Hi, this is Bob Barney with a Friday wrap-up, the first one in two weeks actually. I’ve been under the weather and still am a bit.

I want to get into the news that made the week….the biggest news in my opinion is the confirmation of all of the Trump appointees for various cabinet positions, especially that of Tulsi Gabbard and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Up until about a week ago, many people thought that they did not have a prayer in heck in order to get the nomination approved by the Senate, but I was pretty sure they would be. I figured that for the most part Trump was going to get his way when it comes to his picks.

I’m a little surprised that any Democrat really, would get on board with the Trump appointees. It just shows the bipartisanship that’s going on, which I think the American people are not going to be very happy with.

3:02 In one of my shorter broadcasts this week that I was able to record, I discussed that I believe the Trump administration is making some serious mistakes at the outgo of their new time in office. However, that being said, the Democrats are doing much worse than the Republicans could ever imagine doing; they still think their policy of opposing Trump the way they did with lawfare and lies over the last four years is still the strategy moving forward. I don’t think they realize that the American public has had enough of the Democrats in Congress and know that their repetitive antics are just going to backfire…thus resulting in helping Trump out.

Even when he’s making mistakes that I believe he is, they’re going to be overlooked because of the fact that the Democrats have nothing substantial against President Trump and just act like a bunch of kids.

4:55 When I saw Maxine Waters and her company outside of the education department with that security guard who would not any of them in, I thought it was the most hilarious thing I had ever seen in my life. This collective bunch of idiot Democrats really did not know how to handle the security guard who remained cool the whole time and just would not let them pass through the door. They were just stymied and they just stood there looking like a bunch of kids who had their hands slapped by the teacher with a ruler. They were just pouting and that is what the Democrats have been reduced to, and it was quite humorous. If they don’t find a new spokesman for the Democratic Party who can bring them back to the mainstream of the American people pretty darn soon, they can kiss the 2026 midterm elections goodbye as well as the 2024 elections. On the flipside, in my view if they would learn what they are currently doing wrong and correct it with some new faces and I would like to say some new younger faces, I think the Democrats could pull off a congressional win in 26. I think this would be the case especially if Trump continues to make some of the errors that I believe he’s making that the American people who voted for him are not happy with.

My biggest concern that I believe could turn some of his voter base off which I pointed out in a recent broadcast is the tackling of inflation. He’s going after illegal aliens, that’s good, criminal illegal aliens especially. He’s going after Putin and trying to make the war go away in Ukraine, that’s good. His concept that, ‘we are going to own Gaza…’ could be actually biggest mistake in the world.

7;03 He’s not going to accomplish something that God very specifically says is not possible and that is anyone bringing peace to the Middle East, number one. That isn’t anything any man is going to be able to let alone, President Trump. The idea that he is not instantly trying to tackle inflation but instead, as I have recently pointed out, he’s going to war with Canada threatening tariffs. Canada is a true trading partner…I believe they may be our third largest trading partner, and the Canadians are not at fault for any trade imbalances that are happening because American businesses have been chased out of this country. If Donald Trump wants reverse the trade deficit, what he needs to do is get manufacturing back to the United States and you can’t do that by bullying other people or even bullying companies. You have to do that by getting rid of regulations as he is trying to do and to work with your partners and try to find the people you need to work with. I think the tariffs against Mexico, the tariffs against China, I don’t necessarily have a problem with, but doing so against Canada is almost ludicrous. The idea that he wants to make Canada the 51st state…I’m starting to think he’s honestly wanting this and that is not a good thing in my book.

Now the Chinese situation may not be as easy as everyone thinks, myself included…possibly because they are ready to retaliate.

You know, when a country makes 100% of your antibiotics and about 85% of all the other medicines, maybe you have to watch out with how tough you get with them right off the bat. Maybe you can dangle some carrots and not come to the table with big sticks. Maybe you can talk your way into a better trade agreement with China instead of talking your way out of antibiotics, etc.

Changing subjects…this bird flu nonsense, and I call it nonsense because I believe it is nonsense. I believe what we are seeing today is what we started seeing in 2018 and 2019. I did a story about this several months ago about how everyone forgot that in 2018, everyone was talking about the bird flu, and it was going to affect the elections by 2020. What we ended up having was in late 2019 and in early 2020, we had COVID come along, which was a planned-demic. It was totally made up by Democrat and liberal opportunist to hype a flu, or a cold, because Corona is really a cold…which was only a killer to a very small minority of Americans. Actually, the death toll from COVID-19 was overstated by up to five times the real amount. That’s something that’s a scandal that nobody wants to talk about today. That doesn’t negate the fact that it was a true scandal put in place to steal the 2020 election.

How did this affect the election?

10:56 By changing election laws for COVID-19 regulations, mask regulations, and people mailing in ballots and not being able to prove their own identity. The plain truth of the matter is the 2020 election was stolen because of the coronavirus and we’re seeing already within one week of Trump getting into office. There is all of this talk about the bird flu, killing millions of chickens, eggs being in short supply to make inflation even worse. People can remember the inflation factor that Trump promised to solve only to be getting worse under his first week or two in office. What people don’t seem to remember, and I put this up on the Plain Truths Message Board about a week ago, what people don’t seem to remember is that the egg situation has nothing to do with the bird flu.

Do you remember back in 2019 and 2020 and 2021, under the camouflage of COVID, all of these egg factories and egg farms burnt to the ground because of arsonists? What you have is about eight food companies that control the entire Western world’s food supply. That’s the truth. About eight companies control about 75% of all the food that you’re going to consume out of a grocery store and one or two companies are trying to make sure that eggs become a commodity worth $20 a dozen. This way they don’t have to produce as many eggs, and they make just as much of a profit.

That’s what’s going on here.

We’re seeing the foundation being laid of many new problems in order to get in Trump’s way and to get into that 2026 election to try to get a Democrat-controlled House so they can impeach Trump day one…ensuring their control.

The first week that the Democrats could take control of Congress in 26, if they win, there will be bills of impeachment and he will be impeached within the first month of the new Congress in 2026. This is the entire strategy of the Democratic Party that I’m hoping backfires. I just don’t want Trump to play along with this and have a blind eye to what’s going on around him. This egg shortage is planned. This egg shortage is a war against you and me, the consumer. What we should do is we should have the Trump administration \ have the nerve to do what Teddy Roosevelt did to big business…he broke up these food conglomerates, and sold most of their assets…this is what President Trump could do…he could put egg farming back in that hands of the little farms, have little middle men be the egg brokers doing away with all of these big corporate entities who are controlling our food supply. This is so to starve us to death.

15:23 There is this depopulation agenda that everybody forgets about as well. We mention this from time to time on The Plain Truth that since 1973 that I know of, there has been this effort by the elitists of this world to depopulate this earth back to about 500 million to a billion people. That means they want to see about 8 billion people die.

Think about that for a minute.

We need to be aware of this and we need to see that this is what’s happening behind all the other distracting news.

I’ll be right back after a few moments of commercials for The Plain Truth’s Message Board, ThePlainTruth.com, and this broadcast.

Thank you. Well, welcome back to the Friday wrap-up with Bob Barney and The Plain Truth Today. As we mentioned in the beginning of the broadcast, Robert Kennedy was confirmed through the Senate for his position as Health and Human Services leader. I believe that the first few things he’s going to do are really going to help the American public.

17:21 Number one, he promises to do away with all of the pharmaceutical ads. Pharmaceutical companies that are selling a product where a person needs a prescription from a doctor should not be being advertised on TV. They should be banned from advertising. When that money is taken away from Fox News and CNBC and MSNBC and ABC and CBS, then you’re going to see maybe some real reporting about the harm Big Pharma has done to the American and the public of the world, for that matter. All over the world, people are harmed because of Big Pharma. People are harmed because of big business. Also, the nomination and confirmation of Tulsi Gabbard, I think, is a good move as well. I won’t call her a hero, but she’s a veteran who has done her job and she is as patriotic as anybody else that could be in that job. In fact, much more so than anybody Joe Biden ever had. So I think that’s good news all around.

In other news of the week that I think we should discuss right now is Elon Musk and his DOGE Commission. Specifically all of the findings and the waste in government programs that he has uncovered in the past two weeks has been totally mind-boggling.

We have mentioned previously about how bad government spending is and the nonsense they spend our money on, but I will tell you that he has even surprised me with all that he has found. How we have given money to terrorists, we gave money to build the tunnels that made it possible to attack Israel! We gave money to people who hate this country, and we give money to people who don’t need it.

19:24 As Ron Paul said so aptly many years ago, welfare, government welfare to other nations, or foreign aid as we want to call it, is nothing than a government stealing from poor people to give to nations that are poor rich. Let me explain that. Maybe that didn’t come across good. We take from the American people their hard-earned dollars and they’re poor. We’re a rich nation and we give it to a poor nation, but who gets it in that poor nation? It’s not the poor people, it’s the elite rich people of that nation that takes that foreign aid, puts it in their pocket, keeps the people poor, and gets even richer and sends some money back to Democrats, probably in Congress and in the Senate. And that’s what has been going on in American foreign aid now for many, many years.

One of the things that has given me a lot of excitement, not only that these Dodge commissions is finding, is the amount of employees in the federal government that is absolutely a waste. When 75 percent of your employees are considered unessential on a snowstorm, that’s telling me that you do not need those people working for you. If I have an unessential employee working in my company, guess what? He’s going to be let go because if I don’t need him when it’s snowing, I don’t need him at any other time. So that’s going to affect a lot of regulations that affect a lot of small businesses, big business as well as small business. But let’s be frank here. Big business can afford to have all these government regulations for the most part because that helps them stay in control of their destiny. It’s little guys like my business, my wife and my paint business, that are a thorn in the side of the bigger paint companies who can’t get rid of us. So they like to see strong regulations that they can comply to because they’re big enough to afford it, knowing that people like our size paint company cannot afford to do so. And so eventually the cost of regulations drive us out of business. We end up selling out to them who just simply shuts us down and gets more and more of the paint business profit and raping the people. I’ll give you a statistic in the automotive paint business because that’s what I’m the most familiar with. And if this is a shocker, I don’t know. I got into the business in January of 1980. I’ve been in this business, I’m going on 46 years. I know quite a bit about it. When in 1980, there was about 120, somewhere between 116 and 120 automotive paint manufacturers within the United States of America. And the big five, and I won’t get into who they are right now, but they’re the same big five then as they are today. The big five had about a 25% market share. Well, we go down 46 years later and there are about 15 automotive paint companies in the United States of America. What’s happened over the last 40 years? Well, one by one, the big five buys out other paint companies who are starting to do quite well. They pay two, three, sometimes four times the value of the company.

22:34 So the people, especially if it’s a privately owned company and they’re getting older in age, they want to sell. They can get more money than the company’s even worth. And what happens? The PPG or the Sherwin-Williams buys out that company and they shut it down day one. They don’t even want the business. They just want to get rid of the competition. And they paid all that money to get rid of that competition. And what they’re going to do is put that into the cost of paint for the consumer to have to pay later on. And let me give you an example of this. In the last 40 years, about a hundred paint companies have either closed its doors or sold out to the big five. So now you have about maybe 15 paint companies left in America that there’s a lot of companies that say they make paint, but they really don’t. They’re just a front and they buy paint from whoever and put their label on it and they say it’s theirs. But actual manufacturers who sit there from raw material and they manufacture automotive paint, there’s about 15 left in this country. And so they have, listen to this, a 1% market share. The big five now that used to have a 25% market share now have a 99% market share. So a gallon of paint in 1980 that sold for about $79 today sells for about $1,500. The average markup from raw material cost to the consumer, in this case the body shop, used to be about eight times. And little companies like me worked in at about three times cost. So if a product cost $30 a gallon to make, the big guys would get about at retail to the body shop, about $270 to $300 a gallon. And little guy could be competitive against the big shop because he would sell that. It might’ve cost him 40 instead of 30 because he can’t buy as well, but he could sell that for $125 to $150 a gallon to the shop and everybody made their money. With the advent of all these little paint companies going away, the big guys have turned automotive paint, and the closest thing I can even compare this to, is prescription medication, where a one penny pill ends up selling for $43.I was told a long time ago that the cost to make a Viagra pill is one penny, yet it sells for $46 or somewhere in that range I’ve been told. So as you can see, the markup of prescription medication is out of this world. The same is the closest thing to that in this industry, or any industry that I know of really today, is automotive paint, not house paint.

23:33 When you go to a Lowe’s or Home Depot or a Sherwin-Williams company store, and you buy a $60, $70 gallon of paint to paint your house, that paint probably cost the company to make $10, $15. If that was an automotive paint that cost $20 say, that’s going to sell for $800 to $1,000 to the body shop. Talk about profit versus raping the consumer, and that is because the big paint companies today, because they bought out all their competition, and this is why they did so, so they could shut them down, they weren’t worried about gaining new business, they knew it would come to them when they got rid of competition. So now you have in cases of products being marked up 30, 40, even 50 times raw material cost, and that is the nature of the paint business today. And there are gallons of paint, believe this or not, and a lot of people out there driving their cars and they have an accident, that’s when they find out what it’s going to cost. There are colors today on OEM cars, I’m not talking about these specialty colors that people put on hot rods, that can be very tremendously costly, but I’m talking about these tri-coat colors that are on factory cars like GMs and Toyotas and Lexus’ and Mercedes. Some of those cost somewhere between $1,600 to $2,500 per gallon, and there’s not $50 cost by the big guys in any of those colors. That’s the kind of markup and profit these big companies are making off of you, the consumer, and they did so by buying out the little guy, using government regulations from like the EPA and OSHA to make them want to sell in the first place, to shut them down so they can raise their prices to absorbent freeze. Now I want to tell you something.

Back in about 2003, 2004, the United States government and the Bush administration, this is all nonsense but sued the big five for price fixing. They caught them red-handed. They caught the emails, they caught letters, they caught meetings between CEOs of the big five paint companies meeting in Europe and fixing prices. So when you saw a gallon of a blue metallic for a GM Cadillac, for example, Sherwin-Williams would be $1,263.10, PPG would be $1,264.09, DuPont would have been $1,262.90, BASF would have been $1,296 even, and they were all within $2 of each other. But how did that happen? Because their costs are likewise? No. It’s because they decided to fix prices. They got caught. Now listen to this. When they got caught, they were accused of and admitted to overcharging by about $5 billion the consumer. The consumer was rooked out of $5 billion by price fixing, and their fine was $54 million. Would you pay $54 million to be able to screw somebody out of $5 billion? And if you thought that is just one example of how corrupt our government and big business are in bed with each other and turn the other cheek when they see all this corruption going on and letting them get away with it with a fine that is so paltry that it’s absolutely unconscionable even to think about? Well, that’s what happened in 2003 with the big paint companies. They were happy to pay that fine.

25:54 You do that yourself all day long. That’s like saying you can go in and you can rob from a jewelry store, and no matter what you take out of that jewelry store, you’re going to pay a $1,000 fine. How many people would do that? Most of the United States would do that today, especially with the lawlessness going on. That is what the paint companies did. This is why the EPA has to be just disbanded, done away with. OSHA has to be disbanded, done away with. We don’t need these. We also don’t need the IRS. I’ve been telling you forever, we need to go to the flat tax, which is a national sales tax, and Trump wouldn’t have to worry about his tariffs. We did that, we would find ourselves out of all economic problems within five years. The drug dealers would have to pay their tax, illegal aliens would have to pay their tax, and guess what? Any visitor to the United States from another country would be paying our income tax through a national sales tax that they would have to pay whenever they eat, go to a grocery store, buy food, go to a hotel, or anything they spend money in the United States would be a 20% extra duty tax on that. Everybody would pay their fair share, and the richer people would pay a greater part of their fair share because they buy more stuff, but they can decide if they want to buy one month or another, and the amount of money that our government would raise from such a program would be twice as much as we’re raising today, and a heck of a lot more money than Trump’s tariffs will ever raise, because trade wars, which Trump is really playing with, he’s on the verge of a trade war worldwide, ends up in a world war, and we don’t need a trade war, and we don’t need a World War III, and so that’s enough of that subject.

The last part of this week’s news that I think should be mentioned is the fact that we may be seeing a major war beginning in the Middle East. I hope Donald Trump gets to realize that his owning Gaza idea is a bad idea, number one, and it actually pits the Arab world against the United States and Israel. We do not want to be the bad boogie man in the middle, and I hope that he changes course pretty damn soon, but I think we could be seeing an escalation in war in the Middle East, something that God always tells us, keep the Middle East in your sights, because the Middle East and the problems of the Middle East will always be in your future until Jesus Christ, the God of the Old Testament and the Savior of the New Testament, is going to come back and save us from ourselves and the final battle which will be occurring at the time in, of all places, the Middle East.

27:35 don’t believe anybody who says they’re going to bring you peace in the Middle East, because God Almighty tells you there is no peace to be found in the Middle East. There is strife. Jerusalem is the center of that strife, and it will be that case until Christ returns. So be aware that we could see a battle being waged against Hamas that could grow really quickly into other areas of the Middle East, and I hope that’s not the case in the next few months, and I hope Donald Trump really can start pulling off the things he needs to save this country, and if he can, then I’m going to be all for that, because I want this man to succeed, because his success is the success of you and I in small businesses and American citizens all the way around the clock.

We need a successful Trump administration.

We don’t need mistakes being made, and we need to get this inflation under control because we have a food crisis coming, too. You can look to Message Board as we have a whole section right now about the coming food crisis. You need to read all those stories. They’re over 10 years old, but there is a food crisis coming, and we need to do something about it.

29:28 Well, tomorrow we’re going to have a Saturday Sabbath show on who the real Jesus is, in the morning, at 7-11. I found a really good short story. It’s a 1977 radio broadcast, about the future and what happens should we run out of oil. It’s a horror story or better yet, a suspense story. It’s about 44 minutes long, and I think people will enjoy listening to that. Even though it is from the late 70’s, it does have a lot more modern ideas than like the 40s or the 50s Sci-Fi’s. That’s going to be viewable for the 7:11 Sabbath nigh program.

Of course, tomorrow is the Sabbath day. Never forget that God told us to observe the Sabbath day and to keep it holy. If you really want to please God and you want to find reward from God, you will observe all of the Ten Commandments, including the fourth commandment. The fourth commandment being of course, the Sabbath commandment. Tomorrow is the Sabbath day of the Lord!

Until Monday, this is Bob Barney for The Plain Truth Today, thanking all of you that listen. I hope you tell your friends about us and that more people hopefully will come on board. I hope I feel better by Monday to have my voice back and my lungs back. Until then, have a safe and blessed weekend.
