The Plain Truth is so Happy That You Have Been Enjoying Bob’s Broadcasts.
2000 years ago, a newscaster that we know of as Jesus Christ warned us about false Christianity. The warning was not against the devil but against false Christianity…about people who come in His name and deceive many.
Well, the big bombs went off Saturday night and the United States attacked the Iranian nuclear facilities. And this is Bob Barney with theplaintruth.com and plaintruthtoday.com. This is the Plain Truth Today broadcast, Monday. And we’re talking about the Air Force strike on the Iranian nuke facilities over the weekend, Saturday night at two o’clock in the morning, Iranian time. And I honestly believe, to be honest, that Donald Trump did the right thing. I do not think we can allow, the world could allow, these fanatics in Iran to have nuclear weapons. Now, the question is, were they as close to having nuclear weapons as Netanyahu was suggestion, especially when he said this in 1996, he said it in 2012, he said it in 2015, he said it in 2020, and he said the same thing just a month ago.
So it seems like sometimes they’re saying things like weapons of mass destruction in the second George Bush administration that led us into a war that maybe was more political than it was anything else. And politics will take a big part in this. I find it funny, Barack Obama has something to say about already, that they needed to go to Congress. He never went to Congress when he shelled the crap out of people in the Middle East and in other places. And the Democrats and Congress are talking this is an impeachable offense. Of course, everything is going to be impeachable offense. If Republicans lose the midterm elections next year, Donald Trump’s going to be impeached. I don’t care if Donald Trump was Jesus Christ, he would be impeached. I mean, that’s just the politics that we’re into today.
The Democratic Party, thank God, for one thing, they are the one sole reason if the Democrats lose the House, which they should win easily in this half year election, with some of the mistakes that the Trump administration has done, especially economically. But leave it to the Democrats to absolutely destroy themselves and do the Republicans a favor. And I actually think if they continue down this road of anti-Americanism, anti-middle class, and anti-military involvement, I believe that the Democrats are just going to hand the Senate and the Congress, the House, back to the Republicans again, even though they really have deserved to lose it. But you can’t expect the American people to vote for people who just simply are anti-American. There is not very many people in the Democratic Party who was against this raid that is honestly against this raid because they think it was not constitutional. Of course, they know it was constitutional. This is not a war. This was not a declaration of war. You’re going to sit around.
Let’s say, I’ll give you an example. Let’s say Donald Trump knew that there was going to be a nuclear bomb in two weeks. Do you think Congress, as you know it today, if the president went to Congress and asked for a declaration to knock out these nuke plants, and you think they could come up with a decision in two weeks? Heck, they would filibuster for three months. Congress can do nothing in six months’ time. Congress can do nothing at all half the time, except line their pockets with bribes. And what we find out lately is stock options. Did you see over the weekend that Nancy Pelosi would be the best person to ever follow her economic policies of how to invest, that her portfolio has outperformed every major portfolio that people invest in for their 401ks? Seems like everybody should follow what Nancy Pelosi’s doing because she has an inside track, because she’s making money when nobody else on Wall Street right now is making money. Wall Street is kind of in the doldrums, and yet she’s still running away with all kinds of money. Makes you wonder, doesn’t it? And we’re going to give these kind of people, Nancy Pelosi, AOC, the bartender, the ex-coffee maker.
Are we going to wait for them to play politics before we could stop somebody from building a nuclear bomb and nuking us, maybe nuking one of our bases? Is that what the American people would think that they’re going to want to vote for? The Democrats are dumb. They’re absolutely on another planet. They’re not American, I can tell you that right now.A nd that is what’s helping Donald Trump. Donald Trump is making many mistakes this term around. I have called him out on the tariffs, on overreaching into ICE. The American public really did not vote for their next-door neighbor who’s mowing lawns to be deported when we have all these criminal gangs still here. I think most people thought that the deportations were going to be criminals. How many times in the last two months with all these ICE raids have you seen an ICE raid, for example, of Iranian sleeper cell terrorists? We know that hundreds of Muslims and Iranians made it through the border under Biden, the Mexican border, that is, in the last four or five years. How come I haven’t seen one news report of Iranian dissidents or sleeper cells being investigated, found out about, and deported? You don’t hear about it. And that is because you’re going to tell me this government that knows everything you eat, they know everything you do, they can follow your cell phone, they can follow everything you do. They don’t know where these sleeper cells are.
So why aren’t they being deported? Why are our ICE agents going after these people instead of Hector mowing your lawn? It doesn’t make sense to me. It really does not make sense to me. And this is not the Trump administration that most people wanted or voted for. They want the terrorists out of this country. They want the criminals out of this country. And they want the people who hate America that’s coming over our borders illegally to leave this country. They’re not looking to deport some housemaid that’s been here for 25 years and she’s got kids born here. That’s not what the people voted for. You may be technically correct that they are lawbreakers when they come over the border illegally, but that’s not the criminals that people thought that they were going to be found out and deported. So far, what I see is some really bad gang members being deported, which is good. But for the most part, it seems like of the 3,000 plus so that’s been deported so far, the vast majority, probably 75%, never committed a crime except going over the border illegally. And if that’s what we’re going to look for, but we’re not going to look for the sleeper cells terrorists around, I think we’ve got a problem coming.
Because I think right now, Iran cannot come, in my opinion, Iran cannot come to the negotiation table. They are religious zealots and they have convinced their people who do follow them that Allah is on their side and Allah will never allow the great Satan to prevail. So if they were to say, well, we got the jeep knocked out of us, I won’t go further than that. And we’re going to go now talk to the Americans, that great Satan, and make sure they don’t bomb us again. We’re going to find a peace deal. They’re going to be overthrown instantly within a day. Their own supporters will kill them, take them out, hang them and butcher them because the radicals think Allah is on their side and they think that the great Satan America is going to lose to them. So there’s no way they’re going to come to the peace table. So if Donald Trump thinks or any American thinks that this is going to bring peace to the Middle East by this bombing, if they remain in power, they’re nuts. The only peace that can possibly happen in Iran, in my personal opinion, is that the Shah’s son, now the new Shah of Iran, who’s in exile, returns with a strong hand and opens up the society as a Western Muslim society again, like it was with his father during the 1950s, 60s and 70s, when Iran was the most pro-Western Muslim country in the entire region. They were nothing like Saudi Arabia. People went around with suits on, with Western wear.
Women wore bikinis and miniskirts and makeup and they had bars. Liquor was not outlawed like it is in Saudi Arabia. You know, in Saudi Arabia, if you’re caught with a bottle of beer, you’re going to go to jail for 10 years, even if you’re an American. No exceptions. That’s how strict they are following Sharia law. That was not Iran during the 1960s and 70s under the Shah. People do not, I don’t think, realize that. We need to have that person back in charge and if he doesn’t get back in charge, and we can’t make it happen. We can’t use our CIA to try to do regime change. We’ve tried that over and over and over again for 75 years and it hasn’t worked. But what we can do is we can give support when these people rebel against the clergy in Iran and we can give them support, something Barack Obama did not do. Well, we’re back and talking about the Iran strike over the weekend and the possible terrorism that could result because of it and I do think there could be some sleeper cell terrorists happening in America and I do think we could see some terrorism happen in the Middle East, you know, rocketing American embassies or American soldiers. American soldiers all over the world going out partying or anything like that probably is not a good idea right now because if they find a lone American out somewhere in a foreign country, that person is going to be a target for all kinds of problems. But I do think as what I know and I just want to say what I know, I do think Donald Trump did the right thing and he did it in the right way and I do think that there’s some messages being sent here to other players. You got to remember when you make an action like this, if you’re a smart president, Donald Trump was a very smart president his first time around and when it came to foreign affairs especially and I think he is a smart man and when he does listen to people who know what they’re talking about. Unfortunately, in this administration, I think he’s listened to people who do not know what they’re talking about but a smart president realizes when he makes an action against a Libya or an Iraq or an Iran, there are other players he’s trying to talk to and that is basically in this case, Russia, China, North Korea, maybe a few others including Europe into this but Russia, Putin’s already said something like he might support Iran with arms. I don’t know how he’s going to do that.
He can’t even beat Ukraine yet and if I was Donald Trump, there would be an easy answer to Putin. Putin is a thug. I’ve said this many times. I don’t want to go to war with Putin but he’s a thug. He’s like a mafia godfather. He’s not a leader of a nation. He’s a leader of an illegal mob rule in Russia and he only cares about himself and his own power and not being killed because the minute he loses power, he will be executed and killed by the next wannabe dictator. That is something that’s just going to happen. So if he starts sending missiles to, which I don’t think he can, but let’s say he starts sending armaments and missiles to Iran. If I was Donald Trump, I’d call up Vlad and say Mr. Putin or Vlad, however he wants to say it. This is what’s going to happen if you continue to send missiles into Iran to cause trouble. I will supply Ukraine with every single ballistic missile there is including nuclear warheads.
Then what are you going to do? Because you’re going to be dead and you know what? The man will stop. The same with the Chinese. The Chinese, they want Taiwan and they think they’re going to get Taiwan, but the Chinese look at things over hundreds of years, not over two year elections. So they have a lot of patience and they’re working on Taiwan in many different ways. People in America do not even know the things that China is trying to do to lure Taiwan to actually join them without a battle. And I believe the last I heard, and I have not really researched this, I’m just off the top of my head. I remember the last I heard was that about 30 to 35% of the people who live in Taiwan do want to rejoin with China and they think it would be good. China has offered Taiwan self-rule similar to Hong Kong for 400 years. I don’t know if that’s a believable thing or not, but they claim, you come back and join us for 400 years, you can run your own thing. The only thing you can’t have is your own army and you no longer can be pro-West. But other than that, you can run your own affairs for 400 years. Well, I think that’s a lie, but who am I to say? But at the same time, China is very patient.
They have a very patient attitude of many years before they get what they want. And so there is a plan in China not to invade Taiwan, but through elections, to have Taiwan vote to join them. And believe it or not, in this world of stupid people, that probably could happen because people are willing to give up their freedom for safety. And remember what Benjamin Franklin said about that. Anybody willing to give up their freedom for safety deserve neither, nor they will get neither if they do so. But the same thing, by the way, with South Korea. There are many, many South Koreans who have no problem joining with the North. Now, you think Taiwan joining with China is stupid. Well, at least China is a modern country and people live pretty good. I mean, we don’t hear this in this country, but people live pretty good. The average Chinese has $57,000 saved in the bank. The average American doesn’t.
The average Chinese has a car now, and they have a good income. They make two-thirds of what the American workers make. They have free health care. They have free medicine. They have free a lot of stuff. They live pretty good. That’s not North Korea. North Korea, they’re living in the Stone Ages. Satellites go over the world, and whenever you see a big dark place in Asia, that’s North Korea because there’s no lights on. There’s no electricity at night. They shut down their power plants at night. So the idea that some South Koreans think it would be a good idea to join the North, I mean, it shows you how dumb people can be. And that is why I say this again and again, and I get some hate mail when I say this. The world is not necessarily America. When our forefathers made us a democratic republic, and we are a republic and not a democracy, we’re a democratic republic and a constitutional one at that, they knew that a democratic republic form of government could only work with people who were, A, Christian, B, moral, and C, people with a great education.
That is what they really had in mind. It’s hard for us to believe this today, but the average colonial American in 1776 had much more knowledge of reading, writing, arithmetic, and the Bible and many other things than the average American today who is voting. People in colonial America in the early first 75 years of America were very well-informed about politics. They were really well-informed about world affairs. Americans weren’t a bunch of country bumpkins like many times movies and TV shows portray. They were quite well-educated. You know, that one-room schoolhouse, as funny as it may seem when you watch on A Little House on the Prairie, well, they were able to educate some of the top brains that America has ever known. And our modern school system, spending $10,000 a kid, hasn’t been able to match it in any way. So we shouldn’t knock the educational system of colonial America or early America when there was a one-room schoolhouse where actual education was going on and not indoctrination of global warming or anti-Christian messages and pro-anti-American messages going on in our schools today.
But going back to the Middle East thing, I gave you what I think about it. I’ll finish up about the Bible in a minute, what God has to say about it. But going back, I think Donald Trump did the right deal. We will know for sure in the next two to three weeks, in my opinion, how close they were. I do believe there will be some brief skirmishes coming. I don’t believe Iran is going to go easy, but I think there is a possibility, and it’s probably more than a slight possibility, that the people of Iran are going to stand up against this dictatorial clergy regime and overthrow it. And I think there may be the Shah of Iran happening again, and it would be good for Middle East peace for a while. The first article I ever wrote for The Plain Truth, when we first started up in December of 2008, it was on my anniversary, I believe, and it was why the Middle East will always be in your future. Everybody who tells you that they’re going to bring peace to the Middle East, I don’t care if it’s Donald Trump or if it’s Jimmy Carter or if it’s Ronald Reagan, who never thought that, or if it’s Barack Obama. You’re not going to get peace in the Middle East, and you know why I know that? I’m not some clairvoyant. I’m not some prophet of God. All I do is read the Bible, read prophecies that have not yet been fulfilled, that’s easy to see has not been fulfilled, and believe what I read. If you believe in the Bible and you believe in God’s Word, then you know without any qualms what’s going to happen in the Middle East, and it’s always going to be in turmoil. The Middle East, Jerusalem, is going to be a burdensome stone to the whole world. That’s what the Bible says. There’s always going to be conflict around Jerusalem. It’s God’s city, the devil knows it, and the devil wants to see that city destroyed, and he wants to see God’s people destroyed. Who are God’s people? Well, there are two distinct nations that broke away from the former nation of Israel. If you go back to the Bible, after Joshua led the people across the Jordan River, there was 12 tribes, really they became 13 when Joseph’s tribe became two, but that was the nation of Israel.
But after King David came his son Solomon, who taxed the people and was kind of living a luxurious life, and when his son took over, the people came and said, be nice to us, your father was a little too harsh, lower our taxes, make life a little less burdensome, and he refused. He listened to his younger aides, and he got tougher on the people than even his father, and the 10 northern tribes comprising of Joseph, the two from Joseph, Ephraim, and Manasseh, and everyone but Judah, and a few like the Levites, and a little bit of the tribe of Benjamin, was all that was left with the religious Israel. They remained in Jerusalem, but their nation became called Judah. You can go to your own Bible, and you can see that the Jewish people never had the title Israel, only wherever Joseph was had that title. And that’s why you go to your Bible, if there’s maps, you’ll see the northern kingdom called Israel, and the southern kingdom called Judah, where the Jews lived was Judah, and where the Ephraimites and the Josephites, you could say, lived was called Israel. They were taken into captivity, those 10 nations were taken into captivity, and moved on up through Europe, through the Caucasus Mountains, where we get the name Caucasian, and they would be by the Germanic people, who are the ancient Assyrians, and they became the peoples of Denmark, Scandinavia, Ireland, Scotland, England, France, the Netherlands, and the United States of America, Canada, Australia.
These are the Lost Ten Tribes. So we know for a fact that in the end times, there is trouble for these Lost Ten Tribes, and they’re going to go back into captivity, because they refused to follow their God. And we also know that the Jewish nation of Judah, which came out of the dust after World War II, and it really should be called Judah, we know from the Bible that they too are going to be attacked by Muslim nations around them. It looks, it appears to me, that the King of the North, which is a dictator who emerges out of Europe, and it’s going to be a revised Holy Roman Europe, with the Catholic Church at its head, and a despot, a Hitler type, is the Antichrist, who’s reigning as the King of the North. He will go and protect the Jews in Jerusalem, in Israel, from the King of the South. The King of the South will be this United Islamic Nation, the USA, like the United States of Islamic Nations, and it’s going to go from the Atlantic top of North Africa, all the way across the Mediterranean top, all the way through the Middle East, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, all of that is going to be one nation, under one despot, the King of the South, and those two battle back and forth. There’s a whole history in America, I’m sorry, in the world, when those two battle. The Crusades, we all went to school, and we learned about the Crusades, and King Richard III, and all of this, the Children’s Crusades, and the Knights Templar, and all of this stuff. Well, the Crusades was just a continuation, from the Bible, of the wars between Europe and the Muslims.
And it really wasn’t Muslims at the time before, in the Bible, it was just the King of the North, and the King of the South, and the South became the people that are Muslims today. And so, the Crusades were the wars still prophesied in the Bible that would occur, and they’re coming back. And it looks like the King of the North is going to give protection to the Jewish people in Israel for a while, before he moves his headquarters to Jerusalem and declares himself God, which the Bible says is going to happen. And the Jews, if there’s a good point of this, most of the Jews in the area are going to consider him their Messiah. As Jesus said, someone else will come in his own name, and he you will believe. And that is the foreshadow of an Antichrist coming, and probably the King of the North from Europe, coming to Jerusalem, setting himself up in the newly rebuilt temple. We know there’s going to be a temple, and he’s going to declare himself God and Savior, and many people in the world are going to believe him, and they’re going to say, who can make war with the beast? Now, I know today we got a lot of people thinking this is Donald Trump fulfilling this, but Donald Trump is no Antichrist, and he’s not going to be, even if he wants to be, because he’s not in the right location. It’s going to come out of the Holy Roman Empire, it says so in the Bible, we already know the four kingdoms that would be on the face of this earth, and the fourth kingdom was Rome, and then revised Rome some seven times, and we’re getting ready for the last hurrah of the Roman Empire under an Antichrist beast, and that will last a short three and a half years, and then, bing, it’s all, he’s gone. Christ returns, saves us from ourselves, and the millennium begins. Now, I’m not saying that’s happening in your lifetime or mine. I’m not one of these holy rollers out there who keep trying to make money by saying, you’ve got to send me money, because if you don’t, this is going to happen. You’re going to be left behind, and I’m not going to be able to get my message out.
Well, if God wants my message to get out, he’s going to make it get out, and he’s going to provide me the money to do so, and not from you. He’s going to provide the money from my own business that pays for everything now. You never hear me ask for money. You never hear me sell anything other than the Bible on Amazon. I’d give it away, but it costs me, I only make $2 or $3 on a sale of each Bible on Amazon. Amazon is printing it, self-publishing it, so they’re making all the money, so I can’t afford to give away, you know, $225, I believe my cost would be for all five volumes. But other than that, you don’t ever see me asking for money. I’m never going to ask for money. The day I can no longer afford to do this broadcast, that’s telling me God doesn’t want me to do it anymore, because if God wants me to do it, he’ll provide the money. I don’t need to go beg for money. Like when you hear evangelists out there begging for money, and if they don’t have a tithe from you by tomorrow, they’re going to be off the air, and it’s your fault that the people in Zambebi don’t hear the message of Christ, and they’re eternally doomed, their soul is doomed to hell forever. These kind of nonsense things that people hear from these evangelists, it’s all crap. It’s all baloney. It’s all man-made charlatanism to make money. These people are not believers. They’re not believers at all. They believe in the Almighty Book, and that’s the truth.

The great Iran bombing, we’ll see what happens in the next two to three weeks. I’m probably not going to talk much about it unless some big thing breaks, but maybe on the Friday wrap-ups. We’ll get back to our normal programming tomorrow, but I think we should understand, give the president to do here, give him some trust, even though I have some problems with him lately. I do believe he did what he had to do. We will find out if they were lying real quick.
