Bob Barney: The Identity of Modern Nations from the Bible (Transcript)

Hello, this is Bob Barney for theplaintruthtoday.com and welcome to another edition of the show. Anyone who has read The Plain Truth or heard this show or listened to this show, I should say, for a while, understand we see it very important for everyone to understand just who the nations of the world are today. And if the Bible is the Word of God, which I believe is provable without doubt, then the Bible must somehow tell you where the players are for the end time.

And again, I want to make this clear, I am not sure, like a lot of other people out there, that we are yet in the very end end time. We are in the end time because the apostles said they were living in the end time. So the end time started with the resurrection of Jesus Christ back to heaven on the day of Pentecost or 10 days before the day of Pentecost. So we are in the end times, but we may not be in the times which the Bible calls the Great Tribulation. And that may not happen around the corner, though we should always be aware to look for signs that it could be happening. But one of the things that’s very important that I think that is overlooked by so many people and so many theologians and scholars is the identities of the modern nations. Where do they come from? The Bible records different people. We all come from the family of Noah. And Noah had three sons that are the three races, something I think most people have never even contemplated. But the reason there are three sons mentioned is because Noah obviously had three wives, in my opinion, one being black, one being yellow, and one being white. And Shem’s mother was not the woman that was on the ark, and that is why the Bible does not record her name. Isn’t it interesting that the Bible does not record the name of Noah’s wife? And I think you’ll find the reason is the Bible is only concerned with the man called Abraham and his family and his descendants. And even if you are a Christian today and you are not from the house of Israel, you are a Christian as an adopted heir of Abraham. Abraham was God’s friend, and God blessed Abraham with the greatest blessing that any man on earth has ever received. He was the most important man who ever lived, and the Bible is a book about Abraham’s family. So if it doesn’t really include Abraham’s family, the Bible really doesn’t get into it. It gets into Abraham’s family and descendants, and sometimes their enemies. But we notice, we know there’s an Adam and we know there’s an Eve, but we do not know the name of Noah’s wife.

We know the name of Moses’ wife, and we know the name of Jacob’s wives. We know the name of Abraham’s wife, Sarai, later Sarah, but we don’t know the name of Noah’s wife. And I think there’s a reason for that. I think there is a clue when you’re reading the Bible, and you might want to go read the flood story, and this might just absolutely knock the socks off for you that you never thought about this. It says, when Noah was 500 years old, he begat three sons. Did he have triplets? Did his one wife have triplets, and they were the three races coming out of that, triplets? Or did he have three wives, and they all were pregnant at the same time? And one was a black wife from the house of Cain that was not wiped out. One was a oriental wife, and one was a white, Semite wife, Shem’s mother. And because after the flood, the Bible moves to Shem’s descendants until you get to Abraham, then it divides even further into Abraham’s descendants until you get to Jacob, and then the Bible really only records Jacob’s descendants. It keeps narrowing down who’s important. However, you do notice that when he was 500 years old, he had three sons of three races, and then that’s obvious he had three races because there’s three races that lived through the flood. And that’s the simple fact, it seems to me. But we’ll get off that subject right now. What is important is if God is God, and he wrote the Bible, and he inspired those who did write the Bible, why would he talk about Ethiopia and Libya and Put and all these other places, but not realize there was going to be United States of America, there was going to be an England, there was going to be a Germany, there was going to be a Japan, there was going to be a Russia, there was going to be a China? Or are they really mentioned in the Bible with their old ancient names? When you read about Gog and Magog from the area of Rosh, it’s Russia they’re talking about. When it’s talking about where Assyria ended up, we talked about this in an earlier show, Assyria were the white, Anglo-Saxon type white people that lived in the Middle East where Abraham came from. He was a close relative, you could say, of the Assyrian people.

And when the Assyrians took ancient Israel, the 10 northern tribes into captivity, they lived in the Assyrian world until Babylon, which is today modern Iran, pushed them through the Caucasus mountains, and that is why they’re called Caucasians to this day, and moved them into the land of Hungary and further into Poland and then into Germany, Switzerland, France, used to be called Gaul with the Romans, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, and eventually Great Britain, Ireland, and Scotland. And we talked about in earlier shows that the name Israel belongs to only one tribe. Jacob was renamed Israel by God when they wrestled one night, and it’s a story that’s pretty funny when you read in the Bible, but the Bible says that one night Jacob was going to meet his brother and wrestle with a man until morning, and he was beating the person, and then the person touched his hip and put it out of joint, and he realized it was an angel of the Lord, and the angel of the Lord is just another word for the word of the Lord, or Jesus Christ, and he said, I won’t let you go unless you bless me. And the angel of the Lord, who is Jesus, said to Jacob, what’s your name? And he says, Jacob, well, you’ll no longer be called Jacob, you will be called Israel because you have struggled with God and you have prevailed. And that’s what the name Israel means, and that’s what Jacob did his whole life. And so when you hear about the 10 lost tribes of Jacob, I’m sorry, of Israel, you’re really hearing about the 10 lost tribes of Jacob’s sons, and Israel was the name God gave Jacob. So just always remember, when you hear of Israel, think of Jacob. The Jewish people today have no right to the name Israel. Their land should be called the nation of Judah, which it is called rightfully in the Testament of your Bible, in Chronicles and in Kings, and in the time after the division of the kingdoms, the northern tribes were called Israel and the southern tribes were called Judah. Wherever the tribe of Joseph was became Israel. We’ve talked about this before, but I want to talk about other nations and where they are today, and what I think we have to look forward to, or we have to watch out for. We have a subject on the Plain Truth main page and also in the message board area, and it’s really watch Europe, because Europe is going to be very important in the end times, and we are going to see a reunification of a Holy Roman Europe, and it will devolve into a dictatorship and a beast government, and it is the beast, one of the beasts of Revelation. Also, we’re going to see a rise of Japan, in my opinion, because Japan is Japeth, the son Japeth, that’s Japan, the Oriental race. Japan is going to be a major player in our lifetime, even if it’s not the end of the world yet, or really the end of the world anyway. It’s the end of this age when Christ returns, and it will be a better time, but Japan is progressing along right now to become a world power again. When they lost World War II to the Allies, to the United States, General MacArthur was placed in charge and was almost like an emperor of Japan, and he wrote their constitution, and he outlawed war for them. He outlawed them to have a navy or an army or an air force, and he did so for a very good reason, and that reason is that he understood rightfully so that if he did not outlaw war, the militarist that controlled Japan before the war could take over again and drive Japan into another war. The Japanese people were a warlike people, and MacArthur wanted to swing them a little left of center, even though MacArthur was quite conservative.

He saw a need to kind of pattern Japan a little left of center, excuse me, a little left of center, more Democrat than Republican, I guess you could say, and again, MacArthur was a Republican, because he saw that the Japanese people were always under the influence of those who wanted to invade other countries and become warlike. They were the samurai culture and the culture of violence and the actually idea of kamikaze pilots. I mean, the Japanese people in World War II were willing to get in airplanes, get strapped in there, liquor it up, and take an airplane with a bomb and run it into the side of an aircraft carrier or destroyer or battleship and try to blow it up and sink it. There’s not too many countries in the world where hundreds of people and a strategy became to kill yourself to kill even more, suicide bombing. We hear that today from some of the Arab nations when they strap bombs to little kids and to women and stuff like that, but basically, the leaders aren’t doing it themselves. They’re just using a little bit of useful idiots there that don’t know any better. But Japan is going to be a force to wrecking with, and the part of this program now we’re going to go to is the cause of this next war we’re going to be in, and if it’s the world-ending war, I do not know. I don’t have breakfast with God every day. God doesn’t talk to me like He does all these little holy rollers out there. They seem to have breakfast and lunch and dinner with Him, and they’re always asking the Lord for this, and He’s telling them that, and He’s telling them this. Well, that doesn’t happen to me, so if you’re looking for someone who speaks every day with God and has breakfast with Him, lunch and dinner with Him, I’m not the guy you want to listen to. But I do read the Bible, and I know what God is saying in the Bible, and I know that the words in the Bible are from God, and so I know who the players are, and I also know God’s policies, laws, and what to look out for. We know from the book of Daniel, chapter 11 and 12, that the king of the north is going to be the same empire that was the fourth beast of Daniel, which was Rome.

So the Roman empire was going to go through seven resurrections, and the last one, a beast would come called the Antichrist, and he, with the commission of a pope, will be crowned a holy Roman emperor of Europe, and become a monster, and will war with the king of the south, and Daniel identifies that, and the king of the south is a United States of Islam, Muslim countries united across Africa and the Middle East under one dictator, and the two dictators will hate each other, they will go to war with each other, and eventually the king of the north will prevail and destroy the king of the south, and that is during the tribulation. The crusades, for you that can remember their history class, the crusades is actually foretold in the Bible as one of the wars that you read in Daniel of the king of the north and the king of the south, when the kings of the north and the holy Roman emperor, and in this case the popes were in charge, were attacking the Muslims in Jerusalem to free Jerusalem from Muslim rule, and to make it a Christian city again, and so when you read about two crusades, you are actually reading about prophecies being talked about in the 11th chapter of Daniel, and you read Daniel, you can figure some of that out.

I even believe in Daniel you can even see a reference to Adolf Hitler, though I can’t prove that. However, I think the next war is going to be very similar to the end time war and World War I and World War II. World War I and World War II were a foreshadow of a World War III that is to come, and I think the same players are going to be in it, and I think those players are going to be Europe and Japan, and I think the two big losers, or actually three big losers in the next war, is the United States and the western allies that are really lost Israel, and again quickly lost Israel is United States, Canada, Australia, England, Scotland, Ireland, Scandinavia, France, Belgium, the Netherlands. That’s basically the lost 10 tribes. The other big loser is going to be China and Russia. Russia is not going to be the king of the north, and Russia is not going to be a world power when we go into the next war. They may cause this next war that we’re going into, but they’re not going to be very victorious. Russia is right now led by an idiot, and you’re seeing this when he went to war against Ukraine, and he’s proven to the world that he was nothing but a paper tiger, and he cannot beat this little country. Eventually he will beat Ukraine because of just sheer numbers, but he has destroyed his kingdom, because he is like a king, he has destroyed his kingdom over a war he should have never got into, and so he’s proven his stupidity on the world scene, and another one that is doing the same thing, although you’re not going to hear this on any of the news channels at all, I guarantee you, is Xi Jinping of China. China is doing something today that is the most idiotic thing that any leader could do. He is poking a dragon, pulling a dragon by the tail, and threatening to annihilate a dragon when he is talking about taking over Taiwan, the Taiwan Straits, which he claims is his, and warring with Japan. There’s this hatred between Japan and China that goes back many centuries, but especially because what Japan did to the Chinese people in World War II, and it was not pretty, but if Xi Jinping thinks that he can defeat Japan in a war, he’s got a lot of learning to come, and I believe he’s going to learn the hard way, because I don’t think he has the intelligence to realize that Japan is rearming.

They have built the first aircraft carrier since World War II. Think about that. Seventy-some years, and now they’re building an aircraft carrier, they’re building a navy, they’re building an air force, and I can guarantee you they’re building A-bombs and H-bombs that we don’t even know about. Can you imagine 1,000 Japanese jets with kamikaze pilots, each one carrying a hydrogen bomb, racing in about 28 minutes into Chinese territory, and within 28, 35, 40 minutes, annihilating every major city of China with nuclear weapons that would destroy a billion people in a fraction of a second? 9-11 on steroids that no one could survive, and that is what would be the fate of China if they keep poking at the tail of the dragon, and Japan is the dragon that is going to reunite under a militaristic power once this military is reformed and the samurai culture returns to Japan, which MacArthur was able to subdue now for some 70-plus years with the constitution that he wrote. But getting back to Europe, we have in the Plain Truths Message Board and on the main page, we keep talking about watching Europe, because what goes on in Europe is going to be affecting all of us, even in our lifetime, even if this is not yet the time of the Tribulation, because Europe is reuniting. It will eventually, right now they seem like a bunch of, what does Saturday Night Live call them, girly men? They all seem to be a bunch of girly men right now. Well, I can guarantee you that when the right leader starts to mesmerize the people of Europe, like Adolf Hitler and Mussolini did in the 1930s, Europe is going to turn into the monster that the Bible predicts it will become, and it will be another resurrection of the Holy Roman Empire, and they are going to be an enemy of not only the Muslim people to the south, but they are going to take over the European countries that we call Israel, lost Israel, and really enslave the Israelites, including America and Europe, under their domination. And so the people we’re worried about today, mainly Russia and China, are basically going to be out of the picture before they can ever harm us. I find it kind of stupid for people to think that China wants to go to war with America when we are their largest customer.

You know, if you are in business, and I am in business, I don’t really like to pick fights with the people who send me all my money. I kind of like to agree with them, and, you know, like any good businessperson, I kind of really want their business, and I really want them to send me their money, and I want them to like me. So I think the problems that we’re having with China are more on our end than they are with the Chinese end, because China just simply wants to make sure that they keep us as a customer. This is not being reported, but I know for a fact from people that I talk to that are in the know that the Chinese economy right now is in ruins, and it’s in ruins because Donald Trump’s tariff has finally affected their economy severely, and they are in a great recession, and it’s not really being reported because the Chinese do have influence over our media with great deals of money that they give to all the media stations, and the newspapers, and the magazines in the Western world. These tariffs that Donald Trump did have affected American businesses probably even more than it did the Chinese manufacturers. You know, China’s economies in the doldrums, but so is the American economy in the doldrums. You’re not hearing about it again because the media just is not reporting certain things, but we are going to have probably a pretty tough summer when it comes to the economy, especially if you’re a business in America, manufacturing business like my own business or my wife’s in my business, but if you have to get a lot of your raw materials from China, which is the only source on the face of the earth that have such materials. It’s a sad fact indeed, but it is the fact that many of the ingredients that go into products that you use every day are only found today in China, and we can thank the United States government and liberals, along with some good rhino Republicans for that nice piece of news, because it was their EPA, and their OSHA, and their government regulations and taxes against corporations that drove these businesses overseas in the first place. It’s not just for the cost of labor.

Many people are surprised when I tell them that a Chinese laborer makes almost two-thirds of what the average worker in America makes right now, and yet they are much better workers than Americans are right now. Their labor participation is nearly 100 percent. Of course, it’s a totalitarian government, and it better be 100 percent or somebody’s going to be missing that you can’t do that in America, but the Chinese are very productive, very good at what they do. They’ve been trained to do certain factory jobs that Americans just do not want to do, as well as the, like I said, the federal government of the United States just chased away so many of the raw material manufacturers in America back in the 70s, 80s, and especially in the last 25 years, more than any other thing. But going back to the main point here, China is going to face its reckoning, not by the Donald Trump in the United States, but someday by a re-armed Japan, and the real enemy that Americans and most people of the tribes of Israel, and if you don’t know that we’re of the tribes of Israel, what nations are lost Israel, then you’re going to be pretty lost about what nations are going to do what during the end times prophesied by Jesus Christ in the Bible, in Matthew 24. If you don’t know that Denmark, for example, is the tribe of Dan, and that France is the tribe of Reuben, and that modern-day Iran, making a lot of noise lately, a lot of headlines about Iran, just go to the plain truth, but they’re the old Persian kingdom, they’re the old Persians, Babylonians from the time of Nebuchadnezzar, and then you have the Assyrians, which the old-fashioned Assyrians, and they’re still Iraqis, many Iraqis are still of Assyrian lineage, bloodline, but the Assyrian people today, for the most part, are the people of Germany. Germany is the Assyrian people. If you don’t know the end-time players, you won’t figure out what’s going to happen, and one of the things that’s going to happen is going to be a revised Holy Roman Empire, led by a Pope, sorry to say that to you Catholics out there, and it’s going to have a Charlemagne-type character, an Antichrist, maybe coming out of Germany, Assyria, or maybe coming out of Italy, I’m not sure where it’s coming from, but we know the Antichrist, the King of the North of Daniel, is the Antichrist, and that person comes out of the Holy Roman Empire, either Italy itself, Rome itself, or Germany. Many people, including myself, has always believed it would be Germany.

However, there are some other people, and I have studied much about this my whole life, that think that the Antichrist will actually be of Black descent, be a Black person, out of Germany or out of Italy, that is a transplant there, don’t know. But anyway, we do know that there is going to be a revised Holy Roman Empire, that’s the King of the North, and that eventually, the Muslims are going to get their act together, and they’re going to make a United States of Islam, like the King of the North is really going to be like a United States of Europe. Europe is going to unite into, like a United States, many nations forming one nation, like many states forming one country of America, that’s going to happen in Europe, and it’s going to be the King of the North of Daniel. But the same thing, the same counterpart, is going to happen to the King of the South, found in the Book of Daniel, and that is a leader of the Islamic world, that’s going to dominate when times get ripe. And right now, it doesn’t look very good for the Muslim nations, with the Israel attacking and things like that, that’s happened and decimated the power plants and the nuclear capabilities of Iran, and it’s going to be interesting to see what happens. But these are the players that you have to understand, who’s what in the world today. If you don’t understand, it has nothing to do, by the way, just want to say this, has nothing to do with your salvation. Believing in Jesus Christ and obeying him, and obeying his laws, got to do that too, that is what gets you saved. But if you want to stay alive during the tribulation, if you happen to be here, because there’s no such thing as a secret rapture, doesn’t happen, if you’re alive during the time of the tribulation, you’re going to go through it, Christian or not. But if you want to know where it’s all going to come from, that’s when you need to study the Bible and the Old Testament prophecies, especially in Daniel and in Revelation in the New Testament, to figure out who the players are and where they’re coming from. And you’re going to see a lot of that in, I think, the future. It’s why I wrote the first article I ever wrote for the Plain Truth back in December of 2008, why the Middle East will always be in your future. And my friends, the Middle East is always going to be in your future, and it’s that simple. And even, it’s going to be a problem, a sore spot of your future for the entire time you’re alive before Christ returns. But after Christ returns, it’s going to be in your future, but it’s going to be good news of your future, because that is where God himself, Christ, is going to reign and live from, the city that we know today as Jerusalem, the city of David.
