2000 years ago, a newscaster that we know of as Jesus Christ warned us about false Christianity. The warning was not against the devil but against false Christianity…about people who come in His name and deceive many.
Many of us do not understand today’s news. We read a newspaper, watch the TV evening news, and we do not understand what that has to do with God. Does God have anything to do with the news today? Unfortunately, too many people think that God is something that is hard to touch, hard to feel, and hard to understand.
They may go to church on Sunday, maybe some go on Saturday, the correct day of the week, which is the Sabbath day, but they really don’t understand God in today’s world. Yet, if they understood just who the United States of America was in biblical prophecy, a lot of the Bible would come alive.
Hello, this is Bob Barney with the Plain Truth Today, and we’re going to talk about how God is in the news, and how God is part of our history, part of our present, and part of our future. You can figure this out if you only know what to look for.
(1:03) Often, I’ve said in previous programs that it seems like we read about the prophecies of the future by the prophets about Edom or Assyria or then Egypt, countries we do know today. I mean, we do not know where Edom is, do we? Yeah, we do, but anyway.
Or Assyria, where are they today?
We also read prophecies about Ethiopia, Egypt, Arabia. Now, we know where those places are today, and of course, there’s a lot of prophecies about Judah, the modern-day land of Israel, the nation of Israel, which is really misnamed because it should be the nation of Judah. The Jewish people do not have a right to the name Israel, but that’s another subject. Maybe we’ll get into a little bit of it today. However, if people only knew that the pages of their Bible are as accurate as any newspaper or any television show that they’re ever going to watch and that believe it or not, the identity of the United States of America is found in the pages of the Bible, so is the identity of Germany, so is the identity of Italy, so is the identity of Italy, I’m sorry, England and Denmark and Finland and Russia and even China and Japan. These nations are mentioned in the Bible.
(2:20) What we don’t understand is in the Bible time when the Bible was written, these nations had other names, and the name for America, for example, as we can prove, is the lost tribe of Israel named Joseph. Now, in the Bible, and I’ve said this many times, but we’ll go over it really quick because there are always new people listening. In the Bible, we see that after King David and King Solomon, King Solomon’s son lost control over the unified 12, and it’s actually 13 tribes of Israel, and the northern 10 tribes, led by the tribe of Joseph, which became two tribes, Ephraim and Manasseh, got mad at the high taxes and the brutal rulership of the Solomonic dynasty, that they demanded that they be treated better. They were found out they would not be, and they left, and they broke away from the nation of the unified nation, or what was called, believe it or not, the United Kingdom, much like the United Kingdom today, and there is a symbolic relationship there. The northern 10 tribes, under the tribe of Joseph, remember Joseph became two tribes, Ephraim and Manasseh, Ephraim being the younger sibling, the 13th tribe, a very important number there, and Manasseh being the older brother, which is Britain, England, the 12th tribe, and that the people of the northern tribes broke away from the south. The southern tribes under Judah are really comprised of Judah, parts of Levi, and parts of Benjamin, and they became known as the nation of Judah.
If you open up any good Bible commentary, you will find out that there is a map of ancient Israel after the separation, and it will show the northern nation of Israel, and it will be called Israel, and it will say the 10 northern tribes, and you will see in Jerusalem, and around Jerusalem, the southern tribe, led by the David dynasty of kings, called Judah. Judah is the name of the Jews. That’s where we get the name Jews from, from Judah.
So the Jewish people have never owned the name Israel.
Israel does not belong to them.
(4:35) They are a tribe of Israel, but back in Genesis, when Jacob is blessing the two sons of Joseph, and those two sons become separate tribes there, and Ephraim becomes the 13th tribe of Israel, he tells those two sons that his name is Israel, and Jacob was renamed Israel by God when they had a struggle one night. Believe it or not, the Bible talks about a wrestling match between Jesus Christ, the Lord of the Old Testament, and Jacob. And Jacob beat him! The Lord had to cheat and touch his hip and put it out of joint in order to win and get away from Jacob. That was done on purpose, of course, but that was when He renamed him. He said, your name is no longer Jacob. From now on, your name will be Israel, and Israel means he struggled with God and prevailed, and Jacob beat God in a wrestling match. Now, it was probably one of, like, a wrestling match today. It was probably pretty much choreographed by God, and God intended to lose, but anyway, we won’t get into that, but that is how the name Israel came to be.
(4:57) When Jacob, as an old man in Egypt, sees Joseph’s two sons at first, he says, let my name, Israel, be on these two lads, and then he crossed his hands and he blessed the younger son Ephraim, over the older son, Manasseh. This was done against Joseph’s will and said that the younger son, Ephraim would be the greatest nation to ever exist on the face of the earth. That they will be the most blessed nation by God.
(6:15) Now, who do you think that is? And they have a number 13 in their identity? Hmm. If you can’t figure that one out, then you don’t understand anything about the United States of America. We are a nation known by 13, and 13 is a lucky number. It’s not an unlucky number. It is the number of America, and whenever you see a prophecy concerning Ephraim, or especially concerning Israel, it means the United States of America, and to a lesser extent, England, and the Great Britain, and the United Kingdom, and the Commonwealth of Nations. The Commonwealth of Nations includes Australia, Canada, and other nations around the world as well. These are the nations of Israel. When you read in the Old Testament, you will see the prophecies concerning Judah, that means the modern-day Jews who call themselves Israel, and then you will see other prophecies concerning the modern-day Israelites, which are the Americans and the English, basically. Denmark is a part of it. They’re the Mark of Dan. Reuben is a part of it, which is France today. The Netherlands are Naphtali. So, you can find the 10 lost tribes through Western Europe, England, Ireland, Scotland, and America, and around the world, like Canada, Australia, Hong Kong was a territory of this United Kingdom of the modern day. Think about the flag of England. It’s called the Union Jack. Where is Jack in England’s name? But it’s the same color of the veil that was on the outside of the temple, leading into the inside of the temple. It was a flag, or a veil, that looked like the flag of England, and England calls their flag the Union Jack, for Union Jacob.
YOU may not believe this; however, it is the English people who know their history…especially the royalty, the monarchy, they know who they are in biblical-hit prophecy. They understand who the Queen’s royal line goes back to which is David, and they think they can prove it, and I think they can too.
(8:29) One of the mysteries that Americans and most of the people around the world do not even understand is why is that stone in present-day, located in Scotland. I am talking about the stone that is under every coronation of a monarch in England since the Middle Ages. Why is that stone so important? People don’t even question why it’s important. Or maybe it’s important because that stone, supposedly, is the same very pillar stone that Jacob used as a pillow when he had his famous highway-to-heaven dream, way back in Genesis.
You may not believe it, and you may think it’s folklore, but the point is that the English monarchy believes it and English historians who know better believe it.
Why don’t you know they believe it?
Because there is a deception going on to keep you from knowing your identity!
(9:24) If you’re an English person, or if you’re an American, or a Canadian, or an Australian…your identity is being withheld from you by the devil. The reason why is because if you knew who you were, then you would understand biblical prophecy. If you knew who you were, you would understand going way back in Deuteronomy 28, Deuteronomy chapter 28 exactly the warnings God gave to America today. Which He also gave to England, Canada, and Australia.
What would happen to us if we forgot God and forgot His Laws?
(10:04) Well…He gives a warning about this and it’s a very strong warning. The warning is, like I said, in Deuteronomy 28, I’m going to read out of The Plain Truth Bible, where Christ’s words are in red, including in the Old Testament. It’s also a Bible put in the correct order that it was intended to be read. Most people do not know this but today’s modern Bibles that they are reading are out of order from the order that Christ actually read the Bible, especially the Old Testament. There is no real order to the New Testament, except by maybe the order in which they were canonized. However, the Old Testament had a specific order and a specific number of books. The number of books, believe it or not, was 22. Not the number you’re told today that the Old Testament is allegedly comprised of. There were no first and second Samuel. There was no first and second Kings. There was no first and second Chronicles. They were all one book. There were many books today that we separated that were one book. Israel and Nehemiah was one book. So they were 22 books of the Old Testament Scriptures, which represented the 22 letters in the Hebrew alphabet. It’s their A to Z, their Alpha and their Omega, their proof of Jesus Christ, who says, I am the Alpha, and I am the Omega. If you understand what details really are going on in your Bible, and you understand what the hidden message is, the mystery message there, you can really understand the Bible. You can understand prophecy. You can understand where we are today. You can understand who we are, and you can also understand what’s going to happen.
(11:41) Now, let me give a caveat here, because I have to do this each time since there will be a few people who will call me and say, Bob, or not call me, but actually email me and say, Bob, I don’t know what you’re talking about here. It doesn’t matter about prophecy or genealogy or any of this stuff. All that matters is if you believe on Jesus Christ. Well, that’s partially true, but it’s not entirely true. The devil believes in Jesus Christ, but he’s still the devil. You have to believe in Jesus Christ and you have to obey Christ, and then you are one of Christ. You don’t have to know prophecy. You don’t have to know who we are. None of this is part of your salvation. But if you happen to be living in the end days or near the end times, it would be nice to know what’s going on and that God predicted it as a proof that God is in control. God knew what was going to happen and predicted it beforehand. Would it not be good to know that? I think it would be. If you don’t care, change then from what you’re listening to right now because the rest of this, the next 15 minutes are going to be more of the same.
If you go to Deuteronomy 28 which by the way, the same basic cursing is in Leviticus 26…first of all, Deuteronomy 28 and Leviticus 26 are basically the same chapter or the same warnings from God.
(13:01) They start out with blessings, that if you obey God, you obey God’s laws, you follow God’s Sabbath day, which most of the Christian world does not do, then you would be blessed. It says, for example, let me give you some of the blessings that would happen to us if we obeyed. If you fully obey the Lord your God, this is Deuteronomy 28 verse 1, and carefully keep all his commandments that I am giving you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the world. You will experience all the blessings if you obey God. Your towns and your fields will be blessed. Your children and your crops will be blessed. Your offspring of your herds will be blessed. Your fruit baskets and bread boards will be blessed. Wherever you go, you will be blessed.
The Lord will conquer your enemies when they attack you. They will attack you from one direction, but they will scatter in many.
The Lord will guarantee a blessing on everything you do. If you obey the commands of the Lord your God and walk in His ways, the Lord will establish you as His holy people, as he swore that He would do. Then all the nations of the world will see that you are the people who are claimed by the Lord, and they will stand in awe of you.
(14:09) Think of the United States in the 1950s, how the world was in awe of us and how powerful we were…how blessed we were. This was before we threw God out of our schools, and we threw God out of our life, which has happened since then. The Lord will give you prosperity in the land he swore to give to your ancestors, and he will send rain in due time. If you listen to these commands of the Lord your God I’m giving you today and you carefully obey them, the Lord will make for you the head and not the tail.
Then He goes on in the last part of Deuteronomy 28, but if you refuse to listen to me and do not obey all my commands and decrees that I am giving you today, all these curses will come and overwhelm you. Your towns and your fields will be cursed. Well, look at what’s happening to farmlands and the ravaging of our environment from deadly storms and windstorms and tornadoes and failure of crops and droughts and then floods. Your fruit baskets and bread boards will be cursed. Your children and your crops will be cursed. What’s happening to our children today? Are they not cursed? They’re being sold into slavery by aliens living amongst us. We’ll get into that as well. The offspring of your herds and flocks will be cursed, and you yourself will be cursed. The Lord himself will send on you curses, confusion, frustration in everything you do until at last you are completely destroyed from doing evil and abandoning Me. The Lord will afflict you with diseases until none of you are left in the land that you are about to enter and occupy. The Lord will strike you with wasting diseases. Are we plagued with wasting diseases today? Well, I think we are.
(15:59) The Lord will strike you with wasting diseases, fevers, and inflammation. This is a great translation that I put in the version of the Bible that is in the concordance of Greece that the word can be translated inflammation. When you read any medical journal today, when they talk about cancer, they talk about diabetes, they talk about kidney disease, they talk about liver disease, they talk about almost every single autoimmune issue, everything you can think of that is killing us today. What do the medical experts today say is the cause? Inflammation. What does aspirin or ibuprofen do? It lowers the inflammation in your body. Many of the drugs that you take, their purpose is to lower the inflammation because our researchers, our scientists today understand that the number one problem that affects all of our health today, and a lot of this comes from our environment, the chemicals in our environment, and the food that we eat, and of course the chemicals in the food that we eat, that what the result of all of these chemicals and bad foods are doing to us is causing our body to be in an inflamed state. Causing all sorts of diseases.
Here we read some 3,500 years ago that God promises to give Israel, which is the United States of America, England, Canada, Australia, and the English-speaking people of the world, inflammation, disease, wasting diseases, and fevers, all caused by inflammation. He will also hit us with scorching heat, droughts, for example. He will also hit us with a blight of mildew.
(18:02) Think about one of the biggest killers today, an unknown killer that is in so many homes today, that children get asthma young, and it actually can cause such ailments and inflammation, by the way, that people actually die from this disease that he’s going to talk about right here. He’s going to confound us with blight and mildew and mold. You ever hear of black mold and what black mold does to your body, to the nervous system of your body? There are houses that have been destroyed because they cannot stop the black mold that has taken over their house. And I’ve read reports that up to 90% of all homes on the east coast are plagued with black mold in one form or another, and it’s very hard to kill. Just a good note, but make sure there’s no electricity outlets nearby. If you want to kill mold and mildew and you want to do it in the quickest, easiest way, never put chlorine spray on it, Clorox, or anything like that, because it’s 97% water. Mold and mildew need three things. It needs humidity over 50%. It needs warmth, warm conditions, and it needs no airflow. So, if you take away airflow, if you take away humidity by putting in a dehumidifier and getting humidity down to like 35%, and you use a proper disinfectant and take away all moisture from that mold and mildew growing in your house, it will die almost overnight. The best thing to use is 99, and you can usually get this if you go to a Home Depot or a place like that and get denatured alcohol, because it’s 100%. It’s fluid to light camping stoves. It’s denatured alcohol. Put that alcohol, but don’t do it around, you know, turn off all electricity to where you’re going to do it. But spray that area of mold with denatured alcohol, and it will die instantly, and it will not come back.
Back to God…He is going to inflict us with diseases that are caused by inflammation. The Lord will strike you with many wasting diseases, fever, and inflammation, with drought and with mildew. These disasters will pursue you until you die, and that is what’s happening. Americans are dying like they’ve never died before of all kinds of unknown diseases.
(20:31) The skies above you will be as unyielding as bronze, that means drought, and the earth beneath you will be as hard as iron. The Lord will change the rain that falls on your land into powder, and the dust will pour down from the sky, and you will be destroyed. The Lord will cause you to be defeated by your enemies. See that, where we start losing our battles? From one direction, you will scatter in seven directions when they attack you. You will be an object of horror to all the kingdoms of the earth. People looked at us after Vietnam, and they were in horror of what happened to the power of the United States. Your corpses will be food for the scavenging birds, meaning nobody will bury us, and wild animals will eat your wasting away bodies. The Lord will affect you with boils, like skin cancer, tumors, boils. The Lord will strike you with madness, blindness, and panic. Right now, we are suffering a huge mental illness problem in America. We are not facing that head-on, but America has probably the worst mental illness problem that it has ever had in the history that we’ve been a civilization, and this, again, was promised by God for not following his laws. You will grope around in broad daylight like you’re blind, and you will not find your way. You will be oppressed and continually robbed of crime in the streets, runaway crime, robberies, thievery, rapes, murders, right? You will be engaged to a woman, but another man will sleep with her, raping your wives, your daughters, your girlfriends. The illegals coming in here, what are they doing? You will plant a vineyard, but you will never enjoy the fruit. Your donkey will be taken from you, meaning your possessions will be taken from you. You will watch as your sons and daughters are taken away as slaves. Sex slavery is huge right now. A foreign nation you have never heard about will eat your crops that you worked hard to grow. These are all the people coming in and taking our stuff and taking it away from us. You will go mad because of all the tragedy you see around you. The Lord will then exile you and our nation, where someday this nation is going to be defeated, and long before the tribulation, probably, we are going to be put into captivity by Europe, most likely. You will plant much, but you will harvest little. You will plant vineyards and care for them, but you will not drink them or their wine or eat their grapes.
(23:06) You will grow olive trees, but you will never enjoy the ripe olives. You will have sons and daughters, but you will lose them. The foreigners living among you will become stronger than you and while you become weaker to them. They will lend you money, you will not lend them money. They will be your head and you will be the tail if you continue to disobey the laws of the Lord, your God. Well, my friends, I think that pretty much sums it up. What’s wrong with America today? It’s just not an open border. It’s just not evil Democrats who keep the open border. There’s something even more nefarious going on, and that is the American people, many, not all, and I’m hoping this election proves that we’ll know this and if we rebroadcast this program, we will know right now when we broadcast this program if the majority of Americans are still on God’s side or not, but too many Americans wanted God out of our schools.
They wanted God out of our lives.
They wanted God out of our religious institutions, in fact, because we don’t want to attend commandments in our churches.
(24:35) We say that Jesus Christ came to do away with the law. He did nothing of the sort. He did not come to do away with the law, or we wouldn’t see that the law is reinstituted when he returns in the millennium. We have been lied to.Our media has lied to us, our politicians have lied to us, and our business leaders have lied to us. Worst of all, our ministers and priests and rabbis have lied to us, so what we are doing, we are reaping the whirlwind. Now, I’m telling you, I do believe there are many Americans, millions, tens of millions of Americans who deeply love Jesus Christ and know he is their Savior, and these people, my friends, these people that you may not be one of them, you may not believe in God, you may be an atheist, you may think that most libertarians, for example, a lot of them are atheists, you may think that our Constitution is what’s made us strong, which made our country the greatest nation on earth, but it is not.
It is the people who pray to God, know their God, worship God, and ask God to take care of them and heal them and heal our nation. If my people, God says in your Bible, you put these words, I’m not going to tell you where to find it. I want you to put these words in a search engine. If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their evil, wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sins, and I will heal their land. It’s that simple. It’s that simple .All we have to do is pray to God, humble ourselves, admit we have been wrong, admit we are sinners, admit this country has gone against our God, we have turned our back on him, we have kicked God out of our school, we have absolutely turned on God, especially our government leaders, our churches who want to teach lawlessness, and even our businesses and our own people. I am asking you Americans today, and we will see by the election results on Tuesday, November 5th, what is the results of how many Americans are putting God first in this country, and realizing that the Democratic Party, the liberal communists that are ruling us right now, want God out of our lives, because they know what the result is, because they are inspired by Satan the devil, and the result will be the destruction of our peoples and of our land, and we will end up in captivity. It’s going to happen, because the Bible says it’s going to happen to us eventually.
But if we humble ourselves, if we pray like the people of Nineveh prayed in the time of Jonah, then God will hear from heaven, and He will heal us.
He will take away our sin, He will then bless us again, and we will have another golden age in American life.
(27:50) Our businesses will prosper, our farms will prosper, our people will prosper, and we will again become the leader of all the nations on this blessed earth. That is what is in front of us. God says in another part of the Bible, O Israel, why do you want to die? I’m asking you this day. You have a choice before you. You can choose life, or you can choose death. Then God adds, I beg you, choose life. God does not make our decisions for us. God has made us a free moral agent. We can reject God, or we can love God, but it’s up to us. But whatever choice we make, we will live with the consequences, and God has already spelled out the consequences.
I just read them to you from Deuteronomy 28 and Leviticus 26. Read them for yourself tonight. Read for yourself what is going to happen to us if we do not obey and follow and worship God Almighty.
