Good morning. This is Bob Barney with The Plain Truth today, and I want to talk today about a news event that’s going to happen in your future, or maybe your children’s future, or maybe their children’s future. It’s going to happen.

I can’t tell you when it’s going to happen, but it’s going to happen, and it will be the news of the day.

I keep telling everyone that the real news that you need to know is not what accident happened on Highway 64, or what President Biden’s doing today, honestly, or what’s going on in Washington, D.C., or what’s going on around the world. There’s stuff you should know about that, and we try to bring you the news around the world and what it means, but we always say you need to watch what’s going on in the Middle East, you have to watch what’s going on in Europe, and you need to watch what’s going on in the Muslim world, and you are therefore looking at what the Bible says is the news of the future.

I’ve always said, and I’ll say it again, most news stories concern what happened yesterday. Well, for the most part, what happened yesterday can be what I would call knowledgeable. I mean, you can learn from history.

I always say you need to learn from history, but frankly, a lot of the times what happened yesterday has nothing to do with your life today, and we’re talking about your life in the future. You know, real news is not just what happened yesterday, but it predicts what’s going to happen tomorrow. There was a TV show about, I don’t know, 25 years ago that was Tomorrow’s Headlines.
I forgot what the TV show was called, but every night, I think around 9 or 10 o’clock at night, when this guy came home, there was a newspaper at his front door, and it was Tomorrow’s Newspaper, and so he would read that newspaper and see what was going to happen the next day, and then he would see some tragedy, and he would – the rest of the TV program, it was an hour long. The rest of that program, he would try to stop the event that he read in the newspaper from happening. If it was some tragedy for some child being killed or some person falling out of a building or some woman being tortured to death, there would be all kinds of different stories, and so he would read that story and then spend the next 10, 12, 15 hours trying to prevent it, and if I recall the show right – and I did like the show.

My brother-in-law, Joe Kovacs, some of you may know, and I used to really like that show when he lived with us many years ago. I guess it would probably be 30 years ago or more, but anyway, to make a long story short, most of the time, he wasn’t able to change the future, and that was the whole concept of the show, but where I’m getting to today is you frankly do not need newspapers to tell you what happened yesterday, because it probably, except for maybe world events that’s going to, you know, leading up to a world war that you should be aware of or leading up to something going on in the Middle East you should be aware of or terrorism in America that may affect your town, that something happened yesterday so you can plan for tomorrow. Well, that’s news that you need, but 90% of the news that you listen to each night on the TV news or on the newspaper or in a magazine has happened, and really you have nothing to do with it and nothing to do with you. It’s not going to interfere with your life in any way, and for the most part, you can ignore it. 

The news you frankly need is the news that God can give you and no one else, and that is what’s going to happen in the future.

What’s the news events going to be, you know, 10 years from now, 5 years from now, 100 years from now, whatever time we have left, and I just want to say one thing right now.

I don’t have a clue what’s going to come next. I don’t know when God is coming back, God doesn’t have breakfast with me like he does a lot of these other evangelists. He doesn’t talk to me, you know, with some 60-foot figure standing at the front of my bed.
God’s pretty much left it to me to try to figure out the future by myself, but you know, he left a pretty good love letter to us so we can read it and understand God’s mind, and it’s called the Bible. You read the Bible and you will read many prophecies. I’m going to go through a prophecy right now and what I’m going to be talking about today, and it’s not anything religious like I keep saying.
The Bible is not religious. The Bible is a history book, number one, and number two, it is a news event book. It records news of the past and it records the news of the future, the kind of news you frankly really do need.

Watching yesterday’s weather doesn’t do you any good, you know. The tornado that came and killed your neighbors would have been a lot nicer if you knew about it the night before and you could have taken shelter. Well, God gives you both the news of the past in the Bible and he also gives you the news of the future, and I’ll read you one of the prophecies which is found in the book of Daniel.

I’m going to briefly read through it, but in the first year of Belshazzar, the king of Babylon, Daniel had a dream and visions in his head while on his bed, and he wrote them down telling the main facts. Daniel spoke saying, I saw in my vision by night and behold there were four winds of heaven were stirring up the great sea and out of the four and out came four great beasts that came up out of the sea. The first beast was like a lion, and it had eagle’s wings and I watched it till the wings were plucked off and suddenly another, I’m paraphrasing, I’m going through this quicker, and another suddenly a beast, a second beast was like a bear, and it arose and it had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth.

After this I looked and then I beheld a third beast, it was a leopard which had on its back four wings like that of a bird. The beast also had four heads and dominion was given to it and after this I saw in the night vision and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge iron, that’s a clue there, iron teeth.

This leopard was devouring, breaking into pieces and trampling the residue with its feet. It was different from all the other beasts that were before it and it had ten horns, meaning ten kings. You’re going to find those same ten kings in the book of Revelation by the way. I was considering the horns and there was then another little horn that appeared, coming up among them, before whom the three first horns were plucked out by its roots and there in this horn were the eyes of the eyes of a man, but the mouth spoke pompous words, or like the words of the devil. And I watched till thrones were placed and then the Ancient of Days was seated.

 Now there is a confusion here and I’m not sure and I will not stand on this but the Ancient of Days could be God the Father but it could also be Jesus Christ because in his pre-existent form, before he became a man and walked this earth as a man and died as a sinless man, God was made up of two supernatural beings, God the Father and Jesus Christ who was then called the Word.
He was the Word of God and God the Father was not God the Father at that time. He was God like Christ. And there is very ample evidence from listening to Jesus talking, especially during his last night on earth, as a human being living anyway, before he was murdered, that he actually told his disciples in his prayer, that if they listened they fell asleep, that he had a pre-existence and was equal at one time to God the Father and that he became less than equal to the Father God and the Father, the God that became the Father, became the Father when Jesus became a man. And before then, the two were equal Gods. And Christ, in His love for his creation, because Christ, according to the Gospel of John, created the heavens and the earth by Himself, it seems like, through Him everything was created, through Him man was created, we are in the image of God which is Christ and the Father. And so, we see here where the Ancient of Days is mentioned.

Could it be the Father?

Yes, but actually you read in other chapters, and you see the Ancient of Days really meaning Christ. He is the God of the Old Testament. Jesus Christ is the God that said, let there be light.

Jesus Christ is the God that created the heavens and the earth and put the stars in the heavens. Jesus Christ is the one who recreated the earth and rebuilt it again after its first destruction caused by Satan, rebelling against God, and started a Garden of Eden and he put man in there, created man out of the dust of the earth, and that was all done by Jesus Christ. The God who walked in the garden and talked to Adam and Eve was none other than the God that became Jesus Christ.

The God who gave the law to Moses was none other than Jesus Christ. The God who wrote the Ten Commandments with his own very finger on rock, on stone, was none other than Jesus Christ. The I Am of the Old Testament, the Yahweh of the Old Testament, is none other than Jesus Christ.

That is the mystery of the Bible that most people have overlooked. The God who promised Abraham that his seed would inherit the entire earth and bless the earth through his seed and the two greatest nations on earth would come through his seed. That God, who was Abraham’s best friend, was none other than the personage that became Jesus Christ who walked this earth.
And Jesus said to the Pharisees and those who did not want to hear what he had to say was, Abraham looked forward to my day and he saw it and was glad. So, Christ, as the God of Abraham, revealed to Abraham the plan of the future. He showed him that he was going to come as a man, that he was going to come and take away the sins of the world, and that he would be born from a woman who was from the line of Abraham. And that Abraham’s line would be a blessing to the whole world because Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection is a blessing to all the world, not Jews, not Israelites, but the entire human race has been set free of their sin by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ who was the God of the Old Testament. And so, this Ancient of Days could be none other than Jesus Christ. And it goes on in chapter 13, I was watching in the night visions and behold one like a son of man, well now we know that’s Jesus Christ, coming with the clouds of heaven.

He came to the Ancient of Days. So it sounds here that Jesus Christ is not the Ancient of Days in this particular prophecy, that the Ancient of Days is here a reference, a rare reference to God the Father in the Old Testament. I’ve said many times in the Old Testament there’s very few mentions, even hints, that there is more than one God. There are hints, but there are very few. But this is one, another one is the Psalm that Jesus Christ liked to really bother the Pharisees and the Sadducees with when he said, who is David’s Lord, when he said, the Lord said to my Lord. And they did not dare ask him any more questions because they couldn’t figure out who David’s Lord was if it wasn’t the God of the Israelites, and it was. Yet David’s Lord had a Lord, and that is the Ancient of Days of this prophecy. And it goes on and Daniel says how he was grieved, and then he is given an example or an explanation of his vision that the fourth kingdom would be the last kingdom on earth that was extant when Christ returns and sets up his kingdom that will last forever and ever. And it’s a kingdom that we read in other chapters of Daniel, and then later in Revelation, that is really none other than the Roman Empire.

Then you say, wait a minute, can the Bible be right? The Roman Empire came and went. There’s no Roman Empire. How can it be the end time, powerful entity that controls all of the world’s mind, newspapers, everything? The Antichrist is the king of this empire, this Roman Empire.

How can this be if the Roman Empire is gone? 

Well, unbeknown to most people, unbeknown to most historians, the Roman Empire did not collapse in the 6th century AD. It was mortally wounded, and that’s the mortal wound we read in Revelation, that the beast has a mortal wound that it overcame. And in 800 AD, Charlemagne, a German, became the Holy Roman Emperor.

He crowned himself that because the Pope would not do that, and he crowned himself Holy Roman Emperor on Christmas Day of 800 AD. In fact, it was such an important event to famed scientist Isaac Newton, who secretly wrote commentaries on the Bible that was not allowed in his day, so he secretly wrote them. And they were not discovered until the 20th century, by the way.
They stayed hidden for some 400 years, but he wrote many treatises on the Bible, and he actually, in his mind, mathematically predicted the date of Christ’s return. Now, I’m not agreeing necessarily that he’s right on this, but he used 800 AD, Christmas Day, as the starting point of Daniel’s prophecy of the 1230 days and the 1333 days that we read later about, that when he added these dates together, he came that the Jewish people would have a homeland, not the Israelite people. He understood the difference between Israel and Judah, but the Jewish people would have a homeland starting in 1890, and that is when the English Declaration that brought the Jews back to Jerusalem.

Then again, he said in 1947 or 48, I believe, would be a second rise of the Jewish nation in the Holy Land, and that is when Israel became a state recognized by the United Nations. And then he goes on for the last, I think, 45 years or whatever it comes out to, or 245 years, whatever it comes out to. But anyway, it comes out to 2060 is the date he picked as the date Christ returns.
Now, I’m not telling you to mark on your calendars 2060. There’s some of you alive today that’s going to be around in 2060. I don’t think I would be.

I’d be 105. But anyway, I just wanted to point out that Isaac Newton, understood the importance of Daniel, Daniel’s prophecy in predicting the future, and seeing the future as nothing but news stories just yet to come, that the end time beast government, which would be dominant in the whole world, that would fight the world that was against him, the Antichrist of Revelation, John’s writings, was going to come out of Europe, out of a revised Holy Roman Empire. And these seven heads represent the seven revivals of the Roman Empire. Napoleon was one of them. In my opinion, Adolf Hitler was one of them. But maybe not Adolf Hitler, but Adolf Hitler was definitely a symbol of the end time Antichrist if he was not one of the revivals.
Napoleon was the emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. But according to the Bible, according to Daniel, and I trust the Bible’s news accuracy, that in the end time there will be a revived Holy Roman Empire, a Catholic pope will give power to the beast, to the Antichrist, and the two will reign from Rome and Central Europe. There is a belief, and it looks like biblical prophecy could actually point to the Antichrist ending up sitting in a rebuilt temple. We know the temple will be rebuilt in Jerusalem. It says so both in Daniel and in Revelation. There’s going to be a temple.

The antichrist is going to sit there and he’s going to say that he is God and that Christ is not God. And that is the abomination that causes desolation according to many. And I somewhat do agree with that interpretation.

But the point being here, we know from our Bible there are only four world kingdoms that are mentioned in the book of Daniel. The last is clearly identified by every single theologian that I know of that has ever written that this fourth beast is the Roman Empire. Now, what they think about the end time going on past A.D. 515 or whatever it was, I don’t know what most people think.

But many scholars, especially really good biblical scholars of the 17th and 18th and 19th centuries, clearly identified Europe and the Catholic Church as the seat of a revived Holy Roman Empire that would dominate the world politics and world news and is talked about here in the book of Daniel and also in the book of Revelation. A side note here, when I talked about Charlemagne, the EU has a magazine that it publishes promoting the benefits of the European Union, which is a fore-runner of the Holy Roman Empire, which is to come. And they are our enemy. China is not our enemy. Russia is not our enemy. The Muslims are our enemy.
They’re the king of the South. We’ll talk about that in a second. But the king of the North is also our enemy. And that is a Central European, Axis-like, Nazi-like government that is arising with an Antichrist at its helm, given power by the Catholic Church and a pope. And it will be a terror of the world. And it is during this time that Christ will return.

And he will probably move his headquarters, or at least maybe his winter headquarters, to Jerusalem. And he’s going to put his throne, which is going to be the throne he takes away probably from the king or queen of England at the time, with the stone of destiny underneath it. And he’s going to crown himself in Jerusalem in a newly rebuilt temple.

And he’s going to proclaim that he is God. He is going to offer sacrifices to himself, probably that of pig’s blood, by the way. And that is the abomination that causes desolation and causes the immediate return of Christ to save us from ourselves.
Because World War, whatever number it will be at the time, that would destroy all of the earth. All of the earth would be destroyed, Christ said in Matthew 24, unless the days were shortened for the elect’s sake. The elect, of course, are Christians. We’re not raptured to heaven. As these modern-day churches try to teach you, there is no rapture to heaven. You have to live through it.
If you’re a Christian, just like Noah had to live through the flood. The ark wasn’t lifted up to heaven and off the floodwaters. Noah had to go through the midst of the floodwaters.

The Israelites weren’t lifted out of Egypt and transported into Sinai Desert. No, they had to go through the heart of the Red Sea with waves on both sides of them, with terror all around them. That is the symbol of the tribulation that is coming.
And that tribulation, the church of God is going to have to go through. And the two witnesses come out of this tribulation, whoever they will be, I don’t know, but they are the mouthpieces for God. They are the Aaron and Moses, like in the book of Exodus and Deuteronomy and the books of Moses.

They are the prophets of God who are going to declare droughts whenever they want to, and they’re going to make war against the Holy Roman Empire and the Antichrist. And they’re going to be defeating the Antichrist for the first three and a half years of their mission of the first part of the tribulation. And the Bible in the Revelation is clear to point out that the beast, the Antichrist, finally subdues them in the streets of Jerusalem. He kills them. Their dead bodies lay on the street, not picked up for three days. And the whole world, Revelation says, looks upon their bodies.

That must be television news through satellite, CNN and Fox News and CBS and ABC and BBT and you name it, Al Jazeera, will all be showing these dead bodies, and everybody is going to rejoice. I think it’s going to be Christmas time because Revelation even says that people are going to give presents to one another over the death of these two people that scourged the earth. And I can see Fox News now calling it a Christmas miracle that these two monsters that paralyzed the whole world and went against the great leader of Europe was finally subdued and killed.

And it’s a Christmas miracle. I can just see that now. And of course, everybody’s opinion is going to change.
The whole news is going to change after three days because after three days, these two dead bodies come back to physical, not spiritual life, I don’t believe, come back to physical life. And they go up in the clouds in front of everyone, front of all the TV cameras. Talk about news story of the day. A lot more news than what you’re seeing today, even with the Donald Trump trial. And they’re going to meet Christ in air, maybe be spirit by then, maybe not be, but they’re going to come back to life. They’re going to scare the bejesus out of everyone that watches it on TV and in person. And then everyone’s going to realize, oops, we made a bad mistake. We picked the wrong side. And a lot of people are going to try to run to God at that time.

But there is a time, Revelation says, it’s going to be too late to run to God. He’s going to have closed the door on you. So, you really want to get there on this side of the door closing and try to get in with God. And it’s very easy to do. You just have to tell God you want to be in with him. You don’t have to be found.

You don’t have to go to some church. You don’t have to be going on some altar call, some born again movement that don’t really exist anyway. You don’t have to be seen with some evangelist who’s famous in order to be seen by God. All you have to do is in the privacy of your own home, of your own backyard, your own cornfield, if you have one, is to go and talk to God. Talk to God the Father and talk to God, Jesus Christ, and ask them to get involved in your life and to help you understand the Bible and to help you understand what’s going on. And God will reveal to you over time, if you diligently seek God, God says he will be found, you can find God, and you will then be on the good side of that door when it closes and not the bad side.

The news is coming that the two enemies of the world basically are going to be the King of the North, which is Europe, a Holy Roman Empire revival of Europe, and the Beast to the South, which is the King of the South, which will be an Arab Muslim leader, not necessarily Arab, but a Muslim leader who will reign a United States of Islam all the way from Africa to the Middle East, probably all the way to Iran and Afghanistan, and that will be his kingdom. And he will war against the King of the North, and the King of the North will eventually defeat the King of the South. But I didn’t finish mentioning the European Union has a magazine that, to this day, is still published, and it promotes a unified Europe in what we know as the fulfillment of Daniel for pity’s sakes.

Guess what the name of that magazine is that they call themselves? The Charlemagne. Remember who I said Charlemagne was? The first Holy Roman Emperor of 800 AD who crowned himself king. That’s what the name of the European magazine for the EU is called. Because European fat cats, you know, the billionaires of Europe, the Rothschilds, the you-don’t-really-even-know-today, they are the power behind the scenes in Europe, and they’re trying to do away with the middle class, they’re trying to do away with democracy and liberty around the world, including America and in Europe.

They’re trying to bring in the fastest government that will have two sets of people. There will be no middle class in this Holy Roman Empire. There will be like a middle-evil Europe. Again, there will be kings and lords and there will be slaves called serfs, and they’re nothing really but slaves of the state. There will be no middleman baker. The bakers will be working for a big company.

There will be no middleman anything. Everyone will have to work for a large company or a large farm or something large that is not necessarily owned by the government. We’re not talking about communism here, but something controlled by the government and protected by big government. Like in America right now, big business, big pharma, and big news is protected by the deep state big government, and don’t ever be fooled that it’s not. But the news of tomorrow, the news you should be aware of that you should keep your mind open to is what’s going on in the Middle East, like we always said, but also what’s going on in Europe. You know, I talked about this Boeing whistleblower thing and what’s going on with Boeing. I personally believe European fat cats behind the scenes are really planning these stories and trying to take Boeing out of competition for Airbus, which the European Union owns. And so always be leery of what you see in the news, because most of the news, as Donald Trump did rightfully point out, is fake news. When you turn on the news set, TV set every night, and you watch news, or you open up the newspaper each day and you read it, probably 75 or more percent of what you read is fake news planted there by somebody with a message trying to change your opinion on something.

And that’s what’s going on. Be aware, please be aware, that the news of tomorrow is found in the Bible. And what you need to do is start reading the Bible, have a good understanding of the Bible, read the words on the page. You know, what the words on the pages say is exactly what the words means. Now, granted, there may be translation errors, depending on what version of the Bible you’re reading, but any good commentary, any good concordance and commentary on the Bible, if you search diligently for God, you will find him. Well, you have to search diligently into the Bible.

But when you read the Bible and you get to understand it and God gives you the mind to understand it through the Holy Spirit, and you begin to understand it, you will see a whole different world, and you will understand the Bible is giving you news for tomorrow, the news that you really need, and not the fake news you’re being fed by a deep state around the world preparing you for slavery, because that’s what you’re being prepared for. You’re being prepared for slavery to the state, and you’re going to lose your liberty, you’re going to lose your Bill of Rights, you’re going to lose your form of government, and you’re going to be taken over…and you’re going to be taken out of the middle class or the upper middle class or the lower middle class, and you’re all going to be turned into servants of the state and a big business that is controlled by the state. 

That is the future of this world.

Maybe we can prolong that future through fasting and prayer and for asking God to forgive our sins as this country, because this country is the last bastion of hope for Christians around the world. This country is the last hope, and when God removes this country, which is going to happen from the world scene, the world instantly falls into the tribulation. It is America, my friends, that is keeping the tribulation from happening. But as I was saying, that is why there is this effort by evil liberals who hate God and want to destroy American democracy, American liberty, American’s Constitution, and America’s Bill of Rights…why? Because we are the force that God has put on this earth to stand in the way of this world government of the Antichrist that is trying to find its way to being.
