Happy New Year. Yes, believe it or not, I’m not nuts.
Today is the new year according to God.
Hi, this is Bob Barney with the Plain Truth Today, and I want to go over a topic that we cover all the time on The Plain Truth that God has a calendar and actually we should be following God’s calendar. We should be following God’s holy days, and we should not follow after pagan calendars and pagan holy days which the entire world basically does today.
I will give you an example the Jewish calendar…what we follow orwhat people follow today has nothing to do with the Bible is not the calendar of the Bible Messianic Jews or Christians who follow the Sabbath day who follow the Jewish calendar are Following a Babylon pagan calendar the months for pity’s sake are named after pagan gods like Tamas look it up for yourself the calendar that you find in the Bible is very simple and Tonight matter of fact all this week. Let me back up all this week. We’ve had shows about the calendar and the day and when the day begins the day begins in the morning like you realize just as Looking at it as just a normal everyday person When does your day start your day starts when you wake up? Hopefully around sunrise if you have a job that you got to go to Nowadays in America, I’m not sure that’s the case but you wake up around sunrise and that is the beginning of your new day.
(1:45) Well, guess what? That’s the beginning of God’s new day as well And this idea of starting a day at midnight the Roman calendar that starts a day at midnight It’s ridiculous the Jewish starting the day at evening in as night is going to come You can just prove that in the Bible We had a series of shows posted this week and the ones that playing every morning this week from Monday to Friday We had the one does the day begin part 1 2 3 4 and 5 It’s an excellent study going through all the scripture proving that the day is always beginning in the morning You can prove that right from Genesis and we’ve done that forever Tonight for example We’re going to have a show that shows you what the Egyptian calendar was and you may say to yourself Why do we need to know about the Egyptian calendar? Well do not forget Moses was schooled in everything about Egypt. He was raised to be a Pharaoh of Egypt He although he was born a Levite Hebrew he was raised by the prince princess the daughter of Pharaoh and so he had all the education of The Egyptians that’s not saying that that meant and it means anything to God because did the Egyptians were a pagan culture itself And Mo Moses lived a pagan life for a long time however, the Egyptians had a unique way of finding the true calendar and That is what the study that you’re going to hear today tonight at 7 11 p.m. On the Plain Truth Today is how did they have a perfect? 365-day calendar and they did, and they did so long before Moses ever was born and so Moses grew up in a world of knowing perfect calendars Remember God is perfection Everything God creates is perfect. It’s not 13 months one year 12 months another year 28 day months 29 day months 30 day months 31 day months Just it’s that this is not God.
(3:53) God is the ultimate Scientist God is the ultimate mathematician. The Sun has a perfect rotation and the earth rotates around the Sun perfectly and it I believe before the flood was a 360 day rotation and not at 365 and the Egyptians solved that they solved the they took the original calendar of God and they adapted that 365 solar year day, but they did so because what you’ll see tonight they did so for their own reasons of agriculture and so they started their month their new year was in June and Because that is one the crops had to be planted and you’ll see that but God’s new year starts like again We talked about the morning. When do you think a new year begins in wild in the nature? When animals are born the springtime the equinox March 20th.
(4:57) That’s today. Today is the first day of spring and it’s also the first day of God’s new year. You can prove the calendar that I have been talking about now for the last 20 years. I first discovered that the Hebrew calendar was pagan and wrong about 35 years ago. Studying in West Palm Beach, Florida I came across one book by Roland Deval who is an expert on ancient Israel who absolutely Proved to me and then I did more research afterwards, but proved to me about the calendar So I want to get into one thing here about let’s see How many months are in a year now those that are listening to me today? Think well, we know there’s 12 months but believe it or not the Hebrew calendar the guy the calendar that that Jews and many Sabbath day Christians want you to believe came from God Some years have 12 months some year has 13 months because they’re following a moon lunar calendar that is only 354 days long a year. That’s the truth.
(6:12) So what happens every three years you have to throw in a 13th month and You can prove there is no 13th month ever in the Bible And I’ll show you a couple places and then I’ll be the show for today but I do want you to listen to the Egyptian calendar tonight because all of the facts that the Egyptians Realized to be the true perfect calendar of their God, which is still they didn’t realize it But God of God is God of the Bible had to have 365 days a year and they solved that by having 12 30 day months But at the end of the year having five days that you did not count in any month We just came through the last five days Ending yesterday was five days. Not part of the 12th month and if you watch that program tonight, it’s only I believe 12 or 15 minutes. It’s very short. If you watch that program tonight, you will come away realizing Everything I’m going to talk about today applies to God Moses and his calendar Solomon and his calendar Jesus and his calendar and the calendar of God and you will see that but first of all I want to show you about 12 months in a year. So, If you go to 1 Kings 4 Verse 7 It says Solomon had 12 governors over all of Israel who would provide food for the king and his household one for each Month of the year. Why didn’t he have 13 governors if every three years you have 13 months.
(8:04) Why would you not anticipate when you were planning the Calendar for yourself that you would only have 12 because obviously you only knew of 12 30-day months Now if you go and I remember 45 years ago listed in the Garner Ted Armstrong who follows a lunar calendar a Hebrew Jewish calendar total pagan calendar, but I remember him explaining the two witnesses prophecy in Revelation chapter 11 and saying, you know, I don’t know why but God’s Prophetic year is only 12 months of 30-day months 360 days you long So whenever you’re looking at prophecy like in Revelation chapter 11 of the two witnesses You’re going to see that God does not have 30 and 31 days in prophetic years And I thought to myself even then well, maybe he doesn’t have what’s the difference between a prophetic year and a real year, but you go to the two witnesses and he says And I will give power to my two witnesses and they will prophesy 1260 days Clothed in sackcloth. These are my two divine and he goes on to explain the two witnesses Then he goes on they will prophesy for 42 months and that will be three and a half years and that’s very important because 1260 days is 42 months of 12 30-day months to a year and that adds up to exactly three and a half years 12 1260 divided by 42 months comes to three and a half years Exactly 30 day years. I mean 30 day months and 12 months to a year and If you put the math to that you can see there is no other they go three and a half years because in Three and a half years there should be a 13th month But there is not because God never had and even Garner Ted Armstrong admitted that but we’re going to blow away the whole notion About how many days in a month? Because if you were to follow the Jewish calendar, for example from month two to month seven Some months would have 29 days and some months would have 30 days, but let’s listen to what the Bible says in back in Genesis during the great flood to be a Genesis chapter 7 we come to the beginning of the ark being flooded and going Into the ocean or being swallowed up by the sea and floating and let’s listen to this story and let’s count the days.
(10:46) So verse 11 7 11 like my 7-eleven shows in the 600th year of Noah’s life in The second month on the 17th day of the month All the foundations of the deep were broken up and the windows of heaven were opened now think a minute here Remember the second month the 17th day of the month Okay, think of 12 30 day months when we go through this on the very same day Noah Noah’s sons and it goes on they tell the whole thing and the Lord shut him in now we go over to I Believe we start around verse 24 7 24 and it says and the waters prevailed on the earth 150 days Then God chapter 8 then God remembered Noah and every living thing and all the animals that were With him on the ark and the and God made wind pass over the earth and the waters subsided the fountain fountains of the deep and The windows of heaven were now stopped and the rain from heaven restrained and the waters receded continually on earth at the end of the 150 days the waters decreased then the ark rested in the seventh month on the 17th day of the month I’m on the mountains of Ararat Take a minute five months of 30 day months is a hundred and fifty days They get on the ark and the flood begins on the 17th day of the second month and on the 17th day of the seventh month is a hundred and fifty days twelve thirty day months not Some twenty nine day months not some thirty day months twelve thirty day months the Bible proves Just go to the Bible for what you need to learn about what God wants you to know and if it’s not there then It’s not important for you to know but it is it is impossible to follow the modern Jewish calendar and believe that is the calendar of The Bible of their Bible by the way to because they have in their Torah Genesis just what I read their calendar is not The God-inspired calendar of the Bible and many Jewish rabbis throughout the centuries have written to the fact that the that the Jewish calendar is a product of their Babylonian captivity Long after the nation of Israel disappeared to the north of them and they were just the nation of Judah by the way You know all Jews may be Israelites, but not all Israelites are Jews There are ten missing tribes that the Bible talks about and they are the tribes that make up Denmark France England Ireland Scotland and the United States of America Australia New Zealand These are lost tribes of the kingdom of Israel that you’re never proud about but that’s what the Bible claims There are ten lost tribes and the name Israel Belongs to whatever tribe Joseph.
(14:23) That’s Ephraim and Manasseh the Joseph’s sons Go wherever Manasseh goes wherever Ephraim goes the name Israel goes with them the United States of America is Ephraim England and Great Britain is Manasseh. They own the title of Israel not the Jews just a side point, but as you can see reading in both Revelation of 42 months equal in twelve hundred and sixty days or three and a half years every Bible commentary will admit that and then you go back to Noah’s calendar of 150 days Excuse me being five months of 30 day months. You can only come to the conclusion which I came to Basically 30 years ago and and started putting into practice probably about the same time Maybe a little later when I realized that the calendar that I had been following for quite a long time Was actually one of pagan sources and I’ll tell you right now God forgives you for For doing what you do not know But once you know it then God does not forgive you for refusing out of your arrogance out of your Wanting to keep tradition alive over God’s laws. God does not Look over that if you’re listening to my voice Unfortunately, it’s maybe a curse for you And that is because you are being told the plain truth about when the day begins When the calendar is when Passover happens and the days you’re supposed to follow which are not Christmas which are not Easter which is not Halloween or all Saints Day or Sunday for that matter you’re supposed to follow what the Bible tells you to follow and you can prove it if you read the Bible for yourself and You stop listening to Pagan man tell you how to worship the God Saturday what we call Saturday is the Sabbath of God It begins on the dawn of what we call Saturday morning until the dawn of what we call Sunday morning The first day of the week the first day of the week is Monday the second which is named after the moon the goddess moon day The first day of the work is Sunday, I’m sorry The God of the Sun Monday is the moon God Tuesdays twos. That’s a Nordic God every day that we have to this day modern Computer space-age man who goes to the moon? It’s going to go to Mars maybe, but we still follow days. We call the days after pagan goddesses and gods to this day our months are pagan named months We think we’re modern.
(17:21) We don’t think we’re like the ancients. We don’t think we’re barbarians but we follow their holidays, and we follow their months and we follow their days of the week.
Do you know what the name for Sunday is in the Bible the first day of the week? Then comes the second day of the week then comes the third day of the week then comes the fourth fifth and sixth days of the week and Then comes the seventh day Called the Sabbath the only day in God’s calendar That has a name Means rest Sabbath just in is a good name for Resting we are to rest six And we were to work for six days and rest on the seventh day of the week And that is the only day of the week that God has a name for and it’s called the Sabbath day And he commands the world to follow it Adam and Eve was commanded to follow the Sabbath day They are not Jews. They are the they are the parents of every race that’s on the earth today They all come from Adam and Eve Everybody that comes from Adam and Eve Must follow the Sabbath day That is what the Bible tells you Then when you go on to the other things of the Bible that it tells you to do there are ten commandments given to Moses God says by the way, and you can read this in the New Testament That God is going to write his laws the Ten Commandments on our hearts and in our minds at the Resurrection when we have a new millennium and a new order and a new covenant It will no longer be a covenant written on stone But the law which most modern Christians are taught has been done away with The law is going to be written on our very hearts and in our being and in our minds It’s not going to be on stone It’s going to be within us that we will not even be able to not follow the law because it’s a part of us as Much as our heart beating and our lungs breathing air That is the plan that God has for your future and my future to follow his law for his law is perfect like his calendar is perfect His daytime is perfect when the seasons begin are perfect God creates not in confusion, but in perfection That is why we know for example the beginning of the Bible does not start with Genesis 1 Genesis 1 is the beginning of the new earth Recreated after on earth before was destroyed you improve that in John 1 in the New Testament is Actually the very first part of the Bible if you were to buy the plain truths Bible that we have out there on Amazon You will see that I put the first chapter of John before Genesis because you cannot Understand the in Old Testament of the Bible if you do not read one John I’m sorry John the chapter 1 first in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God all things were made by him the Word and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us and that word is Jesus Christ So in the beginning was Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ was with God the Father and Jesus Christ was God all Things that were made were made by Jesus Christ not God the Father and So when we go back to Genesis 1 and it says in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth the word that is translated beginning Should have been translated became and you look up that word in a concordance The Hebrew word and look at the different renditions of that word and you will see most often it is rendered became and so the Word of Genesis 1 should read in the beginning God created the I’m sorry in the beginning God recreated the heaven and the earth and the earth became formless and void became not was formless and void and Darkness was on the spirit of the deep and the Spirit of God.
(21:52) That’s Jesus Christ’s spirit Was hovering over the face of the waters then God said and this is God is Elohim It is a unipolar word in Hebrew, which means more than one. You may be a part of your family name is your name is Smith That is a family name. It’s a unipolar name. There may be many Smiths but made up of Individual Smith’s in the so God said let there be light it was Jesus Christ. He was the part of the Godhead There’s two members of the Godhead right now the Father in Jesus and they are comprised of the Holy Spirit there’s no Trinity in the Bible and We are male and female comprised of blood to us is what the Holy Spirit is to God when we are resurrected from the dead that is when we are born again into the kingdom of God during the before the Millennium and we’re our flesh and blood will be transformed into Holy Spirit and we will become God God’s children That is what the Bible promises us not some angelic being like, you know Highway to heaven on TV that you come back as a human being and you help people No, you’re going to become God’s children God’s children become God is that not just make sense and God saw the light was good and God divided the light from the darkness and the light he called day in the darkness He called night showing you the day begins in the morning not in the evening and not at midnight That is the plain truth about the Bible and what the Bible says we should be doing What we should be following what days are important to God that should be important to us what the day should be called and what the months Should not be called and the calendar we should follow in the holy days. We should follow now in 14 days from today Becomes at evening of the 14th day Becomes the Passover which symbolizes Christ suffering and dying for us and Then after the Passover the next day the 15th day the month becomes the Feast of Unleavened Bread for seven days we are not to have any leavening any yeast in our home and in our bread and then after that the eighth day or the day after the week of Unleavened bread becomes what is called the first waving or the first fruits of This symbolic time that you start counting 50 days to Pentecost and it’s in my opinion I cannot prove this but the sixth I’m sorry the eighth day of Passover week Which is really the day after the seven-day festival of unleavened bread becomes a festival called first fruits or the? Waving of the sheath as it’s mentioned in Leviticus that you start counting off the 50 days to Pentecost and that occurs on the 8th I’m sorry on the 8th day or the 22nd of the month The 22nd of the first month begins a holiday called first fruits and I cannot prove this Honestly, I cannot prove this but I believe you can Associate that this 8th day festivals first fruits That’s Christ. Christ is the first fruits of those born from the dead Believe it or not.
(25:29) Jesus Christ was the first person to be born again it was born again only means you’re going from mortal to immortal from blood and skin to spirit Holy Spirit and when you look at what Happened the day he was resurrected three days after he was killed He told Mary not to cling on to him before he had not yet Ascended unto the Father Then a week later eight days later He allows all the disciples to maul him paw him to prove that it’s him in the upper room That evening of the first day of the week, by the way evening Monday Sunday night Evening after the sunset was still Sunday night according to the book of John but anyway he let everybody maul him and touch him and see his wounds because that is that was the day of First fruits of counting the Omer or counting the 50 days to Pentecost. That holiday when you read first fruits in the Bible that holiday represents the day Christ ascended to the Father in heaven and Was made King of Kings Lord of Lords and came back to see the disciples to explain everything to them Well, anyway, I thought I should say Happy New Year And if this is the day you should celebrate as New Year not in the middle of some winter month That you want to call New Year on January 1st doesn’t even make sense to me It don’t doesn’t make sense to God and it shouldn’t make sense to you But we have some good programming this week a little different than normal because it seems more You know more religious this week than the show usually is about but you know, the news is about God as He is the greatest newscaster the greatest news maker. God is news and the future your future all the news of your future that’s going to be important to you is What God has already laid out in front of you in the what you call his Bible Read the Bible learn what happened in the past learn what the plain truth is and learn what your future Holds because future headlines the future news has already been written This is Bob Barney for the plain truth today saying Happy New Year.
