Well, welcome back, and we wanted to talk today about Syria and the overthrow of Assad in Syria. I am just amazed with the reporting so far of what I’ve seen about how people think this is a great thing.
4:00 Whenever Muslim extremists take over a dictatorship in the Middle East, it’s never a good thing from the history that I’ve learned. We had the Shah of Iran, who was an ally of the United States. The country was a very progressive Western country with everybody wearing suits and ties, and women were dressed like modern women of the Western world when the Shah was there. Then when Ayatollah Khomeini took over in 1979, we see Iran set back about 400 to 600 years into the Middle Ages, where women are just absolutely mistreated, people are mistreated, and you have a country that sponsors terrorism around the world. Mainly that is so with the money that comes from the United States government in the disguise of Obama and Joe Biden, especially, that has propped up these terrible theocracies that have taken away the freedom of the Iranians, as well as killed many people, including many Americans in the Middle East.
You also had the idea when Saddam Hussein was overthrown which we were behind by the way…the Bush administration was behind that, and Saddam was captured, and he was later executed. What happened to the Iraqi government after the loss of Saddam Hussein was very bad for, for example, Jews and Christians living in Iraq.
Many people did not know this, but Iraq, under Saddam Hussein, protected both Jewish congregations, which had been there for some 2,000 years or more. There were Christian communities that lived peacefully in Iraq, protected by Saddam Hussein. I bet you didn’t know that. I bet many people didn’t know that.
6:21 Benny Soder, do you remember his spokesman, Benny Soder, he had that little mustache? He was a Christian. He was the second most powerful man in Saddam Hussein’s Iraqi government, and he was a Christian. The Christian people were protected.
After Hussein was ousted in what we call a democratic overthrow of his regime, it’s almost a joke to say this, by the Iraqi people, it turned into a death squad. Why? Because this was where Jews are killed, Christians are killed and tortured and discriminated against in that country. Then you go to Libya, for example, we had Muammar Gaddafi, and everybody knows that Muammar Gaddafi was a terrorist, and that he helped terrorism all around the world.
7:23 The Pan Am flight, I forgot when it was, some 25, 30 years ago now, when Ronald Reagan was president, that was shot down Christmas Eve, or right before Christmastime, and many people from being bombed over in Lockerbie, Scotland that was, and many people on the plane died, and I think people on the ground even died, and it was a big tragedy. Ronald Reagan actually targeted Gaddafi and his family…actually bombed his home, killed one of his wives and many of his children. Gaddafi kind of went underground after that and dressed like women and stuff like that, but he was eventually overthrown during the Obama years in the famous Benghazi episode, which was just Hillary Clinton getting rid of American diplomats. Hillary thought they were a problem to her regime, because I do believe that was a set up murder on the part of the Obama administration carried out in Benghazi against Ambassador Stevens and the men that were trying to save his life. Which of course, they could not do.
Then what’s happened to Libya, again, Libya deteriorated into trading arms all over the Middle East that they were given by Americans at one time to fight against Gaddafi. Those arms ended up killing people in Israel, killing people all over the Middle East, with our handprints and fingerprints all over the catastrophe of Libya, of Iraq, of Afghanistan even, and of now Syria.
9:25 I do not predict very good things going to be happening in Syria under the new people that have taken over. I don’t know what faction or what factions are taking over. I just know that it just seems that to the Middle East Muslim mind, we are far safer, believe it or not, we are far safer when there is a brutal dictator over those people, making those people conform in ways that they think will keep them in power. Most of the time, that means keeping them from doing too much harm to the Western world. They may prick us here and there, but they are not going to be sending nuclear bombs to Israel, for example. They’re not going to be wiping out Christians in their own country, like what is going on today. They’re not going to be targeting Jews that live in their countries.
This is what happened under the Shah of Iran.
This is what happened under Gaddafi.
This is what happened under Saddam Hussein.
11: 44 He protected the people that today are not protected. We’re seeing this over and over and over again, that the American people and the American government keeps getting fooled about the idea we can have a democracy in the Middle East other than Israel, because the Muslim mind, the fundamentalist Muslim minds that basically dominate these theocracies like Iraq, Iran, and all of these other places, now I believe Syria, these theocracies do not accept democracy. They do not accept rights for women or equal rights for women. They do not accept anything that the normal modern world considers normal. And that’s the plain truth.
This is the problem. These people do not want our democracy. I had a friend who works for me today who was a construction person and took a job over in Afghanistan about 10 years ago or 15 years ago now. He was building schools, he was building town halls, and he was building all kinds of buildings for the people there. When he would be talking to some of the tribal leaders or tribal people, because Afghanistan is just a bunch of tribes, it’s not a country. There are no real unifying people of Afghanistan. It’s a bunch of tribes. Think of the American Indians in the 1850s and 60s and 70s. They were the Sioux Nation, the Cheyenne Nation, the Arapaho, the Apache, the Comanche. They were not one people. They were a bunch of tribes with different chiefs and chieftains over top of them. And so anyway, when they were talking to Rich, one of them said, you know, we do appreciate your money and we do appreciate you trying to build schools and helping us build new buildings.
Honestly, we do not want you here.
We don’t want your form of government.
13: 23 We don’t want your form of democracy or however you want to call it. We don’t want your Western values and we don’t want your butts in our nation. We find you offensive. Even though you’re trying to do well, and I admit you’re trying to do well by your own standards, we do not want you. Rich told me that was the problem that he saw with us trying to do anything in Afghanistan. The people, the majority of the people wanted to be under Taliban rule. They wanted to be under dictatorships. They wanted to be following what they see is their religion. And their religion is not based on any type of freedom or democracy or free thinking or anything of the sort. Their religion stones people who think that way or hangs them or cuts off their arms or whatever they do in retaliation. That is what he saw. And he became very disgusted with our involvement in Afghanistan, realizing we were spending billions, probably a trillion dollars, trying to rebuild a country that absolutely did not want us there. You know, that’s a country the Romans first invaded and lost. Alexander invaded and lost. England invaded and lost. The Russians invaded and lost.
We invaded and basically lost. And we ran out of there under the Biden administration in such a horrible way. It caused the deaths of many, many Afghanis and Americans. And we just don’t seem to learn our lesson. We don’t learn our lesson at all. And going back now to the idea of what’s going on in Syria leads me to think that we are going to be in the same boat as we were in these other countries after all the fighting settles down and the people who take over are going to hate America. They’re going to hate Israel. They’re going to hate Western culture and are going to be very pro-terrorism. Mark my words. What bothers me about this Syria thing is I looked around a lot this morning trying to find something about Syria and yesterday afternoon as well. And there’s very little coverage. I mean, you go to Fox News, you go to CNN, you go to TV and there’s very, very little coverage at all. Most of the coverage that I see is a bunch of pundits that absolutely don’t know what’s going on in the world. It was ridiculous to listen to them. But then you go to the internet, and you try to find some stories.
I found some stories in Daily Mail and Breitbart and stuff like that and NBC about what happened. But for the most part, the world is going on and does not realize that when something happens in the Middle East and again, going back to that story I wrote many years ago, why the Middle East will always be in your future.
We should stop and pay attention because there is a God.
15:55 It’s the God of our Bible, the Bible that you probably have in your home. And that God is made up of two distinct beings. One is called God the Father and the other is called Jesus Christ or God the Word, the Yahweh or the Jehovah of the Old Testament, the God who created the world, the God who created Adam and Eve and the God who talked to Moses and wrote the Ten Commandments with his own finger. David’s Lord was none other than the God who became as a human Jesus Christ. And so whenever you see anything going on in the Middle East, we should stop, pay attention and realize God has predicted that the Middle East will always be a sore place on the face of the earth until his return. And so I am kind of amazed that this is going on. I think most people think it’s great. We got rid of this brutal dictator, not knowing that sometimes brutal dictators are better than what we call democracy. You know, I always say, you know, democracy, I’ll give a different example than before. Democracy is five people around a table. One of the persons is not liked by the other four, so they vote to execute the man. Of course, he votes against it, but four against one. Democracy is you kill an innocent man and you justify it because you voted on it. Well, that’s democracy in the Middle East. The NBC News report says the Assad’s family’s decades-long reign in Syria came to an abrupt end.
17:33 I heard from other sources, just as a side note, that he fled the country, went to Russia, I believe, and did not even tell his cabinet he was leaving. Came to an abrupt end Sunday when rebel forces captured Damascus after a stunning lightning strike rout across the country. Ahsan Abdul Ghani, a senior commander of the military group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, it’s like a sham, claiming victory for the rebel forces that had stormed across Syria in a matter of just days. Thus, entering into Damascus overnight. That was Saturday night. We declare the city of Damascus free from the tyrant Bashar al-Assad, he said in a post on WhatsApp. You notice they don’t want Western society, but they sure use WhatsApp and Facebook and Instagrams, things like that. To displaced people around the world, free Syria awaits you.
Videos circulating on social media and verified by NBC News appeared to show the Syrians celebrating across Damascus overnight and into the daytime as crowds honked their horns, waved their flags, fired their guns, if there’s not a message there about why would you be firing your guns if you think you’re going to have some peace, into the air, while others posed for selfies standing on top of tanks. Photos and video showed people toppling statues of Assad and his father, the former Bashar Assad, in the cities across Syria, including Assad’s stronghold of Latakia. Assad fled the country and relinquished the presidency. It was confirmed by Russia, which has supported his regime in the past, when a vicious civil war began about 15 years ago, to be honest. This civil war, this fight to stay in power in Syria, has lasted a long time. As a result, in negotiations between Assad and a number of participants in the armed conflict on the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic, he decided to leave the presidential post and left the country, given instructions to transfer power peacefully, according to Russian foreign ministry statement. Russian state media reported Sunday that Assad flew to Moscow.
That’s what I was told in another report, that he is in Moscow and Russia has given him protection. Syria’s Prime Minister Ghazi al-Juhayi remained in his home and said in an earlier statement, it does not intend to leave except in a peaceful manner that ensures a continued function of public institutions, state facilities, promoting security and reassurance for fellow citizens.
19:45 He said the government is ready to cooperate with any leadership chosen by the people. The general command also noted that freed people being held in prisons would be released. We announced to the Syrian people, they go on, this is the rebels, the news of liberation of our captives and the breaking of their chains, proclaiming the end of the era of oppression. Syrian state radio, Sham FM, I just love that, reported that Damascus International Airport had been evacuated, all employees removed, and all flights suspended. It was not clear yesterday, Sunday, who was in charge of the airport. President Joe Biden was monitoring the situation, didn’t have any other comment, but in this statement, he did give, Donald Trump, President-elect said, we have nothing to do with what is going on in Syria. This is not our fight. Let it play out on its own. Well, hopefully that can happen, but I am afraid that this is going to go elsewhere. The Israeli Defense Forces said in a post on X, it deployed troops to the buffer zone between Israel and Syria, as well as other places. Syria is directly on the border of Israel, just like Lebanon is. Syria is a very important border state with the state of Israel. The Jewish state should be called the Judah, as we mentioned, but it’s called Israel. We emphasize that the IDF is not interfering with any internal events going on in Syria, which is right, because if Israel was to get involved on any side, it would just cause Muslims to react bad, even if Israel was trying to do good. Damascus fell not long after the rebels on Friday besieged the Syrian city of Homs with a rapid assault on the government forces that left three of the country’s five largest cities in their hands and nothing to stop them from taking over the capital of Damascus.
The rebels claimed Saturday had captured a city, or the city, Damascus, one day after they had seized the city of Daraa.
22:10 The United States, which has about 900 American troops in northern Syria, that’s going to be an interesting thing, has been closely monitoring developments in the country. In less than two weeks, the HTS, I guess that’s the name of the rebels, were also able to capture the city of Aleppo, that’s where Christians first met, and you see in Syria in the Bible, in the New Testament, as well as the central city of Hama, where the government forces were forced out on Thursday.
The attack on Aleppo was the first opposition assault on that city since 2016, when a brutal air campaign by the Russian warplanes helped Assad retake control of the city. The sudden takeover of the capital by the HTS militants was seen as a blow to the outside forces that have been enabling Assad to cling to power for more than 24 years. Russia, Iran, and Iranian-backed Hezbollah supported Assad. This is why a lot of the pundits were talking about this on Sunday, about how they think this is going to be good because the people who supported Assad are our biggest enemies.
Well, Russia, for one, is not our biggest enemy, number one.
Iran is number two.
Hezbollah is number three.
24:01 Just because they supported Assad does not mean they’re not going to have influence on the people in the so-called democracy that’s going to be formed. The rapid advance by HTS comes as the Middle East is awash in fighting, with US-backed Israel trying to root out Hamas in Gaza and maintain a fragile ceasefire with Hezbollah in Lebanon. Both Hamas and Hezbollah are Iranian allies as well. Meanwhile, pro-Assad soldiers were battling Kurdish forces that seized the government positions in eastern Syria near the towns of Raqqa. The HTS grew out of the former Al-Qaeda affiliate and is designated as a terrorist organization by the United States and the United Nations. It is one of several competing forces in Syria fighting to bring down the government for the last 14 years, and it has killed hundreds of thousands of Syrians in their fight. Many have gone to Europe where the sudden influx of Syrian refugees has fueled a resurgence of anti-immigrant far-right movements from Portugal to Poland. The recent battlefield successions of the HTS are the culmination of four years of trying to turn the rebel forces into a force capable of challenging Assad’s armies. The expansion of units along with the large-scale indigenous rockets and missile production has created a force that Assad’s regime has seriously struggled to defend against.
25:01 United States right now waiting for an order from Iran or Hamas or Hezbollah, you name it, to attack American people in American cities and American businesses or maybe even nuclear power plants, bridges, tunnels, dams, etc., our power grid even. When they get that message to go, we may find ourselves in an awful battle here on American soil because of the inept Biden administration, which let some 10, 15, 20 million illegals across the Mexican border, and who knows who all of them are. We know that many were terrorists. They say over 300, probably it’s more like 3,000 Arab terrorists have come over that border and are hiding out across the United States in sleeper cells, and they are just waiting orders from whoever the big daddies are back in the Middle East to do something to harm the American public, the American way of life, you and me.
In summary, that’s where we are as of this date, and this program probably can be repeated in three months, and I probably can repeat it, in the best of Bob, in about six months to a year and two years and three years, and this is what I think we’re going to find out when we repeat this show, and we’re going to say this was breaking news, and by gosh, Bob was right, and that is this is not going to turn out good for the Syrian people, for the Israeli people who are really the people of Judah, or for the American or for the West.
26:35 It probably is going to be good for Russia and China when all else is done because they will get on the right side with their money and their weapons that these people are going to need, and they will do the bidding of China, of Russia, of Iran, and other terrorist states.
So don’t be surprised if all of this hoopla about democracy maybe coming to Syria is going to turn out to be anything but.

God knows the future.
28:00 You know, the future is just yesterday’s news for God. God already knows what’s going to happen. God knows what’s going to happen in the world, and he’s told you what’s going to happen in the words of the Bible. When you read the prophecies of the Old Testament and the New Testament, you know what’s going to happen.
You know eventually there’s going to be a unified Europe, a new Holy Roman Empire, which will be seated in Rome, and the Antichrist is going to come out of that empire. In the south, below them, is going to be a united Islam, a United States of Islam from all the way from West Africa, all the way across the continent to Afghanistan. That’s going to be under another dictator called the King of the South. Then we’re going to see the absolute destruction of the earth happen in what’s called the Great Tribulation. I don’t believe that’s soon to happen.
I do not, and I’m not one of these, you know, doomsdayers that say it’s going to happen overnight, can happen tomorrow.
There are many things, my friends, that have to happen before we can see Christ return.
One of those things that have to happen is the destruction of the United States of America.
I kind of think we’re going to have a good four years run of a good economy and definitely good leadership in America and going back to God in America for at least four to six years. I think America’s got some time. The world has some time, in my humble opinion. I also think you’ve got to see a new temple being built in Jerusalem for the Jewish people, the temple that Christ is going to come back to and rule from. That has in no way begun in any manner yet. There are, you know, the temple faithful mount that every year tries to lay a cornerstone for the new temple, but they’re always stopped by Israelis themselves. The new temple of Ezekiel’s temple, the temple that is talked about in the Book of Revelation, has yet to be built. Like I said, we need an Antichrist, a King of the North, a King of the South. We need a situation that we are not yet in today.
AND WE NEED TO BE PREPARED.
We need to know that God’s Word is true and understand that He is the best newscaster you’re ever going to listen to. He is telling you tomorrow’s headlines today in the words of the Bible.
