To get this started this week, I wanted to get into a couple of topics this week before we go over what’s on the weekend shows. I always do that because tomorrow is the Sabbath day and we try to promote what God wants us to do. That’s part of the news, you know. 

Newspapers used to have horoscopes. Well, this news site has what God has to say, not what some devil has to say. So anyway, the things I would like to talk about, there are two things I should say I would like to talk about today is free speech and the MAGA movement as well as what is going on with the economy because we had a interest rate lowering of 0.25 percent and what do you think this is going to let’s watch the price of gold and things like that.

On the free speech topic, I would just like to point out the hypocrisy of so many of the people that call themselves MAGA Republicans. I hate to use that because I think there are good people that are MAGA Republicans. I really rather call them ever trumpers.

Ever trumpers and I’ve done articles on this and I’ve done shows on this. In my opinion, ever trumpers are about as stupid as the never trumpers. I am not a never trumper and I’m not an ever trumper. 

I’m an ever God. I’m an ever Jesus Christ and God the Father, but I’m no ever any human being on the face of this earth and the Donald Trump administration this time around, unlike the first time around, to me has been a great disappointment, especially when you talk about tariffs and the economy, but also when you get to the absolutely division of this country that is being done by these ever trumpers as well as Donald Trump and his cabinet in general are causing division in this country. Great presidents are not great dividers. 

One of the reasons I don’t think Abraham Lincoln was a great president because Abraham Lincoln brought us the Civil War and he was a great divider. Believe it or not, that’s where I stand. I’ve done programs about the war crimes and the crimes in general that Abraham Lincoln did to so-called save the union. 

He actually destroyed the union by trying to save it, in my opinion. He made federalism the law of the land and states lost all their rights because of the Civil War that our forefathers never intended to happen. But in the case with Donald Trump, he promised to be a uniter.

He is not trying to be a uniter at all. You don’t send national guard to places where you’re not welcome. You don’t militarize the cities of America.

You don’t shoot Venezuelan boats in international waters because you suspect them, never in a court of law, but you suspect them of being a drug boat. And the truth of the matter is, what I’ve seen from this administration so far, I wouldn’t believe anything they say. I don’t believe anything they say about any topic, from the Jeffrey Epstein case all the way to what’s going on with Ukraine and Russia, to the tariffs, to the economy, anything you want to talk about.

They are doing nothing but dividing this country.

And the poor people and the middle-class people of this country are suffering something terrible. We had Jimmy Kimmel, which ABC had every right to knock Jimmy Kimmel off, but the point being that the ever-Trumpers out there are cheering of now endorsing cancel culture when they were so opposed to cancel culture of getting people fired when it was the Biden people and the Democrats doing it to the mega people and how they stood up for how important the First Amendment was and the right to free speech was, and all of a sudden they’re in charge and all they want to do is put people in jail who say things that they don’t want anything to hear about.

We played this show this morning, if this gets rebroadcast, it won’t be this morning’s show, but we played this show this morning, Megyn Kelly’s show, where she just takes Pam Bondi to task using the F-words and every other F-bomb you can think of about how just ridiculous her stance is against people with hate speech. Well, true Republicans and true conservatives and true populists do not even believe there is a term called hate speech. You are free in this country to speak the most unspeakable things.

That is your right, as long as you don’t yell fire in a crowded theater causing other people to be harmed. But the idea of the First Amendment, the First Amendment does not protect the average person’s right for free speech. It does do that, but that’s not the purpose that our forefathers had in mind.

The First Amendment to the Constitution has to do with speech. You hate and the majority of Americans hate, and the forefathers said it was important that the people who had ideas that were just an affront to every human being in this country had a right to say it, and people go to war saying, I may not agree with what you say, but I’ll die defending your right to say it. That was what MAGA used to stand for.

That is what Republicans used to stand for. It was the Democrats who wanted cancer culture. Now, all of a sudden, ever-Trumpers want cancer culture.

In another story we had up on The Plain Truth, remember this Lisa Cook FedEx, FedEx, I’m sorry, the Fed person that Trump fired because she lied on her mortgage applications for two homes? Well, it turns out that his Secretary of State, Treasurer Secretary Scott Bessett did the same thing when he had two homes. He had two different houses as his principal residence at the same time mortgage documents show back in 2007. It’s amazing how this will be overlooked by everyone.

This is not gonna be important because he’s on Trump’s side. And even the ever-Trumpers out there are gonna say, oh, it’s okay for him to do it, but it’s not okay for Lisa Cook to do it because she’s not on our side. If we don’t see the hypocrisy in all of this, it’s just too much.

And I’m just gonna get into one thing here. This is a short part of the Friday wrap-up. But everyone in the real estate industry knows, and every banker that I know knows, and every businessman that I know knows, is that for 50 years or more, everyone who did a second residence home, I don’t have one, so I’m not defending myself here just for a point of clarity.

But anybody basically who did a second home, a vacation home or whatever, said it was gonna be their primary residence when they applied for the loan. It may not be the right way to do it, but it’s the way everybody did do it. In fact, it was so prevalent that I don’t believe that anybody has ever been charged relying on a mortgage that they said this was gonna be their primary home and their primary home was not going to be anymore.

It’s just that simple. And so the only reason, it’s as clear as the nose on your face, the only reason that President Trump fired the woman on the Fed is because she was a Democrat appointee who votes against him during the Fed meetings for lowering interest rates. But here’s a little caveat about lowering interest rates and how it does not help the average consumer out there.

In fact, it’s gonna snowball and hurt the consumer. I did a show a few weeks ago, you wanna change this economy, you wanna make it better for everybody, in the long run, you would raise the interest rates to a degree where you would cause a major recession that would cause the dollar to fall, I’m sorry, to rise in value and prices to fall in value and get back to a rational state. And if you would do that, gold would actually probably go down $1,000 an ounce.

The only reason gold is at the price that it is at $3,700 an ounce. And remember on this program, I keep telling people, if you had money, buy gold. I started saying that when gold was $1,780 an ounce a year and a half ago.

And look where it is today, $3,700 this morning. But anyway, to get into this is everybody knew this is a thing that everybody did when they bought a second home for the last 50, 60, 70 years. They would say for a while it was their primary residence and then they would go back living where they were, but they’d get the better sweetheart mortgage deal.

It’s something the banks turned a blind eye to and everybody has. And Scott Bessett’s gonna get away with this, but Lisa Cook, according to ever-Trumpers, should not be able to get away with it. Why? Because she’s on the wrong side.

It’s like David Michael Lynch, I believe, DML. That’s a conservative ever-Trumper type guy himself. Every day I like to read his polls because they’re funny.

96% of his respondents in one poll said that Donald Trump is doing everything right. The tariffs are right. Everything is going well, 96%.

Only 38% of the country. Shows you how good his poll is. But the funny thing is a couple of years ago with the cancer culture, we just talked about this, but it came to my mind.

A few years ago with the cancer culture, his respondents on a poll were so much against cancer culture, saying it absolutely was protected by free speech, was protected by the First Amendment and you could say anything. And the Democrats had no right to throw people off social media, to throw Donald Trump off of social media, which is a private entity and they can throw anybody off they want, by the way. But then the ever-Trumpers said there was an absolute right to the First Amendment.

Now after the Jimmy Kimmel affair, the poll this morning, 76% of the same type of people who voted two years ago, now have changed their mind and people not only should not be allowed to speak against Donald Trump or Charlie Kirk’s death in any way, not only should they be fired from their job, that poll also said they should be prosecuted for what they say about it. Did you hear that? That is my definition of the ever-Trumper, who is as dangerous to this country as never-Trumpers ever were. In fact, I’m going to make the statement now, I think they’re more dangerous.

They’re more dangerous because they are hero-worship of a man and they’re treating him like he’s Jesus Christ and he’s not. And Jesus Christ will have no competition. And humbleness is what God requires out of our leaders and out of our people.

And we’re not showing any right now. We’re a divisive country and a divisive country will not stand. You know, Abraham Lincoln once famously said, a house divided against itself will not stand.

Abraham Lincoln, by the way, pirated that message. That wasn’t his own idea. He was quoting the Bible.

Yes, it’s found in the Bible, by the way. One of the big stories that we cover all the time in the Plain Truth, was on the message board. And it’s about the latest news about solar storms set to batter the earth, making blackouts and causing the northern lights to look spectacular, even when you’re waking up.

And we have covered EMP strikes from the sun, not just from nuclear weapons that can cause a grid to go down. For many years now, because I personally believe, unlike global warming, which is nonsense, and it’s not going to kill a person at all, unlike global warming, a solar storm with the veracity of the solar storm, I believe it was 1858 or 1859, you can do a search on it, would destroy probably the lives of 20 million people in the United States of America within a month. And it’s something that nobody’s doing anything about to study or to think about, hey, what’s going on here? And we need to keep our eye on solar storms.

And by the way, I got a little sidetracked, but the Fed lowered interest rates, I think I mentioned earlier, by a quarter of a percent. And guess what happened? Guess what happened when they lowered it? On the same day, they lowered the interest rates by a quarter of a percent. The house mortgage rates went up by an eighth of a percent.

And today, they’re going up again. And yesterday, the day before yesterday and today, the mortgage rates now have gone up a quarter of a percent. So the Fed lowered their interest rates by a quarter of a percent because Donald Trump said it was important for people who want to buy homes.

But now the interest rate went up on home mortgages by the same rate that they went down on big businesses and big banks that borrow money from the Fed. Because you and I do not borrow money from the Fed. The home interest rates, and this is a little known fact, are set on the bond rate.

And when the Fed lowers the interest rate that they give to their banks, you would think that would lower the mortgage rates, but that’s not what they’re based on. Mortgage rates are based on the bond rates, when people buy bonds. Well, guess what happens? The interest rates on bonds went down by a quarter of a percent.

So those people who were invested in bonds because they paid more money than they thought they could make anywhere else now decided we’re going to get rid of our bonds and we’re going to buy stocks again, or we’re going to buy other things that’s going to go up and give us more money. And when the bonds get a run on the bonds, their interest rates actually go up. And so that is why mortgages went up.

It’s supply and demand. It’s capitalism. And now I’m waiting for Donald Trump to complain to the banks for raising the interest rates on mortgages, not realizing that most of the mortgages are not even controlled by banks today, but they are controlled by the bond rate.

This is what happens with the ignorance of the American people about their own economy. They do not understand what drives their economy. They just do not.

And one of the other things that’s happening, that lowering the interest rates are going to cause when inflation is still rampant at over 3%, and we have what I think a problem because tariffs are really stifling the lower and middle-class Americans from being able to buy what they need. So what you’re going to see happen with this lowering of interest rates, you’re actually going to see a pickup on Wall Street, but a lowering of the life of the average American out there, what he can buy, because the dollar now is going to devalue once again. When you have low interest rates, the dollar becomes worthless.

And you take the 1970 dollar versus the dollar today, the 1970 dollar is worth 75% more than today’s dollar. That means if you were alive in 1970, what you could buy for a dollar now cost you $1.75. Think about that. And in many cases, it’s even greater than that when you look at car prices and home prices and stuff like that, 1970 versus today.

Inflation is caused by the Fed, but it’s also caused by when the Fed gives out free money. We went through this before when Obama was president, and we’re going through it again, and it’s just going to absolutely harm the economy for most Americans. I’ll be right back.

There’s a few minutes left to it, and we’re going to get over what we’re going to do over the weekend, but let me finish with a few more subjects. I did a series of podcasts this week on the book of Ezekiel, different things that we should know about the prophet Ezekiel and what it means for our day, because it is very important, and I think that many people do not understand this when they read the Bible, especially the Old Testament. So many people just are intimidated by trying to understand what it’s about, but if you understand the time frame of Ezekiel, you’ll realize he was a Jew.

He was a Jewish captive in Babylon, and he was alive about 100 years or more after the fall of the northern tribes called Israel that became the famous Ten Lost Tribes of Israel. And what people don’t understand when they read his prophecies, his prophecies are about Israel going into captivity, Israel going into slavery, and end time prophecies. And so many people assume that the Jewish nation today is the nation of Israel.

They do not understand Bible prophecy and what the news really means, because the truth is, when you read all of the books of like Kings and Chronicles, you will see that there were two separate nations after Solomon. Solomon and his son were the last to reign over a unified or united kingdom, like England, intent. But after Solomon’s son did not listen to his elder advisors and text the living death out of the northern tribes of Israel, they broke away from the land of Judah.

So there became two separate nations in your Bible. You can read about the nation of Judah, which are the modern day Jews, and the nation of Israel, which were the Ten Tribes that became lost when Babylon, I’m sorry, when Assyria captured them and moved them out, and then later on moved them into Europe. And they became the Lost Ten Tribes, which you can find all over Europe and America.

But the Jews to the south never lost their identity. They never lost the Sabbath. And they are the Jewish prophecies that you find in Ezekiel.

So when Ezekiel is given prophecies for Israel, they were already gone. So it was very important to understand when you’re trying to decipher the book of Ezekiel, you have to realize it’s for a future time, a time that Ezekiel was not gonna live in, or anybody in the next 2,500 years were gonna live in. It was about the end time.

And it was talking about Israel in the end time. And they did not mean the Jewish people. They meant the people of Dan, the people of Naphtali, of Reuben, of Joseph, which is Ephraim and Manasseh, of Issachar, Asher, the other tribes, the other nations, and they can be found today.

And so when you see these prophecies against Israel, it’s really prophecies against the United States, United Kingdom, France, Denmark, Western Europe. And we’re seeing them happen in our day. And that’s why I did the two stories that I did.

And I do hope people go back and listen to those podcasts on Ezekiel and Ezekiel 37, because there is just so much misinformation out there, what Ezekiel means and what Ezekiel 37 definitely means. One of the lesser reported stories I did put on, the plain truth, or my wife did, is a, and I think a kind of a scandal. The Trump administration ordered the national parks to remove a photo of an enslaved man’s scars.

It’s a very famous photo that was taken back in the 1850s or 60s. I forgot what year it is, but it’s a black man whose back is toward you in the photograph and his back is just full of welts from scars from the whippings. And it’s part of history.

And the Trump administration is ordering the removal of any information on slavery at multiple national park sites in an effort to scrub them of what they call corrosive ideology, which sounds to me not much different than the people on the left tearing down statues of Robert E. Lee and all of these people that they claim should not have statues anymore in America because they were hateful people or they condone slavery or they were just Southern soldiers. Had to change the name of army bases and names of roads and everything else because of the cancel culture again when it came to signs and statues and American history. And now we have on the opposite side, just like the Democrats did before him, an effort by the Trump administration to remove things in our history that just isn’t comfortable for people to want to talk about.

And I’m sorry to say this, but history is history. And when you go there and you try to remove the facts of history, you are bound that you’re going to live that history all over again. We have to learn from our history.

And if you’re going to remove statues on the left or you’re going to remove photographs on the right of scars on a slave, then what you are doing is you are not doing a service to your people. You are scrubbing history and they are going to not remember or learn from this history. And we’re going to repeat the mistakes of history.

The whole idea of a history book, the whole idea of history in class, the whole idea of knowing where we came from, understanding the old news, you could say, is to learn from our mistakes, not to do them again. And that’s just simply not going on. What I am seeing going on in this country right now is not good for the future of this country.

And I can guarantee you it does not make God very happy with the direction this country has gone under both Democrat and Republican rule in the last 25 years. So now we’re going to get into what the weekend’s about. Tomorrow is the Sabbath day.

I want to explain tomorrow morning we’re going to have a Sabbath show. It is one of mine. It’s called the Honesty and God.

Honesty and God. And how when I was growing up, and I guess I’m considered an old fellow today, but when I was growing up, honesty actually was the norm and dishonesty was the cancer that everybody really wanted to do away with. People did not want to deal with dishonest people.

But we’ve come to a nation now where dishonesty is probably 10 times more of a problem than it ever was just 35, 40 years ago. I told a story in this podcast that I had a farm stand and before we really had a lot of business, we would put what vegetables came in our garden out on our stand with nobody there, with a cash box, with money in it to make change. And at the end of the day, there was always more money in that box than there should have been.

People overpaid to make sure their honesty was captured. They overpaid for the vegetables they took. The honor system back then, you actually made more money than if you had a person there charging the actual right price.

And I think if you did that in most cities, at least today, I know there are countryside road markets that probably can still do it. In parts of the country today, but mainly if you did it in most urban and suburban areas today, your cash box would be gone, your money would be gone, and all your vegetables would be gone. And that’s this whole idea of tomorrow’s programs, the Sabbath morning program at 7.11 a.m. called Honesty in God.

And God, that’s one of the big 10 commandments, you know, thou shall not steal. And we steal from each other when we steal. And it’s a big plague right now.

We have a problem in our business where people order paint, get it and then claim to their credit card companies they never ordered it and they never got it when we can prove they did, but they still win the suit because these people are corrupt, dishonest people. We lose three to $5,000 a month every month with people getting our products and saying they never did. Even when we, in one case, we had a picture of the man’s hand in the FedEx picture when they take a picture of the delivery.

And another case, a door was open, like the guy said he wasn’t home and somebody must’ve stole it, but the front door was wide open in the picture that the FedEx man took of the paint sitting on his doorstep. This is the stuff that modern businesses go through today because of dishonesty. Well, that’ll be tomorrow’s show.

Tomorrow night, we’re gonna have another short story. It’s called, The Tragedy of a Third Smoker by C.J. Cutcliffe-Hein, a bite-sized audio book. And it’s about a young man named John who is a smoker and a gambler.

He’s in love with a woman, but she already is engaged to another man. And John’s life is thrown into turmoil when he meets a mysterious stranger at a train station who offers him a chance to win a fortune in a card game. John takes the chance, but soon finds out himself in a dangerous situation and the stakes become life and death for him.

It’s a very good, I think it’s about a 30-minute short story. And I have not ever heard this story before or knew about it. I found it, listened to it, and I think you will enjoy it.

It’s a kind of a fantasy mystery. And that’s tomorrow night at 7.11 p.m. on a Sabbath night, Saturday night, the Sunday morning 7.11 show. We have not yet determined because all of these fast-breaking news events happen.

And I really wanna get to tonight and even tomorrow before I decide what we’re gonna put up on Sunday. But Sunday, we usually have shows that are more political in nature, number one, and what’s going on around the world or around the economy or some kind of a discussion or some kind of a factual tie-together type of show that I think we have a lot of audience for. And I think is very compelling TV to watch on your computer.

But you can cast it on your TV, by the way. So I wanna say goodbye to everybody for the week. I’m glad everybody tuned in.

This is our first week of going on the podcast, going on the main page, I’m sorry, of The Plain Truth. And we had a little bit of glitches here and there, but I think it’s gonna work out really well. I’m very happy about it.

And because it’s really looking forward to the Day of Atonement, which is the night of, in God’s calendar, of the ninth and the daytime of the 10th. And then five days later is the Feast of Tabernacles, where we’ll be doing a lot of shows based on what is the Feast of Tabernacles and what it means to God and to you.
