Mass Shootings, Lawlessness and Anti-Semitism (Transcript)

Two shootings and a stabbing all about the same time last week, and then you have to ask yourself, as people always do, why do these things happen? And is it saying something about our society? Hi, Bob Barney with The Plain Truth today, brought to you by theplaintruth.com. And this is probably going to be a brief show. As I mentioned, yesterday was our anniversary, and today we’re just trying to get back to normal, but still taking most of the day off. So I’m doing a fast one here.And I just wanted to get over a topic we’ve done before, and I’m going to just revamp it for new people that haven’t heard this before. But tragedies happen because we just are a lawless people, a lawless breed, a lawless nation, lawless world. And lawlessness is rampant in our generation.

It hasn’t always been the case. There’s been good times and there’s been bad times over the history of mankind. And we are in a bad time right now.And it’s because people just don’t want to follow God’s word, the Ten Commandments, thou shall not kill, thou shall not covet, thou shall not murder, is the real word for kill, steal, all these things you’re not supposed to do. And unfortunately, our leaders are basically lawless themselves. I don’t think we’ve been in a time that there’s been so much corruption in this government, this business sector, or just amongst every person. I’ve mentioned before that we have an online business. We sell automotive, marine, and fleet paint. And for the first time in about the last two or three years, we have absolute fraudulent chargebacks every month to the tune of thousands of dollars.And it is a lot of money. In fact, when you add it up in a year’s time, it would pay for probably two employees’ salaries of the absolute fraud. We’re not talking about chargeback because somebody didn’t get what they wanted, or somebody, which we would have refunded anyway, or somebody didn’t get a delivery.

We have insurance for that. And they pay for insurance, and the insurance would cover it. We’re talking about absolute theft.And that’s what I’m talking about, absolute theft from our company by fraudulent people online who buy with one credit card, let’s say their girlfriend’s credit card with a different name, and they have it sent to their address. Sounds innocent, doesn’t it? And then 60 days later, you get a chargeback. Sometimes some orders of $2,500, $2,500 chargeback.And the woman will swear, she will make a statement and swear, which is a felony if it was ever tracked down by the police, that she doesn’t even know the person that it was sent to. When many times my wife has taken the order, and she’s been talking to my wife at the same time. You show evidence to the credit card company that it’s fraud, and they still rule in favor of the crook.Now that is big business siding with lawlessness, because they don’t want to lose their money because they know they’re not going to get their money from those people. They’re going to refuse to pay their credit card bill. And instead of suing them for the credit card money and ruining their credit, it’s just as easy to charge back against a legitimate business and let the business eat the dollars, eat the money.

And who do you think ends up paying for that? Well, if you have sometimes $5,000, $6,000, $7,000 a month in chargebacks, and you’re not that big of a company, well, you got to kind of spread that out over all the other people who are buying that are honest. You can’t keep losing money, so you have to raise money. How much do you think when you buy off Amazon, I hear over and over again, even friends of mine, even I have said this until it started to happen to us, well, Amazon doesn’t have the great prices that it used to have.At one time, Amazon had great prices, but now they’re sometimes more expensive than if you just go to the store and buy something. Well, why would that be? It’s because if you do any research, or if you know anybody who sells on Amazon, which we do not, by the way, because we’ve learned not to, that you find out that most businesses that sell on Amazon, not Amazon itself, you know, 60% of all of the sales on Amazon does not come from Amazon. It comes from small companies like myself that are selling through the Amazon website. And Amazon will always side with the customer in any dispute, and you will be charged back as a company. I know of several companies that I am familiar with who have stopped selling on Amazon. I also have heard of several other companies, not paint companies, these are car detail companies, that actually went out of business because Amazon chargebacks forced them to lose so much money they could not remain in business.

This criminal lawlessness that is supported by big business, big government, big everything, that allows small businesses to actually lose a lot of money and in many cases go out of business, this is a problem. And it’s a problem that is making many small businesses re-evaluate how they’re going to sell. The least thing they’re doing is raising their prices to everyone else to help cover those losses.This is what happens when you live in a lawless society, a lawless world, a world that refuses to follow God’s laws and understand what the Bible says, what happens to nations and to people who break the law. Because God will get even. This is not God’s world and we say this all the time.Why was this shooting going on in Australia or Brown University or the stabbing of Rob Reiner and his wife by his own son or their own son? The reason is of lawlessness and because we have an insane sick society, I’m afraid to say, a society that just basically has broken down. It’s happened before in history, it will happen later on in history, and we know that when the end times finally come, I mean the very end times, the tribulation, lawlessness will abound. Read that in the Bible.Lawlessness will abound because people will refuse to follow what God says is right. The Ten Commandments can be summed up in two commandments according to Jesus in the Bible. That is, love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your might and love your neighbor as yourself.

Well, if you are loving your neighbor as you would love yourself, would you like to see yourself robbed of your hard-earned cash from fraudulent online businesses? Would you like to see people continuously rob and steal and cheat and commit adultery and murder people because they don’t like their political beliefs or they don’t like their religion? The people in Australia were all Jews. It was the first day of Hanukkah and they were all murdered and butchered by two Arabs, Muslims, radicals, and ironically, and I’m glad to say this in a way, it was another Muslim, a street vendor who sold vegetables and fruits and stuff on the beach that actually attacked one of the two gunmen, it was father and son gunman, and he was actually shot five times but he still went to dearm and capture, which he did, the son suspect. The father was killed by the police and he actually said before he charged after the guy with the rifle, it was actually a shotgun, he said to a friend next to him that he’s going to die but he had to do it.And brave man, he’s still in the hospital, he still has very serious wounds, I think from what I read he’s going to pull through, but you have to ask yourself again, why did it happen? Well, hatreds of Jews right now is worldwide. Hatred of America is worldwide. What is the connection? Well, people try to say, well, America supports Zionism and Israel.

Well, people try to say, well, America supports Zionism and Israel.That’s not the reason, because the real reason is Satan the devil, and Satan the devil knows the identity of the Jewish people, the whole world knows the identity of the Jewish people, they are the people of part of the Bible. What most people do not know, what this show tries to point out constantly, is that the United States of America is also part of lost Israel, part of the Israel of your Bible, and so Satan hates not only the Jews, but anything that is part of the lost ten tribes, which is France, Denmark, the United Kingdom countries, and Canada, and America, Australia, Australia, where this mass shooting happened over the weekend. And the reason is, as I point out, is there is a spirit of lawlessness, and the author of lawlessness is none other than Satan the devil, and his minions affect people’s minds.I’ve heard it said a long time ago by many people, Armstrong’s made this very popular, especially Herbert Armstrong in the past, that your mind is like a radio. It’s a receptor of messages from God and from the devil, and you may be walking down the street and get this thought in your mind, you don’t know where it comes from, it’s because the devil or God gave you that thought, because your mind can pick up the reception, that radio wave, that spiritual wave, I should say, in your brain that is either sent by God, an angel, or a demon, or the devil himself, and that is what’s happening here when you see these evil people begin killing people because they hate the religion. And this is an absolute atrocity that the world is turning its blind head again, because in Australia you had a prime minister who at first came out and then did not even mention the Jewish connection to the killings.

It took Donald Trump, thank God for Donald Trump on this one point, it took Donald Trump to actually call it what it was, an assault against the Jewish people on Hanukkah before the Australian prime minister could go belly up to the bar and admit that is what it was, and then promise it would never happen again, which is just a total crock of you-know-what, because the leadership of this world is anti-Semitic. I got news for you, the Democratic Party right now is totally anti-Semitic and pro-Muslim terrorist. So are many Republicans, so are many people on the right who use their hatred of Jews as an excuse to say they deserve what happens to them. We see with Rob Reiner, for example, stabbed by his son, he’s a liberal guy, he stood for many liberal causes, there’s not one cause I agree with him with. I do think he didn’t deserve to be stabbed by his son, no one deserves to be murdered, or you believe in lawlessness if you think they do deserve to be murdered, and then you even had the President of the United States kind of personalize it and said, oh, because he was a never-Trumper, that’s why he was stabbed by his son. I guess you’re insinuating that anybody who’s a never-Trumper deserves to be killed by their own children.

It’s preposterous. And this morning, on one of the TV shows I was watching, you had the Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, refuse to even go there and condemn what President Trump said. Now, if somebody like a Democrat on the other side of Kamala Harris said something like that, then Mike Johnson would have politicized it instantly, said it was absolutely an impeachable offense if she was President or Biden was President, and that it should be actually counted against them, and there should be retribution. If you remember right, Pam Bondi, when people were happy that Charlie Kirk was assassinated, she started firing people in the Justice Department that held those views. But I guess nobody can really fire Donald Trump for holding those views, but you would think that if you had leaders with morals, leaders would say, and I’m not talking about Democrats, because every Democrat’s going to go against what Donald Trump said, no matter what Donald Trump said. But if you had Republicans with morals, they would stand up and denounce what he said.

But that’s not what’s happening, because like I said, this is a lawless world. God is not included in any of our leaders. When they sit there and they talk about God, and they talk like the Republicans, they act like they’re so pious, and they’re so Christian, and they’re protecting Christians around the world, they’re lying to you, because they’re under the influence of this world, and this world is owned by the devil.And if you don’t believe that, you can just go to the writings of Paul, when he says the God of this world is Satan the devil, and the demons are his ministers. That’s what the Bible says. That’s who controls this world.And unfortunately, we go from time to time when this world finds a sense of morality, and we’ve been through that in the 1930s and 40s and 50s, at least in America. The 40s, of course, no morality when it came to the Japanese and the Germans and the Soviets, and then the communist Chinese in the 50s, where Mao Zedong starved 45 million Chinese to death because of his stupid policies. But for the most part in America, we had a moral Christian-backed nation, even though the Christianity they propounded at the time was not the Christianity of Jesus Christ.It was still based on a belief in Jesus Christ, and it was still based on a belief in morality and the Ten Commandments. But the Ten Commandments is no longer in force. Even your ministers say that Christ nailed the commandments to the cross with him when he died, and we are no longer under the law.

Well, a Christian who is repentant, who loves the Lord their God with all their heart and all their might and their neighbor as themselves, they are free from the penalty of the law. That’s what Paul said. They are not under condemnation anymore, and when they sin and they ask for forgiveness, they will be forgiven because of their heart and of their mindful of the law, following and understanding the law is good.Those people find that the law has no penalty over them because Christ’s death covers that sin that they did. So they are justified by Christ’s death, nothing by what they did. There is no work that you can do on the face of this earth that justifies you to Christ.Only his death justified your sins. Nothing you can do can justify it. But that is not an excuse to keep on sinning and say the law has been abolished and say I can do anything I want to do, and if I want to, and say that Christ is okay with it.Because that’s blasphemy. That is downright blasphemy, and we’re living in a society today where our religious leaders, our politicians, and especially our leaders in general, all over the place, from the newspapers to, like I said, world leaders everywhere, are practicing lawlessness. And if you want to know how to end this, it’s getting back to the basic principles of the Bible.Unfortunately, I do not see that happening in my lifetime. I hope I’m wrong, but I just don’t see it happening. I wish it would happen, and I’m hoping it will happen, but I don’t see it happening.

And until people do go to the Bible, start seeing what God wants them to do, and how to live their life, this stuff is going to continue. And if you want to know why it happens, well, it’s called lawlessness. And all I can say is the killing in Brown University, which also may be Jewish-related.The professor whose class the gunman decided to go in and start shooting up was Jewish himself, and again, it was Hanukkah time. So that may be the clue there too. There is evil everywhere around us.I even tell my family, my wife, even my children, or anybody that wants to hear my opinion, that it’s about time that we do something. But until we do something as a people, I do not recommend women going shopping around Christmas time, or probably almost any time, by themselves anymore. It is not safe in the streets of America.You can walk down what you think is the safest area in the world, and find yourself a victim of terrible violence. And that is the state we’re in in this country, the state that Europe is in, the state that much of the world is in. I have to admit, places like China have no crime, but they also have no freedom.

They have no representation of liberty, or any semblance of any kind of democracy at all. And so I don’t think we want to give up our freedoms for safety either. As Ben Franklin pointed out, people who will give up their freedom for safety deserve neither, and will get neither. But that is the short story today. Like I said, this would be a short one. I did want to address, and I will again tomorrow, in the Friday wrap-up, tomorrow evening at 7 11 p.m., I did want to get into why these things happen. And they happen for a very good reason. It is called lawlessness. And if you listen to this program, you read the articles we put up, the warnings that we send, that the Bible is where you go to get all your answers about how you should treat your neighbor, how you should treat yourself, how you should treat God, because God needs to be treated right too. And if you do not do that, you do not trust what the Bible has to say, you are bound and determined, and you will continue to live in such tragedy as we’re living today. Well, that’s a pretty brief, about a 20-minute brief wrap-up of the shootings, the stabbings, and what it means, and what is the cause, and what is the solution. The solution just possibly just isn’t coming our way for a long time.

It is sating the devil, it is the demons, it is lawlessness that is prevailing. That is the reason you’re going through, or we’re going through what we are, and it will continue maybe until Christ returns.
