When Jesus was brought before the Roman governor Pontius Pilate to be judged, Pilate asked the Jewish leaders, “Should I crucify your King?”, and their response like many ministers today, “We have no King but Cesar”.

Hi, this is Bob Barney with another edition of The Plain Truth Today Podcast, discussing false Christianity and what we should be looking out for in these times.

The Jewish leaders of that time had already united themselves with the state, the Roman government, and as we can see form the crucifixion of Christ, they not only relied on the state’s power making it their King instead of God…the Jews were also able to influence the state to do their bidding for them…things they couldn’t do, they could get the state to do; much like today.

Pilate wanted to set Jesus free. He was a bit in fear of the man because his wife had a dream that obviously came from God, that Jesus was not to be harmed. She had told Pilate, “Do not harm this righteous man”. However, the influence of the Jews which was supposed to be God’s chosen people, or at least they like to tell everyone sanctimoniously, upon the state force Pilate to send Christ to His death. The sad fact is that the very same thing is taking place today between the churches and the state, the modern world.

When the plandemic called COVID came along, the false Christian churches of today committed the same sin of the Jews of old. Think about it, these so-called messengers of Christ told us that they believed they had no King but Cesar. These churches leaders united with the federal government throughout the western world that we must close our churches and take the vaccine and wear face masks and be apart from each other. Pardon me? I thought we believed in the true God of the Bible, you know, that God to tells us He is the God of healing? Can a virus like Covid survive in the presence of God Almighty? These phony ministers obviously believe it can.

Here is another example, churches today have united with the government by obtaining tax exempt status’, they received in fact and get money from Uncle Sam. The churches receive aid from the government much like a welfare person. Think about that notion for a moment. We are supposed to rely upon God for all things and not the state. In proverbs God says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and don’t lead on your own understanding in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path”. Then again in Psalms, God say “it is better to trust in the Lord then put your confidence in a man”.

Whatever happened to the separation of church and state I will never know.

Tax exemption really implies that the state accepts these churches as state institutions. Here is what many may not know. The Bible warns us over and over again to be looking out and to avoid and false Christian church. Paul warned Christians almost 1900 years ago when he said that God never sent these men at all…that they are phony. They are trying to fool you into thinking they are Christ’s apostles, he wasn’t surprised, he said even Satan himself can change himself into an Angel of Light. It is no surprise that his servants can do the same and seem like Godly ministers. In the end they will get every bit of punishment their wicked deeds deserve.

Sadly, churches today have become fallen Babylon as you can read in Revelations 14:17-18, by rejecting God’s truths. Jesus told us that these false ministers are fornicating with the Kings of the earth and deceiving the whole earth with her fornication. While the church leaders may proclaim with their mouths that Jesus is the King, their actions say something different. They are saying that they really have no king but Cesar, just like the Jews of old.

I guess today you would call it that they have no King but the United States Federal Government.

Friends, prophesy will be fulfilled. It is time, as God tells us to do, to come out of her, out of Babylon, My People. He means come out of the false churches that claim they are Christian but are not. He says come out of the fallen churches or you should share in her sins.

As the 2024 elections are just a few months away now, we are going to see how many men of God, preachers or whatever they want to call themselves, fathers, pastors, however they want to be addressed, we are going to see if their God is still Cesar, the US government or are they going to follow after the example of Jesus Christ as Paul allowed the sins of the people. It is going to be a fascinating election to say the least. Why? Because watching polls, specifically one yesterday on a Sunday morning show on NBC, it says that Trump is leading Biden by 2 points, which I find shocking, 46 to 44, but when they put in the other candidates, like Kennedy or the other Independant candidates it was still a 42-40 but then the other candidates like Robert Kennedy got 10% and all the others got I think around 2%. It ended up being if an election was today, Trump would win by 42%, Biden would come in 2nd with 40%, Bobby Kennedy JR, third at about 10% and the rest adding up to 4%.

The people on Fox news and Newsmax thought this was great news that Biden is losing in every poll everywhere and in every way with even a third party candidates are taking away from Biden and not Trump…but the thing that I am worried about if these polls are true, and you always have to be suspect, especially NBC’s news polls, but this might have been a true poll which I will explain in a minute, but the problem is if you add up Biden and Kennedy as well as the other third party candidates, 55% of the population is voting against DJT…that should send shock waves and of course the biggest problem is that Trump does under poll so I have to say that right off the bat, I do know this, he does under-poll, but I also think that the shenanigans going on by the MAGA 8 in the Republican Congress is driving a wedge between the working person out there and the Republican Party…and DJT is suffering from that.

DJT is trying to run like a centrist, a conservative populist centrist for the middle class, and the working person. You have to remember; the democrats are always going to get 40% of the vote because 40% of the people do not pay any taxes at all and 32% of the 40% are not even working if you look at the participation rate of unemployment. 62% of the population are actually working and 38% are not, so they are going to vote democrat because they are getting a check from Uncle Sam. You start from the get-go needing to figure out how to get your 51% if there are only two people in the race…you have to realize you have to work from Ground Zero because the Republicans have maybe 30% of voters that would vote for a dead person (the dems have 40%), but DJTJ has an uphill battle, not just because of a stolen election and stolen ballots, that is true, but there are not enough people willing to give the Republicans a chance because they see them messing up.

This is where in my opinion, churches need to stand up.

We have too many church leaders, too many priests out there, pastors, reverends, etc., who really care more about what the government thinks about them then what God thinks about them. They definitely care more about what the people that they minister to think about them rather than what God thinks about them. So, you have a modern day Christian religion which is not Christian in many churches with the exception of, well, let me say this, I am not talking about all churches or fully excluding Sabbath keeping churches, there are many that are very far away from the truth than many modern churches, we will get into that in a moment, but what I want to point out is that there are too many ministers out there who care more about what the government thinks about them as well as their congregation thinks about them rather than what God thinks about them.

The problem there is that people do not want to hear bad news, they want to hear they are doing right even when they are doing wrong. Even people out there who are on their 5th husband or wife, and they think they are perfect with God. They are not being told the truth, The Plain Truth in fact, about what God thinks about divorce and adultery and being remarried and living a lustful life. Everyone is a sinner don’t get me wrong, but we are not supposed to parade our sin, we are supposed to lead by example. The minsters, and I am not one by the way, but they especially are not supposed to be without reproach and tell their congregations exactly what the Bible says and not what the congregation wants to hear.

I want to say something on the side here based on emails from people who listen to the show, and thank God you listen to the show, that brings me joy and am honored that you are listening to the show, that think because I do believe in the Sabbath day and not in Christmas or Easter or Sunday worship or Easter sunrise service because I believe they are pagan, some have written me and have asked if I think that it is an unpardonable sin to not be a Sabbath keeper and a not be a holiday keeping, Christmas denying Christuan. The answer is no.

You have to get right with your God. You do not have to get right with your church, with your pastor, minister or priest, I don’t care what religion you are in or what faith, if you believe that Jesus Christ is God and that He died for your sins and you know that He is coming back to this world to save us from our sins…and you pray to Him and ask Him to forgive you of your sins and forgive others of their sins against YOU, by the way, you cannot forgive someone of their sins against other people as is thought by a lot of people, sins against those who sin against you is the focus of my point, that is Biblical…but the truth is there are many great and good Christians in all of the denominations…there are people in every denomination believe that Jesus is their savior and is the Son of God. They may believe in holidays God doesn’t want them to keep but God reads the heart and knows the mind of those who worship Him. He knows who worships Him and worships Him and wants to please Him. Just because they don’t have all of the particulars down Biblically whether they don’t read the Bible enough or they read a King James version which is so hard to understand…some have been convinced by their church to read the King James and not even the New King James and never the Living Bible or easier to read Bibles because they are told they will be led astray.

If you take doctrine out of the Living Bible, there will be errors, so you need a good concordance and a good King James Bible to cross check some things, but if you want to really understand the Gospel, the Old and the New Testament, there is no better source than an easy-to-read English Bible if you speak English of course, like the New Living Testament, the Good News Bible etc., yes, they make a lot of errors in certain translations but errors that are made are not going to keep you from your reward that God promises you. It will teach you the truth about who Jesus really is. He is the God of the Old Testament by the way, the God of Moses, Abraham, David, Adam and Eve…these people though, if they are sincere and when the time comes and they have to make a decision between their church and Jesus Christ, there are many people in these churches that will choose Jesus Christ. You are seeing a lot of this today I would like to say. Within the Catholic Church even…and you know the position of this show and The Plain Truth…that is that the Babylon mystery religion that is talked about in the Book of Johns Revelation is the Holy Roman Church. This is the end time apostate church that leads its people astray. It will give power to the antichrist that comes out of central Europe or Italy and leads the world into total destruction until Christ returns to save us from ourselves.

I have news for you especially with this latest Pope in Venezuela, Pope Francis, there are many people in the Catholic church, I know many of them and they are very devout, I in no way question their sincerity in the Catholic faith even though I can prove them wrong…but God reads their heart. How do you know this? Because they have a Pope now that they do not respect. This Pope, they realize, is a communist. They realize that this Pope is wrong, and they no longer believe in an infallible Pope which is their church doctrine. These people are willing to separate themselves from the Catholic Church teachings over what they know Christ taught.

Again, I want to make this clear before I go onto the next subject…I am not condemning anyone. If it comes across that way, I sincerely apologize. I am telling you what the Bible says and many times most of the time, the Bible says things that your pastor doesn’t say. The Bible condemns things that your pastor and church leader do and say. If you read the Bible for yourself, you will see that I am correct. These churches are like the synagogues of Satan in the time of Jesus when they handed over their own Messiah to the Romans to be crucified. They had no God but Cesar.

Today, we have to be careful of the modern churches who want to be hip, they want to connect with the people and not be condemning and want to be DEI with woke teachings that God would love gay prostitutes and would wine and dine with transexuals, I do doubt it folks. Would He wine and dine with transexuals that wish they never chose that life and want to straighten out their life? Absolutely. Would He dine with homosexual men or women who know it is a sin and ask Him for help to overcome this condition, absolutely. I know that bothers a lot of people but that is the truth. Jesus came and He said Himself to the sick, that the healthy people do not need a doctor but the sick do, and that He is a doctor to sinners. He would come to people who want to repent. Repent means change direction, go the opposite way and do not continue to try to sin. To ask for the power from Christ to overcome your sin. If you do not admit you are a sinner, you are just like an alcoholic who will not admit that he is one and you have no place with Jesus Christ.

I am talking about the many people out there inside the Babylon churches that are true Christians.

You see this in Revelations and I do not have a Bible in front of me but I believe it is the Revelations 18th or 19th chapter, give it a look and see which one it is, where it says that Babylon has fallen, that is the Catholic Church, that is Rome…there is a phrase in there that God’s angel is talking to the people inside this Catholic Church. It says this is in the tribulation times, not the times we are living in now, but the angel is yelling out in the name of God, “COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE!”. Did you get that? God’s people are inside the Babylon Mystery Religion Whore Church. COME OUT OF HER…MY people. Do not share in her sins it says. Give her, her just desserts, pay her back for the evil she has done. We know right up until the tribulation times that God is going to call people out of the pagan churches because they are Christians still. It is your heart with Christ and the Father that makes you a Christian. It isn’t the rest day that you follow or the holiday you follow, nor the diet that you follow. or the laws that you follow or don’t follow…although those are a requirement and they have not been abolished, I want that to be clear, they are going to be overlooked by Jesus’ Blood. These people can depend on the Blood of Jesus to forgive them for what they did not sincerely know. God does not require us to know things that we do not know.

The Law does. They say ignorance is no excuse for the law, but it is with God. If you sincerely love Christ and are trying to please Christ but you do not know how to and are doing it wrongly and in the wrong church…God is not going to hold that against you…that is very important that you realize that. If you have heard these shows where I seem to be hardnosed or sanctimonious, I am not, I am very down to earth and if you met me, you would know this. I love God with all of my heart. I do not want to see God hurt. I know it hurts God the way we act and the way we do not care about what God thinks about what we are doing. It bothers me, yes. So, sometimes I get emotional, but I will say that God is a loving God and the people that love God have never “screwed up”…they will find a way to Him. To obey Him when the time is right. That is why we see in Revelations, “come out of her, MY people” even inside of that whore church. The mother of all other harlots. The reason the Holy Roman Church is called the mother of all other Harlots and Whores is because all of the protestant religions except for a few have its foundation with the Catholic Church. That is why they all follow Sunday and Easter and Christmas. They don’t follow what is in the Bible, they follow what their church taught them to do when they were still Catholics. You have to remember, Martin Luther who started the first Protestant Church, well, he wasn’t really the first, he is one of the first protestants, Calvin, Tyndale were other ones in England…they broke away from the church but were in the Catholic Church and their doctrines were still based on Catholic theology, so they are the daughters of the whore and are whores themselves. Not everyone inside are whores but are sincere people who follow after Christ. You still have to be aware that these churches came out of the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church has a Pope that is an antichrist. The whole idea of the Pope being supreme and infallible on earth is equating him with Jesus Christ and the POPE IS NOT JESUS CHRIST ON EARTH.

If you think so and love Christ just keep loving Christ because that is your out of this whole situation because God is not happy with these apostate churches. You read Revelations and find it is really serious. You will read to the seven churches that are the true churches of Christ…I guarantee all of them are Sabbath keepers and those that follow the Holy Days and the Ten Commandments and all would be following the dietary laws and Mosaic Law. But He had a problem with all but one of those seven churches. Even Jesus’ own churches founded by Himself have many faults in them and He is not happy as you can see in the beginning of Revelations. He is scolding the true churches of God for not doing what is right and some are too hot, some are too cold, some don’t care…some allow blaspheming, sexual immorality, and He through the prophet John, really goes after these churches. And these are the TRUE churches of God, don’t forget this. He gives them a chance to repent of their sins or he will blot them out of the Book of Life.

So, these are not the churches I am talking about when I talk about the ones that have their King, Satan, or I will say Cesar or the United States government…remember what I said, they care more about what others think of them, what the government thinks about them, what woke business leaders think of them, what the people in their congregation think of them that are cheating on their wives or husbands, and they are not really worried about what God thinks about them.

I think I have an answer as to why.

Frankly, I do not believe many of these ministers actually believe in Jesus Christ as God. There was a study, or a poll done amongst preachers and ministers of God in the 60s and I remember Garner Ted Armstrong quoting this, that one of the quotes from one of the major theologians said, ” I do not know one major well-known theologian who accepts that Jesus Christ came as a man and is now God”. They do not believe in the Bible or what they tell you. They tell you what you want to hear, and they tell you this child like Jesus beddy bye story, but they do not believe…they are too smart, so they think, but they don’t want you to think they don’t believe that because it is a good con game they are keeping in play.

Keep your faith and keep your eye on Jesus. Keep praying to Jesus for wisdom and for what is going to happen to you and to open up your mind and may be listening to something Jesus wants you to hear that you actually listen and start taking a look at what you are doing and question it…and maybe what happened to me 45 years ago will happen to you…that what you thought was fact was merely a lie. That is how I came to go through a long period of time of struggles. Studying the Bible is what I did and getting info and literature from people I trusted, writing about the Bible and not believing what they said but proving to myself that what the Bible said, what God said, was true. That is how I came to believe what I believe today. I am a very different person than I was 45 years ago. I am very happy to be who I am today.

Sometimes, when you are listening to the Word of God outside the Bible, God will have opened your ears to hear The Plain Truth and hopefully you will take that knowledge and study the Word of God and come up with a true understanding of the real Jesus Christ, the real God the Father and the real Church of God.
