Because most of the time you watch the news, the news doesn’t mention that God is a part of
the news. And God, it says so in our Bible that anybody can read, God is in control of the world
leaders, God’s in control of everything.
He may have allowed Satan to go his way and he allows you and me to make our own decisions,
but God’s still in control. And whenever leaders think that they’re in control and they no longer
think God is in control, that makes things really difficult for their leadership. Before I get into
what I was going to talk to today, I just, again, want to give you the purpose of The Plain Truth.
And that is we try to tell you the plain truth, no matter what side you’re on. Many times you’re
not going to like what you hear, but what you hear is coming from the Bible. And basically, if
you’ve got a problem with what you’re hearing, you’re having a problem with what’s written in
the Bible and not what I’m saying on this program.

And a lot of people take issue to a lot of the interpretations I have, but the interpretations that I
give in the Bible are also given in the Bible. And I can show you that in this next series that I’m
going to talk about, Ezekiel versus Revelation, and show you an era or an area that theologians
almost 100% have mistaken about Ezekiel 37 and what it really means in today’s world, and
who the nation of Israel is. The problem when people read Ezekiel 37 and the Valley of Dry
Bones, and we’re going to play that, and I’ll stop it once in a while and give you my uptake on it
all, but the problem is they believe that Ezekiel 37 has been fulfilled, the Valley of Dry Bones,
when Israel was restored, or so they say, in 1948 when the Jews went back to the land of
Palestine and started the nation they call Israel, which, as I point out over and over and over
again, they have no right to the name Israel.

The name Israel belongs with the tribe of Ephraim, and you can find that over and over and
over again in the The Ephraim is the one tribe that owns the name, really, of Israel, Joseph in
general, but Ephraim, the younger, which is the United States of America in particular. So the
name of the nation that we call Israel today, biblically, would be called Judah, and we will see in
Ezekiel and also in other places of the Bible where it is not until really after the millennium that
Israel and Judah reunite as one nation in a new heaven and a new earth. But let’s start with
Ezekiel 37, and we’ll go through that line by line, and you’ll see what I’m talking about.
And I’ll prove it with the words of the Bible, not mine. 37. The Lord took hold of me, and I was
carried away by the Spirit of the Lord to a valley filled with bones.
He led me around among the old dry bones that covered the valley floor. They were scattered
everywhere across the ground. Then he asked me, Son of man, can these bones become living
people again? Oh, sovereign Lord, I replied, you alone know the answer to that.
Then he said to me, speak to these bones and say, dry bones, listen to the word of the Lord.
This is what the sovereign Lord says. Look, I’m going to breathe into you and make you live
again.

I will put flesh and muscles on you and cover you with skin. I will put breath into you and you
will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.
Now a question I have right here is, is this sounding like a nation being reborn or does this
sound like a physical resurrection of dead people that people with their bones, which is all
that’s left of many skeletons, are going to have muscles put on them again, and you’re going to
see in a minute, and then God’s going to breathe into them the breath of life. Is that something
we’re talking about a nation coming back together or a single type of people being brought
back to life, a resurrection of the dead? And that is really what we’re talking about here, and
we’ll go on to show this. So I spoke these words just as he told me.
Suddenly, as I spoke, there was a rattling noise all across the valley. The bones of each body
came together and attached themselves as they had been before. Then, as I watched, muscles
and flesh formed over the bones.

Then skin formed to cover their bodies, but they still had no breath in them. Then he said to
me, speak to the winds and say, this is what the sovereign Lord says. Come, oh breath from the
four winds, breathe into these dead bodies so that they may live again.
These dead bodies so they may live again. Do you remember in Genesis when God created
Adam and Eve and he created Adam first? He formed him out of the dirt of the clay, and man,
the actual name for Adam just means red dirt, that he had to breathe into his nostrils the
breath of life. So man did not become a living being until God breathes into this physical body a
breath of life.

That’s what you just heard happening here. We’re talking about a time in the future when dead
people come back to life, and they’re not coming back to spiritual life. We’ve gone through 1
Corinthians 15, where we see what happens with Christians.
When they die and they’re resurrected from the dead, they are resurrected to an immortal
body. You see that in 1 Corinthians 15. I won’t get there now, but I’m just saying you read 1
Corinthians 15, and you will see how and when the dead in Christ come back to life.
They’re not in heaven today, they’re in a grave waiting for Christ to return, and in Revelation
and in 1 Corinthians 15, it is clear when that happens, when they come back to life, is at the
moment Christ appears in the heavens to return to this earth, to take it away from mankind
and Satan the devil, and to establish his kingdom, which is called the millennium, or a
thousand-year reign of Christ. But what we’re going to see here in Ezekiel, this is not happening
now, or 1948, or even when Christ returns to start his millennium. Ezekiel 37 actually happens
with a general resurrection, not a resurrection of Christians, but a resurrection of all of those
who were not Christians, all of those Israelites who refused to listen to God and get his Holy
Spirit, which is the majority of all Israel and Jews, Judah.
And you’re going to see, and I’m going to prove to you, that Ezekiel 37 happens after, not
before, the millennium. Let’s read on. So I spoke as he commanded me, and the wind entered
the bodies, and they began to breathe.

They all came to life and stood up on their feet, a great army of them. Then he said to me, Son
of man, these bones represent the people of Israel. They are saying, we have become old, dry
bones, all hope is gone.

Now give them this message from the Sovereign Lord. O my people, I will open your graves of
exile and cause you to rise again. Then I will bring you back to the land of Israel.
When this happens, O my people, you will know that I am the Lord. I will put my spirit in you,
and you will live and return home to your own land. Then you will know that I am the Lord.
One little question here. Do the Jewish people today living in the land we call Israel believe that
Jesus Christ is the Lord? Because that’s who’s speaking here. When he said they will know that I
am the Lord, this is Jesus saying that the Jewish people in a future time will know that he, the
person that they think is just a prophet or a man, not God, this is Jesus Christ speaking as the
Lord of the Old Testament.

That is who always speaks in the Old Testament is Jesus Christ, the Word of God, and he’s
saying that when this is fulfilled, the Jewish people, the people of Judah, will know that he, who
we call Jesus Christ, is their Lord. Let’s go on with this, and you’ll see, again, I can prove this.
You will see that I have done everything just as I promised.
I, the Lord, have spoken. Again, a message came to me from the Lord. Son of man, take a stick
and carve on it these words.

This stick represents Judah and its allied tribes. Then take another stick and carve these words
on it. This stick represents the northern tribes of Israel.
Now hold them together in your hand as one stick. When your people ask you what your
actions mean, say to them, this is what the sovereign Lord says. I will take the northern tribes
and join them to Judah.

I will make them one stick in my hand. This has not happened. The northern lost so-called ten
tribes are not a part of the Jewish people.
They are ten other nations. I’ve already gone over. The nations of Denmark is the tribe of Dan.
The nation of France is the tribe of Reuben. The nation of Holland is the tribe of Naphtali.
Joseph is America and England.

They have the title of Israel. Judah is the nation to the south that became known today as the
Jewish people. They are not the Israeli people mentioned of the lost ten tribes.
It’s very important you realize that, and if you don’t, you just don’t understand prophecy. This
has nothing to do with your salvation, by the way. Jesus Christ holds that key, but it has to do
with what’s going to happen.

If you want to know tomorrow’s headlines, you got to know who the players are, and you’re
hearing right now that there is going to be a time when God puts Judah and Israel together as
one nation. See who their king is going to be and when this happens, and I’m going to show
you when this happens with the words in your own Bible. Then hold out the sticks you have
inscribed so the people can see them, and give them this message from the sovereign Lord.
I will gather the people of Israel from among the nations. I will bring them home to their own
land from the places where they have been scattered. I will unify them into one nation in the
land.

One king will rule them all. No longer will they be divided into two nations. They will stop
polluting themselves with their detestable idols and other sins, for I will save them from their
sinful backsliding.
I will cleanse them. Then they will truly be my people, and I will be their God. My servant David
will be their king.
Did you hear that? My servant David will be their king. Is there a King David today in Israel, in
the nation we call Israel today? Do they even follow the real gospel of Jesus Christ in that
kingdom, which he says they will do? No, this has not happened yet. David has not been
resurrected from the dead yet.

He is going to be resurrected from the dead according to this, and will be the physical king of
this unified nation of Israel when Judah, the Jewish people, are finally reunited with the tribe or
the tribes of Israel. This is what’s being talked about here. It’s as plain as the words on your
Bible.
Let’s finish here, and then we’ll go to Revelation. They will have only one shepherd. They will
obey my regulations and keep my laws.
They will live in the land of Israel where their ancestors lived, the land I gave my servant Jacob.
They and their children and their grandchildren after them will live there forever, generation
after generation. And my servant David will be their prince forever, and I will make a covenant
of peace with them, an everlasting covenant.
I will give them their land and multiply them, and I will put my temple among them forever. I
will make my home among them. I will be their God, and they will be my people.
And since my temple will remain among them forever, the nations will know that I, the Lord,
have set Israel apart for myself to be holy. Well, I don’t think anybody who’s honest with
themselves could read what I just played for you and come to any conclusion that the 1948
formation of a nation called Israel by Jewish people fulfills this prophecy. Maybe Benjamin
Netanyahu believes that it’s been fulfilled.

Maybe Pat Robertson believes it’s been fulfilled. Maybe all of the evangelical Christians think
this was fulfilled in 1948. But just by reading the words on the page, you can see David is not
the king there.

They’re not following Jesus Christ as their Lord and God, and there is not peace in the land as
it’s talked about here. So we’re going to go to Revelation. We’re going to pick up this same
scenario of when things happen in Revelation, and what we get to is the great general
resurrection that happens only after the thousand years are completed.
And this is what is said in Revelation chapter 21, I believe. Then I saw thrones, and the people
sitting on them had been given the authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had
been beheaded for their testimony about Jesus, for proclaiming the word of God.
And I saw the souls of those who had not worshiped the beast or his statue, nor accepted his
mark on their forehead or their hands. They came to life again, and they reigned with Christ for
a thousand years. These are the Christians who came to life, and they come, if you read 1
Corinthians 15, you will see they came to life in spiritual form.
They become immortal gods upon their resurrection of the dead. They are not dry bones, they
get muscles and tissue put on them, and they do not need the breath of life breathed into their
nostrils. These Christians, if you are a Christian this time around, you don’t have to worry about
this next resurrection that Ezekiel 37 talks about.
And you’ll see that really plainly here in Revelation. This is the first resurrection. The rest of the
dead did not come back to life until the thousand years had ended.
Is that pretty plain? That the first resurrection only applies to Christians who have the spirit of
God, who follows God, and who follows the laws of God, who obeys God. Many Christians do
not, and they’re not members of the false Christian church warned of by the apostles Paul and
John and Peter that would occur, and actually did occur in their time. But we see that the
general resurrection of the dead does not happen until after the millennium is over, and there
is no Israel yet.

There is no unified Israel and Judah at this time. We’re going to see now in the next chapters of
Revelation the fulfillment of Ezekiel 37. Here it goes.
Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. For them the second death holds
no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him a thousand years.
When the thousand years end, Satan will be let out of his prison.
He will go out to deceive the nations from every corner of the earth, which are called Gog and
Magog. He will gather them together for battle. Now we read chapter 37 of Ezekiel, the valley of
dry bones, and a future resurrection which we will see in a minute happens after the
millennium and not before, and when Judah and Israel are reunited in one nation.
But now we got to Gog and Magog in Revelation, and let’s go back now to Ezekiel 38 and see
again what, after the valley of dry bones, we’re talking about Gog and Magog. This is going to
be after the millennium, not before the millennium. This is why so many Christian scholars who
believed Russia, because Gog and Magog is Russia, by the way, the prince of Tubal and
Meshach, Meshach is Moscow, and everyone realizes as biblical scholars that Gog and Magog is
Russia.

But they think Russia is going to attack the modern state of Israel because it’s in the Bible.
That’s not what the Bible says. Let’s go into Ezekiel 38, and we’ll go back to Revelation and
prove this happens after the millennium, not before.
Chapter 38. This is another message that came to me from the Lord. Son of man, prophesy
against Gog of the land of Magog, the prince who rules over the nations of Meshach and Tubal.
Give him this message from the sovereign Lord. Gog, I am your enemy. I will turn you around
and put hooks into your jaws to lead you out to your destruction.
I will mobilize your troops and cavalry and make you a vast and mighty horde, all fully armed.
Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya will join you, too, with all their weapons. Gomel and all its hordes will
also join you, along with the armies of Beth Togarmah from the distant north and many others.
Get ready, be prepared, keep all the armies around you mobilized and take command of them.
A long time from now you will be called into action. In the distant future you will swoop down
on the land of Israel, which will be lying in peace after her recovery from war and after the
return of her people from many lands.

So they’re going to attack Israel when Israel is safe with secure borders and they have no fear
of any enemy. That is not now, that is absolutely not now, and it’s not ever going to be until
Christ returns. And so again, here’s another clue.
It will be all solved when we get to, again, when we get back to Revelation. You and all your
allies, a vast and awesome horde, will roll down on them like a storm and cover the land with a
cloud. This is what the Sovereign Lord says.
At that time evil thoughts will come to your mind and you will devise a wicked scheme. You will
say, Israel is an unprotected land filled with unwalled villages. I will march against her and
destroy these people who live in such confidence.

I will go to those once desolate cities that are again filled with people who have returned from
exile in many nations. I will capture vast amounts of plunder and take many slaves, for the
people are rich with cattle now and they think the whole world revolves around them. But
Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish will ask, who are you to rob them of silver and
gold? Who are you to drive away their cattle and seize their goods and make them poor?
Therefore, son of man, prophesy against God.
Give him this message from the Sovereign Lord. When my people are living in peace in their
land, then you will rouse yourself. You will come from your homeland in the distant north with
your vast cavalry and your mighty army and you will cover the land like a cloud.
This will happen in the distant future. I will bring you against my land as everyone watches and
my holiness will be displayed by what happens to you. Then all the nations will know that I am
the Lord.

This is what the Sovereign Lord says. You are the one I was talking about long ago when I
announced through Israel’s prophets that in future days I would bring you against my people.
But when Gog invades the land of Israel… Notice the words, in future days you would attack my
people.

Those future days does not happen in our lifetime until Christ returns and then after the
millennium. We’ll finish up here and then go to Revelation. Says the Sovereign Lord, my fury will
rise for in my jealousy and blazing anger I promise a mighty shaking in the land of Israel on
that day.
All living things, all the fish, birds, animals, and people will quake in terror at my presence.
Mountains will be thrown down, cliffs will crumble, walls will fall to the earth. I will summon the
sword against you throughout Israel, says the Sovereign Lord.
Your men will turn against each other in mortal combat. I will punish you and your hordes with
disease and bloodshed. I will send torrential rain, hailstones, fire, and burning sulfur.
Thus will I show my greatness and holiness. I will make myself known to all the nations of the
world. Then they will know that I am the Lord.

And we will know that someday. The whole world will know that someday, but it is not this day
and it has not happened in 1948. Now we’re going to go back to Revelation, talking about this
famous battle between Gog and Magog on a peaceful Israel that is still basically probably
mainly Jews because we know that the nation of Israel and Judah is not yet united, but they’re
going to be starting to be united under the millennium, but then the actual reuniting, the
fulfillment of Ezekiel 37 and 38 happens now.
So let’s listen to when now is according to your Bible, not according to some scholar who really
doesn’t know who the players are. Mighty host as numberless as sand along the shore. And I
saw them as they went up on the broad plain of the earth that surrounded God’s people and
the beloved city.

But fire from heaven came down on the attacking armies and consumed them. Then the devil
who betrayed them was thrown into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur, joining the beast and
the false prophet. There they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
And I saw a great white throne and I saw the one who was sitting on it. The earth and sky fled
from his presence, but they found no place to hide. I saw the dead, both great and small,
standing before God’s throne and the books were open, including the book of life.
So you see this, this is the great general resurrection of all people who were not chosen by God
or we would know as Christians or pre-Christians that had the spirit of God in the Old
Testament, like King David, the apostles, that’s still Old Testament, New Testament, the
prophets like Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Isaiah, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. These are people that
were what we would consider still the people of God with the Holy Spirit, so they would be like
the Christians. They will be resurrected at the beginning of the millennium.
But all of the great resurrection people are those who have lived and never were Christians or
they were false Christians and deceived Christians and never the people that God chose. And
this is their judgment and how it all finally plays out. And the dead were judged according to
the things written in the books, according to what they had done.
The sea gave up the dead in it and death and the grave gave up the dead in them. They were all
judged according to their deeds and death and the grave were thrown into the lake of fire. This
is the second death, the lake of fire, and anyone whose name was not found recorded in the
book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.
Chapter 21. Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth for the old heaven and the old earth had
disappeared and the sea was also gone. I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down
from God out of heaven like a beautiful bride prepared for her husband.
I heard a loud shout from the throne saying, look the home of God is now among his people.
He will live with them and they will be his people. God himself will be with them.
He will remove all of their sorrows and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain
for the old world and its evils are gone forever. And the one sitting on the throne said, look I am
making all things new. And then he said to me, said it is finished.
I am the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end. To all who are thirsty, I will give the
springs of water of life without charge. All who are victorious will inherit all these blessings.
I will be their God and they will be my children. But cowards who turn away from me and
unbelievers and the corrupt and murderers and the immoral and those who practice witchcraft
and idle worshipers and all liars, their doom is in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. Their
doom is in the lake of fire.
There’s no immortal soul, my friends. There’s no teaching in the Bible that you have some
immortal soul that you’re going to spend either in heaven when you die or tormented in hell if
you’re bad. The plain truth of God’s plan for you is to make you into his children physically,
spiritually.

You will actually be born again, if you are a Christian, as a spiritual God being like the brother of
Jesus Christ. That is what your ultimate destiny is. That’s why abortion is so horrible and killing
is so horrible because man is trying to kill off future gods.

But for all of those people who did not know this the first time around, after the millennium,
after Satan is put away, after this Gog and Magog, Ezekiel 37-38 deal, then God is going to then
bring every person who has ever lived back for judgment. And some, as you just saw, the list of
those are going to be thrown into the lake of fire when the books were opened because their
name is not found in that book of life, and they will be thrown into the lake of fire, the second
death, where there is no more consciousness, there is no more thinking, there is no more
person there. They’re going to be brought back to physical life, then judged.

And the people who did well, even though they didn’t understand who Christ was, or they
misunderstood, or they were fooled by false Christian churches, they will be judged, and if they
lived good lives, decent lives, they were good people, then God is going to allow them to
continue to live alive in the flesh, and that is why there are still fleshly beings past the
millennium. Eventually, we don’t know when, I don’t think we know when, if somebody has an
idea they can always email me, but there’s a time when I believe the human race ends in the
post-millennial time when there’s a new heaven and there’s a new earth, and then all of those
still alive will someday instantly turn into a spiritual son or daughter of God and become like us
Christians, if we make it, as the first resurrection, then they will not have to worry about the
second death themselves. That’s the plain truth of God.

That is the gospel. That is the good news. That is the news.

I always called Jesus a newscaster. Had somebody write me and said, he’s not a newscaster, but
he is a newscaster. He is the only accurate newscaster that ever existed.
Any word that came out of any prophet came from Jesus Christ. Any prediction ever came from
Abraham all the way up to John the Baptist all came from Jesus Christ, because he is the God of
the Old Testament, and so, yes, Jesus Christ is a newscaster, not just our God, not just a
prophet, not just our Savior. He is also the most accurate newscaster, and he’s predicting
tomorrow’s headlines for you, and we’re trying to play them for you on the pages and on these
broadcasts of the plain truth and the plain truth today.

That is the story. That is the gospel of God. It’s very simple.

Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand it. Listen to the words. Believe what God says.
Abraham believed what God says, and God credited that as righteousness. If you believe what
God says, believe it with your whole heart, and if you doubt it and you ask God to give you the
faith to believe in it, you yourself will pass from death to life, and you will be a part of either the
first or second resurrection and not be thrown into the lake of fire. Bob Barney for the Plain
