Hi, Bob Barney with The Plain Truth Today, brought to you by theplaintruth.com, the place to go to find out what’s happening in the world today, what it means to you, your family, your future, and what God has to say about it, if anything. Sometimes God has stuff to say, sometimes He doesn’t.But today’s topic is a little different than the average what we’ve been doing lately, and it’s about the invisible God in plain sight.

You know, one of the things if you’re like me, when you pray, you’re praying to a God who’s kind of invisible to you. You don’t see Him. I know there’s a lot of people on TV, some of these evangelist types, that try to say they have breakfast with God and they talk to Him all the time.

I remember Oral Roberts, he saw a 90-foot Jesus by his bed, told him he had to raise a million dollars or the Lord would call him home. If they think they’re really going to go to heaven when they die, why would you be upset to be called home to heaven? Better place than on earth, right?But that’s part of the inconsistencies of evangelism and false Christianity, which is rampant today.But when you think about God and the invisible God, the God that doesn’t appear, you know, and you read the Bible and you see there’s times that God appeared, like to Abraham and people like Moses and people in the Old Testament.

But there was many times, even in the Old Testament, when you read certain scripture, you realize that for many generations, God didn’t really appear to people, but He did send prophets that He mainly talked to in dreams and visions. Some prophets He did talk to, it looks like, appears like,but a lot of the times He actually presented Himself in dreams and visions. And because the dreams and visions that these people got, they knew they came from God because of the fact the predictions of those dreams and visions came true.

And so those people became prophets and people believed in them because they would say things. Many times they would say things that didn’t seem could come true, but it did come true.And so they were revered as prophets of old.

You get to the New Testament and the time that Jesus walked this earth, there was many miracles. And when you were a person looking at Jesus doing a miracle, you were actually looking at God in the flesh. And many people who were unaware of it and didn’t believe it, of course, when you read the Gospels, but also for a few years under the apostles, though people didn’t actually see Jesus anymore or gods other than Saul on his trip to Damascus, they did see the apostles do many miracles that they attributed to God, and I do as well.

But for the most part, God hides His face from us. And we talked about that in the past, why God hides His face from us. If you remember the story of Adam and Eve, who hid from who first? Well, because they sinned and they did what they were not supposed to do.

They decided that they were naked because they ate from the knowledge of good and evilthrough thinking being influenced by Satan, the devil, that they would be like God themselves.And they found out miserably that they just cursed their own lives and the lives to come of all human race until Christ came to free us from that curse. But for the most part, we get up today,and if we do believe in God, and I think more and more Americans and people of the Western world, we’re not talking about Muslims here, we’re not talking about some other off religions, but a lot of so-called educated people of the world no longer believe there is a God, or they think that maybe He’s some kind of a force.

They can’t explain it because He’s invisible. Yet, the purpose of the show is yet God is invisible,but He makes Himself plainly known. If you are, no matter where you are, you could be in the forest, you could be on a farm, you could be in the middle of a city, but you look around, what do you see? You see God’s work everywhere.

For example, if you’re in a forest, you look at the trees and you look at the nature that’s happening in that forest and the perfect harmony between nature and the forest trees and the plants that grow there, harmony that only can come from an intelligent being. Doesn’t prove the God of the Bible, but there’s other things that do, and I will explain that in this program. But for the most part, God seems invisible.

And I liked a story one time that was in one of the TV shows, I can’t remember which one, but someone pointed out, if you were to walk through a forest and you were to see a pocket watch, no one, no scientist, no evolutionist would say, well, that pocket watch evolved over millions, if not billions of years. These minerals came together and they made a perfect pocket watch. And so it would be evident to anyone who found that pocket watch that someone made it and it didn’t just happen naturally.

However, when we see the intricate animal structures or plant structures or the properties of water, and we’ve done a show on this in the past, water is the only substance that when it freezes,it goes to the top and it doesn’t sink to the bottom. If ice or water, when it became ice, was like any other element that in its liquid state would freeze, it would go to the bottom. And if that happened in this world, the entire planet would not be habitable.

Did you know that? Because if water froze from the bottom up, because of the weight of water would be heavier than ice, and it’s not, it’s the other way around, ice is lighter than water. And so therefore ice, the only liquid form of a material that actually floats when it is solid form, then if it did not do that, the entire oceans today, most oceans around the world would be totally frozenand life on earth as we know it would not occur. So the miraculous sign of water is a visible sign of God’s imagination and workmanship that we just take for granted.

You look at the flowers on trees, like the dogwood tree or the apple tree that gives us fruit, fig trees. You look at the flowers in the fields, the lilies and the daisies and things like that. And you watch hummingbirds feed off those flowers and what they’re doing is not only are they getting pollen for themselves, which is a food that they make internally, but they spread the fertilization of the flower from itself, from flower to flower.

And that is the only way that plants can survive and reproduce themselves is through animal transfer. To transfer from insects or from birds. And again, if you listen to evolutionists, they’re trying to tell you, oh, this stuff evolved over millions of years.

Well, unless a bee or a bird or another flying insect, like a moth or a butterfly was to evolve the same time the flowering plant evolved, then that flowering plant could not survive those millions of years without something fertilizing themselves or those flowers. And again, when you look at a flower and you see a bee on that flower, you don’t see God unless you’re looking to see Godbecause God is in that flower. God is in that whole operation of regeneration of that plant and the regeneration of that insect or bird who could not survive without that flower.

If they didn’t have that flower to feed on, they themselves would not live. It’s perfect harmony of nature that simply is God in plain sight that we just, with secular education that we’ve had, just do not attribute that to God. You know, we have people call it mother nature.

Actually, it’s father nature because God is the father of all creation and Jesus Christ is the author of that creation and together they’ve made everything. And so mother nature is really God’s nature. It’s the nature that makes the entire world go by.

It makes the flowers flower, the birds survive, the animals survive, total harmony in nature. There’s a song, a very famous song by Bette Midler that says, from a distance, you see harmony. When you look from a spacecraft down at earth, all the other stars are like deserts, right? The moon is like a pot-marked desert surface, inhabitable for human life without a space suit or a capsule or some kind of a vehicle to keep them alive.

But you look at earth, you see this blue planet with white clouds and land masses and it looks as you’re flying back to earth from the spaceship, it looks in perfect harmony. And that perfect harmony is how God invented this earth. You look through, everybody says there’s aliens out there.

No, there’s not. The aliens that people are seeing, we’ve explained this before on The Plain Truth,the aliens that people are seeing are angels or demons, 99% of which are demons trying to fool us about the return of Jesus Christ. You know, the Bible says Jesus Christ is gonna come to this earth and the nation’s armies of the world are gonna meet at a place that we call Armageddon,Armageddon, and we’re gonna fight this UFO invasion that’s trying to take over the earth because by then, man is gonna be convinced that these people are from another planet, they’re evil and they’re gonna kill all human life and take over the earth.

When in fact, what they’re being deceived by the devil is they’re gonna be sitting on that Armageddon plateau ready to fight God as he returns to this earth that establishes millennium.And the majority of the world doesn’t know that. And so they’re gonna be wholeheartedly thinkingthey’re gonna take their tanks and their rockets and their inter-ballistic missiles and their A-bombs and they think that they’re gonna be able to deter Christ from coming back to this earth that establishes kingdom.

And it’s gonna be quite futile. In fact, if God has a sense of humor and when you look around at the human race, you’ve gotta realize the humans were created in God’s own image. So he must have a sense of humor when he watches how foolish we explain things away and we try to keep God hidden even when God is presenting themselves in plain sight.

And that is the whole idea of this broadcast that I wanted to get into. Everything you see around you proves the existence of a God. Now, a lot of people will agree with that statement and they will be Hindus and they will be Muslims and they will be people who do not accept Jesus Christ as God.

They may think he was a great prophet or a great man but they don’t think he was God. And their idea of God is not biblical at all. People simply do not wanna believe in a God that tells them what to do because people wanna be free moral agents all the way up to their deathbed and they really do not wanna obey God.

God has a lot of laws, do’s and don’ts. That we’re supposed to follow. However, we don’t wanna follow them because we wanna do what feels good at the time.

And a lot of times what feels good at the time doesn’t feel good after we accomplish that feeling good thing we did. Often it leads to tragedy, broken marriages, broken homes, wars, and just absolute disasters. God knows all this and that’s why there are do’s and don’ts.

Unfortunately, too many Christian religious folk types try to tell you that Jesus came to do awaywith the Old Testament law. He freed us from the law. Well, being free from the law is not very good to be.

How would you like to live in a lawless society? Well, if you live in most cities in America, you areand I don’t think you’re happy about it. What’s wrong with the law? The law is a protection of your civil rights and of your rights with God and how you can live a long, healthy, bona fide, great life if you follow what God says to do. And so the second half of this program after this time out for the plain truth, we’re gonna get into what you should be doing and how you know that the God of the Bible is the God of reality, the God that’s hiding from us in plain sight.

And a great magician, before I get into this commercial break, a great magician, that’s why they don’t like to do magic in front of children because children always look where they’re not supposed to. A great magician really hides what he’s doing in plain sight but he’s got you looking somewhere else so you don’t see it. Well, that’s what’s going on here.

God is hiding from mankind because who hid from who first? Well, if you know anything about your Bible and you study the book of Genesis and the story of Adam and Eve, they were the first to hide from God. They hid from God because they did not obey God’s laws. And so they hid from God.

And ever since then, God has kind of hid himself from most of us. Now, there are times in historywhen God reveals himself to us, like to Abraham, even to Adam and Eve, to some of the prophets of old, to people like Moses, they talk face to face. And if you’re like me, I pray and I wish, one of my prayers is I wish I could talk to God.

I wish God would even come to me in dreams and visions. I don’t have that. All I have is the Bible.

But God thinks for the most of us, the Bible should be enough for us. And that is the whole idea of the word of God being a love letter from God to us. And when we believe it and we follow it, it will prove itself to us and it will give us the faith to continue without seeing this invisible God, because we will see in plain sight all of the aspects of that invisible God.

One of the stories I like to always give and I’ve been on the message board and writings on ThePlainTruth.com is the story of Alexander the Great, who was actually prophesied to exist long before he became Alexander the Great, some 150 years before he even lived. Daniel predicted the rise of Alexander the Great. And when he came to Jerusalem to destroy the temple, as he did every other temple he ever encountered, the high priest read to Alexander the book of Daniel.

And Alexander plainly realized it was Alexander that Daniel was prophesying about. And he realized that that God of the Jews, by then it was only Jews left in all of Israel, the lost tribes of Israel was already removed by the time of Alexander the Great and they were living in Europe with the Huns in Germany and the Assyrians really what they were. And anyway, he was so impressedwith what he read in the book of Daniel, he did not destroy that temple because he understood it was true.

There are many cases where there are prophecies that directly resulted in immediate provabilitythrough history. You can through history, read what the Bible said and then look at it and look at the results of it. And you will find that the Bible has been accurate all the time.

In fact, there’s a song, a very famous song and I kind of like it. It’s called the Great Speckled Birdand the Great Speckled Bird is the word of God. And one of the lines is, they long to find fault with her teaching, but really she makes no mistakes.

And that means she being the Bible, the word of God. People who are atheists especially or scientists wanna find fault with every word of the Bible and they try to disprove it. Archeology tries to disprove biblical events.

There are all kinds of places mentioned in the Bible that archeologists said never existed. And then what happens? They find these places and they find the exact image that God in the Bible projected. For example, it was not that many years ago they actually found the town of Gathwhich is only found in the books of the Bible.

That is where Goliath, the great giant human being probably seven feet, maybe eight feet tallwhich we have people that tall today. He was a black man. He was a Canaanite in Philistine and they were black people from the tribe of Ham and or the son of Ham, one of the sons of Noah.

And he was probably seven to eight foot tall and the average Israeli at the time with a few exceptions were about five, five, five, eight. So that would look like a giant to them. But anyway, they found the town of Gath but guess what else they found in the town of Gath in this mound when they started digging and excavating.

They actually found a house with a plaque that says the house of Goliath, the giant. That’s provable archeologists and the people that found that they didn’t expect to find that. And they came away with saying, well, that came out of the Bible and it turned to be true but that doesn’t mean all the Bible’s true.

Every time the Bible is tested every time a new discovery is made you will find out contrary to what they wanna believe most of these archeologists that the Bible is accurate much more accurate than any other historical source. And that is again, God hiding in plain sight through archeology. God gets his word out to us.

He gets his message out to us not just by the Bible from many of the books or movies you watch or some of the songs you listen to. God’s got a message in there. Oftentimes the author of that book or short story or song doesn’t even realize he’s echoing God’s position on things.

There’s many songs I’ve played some there’s a feature on the plain truth. The main page of the plain truth and it’s something about God’s in songs. And we have articles of different songs that give the actual predictions of God or the life of God or what God is telling us about God.

And these songs, some of them are very popular especially in the 1960s and 70s many popular rock and roll songs many popular movies has God’s theme in it. A lot of the songs also have the devil’s theme and a lot of the movies and books have the devil’s theme as well. The devil gets his message out.

But so does God, we just don’t see it because again, as I’m saying throughout this whole programGod is hiding things in plain sight. And once you tune yourself to believe in the word of the Bibleand trying to find all of the examples of the Bible proving itself to be true and that is fulfilled prophecy. And I’m not gonna be able to have time to get into it here but we have countless articles a lot of them on the message board that just goes through all of the fulfilled propheciesthat could not have occurred.

People, towns, countries the prediction of Daniel of four world empires and since that time there has only been four world empires. And because we know it’s true we know that the fourth world empire which was ancient Rome and that’s the empire of steel, of iron and a little bit mixed with clay in the toes is going to be the Holy Roman Empire revived in the last times right before Christwhere the Antichrist comes out of Europe maybe Germany or maybe Italy but that’s the axis powers. 

When you think of World War II and the people of World War II like Hitler and Mussolinithey were a foreshadow of the end time beast that comes out of that same region the false Christ and the false prophet the Antichrist that is and it’s going to happen and if you really read the Bibleand understand what it’s saying and you know who the players of the Bible is which we try to show you on this program who the modern nations are because some of them have the same names in the Bible you know Egypt does but for example where is Assyria, the Assyrian empire?

Well if you really know your history and you really find where they migrated to you find out that the Germanic peoples of today and the last 10 tribes of Israel people will think they’re Jewsthey’re not you know all Jews are Israelites but not all Israelites are Jews they’re only one tribeand the nation of Judah where we get the name Jew from was actually only three tribes of the 13and the 12 became 13 we got into that before and talk about fulfilled prophecy by the way the prophecy that Jacob gave his grandsons Joseph’s two sons Ephraim and Manasseh absolutely prove the word of God

 and I’ll just quickly surmise it again here are this is a prophecy written by Moses most likely some you’d have to say almost 3,000 years ago where Jacob takes two sonsthat we know are descendants that became Israel two of the tribes of Israel Ephraim and Manasseh the youngest being Ephraim the oldest being Manasseh we can prove through historythat they became the peoples of Great Britain and America the founding fathers anyway there are a lot of non-Israelites in America

 of course when all of the migrations came in but the idea that this Bible that we know is at least 2,500 years old and I say it’s older but let’s say the archaeologists the scientists say it’s 2,500 years old the Bible and there is a prophecy considered two people that became America and England which prophesied and it’s been in that it’s been there for 2,500 years that the older son Manasseh would be the greatest colonizing nation ever to exist on the face of the earth as a blessing from God that’s Great Britain and the Commonwealthand that the younger brother Ephraim that’s the United States of America the 13th nation of Israelthe 13 is the symbol of America 

and that would be the single greatest country to ever grace the face of this earth until Christ returns can anyone at all honestly not say that in the last 100 yearsthat the United States has emerged as the greatest superpower of all times now it’s also predicted it’s going to go away unfortunately and that’s a biblical prediction that you can bank ontomorrow’s headline is going to be the captivity of the United States of America under the domination of Europe and that’s going to be our true enemy in the future but this is a prophecythat if you read it 150 years ago you would never see how Ephraim was going to be the greatest country of America even if you know it was the United States of America if a thousand years agoyou would have never assumed that Great Britain would colonize the whole world Hong KongChina India Gibraltar all around the world the sun never set on the English flag around the worldyou would have never guessed that just a thousand years ago that that could ever be but yet 500 years ago you could read it and that’s when Anglo-Israelism began about 400 years ago when people realized that Great Britain was prophesied to be the colonizing nation that they became these are all biblical prophecies that came true in plain sight 

that is hidden from most people I would say most people listening to my voice right now have you never heard what I just said it’s never been in a movie it’s never been in a sci-fi movie wouldn’t that make a great movie by the way even if you didn’t believe it and it was just a Terminator type sci-fi movie where the United States was really the descendants of Israel and so was Great Britain and you could make a whole movie about that even in sci-fi and say it had nothing to do with God or reality or history but you don’t even see that in a movie and the reason you don’t or a book or anything the reason you don’t is the devil wants to hide our identity because we have lost the Sabbath day and that’s the mark command of the Bible.

 when you lose the Sabbath day you lose your identity and thereforethe United States of America and Great Britain really do not know who they descended from the Jewish people do and there’s a reason for that they have never lost the Sabbath day the mark command that’s in your Bible in Exodus 28 through 11 and reiterated again in Deuteronomy chapter 5 12 through 15 it emphasizes both rest and remembrance of God’s deliverance from Egypt the Sabbath is the day set apart for rest worship and the reflection of God

 and it had a special mark sign it indicated the sign that people had to do to keep their identity and the Hebrew word translated as mark or sign indicates that the Sabbath functions as an identifying feature of God’s people by observing the Sabbath Israel demonstrated obedience and acknowledgement of God as the source of their sanctification it’s not merely a day of physical rest but a visible covet sign that distinguishes Israel from any other nation and when Israel lost their Sabbath day to Sunday.

 they lost their identity which was predicted in the Bible the Jewish people however never lost their Sabbath day yes they weren’t pagan they did everything wrong that Israel did but they didn’t they didn’t give up on the Sabbath day and so therefore the Jewish people can trace their ancestry all the way back to the tribes of Israel and American England cannot because of that oh here quickly because I’m out of time in the new international version I’m going to read Exodus 31verses 12 through 17 and you make up your own mind then the Lord said to Moses say to the Israelites you must observe my Sabbaths this will be a sign between me and you for the generations to come so you may know that I am the Lord who makes you holy.

 observe the Sabbath because it’s holy to you anyone who desecrates it is to be put to death those working on it will be cut off from their people it will be a sign between me and the Israelites forever for in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth and on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed.

 so therefore my friends it is right there plain in your Bible plain sight.

 God hiding in plain sight that the mark command of the Bible to identify that you are a tribe of Israel is when you know the Sabbath day.
