What is happening in the United States today with all the violence and attacks on the left and the right and in the middle, wherever, the attacks around the world? Hi, Bob Barney for the Plain Truth today, and I want to get into again the root cause of all the problems we’re having today and what you can do about it for your own self and maybe what this country could do about it to protect itself. It just seems that every day you turn on the news there is some kind of violent act that just you never expected to have happened that day or any other day, and it just seems like there’s no time like this in the past. And, you know, from church killings to church bombings to church fires like we’ve just seen in the past few weeks to the shooting of people like Charlie Kirk and other politicians and the death threats against everybody who stands one way or another, it’s been going on for a while, but it’s getting worse and worse and worse.
What could be the reason? And I think when I get into what I say the reason is and what God says the reason is, I don’t think there’s anybody that can really argue the fact. But before I get into the violence in America, which is absolutely going out of hand right now, I also want to point out that Christians around the world, we’re not talking about just in general, everybody around the world are being persecuted by somebody else. Christians are being killed off by the dozens per day in Africa and Asia and other places in the Middle East and around the world because they are just simply Christians.
And it’s a crime against humanity, not only God, but against humanity that is not being carried by too many news shows in the United States of America, and I don’t think that many places around the world for that matter. It’s just like Christian martyrdom just is not important to most people in the world today. We have also in America and in places like Africa, Asia, and Europe, we also have violence from the left against the right, just in general.
What happened to Charlie Kirk, what happened to a lot of these other people who are on the right side, who are very conservative, who give a message that the left does not want to hear, and so a lot of them get death threats, shot at. Trump was shot at, what, two or three, not shot at, but attempted to be assassinated, what, three times in the last year alone. This is where we are today, and it’s not just America, my friends.
\I know it’s very easy to listen to the Democrats blame everything on America and everything on Trump. Well, Trump has his fair share of problems and a fault at what’s going on, but so do the Democrats in Congress. They probably have a bigger share of the problems in America that are going on, but there is a root cause, and the root cause is something that nobody wants to address, not in the mainstream media anyway, not in mainstream politics either, because to do so you’d have to be a nut, according to what people think today.
The reason for all of this violence, the violence going on in Paris right now, the violence going on in Europe, all over Europe right now, including Germany, and the violence you have in London and England in general, there are streets and areas of London, for example, the police do not even attempt to go to because it is under total Muslim control, under Muslim Sharia law, and it is not even really, if you want to be technical, a part of England. It really is not. It’s like a suburb of Iran or Iraq.
That’s what it really is, and this is a worldwide phenomenon. There is trouble in Japan. There’s trouble in Russia.
People don’t understand this, but there’s all kinds of rebellion going on inside of Russia as well, especially against the Ukraine war, but a lot of this unrest has an author. There is an author of confusion and unrest and violence and anarchism. There is an author, and the author is Satan the devil, and I know that many people do not want to believe that there is a devil, but guess what, my friends, there is a devil, and the devil is the god of this world.
You can read that in your own Bible. If you just go to a search engine and write Apostle Paul, the devil or Satan is the god of this earth, and you will find the relevant areas to go to in the Bible to find exactly what I’m talking about. Satan the devil was put in charge of this earth before man was even created by God Almighty, and man, Adam, was put on this earth to dethrone the devil to do a better job than the devil and to obey God and to become the master of the earth, but however, Adam fell under the influence of the devil because of his wife Eve and therefore lost his chance of immortality, of being God’s direct descending son and wife or daughter for that matter, and it was left up to God himself, the God who is now referred to as Jesus Christ.
He is the Word God of the Old Testament. Whenever you heard God speaking, whenever he’s appearing to Moses or to Adam and Eve or to King David or to any of the prophets, it’s none other than Jesus Christ. Well, the truth is that Jesus Christ as God in heaven along with the Father decided that he himself had to become a human being and come to the world and live a sinless life, no sin whatsoever, to prove that a human being could live a perfect life according to the laws that God set forth because the big excuse is mankind couldn’t do it, but Jesus Christ came to this earth as the Savior of us and what he has done is took our sins upon him when he was nailed to the cross and he gave us a way of redemption, and it’s very important that we realize that.
So, but until he returns, which is the beginning of the millennium, and I do not know when that’s going to happen, until he returns, the devil, Satan, the devil is in charge. He is the God of this world, and you can read that for yourself in the Bible. That was written after Jesus Christ was resurrected from the dead because God put Satan in charge.
Jesus Christ qualified to take charge, but he did not do so yet until he returns as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and that has not happened until the beginning of the millennium. So right now, the God of this world, the God who controls the strings of people in this world, is none other than Satan, the devil. That’s what your Bible believes.
You don’t want to believe me, and you don’t want to believe your Bible, then you may as well turn off right now because you’re not going to believe anything else I have to say. But if you do say you believe in God, the God of the Bible, if you say you believe in the Bible and that the Bible is the Word of God, then you have to admit that the Bible says that Satan is the God of this world, and it makes sense, does it not? Doesn’t it answer why so many people are at each other’s throats, why people are so, act like so insane, like they’re possessed? Maybe they are possessed is the exact answer. Well, that is all explained by the idea that this world is under the control of Satan, who is trying to deceive the entire world about the Christian message and trying to put in a false Christianity, a false religion, and one that does one thing and one thing alone, dispute God’s laws.
Because if Satan can get us not to follow God’s laws, like he did Adam, when he told Adam, you cannot die, God knew that when you ate of the fruit, you would have all this eternity and all this knowledge of God, and you would be like God. He deceived Adam, just like the churches today are deceiving the so-called Christian people out there who believe that the law of God, the Mosaic law, has been abolished. It has not been abolished, and they twist the writings of Paul all over the place to try to prove their point, but they don’t even try to twist Christ’s words because he was plain and clear in the red letters of a Bible.
He said, do not think that I’ve come to do away with the law or the prophets. I have not come to do away with them. I’ve come to magnify them and to fulfill them.He came to make the law spiritual. He actually came to make the law harder to follow, because before, as I said in a previous program, you could easily look at a woman with lust in your heart, but you did not commit adultery according to the Ten Commandments. But once Jesus came and made it a spiritual law, then he took the Ten Commandments and he made it from stone to spirit, and now when you look at a woman or a man with lust in your heart, you have committed adultery according to Christ.
Does that sound like he came to do away with the law, or does that sound like he came to magnify the law, to do what the law says has to be done in the spirit and not just in the flesh? And once we come to that conclusion and we realize we’ve been lied to, then a lot of the doubt or wonderment or questions we have about why what is going on is going on gets answered pretty quick. The devil’s in control. I’ll give you an example, and I’m not going to get into this too far right now, but I’ll give you an example.
It’s like anybody that’s reading the Plain Truth Message Board or other sources probably will know what I’m hinting at. But if your husband is condemned by a bunch of witches and they put a curse on your husband, going to the Catholic Church and asking for an exorcist priest to pray and reverse the curse of the witches is like asking the devil to reverse the curse on the curse he already given. And Jesus made it clear that the devil cannot stand against himself or his kingdom would fall.
You remember that line in the New Testament? Well, the same thing. If you’re going to call the devil, which is the Catholic Church exorcist, is just representing the devil to come and try to do away with the devil, the witch’s curse, then you are sorely mistaken and you are falling into false Christianity and you are being deceived and maybe being deceived for something that’s going to be awfully harmful in your life. Because once the devil has a foothold in your life, the devil don’t leave very easily.And that is why it’s so close to follow what Christ says to do, to obey what he says to do, and to continually pray to him to not be deceived. Christ warned us that many would come in his name, deceiving the many, and warned us over and over again. And so did the Apostle Paul, so did John, so did the Apostle Peter.
They all warned us of a false gospel, of false Christianity, of a gospel being taught that had nothing to do with them, what they brought to their people. We have to be aware of that, and that’s what’s going on around America and around the world today. We are seeing the devil, which I think, I can’t prove this, but I think the devil is in the last pangs of realizing his kingdom is coming to an end on this earth, because he’s going to be replaced by Jesus Christ.I do not know when that’s going to happen, but it is going to happen. And so maybe the time is running really short for the devil, and he’s now trying to get as much accomplished against God’s purpose as possible, and that’s why he’s going berserk, because these people around the world are going berserk.
It’s not just in America.I know the leftists and the liberal Democrats want to say this is an American problem, it’s a Donald Trump problem, it’s, as Hillary Clinton said, it’s a Christian white male problem. Then why is there violence in Sweden, Norway? Why is there mass killings in those two countries alone? Why is the Muslim Sharia law taking effect in London and other parts of England? Why is France at the verge of a civil war? Why is Germany at the verge of a Nazi-like takeover a la 1930? Why is the same happening in Japan, the same happening in China, the same happening in Korea, and the same happening in Italy? It’s happening all over the world, no matter who’s in charge and no matter what military is trying to enforce themselves in charge. It’s happening because the force of the devil is to cause confusion for the entire world, trying to lead this world into a world war, and that’s the thing maybe we can do about preventing something, at least for the short time, if not in our lifetime, and if not for a long time, and that is we can’t fall victim to the devil’s divisiveness.
There was a Why We Fight series, there were five movies or maybe seven movies, but one of them was entitled Divide and Conquer. That is the devil’s plan, and that was always Hitler’s plan and the Japanese plan and all evil dictators of the world. Their plan is simply to divide and conquer.That is what the devil’s trying to do. He’s trying to divide us from the law of God, then he can conquer us. Hitler tried to divide the allies.
\He divided England from France and from Czechoslovakia. They played Divide and Conquer, and that’s what’s going on today, and Donald Trump is helping that along because he’s a divisive character. Right now, we need a president who is a unifying force and not a divisive force that we’re seeing.I think Donald Trump had some good ideas, but he’s run off the rails, and I think a lot of it has to do with his anger of what happened to him in his lawfare trials, which was absolutely unconscionable, illegal, and unconstitutional, what was done to Donald Trump. But Donald Trump needs to be a bigger man. He needs to be the man that God put in charge because I think God did save Donald Trump from that bullet, and I think Donald Trump owes God to do the right thing, not just this country, not just himself, but the God that saved his life.
He could have been the first Charlie Kirk, for example, if God had not had a purpose for him to try to save this country from what was happening and to bring law and order back to this country. Donald Trump has become arrogant. He’s become boastful, everything that God does not liken a leader, and the law and order he is bringing to this country is not the law and order that everybody can agree with, it’s the law and order to make him dominant over his enemies, and that is divisive.Needs to take a chapter from Ronald Reagan, who was able to bring Democrats and Republicans together, even though Republicans and Democrats never got together before Ronald Reagan too easily. You have to admit, when you watch videos of Ronald Reagan, even the debate with Walter Mondale in 1984, when he cracked a joke about his age and not making it an issue that Mondale was so young, you saw Mondale start to laugh. Many people said that was the end of his election when he laughed, but the point being was he even saw the humor in Ronald Reagan.
Ronald Reagan’s humor was not biting, cutting, divisive. His humor was unifying and uniting, and his presidency, if you want to believe this or not, was uniting, and that is what we need in this country. We need to get back to God’s principles, and one of the principles that God requires of the people who worship him is to show mercy. I desire mercy rather than your sacrifice and offerings. I desire obedience above all. God wants us to be obedient but also to show mercy for those who are underprivileged, those who are hurting, those who are in trouble.
We are not to be judgmental. God allows us to make judgments against people who are breaking the law, doing harm. That’s a different story than what we’re seeing right now.We’re seeing judgmental policies against people who technically may broke a law but not violently. If there’s a difference between a violent criminal and a non-violent criminal, if you don’t think so, I have news for you. If somebody in your family gets slaughtered by a violent criminal, you’re going to see the difference.
We need to get back to a leadership which makes Americans better with each other, more loving of each other, and more forgiving of each other, and unite this country, or Satan, with his divide and conquer politics, will succeed, and we will devolve into a civil war, and the outcome is basically the destruction of the nation as we know it. It’s closer today, I believe, than it was since 1859, 1860. I think we’re that close to a civil war like we were right before our civil war 150 years ago.
So it’s very important that we decide to start looking at the Bible, reading the Bible, and understanding what God wants our leaders to do and what he wants our people to do, to obey, to be
merciful, and to obey the law. That is that simple. And if we as a people, as a whole people did this, the United States would see a renaissance instantly, even in these terrible times. We would see a blessing upon this country we have not seen since the 1950s. But if this country refuses to do so, this country will continue to devolve into bloodshed and violence. However, there’s something you can do about it.You can still do something by reading the Bible, by making yourself right with God, confessing your sins to God, and not trying to make excuses for your sins, saying that I can sin all I want because I’m a Christian now and God doesn’t enforce the law. That’s just ridiculous. And you can go to God and ask for protection for you and your family and guidance on what you need to do.
That’s all you have to do. Get in a relationship with God the Father and God Jesus Christ, and they will tell you, somehow they will make it known to you what you need to do, and they can protect you from anything that can happen to you. Your church ain’t going to protect you.Your pastor’s not going to protect you. In fact, in certain cases, I think they’re going to condemn you and hand you over to the devil who controls those churches. You need to get on your own, think for yourself, read the Bible, believe what the Bible says, and you will see a difference, at least in your life.
If this country would just do the same thing, we would see an absolute turnaround in this country like overnight. That is, I think, the plain truth for today. A little shorter broadcast. I was really shocked with the news that I’m seeing lately about all this violence against churches, against people in the churches, against people on the right, some against the left, and just in general, everybody taking one side and not seeing anything from the other side. And when that happens and there’s no more communication, then you’re on the verge of a civil war. This is Bob Barney for The Plain Truth today.
