 Friday wrap up for August 7, 2026 with Bob Barney

And the big stories this week we’re going to go over,and if we have time we’ll go over again what’s going to play for tomorrow’s Sabbath day. Saturday is the Sabbath, and 7-11 a.m. we always have a Sabbath-type programming, and of course in the evening we have an entertainment show.But the story that I’m going to start out with, because I think it’s a story that maybe you haven’t heard every angle, but yesterday Fossey was held in contempt by the Senate Judiciary Committee. It was basically a not bipartisan vote. It was a very partisan vote.The Republicans voted yay, and the Democrats uniformly voted nay, which we could explain. And we’re going to get into a little bit the legal reason first before I give you my take, which I don’t think you probably heard before. Here is the legal take of what happened and why it happened by a lawyer.Dr. Fauci, as we all know, now invoking the Fifth Amendment when he went before the committee. Kind of walk us through what happened and why he chose to go that route. Well, fireworks on Capitol Hill, the long-awaited hearing on Dr. Fauci.Rand Paul has said repeatedly he wanted to get him under oath and he wanted to put him behind bars, but Fauci’s legal team had other things in mind. He invoked his Fifth Amendment right,which we all have, against self-incrimination 111 times, even when Senator Halsey asked Dr. Fauci, what color is your tie? Yeah, he said he was not going to go there. He invoked the Fifth.We even heard from the President. The President has been under this situation before and saidsimply he did what his lawyer told him to do. Yeah, Donald Trump said basically, President Trump,no mystery, why did Fauci take the Fifth? Because his lawyers told him to do it.He goes, I’ve been there. When you have dishonest prosecutors, you got politicians, you got fake news. Actually, Donald Trump in recent depositions eclipsed Fauci by taking the Fifth Amendmentover 440 times.But, you know, very interesting. So, you know, the Fifth Amendment goes back to the 17th century. And basically, we do not have to incriminate ourselves.The government, if you’re going to be prosecuted, has to prove each and every element of a crime beyond a reasonable doubt. But in this case, Fauci’s lawyers were very clear. They said that his granting, receiving pardon for President Biden did not protect him against a future stateprosecution.And that’s why, because there are three reasons, three situations where you cannot plead the Fifth. And that’s one. That’s true.If you’re under a pardon or if you’re pardoned, but you just said, or circumstances change. If you’re in the middle of a trial or hearing, and you take the Fifth, prosecutors can say, we hereby grant you immunity. If you are granted immunity, then you cannot invoke the Fifth Amendment.Also, Bo, if you are convicted, you absolutely lose your right against self-incrimination as in all your other constitutional rights. But the other thing that Fauci’s legal team was afraid of, and that is that he was walking into a perjury trap. And even President Trump said, hey, you got to be careful, because if you said it was raining the day you asked me this question, and it turned out tobe sunny, they’re going to try to put me in jail.Fauci, kind of the same way. But if Rand Paul would have come in a little more calculated, instead of using a sledgehammer and a chainsaw, maybe a scalpel and ask some questions leading up to things that we all want to know. What was the origins of COVID? Did it come from China? Did we have to wear the mask for two years? But you know what it turned into? Turned into Dr. Fauci invoking the Fifth Amendment and a circus on Capitol Hill.And unfortunately, Beau, the questions remain unanswered. All right. And we’re going to stopright there.Greg, as always, thanks for shedding some light on some of this work. So that was the legal take there. And it was a not, like I said, it wasn’t a bipartisan thing.There is politics involved here. Dr. Fauci is, in my opinion, a mass murderer. But I’m going to giveyou a position here that I don’t think you’re going to hear anywhere else, because I think, and we’re going to find out what happens.I don’t believe the Justice Department is going to prosecute this complaint by Rand Paul and the Senate Republicans. And I’ll tell you my take on this. I think it’s pretty naive if you really understand the United States’ deep state and you understand the CIA, which I believe personally was behind the assassination of John F. Kennedy, was behind the removal of Richard Nixon, was probably a little bit behind Iran-Contra trying to get rid of Ronald Reagan.And definitely the deep state was trying to remove Trump from running for president in 2020 by all kinds of lawfare, illegal, unconstitutional lawfare arguments and prosecutions against Donald Trump. But here’s the thing that I think that all the news is missing. Do you think that Dr. Fauci by himself had the ability to take a mass weapon? And COVID-19 was developed by the military.Was it the Israeli military? Was it the Canadian military? Or was it the United States military at Fort Detrick? It’s one of the three, or maybe all three in collusion. But it was invented in the Western world. It was not something that the Chinese military came up with.And I got news for you. That is really what you’re being led to believe these last six years. These last six years, you’ve been led to believe this was a Chinese thing to get to America.What I guess most people didn’t realize that listened to that propaganda is 10 times, and maybe even more, Chinese people died from COVID than did Americans. Think about that for a minute. If that was a Chinese plot, they really messed that one up.But why did Dr. Fauci bring this gain-of-function research to China and to a lab that was known to have all kinds of leaks of safety measures and viruses escape that lab quite often, as reported said? Well, I believe, and this is my idea here, I’m going to get to it right now. My idea is that Dr. Fauci was just a tool, a very important tool, but just one of many actors of transplanting COVID-19 virus into China in an attempt to get into the public and do mass harm. Because back then, if you go back to 2018, Donald Trump had started his tariffs against China, which I agreed with, even though all my raw materials come from China.But China was playing a nasty game, and Donald Trump was right to do what he did. But there was a war going on, a silent war going on between the Chinese leadership and the deep state of the United States. Was Donald Trump involved with this COVID thing? I don’t know.I’ll tell you how you’re going to find out when I wrap this thing up, if Donald Trump was involved or not. But my belief is this was a CIA mission. They went to Dr. Fauci, who was willing to do this, thinking he’s a or whatever you want to do, but he’s part of the deep state, you want to believe that or not.They brought the COVID virus into the Chinese lab in Wuhan, knowing that it would escape andknowing that it would target many Chinese people, and millions of them died because of it. Like I said, do you remember the famous thing in Mar-a-Lago, for example, when President Trump decided to bomb Syria? And what did he do? He went up to Xi Jinping at the dinner at Mar-a-Lago, and he whispered in his ear, we’re bombing Syria right now. And you could see the video of Xi Jinping looking kind of serious about listening to that.He understands English, by the way. And so Donald Trump and Xi Jinping were in this verbal war with tariffs and making China the enemy. I know many people disagree with me, but China is not the enemy of the future.It’s just not. Maybe China is that 200 million man army, but I think it’ll be controlled by Japan. It won’t be controlled by the communist Chinese.They do not have the ability to make a strong military. They don’t have the ability to do anything really right. The Japanese do, however.So do the Germans, so do the Jews, and so do the Americans. But I think that it was a deep stateplot. And if Donald Trump was behind it, you will see him, like a little bit you saw him today, try to poo-poo the idea that it was wrong for him to take the Fifth Amendment.And because this is the conclusion. I got a little bit of time to wrap this up for this first segment. The conclusion is, if this is a deep state ploy, if this was the CIA, if the leader of the CIA, maybe the FBI, maybe even the president or at least the defense secretary at the time was involved in this plan, and Dr. Fossey is indicted, he’s going to start ratting everybody out.And I think if the American people ever thought we were the people that caused COVID, that killed all these people in America and worldwide, and that we did this because we were at some kind of silent war with China, I’ll tell you right now, I think that the entire faith in this government would sink to an all-time low, and I don’t think it would recover. And you would see, this November especially, you would see the communists take control of everywhere they’re running. You would see the Americans absolutely disgusted with our government.So I think this prosecution is going absolutely nowhere. And we will find out if this prosecution goes somewhere. If it does, I am wrong.Or if it does, and it purposely messed up and it don’t go anywhere, maybe I’m not wrong. I do believe this was a deep state, United States CIA action against China and against our perceived enemies. And I believe a little bit of it backfired when it made it to America.And I don’t think that was really intended to get back here, but it did. But it was intended to do what it did to China. It absolutely shut China down for almost two years.People were dying. People were being imprisoned. People were put in internment camps if they thought they were sick.They went through bloody hell in China, much more than America did. Just remember that. And so, like I said, time will tell.And I think the plain truth will always rule out at the end of the day. But I think Americans are going to be very surprised if this does get out and if he’s prosecuted and starts naming names of people who were involved. You know, we got a lot of his records that were on government computers.But do we have all of his records maybe that he kept and held privately in order as a safety measure to keep him from being prosecuted or executed or assassinated? And because sometimes the government gets rid of those people who could do them harm. It’s the same reason, by the way, I said Hillary Clinton, under the first Trump administration, when everybody was saying that he was going to go after her and indict her, I said it was never going to happen. And the reason for that is the people she would take down with her in both parties would destroy this nation.Same thing with Jeffrey Epstein. There’s a reason that Jeffrey Epstein is being covered up. I do not believe that Donald Trump, you know, was an Epstein client and he was having sex with all these young girls.Maybe, but I don’t believe that’s the case. What I do think is the case, again, Jeffrey Epstein was a double agent for the United States and for Saudi Arabia, but really working for the United States,and he was compromising the rulers of Saudi Arabia in a way that if it got out today, they would be overthrown by the Islamic terrorists. They would overthrow their government.They would execute them all. We’d have another Iran with an Islamic republic in Saudi Arabia. And Epstein, who also had a Saudi Arabian passport, was a plant by our CIA to get these young girls.It’s an awful story, if I am right, to get these young girls going to Saudi Arabia where, you know, blonde girls in Saudi Arabia are worth millions of dollars. They may be worth more than drugs. And compromising taped positions in ways that would be very embarrassing to the Saudi rulership or leadership family.And it would explain, by the way, why they are so radically in support of America in these last six years, signed the Abraham Accords, did all kinds of things that you wouldn’t think could happen 25 years ago. And our CIA does things around the world that would make most Americans shocked if they ever learned the plain truth of the matter. I ran way over time for this segment, but I think it’s the most important hidden story of the week, and it is a hidden story, and I don’t think you’re going to hear that point of view anywhere else on any network, TV, radio show, or podcast, or even some blog somewhere.I don’t think anybody is even thinking that Dr. Fossey was maybe just part of a mass conspiracy to attack China. I was going to talk seven minutes about it, but I’m out of time.We’re going to talk two minutes about it, and that is simply the so-called new peace deal going on in Iran. Again, I’ve said this from day one, and I’ve said it ten years ago when there was other peace deals. Whenever you hear there’s going to be peace in the Middle East, God is not a liar, and God said there’s never going to be peace in the Middle East, prepare for war, because that means war is coming, and there is no peace treaty coming.The Iranian people have really won this war, the Iranian regime, not the people, they’re the big losers, along with the American people fronting this with money. We’ve run out of missiles. That really broke yesterday.Donald Trump somewhat had to admit it. There was a report we have on the Plain Truth Message Board where Trump absolutely got all over Pete Hegsa, which he should have, about really not telling him that all the missiles were basically used up, and I don’t think Donald Trump knew it. I think to this day, I think a lot of people, including the people in his cabinet, hide from Donald Trump the plain truth of what’s going on, and sometimes he’s the last to learn something, and that’s kind of dangerous, but that’s all I’m going to say about that.I don’t think we got a peace coming, no matter what comes out. Friday, today, you know, always Friday, Donald Trump puts out something to manipulate the stock market, or the oil market, or the gold market, or something that’s being invested by his family, that’s my opinion, but don’t think there’s peace coming real soon. The peace that will end up coming is a total military defeat for the United States, and we’re going to be like Russia with Ukraine.We’re going to have to limp home eventually, and just give up on trying to do anything to Iran. That’s my opinion, but we’ll move on to the next subject, which is, and that story is really what came out this morning when the jobs report came out. As I predicted in a Friday wrap up just a month ago, when I keep saying this is not the greatest economy ever, as Donald Trump tries to keep telling everybody, it’s not even a good economy.This is a perfect example of a 1900s economy, an 1890 to a 1900 economy that Teddy Roosevelt had to fix, where the rich had all the money, and only a few people are rich today, and the middle class was absolutely under the thumb of poverty, and that is what’s happening today. And I said last month, when they said there was 70,000 new jobs, I said it was going to be revised down, and it was revised down. So for the last two months now, including last month, all 70,000 jobs turned out to be a negative 23,000 jobs.They lie, and once in a while they have to come clean, and this month they had to come clean andadmit that we have two months of job losses. Just to put this in context, and I hate to bring this up to a lot of my friends out there, because I am not a Joe Biden fan, but Joe Biden averaged in thelast two years of his administration 175,000 new jobs per month. Now to dig down deeper into that, about 120 of those 175,000 jobs were that of illegal aliens, according to the reports I read at the time, but there were still a good 50,000 jobs a month with American citizens, and there was actually about 8,000 to 12,000 manufacturing jobs added each month under the last year of JoeBiden.And so far, under the first year and a half under Donald Trump, there has been less than 60,000 manufacturing jobs made, and that could actually be wrong numbers itself, according to what I read online. But let’s listen to the breaking news here on TV this morning. U.S. employers unexpectedly, and I hate unexpectedly, I love the way they try to spin this bad news.No one can say, no one can say that Donald Trump is not getting great press. Donald Trump is getting the press that Democrats wish they could have, to be pity sakes. I mean, it’s true.The economy sucks. Inflation is rampant. And yet every month you listen to these, every day you listen to these economic shows, even the liberal ones, and they try to tell you there’s nothing wrong with the economy.Economy’s going great. Buy stocks, keep buying stocks. You think they’re making money selling stocks, but listen to this unexpected, which wasn’t for me, job loss.Is this something you can ignore, or is there some information that’s worth paying attention to? Yeah, I think the headline is a bit confusing because you’ve got the drop in unemployment rate on a very weak headline and a weak revisions. I’d be hesitant to just write this report off because I think that the revisions in the headline number are pointing to weakness, while the drop in the unemployment rate is really about the supply side and the drop in the participation rate. So I think you can have those two things happening at the same time.And that’s how you square the message there. And I wouldn’t completely ignore it. And the markets are not completely ignoring it because you’re seeing a big hike probability come out with the front rallying here.And I think that makes a lot of sense. Yeah, it was more than 50 percent chance that there was going to be a September rate hike, and I’m looking at less than a 40 percent chance currently being baked into Fed funds futures. Jeff, what’s your understanding of what the tell is here for inflation? How much does it matter to have inflation coming from wages versus the supply side when it comes to whether the Fed will hike and how they view the state of the economy? Yeah, well, you know, it’s both.And we’ve had a serial set of supply side shocks since Covid. And that’s really been what’s been holding up inflation. But the labor market is relevant as well.And so the wages picture here is a little bit positive. What’s really holding up inflation is only two things. Again, you just heard a so-called expert not even aware of what the tariffs have done.You have a 25, 35, even a 12 percent now. Now there is a 12 percent tariff basically on everything you buy, because I don’t care if it’s made in America or made overseas. The materials that made that product you’re buying, even if it’s made in America, like my products, I’m paying a tariff and it’s in my cost.I had a 18 percent price increase last year. I didn’t want to have to have an 18 percent price increase and it’s hurt our sales. But that’s what happens when I was faced with sometimes upwards to a 100 percent tariff.I lost $125,000 last year off the bottom line because of tariffs. They were found to be illegal. I have yet got my money back.The government is not giving me my money back, but they gave it to FedEx. They gave it to UPS.They gave it to Intel.They gave it to Amazon. They gave it to Walmart. But I can’t get my money back.$125,000, you think that could have, that would be two employees salaries I could hire. That’s the problem why businesses are not hiring, my friends. They’re not hiring because they’re paying so much extra for tariffs.And number two, this stupid war that we should have never gotten into is drive the cost of fuel up and that drives the cost of transportation up. Let me give you one example. Sending eight pallets of my paint, which is hazmat, to my warehouse in Florida is $2,700.The actual freight charge was $1,200. The freight fuel surcharge, the fuel surcharge was $1,400. More than half the price of the total shipping bill was the extra fuel price they added on because of the war.Think about that. Does that not reflect in what you buy at a store? It surely does. And that has to do with the war.That is why we have inflation. It has nothing to do with COVID six years later. It has to do with stupid communist-like policies that this government is following.And we’re spending ourselves into oblivion. Wait till the stock market crashes. Wait till it goes down 30, 40, 50 percent and everyone loses everything.You will see a rebellion in this country like you have never seen before. I’m going to finish this andI’ll finish the program. I think that’s contributing.Let me be more clear here. So you’ve had a little bit of disappointment in terms of the wage figure in the payroll report today. That features into longer run services inflation.And that’s helpful with regards to the expectation on the inflation front. And as you were talking about in the earlier segment with Stephanie, it’s really the inflation reports and the inflation picture that’s in the driver’s seat for the FOMC. But the read through from the payroll report from the wages is helpful with regards to seeing some easing there.And I think that’s the kind of takeaway into next week. It’s a little bit of BS at the end of there. We are in trouble.This economy is in deep trouble. And I don’t care how anybody wants to spin it. You can spit manure any way you want to spit manure, but it’s still manure.And that’s the simple, plain truth. Well, that’s the wrap up for today or this week, I should say. And I want to just get into tomorrow’s program.Remember, and I’m going to say this every week until everybody gets nauseous about it, but tomorrow is the Sabbath day. I don’t care what your pastor says or your priest or your minister says, but there is only one Sabbath day. God created the Sabbath day in the creation of the first week, the seventh day of the week, which is what we call Saturday, is the Sabbath day.It was not made for the Jews. The Jews didn’t come for another 2,500 years after God created the Sabbath day. It has nothing to do with the Jewish people.It has nothing actually to do with the nation of Israel. Adam and Eve followed the Sabbath day, and they’re the parents of every single person alive today. The Sabbath day is for every single person alive today if you’re going to follow the Ten Commandments.You know, Republicans want to put the Ten Commandments in churches, in schools. No, not in churches. They don’t want them in churches because their churches don’t follow the Ten Commandments.They want them in schools. They want them in government buildings. They want to shove them down your throat, but they themselves don’t want to have you follow them when it comes to the Sabbath day, which is a marked command by God to identify that you are God’s people.If you don’t follow the Sabbath day, God does not consider you his people. You can find that in the Bible. Look for it.Search it. You’ll find what I’m saying is true. But tomorrow is the Sabbath day, and tomorrow’s 7 11 a.m. show is Germany, the modern Assyria.I’ve been talking about this forever on these podcasts, but there’s a nice little video. I forgot which organization put this one up, but it does accurately show you that the modern day German nation is really the same people that migrated some 3,000 years ago now into Germany from Assyria. They had captured the northern tribes of Israel.United States, America, England, Denmark are all part of that, and they took them into Assyria, which is modern day Iraq, and then the Babylonians kicked them out of the area. They went through the Caucasus Mountains, where you get the name Caucasian, and they went through the Danube River, River Dan, and all the way into Germany, and that is where the Assyrian people landed. The people of the Bible, excuse me, that is predicted to be the King of the North, basically, and the King and the Antichrist to come.That’s modern day Germany. You got to know this kind of stuff, and tomorrow’s Sabbath show, 7 11 a.m., is going to go into that in detail. A half-hour show, and I think you’ll find it riveting if you really care about history, but if you really care about what God is doing.The 7 11 p.m. show, remember we do not have a noon show on Saturdays. The p.m. show is a great long movie again. It’s about an hour and 25 minutes, I think.It’s Rod Serling’s 1966 movie, Doomsday Flight, and it is an intriguing movie because it is the catalyst for some of the most famous hijackings that ever occurred afterwards, including one that was solved in the same way that Rod Serling’s movie ended. A man put a bomb on an airplane, and it said, if you fly below 5,000 feet, it’s gonna blow up, and so how did they get that airplane down without that bomb blowing up? Well, Denver, Colorado has something to do with it, Stapleton Airport, and that happened in real life. There’s a little foreword to it, if you read it tomorrow, when it comes live at 7 11 p.m., but it’s a great movie.I recommend you watching it if you can.
