The Plain Truth is so Happy That You Have Been Enjoying Bob’s Broadcasts.
2000 years ago, a newscaster that we know of as Jesus Christ warned us about false Christianity. The warning was not against the devil but against false Christianity…about people who come in His name and deceive many.
CLICK TO LISTEN TO BOB BARNEY’S MIDDAY BROADCAST: Friday’s Wrap-Up with Bob: October 10, 2025

Hi, it’s Bob Barney and this is a Friday wrap-up. I’m starting to have a Friday wrap-up early this week because, of course, we had the Feast at Tabernacles over the last two weeks, really. And we’re still in Connecticut. This is the last great day of the Feast. It’s Tuesday. And I thought I would start the Friday wrap-up talking about the Feast first before we get into the real other news that’s happening that we haven’t really covered as much in the last two weeks because of the Feast.
Because, honestly, in our life, the most important thing that will ever happen is the accomplishment, the finalization, of Christ’s return to this earth, which is symbolized through God’s holy days and none of the least of which is the great last day of the Feast, which symbolizes when God the Father comes and lives with his creation, mankind. And when we ourselves have lived through the millennium, if we’re Christians, as the brother of Jesus or the sister of Jesus and of sons and daughters of God the Father. And we will be God during the millennium if we are Christians. It’s the greatest news you’ve ever heard. And you haven’t heard it most places. I can guarantee you that right now. Most places, most religions, most teach about some immortal soul or some life-after-death thing that nowhere even matches what God has planned for you if you want to be a part of it. And so I thought I would start off the Friday wrap-up talking about the great holidays of God and why we should follow them. So, like I said, I’m doing this outdoors next to Lake Candlewood where we moved to in the last few days to finish up the Feast.
My home area where I grew up means a lot to me. And to see an area that is so beautiful, so pristine and beautiful still, that I can just wait for the millennium when this earth is healed from all of its scars, from its wars, from its pollution and man’s overbuilding and overusing God’s nature. And this earth heals for 1,000 years. It’s a 1,000-year Sabbath. There has been a belief, and I hold to this belief, but let me tell you right now, this is not necessarily biblical, but that the plan of God, a day to God, is 1,000 years for us. So if we look at the history of man, you can say it’s going to be 7,000 total years, that about 5,000 or 6,000 years ago is when Adam was created and the earth was recreated from a previous state. It depends how close we are to the millennium. It could be up to maybe 5,500 or 5,900 or maybe 5,995, I don’t know. But then the millennium symbolizes the 7,000th year, 1,000 years of a day for God.
So the millennium represents the Sabbath of the earth, a Sabbath day that lasts 1,000 years where all healing and rest and redoing is, redoing and rejuvenating is going on. And you can hear the bird over here right over top of me singing because he’s happy to hear the message, I guess, himself, because the animals know they’re God. Mankind doesn’t know they’re God.Mankind is in rebellion against God, but all the birds and animals of nature are not in rebellion against God. They know God naturally. It’s instinct. When you hear about Mother Nature, it’s really Father Nature because it’s the nature of God. God is in these animals, and these animals know they’re God. I always talk about a song written by Bob Dylan. They say it was a drug song. I’m not sure. Bob Dylan says it wasn’t.But anyway, about Manford Man sung at the Mighty Quinn, and it talks about there’s a day when all the pigeons are going to run to him. And I always looked at that verse. It’s a little complicated here for a Friday wrap-up, but I just want to tell you is we have all these environmentalists, and we have all these people who care for the animals, and they really don’t because we can see with the windmills that these environmentalists wanted to put out on the seashores, killing all of these whales and killing all of these condor birds in California and these solar farms that when birds fly over top of them, they die.
They get burned to death. And this is so-called environmentalist. But when God returns to this earth, all the birds and the animals are going to run away from the environmentalists and run to their God because the animals know who their God is.Unfortunately, mankind does not. And so I wanted to take today, the great last day, to thank God for my life, for the plain truth, what we’re doing. Hopefully, it will continue to be done. It’s all paid for by my family business, Tamco, named after my wife. We don’t ask for money. We don’t even accept money. You can send me money if you try to. I’d send it back to you. We do everything for free because the gospel is free.If you have to give a tithe to God, find a very good godly cause to do so. I don’t recommend giving it to too many churches because I’m including the Sabbath day churches because I’m not too much on churchianity because I find most churches are really not doing God’s service, but they’re just trying to perpetuate their own existence through donations and tithes and things like that. What we do is we give to the Salvation Army or the Shriners or local causes or actually just poor people in our town and give to food banks and things like that, our tithe money.
But also we do things as well for when tragedies happen or if there are good charities raising money for people that are in trouble. That’s the tithe that we do. Like I said, I don’t usually spend very much money on any of the churches, even the Sabbath day keeping churches because, like I said, I disagree with most of them.I will play a lot of their videos that I think are accurate, most all of them. Everyone that I know doesn’t even know when the day really starts and they don’t even follow the true calendar of God or even attempt to. They’re trying to be following Jewish calendar, which is nothing but a Babylonian calendar. But each person needs to find how they’re going to best serve God with their tithes because tithes are still required. But like I said, you can give the tithe to who you want, just you’re not going to give it to us. We are free of charge, and it will be so until we run out of money. And if we run out of money, that tells me that God doesn’t want us to do the show anymore. It’s that simple. Well, that’s the wrap-up for the feast, and now we’re going to go on to the rest of the news and the rest of this broadcast will be done again from my down basement studio, probably starting Thursday evening or Friday morning.
So we’re back at our regular studio that I use in my basement in my little version of my man cave where I have everything from a small exercise area, sauna, and my studio. So what we want to get into is the regular news that we usually cover on Friday wrap-up, and there’s a lot happening, but yesterday a very important announcement came out that it looks like the Donald Trump administration, Rubio, Secretary of State, as well as Donald Trump’s efforts here may have a hostage release deal coming Monday or Tuesday and a preliminary peace treaty with Gaza, Hamas, and Israel that the specifics are not really available at this time, and I’m skeptical. I always remember the old statement of Garnett and Armstrong was whenever they say peace, prepare for war, but hopefully we have some kind of a deal and what hostages are alive will be released and the bodies of those dead will be also released.
I think that’s easier said than done, but we’ll see, and I think there could be some reason that Hamas would do this to release the hostages now that are doing them no good at all, but few may be alive, as a way to stay in power hoping that Trump will cave on everything else once these hostages are released, and he thinks, I believe, one of the motivation factors is he’s going to get a Nobel Prize for his works in the Middle East. I think he wanted that in Ukraine, but Ukraine is not going as good as he thought it would be, so we’ll have to talk more about that coming Monday or Tuesday when we find out what really happens. The big news of this week that probably is not reported very many places unless you’re watching business channels and even they don’t want to talk about it was as The Plain Truth has been advising our listeners if you have money to invest, and we’ve done this now for two and a half years, and before the podcast, we did it on The Plain Truth for 10 or more years, and you can go to The Plain Truth message board, put in gold, and you’ll find all the posts over the years where we predicted that people should invest in gold, and gold hit $4,000, actually $4,090 at its high.
I believe that was Tuesday, and this morning, I think it’s around $3,900 again, but it reached $4,000, and that is double of what gold was just 18 months ago. Silver also has gone to $50 an ounce, about $50 an ounce, and again, two years ago, it was around $24 an ounce, so that’s doubled as well, and so anyone who is paying attention to a possible crash that I still believe is going to happen to our stock market and to our country, that gold is a safe haven because the whole world will buy your gold in bad times, and they will buy gold at an inflated price, and Peter Schiff, who we put up a lot of his videos over the years and stories on The Plain Truth’s main page, Peter Schiff is still saying gold at $4,000 an ounce is cheap because of the trouble that the American economy is in, especially with this $37 trillion debt, and you also heard from Ray Dalio saying the same thing, that they both believe that gold will hit $10,000 to $15,000 an ounce within a year or two, and the way it’s going, I think it could hit $5,000 an ounce, maybe by early 2026, and so it’s still a time, in my estimation, to still be buying silver, it’s the cheap way to go, or gold, but both of them are, I think, going to continue to go up drastically over the next few years. Other story of the week, I think you have to say the big stories of the week, is not only the Comey indictment, but now the Lisa James indictment, both people, and I’m not necessarily in favor of retribution that Donald Trump’s trying to do against his enemies, but these are two people that needed to be brought up on charges because these people absolutely use lawfare against not only Donald Trump, it’s not only Donald Trump that was affected by these corrupt people, and there’s more of them, it is also the American public that supported Donald Trump, who January 6th, people, under the Insurrection Act, which I do not want to see Trump do at any cost, but under the Insurrection Act, they put Americans in jail without lawyers, without due process, without a constitution, without a Bill of Rights, I don’t want to see Donald Trump do that, but James Comey and this Lisa James prosecutor who ran for office saying she would get Trump, talk about lawfare, she ran, and she’s trying to say today, oh, they’re trying to make political hay over this indictment, and it’s the first time ever that politics ever got involved in a prosecution, I mean, she said it with a straight face, and pity me, this woman ran for office saying, if I’m elected Attorney General for New York, I will go against Donald Trump, and I’ll put him in jail, if that’s not a political type of prosecution, I don’t know what is, so she deserves what happens to her, and I do hope, like what they tried to do with Donald Trump, she goes broke trying to defend herself, I don’t think that’ll be the case, because every liberal cause in the world is going to donate to her cause all the money she needs, I heard she’s already raised $10 million in one day from these liberals that’s going to try to support her court case, so she probably won’t personally go broke, but I wouldn’t care if she did, same thing with James Comey, same thing with Adam Schiff, and some of these other people that were absolutely doing things against not only Donald Trump, but against the American people, at least 50% of the American people, and all of those who just happened to have voted for Donald Trump, and if that’s not lawfare, I don’t know what is, and this is just prosecution, you know on this program, I go against Donald Trump whenever I think he’s doing things wrong, he’s being too arrogant, or he’s not being humble enough to God, and I think God is not happy with this nation, and I don’t think Donald Trump and God is that close together right now, because I think God wants to see a more humble presidency, but there has to be real law trials with people who took the law and made it into political gamesmanship, and that’s really what was going on here, so we’ll see what’s going to happen if these trials can move forward, if the courts don’t throw them out, it could happen.
I don’t believe Donald Trump should have spoken publicly to his attorney general by his truth social, saying these are the people I want you to indict, and she does it within a week, that doesn’t look good, and I’m sorry, but going back to this economy, which is not getting better, in my opinion, it’s absolutely we’re on a bubble, and this bubble is going to break, but one of the most influential bankers in the United States, Jamie Dimon, who tends to be more Democrat than Republican, but lately he’s been acting more Republican than Democrat, but he’s given a chilling update that every American should be aware of, he’s thinking that Wall Street is so overvalued that it’s going to come crashing down more than just a normal, what they call a, I can’t think what they call it right now, I’m doing this live off my head, but a pullback, they call it, a five or even a 10% pullback of the stocks, he’s predicting the stock market could actually go down some 25, 30, or even 40% over the next year, which would decimate the 401ks of many retirees or people just getting into where they could retire, and they will find out they can no longer afford to retire when their $300,000 401k now is only worth $200,000 or $185,000, and that’s going to make them work longer, which the American dream is getting further and further away from the average American middle class person out there.
The lower class people have never really been able to, in my opinion, in the last 40 years, enjoy the prosperity of this nation, they were able to enjoy the welfare of the Democrats of this nation that made them lazy, which is not good. You know the old saying, you can feed a person or you can teach that person to fish. If you feed that person, he’s going to be hungry when the food stops, but if you taught the person to fish in the first place, then the person can feed himself after you have helped them, and that is the real way you give somebody a hand up.
The lower class, which is probably, what, 40, 50% of American right now, the lower-class Americans are not in the American dream. They are living paycheck to paycheck and they’re not even living decently from paycheck to paycheck. They’re still using their credit cards for buying the things they have to have, food and gas, and not paying their credit card balances off, and that is a disaster also happening in our economy that the fiddler is going to come home to all Americans in a very nasty way, not just the lower class, but now the middle class and even the upper middle class.
I think the rich people will still stay rich through this whole crisis, and a lot of them will probably get even richer, but the more there is a disparity between the top 10%, 20%, and the bottom 80%, there is going to be civil war if it doesn’t change. Another piece of news on the same economy thing, we put it on the message board, is the IRS has announced the new tax brackets for 2026, and there’s a little bit of ease for most middle class and lower class people in what they’re going to pay in taxes, but unfortunately, as the article points out, the $200 to $500 that the average American is going to save on his taxes this year, he’s going to spend $1,500 to $2,000 more in the higher inflation that was caused by the big beautiful bill, and that’s the case, and I think the Republicans are going to have to somehow compromise on this Affordable Care Act. I was against the Affordable Care Act.
I don’t think it’s good, but at the same time, if you’re going to take away or you’re going to increase the cost of the average health insurance premium by the people in the government health care system, and that’s mainly Trump voters, by the way, there’s going to be retribution on that when a person that’s paying $70 a month for their health insurance now are paying $22500, who knows, a month for the government insurance. There’s going to be a kickback against the Republicans for that because they will be blamed, and that is the reason the Democrats are trying to hold out and have shut down the government, and they’re playing a hand that may work against them, but it may also help them if all of a sudden people start getting serious increases in their health insurance premiums, and we already saw Marjorie Taylor Greene, Mrs. Mega herself, now coming out, agreeing with the Democrats that the Republicans need to extend the health care for American citizens. She said she still is not going to be behind any bill that would give Medicare and Medicaid or affordable health care through government financing to illegal immigrants or even any immigrant without being an American citizen.
I agree with her, but she is the first Republican of note, I have to say, really to stand up against Donald Trump here and wants to see this affordable health care continue at least in the short run with the continuing resolution in order to maybe come up with a better system next year. The Republicans do have the House, they have the Senate, they have the presidency, there’s no reason they can’t get everything going right now to pacify the American people who are worried, scared out of their wits of what they’re reading and hearing on their news, and there’s a way to do that is to do a continuing resolution for six months, nine months, and next year actually replace Obamacare with something everybody can still afford. I don’t know how that will be done, I really don’t, I don’t know if it can be done, but the Republicans could be facing a losing hand if all of a sudden 40 million Americans who voted for Donald Trump sees their health care insurance drastically increase, and I’m afraid of what would happen there.

One other issue that we put to on The Plain Truth this week, another story, I don’t think getting that much coverage unless you’re watching MSNBC, which I don’t think most people are going to be doing, or even CNN, but it is a problem, is I have said again, I think Donald Trump is wrong with trying to send a National Guard everywhere. It is not a good idea, it’s also something the Democrats will use against us big time when they get power, which they could get as early as 26, and the idea that you’re going to send National Guard troops to governors who do not want it, you’re on the verge of destroying the United States Constitution, and again, promoting civil unrest and a possible civil war between those states who will refuse to follow anything Donald Trump does, and those states that will follow what Donald Trump wants to do, and I said this over and over again, a great president is not a divider. They find a way to be a uniter.
Donald Trump said that himself in 2016 when he said, he is the only person alive that can make the Democrats in the House, in the Senate, and the Republicans in both houses get together and agree because he’s an outsider and he knows how to do it. Well, he hasn’t learned how to do it yet. As one commentator mentioned last night on TV, Thursday night on News Nation, he’s able to make a peace treaty amongst terrorists and Israel maybe, but he sure can’t make a peace treaty between Democrats and Republicans, both sides playing politics, neither side worrying about you and I, and if you think that Republicans are really worried about you and I, you’re wrong.
Now, I wish the Republicans would wake up, smell the coffee, and realize they’re going down the same route they did in 2006 when they lost everything under the first, I’m sorry, the second Bush administration in 2004. They gave away the boat. They gave away the House. They gave away everything. They gave away banking loans to the poor that couldn’t afford them, and they caused a crash which made the Democrats sweep the House and the Senate, and that was very bad for the American people, only to be followed by Barack Obama, who for a while had both houses as well, and pushed a lot of things through which took away your and my civil rights, guaranteed in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The more things go on, the more I see the Bill of Rights being trashed, and when we lose the Bill of Rights, we have lost freedom and liberty in this country, and so I am worried about that.
The last thing I want to talk about with this government shutdown is the idea that more and more airports are going to lose air traffic controllers, and some airports, Burbank being one of them, have no air traffic controllers. I’ll tell you again, that might be a mistake. I don’t know who would get the blame, the Democrats or the Republicans, but usually the person who’s the president gets the blame when anything bad goes. If there is a major air crash in Washington, D.C., where they’re already very low on air controllers and other airports, if there is a major crash in America and hundreds of people get killed, somebody is going to be blamed. It’s going to be either Donald Trump and the Republicans or Chuck Schumer and the Democrats. I’m not usually against any government shutdown.
I think most of the time government shutdowns are not bad, but at the same time, if you’re not going to be paying the troops in two weeks and all of these people are now being told they may never get their back pay as well, it’s not good. It’s absolutely not good for every other American looking at what’s going on and thinking, man, we’re in trouble and we have to give the American people hope. And that’s what a good president does. When Ronald Reagan was president, I keep going back to him because I think he’s one of the greatest presidents of the 20th century. Ronald Reagan gave hope. He gave hope to even people that didn’t agree with him. And there was a lot of people that worked against Ronald Reagan as well as they did against Donald Trump. People forget that. But Ronald Reagan was always able to rise above it all with humor, with wit, and with communicating clearly to the American public, which worked really well.
Well, that’s the Friday wrap-up. Now, I want to go into another change that I plan on doing. I believe noontime for the Friday wrap-up kind of is too early to do. And that is because a lot of news happens after I make this. I usually try to make this in the morning, start it the night before and finish it in the morning of Friday. But a lot of things happen between, you know, like 11 o’clock in the morning this would go on noon, like today’s show is noontime. But a lot of things happen even in the afternoon that is breaking. And then you’ve got to go to Monday on the Plain Truth podcast to hear anything about it and it doesn’t seem right to me. Most news never breaks on Saturday or Sunday and if it does, we always break in and do something on the Plain Truth to inform our readers what’s going on or our listeners. But for the most part, I think starting next week and I’ll talk about it all next week. Next week I think we’re going to start doing the Friday wrap-up at the 7-11 p.m. time on Friday evenings. And I think that’s going to be much more up-to-date up to what’s happening and I can finish that by 4 or even 5 o’clock and that will be all the news anybody’s going to break by that time anyway.
And so the show will be more pertinent to the people listening up to Friday. And then when Monday comes around any news happened over the weekend you’d cover but most news unless it’s a battle or a war or a rocket attack or some kind of a natural disaster most things don’t happen over the weekend because politicians don’t want it to happen over the weekend except when they want to announce bad news then they do that on a Friday afternoon. But it’s still done on a Friday afternoon. So be aware that most likely by next week but definitely by the week after next but I’ll have more on this Monday and Tuesday for sure. I believe Friday wrap-up will happen at the 7-11 p.m. on Friday but we will still have shows Monday through Friday 7-11 a.m. noontime and p.m. Saturday of course we have our Sabbath show tomorrow we’ll have a Sabbath show 7-11 a.m. we’ll have a short story or a video or some kind of entertainment for the 7-11 p.m. Saturday Sabbath night entertainment that you can listen to a short story or you can listen to a Western short story or even watch which we’ve done over the last few weeks an actual old-time TV show from the 1950s and 60s I’ve done some Death Valley ones because I like the Death Valley stories most of them are quite short and they are all based on what really happened in the West they take a story that is true and they dramatize it sometimes they over dramatize it sometimes they don’t when you actually look it up but I’ve learned a lot about history by watching the Death Valley show knowing it’s a true show then going researching it on the internet and finding the real truth between the story and a lot of times we even put that up as a history show not as a podcast but as a print thing on theplaintruth.com about the real reason this happened to this cowboy or whatever happened or the story like I had an article quite a few years ago how Ben-Hur came to be the story that it became because the original author of Ben-Hur was an atheist and when he started writing Ben-Hur it was going to be an anti-God episode or novel and by the half way through it reading the bible and trying to get as much passages and understanding of what he was going to disprove almost sounds like me back in the 70s he found out he couldn’t disprove any of it and he became a Christian over it and a governor of Arizona a civil war general hero and so the whole story of Ben-Hur became the classic we watch on the big screen or reading his novel that we know today so I like to do entertainment shows that are also based on some fact not just fantasy a lot of the stories we put up are written by great authors short stories Hemingway, Steinbeck you name it they are all fiction but short stories and short videos or short TV shows based on something that really happened always has interested me I am an historian by love anyway Bob Barney for the Plain Truth today brought to you by theplaintruth.com the one place to go to to understand what’s happening and what God has to do with it because God is the biggest headline maker you will ever know in your entire life and life to come so I do hope everyone has a phenomenal Sabbath day I hope if you’re not following the Sabbath you start researching it and do so I think you’ll be happy until Monday Bob Barney saying thank you for listening bye bye!
