The Lie About Electric Vehicles and About the Green New Deal and Climate Change.
Hello, this is Bob Barney with The Plain Truth, and I want to talk today about a subject that people talk about all the time and because of this I do think most Americans are aware of this. I don’t think I’m going to be bringing you information that the average sane American does not understand.
I’m going to give you some facts and you can find these on The Plain Truth’s main page, by the way. We have a story about just how much energy it takes to charge a Tesla or an electric vehicle for 12 hours. Do you know how much electricity it takes in 12 hours for just one vehicle? You could provide electricity for 106 homes for the 12 hours of electricity. I don’t think that many people know that fact but it takes as much electricity to charge an electric vehicle in the same period of time that you could give all the electricity needed to electrify 106 average homes in America.

That’s what we’re going to talk about on today’s Plain Truth. The nonsense about electrifying America’s cars, again, and I believe most people already understand this, but they may not really have the statistics or the particulars about it.
4:34 We do not have anywhere near the electricity we would need to handle the EV mandates in this country. Adding up our nuclear power plants, coal-fired power plants, windmills, and sun power plants, we do not make enough electricity in this country to electrify even a tenth of the vehicles on the road, not even one-tenth! We would have to produce a hundred times more electricity than we do today just to charge all of the American cars yet your government, your Biden administration, is telling you by 2030 or 2035 they want every car in America to be electrified. They know you cannot electrify 150 million vehicles. It’s impossible.
So, then what’s their motivation? You know, there is a motivation here and believe it or not, it’s not good.
The motivation is to stop you from driving.
They don’t want you to have a car….and why do they want you to have a car? Because the basic principle of freedom and liberty is the idea that you have a right to travel unrestricted wherever you want to in the country.
What made America great was mobility.
6:34 If you didn’t like this city, you could move to the next city. If you didn’t like this state, you could move to another state. Well, your government is trying to take that ability away from you. They don’t want you to flee the northern liberal states to Florida and to the southern more Republican states, because if you flee those states, they’re going to lose their representation in the House, and they will lose the House forever. Really what they want to do is to make sure you cannot travel and the best way to do that is take away your car. There is not a scientist alive, and I don’t care who that scientist is and what he is trying to tell you, that doesn’t know that it is impossible to produce the electricity needed to electrify hundreds of millions of vehicles in this country alone.
Magnify that around the world and it becomes even a worse task. They don’t want nuclear power plants. They don’t want coal-powered power plants. The sun’s not going to do it. Wind power is not going to do it and they’re not going to build a thousand new power plants that would be needed just to do the cars alone, never mind the houses.
So what’s going to happen?
You’re going to lose the right to have a car. You’re going to be treated worse than the average Soviet Union citizen of the 1940s and 1950s, who didn’t have that many cars. Limit mobility and you limit freedom. It’s that simple. So when you go to your politicians or you go to the people, your neighbors maybe, who believe in the Green New Deal and they believe in global warming, which is a religion, and you ask them, where are you going to get the electricity to run your car?
There’s another story that we put on the Plain Truth that really came from World Net Daily about a person who, I think he had one or two Tesla’s which he bought, and he put in the power stations at his home. He found out in a several months’ time that his power bill went from $140 a month to $1,000 a month. He said, with what little I drive, I wasn’t even spending $300 a month on gas.
8:01 There’s another story we had up last week on the Plain Truth. You know what the average cost per gallon, if you did it per gallon of charging your vehicle would be? If you converted the electricity into gasoline cost, it would cost $17 a gallon. Or I should say gas would have to be $17 a gallon in order to be the same cost that you’ll pay to charge your electric vehicle. Think about that. You don’t think your politicians and your business leaders do not know this fact? You don’t think that they’re so stupid, because they’re not, that they haven’t figured all this out? Or do you think there’s a master plan and you’re not part of that plan? They are, but you’re not. Again, the Plain Truth is you’re being deceived. You’re being lied to.
One of the things that really changed my life some 45 years ago was when I came to the realization that almost everything I was taught and almost everything that I thought was true tended to be a lie…tended to be propaganda. I realized that it was propaganda from your government or from the cereal companies trying to sell you sugar in the form of cereal, or big pharma trying to sell you drugs you didn’t need, namely vaccines that kill you.
You find out that the motivation behind what is going on with this climate change nonsense is not freedom.
It’s totalitarian rule. It’s communism.
It’s to take away your right to your individualism.
When I was going to school in 1974, I remember the climate activists were claiming we were going to go into a winter. We were going to go into global cooling. That the earth, because of all the pollution and all the smog caused by coal and gasoline and cars and America mainly, was going to blacken out the sun and the earth would deep freeze and that as far south as Mexico, it would be as cold as the Antarctic. They said that would happen by the year 2000.
10:23 There was Time Magazine and Newsweek and all the big magazines at the time covering the story of how by the year 2000, global cooling was going to probably destroy most of modern civilization. It never happened. In fact, we were in the process of a warming trend at the time because the earth goes through cooling and warming trends and that’s science. You can look this up. If you could do enough research, you can find out that there has been enough climate data for at least a thousand or more years to see we’ve had many ice ages and we’ve had many heat ages.
For example, in 1800, by 1803 with the Louisiana Purchase, and I believe this was a blessing and a proof of God, but we’ll get into that in another show, but in 1800, the northern hemisphere went from a cooling trend. We had gone through 300 years of cooling, which caused the Great Potato Famine in Ireland and disease and pestilence in Europe, the Black Plague, everything from cooling, people living closer together, rats coming inside, stuff like that, spreading disease. But by 1803, America entered into, in the northern hemisphere, but it’s mainly America entered into a global warming. This is before coal power plants and before cars on the highway. But we went through a period where the temperatures literally rose enough to make America the breadbasket of the world. Land that normally would not produce crops because it would be too cold, all the way up as far as South and North Dakota, now became very easily conducive to raise wheat, corn, crops that in the cold ages would never grow in time.
So, America became the breadbasket for the world in the 1800s. Our society grew in leaps and bounds, our wealth grew in leaps and bounds, and our status in the world grew to where we became a superpower by 1915, all because of global warming that had nothing to do with man. The earth is like a body. Think of the earth almost like a reptile. You know how a reptile cannot control its heat and it has to move into the sun and then it’s got to move into the shade in order to maintain its heat. Well, the earth is in between a reptile and a mammal. It controls itself. When it gets too warm, it finds a way to cool itself. When it gets too cool, it finds a way to warm itself. We learned that in the 80s with what’s called El Niño and El Niña effects, where one gives you cold, wet winters and snowy winters and one gives you warm, rainy winters in America and around the world.
13:28 Real scientists who understand the data, who understand the history of world climate, understands that the earth goes through periods of warming and cooling and during times of cooling, there’s a lot of disease, there’s a lot of famine because things don’t grow well. In fact, if you really know your history, the idea of global warming is actually good for mankind because it makes things grow better in places where it would not normally grow that well. And so more people can be fed.
So, it’s a blessing to have global warming. However, there is something that’s happened in the last 25 years that’s not being reported. The only person that I know that even mentioned this that had an audience was Rush Limbaugh. He mentioned this, and I knew this from living in Florida, that the American continent at least was actually cooling again by the 1980s. Not warming, cooling.
How do you know this?
14:45 Well, Disney World in Florida is located in a county called Orange County, Florida. It’s in the northern, towards the northern part of Florida, mid-state up to the north. It was the Citrus Belt of America for a hundred years. That’s why it’s called Orange County. You’re hard-pressed to find an orange growing in Orange County today. Why? Because in the last 50 years or so, Florida has actually had more deep freezes than it ever had in its history since man was there, or English or Western man was there, raising oranges. The Orange Belt, the Citrus Belt, has consistently moved south of Orlando, south all the way down now, even down by the Tamiami Trail and down almost west of Miami, Homestead, and places like that, where the deep freeze doesn’t happen yet. So, the Citrus Belt in Florida, because we have been in global cooling, has actually moved south. You can look that up. You’ll see that’s true. So actually, America has been going in a global cooling stage in parts of the country. Other parts of the country has been going through a warming trend because the earth, like a body, self-regulates temperature. And depending which way that temperature goes causes droughts, causes floods, causes frost on crops that kill them.
It’s all part of nature. It’s all part of what has always happened.
You have scientists who are really tools of politicians trying to promote the idea that it’s man-made global warming, and they have to take away your right of individualism, your right to liberty and pursuit of happiness in order to save the world. They’re indoctrinating your children in school of this nonsense, and they’re indoctrinating you. You can’t watch a show, a nature show, that doesn’t talk about global warming destroying parts of nature. I was watching one the other day, and it was showing this glacier in Switzerland. It’s the lowest it’s been in 150 years, and in another 100 years it will be totally gone. Wait a minute, you mean 150 years ago it was almost totally gone? That’s what they told you, but they said it in a way you didn’t even understand what they said. They lied by telling you the truth, but they did it in a way that you think it hasn’t happened before, but it happened 150 years ago in the great warming trend.
16:10 You see, you have to be wary of where you get your news. You have to be wary of what people are telling you. You have to ask yourself, do they have an agenda that makes them bend the truth? And they do. Most likely somebody is paying for them to say what they’re saying. Their mouth is bought and paid for, and they just don’t tell you that. They don’t tell you that certain companies benefit from windmills, from solar energy. Some companies are benefiting, and they’re the ones paying people to lie. And it’s very easy to get a scientist to lie, because most scientists work for universities, and they live off of grants, and their money that they make is off the grants they can get. And if grants are situated in a way where they pay you for what they want to hear, that is what you’re going to hear, and that’s not necessarily the truth.
So be wary of who you listen to. Again, that’s why I think the plain truth is a good place to go. We don’t take anybody’s money. You can’t sponsor anything on the plain truth. You can’t even send us money. This is all out of our pocket. We’re trying to bring you the plain truth as we see it. But the one thing you can be sure when you’re listening to it, if we’re wrong, we’re sincerely wrong, but no one’s paying to get their message across to us. We don’t accept it. So you’re at least listening to honest people trying to open up your minds, open up your eyes, so you can research things for yourself. We don’t want you to be a vegetable. We don’t want you to listen to us and just listen to what we have to say and follow us blindly, like the scientists and the politicians want you to do. We want you to do research, but you got to realize, even when you’re doing research, half the research you find on the internet is false. You got to really, really be smart. You got to read things with a perceptive mind. You have to analyze things. You have to tear apart scenarios, like I gave you the example in Switzerland. It’s the lowest level this glacier has been for 150 years ago.
Well, it was that way 150 years ago, but they glossed over that. They told you the truth, but they did so in a way that you didn’t even hear it. And that is what’s happening with this nonsense called global warming and this Green New Deal. This Green New Deal is just an effort to take away your rights, to take away what you have, to take away your freedom. Hopefully, under Donald Trump and company, we will reverse the trends that we have been going down or the pathway we’ve been going down for the last 30, 40 years of self-destruction based on a lie, because global warming is a lie.

18:23 It’s about time we stand up and let our government know and scientists know we’re not going to take it anymore. Donald Trump is basically doing that right now. And it’s welcome news to me. It really is. Hopefully, we have a reprieve from all of this nonsense, and it will help little businesses like my business and your business of your businesspeople. All of these laws that was pushed through in these last 30, 35 years based on a scientific lie was just to control you and to take away any of the rights that God gave you to have. They did it based on a scientific lie and it’s time that we realize that, and we do not want to go the way we’ve been going.
Hopefully, like I said, for at least the next four years, and hopefully, Congress can keep the Republicans in power in 2026. If not, then we’re going to have the same problem all over again with impeachments and all of this nonsense and all of Trump’s agendas will just go down the tubes. That would be a crying shame, to say the least.
I will say that if we can get four years, and maybe if Vance or other like-minded Republicans can be elected into the House, the Senate, and the presidency, in the next four years, after the next four years, and we can have more time, then I believe my generation might last and hand it down to the next generation to try to save the United States from its doomed failure that God predicts will happen to this country someday. Yes, in the future I am talking about when the Antichrist arrives in Europe and America becomes captive to the West European Holy Roman Empire, which is coming, which we talk about all the time in The Plain Truth.

22:01 Hi, I’m back again for the last few minutes of this broadcast about the nonsense of global warming of electric vehicles, and I’m glad to see that the electric vehicle mandates are going to end. There is just absolutely no evidence and no even sensibility that electric vehicles can help with the environment or can help with power or energy consumption or anything of the like, because the truth of the matter is, the battery-operated car is not a very efficient way to utilize energy. I get a laugh at the cartoon I see quite often on Instagram and Facebook, where it shows some guy with a little moped bike plugged into a wall, and he thinks he’s saving the world, and that wall is connected to an electric line that’s connected to a big electric line, which is connected to a coal-powered power plant, making the power so he can charge his iPhone or his bicycle or whatever little electric things he has. He’s actually using more electricity when he uses his home computer and his iPhone and his other gadgets that take batteries than he even realizes, not to mention what happens to those poor kids in China that have to mine all of these rare earth elements that go into these lithium-ion batteries, which are dangerous. You can’t dispose of them properly. They are polluting our dumps.
Just the whole idea, if you stand back and you read up on it, you did some really good searches on the fallacy of the electric vehicle, and if the electric battery operated anything, then you would understand where you need to be looking at for your future. And the future, by the way, is nuclear energy. Fusion would be the greatest thing in the world, that’s the power of the sun, but until we can get there, fission is the next best thing. I always say, and I’ve said this in other broadcasts, that we need to have a power grid based on a nuclear power plant, not on coal, not on wind, not on solar, but on nuclear power. France did it for years. They’ve done well by it. They can power their country. They have no electric shortages because of it. But we in America, we listen to politicians, and we listen to special interest groups that do not have your best interest at heart.
Oftentimes, like in the tune of Al Gore, these people are promoting something that they themselves are invested in making money and making a bucket load of money. Al Gore has become a billionaire because of his global warming stance, and yet he lives in some 25,000 square foot monstrous house that uses more power in a year than you will use in probably 20 years and flies around on private jets and flies around all over the world for nonsensical meetings. He puts on more carbon footprint, if you really believe that’s a problem, than probably most other human beings alive. Al Gore probably costs more energy or uses more energy, I should say, than 10,000 people in Africa.
Think about that.
Well, I want to finish off with this global warming nonsense thing by saying I do think we have some hope here with the Trump administration.
26:56 He seems to be picking the right people this time around, and I think we have something to look forward to. I really do hope we have something to look forward to these next four years. It would be great if the American people can see a middle-class growth again. Businesses can take off again. We can become a manufacturing business again. We don’t have to be a consuming business, a consumer-oriented business or a service industry business. We can actually start manufacturing goods and services again in this country. We can develop a very strong, affluent middle class that can rival the middle class that we had in the early 1950s and early 1960s. We can have again a country that leads the world in technology, leads the world in science, real science, not fake science. We can also maybe lead the world in showing how this country is still the answer to the problems of the third and fourth worlds. We are still the answer to all the problems. If we realize there’s a God, we realize we are going to follow God’s laws and God’s principles for this country, and we can be that city on a hill, like we’re supposed to be, like our forefathers envisioned us that we would be.
I just want to end by saying that I think that possibly we are seeing a major turn in the future transformation of an America that maybe will not collapse in our lifetimes, and that would be nice. I understand what the Bible says is the ultimate future of America, but I always say this, and I always end these shows with this final word of hope, and that is the things that the Bible predicts will happen to this country, because we are lost Israel, and we are going to go into captivity someday, and there is going to be an Antichrist that leads the western world out of Germany or Europe somewhere, maybe Italy, but we don’t have to have it in our lifetimes if we just go back to God, we believe in God, and we believe in ourselves, and we elect leaders who also believe in us. What a thought.
