We have trade wars, we have inflation rearing its ugly head, we have some bad economic news on Wall Street, gold is going through the roof, and now it looks like we’re not taking invading Greenland by military force off the table.

Hi, this is Bob Barney with The Plain Truth today, brought to you by theplaintruth.com website and one place to go to find out what’s really happening. One of the things that I’m going to talk about today, and again, I just feel like I’m a lone wolf crying out in the wilderness here, but if you listen to the news on TV or online, basically, you really can’t get what’s going on in the news.

3:21 When you listen to MSNBC or CNN, it’s anti-Trump, anti-everything, pro-Democrat all the way through. It’s just nonsense. When you listen to Fox, Newsmax, OAN, it’s the opposite. Trump is always right. Everything’s great. The economy is great. Americans are happy. Trump won a mandate with 49% of the vote, and everything is going the way it was supposed to be. I feel like I’m listening to ‘QAnon’ all over again.

The problem is, in my humble opinion, you go now to the website, you go to Daily Mail, which I have to admit, even though it’s a Murdoch paper, Daily Mail tends to have more accurate portrayals of stupid Democrats, smart Republicans, and stupid Republicans, things Trump is doing right and things Trump is doing wrong. They seem to be the most balanced place out there. But most of the websites you go to, it’s either all pro-Trump all the time or all pro-Democrat, all anti-Trump all the time. There is not really any real news. I believe The Plain Truth Today and ThePlainTruth.com is where you’re going to get the real news. If you go to our Message Board, you will see that we are putting up stories that are pro-Trump and we’re putting up stories that, I will have to say, are wary of what Trump is doing. I will say one thing. This is not the Trump of 2017. This is not Donald Trump 2.0, like they’re trying to say. The man who is Donald Trump running today is, in my opinion, a very arrogant and a very bombastic person that is, if it doesn’t change, he’s going to fail miserably. I feel like, and I’ve been telling my closest friends, I haven’t been saying it on this broadcast, but I feel like we have less than three months left before I realize we have a doomed and failed presidency. We knew Biden was a failed president within a month. I actually knew it before, but I wanted to wait to see what he would do as a president. When he signed all those executive orders, letting all the illegals come over the border, day one of his administrations, I knew the United States was in for four years of hell, and we were in four years of hell. Kamala Harris would have been Joe Biden on steroids. Unfortunately, that’s the case there.

The case with President Donald Trump since he’s taken office, people have had this opinion, and very close relatives of mine and friends of mine have had this opinion. I have never poo-pooed it, but I didn’t think it was probable. That is, because President Donald Trump came so close to death in that assassination attempt, the first one I’m talking about that actually shot his ear, that’s how close it was to his brain, that he had a come-to-God moment. I won’t even say a come-to-Jesus moment. I’m going to say a come-to-God moment where President Trump went through different variations of grief and panic, even though he didn’t display it.

8:23 He’s a very brave man. I’m not going to take that away from him, standing up there right afterwards again. But what happens sometimes to people are that when they have such a life-changing experience, and they can attribute God to it, sometimes they attribute, therefore, God has ordained them to do whatever they want to do. They are infallible because God is behind them, almost like a pope. That is a prescription for disaster, if that’s where he’s coming from. Like I said, when it was first mentioned to me by one of my daughters, I really didn’t think so. She’s a very big Trump supporter, always has been. I said, yeah, I can see that could be the case, but I don’t think that is the case. But I’m starting to wonder, and that’s why I had a show a few weeks ago where I talked about Nebuchadnezzar and how Nebuchadnezzar really was a man that God put in power, and he put in power to save the Jews from their enemies and to rescue Daniel from probably being murdered and killed by people who hated him. Nebuchadnezzar was a tool of the Lord God who became Jesus Christ, if you listen to his broadcast. And what happened was that all of the power that Nebuchadnezzar had went to his head. And one day, standing out, looking over his kingdom, he says, look at this kingdom that I myself has built. There is no one, no God greater than me. Nothing is greater than me. And all of a sudden, he heard a voice from heaven, and he was eating grass like a cow, thrown out of his palace for the next seven years until he realized that the Lord of lords, the King of kings, and the God of gods was in charge.

Daniel’s God was the true God. And once he finally admitted that, he came back and got all his glory back. Anyone’s arrogance, God hates arrogance, and anyone’s arrogance is going to work against them. But that’s not what we’re going to talk about today. What I’m going to talk about today is if anybody thinks the economy is getting better, they’re nuts. It is not getting better. I’m in the economy every day. My business and all my associates that I deal with knows what goes on in the economy. Just watch Wall Street. And I get a laugh when I hear these ever-Trumpers all of a sudden say, Wall Street don’t mean anything. It’s Main Street. Well, I got news for you.

There’s a lot of Main Streeters out there that have all their money and their IRAs and their 401ks invested in what? Wall Street. Stock market. And the stock market is taking a little bit. Now, is it a correction as some people think and hope it’s going to be? I don’t believe it’s a correction. I believe the stock market’s losses in the last three weeks or more has 100% to do with the tariff situation because no one knows what’s going on. No one really understands what President Trump plans to do. We have a story yesterday on the Plain Truth Message Board.

I just want to say right now, if you go anywhere each day, it’s the main page of the Plain Truth and the Message Board. You can always hear these podcasts that we do, these broadcasts, at any time down the road. You don’t have to be up at 7-Eleven in the morning when it starts or noontime. You can listen to it later in the day. I do think you should listen to the podcast every day. But when you go to the main page of the Plain Truth, but especially the Message Board, you’re getting a lot of news. You’re getting a lot of news that’s pro-Trump, anti-Trump, pro-this, anti-that. All the news that I think our readers should understand and be familiar with because we need to know what’s going on. And the Plain Truth’s Message Board really does bring you all kinds of stories, stories that you don’t really have all the perspective in any other one place anywhere else on the web or on TV or in print. And I’m proud of the Plain Truth. I’m very proud of what we have been able to establish without anybody’s money, and there’s no call for money. We don’t take your money. Everything we do is our gift to God and God’s people, which we hope are you.

13:34 But going back to this idea of the economy is doing bad, that Wall Street is doing bad, inflation is still rearing its ugly head. Is it transitory as they hope it is? I don’t think so from what I see right now. Unless Trump changes his position on the tariffs, inflation is going to be run away. One thing history teaches us that living off tariffs bring trade wars, and trade wars sometimes bring world wars. And speaking of world wars, yesterday, and we had it on the Plain Truth, Trump in an interview, I believe with NBC, said that we need, and we will have, 100%, we will have Greenland. And he would not rule out, this is what he actually said, he would not rule out military action to get it. And when I read that, I had to say to myself, and like I said, there’s going to be a lot of people don’t like what I have to say here, but I tell the Plain Truth. I tell the truth when it helps and when it hurts what you think. I tell the Plain Truth when it comes to what Easter is all about. I tell you the Plain Truth when it talks about a Sabbath day, not Sunday.

I’m also going to tell you the Plain Truth about some of the things and some of the antic’s Trump’s saying that is absolutely deranged. When he said, I will not take military action off the table. Now, I don’t believe he really means that.

15:24 I’m hoping he doesn’t really mean that. But I think this is what he thinks is part of negotiation.

At the same time, he is sending a signal that he’s no different than Putin, is he? Or Xi Jinping, who wants to take Taiwan back, even by force. They won’t take military action off the table.

We don’t need to hear this. First of all, Greenland is a part of Denmark, which is a NATO ally. And what does a NATO charter say? An attack on one is an attack on all. So if a member of NATO was to attack another NATO member’s territory, what does the EU, England, and the rest of NATO have to do if they’re going to abide by the charter? They’re going to have to go to war with the United States. And if they don’t, then the NATO charter is just symbolic and it means nothing. And it’s messaging China and Russia and our enemies that NATO means nothing. Don’t worry about an attack on one’s attack on all. If you’re going to say military action is not off the table for Greenland, you’re saying NATO means nothing. So you’re telling Putin, take Poland, take Czechoslovakia, take whatever you want, not just Ukraine. This is what’s happening out here. I did go to school, like I said before, for political science. I do know a little bit what I’m talking about. You cannot send signals out to your enemies that you’re like them, even if you think it’s some negotiation ploy, because perception is reality. Whatever people perceive as real is real to them, and that’s the decisions they’re going to make off of what is real to them. And there have been many wars, wars that were created by mistake that killed tens of millions of people because of ignorant people that do not know what they’re saying or what they say what it will bring about. And that is what I’m seeing right now.

We need to have the Trump 1.0 back. We need to have a president who, maybe it’s because this time around, he sees himself with a mandate and he sees himself as a godlike figure and that he is going to be Trump.

He wasn’t the first time around because he wanted to be this the first time around, but he didn’t have the chance. He didn’t have a Republican rubber stamp house, and that’s what he has right now.

I think Trump could call for the assassination of a Democrat opponent, and I think half the House members would instantly say, well, I think it’s a good idea

This is what we have today. All you have to do, and I’m having a hard time doing it myself, all you got to do is listen to the news. Listen to what these people in the press that are pro-Trump and in Congress that are pro-Trump willing to give up, willing to allow to happen. And it is like, we’re listening to mindless Democrats. I told my wife over the weekend, and I’m going to stand by this statement, I feel like I am living under a Democrat president right now.

The things that Donald Trump is doing is what Democrats do. They destroy the economy, they destroy our allies, they help our enemies, and they destroy the middle class. And that is what I see happening.

I do not want to have a self-fulfilling prophecy here. I want to see Trump change direction and focus, laser focus, on the economy, on producing oil in this country, oil by the billions of barrels. Open up ANWR, get the price of oil down to—you want to stop Putin? You want to stop Iran? You want to stop these despots around the world? Get oil down to $25 a barrel. They have no more money. It’s going to cost them $28 a barrel to get it out of the ground, because they’re not as efficient as a lot of the oil that we can get in ANWR, which is very easy to get, and let them starve to death on their oil that they can’t sell at a profit. That’s how you stop the wars.

18:23 You know, the other thing—I’m at a loss for words—the other thing, oh, this war would never happen if I was president. We hear this until nauseam. Never would happen if I was president. Well, you’re a president, and it’s going on. If I’m president, well, even before I take office, that war is going to come to an end. Well, you didn’t do that. You’ve taken office, and that war has not come to an end. Do not keep boasting about how great you are when the honest answer is, you’re not that great yet, and you’re not God, and don’t start acting like God, because you will lose the religious people who are Christians in this country.

You know, I have a problem with their holidays and their Sunday worshiping, but there are many Christians out there who sincerely believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and that’s what they need. That’s, number one, what you got to have, and these people are not going to trade in the Lord Jesus Christ for Trump. You wondered why this last election so many religious Christians did not vote lately, and they weren’t voting for him. Well, we’re finding an answer why, because many religious people who worship and adore Jesus Christ as they should, as their Lord and Savior, who is also the God of the Old Testament, by the way, they will not tolerate anyone walking all over the image of Christ by comparing themselves to that image by boastful speaking. God, and Jesus Christ is God, does not like boastful speaking, and again, we have to have some humility in the White House like we had the first time around. The first time around, small businesses like me absolutely boomed in business, boomed in profits. That’s not happening this time around.

20:30 I have people talking to me every day in my business saying, Bob, I don’t understand what’s going on. These are fellow businesspeople who voted for Trump, who loved Trump, who thought he was going to be like he was the first time around, and they’re talking to me now, and they’re saying, I don’t understand what’s going on here. He’s destroying the middle class. He is destroying the way of life for America. For what? For union voters? Because he wants to satisfy union and bring jobs back and make union—there’s a reason so many companies moved overseas in the first place, and a lot of it had to do with crooked unions that absolutely—

I remember, a side note here, I remember taking a tour through the Ford plant in Norfolk, which is now closed down. The second oldest plant for Ford had in the nation closed down 20 years ago, but I remember taking a tour because it was Norfolk, Virginia, where I was living at the time. I remember taking a tour through the Ford plant, and the person that took me on that tour was the shop steward for the union, and he was explaining how a Ford hour was not one hour long or 60 minutes long. A Ford hour was 50 minutes. Fifty minutes to an hour is every hour you had 10 minutes worth of break. Every hour. So that’s 80 minutes worth of breaks in an eight-hour shift. Think about that. And that did not count the 10.30 break. That did not count the 2.30 break or the half-hour lunch hour. I am partners in a business that is in Italy. Italy produces the finest polyester resins, or Europe in general, the finest polyester resins in the world. And one of the partnerships that I got into, a small, minor partnership, was I wanted to be able to produce the finest polyesters in the world for putties and fillers. And also, they have in Europe a phenomenal polishing system to polish out paint jobs, and I wanted part of that. So I bought into that company. Then I find out, probably going to be out of that company after this thing keeps going on, I find out that in Europe, you want to see the state where America is heading if we don’t watch out. In Europe, it takes three to four people to equal one employee. You say, why is that? Well, first of all, a person is paid for 40 hours for working 32, in some cases 30. You start off in Europe and in Italy with four weeks’ vacation time, year one. By year five, you’re already up to two months’ vacation time, and by year 10, you’re up to three months’ vacation time a year. You work 32 hours a week, not 40 or 48, no overtime. So what everybody does in Europe is they have to hire two to three extra people to do the same job as the first person in order to have one complete employee every day of the year that they’re open. And that’s just unsustainable.

22:56 And this is why so many people in Europe imported in all the Muslims to do the jobs that the Germans, the Italians, the Spanish and the Greeks were unwilling to do. That’s how that happened. And that’s how we got so many illegal Mexicans and Latin workers in this country. These illegals we’re talking about, you know, 95% of them, if not more, are not committing these horrible crimes. Most of these people are coming here to get jobs, to do the jobs, frankly, you and I don’t want to do. And then they want to get their money and take it back to wherever they’re from and live like a king because you can live like a king on American money. People don’t realize this. I was listening to a farmer out in California who was answering back some of the people, the pro-Trump people, who were accusing him and others like him of abusing the illegal aliens working for them because they’re paying them slave wages. And the guy said, I’ll tell you what a slave wage is. My pickers, which basically come from down south, you know, Mexico and below, these people make on average $2,000 a week, but they do work 75 to 80 hours. $2,000 a week picking grapes or picking cherries or picking apples or picking whatever I have ready. And on top of that $2,000 a week, they get their housing paid for, all their food is paid for, and I provide all their medical care. I send out a medical unit every day into the field and anybody that’s injured or don’t feel good can go there and they have free medical care. $2,000 a week. Does that sound like slave wages to you? And then he said, when these people are all deported and they all run back to where they ‘re, and that’s a problem he was afraid of, and they all run back to where they’re from, there is no American that’s going to do that job. If they are, they’re going to want to unionize. They’re going to want to work 30 hours a week. They’re going to want to be paid for 50 hours a week. And they’re going to refuse to do certain jobs. And they’re going to wonder why automation has to come in. Well, there are certain crops you can’t really do a good job with automation. You need people to actually pick them. And we’ve learned for 75 years, Americans don’t want to do that job. And that’s the plain truth. And there’s many jobs like that. There are many jobs that Americans, they want to sit there on a phone. They want to sit there on a computer.

I’ll give you, in my position, we make automotive paint. If you were to go to the average body shop, you have a car accident and you go to your neighborhood body shop, and you were to ask to take a tour of that body shop, you’re going to find one of two things. If you find people under 50 years old as body men and painters, they’re probably going to be Hispanic.

24:45 If you find them over 50 years old, they’re going to be old white men doing the job. And they’re doing a very good job. The problem is they’re not going to be around another 20 years. I have a friend of mine who teaches or did, he’s retired, but taught auto body school down in a Daytona University body shop course. And every year, they have 50 openings, and 25 or so are Latin, and 25 or so are black and white. And I told you the story two weeks ago. And it’s a 16-week course. You come out and they even promise you a job because there’s so many body shops looking for people. And just so you know, the average good body man can make $125,000 a year in all his benefits paid. The average painter can make just as much. Just remember this. So by the end of week eight, halfway through the class, out of the 50 students, there are about 25 or 26 students left, only the Hispanics. The blacks that were there dropped out, and the whites that were there dropped out. Why? Because it’s hard work. It’s not easy work. It’s stinky work. You’re working with solvents. You’re working with products that actually cause cancer if you don’t take the right precautions. And a lot of people for years haven’t taken the right precautions. It’s a very tough job. But at the same time, it’s a job without a college education, even without a high school education, you can come into and learn the business quite quickly. And if you’re any good at it, you can make more money than 90% of the people with a college diploma right off the bat. I know people in this industry making $150,000 to $175,000 a year, and they’re working as a body man or a painter. You’re not going to find that with too many people coming out of college. But what you’re finding is no younger American, unless you’re Hispanic, wants to do that job, no matter how good it pays. They’d work for $30,000 a year, live in their parents’ basement, and do something on a computer. They’re happy to make $30,000, $35,000 a year. They’ve got a $250,000 college debt. And they say to themselves, well, we need to make sure Biden gets in or somebody like him to pay off our debt, which I’m expecting Trump to be doing next. The absolute plain truth of the issue is there are jobs out there Americans just do not want to do.

26:56 And I’ll go one step further. Do you want to pay $3,000 for a 65-inch television set? If you bring back all the manufacturing back to America, everything to make a TV, including the labor and everything, back to America, and you put it in a union shop, you’re going to have why Zenith was the first American TV company to move out of this country. You’re going to find out that the TV you can go to Walmart now and buy for $700 is going to cost $3,000.And the average middle-class consumer out there is going to say, I want the one from China that’s $690. Screw the guy in the union anyway. I’m not in a union. Why do I want to support this thing? And that’s what’s going to happen. My friends, we are being sold a bill of goods. I don’t believe there are a million businesses getting money from our government that are over 120 years old. The principal owners, we heard this about 369-year-old guy getting a social security check. It was a lie. It was a boldface lie. And then on the Joe Rogan show, Elon Musk had admitted he was wrong. He didn’t want to, but Joe Rogan wouldn’t let it up. The only guy out there that seems to be asking the tough questions. We need to ask the tough questions. And I’m going to end it here and just say, if we do not expect this administration to toe the line and do what is right for this country, we have a lost presidency and we have an America on the verge of collapse and on the verge of a world war. And we do not need this. We do not need this. We need to make sure that people are held to the fire, that they are forced to do what they promised they would do. I’ll give you an example, just on a tangent here. Trump goes to the LA for the fires and says to the mayor and to the people around that table, don’t you sit here and not give out permits because I won’t stand for it. Well, I heard a Saturday that there was 6,000 homes and businesses burnt to the ground. As of Saturday, four, that’s F-O-U-R, four, the number four permits have been approved.

28:45 And yet we hear nothing from this administration about what is going on in North Carolina today. What is going on in North Carolina, huh? What’s going on in the LA? Four permits were allowed and nothing is being said. We’re too worried about tariffs and we’re too worried about Ukraine. We’re too worried about Hamas. We’re too worried about Iran. We got Trump elected, on the American people wanting a good economy again, like you brought us in 2017.Well, I’m sorry. That’s my ranting raven for today. I don’t want to be this. I don’t want to give this message. I don’t want to turn people off. I really wish I could give a better message, but I believe in God and I know what God wants. You just read the Bible. I’m no clairvoyant. I don’t have breakfast with God in the morning like a lot of these holy rollers out there claim they do. I don’t have any different source to God than you have. I have the Bible and I know what God looks for in a person, in a leader, and in a people. It’s not what’s happening and I’m afraid. What I’m giving you is not a prediction of doom and gloom. It’s my fear of doom and gloom because we are going in the wrong direction and it needs to stop now. Well, I have to thank you for listening. If you made it this far, this is Bob Barney for The Plain Truth today. It is brought to you by theplaintruth.com. I wish you go there every day and until tomorrow, goodbye friends.
