FRIDAY WRAP UP WITH BOB: October 18, 2024 (Transcript)

Hi, it’s Bob Barney with The Plain Truth Today Midday report and it’s Friday wrap-up time.

This is the time where we wrap up the big headlines for the week and talk about some of the things that may impact you and your family in the future.

 Part of this is pre-recorded just to let you know as I do record some of it the night before to make sure to cover what has happened up to Thursday night. Then, I will finish this off Friday morning right before 10:30 in the morning. This way I can share any updates that need to be added. What you’re hearing now is what has happened before Thursday night.

0:38 The big news Thursday was that Israel killed the Hamas leader who had planned the entire October 7th raid from Gaza into Israel. As you remember, this was a massacre that took some 250 hostages, killed some 1200 Israeli Jews, as well as Americans.  His name is Yahya Sinwar and has been confirmed killed. He has been the terror chief and Israel’s been looking at him for a long time. He was caught by surprise as they didn’t mean to find him at that time. They didn’t know where he was, but all of a sudden, the soldiers came upon him and a couple of Hamas, they got in a gun battle and he’s dead.

1:27 Israel has been investigating whether Sinwar was killed in a ground operation by the IDF which left three other terrorists dead, with official confirmation expected coming in hours and it already came in by Thursday afternoon.

Another thing that happened Thursday, today when I’m recording this was that gold hit $2,700 an ounce again. It had fallen, it hit $2,720 I believe is the height about two weeks ago and then it retreated a little bit after the Fed lowered interest rates by half a point and it went back to about 2630, 2650, but it hit at $2700. I still believe possibly by the end of this month gold will be around 2750 and I believe it’s very, very possible that we will see a $3000 an ounce gold by the end of October, early November. Possibly even higher than that by the end of December! Now gold may take a little bit of a hit and go back down again, I personally believe, if Donald Trump is elected in a landslide in November. Why? Because people will then see that inflation will be stabilized, gas production and oil production in America will be ramped up, prices will come down, shipping costs will come down, food prices will come down, about everything will come down, and so will gold come down if that’s the case. But it’s still a good thing to have. Silver is about $31.50 an ounce and silver is probably one of the best deals you can do for a little bit of moneyinvested. I always do believe if you can, buy the physical gold coins or silver and keep it in a safe or in a safety deposit box.

One of the good things to do when you’re going to buy gold, I don’t really believe in buying gold bullion anymore, I used to, but gold coins is the way to go and especially gold coins that will go up higher than what gold itself will go up. There’s always an intrinsic value in certain gold coins, or even when you get some of these signature series gold coins that bring a big premium. Ed Moy, who was the modern-day director of the Mint under Ronald Reagan, who really started the Mint into this proof business and is really the father, like I said, of the modern Mint and of where we are today. He has a program where he signs about 100 gold coins of each variety each year, maybe a little bit more than that. He does it with platinum and palladium and the silver coins as well. Anything he signs; it’s always going to be the best coin. It’s what’s called an ultra cameo, which means it looks like a mirror. And when you put it up to a mirror, you take a picture of it, it looks black in the background and the foreground looks like the gold coin or the silver coin. It’s just an incredible look to it. If you ever had a chance, look up, go to your search engine and say, Ultra Cameo Coin, and you’ll see some examples. But whatever he signs the value goes up.

I’ll give you an example. In 2012, there was a Buffalo gold coin and at the time I believe the price in 2012 was about maybe $1,200 or less and when he signed it was about, I think because he always gets a premium on his signatures, I think it sold for $1,800 or $1,900. Well a gold today is worth $2,700 so that gold coin is worth about $2,700 in physical gold yet because Ed Moyes signed it and there’s only a limited amount from that and it’s a very rare year, that coin right now if you look it up is worth about $6,000 to an investor. So that’s why sometimes buying gold coins within an intrinsic value is a double safety net.

(6:17) Another story we had on Your Health Today, was the story about the World Health Organization officially confessed what The Plain Truth’s been telling you for five years, that COVID shots cause monkeypox. It also causes a host of other maladies when you take that shot. The report confirmed admission is buried deep in the WHO’s webpage among the known side effects using Pfizer’s BioNTech vaccine, WHO now lists monkeypox, smallpox, cowpox, along with a long list of threats that you can get by taking the COVID vaccine. Why anybody today, with all the knowledge out there, would take a COVID vaccine, they really would need to have their head examined. At the same time, Congress this week grilled Anthony Fauci, also known as Dr. Death, on how much royalty payments he got from these vaccines. We did a story about this last week. It’s, you know, government scientists working on the government payroll. He’s the highest paid employee in the United States government. He’s paid more money a year than a President of the United States.

Just think about that.

(7:16) He’s also allowed to keep the royalties of the patents that he holds personally, working on your dime, but there’s a loophole in the government law which allows government scientists to patent the products they discover while they’re working for you, and they can receive royalties. His royalties for the COVID vaccine amount to some $300 million. If that doesn’t bother you, I don’t know what else can because he had a special conflict of interest idea of when he was promoting the covid vaccines. He didn’t tell people at the time that he was promoting you to get these vaccines that he was getting rich off of these vaccines himself personally.

The other big story of the week and probably most people would think is the biggest story of the week was we had a title on The Plain Truth called Kamala goes into the Fox den and comes out and dot dot dot dot…while she came out a little bruised up it’s still a very damning revelation of the real Kamala Harris. We’ve been trying to make sure the American people that listen to this program and read The Plain Truth understand about this woman. She is not anything like what the mainstream media is trying to say she is.

Fox News host Brett Baier revealed some fascinating facts about this interview that I think is going to sink her candidacy even more. He revealed about his contentious interview with Harris, including that she showed up 15 minutes late for the show on purpose. It was supposed to be a 30-minute show. They were going to do it from 5 to 5.30, but they knew that it had to go on at 6 o’clock, and so it takes time to wrap it up, and it takes about 20 minutes. So they thought if they can get there 15 minutes late, and by the time they’re ready to start they would only have a 15- or 20-minute segment versus a 30 minute. She could just filibuster the time, which she tried to do anyway. Baier suggested it was like the vice president’s team was trying to ice the kicker comparing it to a football team calling a timeout right before a big field goal attempt in an NFL game. Saying the vice president’s team also tried to shorten the time allotted for the taped interview.

He went on to say that members of her campaign were waving their arms frantically to try to get him to stop the interview and to wrap it all up and be done with it because they saw she was being butchered alive in this interview. Why? Because she just can’t put two words together coherently. Quote, we were supposed to start at 5 p.m. this was the time they gave us, he said, and they didn’t get to 515. Originally, we were, quote, again, we were going to go do 25 to 30 minutes, and they came out and said, maybe you can get 20. So it was already getting whittled down by the time they even arrived late, unquote. 

So I believe that interview and Brett Baer’s commentary about what happened behind the scenes is actually going to take all the wind out of the sail of the Democrats, the liberal left.

10:04 Again, I have to admit, I still believe there’s a part of me that believes that the Democratic Party, the people behind Bill Clinton, the people behind Barack Obama, the people behind the mainstream, and when I mean mainstream, I don’t mean conservative mainstream, I mean the mainstream Democratic Party, the party that makes all the calls. I believe they are not happy with the likes of Bernie Sanders. After all, they picked Joe Biden out of his coffin in order to make him run and beat Bernie Sanders who would have been a Democratic nominee in 2020 if the Democrat DNC did not conspire to stop Bernie from becoming the nominee. So they are not very happy with Harris in my opinion, or all these other communists and they realize that they’re destroying the Democratic Party. I think they were gleefully happy that she had, they talked her into doing the show to save her career and knowing she would mess up royally.

If you remember during the 2020 presidential primaries in the Democratic conventions or Democratic primaries I should say, if you remember it didn’t take very long before she her campaign unwound by her being caught in lies and Just Tulsi Gabbard just absolutely destroyed her in the first debate. As a result, she went without a single vote.

So that is a big story, and I think it also puts the nails in her coffin on this election. I’ve been predicting for a while now, several weeks, actually probably going back to several months that I don’t believe the polls. 

I had a big story back in August about this. I don’t believe the summer polls. They’re only there for the deep state, for the Democratic Party. They’re beholden to them. As we get closer and closer to the real election day, these polls will become more and more accurate because they have to save some sort of credibility which they’re losing big time. Now all of a sudden, you’re seeing Trump starting to lead. I believe it’s going to be a blowout. I believe for the most part that Kamala Harris is going to go down as one of the worst defeatism the history of presidential elections. It might even be in the Reagan or even better yet the Nixon 1972 vote, which was still the biggest landslide ever.

12:31Another story I had, and it was from me, was when will Americans wake up about all of this and about Donald Trump and about his presidency? We keep hearing these things from the Democrats, from Kamala Harris and from others, how he’s going to be a tyrant. He’s going to take away your rights. He’s going to destroy the middle class, he’s going to turn the military on everybody, he’s going to arrest his opponents. Well, he was a president for four years. Did he do any of that? Did he have a track record as such? Do people not remember all of the companies that came back to America in the first two years of his presidency?

13:09 Do we not remember all the companies where Trump would actually go and visit, and they would talk about all the bonuses they were paying to their people at the time. Banks were paying bonuses to people. All kinds of corporations and factories were paying bonuses to people that never had gotten a bonus in their entire career. Does anybody even remember that during the Trump years? More women were in the workforce than ever before? More blacks, more Hispanics, more whites, more middle class, more lower class, and everyone was making more money. Does anybody remember that when Trump brought forth the tax cut, it helped the middle class 10 times more than it helped the very rich? These commercials you see that he’s only giving tax cuts to billionaires is an absolute lie. I wish there could be truth in advertising when it comes to these lies.

14:01 Does anybody remember how nice it was to live before the COVID epidemic in the first three years of the Trump presidency? Well, I do. I did very well in our business because of it and that was after many, many years of struggling under both Republican and Democrat rule, because they were the same. As Dr. Michael Savage says about our government, our government is really nothing but a large turkey with two wings. The left wing is the Democratic Party, and the right wing of the turkey is the Republican Party.  I think he’s quite accurate about that, to be honest.

14:40 So I just wonder how short of a memory some Americans have.

I hope, and I think I’m right, I think most Americans, most Americans who go out every day and work and pay the bills and do everything that is supposed to be the right way to do things. I think those Americans do remember how it was under Donald Trump’s presidencies before COVID came. COVID was a plot by the deep state to dethrone Donald Trump before he put them out of business, because that is what was going to happen under Donald Trump. He was going to war against the CIA, the national security, the FBI leadership, and all of these bureaucrats in the sewer. I don’t call it the swamp. I told you that yesterday. It’s the sewer. Washington DC and all the deep state are in the man-made sewer that stinks to high heaven and full of every kind of infectious disease against the American people that you can count on. I do remember the Trump years and I remember them fondly. I did very well, and I think most of you listening to me did very well during those years. 

We’ll take a little bit of a commercial break here. I want to talk about, I always do this on Friday, on different things that you get from The Plain Truth. The idea of vaccines is not a wrong thing. I am not an anti-vaxxers, people try to think that I am. I am not. The scientific method behind vaccines is accurate. Vaccines try to mimic nature. In nature, you get a small, let’s say, for example, you get sick with a smallpox. Let’s say you get sick with a smallpox, but you don’t die. Well, your body builds natural immunities. Well, what the vaccine did, when Edward Jenner invented it originally, what the vaccine did was give you a little bit of what your body could fight and then make the antibodies itself to fight that disease. And unfortunately, today, that’s not what’s in your vaccines. It’s full of chemicals, preservatives, mercury, heavy metals, you name it, poisons, plain old poisons.

(19:00) So we’ll go back to the Friday wrap-up now again and the news that happened since I recorded the beginning, and this is what it was. Last night we saw Donald Trump at the Al Smith dinner, and he was really funny with this, what it thinks he was making fun of other people, not himself, even mentioned that if Kamala Harris loses Chuck Schumer still could be the woke Democrat Party’s first woman elected president and he also made the quip about I’m not going to take shots at myself since everybody else is doing it, which I thought was pretty funny in reference to the assassination attempts.

A story that we’re going to have on the Plain Truth Message Board today that I really think people should look at, and it has to do with Your Health Today, it has to do with your security, it has to do with everything, and this is coming to organ donors. I remember back in, I think, 1977 or 78, I was just out of college, and I remember organ donors was a big thing back then, put it on your license, which I never have done. I remember saying, how do we know when the price of organs is going to be so much money for doctors to make a fortune, how do we know that people are not going to be murdered in order to get their organs.

20:27 When they bring you in, let’s say they bring you in from a car accident and you’re in critical condition, and they look at your license to see who you are, and they see that you’re an organ donor, is there a, could there become, and I pose this to all my friends, could there become a time when doctors decide, well, this person, let’s not save him and make sure we can get his organs because we can get hundreds of thousands of dollars from livers, kidneys, hearts, whatever else, eye pupils and eyeballs and everything else or even selling the rest of the cadaver to schools for research. In the Daily Mail today this morning I was perusing, drinking my coffee, and here’s a situation where a man was prepared! He was declared dead, and he was being prepared to have his organs harvested on the gurney or on the operating table, and guess what? He wakes up and starts screaming. If that is not a wake-up call for everyone else who’s decided to become an organ donor,

I don’t know what else is. In this state that we’re in today, I would not trust big medicine, big pharma, big government, big anything, and I would definitely not, in any way, trust big medicine! The idea that I believe a body in parts for organs is probably worth a quarter million to a half a million dollars to the doctors and to the hospitals that harvest these organs and sell them to other institutions for other people. I would be very suspect, to say the least, about donating any organs right now. I would just, just as a matter of principle, because of the fact, you can have loved ones decide after the fact that you’re dead and they decide when they come out to say your patient’s dead, could we have his organs? If you really believe you should do that, then maybe your family can make that decision after they’re quite sure you’re dead. Doctors don’t have an organ donor card on you, so they don’t anticipate the family’s going to say yes, so I don’t think they will try to lie to the family and try to get the organs that way, but I’m very suspect about anything today trying to get information from you or getting you to donate anything.

You have got to be careful about who you donate money to, especially these, most of these are family charity trusts, charitable trusts. A lot of these charities are just scams to make money, and you know, 30-40% of the money they raise goes to their own pockets, and you just have to be careful in America today.

Also, I want to say, pay attention to these podcasts over the weekend, and a Sunday especially, because we’re going to have some really revealing podcasts, not from me, but some video podcasts or some videos off of YouTube of exposing Harris and her really deep, dark, secret past. They go into her past when she was in California, and just how awful of a person she really is. We’re going to have some other things, we’re going to have a Tucker Carlson show, and some other ones on the plaintruthtoday.com, so if you go to the plaintruth.com, you can find everything we have from Your Health Today, to the Message Board, to the podcasts, but you can also go to theplaintruthtoday.com, and you can get right to the broadcasts. We have three of them a day now, minimum. Some days we might even run more, but there will be a 7-11 in the morning, a 7-11 in the evening, and then a noontime, 12-01 p.m. noontime, which this show is now playing mostly.

I’m doing most of my longer daily shows at the noontime hour, rather than the 7-11 morning. Usually in the morning we’re running a very short, brief update for the day, or some subject that I’m talking about that I think you can talk about in seven minutes. I’ve done some of these at 7-11 minutes, at 7-11 in the morning. I don’t know if I’m going to always keep it to 7 minutes and 11 seconds, but it was just something I thought was kind of neat.

(27: 09) Tomorrow, of course, is the Sabbath day. We always end this Friday wrap-up talking about God’s Sabbath day is Saturday, as we call it, Saturday, not Sunday, and God’s law, the Ten Commandments, says honor the Sabbath day and keep it holy, and we try to promote God’s law, because when you follow God’s law, you’re blessed. The Sabbath day commandment is a commandment with a special blessing attached to it. When you follow the Sabbath day, you do not lose your identity. The reason the Jews know who they are, and Israel, lost Israel, does not have their identity, and they don’t know who they are, is because they lost the Sabbath day and adopted Sunday as the day of worship, where the Jews kept their Sabbath day, and the Sabbath is a mark command. It’s a mark on your head and your forehead and your forearms, I’m sorry. It’s a mark that you will remember who you are and who your Lord and God is through the Ten Commandments, and that’s the seventh day. And we always have at 7-11 in the morning, and sometimes we have other things throughout the day on the podcast, on the Plain Truth Today podcast, that at 7-11 in the morning, we have usually a Sabbath show that usually explains things on more of a religious note.

It’s more of an update on what you should be doing when it comes to religious. It’s the closest thing to religion we really get to on theplaintruth.com, but it’s still part of the news, because like I keep saying, God is news, God is the headlines, God is the history books, and God is the future headlines that you’re going to read about in the future.

So it’s very important to keep up on what’s going on and to keep up on reading the Bible, understanding prophecy, and hopefully listen to this show and keep your mind open to other shows and other broadcasts that talk about God. A lot of stuff is not accurate, but a lot of stuff is, so that’s what I’m saying.

So tomorrow is the Sabbath day. We will have our Sabbath shows on the podcast, and we also, the message board has a lot of information that we always put back to the top on the message board on the Sabbath day that explains why we know the day begins in the morning, for example, not in the evening, as the Jews and most Christian Sabbatarians follow an evening day, which is not biblical in any way. It’s following the Jewish Babylonian calendar, which is just not accurate. The real calendar of God, we also explain quite well that it’s a solar calendar. It is not a lunar calendar, and you can prove that in the Bible itself, and we do so. We also have a lot of other Bible as history and go through things in Bible as anthropology and archaeology, and we have stuff on the message board on Saturdays. We stick it to the top, so when you go to the message board, the first five or six, sometimes ten messages you see are not brand new. They’re things that we artificially put back there so you can read about things concerning the Sabbath day, religious events, or things that you should know about your God, and God wants you to know about them. I read something, or I saw something, I think it was on Instagram, that says the Bible is the only book ever written where the author is in love with his reader, and God is in love with you. God loves you. God wants you to follow his way.

God wants you to be saved.

God wants you to make it into the kingdom. God does not want to see anyone die, and you can read that almost word for word in the Bible if you look for it. Then Sunday, remember, we always have a good Sunday show. Usually, it’s an hour or two. It’s going to be a Tucker Carlson show, and I believe it’s two hours, and it’s something you’re going to really want to watch. It’s Sunday. It starts 7-11 in the morning and runs all day long. You are definitely going to watch that show.
