The Plain Truth is so Happy That You Have Been Enjoying Bob’s Broadcasts.
2000 years ago, a newscaster that we know of as Jesus Christ warned us about false Christianity. The warning was not against the devil but against false Christianity…about people who come in His name and deceive many.
CLICK HERE TO LISTEN TO BOB BARNEY’S 7:11 BROADCAST: FRIDAY WRAP-UP WITH BOB: SEPTEMBER 13, 2024

Hi, this is Bob Barney with The Plain Truth Today brought to you by The Plain Truth dot com.
I am here with the Friday wrap-up at 7:11, and I want to thank everyone for listening each day. For some reason, our last week and a half, the viewership, or the listenership here in this case, has really gone through the roof and I’m pretty pleased about that.
Today we want to talk about what happened during the week, what we had on The Plain Truth and what’s important to you. We had a show on hemorrhoids in the Bible which was kind of an offbeat topic however an interesting show. If you haven’t listened to it, it was Tuesdays 7:11 broadcast…and then, of course, we also had one yesterday for this broadcast purpose on the songs of modern rock and roll and pop songs and movies and books that actually can get God’s message out. I think we did a good job on pointing out that God is able to get His message out even in this real bad world of liberal Hollywood and lawlessness and all of the things that go wrong. Even still, God is able to find His way into the minds of authors and writers and singers and you name it, and still get His message out. This way people can’t say during Judgment Day that, oh, we didn’t know anything, because God’s going to say, well, you kind of did know.
I sent you messages.
You look outside every morning, you see the sunrise, you see everything as it is, predictable, the birds singing, the birds doing this, the animals doing that, everything’s in harmony, and God creates everything in perfection, and there’s all kinds of things to prove the existence of God, and there’s all kinds of things to prove the existence of the God of the Bible.
(2:02) Like I said, this is a news show, but yes, it is God who is the number one news event person or personages that there are.
So I want to get into my idea of the debate and the fallacy of the debate anyway. I think Trump won the debate only because I think Kamala came across as a raving, nasty bitch, and I think whenever Trump comes across that way, which he did not in this debate, all I hear is how everybody hates his mean-spiritedness and that is what’s holding him back. That’s what all of the never-Trumpers say in the Republican Party, and that’s what all the mainstream media says. They drone on and on about how no one likes Trump’s demeanor. So you think people are going to like Kamala any better for turning every question into a personal attack on Trump? Calling him a rapist, calling him a criminal, calling him an insurrectionist, saying he was the worst president ever, that he presided over an insurrection that was greater than the tragedy of September 11th, 2001. She mentions 9/11 which was the following day after the debate! Can you imagine that? They were going to go to New York for the ceremonies for September 11th, but Kamala Harris the night before said the worst thing since the Civil War was this insurrection on January 6th, and it’s a total joke.
(3:24) There was no insurrection on January 6th, and the only person killed was an innocent protester shot down by a cop, a Capitol cop, through a window when his life was not endangered. In fact, no one’s life was endangered, and the man should have been tried for murder! We’ve talked about that before.
That night I listened to both the liberal and the conservative pundits and the conservative pundits were all pretty much downtrodden because they thought Trump did a bad job. The reason they thought Trump did a bad job is because he did what I call what Muhammad Ali did with Joe Frazier with the Rope-a-Dope. I mean, he just let her punch the living crap out of him, but with her words. He really defended himself. People thought he shouldn’t defend himself and that he should have attacked her, but that’s what gets him in trouble.
(4:23) I said to my wife, and I might have said it on this broadcast, but I might have kept it to myself, I said to my wife, the only thing, and this is two weeks ago, the only thing that bothers me about this debate was going to ABC. That was the only thing. I said, if Trump is trying to convince people that he’s some great negotiator, that he can negotiate everything, then he should have negotiated a better debate format…and he certainly should not have allowed it to be on ABC.
(4:55) I think Trump does have some negatives, and I believe God pays attention to these negatives. The worst negative Trump has, in my opinion, is his arrogance. He has an arrogance, and God does not like arrogant people. God, oftentimes, even with the people He loves, allows arrogant people to have to face defeat. Trump’s arrogance was he destroyed Biden in the June debate, and so he can do this on their terms, on CNN. Everybody said Trump was going to make a big mistake. I did too, by the way. However, when you think about it, it turns out that maybe CNN was part of a plot to make Trump look good and to make Biden look bad, because really what they wanted to do was get rid of Joe Biden. They succeeded in doing so. Maybe Trump’s ego thought he defeated Joe Biden when in fact, CNN and the people behind Joe Biden defeated Joe Biden. They put a man out there they knew was incapable, and if it wasn’t for that debate, he would still be running for president at this time. That’s the truth. They knew if he got into two or three debates that they had decided, and he was as incompetent now as he’s ever been and he will ever be no better, that they realized that Trump would win in a landslide. He was already looking that way. So, if Biden stayed in and did three debates and looked as bad as he did in that one debate, oh boy.
(6:09) So that debate was disguised to take out Joe Biden, by the Democrats. It was a coup against Joe Biden. But unfortunately, Trump’s arrogance thought it was his great victory over Joe Biden which I don’t think it really was. I had said to Tammy, if he wants to say he’s some great negotiator, and he can negotiate with Putin, or Xi, or North Korea, or anywhere in the world, the European allies, he is a tough negotiator and can negotiate this. Well, he wasn’t a tough negotiator with the Democrats. Everything they wanted, they got. Everything they wanted in the first debate, they got. Everything they wanted in the second debate, the Democrats wanted, they got.
That’s not a negotiator.
(7:19) If I were in the Trump camp, I would have said that I will negotiate a debate on ABC only if Harris agrees to do one on Newsmax or Fox. Newsmax isn’t that big so it would have to be Fox. You know as well as I know that Kamala Harris would have pulled out, and she would have been the one that pulled out of the whole debate. That is what a good negotiator would have done. But that being said, I disagreed that night, and I told this to my wife, I disagreed that night that with all those conservatives that thought Trump did a rope-a-dope, he let her just spew venom. I personally believe, and this is going to sound sexist, so I am sorry to the ladies out there, but there is a difference between men and women. For some reason, a man can be petty, and he can be nasty, like Donald Trump, and somewhat get away with it. A woman cannot. Ask Hillary Clinton. I personally believe Kamala Harris did a Hillary Clinton and everybody who saw it especially people who have not made up their mind yet and who are upset with Donald Trump’s demeanor… I think they saw that she was 10 times worse than he ever was and that, that turned their interest on him.
(8:42) I said that the night of the debate was over, at 11:30 at night, I told that to my wife before we went to bed and lo and behold, the next morning, when we awoke to watch the news, guess what? We found out that quick live polling, you know, they had this studio audience, and they were filled with independents. Half of those didn’t know if they were going to vote or who they were going to vote for. The other half were evenly split between Trump and Kamala. So, they wanted to talk mainly to the people who were still undecided. Here is an example. I’m recording this off of YouTube, so it may not sound as crisp as I’d like it. But here is an example of what the mainstream media, this is a CNN interview. This is not a Fox News. This is not a Newsmax. This is not a RAV TV…this is a CNN questioner with a group that he assumed going into this, that every single person that was undecided was going to say that Kamala Harris won the debate. I think what happened here is that he as well as many conservative commentators, and I know a lot of liberal commentators were kind of worried about what they heard. Here’s an example, and I’ll get to another one:
(10:11) What did you see that brought you to a conclusion? I think it’s important to remember that we are voting for the leader of our country and not who we like the most or who we want in our wedding party, but who is actually going to make our country better. And we’re in an incredibly unique situation where we’ve had both of the candidates in office before, and we’ve gotten to see what they would do. And when facts come to facts, my life was better when Trump was in office. The economy was higher, inflation was lower, things were better overall, and now with Kamala’s administration, things haven’t been so fantastic. And she’s saying she can fix the problems that her administration has caused, but I just don’t know if I can afford to take that risk. Were you leaning towards the former president coming into that? Probably. And did you inform in 2016 or 2020? I did. So, decision made there. What did you think?
(11:13) So, what they do is they ask these people what they thought, and more and more they found out that these people that they thought would have been swayed to Kamala’s rough tactics against Trump only really helped her base. The people who hate Donald Trump thought she did a great job, but she’s already got their votes. So, it doesn’t matter if she is, you know, throwing red meat to her dogs that will follow her no matter what. It matters what the people in the middle said.
(11:38) Then we get to this, and this is a big thing. This is a pollster that actually gives buttons to these people and hundreds of people. This is not just a few. She gets, I don’t know what the number was here. I’m going to make this up. I don’t know what the number was, but she might take 300 Democrats and 300 Republicans and 300 Independents. She probably does it in in equal numbers. I’m not sure of everything, but just the answer that you’re going to get here should wake up people who think that Kamala Harris won this debate hands down…and I am including liberal people who think so, because you’re going to hear some things that are said here that are actually going to prove the point that I had about especially the Independents.
(12:25) Now, if you’re already a Trump person, no matter what he did last night, no matter how bad he would have stunk last night, you are going to come out of the debate a Trump person. If you absolutely hate Donald Trump, and there’s a lot of Republicans, by the way, the old time Republicans who hate Donald Trump with all of their heart, they are going to always come out and they’re going to vote for Kamala Harris. When you have, for example, people like Dick Cheney saying they’re going to vote for Kamala Harris; they’re not going to vote for an Independent. They’re not going to have a protest vote. They’re going to vote for a person who stands for, no matter what she said that night of the debate, she stands for partial birth abortion. She stands for late term abortion. She stands for abortion up to the ninth month. She stands for killing a baby that comes out of a botched abortion by letting them starve to death or die on the table. She’s for uncontrolled sex change operations on children paid for by the government and without even giving parental notification that they’re going to do that to their child. We are talking about children as young as seven and 10 years old. This is what she stands for! She stands against fracking. She’s all over the place saying now she won’t stop it, but that’s a lie. She’s been in office. They could have stopped fracking last week. They didn’t do so.
(13:52) Donald Trump took her bait and said, why don’t we go to Washington? He said, you don’t need the Senate. You don’t need Congress to pass an immigration bill. You have executive powers. Let’s go down to the White House and let’s sign a bill. You sign a bill. Joe, wake Joe Biden up at four o’clock in the afternoon, go down and sign a bill to close the border. She didn’t answer the question. That is because she is a chameleon, and she is a liar, and she is just a raving bitch in that debate.
Here is another clip that I think, again, is pretty eye-opening:
One of the things I noticed right away there, Lee, is that the blue line started to flatten and not dip so low down on that last one.
(14:36) (Bob) The pollster, and I did forget her name, it just hit me when she said Lee. It’s Lee Carter who polls after every debate in a lot of different times by having people watching on their TV a debate or some speech. And then independents, Democrats and Republicans have this thing. Do they like it? They push it. They don’t like it. They push another button. And you can see this graph go up when they’re talking about something they like, stay neutral if they don’t really care, or really go down when there’s something they don’t like. One of the things that Harris Faulkner just pointed out to Lee Carter was she also noticed when she was watching these graphs, a lot of the blue, which is the Democrat line, was higher than they would have expected when Trump was talking and was lower when Kamala was talking. Something that people should think about.
It gets where people are in the economy. And that was a really interesting takeaway from last night. I didn’t expect to see independents tracking so much with Republicans last night, and they did. They wanted to hear the meat on the economy. They wanted to hear the plan. And while most of the voters that we spoke with agreed stylistically with Kamala they said that she sort of performed better than he did on substance on the issues on economy and immigration. They really resonated with him. And that was really what we were talking to a lot of the independent voters. And we saw that right there with that line. So, Alexandria, you were formerly an independent. You’re now a Republican. Can you speak to the issue, why those two would track in your mind? Absolutely. So, I also just graduated college. I’m looking into the job market. I’m looking into the economy of housing prices, cost of food. And for me at this point, it’s not really about which candidate is the most poised or which candidate I like the most. It’s about what the next four years will look like. And I do think that the economy under Trump was a lot stronger.
(16:28) Just simply not what I know the mainstream media thought this debate was going to do. ABC, you know as well as I do, got in and gave Kamala Harris all the questions in advance. They gave questions that was the easiest meat-oriented questions in the world. What do you think about Donald Trump beating up Melania all the time in his fits of rage? That kind of question. Or any kind of question that she could sit there and just act like a rabid bitch. And that’s what she acted like. I just think it turned off a lot of people. Like I said, it would not turn off her base, but it certainly turned off a lot of independents who don’t like Trump for the same reason. They’re going to put up with this one? No. Not in any way possible.
So, in the next series of questions with Lee Carter and Harris Faulkner, the next person, he kind of blames Trump. He thought Trump should have gone more after the economy against her and against Biden than he did. That he shouldn’t have put up with what she said. But then he makes a point that the moderators themselves were very bad. And listen to what Harris Faulkner has to say and the reaction to that from the crowd.
Well, the moderators could have gotten more specific. Absolutely. They could have done some re-ask too. It was three against one. Yeah, from a journalism perspective and having been on a stage recently with him and ABC News basically running that as well at the Black Journalist Convention, I can tell you that this was not dissimilar to that.
(18:06) (Bob) If you remember how bad of an interview they gave Donald Trump, the black journalist in Chicago, that showed up an hour late, by the way, made the former president hang around for an hour. And then the first question was, again, you know, why do you beat up your wife all the time? Kind of question. And that’s what Harris Faulkner was talking about. That is the same woman, by the way, who did that…that black caucus, news caucus in Chicago asking Trump those really terrible questions several months ago. Where Kamala Harris wouldn’t even go to just point that out. That was the same woman that was on last night’s debate or I’m sorry, Tuesday night’s debate, whenever that was. And just for those who didn’t watch any of this who don’t know, it was the same woman that Trump got into several months ago in Chicago when he was just assaulted.
So, I want to resume in this interview because there’s another comment coming up here and then we’ll finish the show.
(19:11) I want to get your take on just where you saw those lines tracking. And I made the comment that when it got deeper into the economy, that the Democrats stopped pitching so far low and kind of flattened out a little bit. Does Kamala Harris to you reach people right where they are on that issue? Well, I think the irony is both candidates were fighting over the mantle of change, particularly over the economy. Kamala was presenting herself as the candidate of change. But of course, she’s a reflection of the Biden-Harris administration, which the majority of the country disapproves of how they’ve handled the economy. And they prefer the Trump economy to this one. So, I think it was difficult given that. But with that being said, Trump’s strongest answer was the last one where he said, look, you’ve proposed all these economic plans. Why haven’t you done them since you’ve been in office for the last three and a half years? You should have hit that harder earlier and relentlessly tied Biden to Harris. They’re joined at the hip. She distanced herself at times. All right. Jay, I’ll come straight to you with this. Vice President Harris is facing a lot of criticism over not answering for changing many of her far-left policies. Forty minutes into the debate, the moderators finally asked her about that. It’s been headlines for weeks. So, my values have not changed and I’m going to discuss every one of the at least every point that you’ve made. But in particular, let’s talk about fracking because we’re here in Pennsylvania. I made that very clear in 2020.I will not ban fracking. I have not banned fracking as vice president of the United States. And in fact, I was the tie breaking vote on the Inflation Reduction Act, which opened new leases for fracking. My position is that we have got to invest in diverse sources of energy, so we reduce our reliance on foreign oil.
Boy, she is hard to listen to. Watch her blow your brains out. What you’re not seeing, because this is just a broadcast and you’re not seeing the actual video, but both Republicans and independents are down almost to zero when she’s talking about her role and about opening up leases. But Trump’s response to this is classic because he really exposes the lie about Biden and Harris doing so much to help Americans get their own oil, because it is a total lie. The response that she has, at least she’s been against that forever. She gave all that stuff up very wrongly, very horribly. And everybody’s laughing at it. They’re all laughing at it. She gave up at least 12 and probably 14 or 15 different policies. She was big on defund the police. In Minnesota, she went out, wait a minute, I’m talking now. If you don’t mind, please. Does that sound familiar? She went out in Minnesota and wanted to let criminals that killed people that burned down Minneapolis, she went out and raised money to get them out of jail. She did things that nobody would ever think of. Now she wants to do transgender operations on illegal aliens that are in prison. This is a radical left liberal that would do this. She wants to confiscate your guns and she will never allow fracking in Pennsylvania. If she won the election, fracking in Pennsylvania will end on day one. So again, you saw something similar there where Republicans and independents are tracking together. And obviously that is per party, but independents supposedly don’t have one that they designated yet. And one of the things that I heard from voters last night, I’d be really curious what you guys think, is that independent voters were looking for two things from Kamala. One, they wanted to hear more in depth on her policies. What was she really going to do for the economy? What was gonna be different about the economy under her than it would have been under Biden? And number two, they wanted her to explain why she’s had so many changes. She couldn’t stick, they wouldn’t let her get away. When we talked to her before, they didn’t want her to get away with this idea of values. And so she didn’t give the why that allowed people to authentically say you have a reason to change. And I think that’s why you saw the independents really up there with Republicans and Democrats obviously were not. So Jay, I want to ask you something similar to what I asked Alexandria on the second question. That was about the economy. This is about public safety, police and military, so to speak. The blue line there for Democrats was going down and then it kind of flattened out when he got to what life is like in urban cities or urban areas.
And that is the gist of the debate that I just wanted to talk about this morning.
That it just is plain as can be on the nose in your face that the results of the independents who listened to this debate were not what the mainstream media thought it was going to be and what ABC News planned it would be. I am pretty happy to see that.
(24:01) For the last six minutes, I want to get into some other things that we had on the Plain Truth that’s kind of important. Like I said, every day you should go to theplaintruth.com and you also should go to the podcast, plaintruthtoday.com and also to the Message Board. We had a tribute to 9-11. We do that every year. We don’t forget 9-11 though, maybe everybody else does. But we had a tribute to 9-11 and the Message Board had a lot of different stories this week. A lot of different things other people put in as well as a lot of stuff we put up today. But some of the questions are some of the things that were on the Message Board, for example. The white-collar bloodbath continues as big four accounting firms lay off 1,800 people. Another story was about the SpaceX walk in space by a billionaire.
Another one we posted was about how Donald Trump mentioned in the debate that he was fact checked by ABC where ABC said he was a liar, yet it turns out he’s going to be right. It’s going to be totally true what he said. It was about the Haitians that are coming in at a number around 300, 400, even half a million Haitians are coming into this country and are actually, and if anybody does not know this, you’d have to be a little bit of a student on Haiti. I am. In their voodoo they do sacrifice animals. They even sacrifice and eat everything that they have, including human beings. It’s the truth. And when they fact check Trump and they said, well, we called the city manager of Springfield, Ohio and said there was no evidence that these people were eating ducks and cats and dogs. No? And what are you going to, you’re going to, you’re going to have a reporter call a city manager of a city and he’s going to admit this thing’s going on when their police don’t want to even respond to the calls? Why don’t you look at the four-dozen people that was interviewed in the last three or four months telling you about all the cats disappearing, dogs disappearing, the ducks being beheaded at the ponds of public parks and there’s even video of a man walking away with a beheaded duck that he’s evidently going to take home to cook and eat.
This is the truth.
Every time that you get the mainstream media fact checking Donald Trump and calling him a liar, you remember Russian collusion, that was all in his imagination. You remember all this stuff in the past when Donald Trump said something, it turned out two, three, four, five months later, it was the absolute plain truth!!
(26:47) Like Rush Limbaugh used to say about the mainstream media, the drive-by media, when it comes out and it’s true, they just drive by that story, and they don’t even report it. They just go on to the next thing to attack Trump. If you watch that debate, and I wish I did not watch that debate because it was the most horrendous thing I’ve ever done. I think I would rather watch a Haitian voodoo ceremony going on than that debate, because that debate was the most fixed rigged, miserable experience I’ve had in many years. d I would never repeat it again. And that’s the truth. That is the plain truth. lol But anyway, we have the story and we’ve had the story and The Plain Truth now for several years about Chinese restaurants opening up in an area and all of the sudden ducks are missing and cats are missing and dogs are missing. And everyone knows what that means. And many people going to these restaurants don’t even know what they’re eating. I would be very wary about going to different restaurants that are ethnic type restaurants. Especially if they’re run by the ethnic type people who eat bats, rats, and cats! I just wouldn’t go and take care and watch, or I mean, go to their restaurants and buy anything.
The other thing is the day after the election, now it came back during the afternoon, I’m going to be honest here, but the stocks plunged almost 1000 points because the thought that she won that debate panicked Wall Street, and it was going to be a major sell off. The only thing that stopped that major sell off, in my opinion, on Wednesday, were the reports from all of these voter interviews that absolutely thought Kamala Harris acted like a raving bitch saying they would not vote for her. They did not like her answers. They admitted they did not like the moderators, and they didn’t like the debate at all. And when the investors by noon, had enough of listening to what the actual independent voters were saying about that election, they decided, you know what, we’re going to get back in the stock market today. The stock market came back 1000 points and actually finished, I think, like 10-15 points to the good.
That only had to do with the reporting, how bad the independent voter thought that debate was.
Well, that’s the wrap up for this Friday. And it was mainly about the debate. And I guess people would have expected that. That was the big news of the week. I just wish I didn’t watch it. I didn’t get up early the next day. I usually get up very early in the morning, do my exercises. I couldn’t even do it. Because I stayed up so late listening to this. It was it was torture. It was Chinese torture. It really was something I’m sure Tim Walz is good at knowing about Chinese torture.
But anyway, I hope everyone has a great Sabbath tomorrow. If you’re following it, I think you ought to look into the Sabbath day, we will have a Sabbath show, we’ll have a Sunday show. We will see you back here Monday morning at 7:11…or it might be Monday evening, we’re not sure which way we’re going yet. But you’ll know you have plenty of warning plus these shows always can be replayed.
This is Bob Barney, thank you for listening, have a good day and a safe weekend. Bye bye.
