“Let’s put Christ back into Christmas”, that’s the slogan you keep hearing, but the plain truth is He was never in Christmas! This is something that can be proven in your Bible that not only are we not supposed to celebrate Christmas, but we are also not to put Jesus inside of it.
Hi, this is Bob Barney, and this podcast is coming to you on the day everyone calls Christmas eve, and tomorrow, we will play some other broadcasts and videos on just what is Christmas, where it came from, and the surprising fact that Christmas really has nothing to do with Jesus Christ. By the way, there was no Christmastime for the first 300 years of the Christian Church, no one celebrated His birth however they did celebrate the death of Christ. To also be frank about it, Christ wasn’t born on December 25 nor anywhere near that date. Shepherds were not in the field at that time of year and most evidence points that Christ was born during either the feast of Tabernacles or The Day of Atonement which falls in the September, October timeframe.
So, what does Christ have to do with Christmas? Absolutely nothing. You heard that right.
If you watch some of our broadcasts tonight and tomorrow, we will be putting up more info on this topic and if you are really interested in The Plain Truth and not being lied to, like when you were brought up and you were lied to about Santa Claus and found out that he isn’t real…well, keep in mind that it is just as fictitious to be taught that Christ is in Christmas. Santa Claus has way more to do with Christmas then Jesus ever will. You will see that as you spend time watching the content we are sharing.
I hate to break the cheery notion that there is nothing wrong with celebrating Christmas and keeping Christ attached to it, but it is in fact a pagan worshipping holiday from a thousand years before Christ walked this earth…this is one of the hard facts that I had to come to learn back in 1976 when I realized and became to understand (by it being proven) that Christmas was a Roman, Greek and Egyptian pagan holiday for their gods. It had NOTHING to do with the real God or Jesus Christ and had nothing to do with the message and the gospel that Jesus brought. Christmas is all about getting presents, it isn’t about giving…. yeah, you give gifts to others, however, people are really into it as far as what they are going to get.
Did you know there is a phrase in the bible that talks about people going into the forest and cutting a tree down, fastening it down with nuts and bolts and decking it with silver and gold?? Did you know that? Doesn’t that sound like a Christmas tree to you? Well, you will find out more when you read more into that verse that God is not very happy with those people. He calls them pagan. He calls them blasphemous. He calls them sinners. That is what Christmas is about. I am sorry.
This is a time of the year that the most suicides happen, the depression statistics soar, people also get into the most debt this time of year…. It’s just not what people make it out to be. I am sorry to break the bad news to those who want to know the truth and even to those who do not. It just like the bad news was broken to us just when we found out Santa Claus wasn’t real.
By the way, the idea of Santa Claus not being real, how many times when he is promoted over and over and the children find out that their parents lied to them about Santa, what does that do later on when the same parents tell them about God, and that God loves them and died for them and is real and is in Heaven. That if they pray, God listens. That same child is going to say that you are the same person that told me about Santa Claus, and he wasn’t real, maybe this God thing isn’t real either.
And we wonder why today there is so much atheism and deism around the world. Especially in the Western world. Maybe because some of the traditions that we participated in based on paganism showed its result, which is the denial of the real God and Jesus Christs. That my friends are not a very good thing to think about.
Again, this is a very quick introduction to a later broadcast tonight and one on Christmas day that will open your eyes if you give it a chance. If you look at what is being given to you and this is going to be a video that will be presented to you, then you will see with your own eyes the recordings of the ancients celebrating Christmas time. There is a reason it is in the winter solstice, and that it is connected to rebirth and there is a reason why there is mistletoe and why there are balls on your Christmas tree. It is because they are BALLS! Phallic. All of this is about fertility and paganism and has nothing to do with the real God and Jesus Christ’s’ birth. nothing. What. So. Ever.
There will be a few other myths I will break for you today. The wise men for one. They never visited Jesus in a manger. The Bible makes it clear that he was visited by the wise men, about two years after his birth. That is why Herod wanted all the children slain up to two years of age. Maybe that is how long it was before the wise men showed up? In the gospel it tells you plainly that the wise men visited the “young boy” not the “baby”, in his home. Not in a manger. The idea of there being three, now, once again, the Bible doesn’t say there were three. It says THEE wise men. So… again, that is another nice little story that people want to believe and repeat over and over as if it is, but it is not found in the Bible and is all a part of this mythology of Christmas; the paganism of it. If you really love God and believe in his word, you do not want to hurt God. One of the broadcasts you are going to hear is of a person that I really appreciate and want to listen to repeatedly, the question is asked, what is so wrong with celebrating this and giving gifts and all, well, the deception is being practiced. That is what is wrong!
This man gives a great example in the video we are posting today: If you are married to your wife or husband, and it is a second marriage and your husband tells your child that you bore him, or you fathered for her and that you are to celebrate your mother’s birthday on your first wife’s birthday…do you think the second wife would have a problem with that? Well guess what, God has a problem with that. God has a problem with us putting his name and birthdate on a pagan’s day. He was not a part of Christmas, He condemns Christmas…I am sorry, but this is The Plain Truth.
Like I say with everything…don’t just blindly shut it off saying, “I am not going to listen to this nonsense, I want my Christmas”. That is the very stubbornness that modern Israel has shown as well as ancient Israel. WE want to go our own way, be our own person, and we want to do our own thing not wanting to be told we are wrong. Consequently, we ARE wrong if we do not listen to God when He tells us what He wants us to do.
