Hi, this is Bob Barney with the Plain Truth Today broadcast and you probably know who you are.Do you have a problem with today’s computer age? Do you have a problem dealing with online companies or the government or you name it your doctor’s office and you have to go through a series of pushing buttons and getting a robot who answers your questions and they even give herBank of America calls her, I think, Erica, like you’re really talking to a real person when all you’re talking to is a machine who is not a real person but masquerading as a woman named Erica who’s going to answer your questions and when you ask a question, a very simple question, it doesn’t understand it and wants to know this and wants to know that and you have to keep saying, like, do you do this like I do? You hear the Erica speaking to you and you say, customer service. What do you really need? Customer service.

What is your customer service? Did you customer service? Okay, we’ll get you a polite person. Do you go through that? Because I go through that. I’m a businessman.

I go through this all day long. You know, what I used to be able to do in three hours a day takes me five to six hours a day just to get through the machines to get to talk to somebody who can actually solve a problem because machines never solve a problem. They, you know, you want to be told by these companies who want to replace workers with machines that this is better for you.

It’s going to save you money but how does it save you money when you spend two, three hours trying to make a phone call that if somebody answered the phone, they could answer in five minutes and if I believe everybody listening to me has this experience and this problem with dealing with modern businesses and government and just everything today is trying to get through this artificial intelligence and it’s not and it shouldn’t be called artificial intelligence. It should be called artificial stupidity because that’s really what’s going on here. They’re making you feel like you’re a stupid idiot.

You can’t get questions answered. You can’t get anything done properly and you go on and on trying to talk to a robot, to a machine who just simply is not programmed to understand what you really need. You need to have a person and this gets me to this idea and you see this a lot.

You see this a lot with conspiracy theorist people. I always say I’m really not a conspiracy theorist but I do believe there are conspiracies but you get these people that are so afraid of big brother and I have a section of the truth. We call big brother.

There’s no two ways about it. The government today, the government, especially under this administration, is trying to turn this country from a democratic republic into a dictatorship where the police state, where the Gestapo for Biden is just the FBI. The FBI goes and does Biden’s business for him and if you talk against him or you find yourself being investigated or worse yet thrown in jail for showing up on January 6th in Washington DC or just saying you were going to even though you didn’t and you still end up in jail.

That’s what’s happened. Not much is said about it but that’s what’s happened. But here’s the biggest problem that I have with government knowing about your business.

It’s not that they really are going to know about your business. They are collecting so much information on you that the information they’re collecting is absolutely worthless. I don’t think people realize this.

I have a smartphone. I have an iPhone and everyone says, which is true, the iPhone’s never really shut off. They always know where you’re at.

You have this iPhone shut off but it still is tracing you and it’s copying your movements and doing what you need to do. You make a conversation about a certain product and all of a sudden you get on the internet and that product shows up in an ad. Well, that came from your iPhone or so you think and it probably did.

But then how smart is it really? How smart is this artificial intelligence? Because I have an iPhone, a brand new one in fact, and I go to a Home Depot app and I want to look up a particular item from my house and the first thing it says is I’m living in Chicago because my phone constantly defaults that I’m in Chicago and I’m in Virginia. How does it make such a mistake if it’s tracking me so damn good? Maybe the problem is it’s over tracking you. It’s got so much information it gets confused and artificial intelligence constantly gets confused.

This is how people can end up on terror watch lists that never did anything wrong in their life. Now some end up on terror watch lists because they are an enemy of the current administration and that’s a purposeful thing but many end up on watch lists by pure mistakes of AI or I should say artificial disintelligence or stupidity as I said earlier because there is so much information on you that it gets confusing. Every time you go to a grocery store and you buy what you buy with a credit card, your credit card knows everything you bought.

That store is recording what you bought. You bought a lot of steak and you bought a lot of red meat especially and a lot of high fat items and guess what that you have a rewards program from your grocery store. You think it’s great you know they give you a discount because you sign upyour name and it records everything that you buy and it helps you you know rebuy things and youthink this is really great but you don’t realize they’re selling that same information to your health insurance company which knows what you’re eating, what you’re doing, what they consider a bad lifestyle and what happens is that all of a sudden your insurance rates go up and you don’t even know why.

So yes there’s a lot of troubles with this artificial intelligence going on especially when it makes mistakes. You know you may be a vegetarian which you know I don’t believe in vegetarianism but you may be a vegetarianism a vegetarian and you may not eat any meat but you may go to the grocery store and buy meat for your next door neighbor. He might give you a list that he wants to buy some scotch, he needs some some prime rib and he wants to have some eggs, he wants to have some whole milk and he wants to have cottage cheese.

Well it’s going on your record and so your insurance company doesn’t know that you’re a vegetarian. They think you’re a heart attack waiting to happen according to their rules and regulations. As you can see the trouble is when they’re recording everything you do and buy and say and just in general lifestyle oftentimes because of this artificial stupidity of these machinesthey really don’t know what’s going on in your life and so they assume they know what’s going onin your life and all of a sudden you are paying for things in higher premiums maybe in insurance or automobile higher insurance.

You’re paying for things that you don’t even realize where they’re getting this information from. It’s pretty scary and the last thing we need to have is a government who thinks they’re smarter than you are because they do already and look at the result. The government is probably run by the most stupid people on the face of this earth especially the American government.

If you are in the American government most likely you are totally uninformed of how the average person in America lives because you are you are living in a lifestyle that’s based on what Washington D.C. thinks the average American should do. You have a higher standard of living. You make more money.

You don’t have any effort whatsoever to have customer satisfaction because the customer is really your enemy. You don’t need to do anything for the customer and in fact you can make or break that customer. He’s not a customer at all.

He’s really in a way your servant and you’re just some bureaucrat deciding life or death on people based on your prejudices and there’s nothing there to stop them from doing this to you and this is the problem when government collects information and gives it to a handful of people to decide your fate. America has turned over to our government all of its information, all of its secrets, all of its ideas and it’s being turned around against us and so I’m not worried about Big Brother knowing too much about me, knowing what I do. I’m more worried about them making mistakes based on erroneous artificial intelligent machinery that tells the government that I’m doing things that I am not.

You know if you send $250 on your credit card to the NRA, the credit card is assuming you own a gun. Maybe you don’t own again. Many people probably don’t own guns.

They just want to support the Second Amendment because they want to support the Bill of Rights but the assumption because you sent this money that the credit card makes and it just distributes amongst everybody into the government. I mean the government knows things. We ran a story on the Plain Truth last week about how health insurance companies without a warrant is giving the FBI everything about your personal health.

If the FBI starts to investigate you, they go to your insurance company and they named Anthem and Optima and I forgot the other two that it named. Without a court order, they hand over your records, your blood pressure, your medications you’re on, your lab reports. You know it’s so funny.

Your wife can’t find out anything about you because of the HIPAA laws without your consent but your government can know anything you’re taking, any medication you’re on, whatever your blood pressure is and no one has to have a warrant. That’s what bothers me. What bothers me is this information that the government is getting on us that really are in the hands of bureaucrats who will abuse this right and often so based on erroneous assumptions that artificial intelligenceprovides for them.

You know when they read a report, you know they read a report that’s generated by a computer. It’s printed out and they read it and they believe that it’s 100% accurate because computers never make mistakes, right? That’s what’s going on. So again, how many times do you get on the phone with some company you’re dealing with, they charge the wrong amount on your credit card? Try to rectify that someday.

You know if you’re a businessman and you are running literally maybe 100 to 200 transactions a week on credit cards and if you’re a bigger business and you have employees with credit cards, you might be doing a thousand transactions a week on a credit card and then one mistake on a credit card is wrong. Try to get that rectified in a reasonable amount of time and you will find out you can’t. You will find out that it’s going to be a three-hour mission just to get to somebody and when you get to somebody, chances are, if it’s most companies today, you’re talking to somebody in India that can’t even speak the damn language.

They don’t even, you can’t understand them and they can’t understand you and then you ask for their superior, you get another person from India and they can’t understand you and you can’t understand them and you say, I want to speak to somebody who speaks English. I want to speak to an American. You don’t get it.

They slam the phone down on you. You get nowhere. You have no recourse.

No recourse whatsoever if there’s an error on your credit card except you’re dealing with a company that maybe has Americans that can handle your problem and there’s a few out there that still do. I like to think that I run a company that you still can talk to a decision maker, but for the most part, we are stuck in a modern society with all kinds of bogus, absolute bogusintelligence that is really disinformation. It’s stupidity.

It’s just mind-boggling and it makes you really mad that you spend all day long accomplishing nothing and what really needs to be done doesn’t get done by the end of the day and so you take your work home with you and you take your problems home with you and we wonder why people’s blood pressure is up. We wonder why people are stressed out all the time. Well, maybe it’s a lot to do with this modern age that’s not very modern at all.

It’s really regressive. It’s treating you like a number. It’s treating you like a digit and it gives you no respect.

Machines don’t respect you and most of the bureaucrats, when you get to them, don’t respect you as well and that’s where we find ourselves today and if it continues and we don’t get back to some old-fashioned, common-sense solutions of having people handle things instead of having machines do everything for us, then we need to watch some of these old Twilight Zone movies or TV shows from the 1950s and 60s. Many of those Twilight Zone shows, it’s going to be New Year’s Day here coming soon and usually the Sci-Fi Channel has a Twilight Zone marathon, at least they used to on New Year’s Day. You need to watch some of these Rod Serling Twilight Zones and see how he predicted back in 1960 what the world would be like run by computers, what the world would be like run by dictators, what the world would be like when liberty is lost, what the world will be like when books are burned and people can’t express their ideas without running into the state.

There are numerous good Twilight Zone shows that really go over this and I would recommend you watching a few of these and see 70 years ago, 60 years ago, how many people foresaw what we’re going through today. Maybe they weren’t prophets of God but they sure understood the future, at least the immediate future of the next 50 years and what was going to happen with robots and machinery taking the place of people and taking the heart out of government and taking the heart out of business and taking the spirit out of being a real person and that’s what’s going on today. So I really do wish we could take a breath and we could go back and we could start repositioning ourselves and understanding that we need to stop and smell the roses sometimes and to treat customers like they were worth something and not that they’re just a nuisance to deal with and hopefully this will happen but I’m afraid it’s not going to happen in my lifetime.

When you’re really going to notice the difference is when that big EMP, that electric magnetic pulse either from the sun or from a nuclear bomb strikes and all your cell phones are dead, all your computers are dead, your cars that run on computers are dead, your electric system grid falls down and your grocery stores shut down, all the lights turn off in your home, then you’regoing to understand just what this modern world has brought you because it’s going to bring youdeath and destruction.
