Good evening, this is Bob Barney with the Friday Wrap-Up, and yes, we’re doing this 7-11 p.m., and I think we’re going to do that from now on because sometimes when you get up four o’clock in the morning and you start doing the Friday Wrap-Up before you even see the Friday news, you don’t really have Friday included. So I thought that it would be best maybe that we have a Friday Wrap-Up type noontime show with somebody else, you know, find something of the week that’s talking about the news that you put up, you know, Thursday night. And at Friday, 7-11 p.m., would be the time that we would do the Friday Wrap-Up.

So today’s Friday Wrap-Up is starting for the first time at 7-11 p.m. Welcome aboard. This is Bob Barney with The Plain Truth Today, brought to you by theplaintruth.com. For some reason, the lights just went out here, but they came right back on. I hope the generator don’t have to start or it’ll be very noisy.First thing I want to talk about with the Friday Wrap-Up is, again, the price of gold. Gold now hit $4,350 last night. And this morning, I think they said it was $4,312. That’s $4,320. Just six months ago, it was $3,600, $3,500 actually. And I say this over and over again, and I just want to say, and same with silver, by the way, it’s $53.50, that when the price of gold goes up, it has not gone up at all.

Your dollar has gone down. It represents inflation. And we are in runaway inflation. I don’t care what Donald Trump says or Republicans say and what most of the business channels say. Most Americans are living not even paycheck to paycheck anymore. They can’t even afford to live. They’re putting things on credit cards. We have a trillion-dollar credit card deficit going on in this country right now, a trillion dollars. We have about a trillion dollar student loan that’s not paid for going on in this country.

We have a $37 trillion federal debt right now, and that’s not counting the other $90 trillion in unfunded liability of the future. We are in trouble as a country. And the tariffs and Donald Trump 2.0 has not been the answer. In fact, I think what Donald Trump has done is he’s learned too much from the Democrats. He’s seen how successful the Democrats were in winning elections by giving everything away and really not caring about their base. The Democrats have never really cared about their base they only cared about their own power. Well, it seems to be the same thing. When Donald Trump is doing tariffs, when Donald Trump is doing all of these manipulations of the stock market and other ventures and food prices keep going up, gasoline is still very high, it’s the people who voted for him that are being screwed.It’s not the billionaires. In fact, I can make the case that Donald Trump has become a Democrat in policy because of the billionaires around him. I told you the story a long time ago when 1988 election and I was working for Seahawk Paint at the time, a bottom boat paint company.And probably one of the richest people I’ve ever met in my life came by a boat show and wanted to buy some paint from us and he invited us on his boat. And on his boat was this big telephone and it had Wyoming Ranch, Arizona Ranch, it had LA Condo, had a New York penthouse and all his houses were fast dialed. This is how rich he was.

He made his money. He was a dentist from Canada and he made his money with a very famous oil discovery in Canada called the Bonanza oil strike. And there was actually a book written about him and his partners called the Blue-Eyed Sheiks.  And he was telling me how they made their money with oil. But really since then, he really started making his money in commodities. He provided 100% of the orange juice, for example, for public supermarkets, which was probably a $50 million deal just on orange juice. And he had orange groves all over the state of Florida. And I remember in 1988, we’re watching the news and he said, you’re probably going to vote for Bush, right? I said, yeah, I’m not going to vote for Dukakis. Are you? He goes, of course, rich people don’t vote Republican.

Republicans are for the middle-class. Rich people vote for Democrats because Democrats give you inflation. And that’s how rich people make their money, off inflation.  “I bought orange juice at 25 cents a pound when Ronald Reagan became president and was selling it at 10 cents a pound a year later and lost my buck.”  He said under Jimmy Carter, you would buy orange juice at 3 cents a pound and sell it for 35 cents a pound because of the runaway inflation. Billionaires and multimillionaires do not make money with their hands. They do not make money even with their brains or what they produce. They make money investing in commodities that go up with inflation. And I believe there is no way, no how that Scott Besant, who worked for George Soros, a master of manipulation of inflation in countries, and Donald Trump, surrounded by his tech billionaires, who again, they make their money on the inflated dollar value of their companies, which are worthless.

Amazon went for 15 years and never turned a profit, yet was worth, I forgot, 100 billion or $200 billion when they started making a profit. These are people who make money off of inflation. This is why your billionaires have always hated Ronald Reagan and any type of Reagan type policies. Donald Trump has become as Democrat oriented in his policies with this big, beautiful Democrat bill that no Democrat voted for because it’s all politics right now in DC. There’s such a division that we are in trouble as a country. I had a show a few months back. I don’t know if anybody heard it. Go back in our podcast and you can go look for it. America is done for. America is a fourth world country. Kenya is probably richer than America right now. Yes, you got your top 10, 15% of Americans who have all the money in the world and they don’t care what anything costs. And you have the rest of the people can’t even live any longer from paycheck to paycheck. I explained earlier in a show this week, in 1925, a $20 gold certificate was worth one ounce of gold. You could turn it into a bank and get an ounce of gold.

So if you made $20 a week, you earned one ounce of gold. Well, today, if you have one ounce of gold pay a week, that means you’re making $4,350 a week. Are you making $4,350 a week? Inflation has destroyed the middle class of this country. Our country from its founding in 1792, 1791, until 1933 had no inflation, zero, zip, none. But since 1933, we’ve had about 4,000% inflation, where $20 in 1925 is now $4,350. You have to make 40. That is also why, which I explained earlier in the week in the show, I wish if you didn’t hear it, go back and listen to the whole show. It’s why in 1950s and the 1960s, one breadwinner, the husband, could go out and make enough money to support his entire family, buy a car every year or two, have swimming pools, have vacation time, and the woman stayed home as a stay-at-home mom. Just watch your 50s and 60s sitcoms.

Women ain’t working, are they? They’re not working at all. It’s the men working, and they’re supporting the family very well. Now it takes two breadwinners to try to break even, and they even can’t break even. If that’s not a sign of the decline of America, there is no better sign. The next thing I want to go into right before we take a break is this John Bolton indictment that came down last night, Thursday night, and it is a sham. It’s a total sham. The man, I am not a John Bolton fan. I have not been a John Bolton fan. He is a war hawk, but what it shows me, again, you got Donald Trump yesterday saying what a creep the man is. Well, Donald Trump is the man who made him National Security Advisor. Donald Trump picks the wrong people all the time, according to Donald Trump. Donald Trump goes after all the people that have turned on him, that he put in place.  If you’re a boss and you keep hiring bad people, eventually, if you were a CEO of a company with stockholders, they’d fire your butt for hiring people that you come out and say later on are creeps, crooks, whatever, when you yourself, your sons have made $5 billion off of your Trump coin. It’s not even an American-based coin. It’s a, I’m sorry, a Dubai-based coin. $5 billion in six months’ time, much more money than Hunter Biden ever made. And then you have mega people saying that Biden should have gone to jail, but it’s okay that Donald Trump makes that money. Or as Marjorie Taylor Greene said, well, we’re in power now when she made $180,000 in a month.

This is the problem with this country. Our politicians have sold us down the drain and we are not coming back. And this was prophecy of God. Again, the plain truth talks about the news of the world in relationship to what God in the Bible says about it. America is the nation of Ephraim that you find in The Bible, which is part of the word Israel. Israel was the name of Jacob, which means he prevailed. He fought against God and prevailed. And he gave that name to the sons of Joseph. His son, Joseph, had two sons, Ephraim and Manasseh. Ephraim, the younger, Manasseh, the older. And he, almost on his deathbed, he blessed those two sons and said, let my name, Israel, be on these two sons. That is why the nation of Israel today is a false nation. It should be the nation of Judah. You go to the Bible and whenever the tribes of Israel broke into two, the Northern tribes, wherever Ephraim and Manasseh were, were called Israel in your Bible. And the tribes to the South, which was basically Judah and Benjamin and Levi, were called Judah.

The modern nation of Israel should be called Judah because Israel is the United States of America, Canada, England, and the Commonwealth. That’s where lost Israel is, or two of the tribes. The other tribes, Dan, for example, is Denmark. France is Reuben. Netherlands is Naphtali. You can find all of the so-called lost Israel, and it’s the modern world. In America, as Ephraim, go through the book of Hosea, and I may do that next week in one of the programs. Just go through the book of Hosea and replace, every time you see the word Ephraim, replace it with America or the United States. And you will see an exact prophecy of the state that we are in today, and it’s disturbing. And going back to this John Bolton indictment, it’s just a political indictment because John Bolton turned against Donald Trump because he didn’t like Trump’s policies. I’m not a John Bolton fan, but I’m also not a fan of lawfare. I wasn’t a fan of lawfare when it was going on with Donald Trump, and I’m not a fan of lawfare when it goes on with any of Donald Trump’s enemies. Now, there are certain people who did break the law, like Letitia James, James Comey, who deserve to be indicted, that I do not disagree with. I’ll be right back. It’s the evening edition, which will be from now on, on Friday evenings at 7-11.I think it’s the best time for it. And I want to get into the next thing, and that’s this government shutdown. Because this government shutdown, I don’t care what anybody wants to say, each party is just as much to blame as the other party. The Republicans are trying to blame the Democrats, and the Democrats are blaming the Republicans. But the truth of the matter is, is both sides are playing politics with your future, my future, your money, my money. And again, it’s an assault on what people expect their government to be able to do. I agree that Democrats are more probably at fault this time around. But what the Republicans need to do is one of two things. They need to either agree to extend the health care benefits, including to the illegals. It’s something they can fix later to get the government going and start negotiation. Remember, this is just a continuing resolution. We are spending money for Argentina. We’re spending money for Ukraine. Who knows what we gave Hamas? But now we’re going to take away insurance from the average American who got to used to having it. I was against Obamacare in the beginning, and I believe part of the reason that inflation to the medical cost inflation is so high is because of Obamacare. But there’s about 45 million Americans now, real Americans, not just the illegal Americans, real Americans, depending on that health coverage, which costs them sometimes nothing a month because they don’t make enough money. And the government subsidizes the entire policy. Most people pay probably between $65,000 and $125,000 a month.

I think there would be some concern, but I think people that are only paying $65,000 a month, you could go up to $200,000 a month, $300,000 a month, to be honest, because I think most people can afford it except for the indigent. But at the same time, these people, it’s just like Social Security. I think Social Security was a bad idea too. But I don’t want nobody to take away Social Security I paid the last 50 years into, and that’s what I think is going to happen eventually. But the same thing, people have gotten used to Obamacare, American citizens who voted for Donald Trump got used to it, and it’s going to be taken away. I’ll give you an example.  I got a letter two weeks ago from my anthem insurance company. I’m on Medicare. I’m 70 years old. And they said they’re going to drop my coverage. I’m going to have to find another insurance company to cover my medications. Well, I take some medications that are quite expensive. But here’s the clincher. I’m sorry, I’m tongue-tied here. Here’s the clincher about my insurance.

I pay myself about $75,000 a year out of our company. Used to pay a lot more, but because I didn’t want to pay so much taxes, I let other people, more employees and stuff make more money so they can survive this economy. But I pay myself $75,000 a year, and I file now because of my Medicare, and I’ll explain why, because this is something I don’t think anybody out there, and I’m not on Social Security, still working understands.

If you’re on Social Security and you’re still working, you’re still paying Social Security taxes. You’re still paying your FICA. You’re paying your Medicare taxes. You’re paying everything out of that salary. So out of $75,000 a year, I pay about $13,000 worth of total taxes. But that’s not the killer. The killer is I spend $7,200 a year out of my Social Security check, or my checking account, because half comes from one, and half I pay myself out of my pocket, for my free Medicare. Did you hear that? I pay $7,200 a year for my insurance with a $10,000 deductible. And the Democrats, or anybody who wants to think we’re going to go to a government healthcare system, when right now, there is no such thing as free Medicare, unless you’re an indigent or an illegal indigent. But if you’re working at age 70, and you’re making a modest income, which is not a great income, and you’re paying, my tax rate’s about 21%, you pay 21% taxes, you pay 5% Virginia sales as a state tax, plus all these other taxes you’re paying. Now you’re paying $7,200 a year, free medical care, Social Security, Medicare, and there’s not much money left over, is there? Just think about that, especially with this inflation. This country is in trouble.

And the government shutdown, do not let the Republicans or the Democrats tell you there’s no solution. They don’t want a solution on either side. Trump sees this as a way to get rid of a lot of federal employees. Do it honestly. Do it through Congress, where it’s supposed to be done. We’re not a dictatorship. Do it through Congress. You got the House; you got the Senate. I don’t even know why they need 60 votes, for example, for this continuing resolution. Because that’s not in the Constitution. The Senate can change it. They changed the filibuster rules for other things, didn’t they? Remember the Byrd rule, and the Reed rule, and all these other rules where they changed all these other bills where they couldn’t be filibustered needing 60 votes. They went to a simple majority. So why don’t the Republicans in charge say, well, the Democrats don’t want a deal. We’re going to make it a 51-vote majority rule in the Senate. This budget would go right through the way it’s supposed to go through, and hell with the Democrats. And if they get control next year, then they can do the same thing back to the Republicans. Let’s get this thing off the playing table.

top the games, because that’s what you have going on. Nothing but political gains. Nobody cares about you and me, but maybe a handful of Republican and Democrat officeholders. And I put both Republican and Democrat. I think this Federman from Pennsylvania, who I was against when he ran for election, listening to him the other night, he’s more for the American people and for his Pennsylvania residents than any other politician that’s ever been in Pennsylvania, in my opinion. I was really surprised to listen to what he had to say. He’s a man who’s honest in what he has to say. And that’s why the Democrats want to oust him and they want to get rid of him because he’s willing to work with Republicans. And there’s a few Republicans, very few Republicans doing the same thing. Donald Trump is not. Donald Trump is not being honest. He’s not being honest with you, with me, with his own party. He’s not even being honest when it comes to the corruption going on with people making money off of his policies, including his advisors and probably his family. His sons made $5 billion so far this year since he’s become president. And no one seems to have a problem with that, but I do.

The plain truth stands for exactly that, the plain truth of God. And I’m not beholden to any person on this earth except God, the Father, and Jesus Christ. That’s all I care about. That’s why we don’t take money on this show. We don’t take money because of the fact we’re not going to be dictated to what we can talk about. We talk about what God predicts what’s going to happen to this country, and it’s going to happen. And it’s happening a lot quicker than I thought. Within 30 years, this country went from being a pretty great country to a third or fourth world nation. I think if Americans were to travel overseas to Europe, to China, to Indonesia, to Malaysia, to even Africa, they would be surprised how well some of these people are living compared to us. We think we are the highest standard of living in the world. We’re not. We’re down, I think the last was around 21st in the world of standard of living.

We think we have the best health care in the world. We do not. We think we have the cheapest health care in the world. Some people do anyway. The Republicans try to say we do for the best bang for the money. We do not.We are behind on our road systems. You get a brand-new vehicle, and within three years they’re driving on a Virginia highway or any other highway I’ve been on, at least the east coast of the United States where we travel. I haven’t seen a highway that doesn’t ruin a car within two to three years because it’s just total disrepair. Do you know something like 65 percent, and this is our own government telling you this, about 65 percent of all highway bridges do not pass inspection? Think about that when you’re driving over a bridge. Six out of every 10 you’re driving over is not passing inspections for safety. We are not taking care of our infrastructure. We’re not taking care of our road systems. We definitely don’t have a railroad system for anything like what Europe has, what Japan has, what China has. It’s a crime that we spend money around the world where we should not be. I agree with Donald Trump there, but we also spend money on just corruption in government, and both parties are totally corrupt, and the result of this, in the Bible prediction of this, is eventually we’re going to lose the democracy and the liberties of this country, and we’re going to fall into a dictatorship ruled by foreigners. That’s what’s going to happen. Eventually, as we know when we study the Bible, Europe is going to be the beast of the Bible. Europe is going to be the ultimate enemy. China is not our enemy. What company that has the largest customer in the world in their company? Let’s say you make widgets, and 90% of your widgets comes from ABC company. Are you going to go to war and try to destroy the ABC company? Well, the same with China. China doesn’t want to go to war with the United States. They want to sell us.

They’re not our enemy. Even Russia is not our enemy. Russia is the enemy of Europe, and Russia is going to eventually, and Putin’s an idiot, is going to eventually find a Europe he can’t control .Right now, he thinks he can bluster his way and scare the Europeans into whatever he wants, but eventually Europe’s going to rearm. Germany is going to rearm. They started the draft, you know. They’re the fourth largest spending army in the world today behind Japan, number three, Russia, number two. I’m sorry, China, number two, and America, number one. Russia’s like sixth or seventh now in military spending, but Germany and Japan are coming back. We’ve had the shows about this, and Germany and Japan’s coming back, and things are not looking good for what’s going on in this country, and I just do not see it changing. I wish I could say it. I hope it can happen, and I thought we were going to get Donald Trump 1.0. We got Donald Trump 2.0 corruption, and we got Donald Trump 2.0 insanity.I think the man is totally off just trying to make money for himself and for his family, and he does no longer care about what happens to this government. I think the assassination attempt on him and the lawfare that he went through has made him deranged, because he acts like a deranged person, and if you weren’t a mega follower, and if you weren’t so far up Donald Trump’s behind, you would see what everybody else is seeing in the middle of the road. There’s a reason he’s got a 38% approval rating.

Joe Biden had a 38% approval rating, and he was a senile old man. It’s going to be cartoonish, an AI-generated fireplace living room with a fire cracking and some jazz music playing for a couple hours, just some kind of a different switch. Next week, remember, Wednesday nights, we have Western nights. We put up old Western stories or old Western TV shows. And again, the following Sabbath, we’ll probably go back to a short story again or a TV show again for the 7-11 p.m. Sabbath entertainment show. This thing that I’m putting up tomorrow, I listened to it yesterday at work. I had it on the background in my computer watching it as I was doing my work, and it was nice music.

It really was, and it was a nice, comfortable thing. So if you’re like sitting back, not wanting to watch TV or wanting to get your mind involved in a short story, you just sit there and you watch the video or you just listen to the music and do some other stuff, we’re just going to try it. We’ll see how many people watch it for the whole time when I do the count. But anyway, we try to jazz things up, and it’s going to be jazz music. We try to jazz things up for that Saturday night show, entertainment show. And especially if you’re probably driving somewhere and you put it on in your car and run it through your stereo, the music is going to be very relaxed, and there’s no commercials.

I don’t think there’s any commercials. It is a YouTube, so there could be some in there, but not any that I remember hearing. Anyway, that is for tomorrow. Sunday show, we’re going to probably put up not until Saturday because of some of the late-breaking things of what we’re going to put up Sunday, and then we’ll be back again Monday. Normal time, noon time, is usually when I do my broadcast. 7-11 morning, we usually find something off of YouTube that has to do with what’s going on in today’s news. And evening, sometimes we do the Best of Bob, sometimes we do some older shows, sometimes we do some new videos that have to do with what’s going on in today’s news. But usually, most noon times, it’s going to be my show or a show like my show.
