Hi, this is Bob Barney with the Plain Truth short 7:11 minute program. I wanted to finish up with something we were talking about earlier, about Donald Trump, propaganda, and The Plain Truth as I had run out of time.

I get to talking about other things…sometimes delving a little deeper into the facts or where I’m coming from, and sometimes I run out of time while I am making important points. I just wanted to have a short show here to explain what I mean about the idea of the propaganda that is coming from the so-called MAGA Republicans right now. Specifically, about that Donald Trump won a mandate when it is just simply not the plain truth!

And I always give this example:

When you’re flying on an airplane, and lately this might make a lot of sense, and all of a sudden, a disaster strikes, and you think you’re going to crash. One thing you do not need is a pilot and crew who get on the plane speaker who says, I am the greatest pilot on the face of the earth, and I can land this thing, and I’ll save every one of you…and then can’t do it. Therefore, the plane crashes and kills you or maims you and puts you in a horrible condition for the rest of your life.

What you do need is a pilot who is the most skilled, who knows what he’s doing while everyone is afraid of what’s happening, who calms the passengers down and gets on the intercom and says, I’m going to do everything I can do to save this aircraft, I understand what’s going on, and please pray for me. That’s the pilot you want to have in a precarious situation like that, who then ends up landing the plane safely where no one gets hurt, and everyone walks off.

Well, that is the pilot that I want.

I don’t want a boastful pilot who tells me that they are the greatest pilot that ever existed and cannot do what they say they can do. I want a pilot who trusts in God, who trusts in what they have been taught, who trusts in their experience because they are very experienced if they’re a good pilot. When crises come, they handle it in a very cool, methodical way and land the craft and save everybody on board.

Well, that is what I expect from my president…that is what I expect from any leader…that is if I was a soldier, I would expect from the general commanding me. I would expect a rational and a call-on-God leader to help pray and to understand the real truth, the plain truth. The plain truth is, as I pointed out in that other show, Donald Trump did not win a landslide election. He didn’t even win 50 percent. I think it was 49.5 percent of the popular vote. He didn’t win a majority of the big states.

He didn’t win the big states like California or New York, and places like that. Now, I’m not saying he didn’t do a good job. He won, and he did a good job, and he is the president, but he should be honest with the people and say, look, we got there, enough of you voted for me, the majority of you voted for me, the plurality of you voted for me, and I will come and I will do what you voted for me to do. As I understand it, it was to close the border, to stop illegal immigration that’s causing all this crime, and to fix the economy. If Donald Trump came out of the box January 20th with those words, there would be about a 2,000- or 3,000-point gain in the stock market by now, and not a $3,000 loss. Bitcoin would probably be $110,000 by now, and not $95,000. People would not just have hope and change; they would start seeing hope and dollars in their pocket. And that is what we really need coming from this administration. Again, I am for Donald Trump.

I certainly knew that if Kamala Harris became president, she would be worse than Joe Biden could have ever thought of being, and this country would not probably even survive a year before a national bankruptcy, and actually the end of this country as we know it. We need Donald Trump to succeed. We do not need an arrogant propagandist attitude, not seeing the real world.

It is important when you’re a leader to understand the real world. I had a friend of mine who when he was training to be a paint rep in the automotive paint world, his boss said to him, because this person was kind of a B.S’r, it is okay to BS, but don’t start believing in it. Because when you start believing in it, then you become trapped in your own world, and you do not see reality. And when you do not see reality, you fail.

So, I am looking at a Congress, many of the MAGA Republicans, not all of Congress, there are a lot of congressmen out there that see what’s happening. I can glean, I listen to the news, and I can glean what’s really happening here.

A lot of these congressmen are realizing that things are not like they’re being projected by the Trump administration. But we need to have real leadership. We need to tell the American people where we’re at and what we have to do to get things turned around, to ask them for patience, but give them a plan that is not based on hubris. I’m going to tariff this guy, and I’m going to tax this guy, and I’m going to make Canada a 51st state. The last thing we need is another liberal state, by the way, with two more liberal senators. Just a point, a fact. We need to have the American people listening to a rational explanation of what is going to happen, how we’re going to get out of the mess Joe Biden put us into in the Democrats, and how we’re going to move forward. The American people will support that wholeheartedly. Ronald Reagan did it. Nobody communicated better than Ronald Reagan in my lifetime, and probably in the lifetime of any politician that held the office of the presidency. Ronald Reagan was the great communicator. When he gave a speech and he told the American people why he was doing what he did, he kept it simple, and he kept it factual, and he did not BS the American people listening to him. That’s why he was loved, and that’s why he succeeded, and that’s why he had two consecutive terms, and no one has been as successful as Ronald Reagan.

Those are my two points for today. This is Bob Barney with The Plain Truth Today saying thank you for listening. I do appreciate you. We’ll see you again tomorrow. Until then, bye-bye.
