Hello, it’s Bob Barney and it’s time for another Friday Wrap-Up. We seem to, at least in my life, it seems like there are a lot of Friday Wrap-Ups going by pretty quickly. This is The Plain Truth Today brought to you by theplaintruth.com.

I guess the big news of the week right has been the nomination of and the withdrawal of Matt Gaetz as Attorney General. This is something I am very happy about. Why? Because I think he would have made a terrible Attorney General.

I think he made a terrible Congressman as well, although I think you’ll find him back in Congress because he was legitimately elected. Even though he resigned from this Congress, he was legitimately elected for the next Congress that meets in January. I think you’ll see him back there and this special election will be called off, and that’s my opinion.

I have used Matt Gaetz as an example before as he was the person that I had in mind when I did the show on the Republican Diet, called, The Republican Diet – Eating Each Other – The Plain Truth. This fight they had last year in Congress in the House of Representatives where they were fighting over the speakership with McCarthy is what I am referring to. Finally, we had Mike Johnson make it in and then Gaetz started talking about how he was going to go against him as well in 2025. This dissension in the House last January and again last March or April I believe, is the reason why in this election there were no coattails in the House at all. In fact, the House did not gain any new seats in numbers more than they had going into this election and yet Trump won by a large majority. That should tell somebody something about the people who voted for Donald Trump…they did not vote for anybody in this current House…in the battleground states. It just reveals a lot about how just turned off the American public is. The public Republicans were turned off with the House of Representatives under Republican control. I was afraid, I’m still somewhat afraid, that the Republicans will continue to be eating their own next January/February going into the next Congress. I am concerned that it is going to again backfire on the Trump agenda and you know there is going to be another House seat election in 2026.

(3:18) Remember the House, the entire House, unlike the Senate where only a third are elected every two years, the entire House will go up for election again in 2026. If the Republicans sit there and continue the fight like they’ve been doing, then I’m afraid you’re going to see the Republicans lose big time during the 2026 election. Most likely if they lose big time, that means they’re going to lose control of the House, and guess what happens if the Republicans lose control of the House back to the Democrats? Can you guess? It means impeachment city again all over for Donald Trump and the end of the Trump agenda.

The Trump agenda will have two years to do something significant and if the House does not get on board and stop fighting amongst themselves, then the Trump agenda comes to an end.

This is one of the reasons why I was actually against Donald Trump pulling out House members for his cabinet. I think it was a very poor decision to do, even in what they consider safe areas, safe states.

(5:02) When you have a person that you know how they’re going to vote, you know where they stand on everything and just because another Republican takes their seat when you grab them for a cabinet position doesn’t mean the Republican that takes their seat is going to be the same person or believe in the same things; that could spell disaster for the Trump agenda. The picking of Matt Gaetz for attorney general was probably one of the single worst decisions that Donald Trump’s has ever made in his life. It might even be as bad as when he picked Jeff Sessions, for pity’s sakes, in 2017.

I used to rail against some of Trump’s picks back then because it just seemed like the man who was very successful in business simply could not pick people around him that agreed with him or tried to push his agenda. It’s fine having different points of view in your cabinet, but you eventually have to pick people who are going to do what you want to do and what the American people voted for you to do.

Another thing that I think should be a warning to anybody who is a real patriot American who’s very happy with this election, and I am one of those who is very happy that Donald Trump won over this nothing Kamala Harris.

(6:33) The thing that you have to think about above all things with this election is that we need to change the direction of this country, which Donald Trump wants to do. I think he’s got some good people coming in, especially with Elon Musk and getting rid of government waste. We all know there’s at least a trillion. They’re talking two trillion. It’s probably true. But if they can take a trillion off the table, off the debt, what that would do for the United States economy, for the value of the dollar, for the value of people’s 401ks, the value for everything would just be astronomically great for this country. However, if Matt Gaetz, being selected for attorney general had even made it, that would have been a disaster for the Republican Party. He is a divider. He is not a uniter. He is for himself. He is really not for the Trump agenda like many of the supporters of Donald Trump believe he is. He’s just a loose cannon, and it would not have been good for the Republican Party to have that. You need an attorney general who is not only going to be loyal to the administration and loyal to their goals of less government and an honest government and ban lawfare, for example but you need somebody that knows what they’re doing.

Did you know that Matt Gaetz never was involved in any trial in his entire career as a lawyer? He never tried a case. Neither did Kamala Harris, by the way, but we already knew she wasn’t qualified, and neither was he. He had no experience to run this Justice Department. He probably would have messed up so bad and fallen into so many traps, he might have even found himself indicted by his own Justice Department. I really mean that. I’m so happy that he’s gone.

(7:03) Last night, they did announce Pam Bondi as the next selection from Trump for AG. I think she will breeze through. I am not a total Bondi fan though. There are some things I remember in her past as attorney general of Florida that I was not happy about; things that she did. She tries to make a name for herself, but all politicians do this because they’re professional politicians. When she went after what she called price gouging when the four hurricanes hit Florida…it didn’t really affect the Home Depots and the Lowes or the suppliers who really were price gouging. It affected the little independent businessmen who were passing off these price gouging because that’s how they had to buy it. She had this hotline, it reminds you of Walz in Minnesota with the COVID hotline to report people who were overcharging for gas, overcharging for water, things like that. A lot of the people that they went after, it was just good TV, it was great to be on Fox News saying how great you are protecting the Florida citizens from price gouging, or as Kamala Harris would call it, price gauging.

It’s the same thing as Kamala Harris, though. It’s the idea you don’t believe in free enterprise. Now, I agree if you can find the suppliers or the big box stores that are doing it as a policy because they control what they pay for things, for the most part, then maybe you could have some legal action. But again, it was just trying to look great for the cameras. It sounds good to the people who are hurting and overpaying for water, gas, or what not after the hurricane struck, but that’s very minor. I think she’ll do a good job even still. I think she will pass through the Senate hearings without a problem. I really do. I’d be surprised if she has any hiccups at all, but I think she’ll make it and I think she will be a decent attorney general. I know one thing; she’s going to be a lot better than Jeff Sessions ever was for Donald Trump and I do think she will root out a lot of bad people.

(9:02) The FBI director and all of these other nominations are very important. The FBI needs to be completely rebuilt from the ground on up because it is filled with anti-American people who are bureaucrats and are really the enemies of the average Joe like you and me out there. They are doing a lot more against your freedom than you even expect they’re doing, or you can even guess they’re doing. So that is a good move that’s going to happen, and it may help save the Trump presidency all the way around.

The other pick that’s going to probably have a little bit of a fight, but I think he might have a little better job now that the main guy Gaetz is gone, is Pete Hegseth of Fox News. He will be the defense secretary if the Senate approves him. I do believe he will get all but three, two or three Republican votes, and I think he might get a couple of Democrat votes to put him way over the top.

I think, for example, Fetterman from Pennsylvania probably will vote for him. I think that a few others as well that are more moderate Democrats will vote for him. These are the democrats who also will be fighting for their seats in the MAGA-type states that Donald Trump had taken as they are going to be up for election in 26. I think some of those will find that they better vote for him as well. I think some of the other people that were nominated are going to go through pretty easily.

I think Trump could have a great cabinet. With Gaetz aside, I think Trump will have a pretty good cabinet, and I certainly hope so. This country needs a new IRS. It needs a new EPA.

(10:49)  As a paint manufacturer, I can tell you all about the EPA and the corruption of the EPA and OSHA and, like I said, the IRS and all these other government agencies that make up laws and rules as they go along. Now, that Chevron verdict of the Supreme Court really put an angst against the EPA, the IRS, OSHA, all of these agencies that made the rules up as they went, and the Supreme Court said, you no longer can do that. You can only enforce the rules that Congress passes. You can’t interpret rules or make up new rules, and that’s going to be good, and I think it’s going to be good for small business, especially, who cannot afford to fight the EPA, the OSHAs, the IRSs. Big corporations can fight it, and they usually win, because these companies, when you go to court, you find out they have no legal standard for what they did, and that’s why they lost the Chevron case. So I think this is going to make the IRS and EPA, OSHA, and a lot of these agencies a little bit better just from that decision alone than they’ve been for the last 25, 35 years, and so these regulations that are going to go away.

Like I said, I’m a businessman. I’m in the paint business. I manufacture automotive and marine aircraft paint, and we have regulations from the EPA, from OSHA, from other places, state fire marshals that have no basis in fact of safety or what’s best for the environment. You name it, they make things up as they go. I gave you a short, a 711 short, a few weeks ago about the calcium carbonate, which is the main ingredient in Tums, and how the considers that dangerous for paint companies. For example, the stripper that people use to strip paint off of aircraft or cars or other things on metal used to contain a product called methylene chloride, and it was considered a very harmful substance, and they made you remove it from your paint line if you were going to make paint stripper. My company makes a paint stripper that’s actually better than methylene chloride, which is safe and legal throughout the world, but we discovered that by accident, and as a result, we have something nobody else has.

(12: 32) But to go back to this methylene chloride, to show you the stupidity of these rules, you cannot put methylene chloride in a paint stripper, which will hopefully never touch your skin because it’ll burn the juice out of you if it does, but at the same time, this is the main product used to decaffeinate coffee. When you drink decaffeinated coffee, believe it or not, and you can look this up, this is what was used in the process to decaffeinate it. So you can strip the inside of your guts away with that product, but you can’t strip the paint off a car. Furthermore, if you don’t think that is a stupid rule, if you don’t think that is EPA running amuck and you don’t see a problem with these rules that these little paint companies or chemical companies like I have to live with, then you are a part of the problem yourself. Truth be told, that’s what both the RINOs and the Democrats have given to us in the last 40 years! All these regulations and rules that have no basis in science whatsoever. All everyone heard in regard to COVID was ‘to follow the science’. Well, they didn’t follow the science.

In our business, we try to follow the real science only to come up against the EPA or OSHA or other things that just make no sense. I’ll give you an example with the fire marshal. If you’re going to make paint as a manufacturer, the manufacturing room that you actually make the product, which is flammable in our case, you have to have a sprinkler system in order to comply with fire marshal regulations, national fire code, which is absolutely ludicrous. Why? Because water spreads solvent fires. Solvent is lighter than water. You all watch these World War II films or these marine films where a boat sinks and it catches on fire…it is when you see that the top of the water is on fire. Why is that? Because the oil floats to the top and if it’s on fire, the water is never going to put it out because it never touches it. So if you have a bad fire in a paint plant and the sprinklers come on, it’s going to spread that fire outside the plant, into the streets, into other buildings, you name it. The stupidest thing in the world is to have a paint plant with a water sprinkler system.

(15:38) We had a case in, I believe it was in South Carolina, with a former Nestle company. My family worked for Nestle, so this is a company that is near and dear to me…there was a food processing company that had to have sprinkler systems. They had so many flammable solvents there, and I don’t know why they’re using flammable solvents for food but just remember, this is what is in their food products. When there was a fire, it made the sprinkler system go off, and when water hit some of these chemicals, they blew up and injured some of the people. Thank God nobody was killed.

Point to be made again…food is more dangerous than the paint I make, it seems like. Thank God Robert Kennedy is coming on board, maybe to clean up our food. This entire week, we published on The Plain Truth Today broadcast, morning, noon, and night, all kinds of videos on what’s in your food. You will be amazed at the comparison of what is in an American hamburger versus a hamburger in Canada or Europe. You will be equally horrified of all the poisons and toxins that are in our everyday life.

We did a whole Your Health Today type Plain Truth Today broadcast this entire week.

(16:32) Like what happened in South Carolina as an example, this is what happens when you have regulations of an industry that the people making the regulations do not even know what they’re doing. They don’t have any common sense, and they certainly do not have any scientific skills at all. They are a bunch of bureaucrats who love to push their weight around, and especially with little businesses, because, you know, when you do this against a mega corporation, a worldwide global corporation, they have the resources. They have 50 lawyers waiting for a case on retainer all the time. When the EPA makes up a rule against one of these big companies, they find themselves sued, and they find themselves losing that lawsuit in a court situation. Well, little guys that are trying to compete against these mega global giants, we have a hard time hiring lawyers, and the kind of lawyers we’re going to hire are going to be very expensive, and a lot of those do not want to fight government agencies, the kind of lawyers we can afford, because they have to deal in the real world.

I’ll give you an example. You have a trouble with the IRS? Try to find a lawyer, any lawyer, who’s going to sue the IRS. If you’re not a billionaire like Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos, you’re not going to find too many lawyers willing to take a case against the IRS. Do you want to know why? Because they know the real plain truth…they know what’s going to happen to them. They’re going to be audited, they’re going to be hounded, and they’re going to be found in violation of some IRS rule, prosecuted, lose their law license, and maybe even go to jail. Lawfare from the good old IRS, because you had the audacity to try to sue them. So it’s hard for little guys like ourselves, and we’re a small family business, we do quite well for ourselves in this world, but I’ll tell you, we’re going to do a lot better like we did when the first Trump administration came around, and we never even saw the EPA, and we’re going to do well probably in 2025 through at least 2029, depending on who wins then again.

Regulations are really supported by the mega global giant corporations because they don’t have to follow those regulations at all. They know they don’t, but they know the little guy who is their competition, (and they do not like competition). cannot afford to fight these regulations. That is why big business and big government love to make all of these rules, which really only affects the small guy. That’s the plain truth.

Another topic for the week that was quite important, and I think we should also discuss is this Biden administration now allowing Ukraine to use long-range missiles to go into Russia. As a result, Russia retaliated using an ICBM evidently against them. Some people say that wasn’t what it was, some people say it was, but we have really escalated a war. Here you have an administration that’s going to be out of office in two months, pushing for a World War III, and no one in the news is really all that worried about it.

(20:28) Now I will admit one thing, I think Vladimir Putin has the moral and legal right to declare war on America and send missiles our way for the aggression we are showing the Russian people and the Russian government. However, I do believe Putin would not do that, because he realizes if he can just last two more months, considering he’s lasted for the last three years, if he can last just two more months, he is going to be able to be given an out, a peaceful out. I am talking about a face-saving measure by Donald Trump to stop the war with Ukraine. It’s best for the Ukrainian people, it’s best for the Russian people, and it’s best for the world. We need to stop these hot spots, these potential World War III potentials.

I did a program almost a year ago, I think it’s about a year ago, and said I feel, and I’m 69 and a half years old, and I went through the duck and cover of the early 1960s and the Cuban Missile Crisis, and the whole world thinking that we were going to blow each other up, the Soviet Union and the United States. I went through that, but I got news for you…in the last year, I think we’re closer to a nuclear World War III than we ever were in the 1950s or 60s. I’ll tell you why. Because neither the Russians nor the Americans really wanted to have a nuclear World War. Now we have players with the nuclear bomb, the H-bomb at that, maybe Iran, maybe North Korea, but other people around the world, who would be willing and think they can survive a nuclear exchange. That is what’s so scary. When countries think they can wage a nuclear World War and win it or even survive it, that’s when it becomes unthinkable in my mind, because that is going to lead to the deaths of a billion or two billion people.

Guess what? The Bible predicts there’s going to be a war.

(22:32) I’m not sure it’s the one coming up and if we’re going to have a World War III soon, I hope we don’t, however, the Bible does predict a war. We’re a quarter of the world, we’re looking at two billion, two and a half billion people are going to be killed in that war according to scripture. Another quarter of the world’s population, another two and a half billion, are going to die from disease and famine caused by that nuclear World War. Then you’re going to have another quarter of the population, some people, some scholars think it’s going to be up to 90% of the world’s population. You’re looking at about what, seven and a half billion people are going to die in three and a half years because of nuclear war of famine, of pestilences, and all kinds of woes described in the Book of Revelation. That is what we have to worry about. Hopefully, people with a sound mind, like the Trump administration I believe will have, will at least put this off for other generations to have to worry about. This does not have to happen in our lifetime.

I’m afraid that what I’ve been through for the last two and a half years, I was worried that it was going to happen in our lifetime. If Donald Trump was not elected and Harris became the President of the United States, we would be in a world war within months. North Korea would be in South Korea, China would be in Taiwan, Russia would nuke Poland, and a lot of the Eastern European countries, in my opinion, including Finland, maybe Sweden and Norway, and we would be in a holy mess. I think with the election of Donald Trump, the aggressors of this world are going to sit back and say, you know, we don’t really need to go through this right now. Because that is the fear that Trump is going to put in the Iranians, the Russians, the Chinese, the North Koreans, the people who are the problems of this world.

(23:15) The other thing that we have to worry about if there ever became a world war is how many sleeper cells there are in the United States of America. We have allowed them in due to this porous border of ours and they are in our cities and towns across the United States. They are training for strikes against the American people, against American infrastructure, nuclear power plants, truck depots, gasoline depots, you name it, power plants in general, taking down the grid as well. This can be happening from within by the terrorists which there are some 360 or 400 of them now. This is the number that we know who has gotten in in the last four years, yet there are probably five times that many…probably organized all over the United States ready to strike at a blink of an eye. Truth be told, if that doesn’t keep you awake a little bit at night, you’re really not understanding what a war of this magnitude would do to your life and the life of your loved ones and the life of this country and the whole world.

(25:39) I think if the Republicans can keep their act together, and Donald Trump can keep his act together, and he has a good cabinet, and they get they run out of the plate with all these good agendas, and they stop all this DEI. One of the things I’ve noticed in our local post offices, it’s been completely taken over by the DEI. We have, and I’ll be frank here, you can call me a racist if you want, you’ve had white women working in post offices now, in these little town post offices in my area alone, that have been put on from 40 hours a week to eight hours a week. Can you imagine eight and 16 hours a week hoping they will quit? Who do they put in as the postmasters? Two postmasters in one summer. Two post masters in my little two towns, one I live in and one I work in, has been replaced by a DEI postmaster. In both cases in the town I live in, everyone but one person quit because they couldn’t work for the B-I-T-C-H. In the other town where my paint plant is, they have put everybody on part-time in order to get them to quit, so they can replace them with their cronies, more DEI people. That’s what the IRS is filled with. That’s what the EPA is filled with. That is what a lot of these government agencies are filled with. When you talk about a government job today, you’re really talking about a job for honestly a DEI.

That’s all they want it to be. It is a code word to hire people that do not deserve a job.

(27:11) DEI employees. They’re lazy, and they don’t want to work, and they’ve got their hands out for entitlement. In both cases, and the post office I’m talking about, these people don’t even want to work. The one in my hometown, she sits behind a desk looking at a computer, will not talk to you, will not come and help you if you’re waiting in line to get your mail because they don’t even deliver it. I get mail delivered to my house maybe twice a week because they won’t deliver anymore because they’re undermanned because everybody quit. Pretty soon they’re going to be all filled up with new people who can’t find the mail. Now you’ve got to go get your mail, and the person won’t even make eye contact with you or talk to you. That’s the stuff that’s got to end. This is the stuff that Donald Trump, I think, can end a lot of it. He’s going to have a hard road to hoe.

It’s going to be a lot of hardship coming, but I think the American people will stand by him to get this country on its feet again and this is for all races. For the Black people who want to work and are hard workers and are American patriots, it’s not good for them either. It’s not good for the Hispanics, as we saw with this last election, why so many went with Donald Trump. They don’t want to see illegals coming over the border, Hispanic or not, taking their jobs for nothing.

The Democratic Party has become the party of the elite billionaire and the elite big business.

The Republican Party is now the party of the people.

Well, this is the Friday wrap-up for today. Tomorrow is the Sabbath day. We’ll have a Sabbath morning show and then 7-11 tomorrow night, during the Sabbath night, we will have another short story up. We started doing this a few weeks ago. Off course, Sunday, we will have a program. You’ll see me back here or hear me back here Monday morning on The Plain Truth Today. Until then, this is Bob Barney for The Plain Truth Today, saying thank you for listening. Have a good, safe, happy weekend. Bye-bye.
