Measles, Vaccines, Seed Oils, and Your Health Today (Transcript)

Hello, it’s Bob Barney with another edition of The Plain Truth Today brought to you by The Plain Truth dot come. Our broadcast today is additionally brought to you by our side site called Your Health Today and the reason why is because the big news last week and going forward most likely for the next week or two is this terrible so-called measles outbreak. It was reported that a child in Texas died, an unvaccinated child as they have stated, and it’s the first death in 10 years of anyone dying of measles.

What the news not telling anyone, which I find kind of absurd, is that basically no one ever did die of measles before.

If you read the statistics in 1962, for example, two children died per one million of measles.

Yesterday on the Plain Truth main page, our editor Jennifer Rae Vliet wrote a story about the measles epidemic going on, and that is where I read the statistics she had included in her reporting. Her article, which we have linked below, was in Sunday’s Plain Truth under Your Health Today, but it is also on the main page, and she writes:

I can remember exactly where I was when I caught a live segment with Dr. Sherri Tenpenny in 2020 when the mRNA vaccine was being discussed and why it was a bad idea to take it.

Bob: Remember, the mRNA vaccine is probably the worst of all vaccines ever created by mankind, and I am not an anti-vaxxer. I’ll get into that maybe if I have time in this show to explain what my idea of vaccines are and why I’m not an anti-vaxxer. At the same time, when you play around with people’s DNA and animals’ DNA, you’re doing something like in the time of Noah that’s going to bring the destruction of mankind. Of course, the only good news is the return of Jesus Christ at that point.

We see this today with all of these AI experiments and mRNA experiments and DNA, GMO, all of this stuff going on which has consequences! Those consequences are not very healthy.

Jennifer went on to say;

…all of the hype gone on over the news about the alleged resurgence of a deadly disease called measles is unnerving. However, all you have to do is come to the Plain Truth Your Health Today blog, which I’m plugging right now, and find out what God’s truth is…

 Now, I talked to Jennifer before I did this show, and I asked her a little bit about her commentary, and that I was going to do a show and mention it, and one of the things she mentioned to me, and I hope we can find it and we can put it up underneath this, maybe we can find the YouTube, in a Brady Bunch episode where one of the kids got measles, and we’re talking about the 1970s, and it was like nothing, it’s no news. Oh, he’s got measles, there’s nothing wrong, and the kids are playing with the kids with measles, unvaccinated, nobody, and matter of fact, I guess somebody even says in this, well, it’s not like you got to get a needle for this or anything like that.

(Since Jennifer and I spoke, it seems it is not possible to find the clip anymore because it was taken down all over the www. It was the full clip of the parents receiving Bobby after school where he was told by the nurse that he had measles and he needed to stay home for a few days. Then all of the siblings were around Bobby in bed playing a game acting as if it were no big deal…which it was not when we were going through it at that age. Apparently, this episode was pulled from many networks such as Hulu, etc. Here is a news clip of it where the actress that even played Marcia has come out in anger saying how irresponsible it was to make light of the measles back then. Bob: This was just how I remember when I got measles and people around me got measles, it was like with chicken pox. It was nothing. No one was worried about it. People worried about polio or people worried about other diseases, but they sure were not worried about measles. And you’re looking at somebody or you’re listening to somebody who got chicken pox twice in their lifetime! I got it when I was a child, and I got it again when I was 18 or 19 years old, and that was a little bit more serious to get a second time, because when you’re an adult, chicken pox as an adult can cause sterility. I have three children, so I guess it didn’t happen to me, but anyway, the only good thing my doctor told me at the time was it probably immunized me from getting shingles. We’ll find out because I’m not going to ever take a shingles vaccine. 

Jennifer goes on to quote Dr. Sherri Tenpenny, I have been hearing all over the news about this outbreak of measles, and people seem to be getting very worried about it. First of all, measles is not a disease, and we have to stop calling that. It’s an infection. It’s a fever, a cough, a rash, some diarrhea, some conjunctivitis that can leave some crusting on the eyelashes. Also, at the end of the fever, children get something called disclamation of the skin, which is the peeling off of the skin in their hands, which marks the ends of the measles infection. Here comes the statistic here. The death rate from measles was two out of every million back in a 1962 study by the public health records that were being done at the time.The measles vaccine cut down on the incidence rate of measles because it stopped the transmission. However, it really didn’t do anything to change the death rate.

Bob: I’m going to get into an article about that right now. Also, I want to show you how modern propaganda by our news media takes a statistic and twists it.

When your lying eyes or ears hear something in a statistic that shows something that they don’t want you to know, then they twist that statistic to say, it doesn’t say what it says. It’s so funny, but this is the propaganda that the media gives you because there is this incestuous relationship between the media and Big Pharma, who pays the media to be there in the first place. So, when you listen to the news, you’re listening to news that Big Pharma has approved with their billions of dollars’ worth of advertising that goes to that news agency.

Here’s an article that I find quite interesting. You talk about modern day propaganda. Michigan State Representative Thomas Hooker claimed that quote, some statistics indicate more children have died from immunizations or measles vaccines than they had died from measles itself, unquote. That was according to Gongwer News in an article published in early December of 2024. This statement came after Hooker introduced two bills in the Michigan House on health policy. In January 2015, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services issued new rules regarding the immunization opt-out procedures that were allowed in the state. The regulation requires parents who request a non-medical exemption form to first attend a meeting with local health department to discuss the potential risks that they are putting their children under. Boy, you know, I’m from the government and I’m going to help you out here. A second bill would prevent local health departments from restricting non-immunized students, immunized, I’m sorry, students from attending school.

This is a question that I wanted to get to. Do deaths from vaccinations outnumber deaths caused by measles. At first glance, the numbers seem to support the representative’s conclusion. Since 2000 until 2015, 12 recorded measles deaths occurred. That’s about one a year, by the way. We just had one in 10 years. Just think of that. The U.S. has seen 12 recorded measles deaths, but 104 deaths reported after the administration of the measles vaccine. However, in the newspaper’s examination of the data, we find several confounding variables that suggest, the big word here is not prove, the big word is suggest, that there is more to the story.

More to the story. (Bob laughs). This is when you take a fact that is not very convenient, and you twist the facts, as Mark Twain said, there are lies, damn lies, and then there’s statistics. So, you’re going to twist the facts, or you’re going to twist the statistics to say, well, they don’t mean what they say they mean. That’s like, how theologians often do that with the Bible. The Bible says something in plain black and white, and it says it in English, or it says it in Hebrew or Greek, whatever it was written in, and then the theologians come and say, well, yes, Jesus said that, but that’s not what He meant. 

For example, Matthew 5. Jesus says, do not think I’ve come away, I’ve come to do away with the law or the prophets. Meaning, do not think I came to do away with the law. So, what does modern Christianity teach in every church that you go to, probably? If you go to a Sunday keeping church, I guarantee you they teach you that Christ came to do away with the Mosaic law. He came to do away with the law, period. He came to do away with the Ten Commandments, because the fourth one of the Ten Commandments is, honor the Sabbath day and keep it holy. So how do you, as a theologian, say that Christ didn’t mean what He said? That is the same idea where an article is saying, well, yes, you know, 104 children died from getting the vaccine, and 12 died of the measles itself without the vaccine. By the way, the 12 deaths from measles did not even include if they were vaccinated or not.

I couldn’t find having looked very thoroughly I might add, but you know, Google and all the other search engines kind of scrub any kind of article that hints at going against the mainstream media’s propaganda. But of those 12 children who died, how many of those children were vaccinated that also died? And of those 12 children who died in 15 years, how many were unvaccinated? We just heard there was one measles death in the last 10 years of an unvaccinated child. You notice they mentioned that it was one death in 10 years of an unvaccinated child. They did not say in the last 10 years if children died of measles that were vaccinated, because that may be a statistic they don’t really want you to know.

Your government, your news media, everything you basically listen to has been lying to you, and yet we still trust them, or some of us do. I don’t, and I hope if you’re listening to this broadcast, you don’t. There was only one thing in this world that I’m going to trust. There’s only one being, or two of them, actually, that I’m going to trust. That’s God the Father and Jesus Christ. I’m not going to trust what some angel says. I’m not going to, because Satan was an angel. Satan can quote the Bible better than anybody you know. He can quote it better than me, and he can quote it better than any theologian you’ve ever looked up to. But I’m not going to listen to what Satan said.

You know the very first lie of the Bible, I say this over and over and over again, the very first lie of the Bible, is that you can’t die.

Isn’t that true? You know, God told Adam and Eve, this is the fruit that you cannot eat, the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil, and if you partake of that fruit, you will die without question. And when Eve is walking through the garden, one day the serpent and the devil came in the disguise of a serpent in order to fool Eve and said, did God say you would die if you ate of that tree? And she said, yes. He said, if we even touched it, which he never said, by the way, we would die. So obviously, when the devil said, you will not die, the very first lie of the Bible, you cannot die, because you can die, there is no immortal soul, another lie propagated by the church and by Christians everywhere, that you have an immortal soul that goes to heaven or hell when you die. That is not in the Bible. That’s not what’s going to happen to you. You’re going to go and you’re going to sit in a grave and rot to the bone until the resurrection of the dead occurs. And if you’re a Christian, you’re going to rise from the dead at the return of Christ. You can read that over and over again in the Bible. If you’re not a Christian, you’re going to rise again for judgment after the thousand years of Christ’s reign known as the millennium. That is all the Bible says about what happens to the state of the dead. Everything else is a lie of mankind.

There is no immortal soul. And the devil said, you can’t die, first lie. So obviously she touched it. Nothing happened to her. So she did the very first scientific experiment, as Herbert Armstrong used to say, and I’m sure he stole that from somebody, but he said, you know, science has procedures. You observe, you postulate, you experiment, and then you conclude and write a thesis. So, she observed the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. It looked very good. And with the devil’s help, she postulated that it would taste great. But she had in the back of her mind, she would die if she ate it. But this being is convinced in her God is lying to her. And we always want to believe God is the one lying to us because we really don’t want to follow God. We don’t want to follow God till the day we die. We want to be our own free moral agent. And that is what the devil plays off of. That’s the devil’s strength. And our weakness is our arrogance. I had a show on arrogance in the president last week, but arrogance is our demise. We just don’t want to trust God because we don’t want to listen to God…and Eve didn’t want to listen to God. So her scientific experiment was that she observed the fruit and she postulated that it tasted great because the devil told her it did. She then experimented. She ate of it and she tasted it and it probably did taste phenomenal and she thought to herself, that’s great. But like all experiments, then there is a conclusion to the experiment. What are the results of that scientific experiment? In Eve’s case, it was the death, the death of all mankind that would follow her. The death. She brought death into the world of humanity because of disobeying God’s law.

The very law that Christ did not come to abolish.

The law that your pastor probably is teaching you or believes himself privately if he’s not teaching you has been done away with by Jesus Christ on the cross. A lie.

So, we go back to this Your Health Today article that we’re talking about with the measles. Measles, as you can see, is a disease that’s been around forever. It is not the serious disease they make it. Yes, there will be people dying from it. There are people who die every year from the common cold. There are people, more children die every week in a hot car than dies of measles in 10 years.

So it’s time we get our priorities straight, what we need to do to protect people. We need to stop criminal aliens coming over the border, which President Donald Trump has aptly done. We need to stop crime. We need to get tough on crime and in criminals.

We need to execute people who kill people. We need to do the things we have to do that the Bible tells us to do. We need to follow the law that Christ did not come to abolish. The Ten Commandments and all the law of the Bible. The Bible goes through law after law of how to deal with people who hurt other people, harm other people, steal from other people. The first five books of the Bible is called the Torah. It consists of the books of Moses and it goes through some 600 plus laws that we are to follow. Simple things like how to eat and what to eat.

That’s another thing to focus on…what should we eat and what should we not eat? I’m going to change the direction now away from measles and to this seed oil controversy, because we’re starting to learn because of President Donald Trump and because of Bobby Kennedy, the connection between big business, the bad foods that we’re eating and the diseases that are happening because of it.

Do you know in 1960, 100% of all fried foods that you bought, potato chips or French fries from McDonald’s or fried fish or fried chicken, you know, 100% came from animal fat. None of it came from cooking it in peanut oil or olive oil or other seed oils, sunflower seed oil. We didn’t have the health issues we have today. But what happened? Well, I’m going to play what happened here, because what happened is that the farmers who grew those seeds lobbied and gave money to the American Heart Association. So they put a drive. And do you remember? I’m old enough to remember when McDonald’s had all of their French fries cooked in animal fat, a cattle fat called, you know, tallow. They were constantly being bombarded. I remember just one person put ads on the back of the New York Times front page, on the back of the front, the front page. You pull off the whole ream. I don’t know what it’s called. I had to sing how McDonald’s is killing people by using tallow and what nobody understood was this guy was getting all of his money from the peanut industry and from the cottonseed industry and from the soybean industry, all these people who wanted to sell more of their crops that were government.

First of all, they were getting money from the government to grow instead of the good crops. So they wanted to get the American Heart Association to go against tallow, which was actually healthier than what they’re cooking in foods today.

I want to play something for you here in a minute that I think is going to shock you. This is what you need to know about when you buy French fries from McDonald’s, or you buy potato chips cooked in cottonseed oil or peanut oil or some other type of vegetable seed oil. This is how this oil is produced. And tell me if you think this sounds good to you.

This is from the Fox, Fox and Friends Weekend Edition. I mean, this is really exciting, you know, changing from, you know, the seed oils over to tallow. I want you to explain to our viewers why that would be important. What are the benefits of tallow and what are the detrimental impacts of seed oils? Rachel, this is great news. It’s the free market responding to RFK’s call to make America healthy again, and everyone should be going to shake and stick and shake and Sweet Green, True Food Kitchen, other restaurants that have taken seed oils out of their supply chain. Yeah, to answer a question, Rachel, we got to get to the corruption. 100 percent of fats in the American diet were animal based in the 1960s.Things like tallow and butter. But then the seed oil makers paid off the American Heart Association and the American Heart Association started saying animal fats were bad. They parted with the sugar industry and said that it’s the animal-based fats, the problem, not sugar. McDonald’s and all these fast food restaurants, they didn’t change from tallow in the 1980s and 1990s for cost. They changed because they were getting pressured from the American Heart Association, which was corrupted. This has been a disaster. Everyone should Google how seed oils are made. They heat seeds up till they become a sludge, then soak them in rust remover and they soak it in bleach and they soak it in deodorizer. These oxidize, they’re very inflammatory, and it’s very clear now butter and tallow are anti-inflammatory. We’ve lost our way when McDonald’s fries have 17 ingredients now. A chick-fil-a sandwich has over 60. This is the free market leading the way to reclaim our system from broken incentives. Yeah, and you’ve also pointed out that switching to tallow is actually, it’s the same, it’s not like you’re buying something more expensive because in the end, it lasts longer than the seed oil. So you actually, it’s actually no difference in cost, right? Yeah, I’ll sell every restaurant. I know the HHS is open for business now to help advise on this and help celebrate this. One analysis they pointed out is that because the seed oil is so rancid, they oxidize quickly and they have to be changed quickly. Tallow lasts a lot longer. So the cost actually is about equal. We’re in this mess, Rachel, I think because of the corporate capture of our medical institutions like the American Heart Association and the HHS is ready and I know Bobby’s ready to help unwind from this. That’s government definitely giving better guidance, but it’s also free market actions like this. No question. You have the top five other changes that restaurants can make. You can remove artificial, this is your list, you can remove artificial dyes. This is for the restaurants. Eliminate antibiotics for meat and cheese production. You can use real butter instead of liquid margarine and also remove all MSG and replace dough conditioners. You know, Kelly, this is not just that these food chains are following the market, but I’m seeing small restaurants. My husband comes from a little town, Hayward, Wisconsin. There’s a restaurant called Social Kitchen Cocktails. They are advertising, this is a tiny town, no seed oils. And I guess there’s an app where you’re looking for a restaurant, they’re on that app, other restaurants are on this app. Talk about how you guys are making it easier for people to find restaurants that are not serving seed oils. Well, yeah, everyone should download the Seed Oil Scout app. It’s a great app. And you know, I think you’re exactly right. I think the core point of this is that this food tastes better. Yes. And often these swaps don’t require much of an investment. You know, let’s get back to fresh food and celebrate that. Yeah. Amen to that. You guys are just off to an incredible start. We’re just going to keep following this because America is going to get healthy again. And it’s thanks to what you and Bobby Kennedy are doing over at HHS. We’re just so proud of it. Thanks so much, Kelly. Thank you, Rachel. Well, that was over the weekend.

Bob: You know, one of the things nobody’s talking about, Bobby Kennedy, because of course he’s a Catholic and he believes the law has been done away by Christ as well. But God also talks about our diet. We talk about it all the time on The Plain Truth because Leviticus, Leviticus tells you God’s words in red, what we should eat or what we are to eat and what we are not to eat. Believe it or not, he gives a list of the animals we should never eat. And they’re the animals we are really worried about. You know, hear President Donald Trump and hear everybody complain about the price of bacon. We are talking about pork bacon. Well, you know, according to God, you’re not supposed to eat any pork whatsoever. Nothing that comes from a pig is edible to you. It is a disgrace. According to God, it makes you unclean if you eat anything that comes from pork. If you eat any shellfish, if you eat any crab, if you eat any oyster or lobster, it is against God’s law of his diet of what you are to eat, what you’re not to eat. If it basically is not an animal that chews the cud and has cloven hoofs like cattle or sheep or goats, you can’t eat it. It’s that simple. And, you know, also God tells you not to eat the fat.

So, yes, it’s OK to have butter and things like that and that kind of animal fat however, He wants you to even when you take the meat off of a cow or a sheep or a goat, you’re supposed to cut all of the visible fat off of it and burn it to the Lord. It’s simple as that. That’s the Lord’s portion. He doesn’t want you to eat pure fat as well. If we listen to God and stop listening to science, which changes every 10 years, maybe we would find ourselves being a little bit healthier and try to follow the diet that, you know, Abraham followed or Jesus followed the diet with a lot of fish in it. For example, a lot of vegetables in it and a lot of good bread in it.

You know what good bread is? Good bread is einkorn wheat, not the modern durum wheat we have with so many chromosomes that makes it GMO worthless. A wild wheat that grows to this day in Italy and in the Mediterranean, especially Turkey and the Middle East. It was called einkorn or emmer wheat, which is, I believe I’m right here, a 13 chromosome wheat.

You make flour out of that. You don’t grow it in Roundup and turn it into a poison with all the chemical fertilizers and herbicides and pesticides you spray on the wheat. People today, I tell us in other shows, people today don’t even realize that the farmer today does not allow wheat to naturally dry before he harvests it. One day the wheat is green, then they spray it with Roundup, a weed killer. And then two days later, the wheat is dead, brown as can be, then they harvest it. All of that Roundup ends up in your food supply, ends up in your body. 90% of the problems that you’re having right now, including cancers, inflammation, and everything else is coming from not only the GMO wheat you’re consuming, but all the chemicals and pesticides, especially the glyphosate, the Roundup that you’re consuming. We have got to get this stuff out of our food. We have got to listen to God.

In Your Health Today we go over all of these things about measles, about vaccines, about COVID-19, about plandemics that happened with COVID-19, and about our health and what God has to say about it, because God has a lot to say about our health. Do you know the people that left Egypt, walked for 40 years and their clothes never walked out, wore out, their shoes never wore out because God made it a miracle not to happen? God takes care of you when you follow God’s way. And if you follow God’s diets and you follow the health plan and you listen to God and you obey God and you obey God’s laws, guess what? God will bless you with a good life.

I’m not saying you’re going to live past 70, because the Bible actually says 70 is a great lifespan. As I approach 70 years old, I’m hoping that I can be an exception to that rule, but I guess if not, I’m still inside the Bible. I heard yesterday someone talk about, with AI, we are about ready to be able to live to 120 to 140 and beyond. It’s BS, my friends, because God, at the time of Noah, fixed the lifespan of any human being to about 120 years. You see people like Abraham lived to 180, then Jacob lived, I think, to 130 or something like that, and then Joseph to 110. You see that go down under 120 years and basically into the 50s to 70s by the time of the kings. The reason for that is God fixed the lifespan of 120 years. And you know, you have a lot of people that live to 112, 114, 115, not a lot of people, but a few. But you never see an official person ever make past 120.

I don’t believe there’s ever been one past 120. There’s a reason. God put that as our limit. Always trust God over any science and you won’t go wrong.
