Friday’s Wrap-Up with Bob: January 10, 2025 (Transcript)

Hello, it’s Bob Barney with The Plain Truth today, and it’s another Friday wrap-up broadcast where we wrap up the news of the week that was covered on The Plain Truth. It is important to help everyone see what the news can mean for you personally and for your family so you can find out if there is anything you can do about it.

The big news still, of course, is both the terrorist attack in New Orleans and the person who looks like they may have committed suicide in Las Vegas. He was in a Tesla truck at the Trump Casino, and we still don’t have any information. We put a story up last Sunday about someone who claims they had gotten a letter from the guy the day before and we do know he was a Green Beret. We also know that parts of that letter are accurate when it states that he was working on a drone program for the United States government and that he was claiming our drone program and China’s drone program was looking into anti-matter technology for propulsion. We don’t know if he really did commit suicide or if he was murdered of if he’s in a witness protection program. If you’ve noticed that story has seemed to die. It seems to have gone away and no one’s talking about it so in my estimation you have to ask yourself, I wonder why that is.

3:05 I often find it quite amazing that when you have these big top stories in the news and yet they just disappear within a few days’ time. It is uncanny how when the government decides to shut down anybody asking too many questions, and it seems like our press today simply follows the lead of the government, and when the government doesn’t want to talk about a story anymore, the press stops asking questions and the story disappears.

It’s why Rush Limbaugh always called this press the drive-by media press because they drive by and they shoot some victim down, and then they forget about them and go on to the next story and the next story and the next story, and they never go back and they never re-look at the stories they covered before. They just left the stories wide open, and that is why I’m always suspicious when you see any story.

We had this amazing audio come out over the weekend. We put it up Sunday night, a special edition on the Plain Truth Today webcast, and talked about it all day Sunday and Monday, and then it just died. There’s nobody all of the sudden talking about it.

5:45 Is it true? Was the story true? Where is the guy? Did the DNA really come back and it is his? If so, it’s kind of amazing that DNA which usually takes eight to ten weeks to get back happened to come back in eight to ten hours. We have these stories, and then they just disappear from our news, and our reporters and our news agencies just don’t seem to have the will to take a story and investigate it further, even though maybe our government doesn’t want them to. I thought that was their job, to find out what the news was and what it means, and to report it to the mass population. That is what I always thought the news was about, but it doesn’t seem to be the case when it comes to that.

So now we’re still sitting and still waiting on what’s going to happen with this story. Is it going to go anywhere? Does it have any legs? Is it just going to go into oblivion? You remember that guy in Vegas, was it three or four years ago, who shot all of those people at a concert from the Mandalay hotel? We don’t know any more about that now this many years later than we did the day it happened. Nobody talks about it, nobody asks any questions about it, nobody knows what the motivation really was about it, and it was just dried up by media. It’s just gone. Nobody even talks about it. Nobody could even remember if you brought it up, and probably I just brought it up, and half of us out there in the audience don’t remember it already. This is what happens when you don’t have a media with your best interest at heart. I’ll give you another story that’s disappeared.

What’s happened to the people in North Carolina? What’s happened to the people in Florida after the hurricanes, or Georgia, or Alabama, or Kentucky, or Virginia even? How are they doing? What are they doing in this cold wintertime that they have? They had a bunch of snow, and they have a cold weather in the North Carolina regions especially. Where are they getting their money from? What kind of repairs are going on? Now, Congress did appropriate a hundred million dollars for those victims after the MAGA Republicans didn’t want to do it, even though we can help every other country in the world, Angola, Ukraine, you name it.

8:23 So… what happened?

Where are the updates of what’s going on in North Carolina? What kind of rebuilding is going on? Nobody seems to have an interest. Nobody has an interest when everyday Americans suffer, even constantly suffer and do without. People care more about what’s going on in Ukraine, it seems like, at least the media does care more about what’s going on in Ukraine rather than what’s going on in North Carolina, Florida, Alabama, and Georgia…the places that got hit so hard by those two hurricanes.

That’s just what we try to do with The Plain Truth. We do try to at least make people recall these stories that are still out there and are not being answered, and it’s just a tragedy.

Another story. Researchers that were funded by Bill Gates are trying to turn mosquitoes into flying syringes to deliver vaccines to those who don’t want to take vaccines. It almost sounds like a Saturday Night Live kind of headline, but when you read it, it’s true. Bill Gates is the guy who is making millions and maybe billions, I don’t know, but at least tens of millions of dollars. People think of Bill Gates as Microsoft. Well, Bill Gates has a lot of different business ventures, and one of the biggest businesses he has is big pharma. He’s making all these vaccines and he’s selling these vaccines to the United States government. That’s where he’s getting his money…he is getting into the governments of the world and access to the United Nations, funded by the United States government, by the way.

10:23 In Africa, for example, they force the people in Africa to take vaccines against their will, and how they do so is they hold an M16 to their head and they tell them they’re going to take a vaccine or they’re going to be killed. I know you’re not going to believe that’s true, but it is true. Do the research for yourself. It is forced vaccinations in Africa because the African people are afraid of these vaccines. Why? Because of all the harm they have done to them over the years.

Many people, again, do not know this, but we have used Africa and we have used Eastern Europe as a science lab to test all kinds of medicines on unsuspecting people who can’t fight back. We do this so we can see what kind of problems occur when they take certain medicines. If they did this in America, there’d be so many lawsuits that these companies would never be able to recover, but they do it in places and with people who can’t sue them, and they don’t care about what happens to them. Honestly, it’s a scandal that nobody investigates and one that nobody seems to care about.

11:34 So, we have now Bill Gates’ vaccine companies trying to deliver vaccines via a mosquito. Yeah, still another big story that we covered this week, and we had it on the Plain Truth Today, we had videos over the weekend, we have a video up this week as well, is about the jet that crashed in Korea. A 737-800 Boeing jet looks like it had a bird strike while it was landing in a South Korean airport that was basically a very poorly constructed airport when you consider they had a concrete barrier at the end of the runway. Didn’t make much sense to anybody that I saw interviewed, any pilot that I saw interviewed. In America, for example, at the end of most runways of any major airport, there’s breakaway concrete and then sand to stop jets if they can’t stop themselves. Either their brakes fail, their engines fail, or they have to belly land, and the minute they hit this breakaway concrete or the sand, they come to a halt.

I remember many years ago, we were riding around the Lake Tahoe area, I guess it was around 1995, and we were going down this hill. When you see going down these long hills, really mountains-like, you see ramps that go back up again, go 200 or 300 feet, maybe 100, 300 yards. These are the runaway areas where if a truck is going down the hill and loses its brakes, it can take veer off to that steep ramp, and it’s going to go back uphill full of really sticky sand. It is a special sand that they put there, and it bogs the wheels down so that the truck will come to a halt just in case it loses its brakes. So we don’t only do this in America at our airports, we do it also in a lot of our mountainous regions where we have to have truck stops built into the side of the roads. Well, in South Korea, I guess they don’t really care about human life when you construct a concrete barrier at the end of a runway. Now, there are many, and I put up quite a few stories and videos by different pilots, their take on what really happened, because no one can understand.

12:56 You see the video, and the video is the most awesome thing I’ve ever seen in my life. Awesome as in it is terrifying and it’s terrible, but it’s also mesmerizing because you see a jet landing and it is landing on its belly with the wheels up on the concrete, and it never slows down. You can hear at least one engine running, and it looks like there is no real attempt to slow it down, and it crashes into the concrete barrier at an estimated 150 knots, which is 180 miles an hour head-on into a concrete barrier, and the plane just exploded and disintegrated into parts. Then, miraculously, two stewardesses at the tail end of the airplane actually survived the crash, probably throwing clear. That’s how a lot of people do survive these crashes, and if they were in their seats, you know, stewardess at the end of the planes, they sit backwards, which kind of protects them from having neck injuries that break their necks and kills them instantly.

14:11 The thing that many pilots are saying about this crash, which I find quite intriguing, and I think is probably accurate, is that they believe that the pilots either had a double bird strike, like Captain Sully did in New York City when he landed on the Hudson some 15 years ago, or they had a bird strike and they shut off the wrong engine, but it seems to most pilots that you talk to that the only reason that anybody would belly land with the flaps up and not down is because they had no engine power at all working, even though we could hear an engine running, maybe it didn’t make any thrust, and so they were trying to glide to the airport without falling short, and if they put down their landing gear and they put down their flaps, they could have never been able to cover the miles it took to get to the airport and circle around it and re-land, and so what they were doing was trying to glide. But as one pilot, and we put this show up, I think it was Tuesday, one pilot who has flown the 737-800 as well as other airplanes did have a good point. When they were landing, and they realized when you’re belly up landing on a concrete runway, it’s almost like landing on ice because there’s a lot of friction, maybe, but not enough to slow down a big airplane.It would have been better if they took to the grass, and as he pointed out, the minute they noticed the concrete barrier, if they didn’t know it was there in the first place, they could have done a hard left rudder or right rudder and they could have driven that plane at all 150 knots worth of speed into the grass to the right and ended up into the water that surrounds the airport, and the water would stop any explosion and it would stop any fire if it went into the water, and maybe there would be injuries, but probably no one would die. And he was asking the question in this video, why wouldn’t they try to avoid that concrete?

It appears to me, and I’m talking really early, and I’m not an expert, and we do have to wait for the investigation, which is probably going to take a year before we know anything, and of course the mainstream media, the drive-by media is going to forget about the story for the whole time, but it could be wrapped down just to pilot error. I published a show when I talked about the Ethiopian airliner that crashed with the new Boeing 737 Max. Boeing was sued and Boeing’s in trouble over it, and I pointed out that the real problem with that airplane was not the airplane. Airbus has an airplane that has all kinds of problems that go on automatically, and pilots are trained to counteract them when the problems happen. They keep flying with those same problems like what Airbus 737 Max had, but these pilots, obviously in these third world countries, were not educated and trained how to work a complicated airplane.

15:32 The 737 Max is a very complicated airplane, and the plain truth of the matter is, unless you are a top-notch training pilot, you’re going to mess up, and that’s, in my opinion, what happened. It appears that is probably what even happened in South Korea.

Another story I covered, and it just hit close to home if you listen to my program this past Monday, I covered how the so-called FBI seizes over 150 pipe bombs in a shocking Virginia raid. My wife and I were out for our anniversary and driving home, we saw this huge amount of probably 40 or 50 police cars, blue lights everywhere, a command center, and they were raiding this little home on a farm. We knew there was something going on, although we couldn’t find the news for several days, actually over a week before it showed up on Epoch Times and the Daily Mail. At that time, we then find out that the FBI claims was the largest homemade bomb, pipe bomb manufacturing find they have ever had in the history of the FBI and the ATF, and I find that hard to believe only because the man was not arrested but for having a sawed-off shotgun. If he had all of these weapons, why in the world would they only arrest him for having an illegal sawed-off shotgun, which would be legal, by the way, if he just registered it?

I’m going to follow that story because it’s close to home, and I can keep following that story because I think this story is going to have legs in the future.

I think, like everything else, it was the last weeks of the Biden administration, and the FBI is just trying to really push this seizure.

Domestic terrorism is more of a danger than ISIS. Remember that. What happened was that it was revealed after the New Orleans incident, with this ISIS supporter killed all these people with his truck, and then we saw how Biden, two years ago, was telling people that ISIS is not a terrorist threat in America at all, even though we’ve let hundreds, maybe thousands over the border, and we don’t even know where they are. I think we have sleeper cells all over the place in America ready to go to war with us if we do something with Iran. But anyway, he was saying, oh, it’s everybody in the FBI and all the intelligence world know that America’s biggest threat is domestic terrorism by white racists.

17:44 There is no such proof of that, there is no such inkling that that is true, and once again, Biden going out of office, Trump coming in office, there’s this big raid in Smithfield which to me appears to be a nothing burger story. We’ll keep following up on that story as we see fit.

Well, welcome back, and probably the final thing I’m going to talk about here today is the California fires that are ravaging Southern California. Hollywood, Babylon, Hollywood is burning to the ground, and if there was a little bit of detection of sarcasm there, there needs to be, because the truth is we reap what we sow. California has for a long time refused to follow common sense when it comes to the environment, to wood management, forest management, that they used to do back in the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s, even the 90s probably, but I think by the 90s the environmental wackos in California really started changing so much stuff where they stopped all the nuclear power plants. You know, California should have all the electricity in the world. They should have probably four or five nuclear power plants. They wouldn’t need to be worried about any other kind of power, number one. Number two is when you are living in a desert. California really does not, Southern California especially, really it’s just a desert. It’s a desert. It is not supposed to have true heat. It’s not supposed to have underbrush other than what you see in a desert kind of a climate. It’s all man-made. You have houses side by side. Where are the zoning laws? Should you really have houses five feet apart from each other in those neighborhoods in California when you know that high winds, hundred mile an hour winds come and blow fire around, and then when one house catches on fire, 10 houses burn…even 20 or even 100 houses burn.

21:21 It’s just that there is no common sense there at all. It’s liberal, wacko politics that the California people deserve. You get the government, you deserve. I agree, and I’ve said this before, that I think maybe there’s a lot of stolen elections in California, and maybe the people are not as responsible as I’m putting the blame on them right now. But then again, they are responsible because you can take to the streets and you can start causing such a mess that the press is going to have to cover it, and the politicians are going to have to do something. The people have been complacent in California, because let’s face it, America itself is complacent when it comes to following common sense and God’s laws and following what God wants us to do.

We have become a lawless nation, and we may complain about the lawless nation when some illegal kills our daughter or our next-door neighbor, but the truth of the matter is we’re lawless too.

Jesus Christ had a very good example about this when he talked about the Tower of Siloam when He asked, do you think those people were worse sinners than the rest of you guys? If you don’t change your ways, He says, you likewise will perish. Same with us. If America does not change its ways, we will perish.

What we are witnessing, and this is not going to go over very well, I’m sorry, but The Plain Truth tells you the plain truth.

You know, I tell my editor we’re never going to be a major news source for people. A lot of people ain’t going to come here, and the reason is they’re not going to want to come here because they’re not going to want to be told the truth, or as I say, the plain truth. Why? Because the plain truth is we’re sinners. The plain truth is that this country has lost its way. It’s not just the liberals. Look at these MAGA-republicans in the house. These people are self-centered, egotistical idiots that are standing in the way of any kind of help that Donald Trump can bring this country. They just are typical politicians. You know the old saying, you can tell when a politician is lying, their lips are moving. I listen to these people every day, and I just can’t take them anymore. And that is the MAGA-republicans as well as the democrats. They’re all liars, and they’re none of them are going to help this country in the long run unless they support a realistic, moralistic government. We don’t have a moralistic people. We have a people who basically want abortion. We have a people who basically want to go their own way. We have a people who think we need to forgive everybody. I see this on Instagram all the time. It says, forgive them even if they don’t mean it.

23:45 Well, that’s how you raise a brat. You know, if you don’t have discipline for your children, you’re raising a brat. And if you think that Christianity is just forgiving everybody for everything they do, even if they don’t ask for it, then what God is doing is raising brats. I’d guarantee you; God is not raising a brat. We are turning Christianity into something that was never meant to be. You know, the old saying back in the 1970s when I was an atheist, I used to laugh at it, but there were bumper stickers. I remember seeing it for the first time in Florida on a vacation in 1974 during spring break. My brother and I went to Florida during spring break, and we stayed in Hollywood, in that whole area of Florida, in Fort Lauderdale. And there was this bumper sticker that was quite rampant back then. It says, the good news is that Jesus is coming. The bad news is he’s really pissed. And, you know, a lot of Christians really didn’t like that bumper sticker, but it’s the truth. That bumper sticker is exactly what the Bible says. The good news is Jesus is coming. But if you want to read the book of Daniel, or if you want to read the book of Revelation, or if you want to read Matthew 24, you have a God that’s coming back here, and he’s not coming back here to be elected. He’s coming back here to rule with an iron rod. And he’s coming back here, and he’s going to destroy those who are not obedient. There’s going to be a lot of gnashing of teeth, as the King James Bible likes to put it out.

You know, we wonder where this tragedy is coming from in California. Well, a lot of liberal policies of not doing proper fire control, but there’s more to it than that. The people of California want to have sex whoever they want to have sex with. It’s okay to be a homosexual. It’s okay to be this, or that, or transvestite, or whatever you want to let everybody be what they want to be. And all of this liberal nonsense, it’s no different than Sodom and Gomorrah. Well, my friends, what happened to Sodom and Gomorrah? God destroyed them, both cities. Do you think it’s going to be any different than San Francisco, LA, Asheville, North Carolina? People will say, well, look at what happened in Asheville, North Carolina. Go to a search engine, put in Satanism, Asheville, North Carolina, and you will be surprised what you’re going to find out. You understand? We reap what we sow, and we are sowing the seeds of destruction that God has warned us in Deuteronomy 28 and Leviticus 26, that what we need to do is follow God’s laws. No, we have ministers I want to say God’s laws have been done away with. They have not.

26:56 We need to follow God’s laws and realize, like Jesus said, you think the people in California are worse sinners than you are? If you don’t repent, you will likewise perish. We as a nation need to repent, we need to get back with God, and we need to understand we are the problem. Not our politicians, not the Democrats, not the Russians, not the Chinese. We American citizens are the problem, and we need to get back to God as a people and stop caring about liberalism and of our own self. Yeah, we want to stop spending on projects that don’t help us, but we don’t want to stop spending on the projects that do help us. And when there’s a catastrophe, we want the government to pay for it.

Whenever anything goes wrong in our personal life, we want the government to step in. We don’t want it to step in for our neighbor, but we want it to step in for ourselves. That’s got to change America, and it’s not going to, we’re going to just be destroyed.

Well, tomorrow is the Sabbath day, and in the morning we’re going to have a good Sabbath study on the Bible, and how we got the English Bible, and then for the movie, we’re going to have a whole movie again like we did last week. Last week it was about Corrie ten Boom in the hiding place, but this week is going to be the story, and it’s a movie on YouTube, and it’s going to be a story about William Tyndale, the person who really brought us the English Bible that we know today ended up being the King James version of the Bible. There’s a lot of blood on the Bible for you to read it, and William Tyndale’s blood was part of that blood that’s on that English version of the Bible that we take for granted, and we have all, you know, 80% of the homes in America have a Bible, and 96% of those homes probably never open it up and read it. People died to bring you that Bible in English. It’s about time that you understand that we need to start reading the Bible and stop listening to what people says is in the Bible, but start doing and reading it for ourselves and doing the things that God tells us to do in the Bible, and the Bible, by the way, consists mainly, two-thirds of the Bible is the Old Testament. It’s not something we are not supposed to read. You’re supposed to read the Old Testament as much as you read the New Testament. As a matter of fact, most of the New Testament you can’t figure out unless you read the Old Testament too, and it’s about time we appreciate what these people did for us and died for us to bring us this English Bible and start reading it. You know, and if we do, you know what’s going to happen? We’re going to save our nation for a little bit longer, but if we don’t, we’re going the way of California, we’re going the way of Asheville, North Carolina, and we’re going the way of doom, destruction.

29:23 One last thing about the fires, and I’m going to have a short, probably Monday morning, about this. These fires are probably started by terrorists. We started this story way back in 2012, and nobody’s ever really picked it up, but we’re on that daily. We’re going to talk about that probably Monday morning. So have a safe Sabbath day and a great weekend. There’s going to be some snow in my area over Saturday time, and I hope everyone comes back here for Sunday show that we have, and Monday morning I’ll be back.
