Hello, Bob Barney with a Friday wrap-up. This is going to be a little kind of a different Friday wrap-up than usual because it’s not going to be done on Friday. I’m traveling yesterday and today during the Friday wrap-up, so I’m doing this Wednesday. So we’re going to do a topic that could be considered a Friday wrap-up, but the whole wrap-up will be about one topic and what’s going on. And the topic I want to get into is, are we going to war with Venezuela? And maybe by the time this even airs, we’ll be at war. Like I said, I’m doing this on Wednesday before we take auto train to Florida, to our Florida location for our business. So the theme of the story is really, are we going to go to war with Venezuela and should we? What is Donald Trump doing here? He seems to be doing a little bit of a despotic ruling here when it comes to Venezuela. Are we trying to do a regime change? If it’s the drug situation as he portends, we know that’s not simply the truth. Very little, if any drugs that make it to the American shore comes out of Venezuela. It basically comes through Mexico. We all know that. And what Venezuela’s drug trafficking does do is really cocaine, which goes to the other islands.Maybe some of it finds its way to America, but America right now does not have really a cocaine problem. It has a fentanyl problem, and that’s all coming from Mexico with ingredients that you get from China. So-called.That’s why we have this big tariff on Mexico for the fentanyl crisis and why we have this extra tariff on China, supposedly because they are supplying the raw materials to fentanyl in Mexico that gets to our border. So we’re having a little bit of miscommunication about what is going on with Venezuela. We’re blowing up boats without any proof to Congress that I’ve seen, or to the press, but at least Congress is left in the dark, of any proof that these boats are drug boats, are not fishing boats, as some people claim they are.And we even now had a story this week, breaking this week, about back in September, it looks like they destroyed a boat and there was two survivors floating in the water with pieces of the boat hanging on for their dear life. And we went back and executed them through the drone strike, which would be really a war crime if that was the case. And if someone did that against Americans, which has happened, by the way, back in World War II, the Nazi submarine captains oftentimes would sink a boat and then they would surface and anybody, the survivors in the sea, they would machine gun to death. And those people were brought up on war crimes when they were captured after World War II. Many Nazis face execution for the war crimes that they did, breaking the Geneva Convention on how you can fight a war. And the one thing you cannot do, you can kill someone a second time around if they are still holding arms or they’re still a danger. But if they are almost like half dead on a log floating in the ocean, you don’t have a right to go back and kill them if that story ends up being true. What is the situation with Venezuela? What are we really trying to do? Does oil have something to do with it? Hint, hint. And does the Trump family have something to do what’s going on in Venezuela? Is there some other answers here? And we’re going to play some videos or some audios from videos from YouTube.Rand Paul, for example, has some insights as so do some other people about what’s really going on here. And this is the the idea of today’s Friday wrap-up. When six democratic lawmakers gave that message about soldiers have to not to follow illegal orders, there was a lot of ballyhool about it.And I do think Donald Trump should have been more careful in his answer to that. I think many times Trump speaking out kind of hurts him more than it helps him because he goes overboard. He doesn’t stick to the facts. He just goes overboard. And here’s an example where one of his own senators turned against him on this subject. But if you take at face value the idea that calling your opponents traitors, and then specifically saying that it warrants the death penalty, is reckless, inappropriate, irresponsible. There are a number of other ways to describe it, but it’s not something that is helping the country heal wounds. I think it stirs things up. And really, I think we can do better.I think personally, that was Rand Paul, by the way, I personally think Donald Trump’s doing this kind of stuff on purpose. He wants to be bombastic, and it’s to the TV in him. It’s reality TV, and I hate reality TV shows, but that’s exactly what he does. And oftentimes, he takes an issue where he’s at least partially correct, if not totally correct. By the time he’s done with everybody disagrees with him, even his own supporters. And he is getting himself deeper and deeper and deeper in trouble with his own party. And I don’t think the man understands this. I think he still thinks he’s playing to TV and reality TV. And I guess Donald Trump doesn’t understand that reality TV is fake.He talks about fake news. Well, reality TV is fake. So that was just one example of one of the senators. Now, Rand Paul is a libertarian, and he has disagreed with Donald Trump more than once. But there’s other ones as well. It’s not just Marjorie Taylor Greene and Thomas Massey going against him. There’s more and more, especially in the Senate, when it came out about the firing upon the sailors that had their ship blown up beneath them, and they were like clinging to the ship itself, and they went back to kill those two individuals, it seems like. I’m not sure if that’s fake news. The New York Times pointed it out, printed it.But when I found out the other day that that really happened in September and not like two weeks ago or something, then it makes you wonder if this was a coordinated effort, to be honest, to entrap Trump by the New York Times. They probably leaked the story to these six senators or six Congress people—they’re not all senators—and told them they were going to have this story so they could put out this thing about an illegal order before the story comes out, which kind of backs up what they were doing. So it almost sounds like a little bit of a setup job on the press and the Democrats in Congress, in my opinion.Never, ever trust the press anymore at all. But at the same time, Donald Trump keeps stepping right in it when he just can’t keep his mouth shut. Sometimes it’s better to let other people talk for you.It really is. But even some really pro-Trump supporters in Congress, Mike Turner is one I can think of offhand, had a comment about this sinking of this boat and going back and killing the survivors. If this story is true, he’s not saying it is true, but this is his quote on TV the other day when he was asked about it.Obviously, if that occurred, that would be very serious, and I agree that that would be an illegal act. This is completely outside of anything that has been discussed with Congress, and there is an ongoing investigation. Now, that wasn’t a Democrat House member, that was a Republican House member who is quite pro-Donald Trump, or has been, questioning this. Now, I want to make this clear here. Donald Trump denies that this actually happened, and he’s taken Pete Hegseth’s word that it did not happen, and on Air Force One he said this. He said he didn’t do it, and so that may be true or may not be.Sometimes it seems like this time around in this administration, they make a statement of something simply did not happen, and then later on you find out it did happen, and then they try to parcel the words about what they really meant, and they start to act a little Clinton-esque here sometimes after they get caught fibbing, and we’ll have to find out what’s going to happen here, but it is important, and I know, and I had people at work, and I’ve had some customers I talked to, and some independent reps that I talked to tell me, well, this happens to Americans all the time. Do you think the Muslims give America any good quarter when they capture our people, or do you remember in World War II how the Japanese killed Americans when they were parachuting out of the airplanes? They didn’t give them quarter, but we still follow the rules of war because, for the most part, when you do so, you do not allow the enemy to get away with it when they do it. You have to be above it, but if you did war crimes along with the enemy, and I know, but like my brother always says, everything you do in a war is a war crime if you’re killing somebody, but there are degrees of war crimes. One is that the international community does agree what you can do during a war and what you can’t do during a war. I do not know what really happened on that boat, and that’s not what’s important. What is important, and I had a show about this a long time ago, probably seven, eight months ago. What is important is perception, because perception becomes reality, and I got news for you. Reality is what people think is true, and that can be really hard on the people that they’re starting to question. I’ll be right back.Hi, Bob Barney for The Plain Truth, the place to go to find out what’s going on in today’s news, what it means for you, your future, your family, and maybe what God has to think about it. That’s theplaintruth.com. Go there every day. Thank you.So we’re back, and we’re really, this Friday wrap-up, we’re really talking about one subject. This was done Wednesday. I want to be up front. This was done two days before Friday, but it’s a general thing. We can always go back and do this on any Friday wrap-up that we want to stick it in here. It’s about, you know, the use of the military that Donald Trump keeps wanting to do, and I found another YouTube quote here that I’m not saying I agree with one bit, but perception is reality. But also, if you remember some of my programming, I say just how ignorant many Trump supporters are. There was a time when liberals were the morons, and the conservatives knew exactly what was going on. They read different newspapers. They watched different news. They were well informed. What I have found over the years, even in the first administration, that there are many ever-Trumpers who are basically as stupid as the never-Trumpers.The never-Trumpers can’t find anything right Donald Trump did. If he brought peace to the Middle East, or if he brought, you know, fed every single person in the world and stopped all starvation, they would find some fault with it. Well, then you have the ever-Trumpers, and no matter what he does, they don’t have a problem with it, even though they had a problem when Hunter Biden did it, or when Bill Clinton did it.But when Donald Trump does it, well, he’s sitting next to God. In fact, according to some of these people, I think they think he’s more important than God, and he can do anything he wants. And here is an example of this.Like I said, I don’t endorse necessarily the whole concept of this audio you’re going to hear, but it does kind of show you the problem we have with the ever-Trumpers out there, and their lack of understanding. This was a segment on Inside Edition, and questioning Donald Trump supporters, and if they could tell Donald Trump’s quotes apart from Hitler’s. Listen to this. You’re a Trump supporter, right? Of course I am. Go Trump. It’s a cringeworthy social experiment.Watch what happens when Donald Trump fans are read what they thought were quotes of his. I’ve got a Trump pamphlet here, but I’ve replaced all the quotes with Hitler quotes. Trump’s been compared to the German dictator by some throughout his presidential campaign, but can these random people tell the difference between the two? SoFlo’s YouTube channel puts it to the test.Who says I am not under the special protection of God? What do you think about that? Do you think? I feel like that’s okay. That’s okay? If Trump’s an atheist, that’s okay. I do not see why man should not be as cruel as nature. Why do you think he comes up with that? Oh, man is the cruelest animal. Great liars are also great magicians. Wow.Well, I think that he’s going to lie in any way probably to support the country, to keep the country going. There’ll be good lies. So you support everything that he’s said in this pamphlet here and in these quotes, right? Of course.I’m a Trump fan. Because Trump said it. Now, when he reveals the quotes are really Hitler’s comments, their reactions are hysterical.I’d say you’re lying to me, wouldn’t I? They are though. They’re quotes from Hitler. You made this pamphlet and did that? Oh my God.I’m definitely not down with racism. So do you still support Trump? Yeah, but I don’t support Hitler. Well, but you support these quotes, all right.Well, if Donald Trump said I might support him. Be sure to watch. If Donald Trump said I would support him.Do I have to rest my case here? We never had this really with the thinking part of the Republican Party in the past. We really did not. This is the kind of idiots that really followed the Kamala Harris’s, the Bill Clinton’s and the Democrats of the past where they would, you could put every Chairman Mao or Joseph Stalin quote on any presidential Democrat candidate and you could do it on the same thing and the Democrat voters out there would have nothing wrong with any of the statements.Even if it was killing 25 million people and starving them to death, they would find a reason that it was really good for the environment or for some reason. And this is now what I see happening with those who claim they are just ever Trumpers. They are ever Trumpers no matter what he does. And that is dangerous. And I want to tell you why it’s dangerous. We’ll go to the Bible for a second. And a matter of fact, my brother and I had a discussion about this. You think of about a person that is really close to God in the Bible. And one of the people that’s always going to come to mind is actually a hero of the Bible that God in the Bible says that this person is a man after his own heart. That sounds pretty impressive, right? Well, that is King David. Now we have other examples of the Bible of good people like Noah, for example, or Abraham or Isaac or Jacob, for example, or even Moses. Moses, who offered to give up his own eternal life if the people would be forgiven of their sins that they didn’t even deserve to be forgiven of.This was a very humble man. Matter of fact, the Bible says Moses was the most humble man that ever existed on the face of the earth, other than maybe Jesus Christ. But David, who committed adultery, killed the husband of the person he committed adultery with.He had more than one wife. He kind of used vengeance all the time against his enemies. And he’s a man after God’s own heart. But when you really study the life of King David, King Solomon, his son, or King Saul, his predecessor, what you had in each case were people who were from very poor origins, not Solomon, but David and Saul. They were very humble people. They were very, they revered God with all their being. They were actually started out being as good as they could be. But what happened was with all the adulation, with all the cheers, and all of the, you know, Saul killed his thousands and David killed his ten thousands when David had only killed one. And all of this goes to people’s heads, and they become arrogant, and they become belligerent, and they actually start forgetting that it was God that put them there. And then they have to be knocked down a peg or two. And God took the man after his own heart named David, and knocked him down many pegs after he committed adultery with Bathsheba, and killed her husband. And this is how he killed her husband. It’s almost like what happened with Hillary Clinton in the Libya ambassador situation. Putting a guy into a city knowing he was going to get killed maybe, because he maybe was going to come out before the election and say something not very good for Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama in 2012. Benghazi affair I’m talking about. So with David, with Uriah the Hittite, who was Bathsheba’s husband, he told his commander of his armies to make sure that this brave soldier, and he was a very brave man, and a very loyal man to David, and a very loyal person to God. So he told him to make sure that he puts Uriah in the very heat of the battle out front of all the other soldiers, leading them into battle. Because he was such a brave man, and he knew that he would follow that order to the death, which he did.And then he tells his chief of staff, you could call him, or his head general, after the battle begins, then have all the other soldiers back up and run away, and leave him there alone so he gets killed. That’s how Uriah met his death. I think someday in the resurrection, there’s going to be a reckoning a little bit between Uriah the Hittite and maybe David.I’m not sure about that. I guess when you made it through your resurrection, and you’re a spiritual being like God, you’ll be more forgiving and more understanding. But I’ll tell you right now, if I was Uriah’s husband, and I somehow survived that attempt, and I found out all about it, I would not be a man that was so pro-David after that affair. But he was still a man after God’s own heart, according to the Bible. And the Bible doesn’t lie. But what you’re seeing with David, is what I’m trying to say you’re seeing with Donald Trump, what you’re seeing with David is a man who started out with God, I think ended his life back with God after he was punished by God.And I’ll tell you in a minute here, after this next break, how he was punished by God, and by the end of his life was back serving God, the way God wanted him to be. And that is why King David has all of these adulations from God, and will be the king of the whole nation of Israel during the millennium, when he’s resurrected from the dead. So the Bible is full of stories of people. They’re not perfect. People who can start out good, turn out bad, or start out bad, turn out good, or start out bad, turn out good, and end up bad again. There’s all kinds of ways that people kind of mess up their lives. And God uses the Bible to tell us it can happen to us as well. I’ll be right back. Hi, Bob Barney again for The Plain Truth today. This is a program that is on theplaintruth.com. Every day you can listen to our broadcast, what I have to say, what I think about things, how I try to show what God thinks about today’s news, and if it fits in prophecy or not. Plus we put up ever the points of view. We have a lot of YouTube videos. We also have some entertainment programs we put up, and we also have Sabbath day studies, all on The Plain Truth today broadcast, brought to you by theplaintruth.com. Go there every day. Thank you very much. Well, the story here with David and Uriah, and the story we have to take even with Donald Trump, is that God is showing us, even through the heroes of the Bible, that people can turn bad.God can put somebody in power and then wish he didn’t do so. And I said this before with King Saul. God picked King Saul to be king of Israel. He was the very first king of Israel. And within no time, Saul found himself at odds with God’s plans and started doing things based on his own ego and his own arrogance. And God makes the statement to his prophet Samuel. So what results in this, God makes this statement to the prophet Samuel, I regret that I ever made Saul king. Yes, God is regretting a decision that God made because the person turned out to allow their human nature to overtake their sanity of following the right way that God instructed him to do. I say this is going on with Donald Trump right now.I still believe, and I will believe unless I’m proven elsewise, that that bullet that was fired at Donald Trump, and I don’t believe it was that kid on top of the roof, by the way, but that’s another story. But that bullet, if it had killed Donald Trump, the whole world would be different today. But God made sure that he turned when he did. This was not planned. And the shooter ended up just hitting his ear, where if he did not turn to look at that chart, that bullet would have been right into his brain and he would have been probably instantly. And that was what was supposed to happen. And if the deep state was behind it, if the government people or CIA was behind it, or the Democratic Party or other people, maybe other people in around the world, maybe Muslims or maybe Russia, who knows. But if that was the case, Donald Trump was saved by God. And I do believe that. And Donald Trump believed it. And I still think he probably does believe it. Unfortunately, he also believes because God saved him.And of all the cheers and how people follow him, no matter what he does, it also leads to this arrogance. Oh, God saved me. I’m an important person.I can do no wrong. And when that happens, guess what? God can say, I wish I never made Donald Trump president. I wish I didn’t stop that bullet. And you might be mad at me for saying that, but God can be very tough on people. I never forget one time when I went to visit Governor Ted Armstrong, and I said, I think God was calling me. And he said, well, if God is calling you, I feel bad for you because God is not easy on the people that he calls and that he loves. It wasn’t easy to be Abraham. It wasn’t easy to be Jacob and live in the way he did. It wasn’t easy to be King David and watching, and this is where I’m finishing the story with King David, I didn’t forget yet, uh, what he had to watch.God said, after he committed adultery with Uriah, I mean with Sheba and killed Uriah, her husband, he said, there will be division within your own family. And you will, what you did in secret, sleeping with a married woman will be done to you in public. And what ended up happening is that his own son ran King David off his throne, forced him as a 65 year old man to run into the wilderness to hide from his own son, who then took some of David’s wives in public on top of the palace and raped them that everyone could see them being raped by him to show his power over his father, David.Do you think David really enjoyed that whole situation? You think he remembered what he did to Uriah the Hittite? Do you think he felt some remorse and you think he was humbled by the living God for what happened to him? Because you can be one of God’s favorites, but you can also find yourself at odds with God’s will. And God will punish you harder if he has called you, then he will punish the average person because God, as Garner Tedd pointed out, and I agree, God is harder on the ones he expects more out of, and he’s much harder than some people ever want to believe. They want to believe in this Betty Bye Jesus who forgives you no matter what you do.That’s just not the God of the Bible and is not Jesus Christ of the Bible. And unfortunately too many people listen to what their pastor or their minister or what their rabbi tells them instead of what the Bible actually says about these people. You know, Jesus Christ is coming back to this earth to set up a kingdom. He’s not coming back to this earth to set up a church. He’s coming back to set up a worldwide kingdom and he’s going to rule it, excuse me, he’s going to rule it with a rod of iron. He’s not going to rule it with a peace pipe. He’s not going to have a democracy. You’re not going to go to the polls Tuesday and vote for Jesus to be ruler of the world. It’s not going to be your choice. You’re going to either follow his ways, his laws, and his statutes, or he’s going to kill you. He’s going to execute you. He’s going to be worse on you than Donald Trump is on these Venezuelan sailors. And that’s what’s going to happen to people who just simply do not want to obey or listen to God. But what I’m trying to say in this program here is I am afraid that even people of God that God protects and God wanted or made sure was elected president can turn from their ways when arrogance gets in the way between them and their creator, in this case, who saved their life and kept a bullet from going through their brain. So all I have to say is I am worried about all of the things that I am seeing.I am worried about these ever-Trumpers who, no matter what Donald Trump does, they have no problem with it because that kind of mindless following of a person is going to lead them into following a dictator, an evil beast-like dictator, and take away all of their liberties and their freedoms. And even if a person starts out right, with all of this mindless following of that person, you can actually turn that person into a monster who normally maybe wouldn’t be a monster. And that’s the problem, and that’s what this show is about today, about how I fear that this is a lost administration, and it continues to get more and more lost, and it’s going to lose its support among most people.Donald Trump’s got a 36 percent approval rating right now. You might not want to believe the polls, but I talked to a lot of people who voted for this person who is very disgruntled by what they see. So it’s not just me, it’s a lot of people.I don’t think he’s going to come back from this. He could, but I think they’re going to lose the election next year to the Democrats, both House and maybe Senate, and that’s going to be the nail in the coffin of the Trump second presidency. He will end up having, in my opinion, because of his own actions, two failed presidencies. That’s awful when you think about it, because he had the chance of being a very great president. He really did. Well, that’s the show for the Friday wrap-up.Tomorrow again is the Sabbath. We have a Sabbath show is going to be up, and that show is going to be a video called the 70 Weeks Prophecy, and it’s by a Sabbath-keeping church. It’s going to talk about the 70 Weeks Prophecy and the announcement of when the Messiah would appear, who appeared right on time. And then the p.m. show, 7-11 p.m., the entertainment show is going to be an audio short story written by John Steinbeck, very famous man, called The Snake, and that’s 7-11 tomorrow evening for the Entertainment of the Week show. We always do that on Saturday evenings, the Sabbath evening. So that’s the Sabbath day tomorrow. We hope everybody learns about the Sabbath and begins to follow the Sabbath, because that is the day that God separated for man to hold holy, not Sunday. And then I hope that we will have a Sunday show as well. I don’t know what it’s going to be at this time.I try to make one timely and pick it around Sabbath day itself. And we’ll be back here Monday with another show, and I’ll be doing these shows from Florida for the next three weeks. And until then, Bob Barney for The Plain Truth Today, brought to you by theplaintruth.com, wishing everyone a safe and happy weekend, and a blessed Sabbath day.
Bye-bye.
