Hi, Bob Barney here for The Plain Truth today, and I’m going to do something a little different today and that’s going to be questions and answers. We haven’t done this in a long time. I’ve replayed the original one a few times, but I want to get into some of the questions that were sent to me or to The Plain Truth and some of the answers that was about it. So welcome to The Plain Truth today and here we go. One of the questions that was sent

0:27to me by a person was, they were intrigued when they realized that the calendar that we promote on the Plain Truth, the calendar we claim that is the God’s calendar, you could prove by the Bible, and I believe you can, we won’t get into the actual that, but they asked me, it seems to me, the question was, that what you’re stating is that the holy days fall on the same days every year. Is that possible?

0:53And of course, my answer to that was, yes, it is possible. Doesn’t Christmas always fall on December 25th? And doesn’t Easter, I’m sorry, not Easter, doesn’t July 4th always fall on July 4th? And doesn’t Halloween always fall on October 31st? And well, it’s the same thing.

1:12Passover, the first fruits, Pentecost, trumpets, atonement, Feast of Tabernacles, and the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles fall on the same calendar days every year. And believe it or not, because we don’t count the last five or six days of the former year, they’re like no days, we explain that in the calendar show, and maybe you would want to go back and listen to that again,

1:38but yes, Passover will always fall on the night of April 2nd. And on the day of April 3rd, which begins that next morning, again, remember the day in God’s Bible does not start in the evening as so many people propound. It really starts in the morning when the sun rises. Doesn’t that make sense? And so, I’m sorry, the first month on the 14th day of the month starts in the morning, but that’s not the holy part of that day.

2:10It does not start until that evening at sundown, just like Christmas Eve is December 24th at evening, and the next day is Christmas Day. Same idea, same every year. Well, Passover always falls on the evening of April 2nd, and the next day becomes the 15th of the month, of the first month, and that will always fall on April the 3rd. And then you

2:34have the 4th, the 5th, all the way through April the 9th, which is the last day of the Passover week. And that last day, remember, is a high holy Sabbath, and that’s what explains, when you read about finding the first fruits in the Old Testament and the New Testament, you understand that when it says the morrow after the Sabbath

2:55it’s talking about the Passover week last Sabbath, the ninth of April. And so first fruits, which really symbolizes Jesus’s resurrection from the dead, because he is the first fruits of many brethren, is always going to be on April 10th. Then you go 50 days from then and you come out to May 29th, and that is Pentecost. And after that,

3:20you go to Trumpets, which is the first day of the seventh month of God’s year, which will fall on September the 16th. Ten days later, or nine days later, actually, is the Feast of Trump, I’m sorry, is the Day of Atonement. And that begins, and the Day of Atonement is one of those days, like Passover, that starts on one day

3:45and ends on the next day. And it goes from the evening of one day until the evening of the next day. That does not prove evening days, neither does New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day happen on the same calendar date.

4:01They don’t. They happen in the same 24-hour period, however. And so atonement, the night of atonement, when you stop eating at 6 o’clock for 12, I’m sorry, for 24 hours, that is September the 24th. The September the 25th is the day of atonement, the day portion of that 24-hour fast that started the night before on the 9th, and that’s why

4:25it says the Day of Atonement goes from the evening of the 9th until the evening of the 10th. So simple when you understand the real plan of God here. And so September 25th is when Atonement ends at evening time, at about 6 o’clock is how we do it. Then you count five more days after that because that’s the tenth of the month, and the fifteenth of the month is when the Feast of Tabernacles starts, which would be September 29th, and it

4:56goes from September 29th to October 5th, and the last great day, or the eighth day of the feast as many people call it, falls on October the sixth. And that is the correct way to understand the holy days, how they fall on the same day every year. Not the same calendar day, it’s not always on a Monday or always on a Tuesday. It’s always on the same numeric calendar day in the, what you would follow your calendar,

5:29the, what all of us follow, which is a Julian calendar, Gregorian calendar that we follow today. So those are the dates corresponding to our calendar that we follow today when God’s holy days take place. Do not be fooled by those who try to talk to you about evening days and we don’t know when Passover happens.

5:52God is perfect. God’s plan is perfect. God’s calendar is perfect. Everything about God is perfect. Mathematical. God is the author of true science and he’s also the author of mathematics. Mathematics never fails.

6:07One and one is always two, and two and two is always four, and ten times two is always twenty. Perfection is what God is all about, not imperfection. God creates everything perfectly, including his calendar. The same person also asked me in a separate email, then how do, after you do your 360 days starting at the equinox, you fall either five

6:35or six days short of the March 20th New Year? And why is that you say five and a quarter days? Well, it’s not five and a quarter days. There are leap years. So most years, the no days that do not count after the 12th month, 30th day,

6:52there are five days that do not count in God’s calendar because the earth fell off balance, obviously, and we no longer have a 360-day year because of maybe the weight of the water from the flood, I don’t know the answer to that. But you wait five days and then it’s March 20th again.

7:11But on leap years, it’s usually six days because the actual spinning of the earth is 365 in one quarter day. So in four years, there’s an extra day that gets in there. And even in our modern calendar, we have a February 28th most of the time,

7:28but once every four years, we have a February 29th called leap year. And so the Egyptians did this long before Moses did this. And of course, Moses was schooled in all the Egyptian ways. And the Egyptian calendar, which their year started at the summer solstice,

7:48always ended with five or six no days counted until the new year began on their summer solstice. Well, it’s the same thing with God’s calendar. It ends, and then you count off no days until that equinox happens again, and you know that’s the first of

8:05the year. So all of your holidays, no matter if it’s a leap year or not, because you’re counting from equinox, all of the holidays, no matter if it’s a leap year or not, fall on the same days of the year and the same dates of the year. And that would answer that. One of the other questions that was sent to me, and I just think that, I just find it amazing how people just do not want to obey the Word of God, and they look for loopholes, or what they think is loopholes, so they don’t have to do something that they do not

8:39want to do. One of those, by the way, is circumcision of their children. But we will get into that. Maybe, I think there might be a question about that I wrote down. But anyway, a person says, a friend of mine says that the bread that Jesus had at his last supper was leavened and it was just a meal. Is that true? Well, let’s open up the Bible and read something here. First of all, I want to go to Matthew chapter 26 and just see what Jesus says in red. In black, it says, when Jesus had finished this talk with his disciples, he told them, quote, in red, in most red Bibles, as you know, the Passover celebration begins in two days, and I shall be betrayed and crucified.” Well, I

9:27know people don’t want to follow the Bible, but I think it’s pretty darn clear that Jesus knew when the Passover was going to be, and how many days it was going to be, and that it was going to fall on a specific day that was not the Jewish Passover. So the last supper that he had was his Passover. And also notice, by the way, that the disciples, who always ask the most stupid questions in the world whenever he said something or did something, why didn’t they say, wait a minute,

9:59Passover’s three days away. It’s not two days away. That’s when all the Jews have it. No, they already knew his calendar and they knew that their Passover was going to be in two days, but it was a Passover meal. Go to Luke 22, and now the Passover celebration was drawing near. The Jewish festival,

10:17when only bread made without yeast was used, the chief priests and other religious leaders were actively plotting murder, trying to find a way to kill him. So we see again, it is the Passover time talked about. And we go finally to John, starting with chapter 13, John 13. Jesus knew on the evening of Passover day, which is the evening part of the Passover day, which is April 2nd, that it would be his last night on earth before returning to his father. During supper the devil had already suggested to Judas, and it goes on. So Jesus knew on the evening of Passover day. Then it goes a

11:08little further and he says this. So let’s go back to Luke chapter 22 verse 10, well actually verse 13, they went off to the city and found everything just as Jesus had said and prepared the Passover supper. Not just some last supper, some supper just like any other meal of the year. And then it goes on and says, then Jesus and the others arrived and at the proper time, evening, at the proper time, all sat down together at the table, and he said, I have

11:45looked forward to this hour with deep longing, anxious to eat this Passover meal. That’s in red, my friends, this Passover meal. So these people who try to say, oh you do not have to follow unleavened bread on the Lord’s Supper, you can have leavened bread, and Jesus ate leavened bread. It’s a total lie. It’s a total trying to get around God’s Word. Read the words on the page. When you read the words on the page, you know what? Following God

12:17becomes quite easy because it’s very easy to understand God’s mind. The problem is the human mind doesn’t like everything God says to do. They want to find ways around things and they think because Jesus came to do away with the law, they can do anything they want to do. They don’t have to follow the Ten Commandments or especially the Sabbath command on the Ten Commandments or the Passover days. So people have the Last Supper, evidently, eating regular bread. It’s unbelievable how people just will not listen to the Bible. And I hope that answers questions about, was it a Passover meal? The Bible says it was a

12:58Passover meal. So therefore, was there leavened bread? Well, again, it’s a Passover meal, and you have to have unleavened bread? Well, again, it’s a Passover meal and you have to have unleavened bread on the Passover meal, and I just read you a quote that said that from the Bible. So anyway, that’s the answers to those holiday questions, calendar questions, date questions, and eating or not eating leavened or unleavened bread for the last supper, which is

13:28really the last supper before his death, but it was a Passover meal. And I think most biblical scholars accept that. I’ll be right back. This is Bob Barney for The Plain Truth Today, and we’re doing a different program today. In this program, we’re trying to answer some people’s questions. Please, PlainTruthToday at AOL.com comes directly to me. PlainTruthToday at AOL.com. Ask questions and I will answer them if I have the answer. And if I don’t, we’ll study it together. I’ll read the question, give them maybe a suggestion, and maybe people will have a better answer than me.

14:05That’s theplaintruth.com every day, but send your letters, your emails of questions to plaintruthtodayataol.com. Thank you. We’ll be right back in a second. So we’re back to the next question. That question is, is the Feast of First Fruits, which follows the last day of

14:25Passover, a special Sabbath like most of the other holidays? And the answer appears to be no, because it specifically says that you are to celebrate the Feast of First Fruits the day after the last Sabbath of the Passover week, and so it does not imply that it is a Sabbath day at all, it’s actually a work day because that’s when people pick the first fruit of their crops. That’s just in there as a holy day to remember. I guess you can work on that day because you are to remember that Christ is our

15:00first fruits. Why is that important for God and why does he want us to remember the Feast of First Fruits, not Pentecost we’re talking about. We’re talking about the the eighth day of Passover. Why is that day important for us to remember? It’s because Christ is the first fruits, the firstborn of the dead. He’s the first person in all of the history of mankind to be resurrected from the dead to immortal life, spiritual, spirit life.

15:31He is God again, fully God, not part human. And that is what your and my hope is. When we die, we go into a grave and we await the resurrection of the dead. And we made it clear in many programs, and you can prove this, so just 1 Corinthians 15, and you can prove when the resurrection of the dead happens,

15:55it does not happen until the last trump, the last trump you find in Revelation, just before Christ is returning to earth, he’s seen in the sky coming to earth to conquer the earth and to begin his kingdom called the Millennium. That is when the dead and Christ rise to meet him in the clouds. There’s not a secret rapture going on here.

16:17It’s plain sight. And that’s when the two witnesses, in my opinion, come back to life that you read in Revelation 11, when they’re dead for three and a half days, and then all of a sudden they come to life and they go up into the clouds,

16:30it says they’re going to meet Christ. They are resurrected when every other dead Christian is resurrected, not a moment before. And they go up to meet him in the clouds and descend back with him. And when they are resurrected this time from the dead, they

16:46are resurrected in immortal spirit, and they become literally children of God in spirit. They are God’s children. Hence, they are God. That’s what your Bible is telling you. The actual wonderful message of these holy days and of the plan of God is that God is reproducing the God kind. Remember, we go back to Genesis and what we see each fish is created after that fish kind, each cows are created after the cow kind, sheep are created after the

17:25sheep kind, but let us, you notice there’s plural here, that’s the father and the son talking, let us create man in our image after our likeness. We are going to become sons of the Father, brothers of Jesus, and we are gods ourself. Isn’t that a lot better than whiffing around on a cloud like an angel, and all we are is some kind of an angel, like your highway to heaven, he died,

17:54and he comes back to life, and he comes back to earth to save people. That’s not biblical. That’s not what God’s whole role is. We are gonna come back and help mortal people. That is during the Millennium, however, when we are spiritual beings, the little children of

18:10God, God’s ourself, and our task is going to be to help Christ rule his kingdom and help the living mortal human beings that’s still alive on this earth through the tribulation, maybe a very small population of them, and we’re gonna help them and help Christ teach them the right way to live. And when they die, which they will,

18:37they will be turned into children of God, immortal spirits again, and part of the God kind. That’s the good plan of God. I think it’s awesome. I think it’s unbelievable, just wonderful message. So much better than dying, going to heaven

18:53and looking down at your loved ones that you left behind, crying about you, getting into drugs, getting killed in horrible car crashes or drowning in floods. I don’t think most people, if they did go to heaven when they died, and that’s a good thought.

19:10It makes being a Christian so much easier if you can promote that lie and get people to believe it. But the truth is, would you wanna sit up in heaven and watch your spouse, the one you maybe spent 30, 40, 50 years with, some people 70 years with, and you’re gone now, and they’re suffering, and they’re being mistreated in an old age home,

19:31and maybe some person comes in and robs them at their home and beats them to death. Would you want to see that from heaven and say, oh boy, now they’re coming to be with me. How happy I am. No, I don’t think so. God’s plan is, if you follow it, much better. Another question, it was really a comment that was sent to me, and I just want to explain it better. I thought I explained it very well during the program that I said this. I had a story, or a program I should say, about when Donald Trump, in my opinion, and I think in Donald Trump’s own opinion, and I think in many Americans’ opinions, was literally saved from an assassin’s bullet

20:07by the hand of God. And then the person says, well then how can you find fault with God’s anointed, the one he saved, with all the things he’s doing wrong this time around? Are you not following what God’s will is?

20:20And the answer was, just because God has saved a leader from death and saved them to be an asset to the people, God’s people, doesn’t mean that person can’t turn against that same God, and then God turns their back on them again, even after they saved their life. And I’ve given examples of this. Saul is the very first king of Israel. God picked Saul and Saul cared more about what people thought of him than what God thought of him. And unfortunately, after many times of disobeying God and caring

20:59more about the people’s adoration of him,, God says to Samuel, his prophet, I am sorry that I made Saul king of Israel. God was sorry, God changed his mind. He no longer was gonna bless Saul’s kingdom, his children or his grandchildren anymore. And he said, I will find a different person.

21:24And he did so in will find a different person. And he did so in the shepherd boy, David. He found the person that was a man after his own heart, made him king, even before Saul died. There was actually two kings of Israel. David was the king not known, almost like the Robin Hood story, and Saul was the king that God had rejected even though he put there. So yes, a person can be saved from assassin’s bullet, but that doesn’t mean if they turn

21:51against God and what God’s wishes are, that God does not eventually turn their back on that person and find someone else to do his mission for him. And we see that time and time again with the different kings of Israel and Judah in the books of Chronicles and Kings, where we see God put someone there, try to help them, and then finally say,

22:14enough of that family line, I’m gonna do away with it. And that happens, and I think it’s happening right now unless Donald Trump changes what he’s doing, because what he is doing is not the will of God right now. It’s the will of Donald Trump’s arrogance and ego. And it is not good for this nation. It is not good for God’s people. And ultimately, it’s not good for the people who follow Donald Trump, who

22:38have the faith in God, and have to listen to others saying, well, if he was saved by God, then I don’t want nothing to do with your God. God does not want someone to disparage his, or I should say their name. And that’s the simple answer to that problem right there,

22:57or that question right there. So yes, you can be saved by God, and then you can be rejected by God. I wanna wrap this show up and I want to just talk about the plain truth today, what we’re trying to do. We talk a lot about politics and natural disasters and things going on currently in the world, but we try to do so in the light of what God thinks about it all. Because God is the ultimate newsmaker and was the best newscaster himself as Jesus Christ

23:30and through his prophets. And when you read the prophecies of the Old and New Testament, most of which have not yet occurred, you can set your clock or you can set your mind on the idea that what God says is going to happen is going to happen. That’s part of having faith. Faith is believing that something is gonna happen that seems to be impossible.

23:55Abraham was told he was gonna have a son by Sarah and she’s what, 80, 90 years old, he’s 100 years old, and guess what? She gets pregnant and has a son and he believed it was going to happen. And it says so in the New Testament by the Apostle Paul, because Abraham

24:10believed God’s word to be able to do what he said, God found him to be righteous. That is the whole idea of obeying God and believing God’s word, which is the Holy Bible. This broadcast is not a prophecy. This broadcast has nothing to do with being a religion or teaching Christianity or the true Bible. When we do a Bible study, it’s just to give you an idea of today’s news, tomorrow’s future, and the past in the light of Bible prophecies and in the light of the Bible.

24:50So sometimes we have to spend time to explain the Bible as no one else wants to explain it because they want to sell a Christianity of convenience, a Christianity you have to do nothing, nothing but believe on Jesus Christ. Well, the devil believes on Jesus Christ. Well, the devil believes on Jesus Christ. He’s seen him, he’s talked to him, he’s been face to face with Jesus Christ in heaven and on earth, by the way, which you can read in

25:14the Gospels. And that doesn’t make Satan a Christian, does it? And it doesn’t make you a Christian by trying to follow pagan ways and explaining away the words of the Bible so you yourself don’t have to obey God. And that’s what’s really going on. Now I do want to end the show by saying I do wish that people would send comments about what they think. Sometimes I wonder if anybody’s listening. I see the statistics and stuff, but does anybody really care what I’m talking about or whatever? So I want your comments as well.

25:48And I also want questions. And I also want suggestions that you think where I might be wrong or I might be right, or maybe there’s another answer. I have no problem. I’m not gonna use all of them.

25:58Many times the questions that come are kind of self-serving questions to prove their point of view or something like that. But for the most part, I do want to explain where I come to and how I come to it. Matter of fact, I’m probably gonna do a show again.

26:15I did a show and I repeat it from time to time how I came to believe what I do. But it’s actually a much longer story than that. And one of these days I am going to do a show on that but not probably in the next week or two or I don’t even have it planned. Or I have it planned maybe but I don’t have any ideas of what it’s going to be about. But you can send your

26:38questions to my personal email which is plaintruthtodayataol.com. All one word, plaintruthtodayataol.com. And I know people are gonna laugh, why do you have an AOL? Well, I’ve had AOL for almost 27, I think maybe 28 years now. I have AOL for my business, Tamco Paint.

27:00I have a personal AOL for me, and I have one for the Plain Truth, and I have one for a website we used to run called RaceRap, which was about local NASCAR racing. But for the most part, Plain Truth today, I still use AOL because I have so much history with that email system,

27:21that that’s how you can get your questions to me, your comments, or… The other can get your questions to me, your comments. The other thing I would like to have, and I have one guy that does this quite religiously, I use the word religiously, his name is Joe and I won’t give his last name, he may not want to be known that he listens to this show, who knows, but he sends me stories of interest. And one of the stories we’d have put up last week, which was

27:47the story about Jeffrey Epstein and maybe one of the reasons by Alan Dersowitch why the Trump administration decided to take the new route to say there’s nothing there, when everyone basically knows there is something there. And of course that idea is that it came to Donald Trump’s mind like the Kennedy assassination did. And people forget he said this in 2018 or 2019 when he said he was going to release the Warren Commission and their true reports about the Kennedy

28:20assassination. But the news would be so shocking it would shake the foundation of American patriotism to the core. And I believe that’s what it is with Jeff Epstein, by the way. I think the who’s who of religion, politics, the media, and big business was corrupted by Epstein was being blackmailed by him and had power over this nation I do know Epstein was working for Mossad the Israeli spy agency and There is probably so much stuff that if it was released

28:59Could cause America and America especially American patriots to say, you know what, I’m done with this country. I’m never gonna support it again and that would be bad. And maybe that is the reason Donald Trump’s doing what he’s doing. I don’t believe it’s gonna work, by the way. I don’t believe that his own base is going to allow this Jeffrey Epstein story to go away, but we’ll see. But anyway, that’s the show for today. I hope everybody enjoyed it and we’ll be back again. We’re on every day, Monday through Friday,

29:307-11 in the morning, 7-11 p.m. and a good noon show at 1201, Monday through Friday. Of course, Saturday is the Sabbath and we have a 7-11 Sabbath show at 7-11 a.m. 7-11 p.m. we try to put up a short story or a short video story, some kind of entertainment value, and then Sunday we have a 711 a.m. Sunday

29:51show, only one show for the whole day. So until tomorrow, Bob Barney for the Plain show, only one show for the whole day. So until tomorrow, Bob Barney for the Plain Truth today saying thank you for listening. Bye-bye.
