The Plain Truth is so Happy That You Have Been Enjoying Bob’s Broadcasts.
2000 years ago, a newscaster that we know of as Jesus Christ warned us about false Christianity. The warning was not against the devil but against false Christianity…about people who come in His name and deceive many.

Are we losing the war with Iran? It appears so.
Hello, Bob Barney with The Plain Truth today, brought to you by theplaintruth.com, and we’re doing another update, day two, I guess. I didn’t plan on it, but a lot happened yesterday. I’ll tell you right now, if you do not believe that Donald Trump and company and family and friends are not making money off of inside information about controlling, manipulating stock market, manipulating the oil market, manipulating the gold and silver market, the information that Donald Trump knows he’s going to release on social media, his own that he owns, which should be illegal, by the way, that he, the only way the president of the United States can be heard by its people is through a truth Facebook type website that he owns.
That’s not a conflict of interest. Well, I also think it’s a conflict of interest that one minute youmake a statement that we’re going to blow the bejesus out of Iran’s, I’m sorry, electrical power grid, and then watch the stock market go down, watch gold lose $475 an ounce, watch oil go to $112 a barrel, and in one hour you make a statement that we’ve made an agreement with Iran, everything’s going to be good probably, I’m going to withhold bombing anything for five days, and instantly record, if you watch CNBC this morning, it was a record that oil dropped $12 in one hour, gold rebounded $250 in one hour, and $400 by the day, that it only is down now $108 for the whole day, silver actually went down a lot, now it’s actually in the red, and that information in the hands of people who were investing to sell oil short, to sell stock short, and gold and silver short, and then when they sold it, bought it at the low price, the announcement comes up, everything goes the other way, and you make a fortune in one hour. And if you don’t think that’s going on, then you obviously never thought that Hunter Biden was a crook for the Biden family, and that he was going around the world making money for the Bidens, because that’s what he was doing, and I remember when mega people had a problem with it.
I remember when mega people wanted to see those people put in jail for being so corrupt, and if you don’t think this is corruption, I don’t know what is corruption. But why is he doing this for other reasons as well? Well, we also can see, and I’m going to play a little clip here, I think it’s kind of funny, the blame game starting, because I think Donald Trump honestly thought this was going to be a week’s war, and he found out that Iran is stronger than we thought they were, number one, and something that, you know, I talked to my brother on the weekends, that we’ve talked about for many years, and this is going to just tick the heck out of so many of my listeners right now. Our military is a paper tiger.
Oh, yeah, we can bomb people, we can do all kinds of things, but that’s not what wins wars, my friends. Boots on the ground wins war, soldiers win wars, smart generals win war. We haven’t fought a true enemy, not a true enemy, since Germany and Japan.
And we have this ego that we have the greatest military in the world, and it’s never really been tested. I told you when we so-called annihilated the nuke facilities, we did not. I also said if we do not kill the snake, they win, they come back to do us harm.
And it looks to me like we are looking for an out with no win, and actually everyone loses, including people’s lives. And this was the most ill-prepared attack plan that a seven-year-oldwould have thought more of it. But let’s listen to a little bit of the blame game here.
And in a way that we had not previously seen. So let’s play that. This interesting thing he had to say about Pete Hegseth up there in Memphis today.
A country known as Iran that for 47 years has been just a purveyor of terror, and they’re very close to having a nuclear weapon. We can keep going and get that 50,000 up to 55 and 60. Talking about the Dow here, by the way.
Or we can take a stop and make a little journey into the Middle East and eliminate a big problem. And Pete, I think you were the first one to speak up. And you said, let’s do it.
How do you think Pete Hegseth felt about getting the little name check there? Because that’s exactly what Donald Trump does. That’s what Bill Barr said. That’s what John Bolton has been saying.
And I’m no John Bolton fan. I’m starting to become one, I think. But Donald Trump never can take the blame.
When something goes wrong, it’s always somebody else’s fault. He’s always running for the presidency. He don’t realize he won the presidency and now he’s got to be president.
He’s still running against Joe Biden. He keeps saying all the problems we have with our economy has to do with Joe Biden. Well, then did Joe Biden only had one really bad year and that was 2021 of the first year he took over for Trump.
So the year that we had the 15 percent inflation, should we now assume that was really Trump’s inflation if a year later we’re still dealing with Biden’s inflation? Think about that. It’s this blamegame because nobody can own up to what they’re doing. But I do want to get back to what westarted this program off.
Is people getting rich off of Donald Trump’s what seems to be maniac actions? And is there some really sinister thing going on here? Which I do believe there’s some evidence of that. Here’s number take number one. Barron Trump invested 30 million dollars in Bitcoin 30 minutes before Donald Trump’s China tweet last week.
Turns out that wallet cashed out at one hundred and ninety million dollars just 24 hours later, which is just proof that Barron Trump and the Trump family did insider trading with Bitcoin. And it is a shame that the president of the United States, who’s apparently a billionaire, has to rely on tactics like this to make his six foot eight son rich. And here’s another report from Forbes.
And I think most people consider Forbes not left wing, radical left news. I think most people think of Forbes as a very conservative business site. And here is a report by them, which is actually sixmonths ago.
So in the very first eight months, nine months of his presidency, listen to the amount of money that Donald Trump himself has personally made. Today on Forbes, presidency boosts Trump’s net worth by three billion dollars in a year. Donald Trump just had the most lucrative year of his life.
The president is now worth a record seven point three billion dollars, up from four point three billion dollars in 2024 when he was still running for office. The three billion dollar gain vaulted him 118 spots on the Forbes 400, where he lands at number 201 this year. The 2025 Forbes 400 list was released yesterday.
So I’m sorry, but if you don’t think that’s a problem, I do think that’s a problem. And I’m going to get to another problem here that as Donald Trump and family and friends and insiders make gains, companies actually lose billions of dollars. Smaller companies go out of business.
Midsize companies, but I would consider we are today. We’ve had a very good run in the last 10 years. We’re losing a lot of money because of the statements that Donald Trump makes, and you go up and down, up and down.
You never know. I’ll give you an example before I play this next CNBC show about tweets can cost companies billions of dollars and here’s how. If I was to buy Solvent Friday, which I’m glad I did, I paid thirty five cents a pound for toluene, thirty four cents a pound for xylene.
I paid a dollar eighty five for M.A.K. and I forgot. And last thing I think was about a dollar ten a pound. If I was to buy this morning before he retweeted or re social media to his new found peace with Iran this morning when I got to work, toluene went from forty five cents a pound to a dollar ten.
Xylene went from forty four cents a pound to a dollar. M.A.K. went from a dollar eighty five pound to three dollars and sixty cents a pound. And butyl acetate went from a dollar.
I think it was a dollar two to a dollar twenty nine. That was the lowest of all the increases that’s happened. Here’s the funny thing.
Then Trump says, oh, no, there’s a deal in the work. Gold went back up in price. Oil plummetedand this afternoon we were looking at the place in the order of some solvents.
We call the same company. And guess what? Now toluene that was forty four that went to a dollar ten or whatever that was, ended up at sixty cents and everything went down. So if I bought nine o’clock this morning, I would have spent about twenty thousand extra dollars.
I didn’t need to spend all because of this guy in the White House using his own personal social media owned company to give out public messages to manipulate the stock market, the gold market and the solvent and fuel market. Listen to this on NBC, CNBC. When Donald Trump tweets, people listen.
He’s been meddling in foreign policy and as of late, he’s been moving markets by the billions. Take a look. Trump threatens Toyota, the big border tax, if it builds cars for Americans in Mexico and its shares tank.
It’s down more than three percent at one point. Or take his earlier tweet about Lockheed Martin, the maker of the F-35 fighter jet. Trump said the program costs were, quote, out of control and the company raised four billion dollars from its value in the space of hours.
This keeps happening, like when Boeing started trading lower within 10 seconds after his tweet. It’s getting to the point the businesses are actually in the business of helping the common trader benefit off the back of the Trump handle. One app just rolled out a new feature called Trump Trigger that alerts users anytime a publicly traded company is named in a Trump tweet.
So even you can cash in on those profitable 140 characters. But keep in mind, not every tweet from the president elect forces moves on the market. Let’s go back to that Boeing stock chart.
It may have fallen one percent after that tweet, but it recouped all those losses by the end of that same trading day. So maybe it’ll be too quick. Why even this reporter doesn’t even understand thievery and crookedness when they see it.
The reason that it went down in an hour later, it got back all of its gains that it lost, is because Trump retweeted that he was going to make a deal with Boeing and it was all going to work out fine. If you don’t see that in one day that hundreds of millions of dollars was made betting against Boeing, then betting for Boeing when their stock went down, you don’t understand what happens on Wall Street. But I want to get back to the war itself, because even die hard in the wool Trump supporters who think that man can do no wrong and everything in this war is going exactly the way it should go.
And when he came out today and said, if you don’t believe me, you might want to go to the Daily Mail. It’s on the plain truth as well. But Donald Trump actually said today that they’re in an agreement, possible an agreement with Iran’s government, that’s the Ayatollahs, that’s the radical clerics that want to destroy all Christians, all Jews in the world and all infidels, that they’re goingto have an agreement where they together protect the Strait of Hormuz.
Why in the world would we want to do that? And what does that really imply? I’ll tell you what it implies. It implies why he threw Pete Hegseth under the bus saying it was all his idea, because Donald Trump has seen gas go through the roof. He’s seen inflation go through the roof.
He sees his short war, because he never planned for it, go through the roof. And now he’s looking for an out. He wants to make money on this out by going up and down with the stock market, the gold market, the oil market, and who knows what else he’s investing in.
But at the same time, he’s in trouble. And we have lost this war because as I pointed out in the beginning, and I know I’m going to get some emails about this, we have not fought an enemy since World War II. And if we fought an enemy like Germany or Japan today, we would lose.
Not only would we lose militarily, we would also lose the public opinion in America. We would not have the press on our side as they were in World War II, and we would not have the public on our side as they were in World War II. This country has fallen apart.
This country, I did a show a year ago where I gave up. I know that what the Bible says is going to happen to America, that eventually we fall. We fall into captivity and into slavery under the domination of the European beast government called the King of the North, the Antichrist government of the Bible.
That’s what’s going to happen. I didn’t know Donald Trump, the person I voted for, was going to be instrumental of making it happen. But America cannot win this war in Iran.
Number one, we don’t have a president who knows how to fight, and we don’t have a military that knows how to plan. We don’t have a cabinet that can stand up to their president and tell him when he’s wrong. And we do not have an American public willing to sacrifice anything to stop a future nuclear terrorist threat on America.
They already proved it when they sent off two ICBM missiles that went 2,500 miles. You know what’s going to happen someday? Iran’s going to hit New York City, blow it to smithereens, and then everybody’s going to say, why didn’t anybody do anything about it? Well, now you know what we’re facing. And now here is retired General Keene.
You see him on Fox all the time, and he always tells you how great Trump’s military is, how great the military is, and how smart Donald Trump is. He’s always touting that he’s probably the smartest president militarily we’ve had in his lifetime. Well, I think he’s even starting to jump offthe Titanic.
Explode their drone development program. Well, here’s my thought on it. I mean, why did we get involved in this to begin with? And we did because after the 12-day war we realized that the Iranian regime, as opposed to having a military setback and learning from that, they doubled down.
They began in earnest to recover their ballistic missile program, to put more of it in deeply storage sites underneath the ground, to get China’s assistance, explode their drone development program, and went to two new sites to develop their nuclear program. And they knew that they had some enriched uranium that was not taken down by a result of the attacks on the three sites where that stuff is buried and the centrifuges are destroyed. So they, and then they started to funnel money through a different source than they usually did in terms of banks, etc., to their proxies.
So their behavior did not change one bit. And that brought Netanyahu and Trump together saying that we have got to change this regime. And the only way we’re going to change it is not through negotiations, because they lie and cheat and promise things they never deliver.
We got to take all this capability away from them. So we’re on the cusp of doing that. We’re several weeks in, three weeks in, probably a few more to go, to finish just that.
And are the Iranians likely interested in getting us to stop prematurely and not finish it completely, and using it as a bargaining chip? Well, we’ll open up the Straits of Hormuz for you, and we’ll promise not to ever develop a nuclear weapon. And you can come and check on us and make sure we’re not doing that, or other promises that they will make. I see that as empty promisesdealing with a regime that is only trying to do one thing here, survive.
They believe they win if they survive, and they will come back again and use the Straits of Hormuz as a bargaining chip and leverage that compel the region and the United States to their will. I don’t see this president falling into that trap. Well, unfortunately he does see it, and that’s why he’s talking the way he is, because he does see that’s happening.
Here’s another one. I want to get into another take before I finish up the show. This person, Danny Hapyong, he’s a podcaster, and he’s not well known, but he has some pretty good shows from time to time.
I think he thinks pretty good for a younger guy. It looks to be about maybe 30. But listen to what he has to say, and he’s 100% on target.
And there’s a lot of generals now that you can find online saying about the same things he’s saying about our military. Let’s listen. Welcome back to the show, everyone.
Hit the like button as you come on, because we’re getting right to the breaking updates. Donald Trump has caved on airstrikes on Iran’s electrical grid, and I want to tell you exactly why he has done this before even getting to that huge development. It all has to do with the fact that the warsituation, the military situation, is deteriorating, and it’s deteriorating very fast.
And I want to begin with Israel’s situation, because Iran has declared, as I’ve said before, that it has full control over the airspace of Israel. And now we are seeing exactly that taking place. Successive wave after successive wave of Iranian drone strike and missile strikes over Israel is demonstrating that it is completely out of interceptors at this point.
And I want to show you exactly why. So first we have to go over Operation True Promise for wave number 75. Iran not only continued to pound Tel Aviv and cities and towns across central Israel, but it also began expanding the front, as it promised, where it said that it wants the regional wars that Israel is waging to stop.
Well, it is now participating in conjunction with Hezbollah, where missile strikes are now coming down on the Israeli side of the Lebanese-Israeli border. That happened yesterday. There were also reports of Iranian missile strikes to the Golan Heights, which again is Syrian territory that is occupied by the Israeli settler colony.
And Iran reportedly hit there as well in Operation 74. So again, I’m saying successive wave after successive wave. Operation True Promise for wave number 74 happened as well in the last 24hours, and that hit sites in Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Petah Tikva, Holon.
All of these cities and towns in the settler colony ended up under missile fire in the last 24 hours. And the other thing he’s pointing out is, and this has not been reported that I saw, is that Iran now says that anything going through the Strait of Hormuz must be traded in Chinese dollar, the yuan, and not the dollar, or they won’t allow it to go through. And he has a point about this.
I’m not going to play it, but that is something that China has wanted done with the oil reserves around the Middle East, with Saudi Arabia, with Kuwait, with Iran, Iraq, all the oil producing Arab nations. They wanted them to switch off the dollar and go to the Chinese yuan for the price of oil. And I’m just saying right now, that doesn’t sound like a government that’s in retreat.
They’re killing their people. They’re in total control of their nation. And they are, as he pointed out, kind of totally control over Israel right now.
Israel is not defending themselves against these incoming missiles because, as reports were put on The Plain Truth two weeks ago, Israel was running short on their defensive missiles to take down these drones. And now Israel is doing what happened to Germany in World War II. They’re fighting a two-front war.
They’re fighting Hezbollah north in Lebanon and Iran from the east. And they might find themselves fighting ISIS from Syria again, all we know, because I don’t even trust that government. We are in a mess, and we are in a mess because we had a lot of kids in the room making decisions.
I haven’t seen a presidency so self-destruct more than this presidency has. And what bothers me the most about it, and it still does to this day, we come off Trump 1.0, which I think, next to Ronald Reagan, was the most successful presidency in my lifetime. It really was.
In 2017, 2018, small businesses in America boomed, and we did it without tariffs. Tariffs is what did us in. It boomed because President Trump then was standing up as a true populist, not as a deep state capitalist.
He stood up for the middle America, the Americans who work, the patriotic American who pays all the bills. And he got regulations off our back. He got taxes lowered.
He lowered the price of gasoline under his watch, lowered the price of food, lowered the price of living. Inflation was subdued. And I think everyone who voted for him really thought they were getting the same thing again.
And they found out, and I knew this, and I said this before, my wife didn’t even like it. When I saw those billionaires around them on day one, around that White House desk, signing all those executive orders, I said, I don’t think this is the same Donald Trump. I have a theory, and I’m going to say this before I put on the next part of this.
I have a theory that that bullet that was meant to hit Donald Trump and kill him, because the deep state wanted to kill him. And they wanted to prove even if he didn’t die, they could get him. I think that changed Donald Trump forever.
I think Donald Trump decided, I can’t fight the swamp. I’m going to join the swamp and get rich with the swamp and hell with the American people, because that is what I feel right now. The other thing my wife kind of thinks I kind of agree with her, there may be a little combination of everything.
I think he’s gone deranged. He was put through torture in all of these trials that were bogus from the Democrats. I am not forgetting what happened to Donald Trump by Democrats who hate America.
They hate you and me. In fact, they want to see you and me dead if we don’t capitulate to communism. They put the man through hell, and I think he became, he’s not a Christian.
We know he’s not a Christian. You don’t say you’re glad Robert Mueller’s dead when you’re a Christian. No, he’s a businessman who really doesn’t believe in God, but now wonders if God saved him.
And then you get delusions of grandeur. You also get the idea that you got to join him or you’re going to die. And then you also have the problem of megalomania, which he’s always suffered from.
He’s always had an arrogant, self-centered position his whole life when he was young, when he was on all the Oprah shows and everything else. It was always, Donald Trump was very arrogant. And that over the years has magnified, in my opinion, has magnified into a problem that we have as a country.
I’m going to end this with a commentary by Rick Wilson, who is talking about a newspaper, I’m sorry, a magazine article about the war. And I think it sums it up. And I had worried about this.
I thought it was going to happen. And I believe it’s happening. We’re losing the war like we’ve lost every war since World War II.
This is the latest cover of The Economist. It says Operation Blind Fury. And it’s, you know, Donald Trump looking kind of like Benny Hill.
I don’t know. I went on backwards there. And I mean, we shouldn’t laugh at it, you know, but it’s a fucking mess.
Yeah. Look, this is a war without a plan, without an actual strategy. And it’s important for folks who are following the independent media and following folks like us, Jim, to make sure you don’t fall into the dumb trap of Trumpism.
Their dumb trap is, oh, well, if you don’t like this war, you hate the troops. If you don’t like this war, you hate the men and women who are being ordered to fight it. It’s a lie.
It’s a pernicious lie. It’s a bullshit lie. But our men and women in the Gulf, American soldiers, sailors, airmen, marines, and civilians who are in the Gulf as well.
We have about 300,000 Americans live in the Persian Gulf working oil and other things. They’re in danger because Trump launched this war out of the back of his ass with no real plan. Yes, our men and women in uniform are conducting themselves magnificently.
Of course they’re going to knock out everything they go after. Of course they’re going to be brave and skilled at levels nobody else has. But they’re being led by a man who is running this war for malicious personal reasons.
He’s running it to distract from a failing economy and distract from the stink of Jeffrey Epstein all over him every day. He’s running it because people talked him into it. You’re the President of the United States.
People don’t talk you into things. You talk them into things. And what we’ve learned is, if you burn down all your alliances, as Trump has done for the last 10 years, not just the last year, if you burn down all your alliances, when it comes time that you need them, their answer is, yeah, no thanks.
Yeah. I think at this point they’re willing to just let him fall flat on his face to try to teach him a lesson for being such a schoolyard bully the last 10 years. I mean, I was showing this to Senator Warren.
I’ll show it to you too. He’s now even blaming the Israelis. He put out on Truth Social Post saying they’re the ones that violently lashed out at a major facility known as the South Pars gas field in Iran.
He says, Israel, out of anger for what has taken place in the Middle East. So he’s, you know, because the price of gas is going up and the price of oil is going up. He says, oh, it’s the Israelis.
They did it. And, you know, he don’t shit on anybody. Anybody.
And everybody’s feeling it. You know, you saw that NBC clip with John Allen and those voters in Pennsylvania. And I got to tell you, that really speaks to me, Jim.
This is the long divorce with the MAGA base. If you saw, he interviewed like four people, four or five people. And they were uncomfortable with the war.
They weren’t thrilled by it. They were like, well, I guess it’ll go down again soon. But one woman said, I voted for him three times.
That’s on me. This divorce that Trump is running on them right now, he’s finally screwed them enough times. And then they’ve caught him in bed with another woman more times than they canstand.
They’re sick of it. And rising gas prices, rising everything else because of the tariffs, which are still hovering out there like a bad, bad dream for a lot of farmers and a lot of manufacturers. He’s hurting his own people.
And one more. And that is what it is. He’s hurting the people who put him there.
The billionaires that are making trillions of dollars, trillions of dollars, they are Democrats. All of these tech giants are Democrats. The Democrats are really in control of this entire administration.
We have democratic policies. We have a Democrat war. We have a war that Johnson couldn’t do a better job with, like in Vietnam.
Well, that’s my take for today. As you can see, I’m very disgusted with what continues to go on.And every time I think he might be able to pull this thing off, he comes out with some statement, maybe to make money, maybe because he’s insane.
But that puts us further and further in a quagmire. Well, Bob Barney here saying goodbye, my friends. Good luck and bye-bye.
