Hi, Bob Barney with a 7-Eleven short show on what’s next after Venezuela. And again, (0:08) as the Venezuelan show I did this week, we’ll probably replay this as the best of Bob to see (0:14) where we were at. But there’s dominoes to fall.

What will they be? And hopefully we will see some (0:22) light at the end of the tunnel. As I had mentioned, maybe we’re going to see a toppling of the Iran (0:27) dictators, the Ayatollahs, because there’s an uprising going on in Iran right now. But also, (0:34) we should notice that Cuba depended on the oil from Venezuela, not just China or Russia or Iran, (0:42) but Cuba has been left alive by Venezuela because Cuba was abandoned when the Soviet Union fell (0:48) apart and became the Russia Republic and then now the despotic Putin-led regime in Russia, (0:56) but still does very little for Cuba.

Cuba has been kept alive by Venezuela and Chavez and Maduro. (1:06) And so a question was brought up to Senator Rick Scott on Fox News. Yeah, I play Fox News, (1:13) but about what does this mean for Cuba? And this is what the conversation said.(1:20) President Trump and Secretary Rubio talked about the possibilities for Cuba. (1:25) Let’s play this clip real quick. (1:28) Cuba is going to be something we’ll end up talking about because Cuba is a failing (1:33) nation right now, very badly failing nation.

And we want to help the people. It’s very similar in (1:38) the sense that we want to help the people in Cuba. When the president speaks, you should take (1:41) him seriously.

Suffice it to say, you know, Cuba is a disaster. It’s run by incompetent, (1:47) senile men. If I lived in Havana and I was in the government, I’d be concerned.(1:51) What is Cuba thinking right now? (1:54) We’re going to see freedom and liberty in Cuba. I mean, Cuba is a failed state. (2:00) The people of Cuba do not like Diaz-Canel.

They don’t like their government. (2:05) It was all propped up with the oil from Venezuela. So Cuba has been the root of evil.So if you look (2:11) at this, this is an unbelievable opportunity. When Trump finishes this term, I think all (2:17) across Latin America, we’re going to see freedom and liberty. We’re going to have a new president (2:21) in Colombia next year. And I think the right thing will happen there. I think Diaz-Canel will be (2:29) gone. So look, I’m excited for all my friends that have fought all these years for freedom (2:36) and liberty. And they have not been able to get a president that would show up and do the job (2:40) that needed to be done. And this president has been willing to do it. So hats off to Donald Trump.(2:45) Senator, before you go- (2:46) And by the way, Elon Musk is giving free internet now in Venezuela. That’s going to help people be (2:51) able to talk to each other. That’s a big deal.So I want to thank Elon Musk for doing that, too. (2:56) Perhaps that’s part of my question as well, looking at oil at the center of all of this and (3:00) the added internet situation for the people of that country as a result. What do you believe (3:05) will be the overall economic impact of this action on the part of the administration? (3:09) Well, I think what’s going to happen is you’re going to see oil prices come down.(3:15) They’ve got all the unbelievable reserves in Venezuela.

The oil companies are going to come(3:19) back. They’re going to rebuild this country. It’s going to be great opportunities for Venezuelans. (3:23) Venezuelans should be the richest country in South America. Absolutely, no question.The (3:28) richest country in South America is going to create a lot of opportunity for Venezuelans. (3:31) It’s going to be exciting. I think there’s so many- my friends in Venezuela are going to want (3:38) to go home and rebuild this country. It’s going to be- it’s an exciting day. (3:42) Well, I hope it is, and I do believe one thing, what they’re talking about with Cuba. (3:47) I have had a lot of dealings with Cuban Americans and Cuban people. When I lived in Florida, (3:52) you know, as I always say, I’m in the paint business. When I was a paint rep for a company (3:58) I worked for back in the 90s, I had a lot of dealings with the Cubans that came over in the (4:04) 1960s. Not the second Muriel boatlift Cubans, but the Cubans who actually chased their (4:10) ancestry back all the way to Spain. They considered themselves Spaniards, and they’re very, (4:15) very honest people who keep their word, and they’re very capitalistic people. (4:22) Many times the nickname for the Jews- I’m sorry, for the Cubans in Miami is they’re the (4:28) Latin Jews of Miami, because they can turn a dime into a dollar overnight. They’re very, (4:35) very good business people. They’ve wanted to get rid of communism in Cuba now going on 60 years, (4:40) and it’s not happened to any other president. So if the result of this Maduro capture can get (4:49) Cuba free and open back up, it will be the dominant economy in all of Latin America, (4:57) will be Cuba. Cuba will surpass, even without the resources of oil, it will surpass even what (5:03) Venezuela will be, because the people of Cuba know how to work, they know how to make money, (5:08) and they know how to be capitalist, and they can be very good friends of America.Remember, (5:13) it has been always the Cuban Americans that have voted Republican from day one. They are not (5:18) Democratic voters. They are Republican voters because they believe in the American dream (5:24) of prosperity through hard work and capitalism, and they want to bring that back to Cuba, (5:30) and it would be good for both nations. The exports to Cuba and just the business relationships with (5:37) Cuba could be great. The people that I said I dealt with are very reputable people to deal with. (5:44) They are very good people, and I hope that one of the things that could happen (5:49) is Cuba gets freed from the oppression.

Socialism does not work. San Francisco, (5:55) we ran a story about how San Francisco is moving away from socialism, believe it or not, (6:00) as New York delves into socialism with this Mamdani guy, and New York City and New York (6:06) City citizens are going to find out what’s happened in Venezuela and Cuba can happen (6:10) in New York City really quick, because a disaster is coming to New York City. (6:15) What’s the first thing this Muslim mayor did? He basically took the target off the wall and put it (6:24) back on every Jew that lives in New York so they can be killed by violence from the Antifa movement.(6:31) That’s what he did. You can say he didn’t, but that’s what he did when he reversed the veto from (6:36) the last mayor against anti-Semitism laws in New York City, making Jews again a target of hate (6:44) in that city. New York City is going to find itself worse off than Cuba real soon.(6:49) Well, anyway, that’s the show, the 7-Eleven short show for today. This is Bob Barney (6:54) for The Plain Truth Today. Welcome to everybody who’s listening to this show, and (6:58) remember to come back here every day, three times during the week, twice on Saturday and(7:03) once on Sunday for The Plain Truth Today broadcast, some by me, some by others.(7:08) Until tomorrow, Bob Barney, goodbye.
