• That’s Bob Barney here with the Plain Truth and that was CBS News about a earthquake off of Russia next to where Alaska is and that part of the globe and it was an 8.8 earthquake, one of the largest ever in recorded history supposedly. This is Bob Barney for the Plain Truth today. This is the Friday wrap-up and I wanted to start off with
• 10:36the tsunami that happened Tuesday night and into Wednesday because it’s part of the things that we talk about here on the plain truth about what did Jesus say in Matthew 24. Reading out of the plain truth Bible, as Jesus was leaving the temple grounds, his disciples pointed out to him all the various temple buildings but he responded, do you see all these buildings? I’ll tell you the truth, they will be completely destroyed, not one stone will be left on top of another. Later, as Jesus said on
• 11:09the Mount of Olives, his disciples came to him privately and said, tell us, when is all this going to happen? What will be the sign of your return in the end of the world? And really it’s the end of the age. And Jesus told them, don’t let anybody mislead you, which we see, for many will come in my name, claiming I, meaning Jesus, am the Messiah, and deceive many. And that’s the white horse you see in Revelation.
• 11:33And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but don’t panic. Yep, yes, more things will take place like that, but the end will not come right away. That’s the red horse, by the way, of Revelation. But all of this must take first, I’m sorry, but all of this is only the first
• 11:50of the birth pains. More is to come. Then you will be arrested, persecuted, and killed, and you will be hated all over the world because you are my followers. And it will turn many to betray each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many. Nation will go to war betray each other and many false prophets will appear and deceive many. Nation will go to war with other nations and kingdoms against other kingdoms and there will be famines and earthquakes in many diverse parts of the world. So we follow, and all of this is just
• 12:20the birth pains, it goes on in verse 8, and this is why we follow it on the plain truth, when you have major earthquakes or major tsunamis that caused by earthquakes or volcanoes, or volcanoes that are really caused by earthquakes that caused the volcano in the first place to go off. These were signs that Jesus Christ gave us to look for to understand the times of the end.
• 12:42Now we know from reading in the New Testament that the Apostle John already said we are living in the end days. So even in AD 80-90 they were the end days according to the disciple and the Apostle John and I believe that’s the case. So we know we’re in the end days but Jesus was talking about a specific time before the very end of the end days or before the tribulation would occur what to look out for and that’s Matthew 24. Matthew 24 is important to read along with Revelation and Daniel to understand what’s going to happen in the end days and right before the tribulation.
• 13:26I’m not saying we’re there yet, but we are to always pay attention when we see one of the greatest earthquakes that we’ve seen, 8.8, that’s about as big as you can get. Now, the tidal wave did not seem to be very bad that I’ve seen up until here Friday morning.
• 13:44So people dodged a bullet, and it might be because the vast Pacific Ocean absorbed a lot of it, but there was some wave activity in the California coast, Oregon, Washington and Hawaii. Japan also had a tsunami alert because they’re on the other side of the Pacific and there was a pretty good size tidal wave in Russia itself. Remember there’s Russia and then there’s the Aleutian Islands and then Alaska.
• 14:12Remember Sarah Palin says she could see Russia from her house? Well she basically almost could because Russia and America almost touch where Alaska and Russia meet in the Aleutian Islands. And so the earthquake happened on the Russian side of the Aleutian Islands and that earthquake sent the tidal wave in all directions glued back into Russia. And there’s some videos on YouTube that show you the wave that came into the Russian port city
• 14:39that they’re showing there and it was a pretty impressive water surge.

• 14:55and you know what got me, Wednesday morning, I get up early, I do my exercises, and I turn on the TV at six o’clock and I tried to find out, they didn’t even lead off with the tsunami, they led off with Donald Trump doing this with tariffs. And that’s the problem.
• 15:11When you watch mainstream media today, they basically are not even covering the things that God really wants you to know. That Jesus Christ himself, the greatest newscaster who ever lived and predictor, because he knew what the future was gonna hold,
• 15:27that Jesus Christ said, watch, watch for these things. So whenever you see it happening, I don’t care if it’s 1850 or 1950 or 2050, whenever these things happen, you have to watch, you have to stop and watch. You do not wanna fall asleep,
• 15:41because that is the problem that’s gonna happen. Too many people will take their time and they won’t take God’s message seriously. So he goes on, he ends Matthew 24, I just want to read this about that. A faithful sensible servant is the one whom the master can give the responsibility of managing his household and feeding the people there, including his servants. If the master returns and finds the servant
• 16:09has done a good job, he will be rewarded. I tell you the truth, the master will put that servant in charge of many things that he owns. But if the servant is evil and he thinks, my master’s not gonna come back for a long time. And he begins beating the other servants
• 16:24and partying and getting drunk, you know, it’s always been this way kind of attitude. Then the master returns unannounced, unexpected, and he will cut that servant to pieces and assign his with the place of the hypocrites. It just shows you that Jesus is predicting that even his own people will fall asleep before he returns because they’re gonna think, well, it’s not gonna be now. I don’t believe it’s right now. I think you can prove it’s not right now, but at the same time, we must be aware of this
• 16:53fact. We must be aware that Jesus said to always stay awake, always be alert of the signs he said to look for. So whenever you see war starting, rumors of wars, like we’re in a lot of rumors of wars right now, earthquakes in diverse places, meaning all over the places you don’t expect them, and famines in places you don’t expect them, then we are to pay attention because that could be the sign that Christ is telling us we got to pay attention and not fall asleep and that’s what the plain truth is going to try to do all the time. We’re not always going
• 17:28to give you the news that other stations are giving you and I think that’s one good reason why you should come to the plain truth, the plain truth today commentaries as well as our Message Board and Your Health Today. You get information and the reason behind that information, you’re not gonna get to many other places. We don’t only tell you what this earthquake means, we tell you what it could mean based on what the Bible says.
• 17:52One of the things I say this over and over and over again, I am not a prophet of God. God does not talk to me. I pray that someday God will talk to me, that God will give me what he wants me to say on this broadcast. But he does not. The only time you are to listen to what my opinion is
• 18:10is when my opinion is the fact of something written in the Bible. If the Bible says A, B, and C is going to happen in this order, then I will say on this broadcast A, B, and C is going to happen in this order. And I am 100% accurate because I’m quoting the Bible, God’s word, which is never wrong. You know, there’s a song, I love that song. It’s an old fashioned gospel type song
• 18:34on country and Western. You know, they long to see fault with her teachings, meaning the Bible, but really she makes no mistakes. The Bible does not make mistakes except in some translation errors, but God’s Word is true and we are at The Plain Truth try to show our listener what the Bible says. Now when it comes to me giving opinions, and I have to say this because some people,
• 19:02unfortunately, and I don’t want this to happen, I never want to see this happening, many people take what I say that’s listening and I know this from some emails as the gospel. It is not. It is my opinion. God is not telling me what what my opinion should be. I wish he did but I don’t have these spiritual moments that everybody that I think a lot of them are fraudulent, shysters, have with God all the time. God, I think, puts things into my mind
• 19:30that makes me do a pretty decent broadcast here. I have abilities on this program that I probably really don’t have, and I think that’s coming from God. But unless I’m reading something out of the Bible, it’s my opinion, and my opinion can be wrong.
• 19:44I have many opinions that I don’t share on this program that I think could be coming from God because I’m not sure about it and I’m not gonna share an opinion that I think is coming from me and not coming from God. • 10:35every day. Thank you. Well, the rest of the week’s wrap-up. There was, of course, the meeting finally or the public meeting about the air crash that happened over Washington DC just about what two days after Trump became president when a military helicopter ran into that airline flight that killed all those people and there’s a lot of stories going to come out about this. There was a new video that shows it even more, but it’s gonna be plain to see,
• 11:07it was the pilot’s fault of the military helicopter. I actually think that these military helicopters should not, and I’ll repeat this, they should not be allowed to be flying in this airspace. There’s too many people in the military right now, and I’ve heard this from people who are top gun pilots,
• 11:24as well as other pilots in the military right now, and I’ve heard this from people who are top gun pilots, as well as other pilots in the military, that says there is this trend going on in the military among pilots in all of the divisions, that they’re risk takers, and they kind of do not take their jobs as seriously as they should. Maybe a youth factor, just maybe there’s a possibility that, you know, people just don’t grow up like they used to. And I see that even in my work and I see that around.
• 11:48But that’s just a story that is going to continue to go, I think, it’ll be a year or two before they have a final report. But I just keep an eye on that. Thursday, it came out that inflation actually ticked up again more than expected in the Fed’s preferred gauge. Well, that was a report by the Hill. I just don’t understand where people do not believe that tariffs of 10, 15, 20% or up
• 12:15to 35 or maybe more is not going to cause inflation. I just don’t understand. I listen to these experts on CNBC, on Fox Business, on Bloomberg, and there’s a couple other on the radio I listen to, and these people who try to say, well tariffs maybe is a momentary inflation. How is it momentarily inflation? Yes, you have a 15% tariff, so every product that under that tariff goes up 15% one month
• 12:46and it don’t go up the next month, but it’s still inflationary because you just raised inflation by 15%. I just do not understand the logic of anyone. I just say right now, go back. It’s very easy. On the Plain Truth Today broadcast, you can
• 13:06see all the list of them, go back and look at the Ronald Reagan, I think we put up five of them, short 7-Eleven videos about tariffs and how tariffs are not a good idea, and you will see what rational thinkers really know about tariffs and inflation. And I’ll tell you right now, you know, they’re saying, well the government’s gonna raise some 350 billion dollars or maybe even 500 billion this year alone on tariffs. Who’s paying that tariff? Yeah, the
• 13:38government’s raising money. It’s a tax. You’re paying that. The government is not paying that. The government of China or these other countries are not paying that. You, the consumer, are paying that. Or, I think worse yet, companies like my own company, for example, are gonna try to absorb some of this tariff nonsense and at a loss of revenue. And you think, well, these companies deserve to lose revenue. They’re making too much money. Well, that might be the case in some big conglomerate monopolies
• 14:09like the gas companies. But that’s not the case with the average business out there. There’s a lot of competition to the average business. Even big business has a lot of competition. And unfortunately, in the world, United States-owned businesses like my own that’s trying to go globally like my own are at a disadvantage with these tariffs than other companies that are located in other countries, especially those countries like Ireland
• 14:34that has a 10% business tax on income where we have a 21 minimum. Some of it, when you add state income taxes and everything to it are are 30-35%. And what is the people, and if the company is going to, let’s say they’re going to eat 10% of the 15% tariff, so there’s a little bit of price increase, and everybody says,
• 14:54well, I got to do it. What’s that company going to do now that they’re making less money off their products? They’re just going to tell their stockholders, well, we’re not going to have the revenue we used to have. No. They got to find a way to cut. They got to find a way to either cheapen the product, which makes a more inferior product,
• 15:13which could end up putting them out of business, especially with foreign competition. That’s number one way they can do it. The other way they could do it is they could start looking at employees and say, do we really need all these people? And start laying people off. And that is going to happen.
• 15:28You’re going to see unemployment rise. Right now it hasn’t risen. There’s a very good reason why it hasn’t risen right now. Because the economy is so shaky, businesses like my own are deciding, you know what, we’re not going to lay anybody off right now, but we’re not going to hire nobody. So there’s no job openings amongst good paying jobs because nobody really realizes what the
• 15:52tariff’s going to do to their bottom line. You don’t want to hire a bunch of people just to lay them off in four or five months when all of a sudden you find out this great big crash to the economy from tariffs. And it’s going to happen. You can bank on it. It’s always happened in the past, it’s going to happen again. And it’s just something that by the fall, by November, by December, by Christmas time, even though I don’t follow Christmas and neither should you, there’s going to be some
• 16:24moaning and groaning when people go to Amazon or they go to Walmart or they go to Target and they want to buy some toys or some presents for their wife or children or husband or family members or friends at work and they’re gonna see the toll of inflation due to tariffs because you want to know what? Too many things are not made in America and there is no way they’re going to be made in America for
• 16:49the next five, six, seven years and President Trump is going to be long gone and the next administration is going to go back to the old way. Just realize that. This is just an actual pig in the poke. It’s not going to work. It’s not going to work at all. And I’ll tell you something else. Going on to the next subject that’s not gonna work. The White House is not gonna be able to put the Epstein affair behind them. I know they’re trying and they got best out every day from the Treasury and they got all these people out touting how great the economy is. Are you
• 17:23really doing great? If you are, congratulations. But I don’t know too many people today other than the real 1% ultra-rich that make money in spite of themselves. I don’t know anybody who thinks the economy is just fantastic. I don’t know anybody. I talked to a lot of people and I don’t know anybody who thinks that the economy is going great. If that was the case, then Trump would have a better than a 37 to 40 percent approval rating
• 17:50right now if everything is going as great as he says it’s going. But why they’re out there touting all of these deals, which we have no idea, but these tariff deals, what the real deals really are, we don’t really know. But the real reason they’re putting these people out trying to make all these deals and why I think Trump is really trying to make deals now that he would made maybe a month ago is because he’s trying to bury this Epstein matter and it’s not going away. Now I will admit, here’s the key here, among the
• 18:24independent voter, which is always very important for election years, the independent voter probably is thinking like the guy that works on my house. So he’s a carpenter, he’s in his mid-60s, and he’s got it all figured out.
• 118:38He’s probably where most of the independent mind thinkers are. And that is, yes, probably Trump had something to do with it himself, he’s probably guilty of something, but so was Bill Clinton, so was everybody else. There’s no story here.
• 18:53He probably was murdered because of what he knew, but that’s what happens in America today. And I think so many Americans suffer from that problem. They really rather just not fight it anymore because their mind cannot comprehend the idea what they know is true in that their government
• 19:14is corrupt, evil, and their enemy. And that’s the plain truth. And so what they’d rather do is accept that fact and move on and live their daily lives and say it doesn’t have anything to do with me. I didn’t have nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein. And if Trump was involved and he was doing young women himself or not, it doesn’t make a difference because everybody else was doing it.
• 19:35That’s powerful as well. Makes no difference. I’m moving on. So yes, I think Trump is going to be able to mitigate the damage of the Epstein affair with the people in the middle, the independent, which is about 35% dependent on who you talk to, about 35% of the people who vote are independents and they can go either way. And I think Trump accurately did a good job putting that off. Or did he really do a good job?
• 20:04And I’m going gonna get into that. Because here’s his problem. This Epstein affair is not going away. First of all, you know, a third, let’s say a third of these same voters are Democrats. Well, the Democrats,
• 20:16although they may not really wanna see these Epstein files released because all of their names are in there too, as the independent voter has already came to that conclusion, that everybody’s involved that’s in DC. I agree with them.
• 20:29So they’re not gonna wanna really see all this stuff revealed but they’re gonna make hay because they see blood in the water and they also think Trump is probably more deeply involved than he wants to admit. I don’t know if I’m there yet, but I have
• 20:45to admit I can’t figure out why he’s doing some of the things he’s doing. It doesn’t make sense. And every time he talks about what Epstein did to him or what they did together and why he got rid of Epstein and why he threw him out of Mar-a-Lago, every time the man opens his mouth, he opens up another ten questions because they don’t match what he said a year ago, two years ago, and five years ago. And I would imagine his handlers are probably trying to tell him, Donald, you got to shut your mouth about
• 21:14this if you want it to go away because every time you talk it gets worse and it does. And but Donald Trump is impossible to talk to because of his ego. But the truth is that third of the electorate, the Democrats, are gonna use this against Donald Trump and all Republicans who voted to bury that report in Congress.
• 21:33And that’s gonna help them win back voters. And already you saw yesterday, I think it was yesterday, that now in a matchup between Republicans and, I’m sorry, Democrats in the House of Representatives for the 26th election, for the first time now in almost a year and a half, the Democrats have taken a slight lead over the Republicans as being the ones that are favored by both independents and
• 22:02the Democrats, of course, and a few of the Republicans. Now we get back to where Trump is really messing up with this Epstein affair, and that is he is not going to be able to shake this from the most important voter for Donald Trump possible, and that is the people who very rarely ever voted in the first place, who came out to vote for Donald Trump, the MAGA people, who know that everything is corrupt, who believe everything is corrupt. They’re probably right on everything they believe.
• 22:34And now they think that Donald Trump is corrupt. Last Friday, we talked about the guy, you remember the guy with the big horns, January 6th guy that was thrown in prison and not given any rights and lost his rights, the Bill of Rights, Chase Lee, I think his name was. But anyway, here’s a man put in prison with no lawyer,
• 22:56no way that he could appeal. He lost his right for habeas corpus and Donald Trump comes into office and pardons him within the first few weeks of taking office. He gets a pardon from Donald Trump.
• 23:08And when Donald Trump handled the Epstein affair the way he did in the first two weeks, this man, pardoned by Donald Trump, said, F Donald Trump, I would never do anything to help him again. He is part of the problem. When you have MAGA people who went to jail for you doing that, you have a problem Donald Trump and your arrogance is not going to
• 23:31solve that problem. I’m afraid you don’t want to release those tapes because maybe, or not the tapes, but the records, the files, because maybe there’s stuff there you really can’t explain and that’s a problem and it’s gonna not go away and that’s my opinion on that. And on top of that we have a story on the Plain Truth Message Board about Virginia Gufra, I believe her name is, family reacting now to Donald Trump’s claim that Epstein stole her from his Mar-a-Lago place. She was working for Donald Trump there and
• 24:04that this is one of the reasons he got rid of Epstein and threw him out of Mar-a-Lago because he was recruiting his young girls that was working at his night spot there, his club. And that family says, that means Donald Trump knew what he was doing.
• 24:23If this guy was taking his people and he just banished him from Mar-a-Lago, why didn’t he report that to the police if he knew what was going on? So every time Donald Trump opens his mouth, more troubles happen.
• 24:35And this is the family of the woman who, I had a lot of trouble, she committed suicide most likely last month or a month, two months ago now, but she is a victim. Her whole life was destroyed because as a 14, 15 year old, she became a prostitute. Not good for anybody.
• 24:54Another story that we talked about really briefly in the Plain Truth is this Virginia lawmaker who was doused by gas and set a fire where he worked. And it probably is not politically motivated like people first thought. He knew the guy and we’ll see by next week, but I think a lot more is gonna come out about this. And I think it’s gonna be more, a lot of personal things.
• 25:18There’s probably gonna be some kind of love triangle or something like that. But anyway, we won’t go into that one because we don’t know nothing about it. The last thing I really want to talk about is this this order by the Trump administration to protect the grid. When Donald Trump does wrong, I tell you he does wrong. When he does right, he does
• 25:37right. And this is something that The Plain Truth, if you’ve been following our articles for the last 15 years, you know that we talk about the grid and how the grid is just hardly hung up there by a thin piece of wires like, and it’s about ready to collapse at any moment. And if the grid went down by an EMP attack, not just by the sun, the sun can cause this to happen and that’s a real problem, but nations can cause EMPs by low-order nuclear bombs in the atmosphere over top of nuclear power facilities that put
• 26:09them out and also over any power facility not just nuclear and put them out of business and the grid would go down and some reports say that within a week if we could not get the grid in the United States up within a week millions would die and within two weeks, tens of millions would die. Now I know a lot of people have emailed me and text me and talk to me that see me and when I say these kind of things they say that’s
• 26:35impossible. No it’s not. You’d be surprised how little food the average person really carries in his house and if there was an EMP strike to get that food, it’s gonna be tough. And those who have that food are gonna find a Mad Max type situation of people breaking down their walls and their doors and their stores to get that food
• 26:56with guns in their hands. And it’s gonna absolutely be a real tragedy coming when that, if that EMP strike happens. So I do say that Donald Trump is doing the right thing here and his administration by trying to find a way to patch this grid and to protect it,
• 27:15at least from foreign enemies that could do us a lot of damage. Now, we’re about out of time and I wanna get into about what’s going on this weekend. On tonight’s 7-Eleven Friday Night Show, we’re going to have a video, a YouTube video, with Michael Flynn reflecting on the Russia investigation, the Russiagate hoax, which it was, and what happened to him and how, again, I think a good man was totally ripped apart by Democrats and by the media
• 27:48and really got no real protection from Donald Trump after Trump became president and could have stopped this whole thing, but never did. That’s tonight at 7-Eleven. Tomorrow morning at 7-Eleven, we’re gonna do a different kind of religious show
• 28:01for the Sabbath. You know, many times we may play one of my shows about God or what’s in the Bible or doctrines that are wrong. Sometimes we play people like Garnerted Armstrong or other commentators about the Sabbath day, the proof of the Sabbath day, or the holy days, or fake Christianity, or things like that. But once in a while, we actually just put up a verse, you know, a book of the Bible that you can listen to.
• 128:29And it’s like a Bible study. You can just sit there and at your desk or in your living room, you can put it through your TV or however you wanna do it, or through your iPad or your iPhone. And you can listen to the Bible being read to you.
• 28:41And tomorrow morning, it’s gonna be the entire book of Daniel. It’s about an hour and 20 minutes, but it’s the entire book of Daniel in the King James version, but it’s read by the greatest voice ever to record Bible, Bibles is Alexander Scorby.
• 29:01Alexander Scorby is a Shakespearean actor and you know his voice. Anybody who’s ever heard the Bible on a radio show being read by someone is probably Alexander Scorby, but he only does the King James Version. However, when he reads the King James Version,
• 29:18you really can understand it. He does a great job, he’s got a great voice, and I really hope that people spend the Sabbath day tomorrow listening to the book of Daniel. We’ve been talking a lot about the book of Daniel and what it means for your future, what it means for the future of Europe and the United States of America. I really wish you
• 29:34would listen. Then tomorrow night for our short story, it’s also going to be a Bible short story, it’s going to be a short story entitled, The Story of Daniel, and it’s a video short story and it’s a very easily explained book or story on Daniel. It’s not necessarily reading out of the Bible but it’s making it more clear. And that’s tomorrow’s programming. Sunday we’ll have a really good one as well but we’ll figure that out later.
