 Bob Barney’s Friday Wrap-Up for June 12, 2026

Hello, it’s Bob Barney with The Plain Truth today, brought to you by theplaintruth.com. It’s a Friday wrap-up. I’m in a different area today, the House, because work is going on, but I wanted to get over what’s going on this week, or the big stories of the week, and I guess the biggest ones so far. Well, there’s a couple I should talk about.

I guess number one is this so-called peace deal that Donald Trump was talking about yesterday,that yesterday morning he was saying that he was going to, you know, bomb them off the face of the earth, and by four hours later, for the 38th time, he said there was a peace deal, agreed to.Iran begged for a peace deal, and he’s paused the bombing campaign that he had initiated. And honestly, when I watched the news, even Fox News, it was almost disbelief in the incredible BS coming out of that man’s mouth.

Thirty-eight times now, and they went through, I think it was MSNBC, maybe it was CNN, one of the lefties, but it was funny. They went through the 38 times in three months that Donald Trump declared victory, that he had beaten Iran and we had won the war. Thirty-eight times in three months.

And when you put together, or when they put together a collage of all of the victory speeches that we’ve had from Donald Trump, it was funny. It honestly was, you know, satire and funny, but at the same time, it was sad. It’s really sad that we have a president that absolutely does not know today how to tell the truth.

Everything that absolutely comes out of his mouth is just nonsense. It’s lying. It’s just makingthings up as he goes.

When you’re in sales as long as I’ve been, and you’re reading either another salesperson or even a customer, you learn to watch their speaking style, and you learn to watch what they do when they’re telling you. One of the funny things that I learned in 1980, when I got into the paint business, you know, I come from a little town in Connecticut, and I moved to, you know, Hollywood, Florida. I got a job.

First job down there was with a paint company, and that’s how I got into the paint business. My college degree was in political science, and I had no intentions in Connecticut to ever be in the paint business. But things happened in Florida, and I got into it, and I became a salesman with very little knowledge of the product.

It was a long but a very good education that I became a pretty good expert in this community that I’m in when it comes to automotive and marine and industrial paint. One of the things that I learned, which was so funny, and I use it to this day, and every time I talk to another salesman that they instantly laugh when they hear the three rules. I worked for a man named Danny Fogarty, and he was a New Yorker, transplanted to Hollywood, Florida.

He was a big, tall, Fonz kind of guy if you watched, you know, old TV. He said, Bob, you’re going to have to learn three rules. I know you’ve never been in this kind of a business.

You sell vegetables. You know, you’re lucky about that because, you know, our stuff doesn’t rot. You don’t have to worry about trying to sell it by the end of the day.

But he said, here’s the three rules you’ll never, if you ever break, it will break you in this business. And it really applies to every business. Rule number one, and this is the one that gets everybody laughing, buyers are liars.

Whatever someone’s telling you when they’re buying from you is a lie because they’re trying to get the best deal from you. They’re trying to talk you into doing something and just realize everything you’re being told is a lie. Rule number two was if you go to a place and they’re happy to see you and you’ve been there the first time and you never sold them before, and they come in and they give you this large laundry list order, and you think you’ve really done good, and they write you a check, the check’s going to bounce because you’re going to find out there on COD what everybody else in town, and because you’re a newbie on the block, you didn’t realize they’re deadbeats, didn’t pay their bill.

That always has turned out to be true. Rule number three was never knock the competition because you have to sell yourself, and you sell yourself by your abilities and the product you’re selling’s quality. When you knock the competition, what ends up happening is you may be fired.

I may fire your butt, and now you got to go work for that competition that you have told your customers were no good. Now you look like you’re a liar, and you are a liar. If you’re going to knock the competition and then end up working for them because you lose your job, you haven’t made a customer believe in you.

You’ve made, and you see this in politicians, you know, negative ads in politicians, and really what it does is turn the voter off because people want to know what you’re about, what your product’s about. They want to see enthusiasm in what you’re selling, that you believe in what you’re selling. They also want to believe you believe in them, and you want to help them, and that was the three rules.

Well, I can watch Donald Trump sitting at his desk surrounded by reporters, and it is awfully obvious that he’s just making it up as he goes. You could see his eyes wander thinking about the next line he’s going to say, and you watch his staff around him. Watch the cabinet members around him or staff in the corner when he’s talking.

You can see by the expression in their face they know he’s BSing, and then last week, you know, came out another story before we get into what I’m finishing here, is there is a panic going on in the White House. This is reported by the New York Times, and I know so many people on the right think the New York Times is a rag, and sometimes I think they are, but you know some of the stories, you can’t just discount all the stories coming out because people in the White House are leaking this stuff. If you have a high-level Situation Room meeting with only high-level cabinet members and the FBI director, and there are reports of what went on in that meeting, that means one of these high-level people around Trump are talking to the New York Times because they don’t like what they see.

That’s what it means, and it’s a very brutal thing when you think about it, and they’re saying that this Jeffrey Epstein thing is really really scaring the heck out of the cabinet and all of the advisors around Donald Trump, because there is so many things about Epstein and Trump’s relationship that I believe they believe is not true, but they are covering up because the accusations against Donald Trump with young girls is so bad that they realize if it came to light and they release those files, it would absolutely destroy Donald Trump’s presidency. Like I said, even the New York Times has said in the story that the cabinet members do not believe the stories because they seem to be made up, but they also are so vicious of what he was accused of doing by so many young women, and they don’t think they could get that information out and be able to convince theAmerican people today that it wasn’t true. Like I said, the reason I believe this New York Timesstory is because it is not a hit piece against Donald Trump.

It is a piece saying there is an absolute panic going around the White House that this Epstein thing got so far out of hand, they handled it terribly by trying to cover everything up and bury it, and his comments when he went to war with Nancy Mace, with Massey, with MTG, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and every Republican who forced the expose of Jeffrey Epstein to be released, and he went to war with them and absolutely made sure they were defeated in Republican primaries. I think if the information was to come to light, and one of them did on the Drudge Report, if these reports do come to national attention, I think he’s got a problem, and I think the cabinet thinks he’s got a problem. But the biggest problem that I see with Donald Trump, I see a man with declining health.

I see a man who I believe has lost his senses, his revenge, and his anger against what was done to him. And what was done to him was wrong. It was lawfare.

The people who did it to him should be put in jail. But at the same time, he has become what they are. I’ll be right back.

And on Sunday, 7-11 a.m., we always do a weekly wrap-up show, not my own, which you’re listening to today, which we always do on Friday night, basically, at 7-11 p.m., but on Sunday morning at 7-11 a.m., we put up like a Mark Halpern or someone like that, a wrap-up of what happened the week before, just like a Sunday morning show that you would watch on CBS or ABC. And we’re back in the next story, I think, after this thing about the war that is or it is not settled, and I don’t believe it’s settled at all.

I think it’s just another playing the stock market. I mean, the stock market yesterday went up a thousand points after it went down a thousand points when he said he was going to war again. And then four hours later, he says he’s made a peace deal, and the war is over.

And then the stock market goes up 1,000 points. That’s a 2,000-point swing in two days, less than two days. And if that’s not stock manipulation, I don’t know what is.

But the thing that really gets me about that whole scenario is that investors have not yet woken up to the fact that the stock market is being manipulated. When you have 1,000-point swings in a day or two, you’ve got a problem. You’ve got a problem with an economic system on the verge of collapse.

You’ve got people who, on the basis of a news story, invest literally a trillion dollars, these big wealth funds, one way or another. You have to ask yourself, what’s going to happen when a bunch of bad news hits? And the stock market’s over 50,000. I know everybody thinks it’s going to go up forever.

There is going to be a very big crash in the stock market. It’s going to be probably, in my opinion, I’m not a stock man, I’m not a financial advisor, but in my opinion, it’s going to be worse than the 1929 crash. You have people investing in the stock market today who do not know what they’re doing.

They’re watching these business TV shows or radio shows, and they are investing without any knowledge of the corruption going on on Wall Street within these TV economic shows. Many years ago, I remember Maria Bartolomo in trouble because she was flying around the country and shacked up with one of the executives of a company that she was talking about. And that’s a problem.

And it was a problem for her, but somehow she was able to survive through it. She left CNBC, ended up at Fox Business, and that probably is what saved her career. But it was a very trying time.

But right now, when you watch these business shows, what you are watching are people who themselves are invested in certain stocks. They invest in stocks. Yes, they disclose they’re invested in this stock, but what they do is they promote that stock.

So you buy it, and what they’re not telling you about is the next day they’re probably going to sell the stock after you listen to them tell you how it’s going to be the biggest stock of the year, and then it’s going to fall down into the cracks when they sell up high and you’re the one holding the bag. That’s what they’re not telling you. The other thing they’re doing on these business shows, CNBC used to be my favorite.

Right now, it’s my worst. Fox Business is almost as bad. I’m listening to Bloomberg more than I am to CNBC.

They have these commercials on with absolute fraudulent investor experts, they call themselves.So they sit down there and they say, this little stock is going to do this in five years, and I’ve been always right, and everybody listens to me because I’m the biggest guy in the world. And it’s a guy you never even heard of.

And there’s like a dozen of them telling you that if you give them some money, they’re going to tell you how to make money. Well, I got news for you. If they really knew how to invest in the stock market and make billions of dollars, then they wouldn’t be sharing that with you.

They would do it themselves and they’d be richer than Elon Musk. These people are charlatans. They’re fraudulent.

CNBC knows that when they take their money to play these commercials, and they know they’re defrauding the public that’s watching their TV show. The people who are supporting CNBC and watching that show and getting propaganda from charlatans, from absolute criminals, that they take their money for advertisement, tells you what they think of you watching them. They don’t care if you’re screwed or not.

And if that’s not a problem, I don’t know what else is. But going on to the next story, I’m kind of going out of socket here, but some of the things lately, it’s just bothered me what I’m seeing. I’m seeing corruption everywhere.

I’m seeing corruption in the gasoline companies. There’s no way our gas should be $4 a gallon. It’s not true.

The war is bad. Donald Trump’s done a bad thing. But we are exporting 8 million barrels of oil a day out of only 14 billion.

Did I say million? 8 million barrels of oil a day, and we only make 14 million barrels a day. So more than half of the oil we extract from the United States, our oil companies are selling overseas because the oil is really not $90 a barrel or $100 a barrel to third world countries. There is apremium.

And I learned this just a week ago or a month ago, maybe now. There is a premium that the big oil companies charge third world nations who desperately need oil, and they gouge. When oil was $103, when West Texas crude last month hit $115, countries in Africa and Asia were paying $140 a barrel because they had to buy a premium because oil around the world is in short supply because of the Gulf being shut down.

It’s not in short supply in America, but we’re selling our oil overseas to make huge profits and don’t have to worry about refining oil into gas. So what does that do with our gas? It makes our gas very expensive because the amount of oil left in America is below what we need to make gas.So there becomes a supply demand issue with our gas that I don’t see any news agency reporting.

The only person that I know reported this fact about the 8 million barrels of oil a day beingexported was Bill O’Reilly on his radio show. The only one. I would think that quite a few peoplestill listen.

I’m talking about in the media world. I’m talking about the people who do the CBS Evening News, the CNN News, the Fox News, the News Nation News, and it did get out on Cuomo what Bill O’Reilly said. But Bill O’Reilly is a big enough person still in the news, even though he’s only on his own podcast now, he’s still a big enough person that you would listen, somebody would be listening to what he had to say and then report it.

But as far as I know, only one TV show in the last three weeks has even reported, and it was Bill O’Reilly himself being interviewed by Cuomo, the Cuomo show, that 8 million barrels a day are being sold overseas and gouging third world countries on top of that, talk about unconscionable, to make a profit. And they’re making record profits, Exxon Mobil, all of these are making record profits off your backs. And you don’t hear Donald Trump rail against these people, do you? He’s become part of the elite.

He is not the Donald Trump of 2017. I know, I did very well in my business with the first Donald Trump. Donald Trump was a champion for the middle class and especially the middle class business owner.

And today he’s a champion for the billionaires and he’s making billionaires trillionaires. And that’s the story we’re going to get to after this next commercial is SpaceX, where Elon Musk is going to become the first trillionaire. Think about that.

That means Elon Musk’s wealth is 140th of our debt. Think about that. I’ll be right back.

And what I wanted to finish up talking about today was the SpaceX IPO and what I think is probably one of the biggest scandals going on.

I’m not sure that if you invested, he sold 935 million shares at the biggest ever at $135 a share. I’m not saying I didn’t buy any of this stuff. First of all, people don’t know this, but when you buy an IPO, you can’t sell it for 30 or 60 days.

And so you may make a lot of money. If I could bought the shares today and sold it next tomorrowor next week, I think I would do it. But in my opinion, this is another scheme that rich people like Elon Musk do to take every dime out of your pocket and put it in their pocket.

I do not believe, and I was wrong about Facebook, and I was wrong about NVIDIA, and I was wrong about Tesla. So don’t take my financial advice. If you want to buy it, buy it.

But in my opinion, it’s going to crash and burn. It’s going to take a trillion dollars out of your pocket. If you’re a middle-class American investor, it’s going to take a trillion dollars out of your pocket with little or no return and end up probably in trouble.

Yes, it’s got government money behind it. He’s doing space and research for the government, and he’s got that big government agency pouring money into him. What happens in 2028 when Republicans lose the House and the Senate, if they don’t do it this year, and they probably will, and a Democrat becomes president? What do you think happens? Well, they’re going to see Elon Musk as the enemy now of the Democratic Party.

He used to be their darling when he supported them, but then he went to support Trump, their archenemy. And you can bet your boots that when the Democrats are in control of this country, all kinds of bad things are going to happen. But a lot of bad things are going to happen to SpaceX in retaliation.

And SpaceX is probably going to lose a lot of government contracts. And you’re going to see that the people who invested in SpaceX just made Elon Musk a trillionaire out of their pockets. And that’s what’s been going on in this country for the last, I don’t know, 30, 40 years, where we’ve basically been scammed out of our money, if you’re part of the middle class, to the wealthy class.

That’s what’s going on. That’s what’s going on right now. And that is what this Trump administration is doing to you.

I voted for Donald Trump three times. I’m telling you this right now. I was a Trump supporter even up until the inauguration in January of 2025, when I saw that White House desk surrounded by the richest people in the world.

And I said to my wife, this is not Trump 1.0. He’s about retribution. He’s about making personalmoney for him and his family. As a matter of fact, his sons have said they’re going to be the richest family in the world by the time he’s no longer president.

And even people as arrogant as his sons will admit, they’re all going to get pardons. They’ve admitted that. At least there’s reports they’ve admitted that, not publicly, but to many people, that this is a plan to get even with their enemies, put them in jail, and become the richest family on earth.

It’s evil. And if God did support Donald Trump, which I do believe he was absolutely supported by God, but so was King Saul. People forget this.

They say, well, God never makes a mistake. Well, God said he made a Saul king over my people Israel. I am sorry.

That’s first person God speaking, in red, in the plain truth Bible, where the Old Testament is the words of God are in red, and that was Jesus Christ is the God of the Old Testament. I am sorry I made Saul president. And Saul did not do half of the crimes against God that Donald Trump has done this time around.

That’s the truth, the plain truth. It’s very sorry for me to say, because I was on this radio or broadcast a year and a half ago, saying how I think Donald Trump will save this country from what Joe Biden was doing to this country. Because if you think I’m a Democrat, you think I think they’ve done a good job, well, I think Barack Obama and Joe Biden should be tried for treason.

And by the way, treason, I still believe, I think I’m right, has a death penalty attached to it. But you could take at least the second Bush, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden, both parties we’re talking about here, and you can make a very good case that what they did overseas to the American people would be considered treason by our forefathers. And it was definitely impeachable on all of their jail sentences, if not death sentences.

And that’s what we’ve had. I’m going to come now into what’s going to happen this weekend, because tomorrow morning we have a Sabbath show, and then tomorrow afternoon, like I said, evening, I should say, at 7-11 p.m., we have a 7-11 p.m. show. And the morning Sabbath show is a complete movie.

It’s the, I think, a 1977 movie called Jesus, and it’s probably the best of all of them. It’s the, all of the words of that movie is taken directly from the book of Luke. So there’s not a lot of Hollywood in the movie.

Of course, they got Jesus with long hair, which, of course, we all know he didn’t have, if you understand the Bible. But it’s a very good movie. And like I said, every word from that movie is the English version of the Bible from the book of Luke.

So they end the movie with the book of John, but for the most part, it’s for the book of Luke. And that’s the morning, and it’s about an hour and a half to two hour movie. So if you want to watch it on your TV, if you know how to cast the YouTube to the TV, you can watch it very easily.

And the p.m. show is going to be another movie. It’s Ike Countdown to D-Day. We just came out of D-Day last week, and so I thought I’d put up a movie.

It’s a documentary type, and it’s very, very well acted and really a good movie. It’s about a week or two of D-Day, the planning, and the execution. It stars Tom Selleck as Eisenhower.

And like I said, it’s a very good movie. And again, you can cast that to your TV if you know how to do it. And that’s that.

That’s tomorrow’s shows. Tomorrow is the Sabbath day. We keep saying on the plaintruth.comthat the Ten Commandments are still in force.

God’s laws have never changed. In fact, Jesus Christ says he’s going to take his laws that he wrote with his own finger on stone, and he’s going to put them in the hearts of the people. So they will no longer be on stone, but they will be within your mind and within your heart.

The law has not been abolished, as so many religions, so-called Christian religions, are trying to tell you. The Sabbath day is still in force. It will always be in force.

And Saturday, that we know is Saturday anyway, is really the Sabbath day that you find in your Bible. It’s not the day for the Jews. It’s the day for all mankind.

The Sabbath day was invented at creation week, and probably it was in existence before that, according to Jewish tradition. If that’s true or not, I’m not sure. But we know it was on the seventh day of the first week of creation, and that was for Adam and Eve.

Adam and Eve is the father and mother of all human beings on the face of this earth today. And so that Sabbath is made for you and for me, and God expects us to obey his laws. Well, that’s the wrap-up for this Friday, June the 12th.
