2024: What’s Ahead (TRANSCRIPT)

What is 2024 going to be like? What can you expect in this election year? We are in February, in a year that is a leap year, this month is 29 days instead of 28.

Hi, this is Bob Barney with The Plain Truth Today Podcast that starts at 7:11 every morning now.

I want to give you a little insight as to what I am expecting, not that God is telling me what is going on, He doesn’t sit and eat breakfast with me every morning like he does some people that you watch on TV that convinces you that they are so close to God…that if you could just be seen with them, that God could see you…as if they are important and you aren’t but you get important miraculously if you send them money.

God doesn’t talk to me that often, but God does make His will know to me in different ways and I am sure many out there experience the same thing.

We are almost halfway through the month of February, so what is this year going to be like? We still have most of the year ahead of us. You know, God’s year really starts in the spring, in March, and the year is 360 days long. There are 5 and a 1/4 no-days each year in God’s calendar because the earth actually slowed down. When God created the earth, many people don’t believe this, but this is The Plain Truth, you can prove many ways (I will do a show proving that the calendar is exactly 360 days as God created it) and His prophesies are based on a calendar of 360 days. The Jewish calendar of the lunar calendar is absolutely pagan from the Babylonian captivity. It was never the part of the Hebrew calendar or the Israeli calendar until Babylonian captivity. Gods people followed a calendar of 12 months, 360 days. Then they had to find out after the flood that they had to go to a 365-day calendar. But Heavens calendar is still 360 days. So, what they did, which is also what the Egyptians did with their calendar, just chose a different month to start their year (summer solstice) but God’s starts at the Spring Equinox and goes 360 days. There is another 5 days and every 4 years six days difference. So, the calendar of God simply is like what the Egyptians did, they put in days that did not count. 

Basically, what I have come to believe is that at the end of the year, there are 5 to 6 days that are not counted, basically counted as nothing days…until March 20, which is the first month of the New Year, every year Passover falls on the same date every year as well as the Holidays. This happens because God’s calendar is perfect, but the earth went from a 360-day rotation to a 365 and a quart day. We no longer follow a Lunar calendar because the moon after the flood also went from a 30-day new moon cycle to 129-and-a-half-day new moon cycle. If you follow a Lunar calendar today you have to do what the Jews do, every 3 years you have to put in a 13th month in order to get it right and your calendar is NEVER right. You are always 15 to 20 days off. If you depend on an accurate calendar, and God is perfection in accuracy, the Lunar calendar is going to destroy your society if you become industrialized as you need to know when things are going to happen at the same time.

The Egyptians Nile River flooded within the same 2 days every year, so their calendar had to be accurate; they follow a solar calendar. Before the flood the sun and the moon were actually in correspondence with each other. Every 30 days there was a new moon and the rotation around the sun was only. 

The weight of the earth must have slowed the earth down by about five and a quarter day. I am not sure how this is the case but reading the Bible, the only conclusion you can have is that prophesies proving the following, it never proves a 13-day calendar. If you go to The Plain Truth’s Message Board, put in the word God’s calendar in the search engine, you will find a plethora of articles about God’s true calendar that I have written and others, too, of a solar not a lunar calendar. It shows how God’s holidays fall on different times then when the Jewish holidays fall on; their holidays are really based on paganism based on the Babylonian captivity that they were under. That is just a side point.

But getting back to what is 2024 going to be like…in my opinion, I believe that even though it is an election year, and most election years seem to favor the party in power. What congress does for themselves…remember, all 435 congressmen in the entire house of representative goes up for election every 2 years. That is not the case for the Senate, that is a 6-year term. They devised in the constitution that only a 1.3 in the senate goes for election every two years. It takes a six-year cycle for the Senate to totally change over where it is usually 2 years for the House of Representatives to change over. 

So, this year, you are going to have the entire House up for election, which I think the Republicans are in a good position to lose the House…

Why? Because as in my former broadcast, I mentioned the Republicans died of eating their own. They did so by not trying to go after the democrats… it is just so obvious that they are flirting with disaster…but a third of the Senate is going to go up for election as well…it is possible that if the Republicans can only get their act together, not only can they win the presidency, but they can win the Senate and the House.

I am afraid, especially when we are in a depression, most people are suffering like they have not suffered in their lifetime…I don’t care if you are 68 like I am, I don’t care if you went through the stagflation, it was nowhere as bad as it is today for the working man in America. Businesses are suffering for the most part with the exception of the liquor business. This is because a lot of people drown themselves in pity or in celebration and happiness, so that is the one profession other than prostitution that never seem to have a down run. But businesses are off, and the world is in an economic crisis right now. Your economy is probably the worst economy in 80 years.

Japan has fallen into a recession unexpectedly last week. They expected a small growth in the second quarter, and they had a large loss of the GDP. This is the technical definition of a recession. The world is falling into a depression and how serious it is going to be, we are going to find out. Although this doesn’t happen in an election year because politicians want to get reelected, and they do not do things to cause any problems to the economy. They tend to cooperate for the only time in their life together to make sure each party keeps their own seats.

It was described once regarding the politics of today, that Congress is really a turkey with two wings. That really does explain congress because it is the same thing with two wings. A democrat and a republican wing. It is basically the same turkey.

They agree more than they do disagree when it comes to protecting themselves from us, the consumer. You know, the people that vote for them. 2024 will probably be a very poor economic cycle that again should be a boom. As I hate to say this as I don’t want to see anyone suffer economically including myself, but it should be a boom for republicans running for office because they are not in control of the Senate…usually those in control get to play but in this case I am fearful how the republicans are attacking each other…the unified message is that they do not have the ability to pull it together and it could end up destroying them in the election in October. 

But if things go on this way, I would expect to see a situation where three quarters or more of the American public are so destitute in hope of a better life for themselves and their children and grandchildren that they are going to go to the polls and maybe be able to overwhelm the thievery that the dems have down to a political science of stealing elections where they can’t even steal enough votes

or get enough absentee ballots to change the tide if the people decide they have had enough 640am. I know many people, many businessmen, and I say all the time, I have a paint company, my wife and I, so we talk to people of many walks of life, in the paint and chemical industry…. most people in our industry are reporting lower sales. The reason is, you feed your family, put gas in your car or paint your car? There are segments of this industry that are doing well. There are businesses that decide they are not going to buy a new truck, or a new cement or pickup truck, they are going to paint and repair what they have. SO that part of the business performs quite well in a down economic time. The other problem with stagflation though is even though the economy is hurting, and sales are down, the prices have never fallen so you can lower your prices to generate more business. This is what happened in 1978 under Carter which consequently got Reagan elected in a landslide. He pointed out rightfully, the misery index which he had added inflation and unemployment was over 20 percent. I believe the misery index and unemployment now is not 3 percent by the way.

There are five ways they get to unemployment btw, what you should be concerned about is participation rate, the number of people that should be in the workforce. 100 percent of the people that are eligible to work should be in the workforce, we are not talking about children or retirees, we are talking about working aged people. Our participation rate is only 62 perc. 38 percent of people are NOT WORKING for one reason or another. That is unemployment and the rate of unemployment is 38 percent. The inflation rate in my opinion is running around 7-10. Possibly 35 percent inflation rate giving how long Biden has been running down this country. That puts the misery index at 68 percent according to Reagan’s formula. We are in dire straits right now.

Unlike 1980, we are on the verge of World War III. With the United States of Europe especially looking to get out of their economic mess by warfare. Do not kid yourself. The reason why the deep states want to make war between Russia and China and Iran, is because the war industrial complex puts a lot of people to work, spends a lot of money which puts us deeper in debt btw, which will eventually the chickens will come home to roost as Obama’s minister would say…but the problem is they find their way out of depressions by warfare. Today as General McArthur, as I mentioned in a broadcast last Friday, he sat on the decks of the Missouri during the surrender of the Japanese in WWII and said that because of the atomic bomb, the idea of warfare has become untenable. We cannot continue to have world wars when you have the bomb that can destroy millions of people within minutes. If a hydrogen bomb were to go off for example in Tokyo or Peking, NYC, or Chicago, you are looking at 15 million people dying instantly. dd to that another 30 million dying in the 6 months after that.

One hydrogen bomb can do that over one city and we are close to that because we have morons leading the Western Nations toward a warfare that will bring disaster It may not bring back Christ yet, not that last war, I am not predicting that although it may be, I do not know, as I told you, God doesn’t dine with me and tell me what is on His mind…but I know there is going to be a war to end all wars to intervene and a millennia one day, but what scares me is that it isn’t the war and we are going to have a world war that ends up destroying the economy of the world and the livelihood of most people; possibly upwards of a billion people dying from nuclear exchanges and the world setback into a dark age like what happened after the fall of Rome. 

When Rome fell in the 6th century, the world fell into what is called the Dark Ages. No education, just rank poverty and disease everywhere in the Western world. The world went through 800 years of misery and death.  That was what happened when Rome fell. When the USA falls and the western allies fall due to warfare and their cities are destroyed and the world is plummeting into the dark ages again, we are looking at times like we have never seen in1400 years! That was when the dark age began. We have been at least almost 1000 years since the end of the dark age, and we get into the upper Middle Ages where things started to change and get better. That is what is on our table for 2024. That is why it is very important why the American people take this election more serious because this election is more important than any other election of your lifetime because if the democrats get control and they are the deep state today, things are going to get even worse than they are now. 

THere was a time when the democrats were for the workenslop maybe You can go back a long time and find out that they have always been kind of ant-American, and there are many republicans now that are dems in disgust that we call RINOS. But the leader of the dem party is Satan. They are an evil party. They are all about death, they stand for it and abortion and the end of America. America is the world’s policeman, it is that spirit that is talked about in Revelations that keeps the world from going into a dark age. But in Revelation we see that God removes that spirit from the earth, that is removing Americas’ power. That might be happening right now. When that happens the Bible says that the world plummets into the tribulation. If that happens we will get into a time like Jesus describes will be like no time in history and worse then the time of Noah where the world will destroy itself and mankind will destroy the earth if Christ would not return to save us from ourselves, which is going to happen. It doesn’t take you believing it for it to happen. You dont have to believe in God to make it happen. He will make it happen. 

I always tell people the story about a deer out in the lot eating some grass when there is a lion nearby…

Just because the deer wants to pretend the lion isnt there is not going to help the deer when the lion attacks it and eats it up. You do not have to believe in the lion to be killed by that lion. The deer can say that the lion is mean and wants to do harm, but I am not going to believe in any lion that is going to kill me. So I am going to ignore that lion. That is what people do with God. They don’t listen to what God is going to do…if God allows tragedy to little children, then I am not going to believe in Him people may say…but that doesn’t make Him not real. If you make stupide decisions like the deer about God then you are going to find yourself in trouble as well. 

We are on the verge in 2024 of whether we are going to survive through this time or are we going to put ourselves into a dark age that is going to last for years until the actual Tribulations and when the antichrist comes…however, it can come very quickly. Revelation can be fulfilled in a few years. People say oh Christ can come tonight, no He cannot because He has given us a message of a timeline about what has to happen Rumors of wars, earthquakes, etc., a lot of things have to happen like a temple in Jerusalem built so don’t believe those that say that isn’t true.

Ezekiel and Revelation make it clear there is going to be a temple that Christ returns to when He invades the earth from outer space…when another invasion of UFO’s that do come that we are not going to be able to stop…there has to be a temple, and a King of the North and the King of the South clearly visible. This is like a Hitler type person in Europe, maybe out of Germany or Italy, and a Hitler type person in the Arab nations, the Muslim nations in No Africa in the middle east under one dictator. These are the two world powers that will fight each other and that have been fighting against each other since the time of Daniel btw, the Crusades were just a continuation from the King of the North and the King of the South. And the third power mentioned is the power of China, but I am not convinced that the 300-million-man army that invaded the Middle East toward the time of Armagedón is not a Japan controlled China. I personally believe that Japan is rearming and is going to be the monster that it was in WWII and that Japan will eventually attack and annihilate the leadership of China, including many of their big cities and many of their people will die; hence Japan conquering China. This is not in the Bible. This is my understanding of what the political world we are in today.  The warlike people in the Orient are not the Chinese people but it is Japan. We may find that is the case and happens now that Japan is rearming. You will see a rise in the militarization of Japan like in the 20s and 30s that led to WWII in the Pacific as you will see the emergence of the King of the North out of Germany or Italy like I said, that led to the European war of World War II. World War III will be unthinkable people. 

2024 will be a very tough year. You have to be careful of your spending, you have to save what you can and think of rainy days that you didn’t have to think of before, because good times may be over, as the song says, “well the good times may be really over” but if we as a nation, this is in the Bible by the way, if we go to God in prayer and fasting and we ask for help, God will forgive our sins and heal our nation and let us continue to live in prosperity for a longer time; we do not have to go through all that I just described. In my opinion, you have to be almost insane to want to go through what our leaders are trying to get us to go through.

A world war in which no one is the victor.

So, it is up to us, and we have more power as a people than just the ballot box by the way…I think this is just as important as my wife and I were talking about this past Sabbath day. Our church is just she and I right now. We were discussing things and we got to the point in 2Chronicles, “if my people who are called by my name humble themselves then I will heal them, their nation”. If we as a people as the middle class, upper class and lower class people unite and pray to God, fast to God, ask for forgiveness, coming to God saying “we have turned against you and we are for you, we are not these people that are running American today that are trying to destroy America, help us please, let this election go well…” then we may find the subject yesterday about answered prayer, we may find the answer to a prayer right now if we want to survive till 2025. 2024 is going to be a tough year for all of us. Hopefully by the end of 2024 of man’s calendar year, not God’s but by December 2024, we will know if 2025 will be a year of misery again or maybe a year of hope.

But you as a people, all of us, you and me and anybody who believes in God, if we collectively (and maybe somebody can put this together) and tells people in unity to pick a day and fast, fast for just 12 hours if you cannot do it for longer and pray to God to heal this nation, it can be done. That prayer can be answered. God does not want us to destroy ourselves. He does love us. He loves this nation. This nation of America is Israel of the Bible. Our foreather is Abraham either by adoption if you are not an Israelite or by blood if you are an Israelite. You are an heir of Abraham’s promise. God wills and wants us to overcome what is going to happen to us if we do not go to him in prayer and fasting…asking for the forgiveness of the sins of this nation. Abortion is a sin. Murder and lawlessness in the street are sins. Turning out back to God and our school and our courts, it is all a sin. We are not following the ten commandments. we are not even trying to. In fact, our minister preaches that Christ did away with the Law when He has done no such thing. He came to MAGNIFY the Law. To make the Law more valuable for you to follow so you can understand that the Law is in spirit now and not just stone. 

So if we could, as a people, before the election of people and pick a day to fast and pray, and you have enough people there, maybe God will change His mind of what is going to happen. He can come and prevent it from happening and change the direction this nation is heading for right now. Remember this, God can change on a dime. He can change what is going on overnight.  There are miraculous prayers. If God was unwilling to destroy Sodom if He could find just 10 righteous people out of a city of maybe a thousand or two thousand, if He could find just 10 righteous people, He would not destroy Sodom. He couldn’t even find 10. Abraham when He talked God down to 10 people thought he had saved Sodom and his nephew Lot when Abraham hadn’t even realized that out of his entire family Lot was the only righteous person, but if God finds enough of us, 20 or 30 million people which is 10 percent of the population of Americans, were to have a day of fasting and prayer maybe Donald Trump could lead this or someone can get this to him…maybe America could have a miraculous 2024 instead of a disastrous 2024.
