Hello, it’s Bob Barney and it’s Friday and you know what that means…it is Friday wrap-up time.

This is when we go over the big stories of the week…this is a Plain Truth Today Dot-com broadcast brought to you by The Plain Truth.com.

Before we get going on the stories of the week, I want to I want to talk to the new people that are coming on board listening.  Our numbers have really shot up and I’m pretty happy about that however, I have to be honest…the numbers have shot up because I recently did a Google ad and so some people are finding us because of Google.

We try to cover all of the news here on The Plain Truth Today Broadcast as we do on our main page, The Plain Truth dot com. This is where you will see the print version of everything we do and of course we have a Message Board you can visit and participate in. Anyone can share stories or comment as well.  There is even a comment section below all of the stories here in the broadcast.

I do want to welcome new people aboard!

 I do think if you give us a shot and you listen to this program and our programs in general, you’re going to hear a unique perspective from me that you are not going to hear elsewhere. I think you will find that my perspective is that of the Bible and about what God is doing. You will see that this is not a holy roller show at all. Well, more specifically put, you’re not going to be ever asked for money.

You’re never going to be asked to join anything 

You’re never going to get an email from us or a follow-up even if you subscribe to get a notification of published content linked to our shows. In fact, what you’re going to hear is what God has said about the news.

Did you know that we are found in the Bible? Did you know that you can find out about what’s going to happen to England, as well?  They’re found in the Bible…Germany is found in the Bible just with a different name, but they are really there and are very important by the way. The Holy Roman Empire also is found in the Bible…so is China and Russia. Israel is of course but should really be called the state of Judah and we will get more into that.

If you go and you Listen to other shows that we have done you will find some really fascinating facts that you’ve never been told. More specifically about who the identity of Israel really is according to the Word of God.

God is the best newscaster you will ever listen to!

At The Plain Truth, you are also going to learn all about Jesus Christ…about when Jesus Christ came to this earth 2,000 years ago as a man and that Jesus Christ who walked this earth some 2,000 years ago is in fact the God who made Adam and Eve! He is also the God who talked to Moses. This is the very figure who was Abraham’s best friend…and the God that is the I am or the Yahweh or the Lord God in the King James Version of the Bible. The Lord God Almighty is none other than Jesus Christ who wrote the Ten Commandments with his own finger! These are the things that you will discover as you move around The Plain Truth…and after I show you proof of what I am saying, you are going to ask yourself, “hey! Why didn’t I ever hear this before?”. Well, thankfully you can hear about all of that here at The Plain Truth.

By the way, God’s new year starts on March 20th. It does not start on January 1st, which is a totally Roman pagan holiday that actually makes no sense to start a new year on. Think about it like this: at the coldest time of the year when everything’s dead outside…does it make sense that that is the start of the new year? Also, it is kind of stupid to start a day at midnight and many of the Seventh-day Christians and Jewish people do follow a day that begins at 6 o’clock at night. The truth is and logic even suggests that the day begins in the morning.

There are all kinds of facts you can learn if you listen to these shows.

 8:01 We post about the new months, and we just had a new month start three days ago. It is the 11th month of the year according to and in God’s calendar. These are the facts that you’re going to learn if you listen to The Plain Truth Today broadcasts and if you visit The Plain Truth dot com each day. We also have our Your Health Today section which focuses on what God says we need to do in order to be healthy and thrive. We share about what He has to say about your diet for example, and more of course, and often get into the science of it all. Did you know that you can prove much of what the Bible says with science?

We have the Message Board which I mentioned today which happens to be the most popular part of The Plain Truth website. It is where more people visit than anywhere else on the site so we invite you to check it out and join in and share as much as you feel comfortable sharing!

 So here is the Friday’s wrap-up: I think we have to start with two of the major stories that really were overshadowed in the news and this actually happened towards the end of the week.

The first one I want to get into is of course this peace accord between Israel and Hamas and the releasing of maybe up to a hundred citizen prisoners of war…seven of which are supposedly Americans. It’s good news for those being released however it is actually bad news for people who have not yet been captured. Why? Because this just kind of helps the terrorists grab more people min the future. This encourages them to trade each hostage they have for 30 terrorists that are being held in captivity in prison.  So 30 for one is not what I call a fair deal however this agreement will be releasing hostages that have been tortured for approximately 457 days. Joe Biden could do nothing about it apparently and nothing was done about it until Donald Trump was elected president and that’s the plain truth.

 11:39 The other story we’re going to wrap up a little bit today is about these Senate hearings for the nominations of the Trump administration. Specifically for Secretary of State Secretary of Defense.  All of these positions…all of these people are being brought before the self-righteous Democrat senators as well as Republicans and are being grilled about being true patriotic Americans! Most of the Democrats in The Senate just simply are not true patriotic Americans themselves, anymore. They are so anti-American…so anti-America…and so world order-ish that they’re sickening to listen to. Especially when you have a bunch of drunks and rapist adulterers doing the interrogating of people like Pete Hegseth who is going for the Defense Department. If you listen to this show, you know I don’t believe that he is qualified but he’s a lot more qualified than Lloyd Austin who’s sitting there right now. Austin could have caused World War III when he had gone into the hospital for prostate surgery and didn’t even bother telling the president of the United States where he was. I have to admit he might have thought the president of the United States might not even remember who he was. Russia knew he was in the hospital! China knew he was in the hospital! Frankly, the rest of the world through their intelligence sources knew he was in the hospital…but not the United States government…and not the American people. They did not know this man was in the hospital with cancer and if that man can be secretary defense, then I’m going to go along with Pete Hegseth. Hegseth…a true veteran and hero of three wars with many medals. Once again, I don’t believe he has the experience to run the Pentagon but I guess he can learn on the job as every Democrat seems to try to do. They try, yet they never learn on the job though.

But look at this mayor in Los Angeles who was in Africa while her city was (and still is) burning down. If people don’t have a problem with that…gheesh… I don’t know.

The one real bright spot in the Senate hearings other than Senator Mullins taking to task these Democrats who were dragging Pete Hegseth over the coals about his adulterous affairs. He shouted to them and said, tell me how many senators come here drunk, and you all know it’s true and you all know who’s doing it. How many senators are divorced because they committed adultery…? You know who they are, and you know all about it. Did you ask them to resign? Did you did you censor them? Did you tell them they have to go? No, you’re a bunch of hypocrites! And that’s what they are…a bunch of hypocrites who are trying to interrogate American patriots. If I were Pete, I would have said this…I was a veteran and you’re treating me like dirt…and you have no right to treat a veteran like that who went to war and who fought for this country…someone who won awards for merit and valor fighting for this country…you have no right to judge me because unless you have gone to war and unless you have lived a perfect life, which we all know you haven’t then you need to shut up! I wish he said all of that.

Now, Pam Bondi did do that by the way! 

14:09 Senator Schiff …now this guy when he was a House member, he was a total liar total hypocrite and a total crook by the way…and someone who packs on the lies upon the lies. Now a Senator from California who is getting what they deserve in my opinion…I hate to say that for you Californians if you’re listening to me, but you know you get what you vote for and you’d better do something to help your beautiful state. California used to be a phenomenal place to live as it used to be a beautiful state and it used to be well-run when you had governors like Ronald Reagan for example. A governor who brought sense and sensibility to California and to the California people. This was a time when they used to manage their grasslands that are now always on fire. Plus, the fact that I believe all of them have been caused by arsonist and I do not believe they’re random arsonist by the way. I believe because of our open border situation; they are occurring as we are targeted. We have allowed thousands of terrorists and many of them are Muslim Islamic terrorists that have been let into this country. If you live in a city with more than 50,000 people. you probably have a sleeper cell of Muslim terrorists in your city, just waiting for orders from Iran to attack your city.

 That’s how safe you are under the Biden Democratic Administration…an administration who has let all of these people come over the border in the tens of thousands. We don’t even know how many terrorists are living in America today, but I tell you right now I think a lot of them are starting fires out in California. This is a fact that the news does not want to touch.

I was listening to Maria Bartiromo on Fox Business News the other day and she asked four or five senators and congressmen Republicans and Democrats on live if they think this could be terrorism? Nobody wanted to touch it. Nobody wanted to say yeah, because no one in the government wants the people to be terrorized by their actions or inactions and that’s what it is.  

16:21 By the way, did you know that there is a place in the Bible in Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28 that mirrors what is happening to this country today? This is actually prophecy by the Lord God Jesus Christ who said what would happen to this country if we go away from God’s laws.  Even Christian religions think the law of God has been done away with! Yet, we have this Bible where 3-quarters of your Bible happens to be the Old Testament and yet most Christians have never read the Old Testament. It is because we think, or we’ve been told by preachers that the Old Testament law has been done away with…that Mosaic laws are gone, and Jesus Christ came to do away with the law…that He was a lawless guy! As if he was like a Democrat! Jesus Christ was no Democrat!

Jesus Christ was the author of the law, you know, as He wrote the Ten Commandments with His own finger.

You can find that in the Bible.

 These fires in California I do believe are terrorist related…some of them are and probably due to indigents coming over the border. One they caught looks like he was an illegal Mexican…they caught him starting a fire. I think you are going to find there is a terrorist plan behind a lot of these fires…The Plain Truth dot com had stories going back to 2012 saying that many of the forest fires out west in Colorado, Wyoming, California, Oregon, and Washington State were caused by Islamic terrorists. Even back then when it was being reported, no one wanted to touch those stories even though there was evidence to prove the claims.

17:32 If you look back in the old archives of The Plain Truth you can find those stories even to this day and you may be shocked to find stories that actually confirm what you know now.

Getting back to these Senate trials. They are really trials with the intent to butcher these people who are trying to serve this country I am quite happy that Pam Bondi did not put up with the BS from. She let the Senators have it. Like Schiff…he tried to tell her what she couldn’t do and what she had to do. She became the Justice Department Attorney General, and she just put him to bed and schooled him and shut him up. I hope more and more people fight back…this is a blatant display of the atrocities that the Democrats and the Democratic Party have brought to Americans over those last four year. Well, quite frankly…it has been over the last 25 years.

I have to note that Marco Rubio gave one of the greatest history lessons of the last 70 years of the United States and world affairs. There was no better schooling that anyone has done and I agree with him 100%!

I want to play this…it’s about 10 minutes long and I think while you listen to what he has to say…if this does not make you proud to be an American…and if this doesn’t help you understand where we have been and where we have come from in the last 25 to 35 years…I don’t know what will. He shares about NAFTA and many other things that have destroyed the middle class and this country in general.  He nails it and he nails how this all has come to be and what needs to be done moving forward. You cool Yeah, as you know, that’s a first year for us at least in recent times. All right Back to order. All right So while America too often Prioritize the global order above our core national interest other nations continued to act the way nations have always acted and always will and what they perceive to be their best interest and Instead of folding into the post-cold war global order. They have manipulated it to serve their interests at the expense of ours We welcome the Chinese Communist Party into the global order and they took advantage of all of its benefits And they ignored all of its obligations and responsibilities instead They have repressed and lied and cheated and hacked and stolen their way into global superpower status And they have done so at our expense and at the expense of the people of their own country in our very own hemisphere Narco-terrorists and dictators and despots take advantage of open borders to drive mass migration to traffic and women and children and to flood our communities with deadly fentanyl and violent criminals in Moscow and Tehran and Pyongyang Dictators rogue states now so chaos and instability and aligned with and they fund radical terror groups Then they hide behind their veto power at the United Nations Security Council or the threats of nuclear war the post-war global order Is not just obsolete It is now a weapon being used against us and all this has led to a moment in which we must now confront the single greatest risk of geopolitical instability and of generational global crisis in the lifetime of Anyone alive and in this room today? Eight decades later we are once again called to create a free world out of the chaos and this will not be easy and It will be impossible without a strong and a confident America that engages in the world Putting our core national interests once again above all else Just four years ago. I believe we began to see the outlines in the beginnings of what that would look like during President Trump’s first term American strength was a deterrent to our adversaries and it gave us leverage in diplomacy There were no new wars Isis was eviscerated Soleimani was dead. The historic Abraham Accords were born and Americans were safer as a result now President Trump returns to office with an unmistakable mandate from the voters They want a strong America a strong America engaged in the world but guided by a clear objective to promote peace abroad and security and prosperity here at home That is the promise that President Trump was elected to keep and if I am confirmed Keeping that promise will be the core mission of the United States Department of State now tragically horrifying atrocities and Unimaginable human suffering can be found on virtually every continent and I am certain that today I will be asked about the array of programs and the activities the Department of State carries out to address them We are a nation was founded on the revolutionary truth that all men are created equal And that our rights come not from man or from government but from God and so we will never Be indifferent to the suffering of our fellow man But ultimately under President Trump the top priority of the United States Department of State Will be the United States The direction he has given for the conduct of our foreign policy is clear Every dollar we spend every program we fund every policy we pursue Must be justified by the answer to one of three questions Does it make America safer? Does it make America stronger? Or does it make America more prosperous? under President Trump the dollars of hard-working American taxpayers will always be spent wisely and our power will always be yielded prudently and Towards what is best for America and Americans before anything and everything else Prudence in the conduct of foreign policy is not an abandonment of our values It is the common-sense understanding that while we remain the wealthiest and the most powerful nation on the earth our wealth has never been unlimited and our power has never been infinite and Placing our core national interest above all else is not isolationism. It is the common-sense realization That our foreign part that a foreign policy centered and our national interest is not some outdated relic Since the emergence of the modern nation-state over two centuries ago Countries acting based on what they perceive to be their core national interest that has been the norm not the exception and for our country Placing the interest of America and Americans above all else has never been more relevant or more necessary Than it is right now for in the end How America how can America promote the cause of peace on earth if it is not first safe at home? What good is America to our allies if it is not strong and how can America help end the suffering of God’s children across the world? If it is not first prosperous here at home, I Thank you, and I hope I can earn your support whether it’s because you believe I would do a good job Or because you want to get rid of me Either way the results the same.

(Bob) When I heard that driving to work the other morning this was in my opinion probably one of the best brief synopsis’ of the last 80 years of foreign policy…of the United States…and the world…how it started off on good ground…on pure good ground…yet it ended up tragically being merged into a new world order by the original George Bush. We became more worried about what was happening overseas than about what was happening to the American public. The American public, whom the politicians are sworn to protect and to uphold the peoples rights…something that has been sorely abused.

I just cannot say how great of a speech that was, and I hope everybody took the time to listen to it.

Well, this is the final part of the wrap-up. Tomorrow is the Sabbath day. We do believe in the Sabbath day, and we’ll have our Sabbath day morning show. We also will have something special for the Sabbath eve 7:11 pm broadcast. We always do a short story or a movie or something that people can either watch or listen to.

One of the things I do want to end with is by saying that we do plan on doing broadcasts on video as well. I am thinking these videos will be called, God’s New Year, which is in March… I want to reemphasize that eventually I do want to start doing videos. We’re looking at different programs.  I have a beautiful oval office with a White House desk believe it or not to do the show from and I think with some of the right editing features I think a lot of people will really enjoy it more than just listening to me. I know now it is like a radio show and even though I’ have always been partial to such a thing because of my age, I think it might be a special thing for our listeners.

27:21 A lot of the Saturday night short stories that we do are our old radio shows and they’re phenomenal to listen to, I just think some sometimes radio gives you a better perspective of what’s going. I think so because it allows your mind to really think and absorb what you are hearing, versus having the visual to make your brain go to where the producer wants you to go. When you hear words alone, your mind envisions those words and that’s a very important concept to envision what you’re hearing in your own mind and radio does that.   Watching a video doesn’t always do that. So, probably we will always merge in some audios, but I do plan on doing many more videos in the coming months. Starting around March or April of this year.

I do appreciate everyone who is listening. Since we have a big surge because as I have shared, we’re doing a Google ad so a lot of people have come on board and I would like to repeat/republish some older programs. I’m very grateful for you as a new listener!
