(0:00) Hi, it’s Bob Barney again with The Plain Truth Today, brought to you by theplaintruth.com, (0:05) and the subject I want to talk about today, I think everyone is aware of, in my opinion, (0:12) and it’s not something new, but I wanted to talk about the lawlessness that prevails among (0:19) Americans and America and American politics. And, you know, we had a situation where Donald Trump (0:27) was sending the National Guard to basically Democratic states with an exception of Louisiana (0:32) to New Orleans, which is really a Democratic town, but the Republican governor of Louisiana (0:40) did ask Donald Trump to send the National Guard there or to federalize the Louisiana National (0:47) Guard for there. But for the most part, we have seen a situation, I’m afraid, where both parties, (0:54) be it Democrat or Republican, are playing the lawlessness card to their advantage and not (1:01) trying to really help the American people by being honest with them

And I’ll give you an example. On (1:07) the Plain Truth message board the other day, we had a story about a Florida woman, 36 years old, (1:15) that was stabbed to death in the parking lot of a Dollar General. Now, I know many Americans, (1:21) including myself, especially if you live in smaller towns where there’s no Walmart or there’s (1:27) no really good stores, they buy at Dollar General. Dollar General is a Walmart of small-town America. (1:33) In fact, Dollar General has more stores in America than Walmart does because every little (1:38) town in America basically has a Dollar General. And when you go there, you find most of the town (1:43) buys there because, again, like I said, it’s a mini Walmart. And you can find about anything (1:48) you need to find from toilet paper to food stuff to hardware items, you name it, it can be found in (1:57) a Dollar General. It’s like the general store of the old, you know, when you watched A Little (2:03) House on the Prairie or you watch some of these Western towns or some of the 1930 movies where (2:08) little towns, they had a general store. In that general store was a post office and you could buy (2:13) all your food and hardware needs in that one store.

Well, that’s what a Dollar General has (2:19) become and they’re very popular. And so we had a situation here in Florida where a 36-year-old (2:26) woman was stabbed to death last month in an unprovoked attack outside a Dollar General store (2:32) in Florida. The Putnam County Sheriff, and I think that’s near Orlando, I’m not 100% sure where Putnam (2:38) County is in Florida, but the Sheriff’s Office said that Cheyenne Castens was ambushed by Lamar (2:46) Beasley, 54 years old, in the parking lot of the Fruitland Park town in central Florida.(2:52) There’s no indication that she knew or he knew her in any way. We’ve seen this all over again. (2:58) Remember in Charlotte, for example, you had a woman riding on a subway or a bus, I’m sorry, I think it (3:04) was a bus or a subway, I forgot what it was, but you remember she was from Ukraine and she was reading (3:08) her phone, which was probably a no-no, you always should be aware of your surroundings, especially if (3:14) you’re a woman. When you take out your cell phone in public and you start reading it, you are given (3:20) a message, just a little side note here, you’re given a message to a would-be attacker that you’re (3:26) vulnerable, you’re not paying attention. It’s like, I remember when I was even a younger man (3:32) going to New York City, the thing that they told you, and this was back in the 70s when New York was (3:37) a pretty violent place, excuse me, before Giuliani cleaned up that town, but if you were walking down (3:44) the streets of Manhattan and you were looking up at the buildings and wondering how tall those (3:48) buildings are, what you were doing, you were advertising to any hoodlum to steal your pocketbook (3:54) or to rob you because they knew you were a tourist, because New Yorkers don’t look up at their (3:59) buildings, they’re used to them. Well, the same thing, when you’re on your phone and you’re oblivious to (4:05) what’s going on around you, you become a victim very quickly.

Now, I don’t think that was the case (4:09) here, she was getting ready to go in or come out of a Dollar General when this beast, (4:16) that’s what it is, attacked her and stabbed her. The thing I wanted to get here is, you notice it (4:22) was a DeSantos Republican of Florida where this happened. Now, we didn’t see Donald Trump and we (4:28) didn’t see all these Republicans and we didn’t go to Fox News or any of these Republican news stations (4:33) and see about all the violence going on in Florida. Well, I got news for you, Florida has just as much (4:38) violence going on in it as any other state. I agree that a lot of Democratic states and a lot (4:44) of Democratic cities, because of their lawless policies towards criminals, no cash bail and (4:51) things like that, well, I agree that those Democratic states are maybe a little bit more (4:58) vulnerable to anybody going to it than is maybe a Republican stronghold. But at the same time, (5:05) the Republican politicians love to use these stabbings, use these violent crimes in Democrat (5:12) areas as a talking point about how that only happens because of Democrats, because Democrats (5:18) represent lawlessness and Republicans represent the law.And that’s just a plain bold-faced lie, (5:26) because we see these stabbings happen in Florida as well as they happen in New York City or Chicago (5:33) or Minnesota or Louisiana or North Carolina or Virginia, California, you name it. You go to any (5:41) state and you’re going to find this type of random violence against innocent people. (5:47) One of the other things I’m going to say here, not politically correct, so if you’re a politically (5:52) correct person listening to this broadcast, you’re going to be really offended.

But in every (5:57) case that I can think of, and I know there’s exceptions, and if somebody wants to email me (6:02) the exceptions, that’s fine. But in most of these cases, what you see is black males, violent black (6:09) males attacking white women, not black women, but white women, because there is this rage going on (6:17) amongst blacks against whites. I have said this to many people. I haven’t said it on these (6:23) broadcasts, but I’ll say it right now. The racism between blacks against whites is 10 times more (6:32) serious than white racism against blacks, especially when it comes to taking violent actions. (6:39) I know we like to think when we watch the news how it always seems to be that the whites are (6:45) the racists against blacks and not vice versa. Well, black racism against white people is rampant (6:54) in this country today, and it basically goes unreported. Or if it is reported, it’s just (7:00) brushed over really quickly, the race of the person that attacked the white woman. (7:05) But the truth is, which I want to get back to, that’s just a side note. And like I said, (7:10) it’s not politically correct to say this, but there is this black rage against white people (7:16) in this country, and it’s unfounded. It’s unfounded, but it’s also stroked by the Democratic (7:21) Party, because the Democratic Party wants to make black people and minorities in general victims of (7:27) white people, and especially white Republicans. And that’s totally nonsense. I think personally, (7:34) white people for the most part, and there’s racists in everybody, and everybody’s a little (7:39) bit racist, by the way, including myself. But for the most part, white people are more willing (7:45) to forgive and try to move on and follow the example of what Martin Luther King wanted, (7:51) which was you were colorblind. You didn’t judge a person by his color, but you judged a person (7:58) by the quality of their life.

But that is simply not the case today. And my point I’m making here (8:05) is Republicans, for the most part, running for office or in office, they like to show that only (8:12) the Democrats are where the crime is, and only the Democrats are lawless, and only the Democrats (8:17) are easy on people that commit crimes. But what we are seeing here, this trend is happening (8:26) everywhere in America, small town America, as well as big town America. And it’s a problem (8:32) beyond that of Republicanism and Democrats or political affiliations. That’s the plain truth. (8:41) And what we’re seeing is this reverse racism, whites against blacks now turn to blacks against (8:48) whites. That’s the reverse racism I’m talking about. It’s rampant in this country, and it’s (8:54) being stoked by both parties. Both parties are stoking racism. What we are following here is an (9:01) old propaganda trend, and I’m going to get to this after the first break, about divide and conquer, (9:08) and exactly what that means, because that is what’s going on in this country today. Donald (9:13) Trump’s doing it, and the Democrats and their leaders like Newsom and the people that want to (9:18) be Democrat leaders are doing the same exact thing. And I’m going to explain to that what (9:23) divide and conquer means. I pointed out a long time ago, I took many courses in college. (9:29) My major was political science, but I had courses on propaganda. To this day, whenever I see (9:36) propaganda being used on me by a commercial or by politicians or by some commentator, (9:42) I instantly turn off, because I understand what propagandists do in order to try to get people (9:49) to see things their way, even though it’s all nonsense.

I’ll be right back. Hi, Bob Barney (9:56) for the Plain Truth today, the place to go to to find out what’s going on in today’s news, (10:01) what it means for you and your family, your future, and what you can do about it, and what God (10:07) says about it in the pages of the Bible. The Bible is the place to go to find out what’s happening (10:13) today. The Bible is as relevant today as it was 3,000 years ago, 2,000 years ago, or even (10:20) 500 years ago. That’s theplaintruth.com. Go there every day. Thank you.(10:28) When I took some of my college courses in political propaganda, we studied movies, (10:33) and we studied different leaders of the past that promoted propaganda in order to fulfill their (10:40) needs of controlling the people’s minds. Adolf Hitler was really a master at the term divide (10:49) and conquer. And what that simply means is you spread propaganda meant to divide people among (10:56) themselves. You divide whites from blacks, women from men, poor from rich. It goes on and on. You (11:02) take any group of people, and you can find, if you’re looking to cause trouble, you can find (11:10) subtle differences amongst those people that you can use a divide-and-conquer mentality.

(11:15) You take a group of people, they may be all Italian-Americans, and all of a sudden you start (11:20) talking about certain things amongst that group, and then some people in that group will go one (11:25) place, and the other people in that group will go another place. And if you’re an evil propagandist, (11:30) you will use that division in order to divide the group even further, and then you gain power. (11:37) And that is what we’re seeing today. We’re seeing it with Republicans. We’re seeing what Donald (11:41) Trump is doing. We’re also seeing it even more so in the past, what Obama did, what Biden did, (11:47) and all the Democrats as well. The Democrat Party has been, in my lifespan, the greatest (11:55) propagandist in the world when it comes to divide and conquer. They simply know how to (12:02) divide people, even like-minded people, into groups, and then they can cause division. (12:07) That is why you see rich against poor, you see black against white, you see union workers against (12:15) non-union workers, you see states against other states. This is all a political propaganda tool (12:22) that I want to make my audience here aware of, because this is what people do, politicians, (12:29) leaders, business people even, this is what they do in order to gain power over you and over (12:37) anyone that they want to rule over, conquer, defeat, control. That’s what divide and conquer (12:46) is all about. And like I said, divide and conquer is a political tool that has been used throughout (12:51) history, and certain people, Stalin, for example, Adolf Hitler was the greatest that I can think of, (12:58) that used propaganda in order to divide people and get people willing to fight and kill (13:03) other people.

The Germans, for example, coming out of World War I, a war they lost, (13:09) and they were humiliated by the Allies, wrongfully so, was their Republic, their tiny (13:16) Republic, was cast into a depression long before the actual worldwide collapse happened, and the (13:23) Germans in the 1920s, when the rest of the world was living pretty good, were in very bad shape (13:31) economically. I know we’ve all seen the reports or the history reports or newscasts or even read (13:38) about where it took a wheelbarrow worth of douche marks to go to a store to buy groceries because (13:44) the inflation was so bad, and that was before the great economic crash of 1929 in America and (13:50) throughout the world. This happened in the early 1920s, when the rest of the world was having the (13:55) great economy during the 1920s until the great crash. Germany, right from the get-go of the 1920s, (14:03) was in a serious economic problem, and the people were absolutely starving. They didn’t have the (14:10) money to buy food. They didn’t have the money. Inflation just ate away everything, and it was (14:15) caused by the conditions that they had to agree to when they surrendered after World War I. Well, (14:22) two things happened here amongst the Germans. First of all, the bitterness against the Allies, (14:29) which was easily going to be manipulated by Adolf Hitler and the Nazis to get the German people (14:36) ready to fight the West, but there was another group that they could blame everything on, (14:42) and that was Jewish business people and Jewish people in general. All of the economic woes (14:47) was blamed on two groups.

The West, America, England, and France, number one, and number two, (14:54) inside of Germany, were Jewish people, Jewish business people, that the German propagandist (15:01) convinced the people through divide and conquer to see the Jewish people in Germany as not German, (15:08) but a separate people who were against Germans, and they caused, along with the West, (15:15) they caused this economic crash, and Adolf Hitler throughout the 1930s convinced the German people (15:22) that the Jews were as much of an enemy as were the Allies after World War I, and he used this (15:30) divide and conquer, and you can study this, and I always recommend watching the Why We Fight (15:36) series by Frank Capra, a series of movies that was created by our military to only show to the (15:44) troops why they were fighting, and it was propaganda on our part, and Frank Capra always said (15:50) the best propaganda is when you can tell the truth, and still the truth will actually be the (15:57) best propaganda because it’s not a lie. Well, the Germans used nothing but lies in order to divide (16:03) and conquer their people, and what ended up happening, of course, is World War II. World (16:09) War II was a direct result of the end of World War I and what happened to Germany in the world (16:18) because of it, and what we saw with the German propaganda of the Nazis we’re seeing, in my opinion, (16:25) today. We all hear the examples that Democrats use it all the time, well, Trump is being like (16:31) Adolf Hitler or like Joseph Stalin, and of course that’s all nonsense. Trump maybe would like to be (16:38) a dictator, or sometimes I think he wants to be a Caesar and not a Hitler, but we’ll just go on (16:44) from there, but my point is what they’re doing is practicing divide and conquer to try to get the (16:49) American people against the Republican Party, especially the mega-Republican Party that they (16:55) are blaming everything on. They forget, for example, when they’re talking about high food prices, (17:01) well, it was Joe Biden and his administration that caused these high food prices in the beginning.

(17:08) Donald Trump is not doing well, especially with his tariffs keeping prices down. (17:12) We should be in a deflationary time right now if Donald Trump was doing right and we didn’t have (17:18) tariffs and we didn’t have some of the things that’s going on that he himself is causing, (17:23) but the truth is the Democrats right now are just ignoring the fact that we had about a 35, (17:30) I don’t care what you want to hear, what kind of statistics you’re being fed by the news media, (17:36) we had an effectual 30 to 35% inflation from 2021 right up until 2024 election, (17:44) and since then we’ve had only about a 3% inflation rate versus that maybe I think actually our true (17:51) inflation if you count car insurance, home insurance, and home prices and stuff like that. (17:57) I think even right now in Trump’s first year, the true inflation rate is about 10.5%, (18:03) but that’s still a lot lower than the 35% that you really saw in the last four years before him.(18:10) But that being said, we shouldn’t really have, if we had good policies right now, (18:15) we really shouldn’t have inflation at all. We should have deflation. We should be in (18:20) several years of a deflated economy, which is not necessarily bad.

I know a lot of economists (18:27) try to say that deflation is as evil as inflation, but that’s not true. When prices go down, (18:34) it does not help the rich people. We’ve talked about that many times before, (18:38) but it does help the poor people when their prices go down. When gasoline would fall from (18:44) $3 where it is about today, and if it would fall to about $1.97 or $1.79 as Donald Trump was able (18:52) to do in his first administration, well, everybody has more money to spend. And what do they do with (18:57) their money? Do they invest it in a bank or do their 401ks? No. The American people live paycheck (19:03) to paycheck. So if they have a little bit more in their paycheck because they’re not paying for home (19:07) heating fuel outrageously or gasoline or other energy costs, they go to restaurants, they buy (19:14) more at Walmart or Dollar General. They do more with that money. They should be saving it, but they (19:22) don’t. They spend it. We have a consumer economy now in America, not necessarily the right way to (19:28) go, but that gives people more to spend and it stimulates the economy. So deflation to a small (19:35) degree, going down in prices for the poor people is actually very good for the poor and the middle (19:42) class.

Now, politicians do not like deflation because secretly, and I don’t care if they’re a (19:48) Republican or Democrat, they want inflation because all rich people, we talked about this before, (19:55) all rich people survive off inflation because they don’t really make anything with their hands (20:01) like an electrician or a plumber or a machinist. They invest in commodities, stocks, gold, silver, (20:11) other commodities that they depend on inflation to make that go up. And they don’t care the price (20:17) of gas and the price of food because they have so much money. That little bit of inflation really (20:22) doesn’t hurt them at all. But deflation is where we should have been this last year and not a 3% (20:29) inflation, which I think is more like a 10% inflation. So what we see here is the Republicans (20:35) now are trying to blame everything on the Biden administration, not what they’re doing today.(20:41) And the Biden people and the Democrats in general are blaming everything going on today like nothing (20:46) happened from 21 to 24, which put us in the state we’re in. And both parties is leading us into (20:53) financial ruin. We’re going, our debt is getting worse. Our debt is not going to get better under (20:57) Donald Trump and under the Republicans. Every time the Republicans have taken control, they did this (21:02) in 2004 with the second Bush. I always call them King George the second.

They took control of the (21:08) Senate and the house in 2006, or I’m sorry, in 2004. And what did they do? They spent us into (21:15) oblivion. They gave tax breaks to stupid things like buying SUVs. You got a tax break. The more (21:21) you spent, you got tax breaks. And what that caused was the Democrats took over and then they (21:26) went the other way and our economy crashed. And we had this great 2008, 2009 crash, which (21:34) trillions of dollars was confiscated from the middle-class and the poor people. And it went (21:40) into the hands of the rich. And that’s what really happened. And so both parties are really beholden (21:45) to rich people and not to the majority of the Americans, that 80% out there who really need (21:51) lower prices. And so what they use is divide and conquer to prove themselves that they’re the right (21:58) and the enemy is the other side. And that has to end or America is lost. I’m afraid, and I’ve said (22:05) this before, that America is lost and I don’t see us coming out of this. I really wish we could come (22:11) out of this. If you have children and grandchildren and even great grandchildren, of course, you don’t (22:16) want them to go through what they’re going to go through, but you just can’t keep spending and (22:21) blaming the other side for all the problems using political propaganda tools in order to keep doing (22:27) it and keep the country in debt and in ruination, which is going to be the result. And I’ll give you (22:35) an example after this brief timeout. The Plain Truth today is a broadcast on theplaintruth.com (22:43) to go to, to find out what’s happening. We give other points of view, not just my own.

That’s (22:48) three times a day, Monday through Friday and twice on Saturday and once on Sunday. That’s (22:53) The Plain Truth today and you get there from theplaintruth.com. Thank you for listening. (22:59) Well, we’re back and I wanted to get into this idea of divide and conquer and an example that (23:05) I want to give you. We’ve probably had no president in American history, and I’m sure I’m over (23:11) exaggerating here, or I’m sure there are, worse than Barack Obama when it came to racism and (23:19) dividing the people based on race. Obama saw everything in black and white causing the (23:24) American division that we are still fighting with today, causing this total racism of against black (23:33) on white. And this is, again, is the principle of divide and conquer that Obama did and the Democrats (23:40) under him did and brought us to a very poor situation today. Now we are under the Trump reign (23:48) and Donald Trump is actually doing a Democrat policy against the Democrats. He’s actually (23:54) acting like a Democrat by getting the mega Americans to falsely believe in many things (24:01) going on that simply is not. If you go through Facebook and I, I go through Facebook and I (24:07) laugh at all of the stories that I see that are absolutely fake news.

And unfortunately, (24:13) many of the news sites, and I’m talking about top news sites, mainly the conservative news sites (24:18) right now that, that go with stories that are absolutely simply not true. Here’s an example. (24:26) You go to Facebook and it says, gas prices, highest in states with Democratic governors, (24:31) lowest in Republican led states. Well, somewhat true, but again, they’re showing a billboard here, (24:38) a four 54 in California and two 42 regular price in what looks to be Virginia. Well, (24:47) I got news for you. Virginia does not have anywhere where gas is $2 and 42 cents.(24:52) I saw another Facebook program is look what Donald Trump is doing for you. And it shows a price (24:58) in Chattanooga, Tennessee at a gas station and gas is $2 and 12 cents a gallon. Well, (25:05) want to know what that photo was really from 2018 and not from 2025 yet. That’s the propaganda (25:14) they’re using to convince people, even though they haven’t in your state and in your town, (25:19) but everywhere else where Donald Trump is getting his way, gas is only $2 and 12 cents. (25:25) I actually heard on Fox business the other day, and it was funny about how the national average (25:30) for gas is $3 and 1 cent. And the commentator who should know better said, you know, I think that (25:40) this is what she said.I think that if we took out California, the average gas price in the (25:45) United States would probably be around $2 and 50 cents. Now that’s pure nonsense. That’s pure (25:51) propaganda.

Because if you took out California, the price is still not going to be around $2 (25:57) and 50 cents because the lowest price of gas anywhere right now is $2 and 62 cents. (26:03) So there’s no way on average, you’re going to have a two 50. This is lying with statistics, (26:09) what propagandists do to divide and conquer. And this is the idea of stories going on Instagram, (26:16) Facebook, or your evening news that are absolute lies in order to promote either a Democrat or a (26:24) Republican. And the truth is the victim here because there is no truth to the news you’re (26:31) watching today. You go to a Fox news or you go to MSNBC, I guess they call it MSNOW or whatever (26:39) they call it today, the old MSNBC. And you will see a story about Donald Trump that is totally (26:45) wrong when it’s MSNBC and you’ll see a story about Democrats that are totally wrong when it’s Fox (26:52) news. But neither side, nowhere in the news today, other than I think the plaintruth.com, (26:59) absolutely perfectly, are you finding the truth? Both sides are just giving statistics, (27:08) propaganda, divide and conquer mentality in order to whip up the people against the other side. (27:15) I heard a commentator say, which I agree with, that you have today amongst politicians, (27:22) they are not trying to win over the other side anymore like it used to be 40 years ago.(27:29) You have your base and all you want to do is throw red meat to your base and continue to divide your (27:36) base from the other people who vote Democrat. And hopefully your side will grow in numbers that you (27:41) can win and you never have to convince the other side to vote for you. And so what we have is two (27:47) parties that are only playing to their base. No one is trying to play to the American people’s (27:55) benefit. That’s the commentary I have for today. And it’s something I think everybody should be (28:02) aware of.Do a little bit of research on propaganda, on the term divide and conquer, (28:07) and you will see what’s happening today in American politics. And it is divisive. And the result is all (28:15) of this violence we’re seeing in every single state, in every single town in America.

And it’s (28:22) going to continue and it’s going to get worse until we go into a civil war. And a civil war is (28:28) going to be caused by this divide and conquer policies. If you go back to the 1850s in the (28:35) United States of America, there was lying newspapers in the south and lying newspapers (28:42) in the north, which divided the American people over policies between the southern states and the (28:48) northern states. Many of those policies were made up. People were being propagandized one way or (28:57) the other, depending on where they lived. And a civil war was the result of what newspapers did.(29:04) Don’t trust your news organizations. They have agendas. The news is not what’s good for you.(29:10) They never have been. There’s a reason yellow journalism is called yellow journalism. Look that (29:15) up.It’s called William Randolph Hearst. And that was in the 1890s. He caused a war.He caused the (29:20) Spanish-American War on a lie. It’s always been that way, but it’s worse today than ever. And (29:26) civil war could be the result.

Well, that’s all I got time for today. This is Bob Barney for The (29:31) Plain Truth today, brought to you by ThePlainTruth.com. Thank you for listening, and we’ll (29:35) be back again tomorrow with some more current affairs and what it means for you and your family. (29:40)
