are not to look up to anybody. Don’t look up to anyone but God.

One of the things I set out to do here on The Plain Truth is to get you to THINK. I say things kind of bombastically at times and it is to make you think and to spur you on to do your own research. I believe most of the things I say, you’re going to easily prove I actually did find in the Bible. Now, you may come to a different conclusion than I do, and you have every right to in your world to do so…and I don’t think God is going to hold you accountable if you sincerely take what I say in a different light. If you think about it, you use your common sense, and you keep an open mind that God maybe is trying to talk to you. We all make mistakes. I make many mistakes, but I do challenge people, and I want people to start thinking for themselves and to trust no human being but Christ and God the Father alone. Listen to those as long as they are truly following God, and when they’re not, watch out because they’re bad, and they bring evil to the country.

I want you to look things up, whatever your politicians tell you to do, don’t necessarily believe them. If they tell you that Russia is doing something, don’t necessarily believe that because you don’t like Russia. Until you’re in an earlier broadcast, Russia is not our enemy. We are our enemy. We’re the one borrowing the money from around the world and giving it to other people.

You know a fast way to end the war in the Middle East right now? You know a fast way to stop the war in Ukraine, stop Russia’s aggression, to stop China’s aggression? All one had to do, which Donald Trump did do in his presidency, is say, we are going to open up every oil well, we’re going to baby drill, we’re going to produce more oil than we can even stomach, we’re going to produce all the gasoline that we possibly can, we’re going to put no bans in place, and the price of oil will go from $90 a barrel to $12. Do you know there was a time, there was one day in the Trump administration that a barrel of oil, the Futures, was negative $38 a barrel, that if you owned a barrel of oil, you had to pay $38 that day to get rid of it? Did you know that?

It’s true.

19:45 The true price of oil should not be more than $25 a barrel. If we produced all the oil that we could, and oil plummeted in value, Putin would have no money to fight a war. Iran would have no money to sponsor terrorists.And when these despots run out of money, you know what? They’re going to change their ways. They’re going to stop spending money on war. They’re going to be more worried about their own people.

So, we’re going to take a quick time out for a message about the Plain Truth Today, and when we come back, I’m going to wrap it up about the real Jesus and the false Christianity that you can protect yourself against falling in a trap to.

Hi, Bob Barney for The Plain Truth Today, the one place you can go to hear different points of view about what’s happening today, and if God has anything to do with some of the things that is happening today, because God does have things that he is doing for things going on today, and you can prove it yourself by reading the Bible and understanding that most prophecies that are written in the pages of the Bible have not yet been fulfilled. It’s very important to realize that most of the Bible, two-thirds of the prophecies of the Bible, have not yet been fulfilled. We know we’re in the end time, and we have to watch out for things, and the plain truth today does help you figure out what you need to know.

I wanted to get into what you can do about false Christianity and make sure you’re not part of false Christianity, and there’s a very simple rule. Do not listen to anyone, me included, if they cannot back up what they say with verses in the Bible. The Bible is the Word of God, and as the song says, they long to find fault with their teaching, but really, she makes no mistakes, and the Bible does not make any mistakes in the pure form of the Bible. Now, there are translation errors. I’ve mentioned that in other shows that I have done, and my Bible that we have, the Plain Truth Bible that you can see a link to here and buy, it comes in five volumes.

There’s a Kindle version also, but I don’t really recommend it because it’s like the original Bible yet there are no chapter and verse noted or anything like that. You’ve got to find your way around it, but you can do so, but the actually printed Bible that you get from Amazon, which I only make about a buck and a half a Bible or less, the rest of that money, and it is expensive, goes to Amazon to publish that book one at a time, but there are five volumes. Only the fifth volume is the New Testament. The Old Testament is still the lines part of the Bible. It is the biggest part that you’re going to read of the Bible that most Christians never read the Old Testament. They only read the New Testament, which is, like I said, a very small part of the entire Bible.

24:01 In order to understand God and God’s prophecies, you have to understand the Old Testament, and what we call the Old Testament, it’s still the Scriptures of God. They’re still in force. All of these prophecies are still in force, the prophecies not only of Isaiah and Jeremiah, for example, but the minor prophets as well. There are prophecies concerning our day today and also the end time. We know from the New Testament and some of the writings that we are in, the Apostle John makes this clear in his epistles, that we are in the end time now. That does not mean we are in the time that Jesus is going to return right now. Jesus could return at any time after certain things happen. When you hear someone say Jesus could return tonight, that’s a lie. Jesus is not going to return tonight. Jesus gave a set of rules you have to look out for, and they’re not all there yet. First of all, we need a temple, and there’s no temple in Jerusalem. We also need the idea of an abomination of desecration that occurs in the temple. Without a temple, you can’t have the abomination as spoken of by the prophet Daniel, as Jesus Christ mentioned.

So, we are in the end times, and John said we were in the end times in A.D. 90, but we are in the end times, but we are not necessarily in the time of Jesus’ return, although it is possible in your lifetime you could be finding yourself in that time frame. So in order not to be deceived and fall into false Christianity, and Jesus said that most people who call themselves Christians are going to be false Christians themselves.

25:21 They’re going to be following a false Christianity. They’re going to be following Christ as our churches teach Christ, but they’re not going to be following the law or the doctrines of Christ. That’s how you know it’s false Christianity.

For example, and I’ve said this over and over again, there is not one part of the Old Testament or the New Testament that commands us to follow a Sunday for the Lord’s Day. It is not there. You can search all day long, and you’re going to find there’s only one time talked about, which is God’s holy day, and it started in the Garden of Eden, for that matter, long before there was a Jew or there was a Hebrew. 

25:56 In the time of Adam and Eve, the parents of every living being on this earth, they were to observe the Sabbath day. God himself or themselves, God the Father and Jesus Christ, observed the Sabbath day at the end of recreation week, when they recreated the heavens and the earth, especially the earth, that was destroyed because Satan had so corrupted what God had made that God destroyed the original earth and the life form that was on it, including maybe that’s where dinosaurs and other life form that we see in fossil records come from. I’m not going to get into that here, but we know that the Bible clearly uses the word, and the earth became formless and void in Genesis 1. The earth had a pre-existence, and it was destroyed by God, and out of the destruction, God created a new heaven and a new earth, or at least a new earth. I don’t think it says a new heaven, to be honest, but a new earth, and this is the earth age that we are in today. The apostle John made it clear that we are in the end times ever since Christ came in the flesh in around AD 25 to AD 30, so we know we’re in the end times, but this is the things you look for. Are you following the Sabbath day? If your church is not following the Sabbath day, you’re probably in a false church. You’re probably in an offshoot of the Catholic church, the Holy Roman Empire church, the church where popes killed somewhat up to 60 million people who refused to follow the pope’s doctrines, his demonic doctrines at that, just because you’re following a Protestant denomination. If you’re following Sunday, you’re following Christmas, you’re following Easter, you can bet your boots. You may be a Christian, by the way, and you may have made it, and God reads the heart, and God knows that he can get his people out of any church organization, but if you’re following those holidays, and you’re following a Sunday Sabbath, you are following a false Christianity. It is not the Christianity that Jesus Christ taught. He taught on the Sabbath day.

Notice that.

26:45 He also said in a well-worn prophecy, pray that your flight does not happen in the Sabbath day. How could that be? Think a minute. He’s talking about a time of the Great Tribulation, the time just before he returns, and there’s Christians still on earth, because again, if your church teaches the theory of rapture, which is you’ll never find that word in any Bible phrase, or any Bible in any translation you want. If you think there’s a rapture coming, well, the rapture that’s coming is after Christ returns, when people are turned into spirit, at his return, but not until then. Christ is coming back to set the world straight, and to rule for a thousand years with his saints, and his saints are those people who did not dirty themselves in these false Christian churches, and Jesus said, beware, there will be many, not a few, many that would come in Jesus’s name, proclaiming that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, and deceive many. So, if you are following churches that follow Sunday, Easter, Christmas, Halloween, things like that, you are in a pagan church. You are not in a true Christian church.

You, yourself, may be a Christian. I am not going to say that many Christians are not going to be found in the Catholic Church or in the Protestant churches, but the churches themselves preach blasphemy against God. What they do is they preach another Jesus. Paul warns us in all his writings to be wary of those preaching another gospel, the gospel that was not first brought by the apostles or Paul himself, and to be wary of those churches, and that they are false Christian churches, and Christ said there would be many coming in his name, deceiving many, and many are deceived.

Most Christians are deceived, and there’s going to be a time when we see two witnesses appear.

You can see this in Revelations chapter 11 for yourself. There are going to be two witnesses who are going to walk the streets of Jerusalem, and they’re going to prophesy against the false Christian churches, as well as against the Antichrist. This is the antichrist we have taught about in many publishing’s that will come out of Europe, the European Union, probably Italy or Germany, and that is a signal that the tribulation is near. Revelation does tell you that God says, come out of her my people, come out of Babylon my people, so God’s people are found in these pagan churches, but you are hearing a voice right now telling you, if you now are hearing me, and you understand, and you start reading the Bible for yourself, and you see that you are following a church that does not follow what Jesus taught, and how Jesus lived, then you need to leave that church, and you need to go on your own, and read the Bible, and be your own church, as my wife and I did some 45 years ago.

29:23 So this is what I’m asking you to do, and if you do so, I think you’re going to protect yourself and your family, but most importantly, you’re going to protect an eternal life that’s promised to you. You don’t have it already, but it’s promised to you if you obey and love Jesus Christ and understood that He came to do away with your sins, and the sins of the world, but you have to obey what He says to do, and not what some man tells you to do in the name of Jesus Christ.
