Do not be deceived and let anyone fool you that you are going to see Christ’s return at any moment. It’s just not going to happen. These things have to be fulfilled.

The Plain Truth is so Happy That You Have Been Enjoying Bob’s Broadcasts.
2000 years ago, a newscaster that we know of as Jesus Christ warned us about false Christianity. The warning was not against the devil but against false Christianity…about people who come in His name and deceive many.
Hello, this is Bob Barney. Pardon my voice, I’m battling a pretty strong head cold right now, and so I apologize for the scratchiness of my voice. What I want to get into today, especially with the war in the Middle East and the possibility that we are in World War III, is if these scenarios imply that we are facing the end times and if this all means that Christ is ready to return at any moment.
One of the misconceptions that many of the fundamentalist, Pentecostalist type churches have is that they believe, and they teach their people that Christ’s coming could happen at any moment…that He could return tomorrow. They make it seem like you will be on your way to school or you’re on your way to work and boom, He’s here or that the great rapture will happen. The “rapture” by the way is another great deception that many people teach.
What I want to go over briefly today is what signs must occur before Christ’s coming happens, according to His own word.
3:03 When Christ was asked on the Mount of Olives some 2,000 years ago, when He would come back and what would be the signs of His coming, he gave a very brief explanation in Matthew 24. This chapter in Matthew totally corresponds with the Four Horsemen of the apocalypse, the white horse, the red horse, the pale horse, and the black horse. Christ said, let no one deceive you, and that, of course, the white horse is a false religion, for many will come in my name, in Jesus’ own name, claiming that I, Jesus, am the Christ, but will deceive many.
You see, there will be many false Christianity preachers, or Christian preachers, I should say, and entire churches dedicated to Christianity that Christ warns us about. He says that this is a great false gospel to be wary of. Even Paul in his commentaries and letters to the various churches, warns that already in his day there would be a scattering abroad among many infiltrators to the true church a false gospel, even spoken of as another gospel, Paul said. He said it would not be a gospel that Jesus Christ brought, or that the apostles brought, or that he himself was bringing.
5:23 Getting back to what things must happen before Christ returns can be basically understood from a few biblical notions that Christ Himself agreed to. Number one, watch for false prophets. False Christianity, which is all the four horsemen, really happened since the time of the apostles. The end time actually really started in Revelation at the time of John, but the time of the tribulation is yet to occur, and Christ gave us some signals to look out for before He returns.
The first scenario that had to happen according to the Bible was that there had to be a population that could destroy itself. If the human race cannot destroy itself or could not until the advent of the atomic bomb, then the whole world would not be in trouble of destruction.
In Matthew 24:22, describing world conditions prior to His second coming, Jesus said, if that time of troubles were not cut short, no living thing could survive. But for the elect’s sake, and that means the Christians, that time will be cut short. So therefore, you have to look for a time when man could annihilate himself. That didn’t really happen until 1945, and that really couldn’t even happen then until maybe the 1960s, when Russia, the United States, and several other countries had so many nuclear weapons they could destroy the earth 25 times over, so it was said.
The second scenario was that you had to look out for a sign that the Jewish homeland of Judah would be re-established in the Middle East. Now, don’t get confused here. In former broadcasts, I pointed out there are two separate nations talked about in the Bible concerning Israel. The Northern Ten Tribes of Israel, which were taken into captivity, and today is confound in Western Europe, United States, and Canada, and Great Britain. Also included is the Southern Kingdom called Judah, which encompasses the Jews.
All Jews are Israelites, but not all Israelites are Jews.
8:21 We see that in the prophets, God promises that Judah will come back before Israel comes back. Believe it or not, that’s what it says. You see that in Isaiah. Then it will happen, on the day of the Lord, this will again be the second time, you notice, His hand and the remnant of His people, who will remain from Assyria, Egypt, Pathos, Cush, and it goes on and on, and from the islands of the seas, and He will lift up a standard for the nations, and will assemble the banished ones of Israel, and will gather the dispersed Judah, notice Judah, from the four corners of the earth. Judah returns to the Middle East long before Israel ends up there. Israel does not end up there until the millennium, by the way.
Israel, as I said in a former broadcast, is the name that Jacob was given by God, which is translated meaning struggled with God and prevailed. Israel had 12 sons, and each son became a nation. I have gone through this before. Reuben, for example, is France of today. Naphtali is Holland. Dan is Denmark. The United States is the lesser tribe, or the youngest tribe of Joseph, called Ephraim, which had become the 13th tribe. Greater Britain is Manasseh, the older of Joseph’s sons.
Another sign that you have to look for that the Bible clearly predicted in Daniel, even before Jesus, but Daniel was told that there would be four kingdoms on earth before Christ returned. He named the four kingdoms, and the fourth kingdom was specifically named the Roman Empire. Now, everyone knows, who went to school, that the Roman Empire kind of expired in what they think was around 5, 600, 700 AD. This is not true…this is just not the case. Revelation shows us that the Holy Roman Empire would keep reviving itself until the end time, and it would become, again, part of the King of the North. The King of the North, to help you understand, is a Hitler-type Antichrist, would become the most powerful block of nations in the world. Their main opposition would be a Muslim kingdom to the south, called the King of the South, and they would war back and forth. Those wars started with the Crusades, and most people don’t know that. So, there had to be a revival of the Roman Empire in order to see when the end time would come. That is happening, but it is not the case today.
11:21 Then you would hear wars and rumors of wars, Jesus pointed out in Matthew 24, and that is the end-time King of the North and the King of the South that I just mentioned who start fighting each other. That started with the Crusades, but again, in the Crusades, they could not destroy all of mankind.
The next and final sign that you have to look for is the emergence of an Antichrist. There’s not necessarily only one Antichrist talked about in the Bible, as John says there are many. In the end time there will become a final leader of the North, the King of the North, and he will be an Antichrist. He also will be the false prophet, which is based in Rome…and that’s all I will say here. He will deceive most of Christianity to believe that they are in fact, Jesus who has returned, and like I said, fool many. Remember that Christ warned to not be fooled by false religions.
Another sign...the temple has to be rebuilt. This is something that many of the churches today try to say is not going to happen, but if there’s not a temple, then Revelation 11 cannot happen…and Revelation 11 is not going to happen.
Another important scenario…there are going to be the Two Witnesses…and they are going to witness in Jerusalem, and they’re going to put an end to the beast rule. Remember, the beast that will rule is the King of the North, who’s going to come after them with a great vengeance, and Revelation 11 clearly shows that they will be at the temple of the Lord.
The temple that is talked about in the book of Ezekiel is the millennial temple that will be built before Christ returns. This temple will be the temple that Christ enters and rules from!
You see in Daniel 7-8, he’s saying to himself, while I was thinking about the horns there before me, there was another horn, a little one, which came up among them, and three of the first horns were uprooted before it. This horn had eyes like the eyes of a man and a mouth of a dragon, and he spoke boastfully. This 11th horn, obviously, is another king that comes out of the north of the ten kings mentioned that you find in both Daniel and Revelation. I’m not going to get into this here. I’m just quickly showing you all of the occurrences that must happen before Christ returns.
Another thing, after the temple is rebuilt, the Jewish nation and the Jews themselves will find protection from the King of the North. The Antichrist will protect them from the onslaught of a Muslim alliance, which is the King of the South. The Jews, according to Christ, will look at the Antichrist, the leader of Holy Roman Europe, as their Messiah. Jesus said very plainly that I come in My own name, and Me you do not accept as your Messiah, but another will come in His own name, and he you will accept.
So not only will there be a temple, not only will there be a return to sacrifices by the Jewish people, and then an end of the sacrifices, there will also come a time when the Jewish people actually look upon the Antichrist as their Messiah. Then there will be heavenly signs, there will be all kinds of stars, meteorite showers, and all kinds of celestial happenings and then the wars begin. We are talking about wars that are going to be a nuclear killing up to two-thirds of all mankind.
Then the pestilence begins after that, because after wartime people are starving, they’re dying of radiation poisoning, and pestilence takes over which will take a goo share of the people.
There are prophecies in the New Testament that predict only 10% of the world’s population will survive at the time of Christ’s return.
Quickly, I wanted to get clear to everyone who is thinking today, because the events happen in the Middle East, and I’m always telling you to look towards the Middle East as a gauge, because it will always be in your future, but we are not yet at the time of Christ’s return.
Do not be deceived and let anyone fool you that you are going to see Christ’s return at any moment. It’s just not going to happen. These things have to be fulfilled.

He does not make statements that He does not intend to follow and follow through on.
11:01 These signs that I just mentioned…the major sign that you need to look for among everything else is a temple being rebuilt and a unified Europe that becomes the world’s biggest power. The Bible is referencing a large power that supplants the United States of America. Nowhere in prophecy does it say that the United States of America will be around by the tribulation. The United States of America is Ephraim from scripture…which is part of Israel of your Bible. We are to be destroyed and sent back into captivity before the tribulation. So, the chances that the United States of America are a nation by the time of the tribulation, in my opinion, is probably not accurate. But there will be a United Holy Roman European King of the North and that will be the biggest power of the world. This is all we need to look out for. Then you look for the rebuilding of a temple, the starting of sacrifices, and the end of sacrifices, and then will come the Two Witnesses.
Finally, I want to talk more about the Two Witnesses. Some of what I want to share about them is not necessarily from the Bible but my own personal opinion.
The Two Witnesses, according to the Bible, will plague the entire world with their prophecies. They’re going to be like Moses and Aaron. They’re going to call every kind of calamity to befall the people of this earth because they do not follow the Lord. The Two Witnesses can call fire down from heaven. They can stop the rain for years at a time. They can cause droughts. They can cause all kinds of hardship. It says in Revelation 11 that finally the beast overtakes them, overpowers them, because God allows this, just before His return. They are killed in the streets of Jerusalem and their bodies lay dead, exposed to the whole world before Christ returns. The whole world will gaze at their bodies.
What does that also tell you?
13:21 It tells you that there is going to be a time, which we are in today, where you have worldwide visibility of dead bodies. That means television. That’s what it means, internet and television. People will see their dead bodies on the internet and on television. It also says they will celebrate the killing of the Two Witnesses by giving presents to one another. Read it for yourself, Revelation 11, it speaks of the people being so happy that the Two Witnesses, who caused so much ‘trouble’, were killed by the beast. The beast will be someone whom a lot of the world will believe is God. When do people give presents to each other? Not on birthdays, right? Because that is only gift giving to the person whose birthday it is. Gifts are exchanged at Christmas time…Satan’s holiday. Think about that for a minute. Like I said, this is my deduction from reading scripture, it is not in the Bible. That’s Bob Barney thinking this. It seems to me that the Two Witnesses die around Christmas time and people are so overjoyed that these two men who most are convinced are two beasts…and obviously are deceived about the Two Witnesses by the Devil…but they will rejoice in their deaths and give presents to one another.
I can see Fox News now saying, oh, it’s a Christmas miracle. These two monsters got killed by God for Christmas time. Only to see three and a half days later that they come back alive again on TV for the whole world to see! The Two will hear a voice that says, come up, and they in physical form will fly into the heavens to meet the returning Christ.
If that doesn’t shock a lot of the people in the world at that time, I don’t know what will!
Please do not listen to what I say or to what other people say. Read the Bible for yourself.
These things have to happen before Christ returns.
Remember, do not just let preachers tell you that He could return tonight while you’re having dinner, because He cannot. He will not. Why? Because He does what He says he’s going to do. He’s the same God that said, I change not, therefore you are not destroyed, Israel.
God doesn’t change.
We do, but God does not.
He keeps His word.

Hi, we’re back. Yes, Satan the Devil does exist. Satan’s demons do exist. Evil does abound and believe it or not, as we mentioned earlier in this broadcast, according to the Bible, the Devil, Satan the Devil, is the God of this world. You will believe this if you want to believe that what the Bible says is true…which it is.
19:45 God the Father and God Jesus Christ is not in charge of this present age right now. What we are waiting for is a time when there will not be Satan’s influence on any of the world. This is what Jesus Christ came for and died for and qualified for! To come back to this earth as King of kings, Lord of lords, and God of gods, to reign this earth under His laws, under His ways, and His commandments. This is when Satan will be bound for a thousand years, and those who are alive physically, will see a perfect life ahead of them with a King on this earth who is Jesus Christ! He will be with His ministers, and they are going to be those who are Christians…all Christians who have ever lived and died, or those alive at the time, will be changed, according to your Bible, will be changed into a spiritual being. You will become, if you’re a Christian, you will become the literal brother of Jesus Christ, and the son or daughter of God the Father.
You yourself will be a God.
22:23 You are not going to be limited to being some kind of an angelic being, like you watch in all these movies when Christ comes. No, the Bible is quite clear, that God made man in His own, or their own image, after their own likeness. We are made in the likeness, or in the image of God. When cows reproduce their image, their likeness is another cow, and they reproduce in the cow kind however when God was reproducing Himself, or really themselves, I should say, (God the Father and Jesus Christ), they said, let us, by the way that shows you there’s more than one of them, make man in our, the image of God, our likeness. And that is exactly the good news, that is happening here on earth, that we’re just unaware of. The reason we’re unaware of it, is our churches simply has not taught us the truth of what is the good news, that you can find in the pages of the Bible. If you took the Bible out, and you read it for a novel, you read it as a book, and you believed what the Word said on the page, and you did not have preconceived notions of what you think it’s going to say, then you would find that your whole concept of what you think is in the Bible, is simply not there.
In short, the devil has control of this earth today, and if you are not going to put yourself under the tutelage of Jesus Christ, and God the Father, you are not going to become a Christian, then you are bound and determined that you’re going to have to either pay the fiddler, and that may be eternal death, or have another chance as a physical human being during the millennium, or thereafter. But you will not be a Christian. People do not die and go to heaven because they’re a Christian, and they do not die and go to a hellfire if they are not a Christian, as churches teach. It’s just another biblical misconception. It’s just another lie propagated by ministers and theology in order to keep people in fear, and when you keep people in fear, you keep them trapped to your way of thinking, and that is not what we’re trying to do here with The Plain Truth today. We’re trying to show you the very good news of what your ultimate destiny is. If you would just accept Jesus Christ as God, as your Savior, and He died for your sins, and you would start to obey His words, if you just obeyed the words that are read in your Bible.
I always say this, I give a plug for The Plain Truth’s Original Order Bible. It’s the Bible in the original order as it was meant to be read, and all words of Christ are in red, and that includes the Old Testament, because yes, the God of the Old Testament, the God who created the heavens and the earth, the God who said, let us make man in our image, the God who talked to Adam and Eve, the God who was the God of Moses, the friend of Abraham, David’s Lord, was none other than the God, that being, that heavenly being, godly being, that became in the flesh Jesus Christ around the year 4 BC, or in that time frame, and then He was killed.
24:58 He took our sins upon Him, and when He died, He was really dead, and God the Father raised Him from the dead on the third day on a Saturday afternoon towards evening time, and by Sunday morning, He was already out of the tomb, if you read the Bible carefully, there is no Easter Sunday morning, and He became God again, sitting at the right hand of God the Father, and all authority has been given unto Jesus Christ. So, if you worship Christ, if you go to Christ and you say, you are my Savior, you are my Lord, you are my God, and you accept Him and the Father God who sent Him, then you will get something called the Holy Spirit, and that will indwell in you, and it will grow in you, and you will get more and more knowledge, and you will understand more and more as God wants you to. Then eventually, when you are born again, and that something is not a feeling that happens, it’s something that physically and spiritually happens upon your death, upon the death of your mortal body, when your mortal body, as 1 Corinthians 15 aptly says, must be put on immortality. And once your body has become immortal, in an immortal spirit, you are then therefore born again into the family of God, and you are now gods.
That is the good news of what the Bible is all about.
That is the news that most religions hide from you.
They hide from you because they do not want you to know the truth, because in my personal opinion, you can take this, or you can throw it away, but in my personal opinions, most of the churches, most of all the mainstream Christian churches today, are under the influence of Satan the devil, and the message that you get by going to those churches is the message of Satan and not God the Father. And that is why you read verses that probably confuse you in the New Testament, when Jesus says, in vain do they worship me, teaching the commandments and traditions of men rather than the commandments of God. Jesus said you can worship him in vain, and many people have a hard time accepting that. They say, well we loved you, we preach in your name, we heal people in your name, we praise Jesus, and we do all of this stuff, and we know you’re the Son of God, and according to what your Bible, that any Bible you want to open up, in Matthew, I believe it’s chapter 8, says, go away from me. I never knew who you were because you practice lawlessness. What is practice and lawlessness? Well, practice and lawlessness is very simple.
26:54 It’s refusing to follow the law of God, and most churches, believe it or not, probably the church that you go to every Sunday, really teaches, they may not tell you this, but they teach their clergy that Christ did away with the law. The law is no longer in force, you’re under grace, you have to not follow any law. I guess that means you can commit adultery, you can murder, you can steal, you can misuse the name of the Lord God in vain.Is that what it means, the law has been abolished? No, what they’re trying to say is, the law, the fourth commandment has been changed to Sunday, and that’s what they don’t want to tell you, but it’s never been changed to Sunday.
The honor of the Sabbath day is still the same day it was when God made it for Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve weren’t Jews, they’re the father of all living creatures, and they had the first Sabbath day, and the Sabbath day is in force, and if you want to prove that, you just go to Matthew, and when Jesus says, pray your flight is not on a winter day or on the Sabbath, why would Christ say right before he’s coming back, if the Sabbath was abolished, to pray that your flight would not occur on a Sabbath day? Think about that. That’s a red letter in your Bible; any red-letter Bible will have Jesus telling you in red letters to not believe what people tell you about himself. People will come in his name, proclaiming that he is the Christ, and deceive many. Have you been deceived? Well, most likely, if you go to mainstream Christianity, you certainly have been deceived, and the mission of the plain truth is to give you today’s news in the light of biblical prophecy, what God has to say about it, what it means for you in your life, and to continue. I’m about out of time.
