Good morning, this is 7:11 AM and this is Bob Barney with The Plain Truth Today dot com. Brought to you by The Plain Truth.
It was a paper or a booklet, when I was a young man that explained why so many big businesses were failing in the 1960s. It was called The Peter Principle. This was kind of interesting and a thesis about companies that are managed or mismanaged by people who just do not know what they are doing. Today, I believe we have a situation where it is The Peter Principle on steroids.
The Peter Principle was simply this…when a company finds an employee that is doing an exceptional job, they promote them and get them moved through the ranks. For example, someone is a great factory worker, and they make him a foreman, a very good one at that, and he prints out more production than anyone before him, so they make him a plant supervisor. He does a great job and knows that every aspect of the job, knowing what it is like to be a foreman, so now he is a supervisor and then they make him a plant manager. So he does a good job there and they make him a VP of Ops next, then he fails miserably. Because he cannot do the job, he is not used to all the paperwork, and he is not used to having an office job looking out of a window, not being near a factory so he steps producing and stops doing what he used to do very adequately and now he is doing things so incorrectly and leave him there in that position. At a time, General Motors was an example. They had 46 VP’s who only about 5 of them were working and the rest were writing their memoirs because they really excelled to a level, they became incompetent in. They did this instead of putting them back where they were more than competent and left there as a reward for being good in the past, but incompetent. This is the Peter Principle.
This was plaguing American businesses at one time and the Japanese took advantage of it because they didn’t do this to their own people…they raised their people only to their competency. Kept you where you were really thriving. But we suffered in America.
I want to get into this because businesses and government, everywhere you can think of today, is suffering because we are not in a situation of this very principle, on purpose.
When the original book was written, it had nothing to do with race, being red or black or white, or orange or pink or Martian green. It had to do with everyone falling into this situation in an American large corporation where someone would do a very good job at a level and then promoted out of where they were good at and became incompetent at the job at hand. I think the book basically did a very good job pointing out that it was hurting America businesses and productivity and our position in the world that was once a leading business economy…changed.
I believe and this is only my opinion, today we are in a situation where I call it the Peter Principle on steroids because now we don’t only promote people based not he fact that they are really good at what they have done, but we are promoting people who cannot even do the job well at all because of their race, because of their gender, or even how they identify themselves. We have a man for example, who is an admiral who wants to be a woman and dresses like a woman in the Biden Administration that is there because of what it is…we also have a VP Kamala Harris, who in my opinion, could never have the brains to pass the bar exam so either someone has passed it for her for sexual favors, because that is how she got to where she is, let’s face it, she was named in a divorce lawsuit as the reason why Willie Brown and his wife broke up, she slept her way to the top. if you just listen to this woman, you can tell there isn’t a brain in her head, there is no way she took the bar and passed it. Someone either took it for her, which is possible, or they just said she passed it when she did not. She identifies herself as being black when actually she is Indian, (from India). She was able to take herself from prosecutor where she couldn’t do the job, to the senator where she was horrible, to a vice president where she is even more horrible. She is probably the worst VP in history, and we have had some pretty bad ones. And she is a heartbeat away from being president and close to having have someone even more stupid than Joe Biden become president.
This is why I call it The Peter Principle on steroids.
We take all sorts of people that we promote based on what they claim to be, or what they are, if they are black, or a woman, or claim to be a man when they are really a woman or vice versa, we promote these people based on what they are and not what they know or how good they are at what they do. That is The Plain simple facts, or The Plain Truth as I like to say it. And this is destroying this country in so many ways when you have people who are making decisions who have no business doing so. They are making decisions for millions of other people that are just incompetent to do the job.
You realize that back in the day they used to call it the black degree from Harvard if you were a black person if you got a degree even if you didn’t do the right work…just getting it because of your race. Many companies discriminated, wrongfully so against blacks, and rightfully so as well, because they assumed that that black person really did not have the knowledge of a Harvard degree; just given to him or her because of their race. Therefore, when you had a very smart black man or smart black woman, they would be discriminated against as it would be assumed in the 70s especially that the person that was before them, got their degree just because of their skin color and therefore were discriminated against. They were hired at the time, not promoted, just thrown into a corner somewhere of a factory or the business hired into, especially a Fortune 500 company, having very little of a chance. Such a shame but the direct result of Government interference, liberal interference, of giving degrees to people because of their skin color who came from big universities and not based on their talent or experience.
It is often said by people in my circle, I am a businessperson, so I deal with a lot of other businesspeople, mainly small, and they have gotten where they have gotten because of their brains. Do you know that a small businessman or woman usually with the exception of the small businesswoman, usually become successful if they are going to become successful because of their brains and their street smarts and their knowledge of the industry that they are in. It is very hard to be a small businessperson in AMerica in the first place, so if you do succeed, most likely you are doing a very good job at what you do and you are running circles around the Peter Principal type people running the companies who do not know what they are doing.
As a small company, you are leaner, faster, and smarter than your bigger competitors, not only able to survive but thrive. That is more of a small business type role then a big business type role. The only exception to that would be, some females run small businesses that do government work…they only do that type of work because they are a section 8 business, therefore, they get special kind of consideration for bids, contracts, and awards that anyone else would not get because they are not female. I believe the rank goes, Alaskan as the first in their list, then female, then it is the color of the female, then it is the gender, there is a list of who the government wants to do business with. It is nonsense and doesn’t have anything to do with anything about America. It isn’t even good for the person in general, especially the American public is paying for all of this nonsense. So, where we are today is a situation where when you go to the hospital and you are very sick and you are afraid you are going to die, then you see a doctor and that doctor happens to be oriental, you are going to assume something people will call raciest, but you will assume that doctor knows what he is doing…why? Because unlike other minorities in America, Orientals are discriminated against because they are so smart. They score one of the highest levels of intelligence of any race, even above white people. Therefore, universities discriminate against then and limit the number of scholarships or admissions they give to oriental people in favor of giving other minorities, especially black Americans, and now present day, who knows, maybe black and illegal immigrants, get apriority over Orientals because like I said, they are so smart…but it is because of this intelligence they would get the jobs they apply for. But if you were patient and had to have a life-or-death decision brought upon you and you did not know if that person taking care of you is going to be the right person for the job instead of the right person that the government decides is best for the job, then you can see why there is so much mistrust.
Most middle-class people of any race, no longer trusts an authority. They don’t trust in the medical community, especially after covid, they no longer trust in anything that happens because they know the game. The game is the best and the brightest are not who is promoted. IT is the person that fits a certain box to be checked off. Joe Biden even said that his next Supreme Court nominee had to be a black female. Can you imagine? If some president said, “Well my next nominee has to be a white non-Jewish male”? The person would be impeached. First of all, it is illegal for a government position, especially a president, to make such a statement but Biden made that statement and followed through with that statement and put a person on the Supreme Court who maybe dumber than Kamala Harris. She could not even tell the senators what the definition of a women was. She couldn’t tell the difference about certain cases of law, certain facts, she wasn’t even aware of certain court cases that were important, trend busting court cases from the past…she had no clue about them. Like Kamala Harris, she got her law degree and her judgeship based on the color of her skin and the fact that she was a woman and nothing to do with her intellect. Sorry, but that is The Plain Truth.
That is the case that we have today. Every single working slob in this country knows that it is true. Everybody you work with, I guarantee it, you know it is true. Your friends know it is true too. You know that your boss if you work for a large company is an incompetent idiot that is there based on what race they are, what color they are, or some box that that corporation decided it had to check off. All in order to be WOKE. That is what woke means, that is the problem that we are facing in this country today. Then you have other decisions being made, this is a general show on this topic of what’s wrong direction wise that this country is going down…I am just hoping that enough people fast and pray on June 14th to help change the direction of this country.
Then we had a decision, and this is why I rail against the people who say they are conservative on the right as much as I rail against those on the left that are liberals…when neither are who they claim to be. You had a judge rule just the other day that it was legal for illegal aliens to possess firearms. That the second amendment applied to illegal aliens, and you had applause from people from the NRA and the people on the right in that the judge made the right decisions because the constitution has to be enforced for everyone.
I have news for you…if you are a criminal and just got out of prison for doing a crime, the 2nd amendment doesn’t apply to you but if you are an illegal alien, it does apply to you. Do you see a problem with that logic? A person crossing the border illegally is a felon. That person may not have been adjudicated a felon but he or she has no right in truth to possess a firearm in this country.
I do not believe our Founding Fathers thought that foreigners, illegally in this country had the protection of The Bill of Rights. Remember, it was held in this country, and we did a broadcast on this, it was held that The Bill of Rights didn’t even apply to the states never mind the illegal aliens. It was hell…and I tellyou about this famous case in CT, it was hell that none of The Bill of Rights applied to state government only federal governments and that people that were tried in a state court did not have the protections of The Bill of Rights. That si the case for over 150 years in this country. It was a wrong decision of the Supreme court to say this but that was the law of the land…and you have to realize, it didn’t apply to American citizens in the framer’s mind and it certainly didn’t apply to illegal aliens or any criminals in the mind of the Founding Fathers. The idea that a judge would allow people that should be in jail or deported, to legally possess a weapon just shows you how bad both sides of the argument is.
Both sides want to make their points at the cost of the countries well-being. No one that you are listening to on either side has your best interest in mind. They have special interests in mind. What is best for you and your family is simply not what is best for them. They are not representing you. They are not caring about what is best for you and therefore you have these murders and robberies and all of this violent crime …lawlessness in the streets of America, especially in the big cities going forward and no one is doing anything about it.
When you have a nation that is run by the corrupt as the Biden Administration as well as the Biden family which is probably the most corrupt bunch of people ever…that is saying a lot because if you go back to the Clinton Administration and many other scenarios, the Biden puts other scandals to shame. They are so corrupt, so absolutely immoral and evil and base, they all belong in jail. So, you have corrupt, evil, non-skilled and nonperforming people making decisions of life and death for you and your family. EVERY DAY.
You have judges who do not judge. They do not judge fairly; they don’t even judge by the law. I won’t get into the details here, but I know a family member who went to a court system that was an absolute kangaroo court system where the judge and attorney suing this person was absolutely Incahoots, broke the law, absolutely broke the law (!!) and did not follow proper court proceedings. Almost even got away with it until that person hired a very expensive lawyer who went in there and absolutely put everyone to school about the law and the judge of course was an EOE, Equal Opportunity Employee type judge. She was a black female who again seemed to have absolutely no care at all of what the law is.
What was in the interest of her people, and you can decide who “her people” is…and this is the problem wtih this coutnry today. Unless we as a people take hold of this country and hopefully fasting and praying on June 14th for this country will convince God to do something different for us, but until something radically changes for this country, VERY soon, we are doomed as the leader of this world and we are doomed to follow the path the Bible predicts we will eventually follow which is to go into captivity under a Beast Government that comes out of Europe. We are and excuse my language, we are pissing away our rights, our liberties and our freedom all based on being a woke nation who puts the wrong people in charge of every major decision. Our doctors, our lawyers, our politicians, our business leaders, our business workers, are all put in place based on checking off a box or two and not based on what is good for the company, for the country, or even for whatever their goal is. We have a country today that is run by a bunch of incompetent people. It is like I have said in the beginning of this broadcast…The Peter Principle on steroids. Not only have we put people at a level of competency, but we hire incompetent people in the first place. They haven’t ever been able to do anything to perfection in order to be promoted to incompetency, they are incompetent from he gets go.
Again, if that doesn’t change, we are in serious trouble as a country. This is a little different than most of my shows that I have done but it is something that I think that most people listening to my voice right now agree with. Even though they don’t want to publicly agree with it because it is not a very positive well received type thought to have. People who get their job based on their race or their skin color or their religion or their lack of religion…or if they are a female or not or identify as one or not…it is these boxes that they use to get their job. IF you don’t think this is affecting the strength of this country then you are a part of the problem. The problem is going to cause death. Multiple deaths of many people. How many people go to the hospital and are treated by an incompetent doctor. Do the research. Look at how many people go to the hospital and get wrong operations, incompetent doctors and nurses, incompetent pharmaceutical companies, making decision of life or death and couldn’t even pass an elementary school test. They were promoted through the ranks specifically because the skin color or the gender ideology in applying for the job and that is what is wrong with this country today.
If anyone can be honest with themselves…if we don’t as a country put an end to this, we are doomed. It is about time we realize…and I will cross a line here, it is about time here that we are in worse shape than our Forefathers were in 1775. In 1775 and 1776, our Forefathers decided enough was enough and they were going to use any means possible to restore liberty to the American colonies. It is what I am saying today, we are in worse shape today than we ever were under a King.
We have a king by the way, today, a dictator today, who is protected by the FBI. It is about time that we do to our political class what our Forefathers did to the English. We are getting very close to where we have to make a decision.
That is enough for today, this is a bit of a downer of a broadcast, but I will figure out something better to say…but this does need to be said. It is about time somebody starts talking about what is best for this country and not what is best for some individual.
