Friday Wrap-Up with Bob: March 28, 2025 (Transcript)

It’s Friday wrap-up time again on The Plain Truth Today. This is Bob Barney for The Plain Truth Today, brought to you by theplaintruth.com…boy these Fridays are going by awful fast for me. It’s already the end of March. It’s hard to believe that the first quarter of 2025 has gone by, and it just seems like I’m still in January in my mind. I think more people are probably like that. Time just flies by.

But we’re going to get into the Friday wrap-up and talk about the big stories of the week and maybe some other stories you haven’t heard about. Probably so far the biggest story of the week, I’m taping this first part of the Friday wrap-up really on Thursday, so I may be wrong. But the very first story that I’m going to talk about is the so-called scandal, and it’s not, and I’ll explain that, about Pete Hegseth and Matt Waltz and the conversation or the meeting, the cabinet meeting they had about the policy about what they’re going to do with the Houdi’s and any attacks they were going to do. A reporter was linked into the text call. It wasn’t a call. It was text messages, evidently, and on Android phones at that.

It is something that should not have been done.

The biggest problem with that story is not the story that it was done. It’s the story that the first thing the Trump administration people did, like Pete Hegseth and President Trump himself, is they doubled down and said it was all fake news yet it wasn’t fake news. I think last night we had a Bill O’Reilly story up, and he says about the same thing I’m going to say. It’s not a big story. What makes it a big story is the so-called cover-up and denying that it really was true when it was true. The American people, I know there’s always going to be people, the never-Trumpers out there and the Democrats out there, that’s always going to find fault with everything Trump does and every mistake that he makes. But if Trump and his staff admit when they do make a mistake and become human in the eyes of the average American public, it’s actually going to endear them to Trump and to Pete Hegseth or Matt Waltz because everybody makes mistakes.

Admit to it. The American people will let you go on and continue and be happy with you. Don’t BS us. That’s all. And that’s what Bill O’Reilly said, and he was exactly right. Own up to whatever mistakes you make and say it’s never going to happen again and go on and just ignore all the people that’s going to talk against you. That’s hard for President Trump to do with his arrogant behavior, especially in this new administration, but it’s what he should have done. It is not a real story. The real story, however, behind the thing is the idea, and this shows the inexperience of the people around Trump in this new administration that he did not have in the first one.

There was a lot of people, he had a fire maybe because they were deep staters, but they had more experience as certain things than this new group does. And Bill O’Reilly mentioned that quite well in that program that we played, that the lack of experience is why he was against Pete Hegseth and why he was against many of the cabinet picks. They just do not have the Washington know-how of how to do things. And there are certain protocols you have to follow in order to have security and things like that, which is kind of foreign. And you just watch his show. It’s on the Plain Truth today. You go back and watch it and you can see what I’m talking about, what he had to say. But other than that, I don’t think you should have text message conversations. Out of that also came the story, I put it on the Message Board, but the story of Vance, evidently, was against the entire idea of attacking the Houthi’s, and he showed a distance between him and President Trump, which may or may not lead somewhere.

I don’t think it will. I think President Trump is really in line with Vice President Vance, and I don’t believe he’s going to mind somebody giving their real opinion if he respects you. That being said, the Daily Mail, even, and many other news sources are trying to make a big hoopla over the idea that Vance, like Joe Biden, was against the Obama assassination, and they’re trying to make Vance into that. And it’s not the case. But the mainstream media, or the lying fake news media, is always going to find fault, and you have to have a thick skin. You can’t be a thin-skinned president and be successful.

One of the things I still remember about Ronald Reagan is Ronald Reagan surrounded himself by the best. Caspar Weinberger was one of the best Secretary of Defenses of all time. George Shultz, even though he was very liberal, he did a great job as Secretary of State for, I’m sorry, for Ronald Reagan. He did. And anybody looking back in history has to say, you know, Jeanne Kirkpatrick in the UN, and all the different people that surrounded President Reagan actually were the best in the business, and they were great. Jim Baker, you just go back and you name it, and Ronald Reagan had a presentation to the of competence and of stability, and he had one ability that Ronald Reagan only had in my whole lifetime, and I think there’s no president that even compares to Ronald Reagan and his communication skills. Ronald Reagan could communicate his ideas very easily to the American public, and he went over the heads of the press, he went over the heads of Congress, he went over the heads of everybody, and went right into your living room or your car radio and when you heard him, you knew he was telling the truth, and you knew that you had a guy that was president that was in control. And that is something I think we’re lacking right now, and that’s something I think that’s why Wall Street’s going all over the place, and the price of gold, the next story of the Friday wrap-up, the price of gold is skyrocketing. About two years ago, we have a heading on the Message Board that says, and I told you so, or something like that, I don’t have it in front of me, and it’s basically my prediction way back two years ago to buy gold, that gold was going to go up because gold is the best investment to make when you know there’s going to be inflation.

Joe Biden brought us this runaway inflation, Trump did not bring us this runaway inflation, folks, he did not. He may be not helping it out right now with all his tariff nonsense, but he did not bring us the inflation that we have. This is part of the Biden legacy going forward, but gold is still, it’s at 3,000 plus an ounce right now. We put up a story the other day, I think it was Tuesday, that Citibank is still saying they believe gold will hit $3,300 an ounce by the end of the year. I actually believe it’s going to hit $3,500 an ounce by the end of the year. Why does Citibank say this? Why are they so bullish on gold? It’s because they understand inflation is not going to go away in this first year of the Trump administration. It’s just not going to be, and the tariffs is helping that continue with inflation. And as long as inflation goes up, and as long as the Fed does the stupid things that they are doing, and they have continually done for the last 25 years, we’re going to see inflation, and you’re going to see the best way to hide your assets from inflation is to buy gold. And I’m not selling gold, you can’t buy gold through The Plain Truth, and I’m not getting a kickback from people that sell gold. I’m giving you a good advice. Gold is still a good investment, and it will be a good investment until inflation gets under control, and then gold will level off. It may even drop a little bit in price, but 20 years from now, gold will be $5,000 to $7,500 an ounce or more.

So you’re not going to go wrong long-term owning gold. I’ll tell you that right now. It is what God tells you to own in the Bible. You go to the Bible and you find out that gold is the key investment advice that God gives to everybody, and God’s streets are going to be paved in gold. And as a matter of fact, there’s a quote in the Bible that says, silver will be as valuable as lead or wrought iron or something like that, but gold will be the thing that covers everything in the new city of Jerusalem that’s coming down from heaven during the millennium, or after the millennium actually, and when God the Father comes and lives with us. So gold is still the way to go.

Well, I’m back now, and as you can tell, this sounds a little different because it’s a different day, and this is the rest of the Friday wrap-up. Everybody out there really knows what DOGE is trying to do is find corruption, find where money is being wasted, and we all know that both RINO Republicans, Republicans in general, but basically the Democratic Party for the last 50 years have been robbing the American consumer, the American public, with all kinds of ways that they scam money from government agencies for their own pockets. That’s what, in my opinion, the whole Ukraine aid package was. I think the $100 billion that Zelensky says he can’t account for is because that was the payments back to the Bidens, to the Democrat causes. That’s the plain truth. But one of the things that came out this last week was that the Democratic slush fund, Obama was using USAID, that USAID with that judge, by the way, that’s ruling against Trump right now. His daughter works for USAID, right? And so does his wife.

So it tells you right again, just like that judge in New York, corruption is in our judiciary, in the lower levels especially, and it needs to be rooted out. These judges, by the way, need to be investigated by the FBI and indicted if you can find a paper trail of money going into their pockets for their decisions. And I think you will be able to find that. But anyway, Obama was using USAID to pretend to send aid overseas but was laundering the money for his own purposes instead. That’s a crime. That is a federal crime, folks, and it needs to be investigated. And I’d like to see Barack Obama especially investigated along with Joe Biden, because first of all, Biden was a crook as vice president, and all of this money from Ukraine and around the world, from Russia, the mayor of Moscow, and from China, all these deals really took place when Barack Obama was president. And in my opinion, he knew all about it, and he was himself getting kickbacks from Ukraine, from Russia, from China, and treasonous things that actually, I still think that in the Constitution, I don’t think it’s been a change, the penalty for treason is the death penalty. So we’ve had a lot of treasonous presidents in our last 25 years.

I would say the second George Bush, Bill Clinton, selling our ports to China and our missile technology to China, and Barack Obama, what he was doing with our enemies and going against our allies, and later on, Joe Biden was the coup d’etat of all of this happening. But if you rifle down and you look into what Obama was doing and all the corruption going on, you’re going to see, again, all kinds of billions, probably a trillion dollars went in the last 20 years to Democrat operatives, some Republicans, and basically scamming the American people out of their hard-earned tax dollars. And that’s what’s going to happen. And that’s why I still support Daesh. I don’t know if Elon Musk should be a part of it right now, but that is the case. Now, another story that I think needs to be talked about, because we almost have a Jeffrey Epstein. You remember Pam Bondi was going to release all this information on the Jeffrey Epstein file? Never came out, did it? And we’re all of a sudden not even talking about it. And the pro-Trump media like Fox News, Newsmax, and the like, AON, they don’t even mention about Epstein anymore. It’s off the table. Well, the next thing, we had this treasure trove, supposedly, of JFK assassination files released. You haven’t heard anything. Now, Bill O’Reilly said that’s because there’s really nothing there, but I don’t believe that.

I believe, again, you have promises of all kinds of evidence being released showing one way or another who killed Kennedy, and it’s not going to come out. It’s being covered up by the deep state. Pam Bondi and Kash Patel, they have a problem with the agencies they’re running, because everybody underneath them is going to fight them tooth and nail. That’s part of the deep state, and that’s part of what’s happening. And we’re covering that on the Plain Truth, and that was on, again, the Message Board. There’s another interesting thing that I think happened this week, and there’s kind of a controversy about this, and this is about history. There has been some groundbreaking, as a pun, investigation of what is below the pyramid, and now, like I said, the experts are kind of pushing back on the findings. We have, again, on the Plain Truth Message Board. There’s a lot on our Message Board.

There’s a lot on our front page, but we have maybe three or four stories a day on the front page. The Message Board gets news from us, but other people can put what they think is important up. And it looks like underneath the pyramid, the Great Pyramid, it looks like there is channels, like buildings or some kind of man-made things going down thousands of feet, possibly, or at least hundreds of feet, depending on who you listen to. And the conclusion of many is that the pyramids are a pre-flood building that did not occur, like the historians try to say, about 3,500 years ago, but they are actually 5,000 years old, and they survived the flood, and the civilization that made the pyramids were as advanced as our civilization is today. And one of the things that Jesus said in his famous Olivet Prophecy was that it would be like the days of Noah. The end time, it would be like the days of Noah. Now, what was like the days of Noah?

I did a story, a program on this a year ago, and I was bringing out that the ark, the technology of the ark that they found in Turkey, and there are the remains of the ark in Turkey. It’s a great news cover-up story that nobody wants to report, for the most part. But what you found was this boat was actually built out of space-age materials, titanium. They found titanium structures in that boat. It was not a wood boat, as people think it was. It was a modern type of boat that was 515 feet long, and it could hold the animals it said it held, and the flood happened. But there are reports from Greek sources, as well as from the Bible, that the advanced civilization that was before the flood, and that’s why God did a flood, he said, look at what these people can do. And then he came down, and he destroyed the Tower of Babel. But he also said the same thing with the flood.

He saw that the people were advancing, they were doing, in my opinion, everything we’re doing today, they were doing, because Jesus said it would be like the times of Noah. So I think they were into GMO crops, I think they were into DNA modifications, I think they were into transplants, I think they were into massive surgery, and I believe that their building techniques were even superior to what we can build today. I’ve read reports from many engineers that said it would be almost impossible for Americans or any business today, any construction firm, to rebuild the pyramids the way they were built. Think about that. I think you’ll find that the pre-flood peoples were very advanced, and that’s why God wiped them off the face of the earth. And I believe, why would God kill all the animals that was walking on this earth if it wasn’t that the people were genetically modifying these animals like we are today, and cloning them and stuff like that way back then, and God decided he had to put an end to it, because he had given us 6,000 years, it looks like, maybe a little longer, I’m not going to stick to that theory, but he gave mankind time to see their errors or their because he had planned a resurrection from the dead, a crucifixion at the beginning of sin, and he had a whole plan worked out that was going to take thousands of years to work out, and he realized at the time man was so advanced with one language and one monetary currency that if he left man alone another 100 years, they would destroy the world with atomic bombs.

That’s my opinion. Just an opinion, but I thought I’d get there. When you go to the Plain Truth, one of the headings that you can go to another website we have called Your Health Today, we had this story up this week, and the heading of the story was, not eating enough of these six foods may lead to heart disease in an early grave, a study warns. And it goes on, this was from the Daily Mail, not eating enough of these six foods may lead to all kinds of diseases, and these foods are something you’re not going to basically get when you go to a restaurant. And I really ask people to go to Your Health Today at least two or three times a week. It’s something we don’t put up every day, but we have some good stories about how you can help yourself living and eat the right things. And dairy is very important. Full fat dairy is very important. Cheese, by the way, is very important. Meat, protein, it looks like we need a lot of red meat as well. I get a laugh at people who think they’re going to be vegetarians, and they don’t realize in order to get iron, you need to have an animal consumption. And they say, oh, no, you can get iron from spinach. Well, you’re not going to get iron from spinach if the ground doesn’t have the blood of animals in that ground, because all iron in the ground that you’re going to have in a plant comes from an animal that died and left its body there and it turned into iron. And many farmers today, and even when I was a farmer putting myself through college, many of the farmers today that are growing spinach and other crops, they actually have to put down blood meal, which is dried blood, in order to put iron back into the ground. Just a little story that most people don’t know that only buys their food from a grocery store and don’t know what a farm does.

Milk doesn’t grow on a tree and neither does a lot of the things that we consume that comes in a restaurant. But at the same time, the foods that we’re told you’re not supposed to eat, like healthy fats, which are included in meats, included in olive oil, avocado oil, and things like that, are very important for our diet. But one of the most important things for our diet has nothing to do with what we eat. It’s about how much we move. And I learned this over the years by gaining a lot of weight and now losing it, because you have to exercise. You have to exercise at least an hour a day. If that even means walking, walking as fast as you possibly can. If you have to do a leisure stroll first until you build up the energy. And when I first started exercising a year ago, I couldn’t do, I couldn’t lift a hundred pounds more than once. And I work every day. I’m moving barrels around and stuff like that of, of, of solvents and resins, but I still lost a lot of muscle. And today I could take that a hundred pounds and I can, I can pick it up 50 times over me a day. And that didn’t happen right away. You have to build yourself up to it. You build your muscles, and you watch your fat disappear when you do so. So part of a healthy diet is a healthy exercise program. And if you don’t have one, you sit at a job all day long at a, at a, at a desk, you’re going to find yourself with a lot of medical problems. So I really do recommend that people do go to our, your health today website several times a week and see what we put there, because I think it can help you regain your health if you need to. And I’ll tell you a lot of young people need to regain their health because they don’t have it. There’s more colon cancer right now amongst people under 40 years old than above 40 years old. Think about that.

Lastly, I’d like to make a tribute to the obituary we put up of Tucker Carlson’s father, who was an extraordinary man in his own right. If you don’t know anything about him, he was a reporter. He was a world traveler. He knew everybody in the California scene during the 1960s and seventies, and he traveled throughout the world and, and his the article we have on the Message Board under, under his obituary is a must read for those who haven’t read it about the person who was most responsible for Tucker Carlson to turn out the way he did, especially as part of the media. His father worked for the Reagan administration, for Voice of America, as well as he, he did all kinds of work with people around the world. He was an ambassador. He was a reporter. He was a news editor. He ran everything. And he was quite an extraordinary man to say the least. And his wife that bore his two sons took a vacation to Europe in 1975 and never returned. And he didn’t meet the love of his life according to the article until 1979, who became his wife for 44 years.

And she, she passed away about 16 months before he did. And Tucker wrote that he never got over it. I know as yesterday was my wife’s birthday and I had a tribute tour, sorry for the personal note, but same thing for me. I don’t know what I would do without her in my life. I’m so dependent on her. And so I understand the people as you, as you age, death is at your door and you realize that you wish you had a lot of things to do over again. You do. And there’s many things I wish I had to do over again. Well, that’s the Friday wrap up.

I do want to get into the weekend and what we have planned last Sunday because I was doing so much work at the plant. We remember I make automotive paint. I didn’t get a Sunday show up until quite late. I’m sorry about that, but I don’t have a show figured out for Sunday yet, but I will make sure tonight I get something up. But tomorrow morning is going to be a special Sabbath show. Remember the Saturday is the Sabbath day. It is the day that God expects you to worship him. Not Sunday. Sunday is a pagan holiday based on the sun God and the Roman God, the Mithra God, the God going back to Babylon and to Nimrod.

Tomorrow morning, we’re going to have the scholar of scholars, Alexander Scourby, who narrates out of the King James version. When you listen to it and you can see the words in front of you, the way it is, it’s understandable. I have to admit the King James version, when you read it and you don’t hear it and look at it at the same time, sometimes it’s a very hard language to understand for a lot of people today. It is for me, I’ll be honest. But tomorrow morning, we’re going to have the entire book of John, the gospel of John. It’s about an hour and 20 minutes, something like that. It’s longer than most of our Sabbath morning shows. And he reads chapter by chapter, the entire gospel of John. The one gospel we talked about this week, we had a show about it and we talk about it a lot because that’s the one gospel that shows you the true identity of the person we know as Jesus Christ, the God in heaven today, sitting on the right hand of God, the and what his pre-Jesus role was in the Bible. And anybody who’s listened to the show knows what that role was. He is the Lord of the Old Testament. He is the Lord that said, let there be light. He is the God that made Adam and Eve in the image of God, him in the father. He is the God of Abraham. He is the God of David.

He is David’s Lord.

That’s why there’s a Psalm that says, the Lord said to my Lord, and that’s the only reference or one of the only references in the Old Testament of a God, the father, because the Lord was God, the father said to my Lord, Jesus Christ, the Lord of the Old Testament sit at my right hand. And so tomorrow, like I said, it will be the entire book of gospel of John in the Cain James version with a beautifully read storyline by the master of masters of reading the Bible. And when you hear his voice, you’ll recognize it from many different things. And he does a great job. And then what I like about it, it shows the Bible and it shows word for word as he’s reading it, the whole page, and it’s very easy to follow and it’s quite understandable. And it’s the, you know, the King James version is still the authorized version. It’s still the closest word for word translation. Yes, there are some mistakes in the King James version. Many times, the Holy Spirit is rendered. He, which gives rise to the people, people who try to teach the doctrine of the Trinity, which is nowhere found in the Bible. However, many times also in the King James version, the Holy Spirit is rendered it or himself itself, the spirit itself, not himself, as many of the new translations do, which is an error. That’s tomorrow morning at seven 11 in the morning, but you can hear it all day long. You don’t have to get up. It streams all the time. So you can go, you can click on it at noon tomorrow and listen. And it would be a great Sabbath study just to sit down with your family and listen to the words that are on the page and realize they are the words of God talking to you about the identity of Jesus Christ. It’s an amazing story. You cannot read the gospel of John and not feel moved, moved to tears…that is the truth. So that’s tomorrow.

Tomorrow night, we’re going to do another Twilight Zone show, and it’s a show from the eighties, so it’s in color, unlike the other Twilight Zone shows that we have put up in the past, but it’s a very good story. It’s a story that’s supernatural. I like those supernatural stories about a man who is trapped in a cave and he finds out he’s trapped in a cave with a man who’s trapped in a cave a hundred years earlier. It’s a very good story. And I really recommend anybody has the time to put it on and listen to it or watch it because it is a video. It is the actual TV show from the 1980s. And that’s tomorrow night at 7 11 PM. But again, you can watch it Sunday. You can watch it eight o’clock tomorrow night. You can watch it seven o’clock tomorrow morning. You can watch it all next week. You can always go back to theplaintruthtoday.com and find all of the broadcast that we do, all of these stories, and it’s really worth your time.
