Bob Barney on the Growing Discontent of Government and Ezekiel 7-14

Hi, Bob Barney for the Plain Truth Today, brought to you by theplaintruth.com, and today I want to go over something that, I don’t know, I probably did talk about this probably some time in the past, but I want to go over it again today, because what I want to talk about today is, really, what do the American people really want? And then again, you got to ask, who are the American people of what they want? So, we’re going to try to go on from this, with this take today, and see how many people agree with what I have to say. I often make the statement, and I think many people agree, that the American people have the government they vote for, and maybe they deserve, but sometimes I have more compassion for the American voter, because I know a lot of people that I talk to, I think are good people, and I think they’re honest people, and I think they’re not corrupt, and I don’t think they’re evil, and I don’t think they’re people of lawlessness, though I think there are a lot of Americans that fall into that category. I mean, when you think about what the Democrat Socialists really represent, they represent the worst of humankind.They represent a lawlessness and a disbelief that there is a God, never alone the God of the Bible. They don’t believe in any God. They believe that man is God, and they believe that government is the God that people really should follow and worship, basically, and what it breeds in a generation or two is a totalitarian fascist or communist government that ends up maiming and killing their own people, and that is what it brings us.So there are a lot of Americans, especially younger Americans, that are falling victim to these Democrat Socialists, excuse me, and I will say right now that a lot of young people just don’t, they don’t have experience. I think maybe in my generation, we had a lot more experience and knowledge than the people today, but saying that, my generation didn’t have the knowledge that my father’s generation had, who had to live through a Great Depression and had to go through World War II, where so many people died. You realize something like 25, 30 percent of all the people who flew over Germany in these bombing raids were maimed, captured, or killed.I mean, it was a big death rate, and these people persevered. So even my generation was spoiled compared to what my father had to live through, and people of that World War II, or you could say the Great Depression era, that Americans had to go through. The Dust Bowl, for example, where farmers lost everything they had.People. There’s a story. I was watching television the other day, and there was a story of a man in the Dust Bowl.He was at a Midwestern town, and he took all his money that he had, some, I guess, $5,000, which today would be $100,000 or $150,000, if not more, and he went and he took it out from his home because he thought he was going to have to leave, and he deposited it in the bank, and as he was walking across the street, this is a true story. I saw this the other day. The guy was being interviewed back in the 1960s, I think, and he was walking across the street to sell his farm and try to move to California, and he looked behind him, and he saw a close sign on the bank that he had just left at like 1 30 in the afternoon.He turned around, and he asked, what’s going on? And they said, the bank closed, and now all the money that’s in there has been lost. It’s been confiscated by the government. There is no moneyto pay.Everybody’s lost everything because the bank is insolvent and can’t collect down its loans. So this guy had made a life’s earning into a bank, and within a minute or two of making that deposit,walking across the street, and I would have to say that the banker taking his money knew exactlywhat was going to happen a minute later and didn’t even want to tell the guy. That’s pretty bad when you think about it, and the guy lost his entire life savings in a few minutes after depositing his money.Do you understand why the people of my father’s generation, a lot of them never trusted banks? They never trusted banks, no matter about all the insurance and everything else, because they lived through the hardest time when their government lied to them constantly. Their governmentunder FDR outlawed people from owning gold. Think about that.You couldn’t hold more than $100 worth of gold, and all the rich people sent all their gold to Europe. That’s how in the 1990s, in the year 2010 or so, you had this great European gold horde found, where all these coins, like brand new condition of $20 gold pieces were found, and $10 gold pieces were found in Europe after 50, 60 years of being hidden out. And rich people could save all their gold.It wasn’t illegal to have your gold in Europe. It was in Switzerland, which was free from World War II, because Switzerland remained neutral and never was invaded by Germany. And so people saw the rich get through a lot of the depression, where they themselves had to give up their gold to Uncle Sam.That’s why a lot of people in rebellion to Uncle Sam and FDR’s proclamation, which was an executive order, no different than these Donald Trump executive orders. I am against these executive orders, which absolutely are unconstitutional, where they banned really the small guy from owning gold. So a lot of people, and I think I would have been one of them, hid their gold in their farm line.That’s why we find hordes in Kentucky and Tennessee, where all of a sudden somebody’s plowing a field, and they hit something, and they open it up. It’s a strong box, you know, and there’s a million dollars worth of gold coins in there that look pristine, because gold does not rust, does not even tarnish, like, for example, silver does, or copper especially. So gold coins were the best thing you could have for storing in the ground, and many people did that because they didn’t trust their government.And there was, like I said, they had a good reason not to trust banks, not to trust their government, yet these same people, when we were attacked in Pearl Harbor, and we went to war with Germany, and we went to war with the Japanese, these same people gave their lives for this government. They died in horrendous type deaths in both the Pacific and the Atlantic field of fighting, and they were great patriots, and we’ve been going through a lot of that in the last 15 years, remembering the veterans of World War II, and all they went through. Even Hollywood stars like Jimmy Stewart was a war hero, flew 26 missions.He only had to fly, I think, 24 or 25, but he flew more than he was supposed to, and they had to stop him from flying because, and these were bomb runs, they had to stop him because they didn’t want to lose a Hollywood hero over Germany, be shot down and killed. They didn’t want to see that happen, so they forced him to stop, to stop flying. These were the patriots we had that went through these terrible times, and that they still were patriots to the American cause, the American principles of liberty.They just did not necessarily like their government, and I think we’re a little bit like that today, and I want to talk about that today because I think a lot of people, like myself, would agree with everything I’m going to say in this program and wonder what’s going to happen with a government that just will not represent the people. And really, that is what is going on today in our time. We have people who vote for presidents or vote for congresspeople, and there’s a vast majority of people in the last 40 years that gave up voting because they say, maybe correctly so, no matter who I vote for, we get the same government, we get the same leaders.I don’t care if it’s a Republican or a Democrat. When they get in office, they never do what they say they’re going to do, and on top of that, they screw us. They take away our money, they raise our taxes, they carve out all kinds of tax loopholes for the really, really rich, and the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, and I’m stuck in the middle.And so, you’ve got to understand why it’s, I don’t say that’s not patriotism going on here, it is just the disgust with our leadership, and I can’t blame them. There’s a line in Ezekiel, it reads, no matter, and depending on what version you want to read, and it says that it’s Ezekiel, I believe it’s chapter 7, yes, chapter 7, verse 14, and it says, the trumpets shout to Israel’s army, the trumpets shout to the people of Israel, and Israel, in the Bible, is the United States of America. We go through this all the time, but America is the Israel of the Bible, it’s the Ephraim part of Israel.Israel belongs, that name belongs to only one tribe of the 12 tribes of Jacob, and that is the tribe of Joseph, which got broken up into two new tribes. The oldest brother, Manasseh, is the United Kingdom, Great Britain, and the younger brother is Ephraim, the 13th tribe of Israel. Think about that, 13 is the symbol of the identity of Ephraim, and that is none other than the United States of America.And so, there is a time coming, according to a lot of prophecy in the Bible, concerning what’s going to happen to the United States of America, during and before the end times, and during the end times, the captivity we’re going to go into, and I’m going to get into that right after this break about the plain truth. Hi, theplaintruth.com, the place to go to to find out what’s going on in the world today. Where are we in world, in biblical timeline? Thank you.And we’re back, and so we’re going to go to Ezekiel chapter 7, 14, and we’re going to go over the trumpet shout to the Israel’s army, to the people of Israel’s, really the real rendition of this. The trumpet stands for a news blast, or an announcement. When the trumpets blew in the old times, like we’re just a few weeks away from the Feast of Trumpets, which is the first day of the seventh month, the holiest month of God’s year, and it’s called the Feast of Trumpets.It’s the feast of announcing the news. A trumpet is really the news. So you could read this, the news comes to the people of Israel, mobilize, join the army, but no one goes.And that is predestined to happen to none other than to Israel, to the United States of America, and to England, and to a lesser extent other parts of the Lost Ten Tribes, Reuben, which is France, or Denmark, which is Dan, or other nations, Naphtali, which is the Netherlands. Those nations are part of Lost Israel, and there’s going to be a time coming when our leaders declare war on an enemy, and the people are going to say, we’re not going. And that’s going to probably manifest itself when an unpopular war, like we’re in right now, happens, and they bring back the draft, because there’s going to be a time when we can’t fill the ranks of our army, navy, and air force, and we’re going to start a draft.You can mark that down in your calendar. I don’t know if it’s a year away, two years away, or five years away, but a draft is going to be reinstituted, and that itself is going to be kind of complicated, because now are women going to be subject to the draft? Well, all your politicians say, no, no, the women will be exempt. Well, how can you do that now that the Supreme Court ruled that women can be in combat, and that women are totally equal to men? Well, with the equal protection under the law of our Constitution, if men can be drafted, then women can be drafted.So when a Republican congressman or senator, or even a Democrat congressman or senator, says to you, oh, we will never draft women, they’re lying to you. And your government lies to you, especially your politicians. They lie to you every second of every day.You know, there’s an old joke, can you tell when a politician’s lying? Look for their lips to move, because whenever their lips are moving, they’re lying. And so you get back to these people saying, no matter who we vote for, we get the same results. I heard a guy once say, I think it was a radio guy, once say that our government is nothing but a turkey with two wings.One of the wings is the Republican, and the other wing is the Democrats. But it’s the same turkey, the same nonsense, the same lies, the same taking advantage of the American public. Can you blame the American public for not trusting their government, when their government has got flock cameras all over this nation, watching every movement that you make? Don’t believe that they’re trying to use these cameras for your security and to solve crime.That’s just a lie. It’s a long list of lies of this government taking away your liberties. We didn’t fight for taxes, you know, we did not fight for taxation without representation.The word on every coin printed in America says liberty. We fought for individual liberties, which we are just rocketing away every time an executive order is signed, or a congressman puts a law together that takes away more rights that you have in order to secure you, to make you feel safe. And to make you feel safe, all you got to do is give up your personal liberties.That’s what’s going on. So I can see why so many people, and I talk to a lot of people still at my age, because I’m still involved in my business daily, who have basically given up. But I can tell you right now, if we get in this, like this war we’re in today, if we get into a major conflict in Europe, and a major conflict between the Soviet Union, which is Russia today, but I’m still calling the Soviet Union, because Putin has delusions of grandeur, that there’s going to be a war, in my estimation, within maybe a year or two, or even sooner, between Western Europe and the Russian Empire, under Vladimir Putin.And this war is not going to end very nicely, because both sides are going to have nuclear weapons to use on each other, and a lot of people are going to die quick. And so World War III, if that’s what it will become, may not be the war before the coming of Christ. It may be a World War IV, we don’t know.But a World War III is going to do a lot of damage, and a lot of Americans probably will somehow get involved. And there will be a day when the Americans will say, we’re not going to join this army. We’re not going to allow our children to be drafted.We’re not going to allow this government to continue foreign wars. We spent, I don’t know, a half a trillion dollars on this war in Iran, plus all of the trillions of dollars we’re spending in inflated food costs and fuel costs, all because of this war. And if we start a draft to send people to get slaughtered in a war, instead of taking care of what Americans really want taken care of, I got news for you.Ezekiel 7, 14 is going to come true. Our leaders are going to call for a draft, and they’re going to tell people, we need you to fight this war overseas again, and the people are not going to show up. And is that because they’re not patriots, or is that because they have a brain, and they realize these foreign wars have done nothing but destroy the middle class of America.It not necessarily destroyed the lower classes, although frankly, the lower classes who end up fighting these wars, getting maimed and dying in these wars, more than any of the rich people, and even of the upper middle class, which sometimes can find their way out for their children, even if they have to send them overseas. But I’m just telling you right now, there is a mood happening in this country of delusion. There’s a delusion with the MAGA movement.I supported Donald Trump the first time, the second time, and the third time. You cannot tell me that this Donald Trump administration is the same Donald Trump administration we had in in 2017. It is not.He was laser focused on small businesses and on the middle class. I was telling my wife just yesterday in our Bible study, I was telling her that in Trump’s first administration, women earned more money, they had a greater increase in income than at any four years in history of the women’s movement or the history of this country. Black people, women and men, made more income, had greater income growth under the first Trump administration than they did under Jimmy Carter’s or Ronald Reagan’s or both Bush’s or Bill Clinton’s administration.That’s a fact. Hispanics, this is why they voted for Donald Trump in 2020 and again in 2024. Hispanics had the greatest increase in their net earnings under the first Trump administration than they ever did under any other administration, and especially under Democrat administrations like Obama and Bill Clinton, which actually people lost money to inflation.Remember the Democrats love inflation. It looks like this president right now loves inflation. So this is why so many people are demoralized with Trump 2.0 that voted for him and had so much hope that the middle class was going to be laser focused on again, like they were the first time around.And when Joe Biden took office, the middle class, small businessmen like myself, suffered immensely with the Biden administration, his inflation and his EPA and his government regulations absolutely stymied the little businesses from growing in this country. I would say they believe in God. Not necessarily the right God, but they are good people as best they know how to be good.And they’re just disgusted with the direction of this country. They’re disgusted with their politicians, who no matter what party it is, there is no change for them. And for somehow, some way, they always end up footing the bill for everything that happens.The middle class is the target of all the get-rich schemes of the United States federal government, state government, and local government. And to prove that point, is you will very seldom ever see speed traps set up in ghettos, because they realize everybody they see, or they catch speeding, is not going to pay their fine. And the courts are not going to put them in jail when they don’t show up to court, because these people are indigent, and they want to go to jail to get a free meal.So you never see a speed trap in a ghetto. You see speed traps where? You see them on major highways, where two things are true. Either there’s a lot of tourists coming through, and tourists mean money, and they can’t even fight a speeding ticket or a flat camera charge, because they’re from another state, and they’re certainly not going to come back to Suffolk, Virginia, for pity’s sakes, to fight a speeding ticket when they’re from Connecticut.They gotta pay it, a hundred dollars, even though that camera lied about their speed, because these cameras are know-how calibrated every one hour that the law requires radar to be calibrated. Did you know that? When you fight a traffic ticket, when a cop gets you on radar, he’s got to show up, and he’s got to prove, and they lie. I understand they lie, but a camera can’t lie, even.They gotta prove and say they calibrated that radar gun within 20 minutes, or within a half hour, of them catching you speeding. Now, yes, they’re lying about that, but they doctored their paperwork to make sure it looks like they did it. But these cameras don’t even do that.They are never calibrated. There is no way, no how, they can prove the speed they clock you at. I don’t think many people realize that, but that is why when you do take it to court, 99 times out of 100, the charges are dropped before you get in front of a judge, because they realize if some judge sees the light and strikes down all of these camera tickets, it’s going to retroact across the country, and they got a problem, because all it’s about is taking money from your pocket and putting it in politicians’ hands, so they can misuse that money and line their pockets.That’s what it’s about. And do you understand why people today don’t want to vote or feel like their vote is meaningless? And do you want to see why possibly the Democrat socialists could start winning elections? Because the more people stay home and say, my vote means nothing, and that is what politicians really want you to do on the opposite side, they always really, that’s why there’s negative ads, they always really want to keep the other side’s voters to stay home. And that’s what’s happening more and more and more with people who are true Americans.They stay home because no matter how they vote, they don’t see a difference. And if that doesn’t change, and my friends, I don’t think it’s going to change. We are history as a country.I’ve told you about a year and a half ago that I have come to the conclusion that the American empire, the American experiment in democracy, and it’s really a republic form of government, not a democracy, it’s a democratic republic form of government, but it’s experiments in individual liberty and freedoms has failed in the last 25 years. It’s failed because the American people, half of them, pay no taxes whatsoever, so their vote is bought and paid for by the Democratic Party.That’s the truth.I have said, and I’ve said on this broadcast, and I’ll say it again, if you don’t pay federal taxes, you don’t pay one dime of income tax, you should not be able to vote for any federal election. If you don’t pay any tax in the state you live in, you shouldn’t vote for state officials, and the same in your town. Taxpayers, do you know that when our constitution was written, that only land owners could vote for the president of the United States and for Congress? I bet you a lot of people didn’t know that.Now you let everybody on welfare vote. Well, aren’t they going to vote who pays their welfare payments? Which is the Democratic Party. So right off the get-go, you know, half the people in America do not pay taxes.Now they do, they pay hidden taxes, they pay inflation, the cruelest tax of all, they pay all kinds of sales taxes on the food they buy and on the merchandise they buy, but they don’t understand that is taxes. But they are going to keep voting for the party that stops them from paying income taxes. In fact, I know many people, I know many people that work for $15, $20 an hour that claimdependents, children they don’t have.They find people in their ghetto neighborhood that do not file taxes, they get the social security numbers from their children, and they say they have six or seven dependents and they don’t have any children of their own. And they get $3,000, whatever it is today, a child, and they actually get money back they never paid in. They never paid in a dime in taxes, yet they get $21,000 back.I am personally saw one employee of a business across the street from mine, a friend of mine did their taxes, they get $8,900 back for child care, you know, for having children that they did not have and spent that money within a few days. You think you’re going to vote for a Republican? Do you think you’re going to vote for somebody that says everybody should pay some taxes or they should not be able to vote? And this is what the hard-working American who works overtime, watches it all go, and who pays taxes and does everything right, and pays his mortgage on time, pays his credit cards on time, does everything that you’re supposed to do, and he watches everybody else get away with murder. Literally, sometimes murder by the way.But he sees these people who don’t pay taxes, get these big refunds dishonestly, sees the rich people use every loophole that Congress gives them so they don’t end up paying taxes, and it all falls to this middle-class people who are trying to do everything right and have given up with this country. And I understand their frustration, or as Bill Clinton would say, I do feel their pain because I’m part of that pain. I feel it too, and I don’t think it’s going to change.I pray to God it could change, but I don’t think it’s going to change. I think it’s gone. I think our country is gone.We’re history. We are following, if you go back with some of these podcasts that I’ve done, We Are the Israel. I have a podcast on Hosea.The whole book of Hosea is about the United States of America and our coming decline, and we are declining as the free people of the greatest experiment on the face of this earth, blessed by God Almighty, a blessing he gave to Abraham some 3,500 years ago that came true in 1803 for America. And our leaders and our people have, through greed and corruption and basically not following God’s examples and his laws, have washed it all away. And we’re paying the cost for it now, but there’s a worse cost coming according to your Bible.It’s called slavery. Yes, America is going to become captured by the aliens amongst us, and we are going to become slaves to a great empire that will be rising out of Europe called the King of the North, the beast government, the Antichrist government. It’s coming.I don’t know when. Not going to predict it. God doesn’t talk to me.I only read the Bible, but it’s coming because I believe the Bible.
